omg omg knf i’m low-key feeling like a genius.
bb do you know that trend on tiktok where the bridesmaids give the husband naughty polaroids of the bride throughout the celebration I NEED HUSBAND!SVT REACTIONS TO THIS (u being the bride ofc)
also i’m saying need but if this is smth you don’t want to do feel free to ignore. ily mwah 💋
husband!seventeen reacting to your bridesmaids's giving them naughty polaroids of yours — tik tok trend
seungcheol’s in the middle of chatting with the groomsmen when he gets the envelope. he opens it, glancing down, and immediately freezes. his eyes widen as he realizes what he’s looking at. “you guys can’t just do this to me!” he tries to play it off, but he can’t help but sneak a peek at the photo again.
jeonghan's expression doesn’t change. he just stares at the photo, then looks up at your bridesmaids with a knowing smirk. he slips the picture into his jacket like it’s no big deal, but the second he catches your eye across the room, his smirk turns into a full-on grin. oh, he’s definitely going to tease you about this. “just wait, babe,” he mouths silently, making sure you know he’s got something planned.
joshua’s too polite to expect anything out of the ordinary, so when the envelope is handed to him, he opens it without a second thought. his eyes widen immediately, and his cheeks flush a deep red. “oh my god,” he whispers, quickly closing the envelope and tucking it away, glancing around nervously to see if anyone else saw it. he’s mortified, but there’s a little smile tugging at the corner of his lips. he looks over at you, shaking his head in disbelief.
junhui the second his eyes land on the photo, his brows shoot up, and his mouth falls open. “oh… wow,” he mumbles, trying to hold back the grin creeping up his face. he looks around to make sure no one else can see, quickly stuffing the photo into his suit pocket, but his eyes keep darting back to u. he gives you a playful smirk across the room, biting his lip slightly.
hoshi opens the envelope, sees the photo, and immediately lets out a loud “oh my god!” his eyes go wide, and he’s laughing, blushing like crazy. “seriously? right now?” he says, grinning ear to ear, but he’s clearly flustered. he tries to play it cool, but u can see the blush creeping up his neck.
wonwoo doesn’t say a word—just slips the photo into his jacket, giving the bridesmaids a quiet nod. but there’s a glint in his eyes when he looks over at you. he leans back in his chair, arms crossed, watching you adjusting his glasses, hoping that the dream of them hide his red cheeks.
woozi doesn’t know what’s coming when he takes the envelope, and when he opens it, his reaction is instant. his eyes widen, and his face turns bright red. “what the—” he quickly snaps the photo shut. he’s completely flustered, but he’s also low-key impressed. tries to act like it didn’t faze him, but the blush won’t go away. “you’re lucky it’s our wedding day, or you’d be in serious trouble.”
minghao’s expression barely changes, but you can see the slight quirk of his eyebrow. he glances at the photo, then at your bridesmaids with a knowing smirk. “you girls really think you’re slick, hm?” he says quietly, folding the photo and tucking it into his suit jacket. later, he’ll pull you aside, his voice low and teasing. “you’ve got some nerve doing this at our wedding, but I’m not mad about it.”
mingyu’s curious from the start, wondering what kind of wedding surprise your bridesmaids could’ve cooked up. when he sees the photo, his jaw drops. “no way…” he mutters, blinking like he can’t believe what he’s seeing. he blushes instantly, but his eyes keep drifting back to the photo.
seokmin’s the type to open the envelope with the biggest smile, thinking it’s something cute. but when he sees the photo, his eyes go wide, and he lets out a loud, “holy shit!” before clamping his hand over his mouth. his face turns bright red, and he quickly stuffs the photo back in the envelope.
seungkwan’s expecting a cute, heartfelt note or maybe some kind of sweet wedding surprise, so when he opens the envelope and sees the photo, he gasps. “oh my god, no way,” he mutters under his breath, his face instantly flushing red. he glances around nervously, quickly hiding the photo, but his heart’s racing. “you really had to do this today of all days?”
vernon pauses. his eyes widen slightly, and he lets out a quiet, surprised laugh. “wow… okay,” he mutters, nodding to himself like he’s impressed. he slips the photo back into the envelope, tucking it into his pocket with a smirk.
chan’s face turns beet red as he sees the photo, and he almost drops it. “what the—?! are you serious?” he sputters, eyes wide in shock. then he quickly glances over at you, trying to gauge your reaction. he chuckles nervously, clearly flustered but loving the chaos.

ot13 seventeen : when you pick them up and place them on kitchen counter
Tumblr media
seungcheol : raises his eyebrows and gives a questioning look, actually confused of whatever were you tryna do.
jeonghan : shamelessly smirking and spreading his legs open, "go ahead gimme that head."
joshua : blushing and chuckling but he cups your face and kisses you
junhui : blushing mess lol. He'll mumble something along the lines of "I was tryna make some snacks for us~" all pouty and cute
Soonyoung : man will 100% believe that you picked him up just to swipe/mop the floor lol and be so amused by you being strong enough to pick him up just like that (he could use this knowledge in a lot of ways in bed too)
Wonwoo : shrugs and doesn't even say something before grabbing you by the hair and shoving your face in his crotch
Woozi : "girl lemme make my protein shake in peace. I'll deal with your horny ass later." 😭🏻
Minghao : sus af. "What you doing babe?" Is having horny ideas internally but doesn't wanna say out loud unless you do so first.
Mingyu : one, you gotta be strong AF to pick up this hulk. Two, he'll be all giggly and blushing like "omg babe stawhp!"
Seokmin : blushing mess 2.0 but also simultaneously flirty about it. Like he'll say some corny ass pick up line about being picked up like that and then laugh about it himself
Seungkwan : complains as soon as you wrap your arms around his hips and raise him up. Blushes when you place him on the counter and sulks about you not picking him up all this time when you easily could.
Vernon : he would NOT react when you do that, munching on whatever snacks he found in kitchen and looking through his phone lol. like nothing at all. He's assuming you need to clean the floor or sumn, couldn't be less bothered 😭
Dino : cocky asf. "What you wanna do keeping me up here, huh? Wanna suck me or something?" When you do suck him, he'll be flustered, throwing his head back and all, absolutely subbing out with your mouth on him like that.

#Seungcheol
He is very supportive of your career and is proud of your accomplishments. He's clearing out his schedules to attend premieres, to silently cheer you on, and is not afraid to publicly express his admiration for your talent. Would casually appear during your shootings with your favorite flowers and snacks for everyone. "Babe! Aren't you supposed to be on the other side of the country?" "No, I'm supposed to be wherever you are."
#Jeonghan
Oh boy! he's taking tips, no jokes. He's got his notepad out and is ready to jot down directions and suggestions. He is ready to polish his acting skills which will come in helpful when bluffing others during the mafia game.  Bonus: he shares the prizes he wins from "Going Seventeen Mafia Games" with you. "Hannie that's the third Dyson air wrap you've won this year!"
#Joshua
Your supportive lil' boy. He helps you practice your lines and gives valuable advice. Everything flows smoothly until you reach a scene involving a kiss. joshua.exe has stopped functioning. He's momentarily frozen, and you can't help but wonder if he's even breathing. He had anticipated a kiss scene cuz you were the main lead, but it still bothered him a little to see you kiss someone else who is not him. But he's definitely not insecure or anything, just a peculiar sensation. And for the cure, just kiss the living daylights out of him so hard that he forgets the world except for you.
#Junhui
Well....he's an actor himself, so it's quite obvious that he's exceptionally proud of you. He's shamelessly promoting your movie/drama every chance he gets. Dedicates an entire Weibo live suggesting your movies and dramas to carats while explaining the plot in great detail. "You know The Dreamcatcher's plot twist caught me so hard that I almost fell off my seat"
#Hoshi
He wants to accompany you everywhere – to set, to your trailer as you practice your lines, to premieres and other events. He adores the world you live in and wishes to learn more about it. He tried out acting(a period drama) and continued talking in that manner for days. "What an interesting food this is, 'twixt two buns lies a delicacy that-" "It's just a burger calm down."
#Wonwoo
He would be so proud of you. He'll be your silent cheerleader. When the two of you are alone, he will lavishly compliment your acting and take you out to a lovely meal to celebrate the premiere. So, while it may not appear to others that he makes a big deal out of it, you'll know how proud he is.
#Woozi
Please DO NOT bring him to events – Woozi almost blends in with the numerous cameramen and women, his own phone in hand as he photographs picture after picture of you as you go into the premiere of your new film — he's a very proud boyfriend, after all. "Look here! babe. Damn you look so good"
#Seokmin
He is gonna hype you up so much omg. He like, Jun, won’t hesitate to promote your movie every chance he gets. His darling is building a name for themselves, and he'll be damned if he doesn't do everything he can to help them. He's always bugging Carats to go see the latest movie. Whenever you watch the movie alone, he will be more sincere and serious in his compliments. "No problem, carats! If you've already seen the film, you should go watch it two more times."
#Mingyu
He'd be captivated by your performance and would shove his face very close to the screen every time you appeared. And, while he may not shamelessly promote you as some of the other members do, he will certainly speak highly of you and your acting abilities to everyone he knows. That's all he talks about when he's out with his '97 liner buddies. Literally. "Y/n had to act like they had not found the killer while sitting right beside them. They are so cool!"
#Minghao
Minghao is buying the CD regardless of whether he could simply ask you for a copy of the movie you're in or even if he's seen it hundreds of times. He is one of your biggest fans; he owns all of your movies, has seen all of your shows, and knows all of your interviews by heart.  "Are you watching y/n’s movies again? Aren’t you tired?" "Fuck off"
#Seungkwan
He actually got to know you during an event promoting your latest drama. He's your biggest fanboy, watching every drama/movie you've ever starred in, and bombarding you with compliments. Winces slightly whenever he sees you kiss a fellow actor on screen. "So your type is Song Jung" "Come on!! Stop sulking, we filmed that 6 years ago"
#Vernon
Leaves 15-line reviews on your movies complimenting your acting skills. He is always pulling out your movies during movie night and doesn't understand why wouldn't wanna watch your own movie for the nth time again. "Babe, we have watched Wandering Dreams more than 20 times" "So, do you wanna watch 'Written in Sand'?" *dies* Bonus: All the movies you've starred in receive an obvious 5-star rating.
#Chan
He'd be so freaking excited! It wouldn't be strange to spend endless nights practicing your lines with him. Coffee would be essential for those nights, as the caffeine would keep you up as you practiced. And whenever someone pointed out how much the critics praised you, he'd say, "Yeah, of course, my love did amazing." It's as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
Tumblr media
BONUS:: Sends coffee trucks to the set during shooting: Minghao, Seungkwan, Jeonghan, Joshua ♡

EP1-1. Don't Let SEVENTEEN Know
Yeongseok was getting every piece of information about the other members out of S.Coups. What will they be doing at 5 in the morning? Which members are going to be drinking most likely? Who will be the most excited? The leader of the idol group was giving him every answer in detail, knowing the rest of the group like the back of his hand.
"Who will have the best reaction when they find out we're going?"
The question was thrown into the room, making the wheels in Seungcheol's head start turning right away. It didn't take him long to have the answers, remembering each time the members had excitedly talked about the Youth Over Flower program even before they had the luck of picking it out of the hat as a prize for their hard work.
The '95 Liner started listing off some of the brightest members of the group. At the, once again, mention of Mingyu, the producers couldn't help but chuckle, remarking that the leader had repeatedly talked about the taller member.
