so in the irish colloquial, another word that i love but i seldom use outside of irish conversations is "you divil", bc like. for starters, i moved to a very catholic town in italy and if i say "divil" and they mishear it as "devil" then we're all fecked, right? but basically, divil is just a cute nickname you might use for a child who's being cheeky or someone who's being amusingly mischievous. u can also say "you rogue" but "you divil" is just making me yearn for home rn, that's all!