Amid their conversation and after a particular question from the producer, the two men realised that while Minghao would be definitely excited, he might also be possibly slightly disappointed in the trip. Seungcheol explained that it might surprise him that it would suddenly not only be him and Jun in Rome but he and the 12 other members. Na PD made sure to let the leader know he'd be looking out for the '97 Liner with an extra eye and keep him close.
A follow-up question from one of the producers behind the camera caught Cheol's attention.
"Other than Myungho-shi," he wondered, "are there any other members we need to take care of?"
For a second, 'Coups let himself think.
"Minnie."
"Minnie-shi?" The producer asked him again.
The '95 Liner nodded. "She... you'll see... she can get... how do I say this?" He wondered out loud. "She tends to look for a person for.. comfort? She wants to have someone right next to her that... she can trust and she can be comfortable with because... It's like... she gets like this and just wants to have someone that will... lead them well. She's just very careful sometimes," he explained. "Especially with this program because she won't trust you well at first," Cheol chuckled, "because of the past 'Youth Over Flowers' episodes."
[Leader who knows his members very well]
"Okay, okay... I see... So, Minnie will be clingy? Once she trusts us." Yeongseok questioned him further.
Cheol nodded. "Yeah, maybe... and it might seem cute, but don't let that fool you," he suddenly warned the older man, making him chuckle.
"W-What? What do you mean?" He laughed.
"She has a very strong personality," Coups smiled with wide eyes, embellishing his statement.
"Aaah," Na PD nodded his head. A memory made him chuckle again as he put his hand on the idol's shoulder. "She was already making deals with me during the first Game Caterer episode."
[Kids who like debating]
The comment made the leader laugh out loud and touch the older man's arm as he threw his head back in glee. Yeongseok joined him, chuckling along with the '95 Liner while some giggles could be also heard from behind the camera.
"That means she's comfortable with you, hyung. That's a good sign," S.Coups assured him with a nod. "If she puts up a fight with you, it means she likes you. Then she'll also be more fun."
Na PD took a deep breath in, "Aah, ok. That's good then, I guess... a bit confusing, but..." his eyes closed for a second as he chuckled before catching himself again. "Then I'll make sure to keep Minnie close to me as well. Along with Myungho and Mingyu."
"And anyone else?" The producer from behind the camera asked furthermore, clearly wanting to make sure that each member would be in good hands.
Cheol pressed his lips together before the next member's name rolled off his tongue. "Woozi?"
-
After knocking on the hotel door, S.Coups let himself in.
"You're so loud," he commented right as he entered, the camera not following him.
"Come in," Hoshi just ushered him inside. Followed by Joshua, who repeated it,
"Come in, come in."
"You're too loud," the leader told them again.
Minnie sighed softly, a smile evident through her voice, "I've been telling them that."
Mingyu interrupted her before she could say anything more. "But-" and suddenly started singing a random tune. The maknae was quick to join his hyung, coming up with lyrics that would fit the instrumentals the group was playing in the background.
"Did they wake you up?" The girl suddenly wondered.
Seungcheol shook his head, "I was already awake."
"Why are you awake at this hour?" She sounded clearly confused, maybe even slightly concerned, but the '95 Liner just brushed off her worry as he remembered the 'script'
"I think I lost my phone."
-
Dino was still in the middle of his written-on-the-spot song when he called the leader's phone as he asked him to do. Hoshi and Na PD were still in the hallway of the hotel floor when the phone rang. Unbeknownst to everyone but the '96 Liner, Yeongseok picked up the call and followed the idol back into the room, hot on his tracks.
After the two came in, the older man revealed himself to the six members who were in the room. Starting on the left side of the room, Seungcheol had taken a seat on one of the extra armchairs while Joshua and Seungkwan were occupying the couch and table right by the window. Mingyu had gotten comfortable laying on the bed, while Minnie was sitting up and the youngest decided to stand right next to the mattress.
Na PD barged in, still on the phone, "Coups-ya, how can you leave your phone just lying around?"
As soon as he came into view, the members jumped back in surprise. Joshua sat up straighter while Mingyu just continued to lounge off. Minnie's mouth was hanging open wide, gazing at the man in front of her with big eyes.
But he kept up his act, "How can you leave your phone lying around?"
Their leader had fallen into a fit of laughter, gripping his crunches tightly as he tried to collect himself again while the rest just looked around the room in a state of shock and surprise. With so many cameras on you all of a sudden, the expressions on each of their faces were understandable.
Hoshi joined Minnie on the side of the bed she had claimed, reaching out for the hand of the producer.
"Ah... wait a minute- we really... woah..." He kept on starting sentences and not finishing them.
"This can't be it," Joshua threw into the room, now also up and closer to the bed as all eyes were on Yeongseok, who held onto the '96 Liner's hands tightly as he talked.
"Hey!" He started, "This is what was promised."
Hoshi sighed out loud in frustration, "No, but our concert just ended yesterday-"
"Wait," Mingyu suddenly jumped in, scooching up further to the front of the mattress to stop right in front of Na PD. "Are we not going to Korea?"
The producer shook his head with a smile, "You can't go! That's not where you're going." Making the rapper's grin widen even more and eventually errupt into bright laughter as he threw his hands up and let himself fall back onto the bed. Even before his back hit the white sheets again, his arms wrapped around the girl who was still quietly in the background, hiding her mouth behind her hand that was covered by the black zip-up hoodie she was wearing.
"WOAH, that's so nice!" He called out happily, tightening his arms around her as if she was to thank rather than the man standing in front of the group.
-
Each member received a microphone to be clipped by the collar of their clothing and got to sit back down comfortably. Minnie decided to stay on the right side of the bed, her shoulder brushing against Hoshi's.
Everyone but the leader was still in somewhat of a bubble of the unknown, unsure of what would be happening next or where they would even be going even after they had started interrogating the producers and staff members about their schedule.
The performance unit's leader had another important question, "What's the thing where Myungho and Junnie are going to Italy, hyung?"
"Myungho and Junnie are going to Italy," Na PD simply answered, making the girl's eyebrows scrunch in confusion.
"Ah, so separate-" Hoshi started but was interrupted by Seungcheol, who chuckled at the disarray of his members.
"No," he smiled, "You're going together."
"We're going?" The '96 Liner looked up at the older man, who seemed to be also very much amused at the situation, but one member caught his attention.
"Minnie-ya," he turned to the girl with a smile, who met his eyes, "You've been so quiet."
She chuckled to herself, taking a deep breath in. "I... I'm still in shock," making the other producers smile as well. "Are we really going to Italy?" Her big eyes were fixed on him, not even daring to blink, too scared for it all to be a dream and blinking would wake her up.
Mingyu had fallen to his knees, clasping the producer's hands into his, practically begging him to not be lying to them. He desperately wanted the news of their apparent Italy journey to be true.
"Can I tell them that?" The older man asked his fellow producers who nodded with multiple chuckles. So, he turned back to the '97 Liners who were still gazing up at him with expecting eyes. "We're going to Italy." He assured them.
With big smiles and eyes, Minnie and Mingyu turned to each other, giggling before the rapper let his head into her lap, his cheek brushing against the white silk of her pyjama pants.
[Dream destination of the younger ones?]
Very quickly, Yeongseok explained the next few steps that would involve waking up the other members who were sleeping and gathering them all in one room to let the program officially start.
Only problem: some of the members were still drunk enough to most probably hardly remember anything about the events the following day.
"Right now, I-" Dino explained, "We're kind of drunk."
"We are drunk," Joshua agreed, his voice just underlying the statement he had just given.
"It's okay," Na PD assured them. "Everyone's drunk."
"Noona isn't," the youngest pointed at the girl who had stood up and was straightening out the hoodie she was wearing.
Yeongseok looked over at her. "Minnie, you're not drunk?"
The camera focused on the female idol who shook her head. "No," she chuckled, "I was sleeping, but my phone kept going off," she explained. "These idiots were texting me to come over."
[Interruption of her beauty sleep]
Her comment got a round of chuckles from the producers behind the cameras, making her smile and shake her head.
"So you haven't been here for long?" Shin Hyojung, one of the female producers, wondered.
"No," Minnie answered again. "I actually came like five minutes before you barged in."
"Woah," Na PD gasped, "So you could've caught us even before Hoshi..."
[Lucky timing]
"We really wanted her to drink with us," Hoshi walked over to the '97 Liner, linking his arm with hers.
"And I wanted to sleep," she added with a smile at the older member.
-
First on the list: Waking up Dokyeom.
The group, along with the producers exited the hotel room and rushed into the lobby, on their way to find the room of the other member. Minnie walked alongside the leader, Seungkwan was right in front of them, walking backwards so he could face the two.
"Pledis really does this?!" He continued to question the reality of the situation.
The girl shook her head, looking down at the floor before glancing forward again. "That can't be real. They can't just take us to Italy like that, right? Pledis wouldn't allow that."
"But they are," the leader stated, continuously laughing at the situation.
"That's crazy," she mumbled to herself, hugging her arms close to her torso
-
She had found the idea of barging into the other members' rooms entertaining, yet scary at first. She wasn't able to get the thought of them doing the exact same to her out of her head. 'Thank God, I was with the drunk part of the group...', Deep down, she knew she had to thank Dino and Hoshi for blowing up her phone and getting her out of bed because the situation could've gotten quite uncomfortable for quite a few people. These thoughts led to her staying in the background during their break-in into Dokyeom's room, choosing to laugh along with the members as they loudly shouted out for the '97 Liner to get up.
With his bloodshot eyes, he was still looking around the hallway on their way out towards the next victim's room. He tapped the girl's shoulder, making her turn to the right, immediately a giggle tumbling from her lips as she took in his dishevelled look.
"Minnie-ya..." Dokyeom gasped, "Is this real? Are we really going?"
The female idol patted his back with a smile, "Yes, we're really going right now."
"Woah..." he breathed out as they stopped right in front of the producer's room.
Seungkwan reached out to unlock the door with the master keycard, but his hand was slapped away by the '97 Liner rapper.
"Just go!" The leader, from the back of the line, called out, "Just go in with 'Woozi!'"
"What if he's not sleeping..." Seungkwan wondered out loud.
After a few more moments of debate, the members agreed to let Yeongseok walk in first to wake up the '96 Liner by pretending he was one of their managers. Waking him up softly like one of the staff members was definitely the better choice rather than barging in and screaming at his face like they did with the main vocalist right before.
Na PD didn't need much convincing before opening the door and stepping in. Everyone was surprised by the brightness of the room due to the lights that were still on - hardly anyone expected Woozi to be still up at this time. Well... he wasn't exactly. Walking further into the hotel room, the group of idols and producers found the singer lying on his bed, no sheets covering his body, still in the clothes he had worn before, spread out on top of the mattress.
One chuckle after the other fell with each step they took further into the room. All the while Yeongseok kept up his act of their road manager, trying to get Woozi out of bed.
Clearly confused, the '96 Liner pushed himself off the bed, the sound of each member's laughter echoing through the room as they started surrounding him. Mingyu's distinct laugh bounced off the walls specifically.
Minnie's eye drifted from the flustered member who had just been pulled out of his slumber, to the table right next to the bed. She immediately laughed even harder than before, walking up to Hoshi to show him.
After smacking his arm, she pointed forward, "Look at his protein powder!"
"Ah!" The performance unit's leader laughed out loud, "His protein! Look at the protein!" He caught the attention of the rest of the people in the room. Each member started laughing even more at the mention of the massive box of protein powder he had brought along for their, in relation, rather short Japan trip.
The producer was still too dishevelled to form proper sentences, just clearly wanting to get the group out of his room and onto the next one.
"Woozi-hyung, why are your sunglasses on the bed?" Dokyeom commented once his eyes found the accessory lying close to the pillows. Hoshi had reached out and grabbed them, handing them over to Mingyu, who put them on the older member's face and pushed them up to keep his hair looking somewhat sane.
Minnie chuckled with a shake of her head, "Woozi-hyung might just be the most fashionable sleeper I've ever seen." Then she turned to the producer. "But without them, you currently look like a crazy scientist." Getting a sarcastic grin from him in return, as Mingyu hit her arm with a chuckle.
-
"To which door are we going next?" Yeongseok wondered right away, as soon as Woozi was ready to go. He had gotten into the flow of the Seventeen members waking each other up. Each time, using their creativity and knowledge about one another to come up with fun ways to rip them out of their slumber and surprise them with the news.
"The room next door is-"
"Wonwoo," Minnie finished the sentence of the staff member quietly under her breath. Not enough for the rest to notice, but the camera right next to her had caught it.
Mingyu's voice suddenly rang through their ears. "But- I'm sorry. We'll skip Wonwoo-hyung."
The girl's eyebrows scrunched in confusion as she looked at her fellow '97 Liner, "Why?" Followed by Na PD who threw the same question into the room, sounding slightly more concerned than the girl, who just seemed confused by Mingyu's sudden comment.
"I just don't think it's going to be funny," he told the older man before meeting the eyes of the female member.
Minnie opened her mouth, still a slight scrunch in her eyebrows, but as soon as she closed her lips again her eyebrows returned to a neutral facial expression. Dino was quick to react.
"No, no, no, Wonwoo-hyung is fun," the youngest commented, already ready to make his way to the next room.
The girl was next. "Mm, it's gonna be okay," she assured the rapper, speaking softly as she walked up to him. "We'll make it fun."
-
Arrived at the next room, Seunkgwan and Dino were the first in line, right next to the door. The '98 Liner was already holding the keycard up, excited to wake up the next member.
"Wonwoo?" Na PD asked them again to make sure.
The main vocalist nodded, "Yes, we'll go with Wonwoo."
The producer of the show had caught up with the two youngest, standing next to them as the Seungkwan reached out to knock.
Minnie had come closer, stopping between Hoshi and Dino, waiting for the singer in front of them to finally open the door.
For a moment, the group waited after Seungkwan had knocked on the door three times. Only that Hoshi had already become too impatient,
"We can just go in." Not even wanting to wait another second, making the girl next to him chuckle.
"Let's go in," Dino whispered along with the older member, ushering Seungkwan to just open the door. With a soft push down on the handle, they opened it. Before they let themselves in, Hoshi had pushed Minnie forward, right past the maknae, who added another quick whisper of,
"Noona, go in first."
With quick, yet quiet steps, the female member pushed the door slightly more open and stepped into the room right after flicking on the lights.
"Oppa?" She greeted him at first.
Dino followed right behind her, with Seungkwan afterwards, who held the door open for the cameraman.
"Wonwoo-hyung, they say we need to go," he commented as soon as he walked in.
"Huh?" A raspy hum came from the other side of the room.
While all the other members were toddling inside in a line, one after the other, Minnie's voice was caught by the microphone.
"Oh- pull up the covers," she hastily stated. "Cover your body."
"Why-" Wonwoo was about to ask her a follow-up question when Na PD's voice echoed through the room.
"Wonwoo-ya!" He called out as he revealed himself from the hallway, appearing at the foot of the bed, on which Minnie had sat herself down, while the rapper was holding up the covers over his chest. "It's time to go!" The producer chuckled at the reaction of the '96 Liner as he let himself fall back against the mattress. "Wonwoo-ya... why are your shoulders so wide?" He laughed as he got closer to the bed, his hands finding his bare shoulders that had gotten famous ever since their Game Caterer episode.
The female idol laughed along with her members, holding onto the massive block of a power bank and his glasses as her eyes switched from watching the group in front of them to the man to her right, still hiding underneath the white hotel bedsheets.
"They're definitely wider than Mingyu's!" Cheol commented with a chuckle, making the girl divert her glance over to the '97 Liner, who continued to stand still with what could almost be considered a pout on his lips. She tilted her head with a tight smile decorating her face.
Yeongseok's laughter and voice filled the room, "I think we need to cover him up!" As he tried to do exactly that by tucking the sheets closer to Wonwoo's side. "Stay like this! Stay like this right now!" Pulling them even higher up to his neck.
Not able to hold back a smile, Minnie carefully opened his black frames and tried to place them onto his nose, knowing just how blurry everything must have been for him, making the situation even worse. As they happened to fall slightly crooked, she reached out again to fix them. "Wait," she chuckled, "You have to wear them properly."
"Oh," Na PD looked at him, "Yes, wear your glasses, please."
While Seungkwan's attention was now on the magazines that had been placed on the nightstand, the girl seemed to have noticed the redness shooting to the tips of the rapper's ears, making her smile even wider as she tried to cover them with his hair, running her hand over them and through each strand.
With a quick hand motion and moving lips towards the '98 Liner, he immediately knew what the girl had asked him to do.
"Ah- wait, wait, where are your clothes, hyung?"
"Oh, where are your clothes, Wonwoo-ya?" Yeongseok immediately engaged with them, looking around the room before the '96 Liner pointed towards the couch. He pushed himself up to sit up straight, the white blanket falling off his shoulders exposing just the very upper area of his torso.
"Oh? Hi, PD-nim." Wonwoo threw everyone off-guard at the sudden greeting. He had only now straightened his glasses properly and blinked enough times to get adjusted to the bright lights in his room.
Along with Yeongseok, who greeted him as well with a surprised tone lacing his voice as their hands interlocked, Minnie chuckled with the other members at the conversation happening in front of them. With laughter, the girl let herself fall forward, the palm of her right hand hitting Wonwoo's bare skin and shoulder muscles.
After being handed a shirt, the rapper turned to the two members that were closest to him - for one, Minnie on his left, sitting on the bed, and Seungkwan still standing to his right.
"What is this?" He asked them, the corners of his lips curling up into a tired smile.
"Hyung," the '98 Liner started, "We're going."
"Youth Over Flowers is starting," the girl explained further, giggling once again as the surprised eyes of the '96 Liner met hers.
"Going now?"
"Right now," she nodded, her hand still on his shoulder, only leaving it when he pulled the black shirt over his head and torso.
The quick comment, "That's my shirt," by Mingyu was met with a blank stare from the girl as she pressed her lips together, and quietness washed over the room. Wonwoo having to put on pants first, was the next big attention seeker.
While the rest of the group was debating who to wake up next, either Jun or Minghao, Na PD also admitted to his guilt of having to explain to the '97 Liner that he'd be going to Italy, not alone with his fellow Chinese member as he had thought, but with all the Seventeen members together. Minnie's hand was gripping the sheets, holding them up just slightly after she had noticed the struggle the rapper was having as he tried to put on pants without revealing himself to an entire camera crew and staff members.
-
They decided to go with Jun next. Apologising to him would be easier, or so Na PD thought before they barged into the '96 Liner's room, ripping him out of his slumber. Now, the producer was standing by the left side of the bed, his hands intertwined in front of him as he tried to find the right words.
"Jun," he spoke ever so softly, "I have something to tell you." The still dishevelled member looked to his right, trying to find the eyes of the older member while Dokyeom was trying to place the microphone onto the collar of Jun's shirt.
"I don't know from what point I need to start telling you," Yeongseok admitted, getting a round of laughter in return.
Minnie, who had taken her place next to the maknae, let her head fall onto his shoulder as the giggling shook both of their bodies.
"We lied about so many things," he admitted. "I don't know what to talk about first."
Jun let his eyes drift around the room, trying to find some explanation in the glances from his members, but they were all just smiling back at him in pure amusement. With a hand, he covered his mouth nervously.
"From what is it the truth?" He wondered, hoping to be able to figure out the starting point of what the producer kept on claiming to be 'a series of lies'.
"There's no truth," Minnie stated with a chuckle. "It's all lies."
"Hey!" Na PD turned to the girl, pointing at her with a smile, "Don't say it like that!"
"You have to be honest with him, hyung... He was so excited for the trip." She fought back, all while fighting her own giggles as Jun kept up his confused facial expression, switching between the two arguing parties.
"That..." He started once again, still flustered by having to admit to the fake schedule they had created for the idol group. "The... this program," Na PD finally let out. "That entire program."
Still slightly unsure of what exactly the man was talking about, the '96 Liner slowly nodded his head, "Aah... ah... okay..." Making the members around his bed chuckle.
The older man kept his stance with his intertwined hands, looking down at the performer with pure guilt written all over his face. He repeated his apology, explaining that the schedule wouldn't include the other two famous men, but the rest of his group instead. Trying to lift the mood by elaborating on how wonderful it is to be able to spend that time with the rest of his members was used to more so soothe him instead of the idol as Jun was still very much disoriented by the sudden intrusion.
"Do the members know too?" He wanted to know.
In chorus, they started explaining to him they had only just found out as well and weren't in on any 'plan' as he had thought.
Na PD placed a comforting hand on the '96 Liner's shoulder. "The people in front of your eyes right now," he started, "They didn't know anything 5 minutes ago." What he did leave out was the fact that not only were they unaware of the situation they'd be thrown into, but also unbelievably unprepared, as a rap battle seemed much more important.
The youngest of the group had another confession to make as he opened his mouth. "And hyung... I'm drunk right now." He suddenly revealed. The girl on his right wrapped her arm around his waist, patting his back as the room erupted in another round of laughter. Wonwoo was quick to jump into the situation, holding up his hand, showing four fingers that he moved around in front of Dino's face, a fond smile making his lips curl.
"Oh-" the maknae was surprised by the sudden action, "Three?" He called out, getting another chuckle from everyone in the room. Minnie's palm hit his chest with a giggle.
-
On their way out, onto the next room, the female member was interrupted in her conversation as the youngest called out for her.
"Noona!" He turned around to face her while she was walking a few steps behind them, next to Seungcheol.
She hummed in response, "Hm?"
"I really wasn't too weird, right?" He stopped in his tracks to let her catch up with him before he interlocked his arm with hers. "You were the only really sober one, so please tell me. I wasn't too weird, right?"
With a tight smile on her lips, their looks met. "Well..." she started, already making the maknae close his eyes and groan in embarrassment. "You weren't weird. You were just being you. But you did start a rap battle all of a sudden," she recalled with a giggle.
"Ah...," he sighed, letting his forehead rest against her shoulder, "Noona, why did I do that?"
Her lips formed a fond smile as she patted his back. "Don't worry about it. The people watching this will find it funny."
"Are you sure?" He asked her further, still with a slight sulk lacing his voice.
[Younger brother looking for affirmation]
She nodded, her hands brushing over his hair, making him smile.
-
The members had made their way into Vernon's room. Seungkwan had gone in first after the group was convinced that he the second youngest was actually still awake and not sleeping, like the rest had been. Inside, they were greeted with yet again the bright lights of the room, and, just like with Wonwoo, another two copies of their magazine cover on the table that Dino presented proudly to the camera.
The '98 Liner had himself fully covered by the white bedsheets, confirming the suspicion they had of him, like his fellow HHU member, not wearing anything to bed.
Mortified by the sudden amount of people invading his room, he had pulled the blanket up to his face. Even with Seungkwan's warning, nothing could've prepared him for this moment.
Minnie and Hoshi had joined him on the mattress, sitting down on the left side that was kept free while Na PD tried to get the younger member out of the comfort of the bed.
"I'm in such a dirty state right now," Vernon confessed, now hiding his entire face behind the safety of the sheets. "I'm only wearing this right now," he pointed to the thin piece of clothing working as a robe.
Yeongseok chuckled flustered. "Oh- you're only wearing that?"
Without a warning, Hoshi's hands suddenly travelled underneath the covers, getting a look of confusion from the girl in return. He patted around the mattress and body of the man underneath them when he suddenly nodded with a big grin.
"Ooh, he's really only wearing this," he told the rest of the room. The members and crew chuckled at his uncalled action. Shocked, but definitely not surprised.
Minnie, who kept her eyes on him, leaned closer to him, slapping his leg with an amused scoff, "You can't do that!"
Her fellow '97 Liner and rapper right next to them, hunched over in laughter, his hands falling to the shoulder of the performance unit leader, pushing him away.
They agreed to let him put on clothes first before they would move on to the next room. But the blanket still covering him turned out to be more of an obstacle than expected as he started squirming around, Na PD trying to lift the sheets to give him some more room to put on the pants that were handed to him. The movements seemed too funny for the group not to comment on them.
"Are you shedding?" Seungkwan was the first to comment.
Minnie smiled at his struggle. "You look like a transforming worm, Vernon," getting a round of chuckles from the members.
-
Getting Jeonghan out of bed was easy for the group. The '95 Liner was quick to play along and jumped into character almost instantly when Yeongseok was the first to walk into his room. He was up on his feet and ready to jump into action. You could've thought he hadn't even been sleeping.
"I don't know," Jeonghan mumbled, "I don't know how I am right now." While some of the other members were still focused on the magazines with his pictures on the cover. Somebody had placed a few copies of them on his table as well.
Na PD chuckled warmly, "You're very pretty right now. It's okay, it's okay." His assuring words made the vocalist nod and ready to go on to the next room.
Minnie sighed, "You could really wake up Jeonghan-hyung at any hour and he'll look pretty. That's so unfair." Followed by a slight sulk that was caught by the members. She was just about to turn around when Seungkwan's follow-up comment made her stop.
"Then you gotta work on your beauty sleep, noona." His words made her open her mouth but close it quickly, reminding herself of all of the cameras that were on them, so she just nodded. But a sarcastic smile was plastered on her face.
Woozi couldn't help but shake his head in amusement at the two. "Don't listen to him," he mumbled, patting her back before he turned around to leave them alone.
-
Next and final room: Minghao. The member Na PD was dreading to face, having to, once again, explain the situation and the lie they had come up with, making the '97 Liner believe he'd go on a trip to Italy with Jun alone, along with two other people from the entertainment industry. Well, now he'd get to enjoy the Italian flair with 12 of his members.
Standing in front of the last hotel room they'd break in, the debating started. How would they greet the member who was looking forward to the trip the most?
Seungkwan proposed that Yeongseok should go in first, clapping and congratulating Minghao on the trip. Jeonghan had the idea of letting the '98 Liner walk in first to wish him 'safe travels', but he stopped himself in the middle of the sentence, deciding that it would take too long to let one member after the other inside. Final decision: all of the barge in at the same time, clapping and celebrating. That would wake him up, for sure.
After one flick of the lights, the members rushed inside, their loud voices immediately filling the room as their claps bounced off the walls. Wide eyes welcomed them as Minghao looked around the room in surprise, taken aback by the sudden appearance of his members along with crew members he didn't recognize right away. Only after Seungkwan introduced Na PD, did the '97 Liner realise who was standing in front of him. He sat himself up to greet him.
Then it was time. The explanation.
Yeongseok started. "Oh, to be honest, Myungho-ya... there's something I need to apologise to you about."
As soon as the soft and delicate words, "What is it?" Left Minghao's lips, the producer stepped back. You would've thought he had to tell him Santa wasn't real by his reaction.
But after a moment of silence, he spilt the truth, explaining that Jun and his 'trip to Italy' was happening right at that moment, adding that the rest of the members were coming along too though. From her position next to S.Coups in the corner of the room, Minnie, along with the rest of the members burst into laughter when he started clapping and smiling almost painfully fake.
-
Minghao got dressed and the others got themselves comfortable around the room, spreading out onto the bed, and the couch, and some chose to stand up.
That's when Na PD spoke up again, "Okay, everyone's together, right?" A conversation easily followed. Hoshi started by explaining their fully packed schedule, which made the members realise that they would not even have the time to film 'Youth Over Flowers' at any point during that time, but the producer clarified the careful thought process that went into kidnapping the idol group and giving them a well-deserved break during such a busy time.
As the realisation of it happening right now hit Dino, he groaned and let his face fall into his hands, catching the attention of the girl. Minnie chuckled at the youngest antics, elbowing the leader on her right before she nodded towards the bed, where the maknae was contemplating all of his life choices.
"Look at Dino." Seungcheol joined her giggling, eyeing the youngest member carefully. "He's still drunk," she shook her head with a smile.
While Hoshi and Dokyeom discussed which month they had thought they'd get to film the program in, Shin Hyojung spoke up from behind the camera.
"Considering that, too," mentioning the packed schedule of the idol group. "we freed space for a week." Which caught the attention of each member.
Various gasps and hums echoed through the room.
"An entire week?!" Minnie wondered out loud in shock, getting a nod from the female producer in return.
"An entire week," she confirmed.
After she dropped the next lie, which had been the fake schedule they created for the entire week, another round of gasps could be heard from the singers. None of them could really believe the time and dedication the production crew had put into this - just for them.
"All fake," Seungcheol commented.
Minnie turned towards him. "Did you know about them being fake?!"
He was quick to shake his head, "I swear, I knew as much as you guys about this. I only found out a few hours before you."
"That's crazy..." the girl mumbled, her arms crossed in front of her chest, tightening the zip-up hoodie around her frame.
-
"I'm going to make some announcements," Na PD called out to get the attention back to the moment. "And we can talk about other things later!" Firstly, he let them know about their destination as only some of the members had caught onto where they were going - Rome, Italy. While sounds of surprise and happiness filled the room, Minnie stayed quiet and surprised Cheol when she suddenly wrapped her arm around his. The crutch made it slightly awkward, but it didn't stop her.
"Who has been to Italy?" Yeongseok wondered, getting a round of shaking heads in return.
"None," was repeatedly thrown into the room as different members answered him.
"No one?!" Na PD was well surprised by the answer. "Minnie," he caught the attention of the younger woman. "Not even you?" Expecting for at least her to have been to one of the most visited countries in Europe. But she shook her head as well,
"Not to Italy, no."
"That's why we picked it," another female producer explained from the other side of the room.
"We've never been to Europe," Seungkwan wined.
Woozi nodded in agreement, turning to Yeongseok, "We haven't been to Europe either."
Minnie's head dropped to Seungcheol's shoulder. He let go of his right crutch, using his now free hand to caress the arm she had interlocked with his.
Na PD's speech went on. "To be honest, Seventeen has had a really packed schedule up to now. I know that you had a really hard time." He got sounds of agreement and nodding heads in return. "You must've had no time to rest at all. So, the concept of this Italy vacation is different from our usual 'Youth Over Flowers'." He continued to explain the differences in the program the group would film. They wouldn't face any hardships, not suffer as they go along. It would be an 'all-inclusive package' for a real holiday.
"So, you just need to play. We searched and rented all places where we could play and enjoy. At breakfast, go visit stuff and eat delicious things. At dinner, we get together and play," he explained further. "We're going to spend a week like this." As expected, the members reacted in glee. Happy, surprised and yet still not fully believing things that good would happen to them.
Woozi was the first to question the sincerity. "We can believe this, right?" Which made Yeongseok turn to him in surprise,
"You can trust me! You can trust this!"
Minnie squinted her eyes jokingly. "I feel like that's exactly something that someone who'd try to trick us would say."
"No, ah-" He sighed and shook his head with a smile, "Really. Trust me with this." Turning to the other producers, he looked for help. "Tell them that this is right!"
After revealing the new name of the program 'NANA Tour', the group almost forgot it was too good to be true. But the following words from Na PD made them realise they may have started celebrating too early.
"Since our trip is an all-inclusive package," he stated, "there's nothing that you guys need to prepare."
"Huh?!"
The members started to look for each others' gazes, trying to find some sense in a moment of confusion.
"You don't need your bag or anything else," Yeongseok explained further. "The things you need are the clothes you're wearing and a cell phone. You don't need your wallet."
"Really?" Dokyeom asked out loud.
Minnie glanced at the man in confusion while mumbling to herself "But I'm wearing pyjamas." Her worried tone got a chuckle out of Seungcheol as he looked over to her, shaking his head.
But even with all the good news the group had gotten, bad news was about to follow as well.
"The problem is that we- our package's departure schedule is a bit early."
The girl opened her mouth to say something, but Woozi beat her to it as he pointed at the man on the bed.
"I'm saying that his eyes are scary!" Making the crew of producers and cameramen laugh wholeheartedly and zoom into Yeongseok's face.
"How could you let us leave us without anything on us?!" Minnie called out in frustration. "That's not right... You have something planned! Don't lie!"
Na PD couldn't help but chuckle, hunching over before holding himself up from the mattress by his hands. "No, I promise. We're going to go to Italy. But the problem is that we have to go kind of early!" He argued back.
A comforting hand found its way to Minnie's back as Cheol shrugged his arm out of her grasp to wrap it around her frame. Her eyebrows were back scrunched up in confusion as she whispered to the leader,
"I don't trust him." To which he chuckled.
"It's okay, you can trust him." But she just shook her head with a pout on her lips.
Her attention went back to listening to the producer as he spoke, "You guys are going to get dressed starting now and in three minutes-"
"What?!"
"In three minutes?!"
"Hyung!"
"This is so much fun," came from Jeonghan, who seemed to be the only one to enjoy the stress that was put on the group with that statement alone.
Na PD was quick to add, "Because you don't need a bag or wallet! We have all of your passports."
Right away, questions started coming from left and right.
"Can I still brush my teeth?"
"Can't I take a shower?"
"Is there underwear in the package?"
"Everything!" Yeongseok answered Dokyeom's question. "Just wear what you're wearing now-"
"I can't wear pyjamas to the airport," Minnie sighed out, running a hand through her hair with a deep breath.
Jeonghan grinned at her, "Don't worry, Minnie-ya. You make everything look fashionable."
With scrunched eyebrows, she glanced over at him, not able to hold back a smile once she came to sight with his.
As soon as Na PD gave the official 'ok' to split up and start getting ready, the members split up quickly. They rushed out of Minghao's room one after the other, trying to get to their own rooms as quickly as possible. Jeonghan didn't seem to be nearly as stressed as the others as he decided to stay back. Minnie was doing the same, standing still in her place next to the leader.
"Oh... oppa...," she sighed. Cheol immediately knew what she wanted to say, so he was quick to interrupt her, patting her back once again.
"No, go, go. Get ready. Change your clothes. I'll meet you downstairs," he assured her.
"Really? You'll still be here?" She asked further, getting a nod from him in response.
"Ok..." she mumbled. before she left, she hastily threw her arms around his shoulder, giving him a quick squeeze before exiting the room as well, thoughts of which clothes to take out of her suitcase already rushing through her mind.
-
She had already finished packing her luggage the evening before, right after the concert, wanting to spare herself the stress of packing it right before their flight back home. Therefore, Minnie's baby blue suitcase was already in the hallway, where she had to put it on the ground to open it.
"Ok," she thought out loud, "Rome is probably hot right now at this time of year... but I want to be comfortable on the plane. So... I'm not gonna wear shorts, but thin long pants. But a short shirt. That should be fine, right?" She looked up from her position on the floor, glancing at the cameraman, who just shrugged back.
The girl chuckled and nodded to herself. "It'll be fine," she stood back up after gathering everything from her suitcase, including a pair of sneakers. "More important is... what will I take in my small bag," with a hand on her chin, she contemplated. "Sunglasses... maybe tissues... I can't bring make-up, right?" The cameraman shook his head. "Ok... that's... ok... but suncream. I'll need suncream. OH- and chapstick- hold on. I also need to brush my teeth..."
-
After Wonwoo, Minnie was next to enter the meeting room, getting greeted by Na PD immediately, and the '96 Liner along with S.Coups, Hoshi and Minghao who had already taken a seat on the chairs and couch. She had changed into a pair of jeans along with a slightly cropped white shirt and a grey cropped cardigan on top. A black hat was on her head, but she had taken it off once she walked in.
"Minnie, come in and sit," the producer ushered her inside. But something caught his eye. "Ah- Minnie-ya," at the sound of her name, the girl stopped in her tracks.
Yeongseok reached out his open palm. "Give me your bag."
Her hands found the handle on her shoulder in an instant, clinging onto it tightly.
"But I need it," she fought back.
With a sigh, the producer continued looking at her. "I promise you, everything you need, you'll get from us. Come on, give me the bag."
Hesitantly, the female member let the leather brush off her shoulder, before slowly handing it over. But just before Yeongseok could get a hold of it, she pulled it back, "Wait! Can I take out what I need?"
A chuckle tumbled from his lips as she shook his head. Glancing over at the other members, he only found amused faces looking back at him. He took a deep breath, "What is it that you need so desperately?"
As an answer, Minnie placed the bag on the console table on the left side of the room and started rummaging. Picking out the important things, she counted them, "Chapstick, sunscreen, and... sunglasses!" She showed the things to the producer, who nodded after inspecting them.
"Ok, ok, you can take them. If they fit in your pockets. Now sit down." With a nod and a quick, "Thank you," she went after his orders.
-
Na PD, Cheol, Joshua, Wonwoo, Dokyeom, Vernon, and Minnie made their way downstairs with the elevator. Stopping in the garage, where a car was already waiting for them. Just as they were about to leave, the '96 and '98 Liner of the Hip-Hop-Unit walking towards the vehicle first, Yeonseok calling out for S.Coups caught their attention and made them turn around again, almost forgetting that their leader wasn't going with them.
One after the other, the members said goodbye to him, hugging him one last time before they'd be on their way. Minnie stood still between him and the producer.
"Aah, you're not coming with us!" Vernon suddenly realised.
The girl pouted, "How the heck is he supposed to come with us with his injury?!" Clearly frustrated by the situation.
"I totally forgot about that," the younger member nervously chuckled. After individually making sure they had said goodbye properly, wishing him a comfortable ride home, it was Minnie's turn to hug him. Without a word, she threw her arms around his shoulders as Joshua patted the head of their leader. With a sigh, she let him go again.
"I don't like this...."
"Don't be like that, Minnie-ya," he nudged her. "Have fun in Italy. Be careful."
She nodded hesitantly, "I guess we will."
"You guess?!" Na PD gasped next to her, making the girl chuckle. "You guess?! We'll make sure that you guys have fun."
"Ok, ok," she nodded again. One last time, Seungcheol opened his arms to pull her in. Just as she was about to let go of him, the '95 Liner whispered something into her ear, to which she frowned at first as soon as they separated, but then she assured him, she had understood him. With a last wave, she bid him her final goodbye before she'd get to see him again in about two weeks.
[they will reunite well]

EP1-2. Off to Italy
Minnie took her place by the window, with Minghao on her right. The bus had started its engine and was about to start driving away. The members looked outside to see their CEO, managers, and most importantly their leader standing on the side, waving them off.
[bye bye]
With a sad smile, the girl waved back, nodding at S.Coups after he had motioned something with his hands. Her gaze didn't leave the window until everyone was out of sight. Only then did she let herself fall back against the seat, looking down at her hands with a sigh. Her fellow '97 Liner noticed her quietness and placed a hand on top of hers, making her look up.
She was greeted with the kind smile of her best friend, making her grin in return. He gave her hand a little squeeze, which she copied, quickly developing into a battle of who could squeeze the other person's hand harder. Even if it was obvious who would win, Minnie still put up the fight, grinning down at their hands, and just taking a moment to be thankful for the person to her right.
-
Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Minghao were sitting together at Incheon Airport, waiting for the connecting flight with Na PD, who was behind the camera they had set up, engaging in a comfortable conversation.
Minnie suddenly appeared from the background, joining the group on the floor, her phone in her grip.
"Did you talk to your mum?" Yeongseok asked.
The girl nodded with a smile. "I told her we're going to Rome."
He chuckled, "What did she say?"
"'Why not closer to us?'" Minnie changed her voice into a slightly higher tone, impersonating her mother. "'I could've brought you guys something to eat.'"
[caring words of a mother <3]
The members around her started laughing, with Hao leaning onto her shoulder.
Na PD scoffed with a chuckle. "Does she think we won't feed you?"
Minnie shrugged, "I think she also thinks this will be more like 'Youth Over Flowers'." To which the producer laughed in return.
-
Deep in her slumber, the female idol was catching up on the few hours of sleep she had missed out on due to the intense rap battle her fellow members wanted her to witness.
[beauty sleep]
"Minnie-ya," a soft voice from the right spoke up. When she didn't react, a hand reached out to nudge her.
The camera angle expanded, to expose Wonwoo, who was trying to get her to wake up. With one more gentle shove to her arm and a repetition of her name, his voice ever so soft, Minnie's eyes fluttered open. For a second, there was clear confusion written on her face, but as she looked to her left, she found the rapper's eyes already on her, she smiled.
"Hm?"
"Eat something before we land," Wonwoo spoke quietly, not trying to distress her as she tried to adjust her eyes to the brightness. Minnie nodded and with a quick click of a button, she let her seat straighten back up.
"When do we land?"
"In like two hours."
"Ok," she answered, trying to hold back a yawn without any luck. Then she glanced at the clock. "Ah... I forgot about the time difference... it's evening now."
"Mm," Wonwoo looked away from his phone to glance over at her, "Are you still tired?"
For a second, the girl seemed to think about it. "A little bit. I hope I'll get to sleep."
-
EP1-3. First Step of the Travel
After landing and walking through the airport for a good bit, they arrived at the visa checkpoints. Jun and Minghao were separated from the group due to their Chinese passports, but what caught the members off-guard was when Minnie was directed towards a different line than them.
"Where are you going?" Mingyu asked the girl as he filmed himself.
"We took Minnie's EU passport, not her Korean one, so she has an easier way," one of the producers behind him explained to him. The '97 Liner nodded while watching her walk away.
The female member had gotten her own vlogging camera, filming the lower side of her face that was still covered by a mask. She didn't start talking until she came to a halt and pulled the mask down and the camera up to show her entire face.
"And now we'll wait. Because the members are gonna take a little bit longer than me." And ended her commentary with a smile.
-
Dino, Hoshi, and Wonwoo were the first to join her.
"Noona, you just walked through the gates!" The youngest called out as soon as they had caught up with her.
Minnie chuckled, "Yeah, it's like this within some countries in Europe. If you were born here."
"Aaah," he nodded. "Practical."
When she saw the vlogging camera Hoshi was holding up, the girl put her own one down, focusing more on her surroundings as they walked through the entrance/exit of the airport and out into the warm late summer air.
The rest of the members, besides Jun and Minghao, were already hot on their tracks as well and followed them to the bus that was waiting for them outside. Walking in, they greeted the driver before cramping together into the seats at the back. Vernon and Minnie decided to sit together with the younger member by the window and the girl by the aisle.
During their little gaming session, the girl decided to relax, mostly focused on her own phone, texting her mum about their arrival, sending a quick message to their leader and scrolling through Social Media.
When Minghao and Jun finally joined them on the bus, they were ready to leave. Right from the start, the producers could feel the energy coming from the group. Everyone was excited and most of them had slept enough on the flight, explaining their high energy levels.
"The name of the airport," a staff member suddenly spoke up, "is Leonardo Da Vinci Airport."
"Ooh, Vernonnie." Dokyeom's voice rang through the ears of the girl. Only a split second later, she started to laugh. The members quickly caught onto the comment by the '97 Liner.
"No, Leonardo da Vinci."
"Not that Leonardo, Dokyeom-ah," Minnie and Mingyu spoke at the same time, both smiling at the situation. It was only then that Vernon, the man in question, realised what was being said, making him chuckle as he ran a hand over his face.
During the rest of the drive, Na PD was in charge of entertainment. He started with the description of their accommodation, mentioning that it was an Airbnb they had booked. But before they would get to their housing, the crew had decided to make a quick stop by the Colosseum to take a group picture and let the idol group roam around a little bit.
The producer started them off with some facts.
"You all know what it looks like, right?"
The group agreed in union.
"Round and pretty," Minnie added with a bright face. At the sound of her voice, Wonwoo turned his head to glance over at her, a fond smile on his lips.
"Right," the producer answered, "Round and... yeah, pretty I guess too." Making the girl chuckle. "It's a building that was built about 2000 years ago. It's an ancient theatre. Simply put an amphitheatre. There's an audience, and what do you think they did in the centre?"
"Duel," Wonwoo and Minnie answered at the same time. With grins, they glanced at each other, chuckling when their eyes met. European history had always been a big interest of theirs.
"Exactly," Na PD pointed at the two. "Duel. Gladiators would fight each other or a tiger vs. human."
The girl suddenly gasped quietly, "Hoshi-hyung..." Which only seemed to have reached the ears of the two '96 Liners next to her, who had turned to smile at the other one, clearly amused by the comment of the female member.
-
After they arrived at the sight, the group quickly split up again into smaller portions, each member wanting to see and explore the ancient building for themselves.
Minnie stood still as her eye raked up and down the height of the Colosseum, astonished at what she was seeing with her own eyes.
"It's so much bigger than I expected for some reason," she commented out loud, catching the attention of Yeongseok, who had stopped to her left.
He nodded. "Mm, but you must be used to buildings like this, or not?"
The girl shook her head with a smile. "I don't think you can ever get used to this. Ancient buildings are always so shocking when get to see them in real life."
"The Eiffel Tower for you too? You must've seen that quite a few times already," he continued the conversation as the two made their way further around the arena.
Minnie chuckled, "Yeah, I guess so," she explained, "But it's a lot smaller than people expect."
"Oh, really?" To which she nodded.
"So, this," she pointed towards the building right in front of them, "Is... insanely beautiful. Especially now at night."
-
Once the idol group had gotten back together, the individual sightseeing coming to an end, they decided to try to give their leader a call, reminding themselves of the fact that the time in Korea was 6 a.m., so the chances of him picking up were slim. Explaining, why they were so surprised when Seungcheol did in fact pick up the call, revealing his tired face on the screen of Hoshi's phone.
"Oh, he picked up!" Dino called out, making the girl, who was still in awe of the arena, turn around.
"S.COUPS!" Jun shouted out in glee. Minnie chuckled, watching the screen, seeing how clearly tired the '95 Liner was, assuming they had ripped him out of his sleep and that ungodly hour.
"We came to the Colosseum," Hoshi explained to him.
"Is it fun?" The leader wondered, his voice laced with pure exhaustion and still deeper than usual.
"It would be more fun with you here," the girl smiled, getting a chuckle from him in return.
"Mh, I bet," he sarcastically answered.
The performance unit leader suddenly announced they'd be taking a picture, surprising Cheol over the phone, who did his best to do some kind of pose in his position on the bed. Even with his absence, a group picture with all of them together was necessary.
-
EP1-4. Something Happened in Their House
In groups, the members were ordered to leave the bus and start their seven-minute walk towards their Airbnb. Minnie was in the second group that got to exit the vehicle, along with Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Minghao. As soon as they stepped out and fell into their usual walking tempo, for comfort, the girl looped her right arm with Wonwoo's left - no reaction from him. The group easily fell into a natural conversation, commenting on what was around them, what they passed, and the warm weather they were lucky enough to catch during this time of year.
"I'm not normally sentimental," the '96 Liner from the Hip-Hop-unit suddenly stated. "But it's gonna become sentimental."
The female member nodded. "Because we're on our first real vacation as a group, minus Seungcheol-oppa. And in a really nice city as well." The three men agreed with nods.
-
When they finally arrived at their housing for the night, they got to walk through the apartment in the old building the crew had rented out for the group. Each room had its own charm and the members already knew it wouldn't be easy to choose. But then again, their individually designated rooms often get lost after nights of drinking and playing games, and suddenly four people are sleeping in a two-person bed. So the choices weren't all that important to the singers.
They decided to let faith decide and play a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. The winner would get to choose first, then the second, and so on until each member had a bed assigned to them.
One after the other, the singers walked around until they reached the room they had chosen to sleep in. Dino and Jun had decided on the three-beds room, leaving one still free. That's when Minnie appeared from around the corner to glance inside.
"Ooh," she commented with a smile as she came in. "I don't think we've ever shared a room together in this constellation, right?"
Jun agreed, "Yeah, I don't think so."
"Noona, stay, it's gonna be fun," the maknae, who had already made himself comfortable on one of the beds that had gotten pushed together.
Minnie chuckled, walking in to throw her cardigan and the pouch she had taken from the plane, onto the mattress. "Of course, I'm gonna stay with you guys."
"Yeyy," Dino looked up at the older member, who smiled down at him. He was quick to sit up straight once he noticed she had gotten comfortable on the other bed right next to him. "Do you want to sleep by the window?" The youngest asked her.
"Hm?" Minnie wondered, turning to her right to see the window being closest to her bed. "I don't mind it."
"Okay," he nodded before throwing himself onto the sheets.
-
Minnie and Jun had left their assigned rooms. He had joined the four beds Joshua, Hoshi, Mingyu and Dokyeom-room, engulfed in comfortable conversations as they settled into their housing, while Minnie paid a visit to Jeonghan, Woozi, Wonwoo, and Seunkgwan's room.
The girl was sitting on the bed with the '98 Liner when Na PD surprised them with a visit. "Please wait in the room for five to ten minutes!" He announced as he waltzed in.
"Okay," he got a reply in chorus back.
As soon as he left again, the group started talking.
"His eyes are weird, I keep on saying this," Woozi commented, getting a round of chuckles from the members in return.
"They're spun around," Seungkwan added.
Minnie sighed, "I'm telling you, we still can't trust them. What are we gonna sleep in? We don't have any extra clothes." Her question seemed to get the roommates to thinking, the wheels inside their heads visibly starting to turn.
"Maybe... maybe they'll give us something," the youngest of them answered her with a shrug.
"But we're definitely gonna have to work for them," the '96 Liner stated. "They're not just gonna give us everything."
"Yeah, I don't think so either," the girl agreed, letting herself sink into the mattress.
-
After a few minutes, the members were called to gather in the kitchen. Walking in, they could already see that something had been set up.
"Tax-free?" Minnie wondered out loud as soon as she had entered the room. Joshua, who was already sitting down, turned to where she was looking at - a poster on the wall.
Slightly confused, yet intrigued, the girl took a seat opposite Woozi and next to Jeonghan, waiting for the next steps as the two main songwriters of the group grinned at each other. Both were still carrying only a small amount of trust with them when it came to the program they were filming.
Yeongseok brought in a shopping trolly, that he placed on the table the two were sitting on, revealing it to be filled to the brim and explaining the meaning of it to the group. As they hadn't had time to pack anything, aka the crew didn't let them bring anything other than what they could carry on their body, the producing team would provide them with everything they could possibly need.
Ranging from toiletries to clothing or even electronics, the crew had thought of every single thing. The first thing they presented were T-shirts. But not just any shirts. Custom-made T-shirts for each member. The group gazed at the item of clothing with wide eyes. Every shirt had a different design, fitted to the member whose name was written across the chest. Cherries for S.Coups, dumbells for Woozi, and so on.
Next was underwear. A true essential.
"Hold on," Minnie suddenly stopped. She pointed to a pack of black underwear with a rim she only knew too well. "I have to work for the underwear I model for? I thought I'd get them for free." As they were Calvin Klein underwear the production team had packed for her, the girl was surprised.
"AH!" Seungkwan suddenly shouted out. "You don't have to remind us of that photoshoot!" Getting a round of chuckles from the members in return, and a sarcastic big grin from the girl.
"You're welcome!" To which the '98 Liner only glanced at her in disgust.
"I'm sorry, Minnie-ya," Na PD told her. "But you also had to work to become an ambassador, right?"
With a squint, she glared at the man to her left. "Touché," she mumbled loud enough for the other members to hear, who laughed at the conversation.
The show continued as he presented the rest of the containments of the bag: Kimchi (jongga, of course), dumbells for whoever would want to work out, cup ramyeon, shorts, shampoo, a NANA Tour guidebook, zip lock bags, fans, wet tissues, stir-fried gochujang, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a bag, merch, and even earphones.
Then, last, but most definitely not least, the producer pulled out an envelope, with a quick side-remark.
"Jeonghan-ah, you'll really need this. You're going to cry," he explained. "For all of you, filled with his heart S.Coups' letter." Without missing a beat, the vice leader of the group suddenly erupted in fake tears, his groans echoing through the room. The girl couldn't help but chuckle as she nudged him with her elbow. Once he returned back to his normal state and Na PD sat back, she leaned over to the '95 Liner.
"Cheol told me to choose the letter."
"When?" He looked down at her in slight confusion.
"When we said goodbye to him. He mentioned a letter, but I was so confused about what he meant. But it must be this." Jeonghan nodded, leaning apart again to avoid suspicion from the production crew.
After they were introduced to all of the items, the group was clearly intrigued by what they could get. They knew they could, but how? Well, definitely not for free, of course. Yeongseok explained they would have to play a game, earning item after item with each round they'd win. The game they had decided on was 'Human Zero'. A game Seventeen was somewhat familiar with, but since they hadn't played it in quite a while, the worries were accordingly high.
But as soon as the game started, every fear had made its way out of the window. The group was surprisingly good at the game Na PD had chosen. In each round, the members made the right decision with who decided they should and shouldn't stand up. They were very good. Too good in the producer's opinion. Suspicion rose.
Even when they asked Hoshi what number Yeongseok should shout out next, the idol group stood strong and won another round.
It went as far as that the members even individually promised to stand up, making him almost want to shout out '13!' but if there's one thing Seventeen was flawless at, it would be teamwork - and teamwork only worked amongst the team, individuals outside of the group wouldn't understand.
Even though the idol group won each round unexpectedly, even with repeated attempts to change the game's rules and make it less likely for them to win and to prove they weren't cheating, it was still as entertaining as everyone expected. The entire crew was laughing along with the singers, surprised by the unexpected win after win.
The planned five rounds quickly turned into fifteen with Seventeen winning each round and the production even adding products they could win. But just because it didn't turn out the way the crew had planned, didn't mean it was any less entertaining. If anything, it made it all that much more amusing. It was the living proof that Seventeen talked, slept and breathed a language only they could understand.
"Just take all of this," Na PD sighed in defeat as he pointed to the prices on the table.
With all the interesting things they had earned, there was one thing that was still a mystery to the group and they'd finally get to reveal.
Jeonghan got handed over the letter Seungcheol had written to his members. He opened the envelope and opened the piece of paper, a piece of plastic being the first thing to catch their eyes.
Minnie glanced at it. Her facial expression of confusion quickly changed into surprise as she realised what the '95 Liner had just picked up - Coups' credit card.
"Oh wow..." Jeonghan gasped out loud along with Dokyeom who looked at the letter with wide eyes.
"That's not a letter," the girl commented, leaning in to try and read the words that were written on the piece of paper the card had come in. He read it out loud.
"Thank you for picking my letter. I feel so sorry for you guys going without any preparation. You can use this card however you want. I will be waiting for you well in Korea. You can use this card however you want, okay? Have fun. I love you."
A round of claps and gasps in affection filled the room.
"It really is his personal card," Dokyeom pointed out.
"His personal card?!"
"Woah... he really is the best leader," Minnie commented. A round of heads nodded in agreement.
They decided on Dino to keep the card safe as he was already the manager of the pocket money they had received before their departure.
So after a long day of travels and finally also a game, the group was released.
"Since it's late, hurry up and wash up. Change into these clothes and let's rest well," he dismissed the members.
"Good night," Minnie's voice echoed through the room as some members clapped in appreciation
"Well done, guys."
"Great job."

omg i really loved mingyu’s reputation reading! can you do one for blackpink’s jennie? thank you
jennie's reputation among idols
based on tarot. i do not know these idols personally. energies are always changing. what i say is NOT straight fact. pls take it with a grain of salt!
Tumblr media
male idols wo, quow, 8oc, 10oc+mo, 6op, de, 5op, kiosw
so, getting the world card first is interesting. there is this image of “perfection” she seems to radiate in male idols' eyes. i'm getting this perfect girlfriend material, someone who has it all. a lot of male idols project their own fantasies of what they'd want their girlfriend to be onto her, and can often put her on a pedestal. it's giving a celebrity among idols.
jennie definitely has a strong and powerful presence to many of them, some think it's desirable and attractive, some are one hundred percent intimidated and feel threatened by her success. i said this before in my wonyoung reading, but so many male idols are taken aback when they see a woman going places career-wise, they're still dumbfounded. it rubs them the wrong way, they just don't feel like it's right or that it should be that way. many still carry this engraved belief that women just aren't supposed to overtake men. it feels like an eyesore to them.
although an undeniable level of intimidation is present for most of them, many male idols seem to look at jennie as someone who feels out of place within the kpop industry. this was more of a thing in the past, but they believed she's way too emotional, and is way too much of an easy target. male idols think that jennie was searching for a level of emotional fulfilment in a place that wasn't gonna give her that. they think she didn't fit into a world that's almost exclusively focused on material success and financial gain. i can see this image of her as someone who's way too easily fooled, way too naive. in the industry, there was the reputation of her being someone who just gives gives and gives people everything they want, until she reached this breaking point of “fuck, i'm actually empty inside.” for many male idols, there doesn't seem to be a sense of feeling bad for her. most of them just think it was stupid of her to fall into traps, and allow herself to get used so much, in an industry that is selfish and corrupt and views women as objects beneficial for their own gain.
there is however, an awareness of jennie having become much more tough and hard to approach, after she realized her generous nature was being exploited. she's put her guard up, became much more rational, because she needed to be, and even became a person capable of swiftly manipulating you rather than being manipulated. many male idols think she grew herself a necessary backbone. i can see they probably still talk a lot behind her back, but wouldn't actually muster up the courage to just go up to her anymore.
female idols 2ow&3ow, 3osw, 8osw, kiosw, acosw, 9op, 2osw, knop
female idols think jennie is someone very universally likable and profitable. they think she's an idol who made progress by moving into different directions career-wise, not just remaining stuck in the kpop world. i can feel many being quite envious of her being such a recognisable figure in the entertainment industry in general, and being able to branch out into places they themselves would love to expand to.
there's a common theme, female idols also recognise jennie's more sensitive and vulnerable nature. they believe she used to be someone who got taken advantage of and ran over by people too much. a lot of them think she couldn't find comfort in the kpop industry, and kept feeling trapped because of the restrictive and harsh nature of it. like she kept being forced to stay within this box, when she didn't always agree with the rules that were forced upon her. there's this feeling of suffocation, looking around and not feeling you belong here.
female idols believe that once jennie matured and got a better understanding of how to deal with people in the industry, is when she started blossoming into a more content version of herself. she started being more courageous about stating her opinion and standing by it firmly, being more outspoken about when things aren't according to her liking.
there is a sense of jealousy surrounding the fact that, she even had the chance to develop into more of her “own boss”. a lot of them envy the fact that she's able to be so independent now, and can live her career according to her own rulebook. many of them wish they could have the freedom she's been able to earn. they think she's an idol who's very much in her own world, and only dips her foot into waters when she wishes to. she goes at her own pace, and can allow herself to slow down because of her financial security and the more bearable system she's been able to build for herself. i can hear “you've been able to do what i wish i could.”
note; throughout the entirety of this reading, i kept hearing “scapegoat”, and couldn't fully figure out what that meant. (english is my third language so i didn't even know the word's definition lol) i do think, that many idols see jennie as the member who took everything on the chin. meaning, the public let a lot of their need to hate, their anger or their frustration with blackpink, out on jennie because she was an easy target.

_______________________________________________
Minghao was sitting in the library chilling while listening to music when a bunch of his classmates sat right next to him and tried to to start a conversation with him but like always he was silent and didn’t even make the slightest sound, they groaned before just talking amongst eachother.
“Minghao the teacher wants to see you in her class right now.” There you were. He found you quite interesting to say the least but never talked to you either even though he kinda wanted too.
Minghao nodded before gathering his stuff while he was doing you were about to leave but someone roughly griped onto your hand. “Yah who told you that you can speak to us huh? Are you stupid or what?” They started laughing while you stood there not a care in the world. “If I ever see you talking to my boyfriend I’ll fuck you up bitch.” She threatens while slapping my hand away, before you can say anything minghao walked up to you and did something no one could ever make him do.
He talked.
“___ was it? Do you know who wanted to see me?” The library went silent everyone was shocked as they turned their heads towards you guys. “Oh uh.. it was Ms Clair..” you were to shocked to say a full sentence but still kinda managed. “YAH MINGHAO TALK TO ME YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!” Then all hell broke loose as everyone ran up to him as everyone wanted to hear him again.
You just stood there kinda shocked you were the one to make him talk but snapped out of it when the bell rang so you quickly made your way through the crowd and kinda sprinted to your class, just as you were about to walk into your class a guy and a few girls called out to you. “Hey! Is it true you made minghao talk?” They said as they made their way to you. “Uh I did but he just wanted to know who wanted to talk to him.”
“Well stop talking to him you’re not special just go to class and stop talking to minghao he doesn’t want you nor will he ever ok?” They laughed but was cut off by someone. “___ thanks for the heads up about and Clair she gave me extra credit for my work.” He slightly smiled at you before patting your head.
“Minghao what about me your ACTUAL girlfriend talk to me babyy” this random bitch walked up to him and leaned into his arm as she was about to kiss his cheek but before she could she was thrown off of him but the man himself, he didn’t say anything just walked off as he patted your head one more time. “I’ll see you next period ___.” They were shocked at his reaction before they quickly turned to you. “What the Fuck did you do to him you Whore are you that desperate you had to make him think he likes you.!”
She stood up and was about to hit you but was stopped by one of minghao’s friends. “ minghao wouldn’t be happy if you touch his friend Melanie.” She scoffed as she pulled her hand back from his grip. “I don’t care because he will believe me over any of you guys.! When I beat this bitch up I’ll just say it’s self defence!”
You walked away like nothing happened, as you were walking away mingyu minghao’s friend ran up to you and gave you a little smile. “Are you alright?” You scoffed as you walked into the classroom. “No of course I’m not I nearly got hit by those obsessed weirdos” he slightly chuckled before nodding. “I get it it’s hard to deal with this type of people but don’t worry I got your back!” He gave you the brightest smile before walking away.
You sigh before continuing on with the class, right after class finished you walked out only to bump into minghao. “Oh..hey” you awkwardly said as you brushed yourself off, when you looked at him you were frozen in place this guy was sweating and was shirtless after finishing P.E, you were a stuttering mess before you could make a fool out of yourself even more he chuckled as he patted your head.
“Hey ___ you know you’re really cute when you’re flustered.” You were screaming in the inside oh did I forget to mention you kinda have a little crush on him. You were about to say something but was cut off by a girl pushing you out of the way. “Baby! How was gym? You probably worked so hard.”
She pouted as she was about to hug him but minghao was like flash because before she could even touch him he was by your side in a flash and the girl was on the floor. “Ow babe.! Why did you do that??” She stomped her feet as she stood up, he gave her a blank stare before grabbing onto your wrist and dragged you with him somewhere.
You were shocked but curious where you guys were going. “Uh minghao where are we—WOAH-!” Before you could finished you were pushed into the storage closet. “If you’re going to kill me make it less painful!” You blurted out scared he was going to actually kill you.
He chuckled before gently grabbing onto both your hands and intertwining them with his, you were a hot mess when he leaned down to whisper into your ear. “I really want you ___ so bad right now.” You were already whimpering as your legs started feeling weak.
“Minghao stop I’m-Mmph!” You wanted to say something but he smacked his lips onto yours before you could. “Do you want me too___?” You were blankly staring at him before you slightly nodded.
“Good because I’m gonna show you how much your body means to me Princess.”

HI JADE AHUDJEW I JUST SAW YOUR POST ABOUT SHARING OUR SVT BIAS AND I AM HERRREREEEEEE!!!! (Ok I’ll calm down I’m just always overexcited to talk about them lmao)
So when I first “met” svt Vernon was the first member I noticed bc somehow I always find the weird ones right off the bat hehe and then Wonwoo snuck in there a bit but then as I watched through Going Seventeen I really started to notice Mingyu being so big and tall and dumb (affectionate) but also I noticed how smart he is? And he’s so funny? Like what sealed the deal for me was his confidence using English in one of their videos exploring NY and ultimately in the first 돈’t Lie when he came up with the name… (I’m a words/language person so I find people v v attractive who use multiple languages and when they make jokes using those languages??? I’m gone.) and I also relate to him being the butt of all the jokes (along with Dino) in the friend group so there’s that too 😅 and he very quickly became my ult bias of all time. Like I generally stay pretty level headed as a fan but he gets me going a little delulu at times. I was ranting about him and his latest shenanigans to my sister driving with my boba a couple months ago and I got so worked up I squeezed my boba cup to calm down bc road safety and all that and I spilled my boba all over my lap (and anyone who knows me irl knows you do not mess with my boba).
My bias line besides Gyu has to be DK (human sunshine and also secretly Built), S.Coups (leader and complete alpha vibes but also the cutest softest giggliest fluffy-haired teddy bear), and Joshua (man is CRAZY. He comes across as a sweet lil gentleman but let me tell you he is unhinged… Jeonghan’s other devious half. And his latest promo show with Jun was them playing with children for children’s day and when I say my ovaries exploded……. He’s so natural with them!!) and Hoshi. I don’t even have words for hoshi… like, his tiger agenda is such a Thing and his duality is Insane like he goes from squishy lil ball of hamster to sexy dance god and is equally himself in both forms and I just cannot with him. He cannot hold his liquor and is so driven and talented and Wow.
This absolutely turned into an epistle and I’m so sorry lmao 😂 I’m like a dog with a bone or something when someone brings up seventeen 😅 looking forward to seeing you find who claims you as your bias!! Teehee welcome to caratland!
omg no, i love this. i love hearing/reading people go full tilt about things/people that excite them and this was 🤌🏻
also i died at the spilt boba because last week, i got so physically excited about something that i jumped weirdly in my seat and pulled a muscle in my groin, lmao. unabashedly overexcited girlies RISE!!!!!

let me just say i love you!!
im so happy you spoke on behalf for all curvy/bigger readers because omg same.
i tend to direct my writings sometimes to bigger/taller readers only because it’s always the same “he lifted your tiny fragile body into his muscular one” or, “you wore his shirt that was xxx times too big on your small body” etc,
and there is not hate towards my smaller friends and fellow readers, i love you all! i just love showing the representation for my people (although my writing still leaves room for imagination🤍)
i just feel it’s so important to show other readers and fans that representation of bigger readers 🤍😊
p.s. mingyu got you w one arm and i got the other 😛🤭
omg hi i saw ur rb + reply to tht old post!!
hell yeah im always glad to speak up on curvy/bigger readers!! also i love that u direct ur writing towards taller readers too because i feel like tall readers Also miss out on a lot (i cant relate, personally, bc im jihoon height haha i cannot reach top shelves).
but yeah same!! i absolutely never mean any hate towards people who are smaller, i'd always just appreciate a lil heads up for anything that implies reader is small (mentioning a persons clothes are big on u, esp if said person is a smaller guy) or outright writing a petite reader--like, ppl can write whatever they'd like! i just like having a heads up before i read since it can def mess w me on a bad day (and with people who deal with waaay worse issues regarding body image than i do).
i like having a default where i dont mention readers body type at all since i just dont personally think it matters with 95% of what i write, unless im specifically trying to talk abt my experience as a plus size gal <3 representation is important in all aspects fr tho!!
also hell yeah <3 gyu w his big muscles... he would be So good for piggy back rides i feel it in my soul...

First of all, thank you tessa for coming back and continuing one of the stories that I was really into. Didn't knew I missed your writings so much, so welcome back dear! And also.. pheww, will I ever ready for this angsty ride? 😭😭 but on the other hand I get how JK might feel, I mean this man's wife LEFT not only him but their daughter only few months ago. Lust and attraction is one thing, but diving into a real committed serious relationship after that, yea that man might still have to deal with his ptsd and whatnot. So.. as much as I'm hoping and rooting for him and miss oc to be happily ever after, I GET how this is not an easy thing to deal with for JK.

Hi this is prev anon! Thanks for answering 💜💜 Soonyoung not having anything serious to be annoyed with mc is so endearing ..... Everything that upsets him is just endearing or petty or because he cares about her . :(((((((((
I love the scrunchies around his wrist omg 😭 why is he so in love 😭 he just keeps it as a reminder of her !!!!! He really adores her so much ahhh these two are my OTP !!!!
About the request, it doesn't have to be a fleshed out drabble or anything, although i do miss your writing so much and it would be so great to read some dialogue between my two favorites. I'll be happy with headcanons like you've been doing too ! Whatever you feel like ! even if you don't wanna write it it's fine, because I know what they fight about and stuff! I was thinking about something really serious, or something that starts out small and ends up in a serious argument, because even the best couples have arguments and fights and that just helps them get stronger in their relationship! It would be so refreshing and different to see how that get through a major argument!! Becouse soonyoung is so open , and mc not so much, so that might be an issue when fighting right?!?!
In the end , I'm happy with whatever you choose! Thanks for listening to me 😻💜
hey hey I reread your answer and realized there is much more i want to say uoyipuouop sorry for the spam! what you said about the cold hand things .... i cannot deal with how adorable they are ahhh !!!!! I want to protect these two so much LOLL soonyoung immediately reaching for her hands please thats is SO CUTE !!!! And about mc spreading herself too thin .. that makes sense !! Soonyoung just wants her to let go a little bit. But it could be reverse too! Maybe soonyoung takes lots of stress about being the best at quidditch , just like how he is stressed to perform the best as performance leader! and he can be scary too the members say right??? so maybe he gets snappy and annoyed when he's in the zone, and if mc tries to joke around at that time, he may react badly .... Then one more thing i thought of was , you mentioned soonyooung is insecure before. especially since there was so much push and pull form mc before! If the smallest thing happens , he might need reassurance from mc! but he may not say it out loud , and that an lead to misunderstandings too. Like you said , maybe she brings up mingyu in passing and he would react way too serioulsy ... or she may say no to hanging out with him and his friends a couple times , and he would get worried thinking HOW she can stay away like that? if she liked him she wouldnt spend time apart right???? this goes with what you about soonyoung being more clingy and mc wanting more space ! ahhh okay i think this is all i wanted to say! ehhheee sorry for spamming again !
When you're in love, you're in love !!! What more can I say?!! We all need someone who can adore us the way gryffindor soonyoung adores ravenclaw mc 😔 I love them dearly, and they just live rent free in my head !!! Unfair !!
Ehehe I'll see what I can come up with for the argument (hopefully this weekend!!). I definitely would love to see them interact considering I've been talking about this universe for over a year, and nothing has really rcome to fruition (in terms of a drabble or even a smidgen of a chapter - oops)
Girlies with cold hands 🤝 (And me who refuses to wear gloves because it's an inconvenience T_T). Soonyoung is literally the embodiment of the guy I want :-( I'm projecting everything onto his character because I will never craft a slowburn fic that is as extensive as this universe lol. If I can't find or believe in true love irl, I'll just have to make my own otp 😭
Omg yes yes Soonyoung is definitely hard on himself when it comes to quidditch because he's their star player. Everyone looks up to him, so exceeding their expectations puts a huge burden on him. That's exactly how he is irl !!
DID YOU WATCH THE SUCHWITA EPISODE?? He told yoongi that the tannies always put on such grand performances, and he felt as though he had to push himself just so he could be as good as his idols :-( He's a perfectionist for sure, and he would definitely be the type to overwork himself
If he snapped at mc during a stressful time, she would distance herself and reflect a lot !!! She would have been super pouty because Soonyoung was being unreasonable !!! Why did he have to be so mean? :-( Surely, his words weren't cruel because that's not the kind of guy Soonyoung is. His tone sounded aggravated, and it was unusual because it's very rare that he does that. Besides, it doesn't feel nice when you can sense someone is annoyed with you, right? So mc ends up a little hurt over this
But she still gave him the space he needed. After a day or two, she probably notices that something's missing in her life. She's not used to it being so quiet !! And she doesn't like it !!! She finds herself looking at his empty desk during class or the empty space across her from her at the lunch table
Soonyoung will eventually apologize of course, and he would feel great remorse. He didn't mean to snap at her. She'll give him a piece of her mind because she's never been one to shy away from that. But next time, Soonyoung will think twice before acting the way he did!!
Ahh yeah I did mention that Soonyoung gets insecure because of how their friendship even began!! Besides, unrequited love is a BITCH !!! It really messes with your self esteem for a while. Soonyoung is certainly an overthinker because he has so much time to himself aha. It's the way he lives his life. He's not necessarily concerned with school or his career. It's just him, his closest friends, and the girl of his dreams. (Oh and of course quidditch because Soonyoung is the definition of himbo <3)
He needs a ton of reassurance from mc!!! But at the same time, he doesn't want to seem like the pathetic guy who constantly needs comfort (that sounds harsh, sorry). He wants to present himself as the confident guy that he is. So, Soonyoung would tend to keep quiet, or at least he won't verbalize his insecurities much. You can definitely see the hurt in his demeanor, especially the pout on his lips. His words always sound like he's second guessing himself, and he's hesitant with what he wants to say. But mc is the fiery type, so she has to coax him for a bit
I think their relationship would have been rocky in the beginning because mc isn't the most vocal about her feelings, and she doesn't reassure him that she loves him often. It's typically shown through her actions, but Soonyoung would still really appreciate the verbal validation. So it takes a bit of talking and a bit of practice before they can build it up to a healthier relationship
Of course that's all okay because couples do fight ! And each party will always have their insecurities ! It takes communication to make sure everyone is at the same level. Plus, since they've only ever been friends, they have to learn how to be lovers as well. It's not a quick or easy process. There are always bumps in the road when it comes to these two, but what's important is that they will continue to fight for their relationship at the end of the day

now, to not be so heartfelt and in my feels…
i’m gonna talk about some motherfuckers in svt in the nicest way that i can be explicit.
starting off with the one and only choi seungcheol.
this is one sexy motherfucker. gotdamn. like the way he walks is just so. holy shit. like he commands a room just by the way he walks and oh my jesus christ i’m on my knees for him bro. and his hair. don’t even get me started on his hair. and he’s just a big man. obviously he’s not as big as mingyu, but holy shit. the size of his arms and chest and shoulders and back i can’t even deal. one chance seungcheol. it’s all i need.
now i could keep talking about cheol (and don’t worry one day i will) but there’s this other slut that just always grabs my attention. and that’s none other than mr. kim mingyu.
oof. big oof. big gigantic oof. the things i would do for kim mingyu. that should be the title of my memoir. no but seriously. have you seen him??? in my correct opinion, he is the most attractive man on planet EARTH. like homeboy has it all. good hair. height. great proportions. buff arms. broad shoulders. don’t get me started on his chest and back. nice long legs. and his face. oh my his face. like do you think his parents high five??? because holy shit that man was made by a Woman. had to be. like. i want to kiss him. (i want to do way more than kiss him. if i’m being honest i really want to just please him in any and every way i can.) he’s sexy and he knows it and that is so hot. but like let’s be honest if you looked like *that* you know exactly how you’d wake up feeling every morning.
now finally. yoon jeonghan.
i really. omg. he makes me giggle. the long hair on him. he’s so fucking jesus christ. you know what i mean??? i really don’t have much to say about him right now. solely because whenever i try to think about him my brain literally turns to mush. i can’t form a single sentence and that’s not my fault. oh wow. i want to kiss him on the mouth though i won’t lie to you about that. he’s really the only one i’ve wanted to kiss since the first time i saw him. that’s crazy. it took cheol and mingyu some time before i thought that of them. and it took dokyeom even longer. with jeonghan it was so immediate.
alright. that’s it for now. i’ll prob add on later.
(and one day i’ll even talk about how i’m the most similar to these three. and by similar i mean like looking in a mirror. 👍🏼)

Hi, can I have your opinion on each member dealing with dorm sex, I mean more like what is going on in the morning when other boys tease them about what they heard. 👀
I hope it makes sense 🙈😄
Have a nice day 💎
OMG hi anon hahaha this made the rest of my workday go fast haahaha I hope I understood what you wanted but also disclaimers: this is my first ot13 reaction and I like to think that I’m funny anyways kisses, thanks for sending smth in :3
Also, I fully believe there is 0 privacy between the members (with respect to their s/o ofc) but lol I just love this idea fjskdfjsd but pls let’s face it – they’re pretty much bitchless
Seungcheol
He’s a respectful man – doesn’t really say or do much and acts like nothing happened but everyone knows he’s had a good sex night because he just oozes laid-back, easy-going confidence
Because he’ll be real stressed, snippy, or kinda scattered the night before
But upon waking up, he’s checking himself out in the mirror and smirking, brushing his hair back and definitely in a much more relaxed and better mood
Actually, the members don’t tease or say too much – they prolly call his s/o over when he’s in bad moods so they can have a happy leader in a pleasant mood like it has the same energy of a happy wife, happy life
He’s already a pretty caring and attentive man in general but there’s definitely a different air about him when he’s taking care of his s/o in the morning
Eyeballing and daring all the members to say something so ofc they’re not going to but there is some snorting going on behind his back
He snarks at them for it afterwards
Jeonghan
Coughs a lot – like over ten times more than normal
Not a menace, he’s actually almost subdued but in a good way
*sips tea* there may be reasons why for that but I’ll leave it at that
Prolly has a bowl of those really old cough drops like you know they’re stuck to the wrapper and half melted actually, ew, maybe he sucks on one for a bit to sate the cough and then puts it back in the wrapper omg disgusting but anyways they’re right next to the box of condoms on his nightstand
Also, prolly brews some hot water or tea in the morning
Members make fun of his poor voice condition because dude you’re a vocalist
No one’s laughing when he points out that his s/o doesn’t have a voice either
Actually, they know very well because they were so loud last night and everyone shudders (including the man himself lbr) because Jeonghan’s dirty talk is echoing inside their ear drums
Joshua
Was really shy and awkward about it at first
But now that he’s gained a lot more self-confidence, he’s super annoying
Actually, asks if he was too loud and then smirks at whatever the members’ responses are lmfao and apologizes but it’s SO fake like “Oh, I’m sooooo sorry chew on some ayl-monds as consolation” *smacks him*
Prolly has and enjoys morning shower sex like omfg everyone hopes and prays this man does not have his s/o over when someone has morning schedules
Yeah, just don’t expect to use the bathroom in the morning
Big fan of domestic things so he doesn’t dry his hair like a normal person but makes his s/o dry it for him
And he’s so annoying really like if there aren’t any morning schedules, he will make them use a fluffy towel but if there are – too bad – I mean at least he’ll use a hair dryer but he’s just really obnoxious and has his s/o use a brush too, just really likes self-care
Will steal Mingyu’s cucumbers from the kitchen for prepping his pretty face routine like real corny stuff giggling and all that as he and his s/o put cukes on each other’s faces – rip to gyu’s salad
Jun
Bro he just sleeps the entire day, so the teasing is pretty stale by the time he emerges from his room the next day because someone else kept everyone awake during the night
If he’s miraculously up the next morning, no one really says anything because sometimes they’re not exactly sure if this man just slept well or got fucked good because like he always got that sexy morning look
Actually a freak though wbk
Has accidentally been found in many compromising morning sex positions and places
Except the shower/bathroom because Shua owns that
But like there’s your bedroom Jun – NO that’s boring
Laundry room sex is a must so yeah that’s why no one in the dorms does laundry huh jk
But for real, the hum of the dryer drowns out the moans, the vibrations feel divine, and the detergent sometimes hides the scent of sex but there’s also nothing like fucking on a warm blanket out of the dryer uh and it can go right in the laundry basket after!
Soonyoung
Extra hyper
Man could’ve gotten a half hour of sleep but we all know his stamina is insane hence he’s just like bouncing off the walls
Either really giggly and shy or sleek and suave the morning after
Walks around in the morning in his (clean) tiger print boxers
No shirt so he can display all the marks and scratches from his s/o proudly like badges of honor
Won’t fix his hair either like if his s/o ruffled it all up that’s how it’s gonna be the next day until the stylists force some hair gel and spray on him
Also it’s a nightmare for the poor stylists because he hates covering up his marks and there’s no way he’s gonna stop his s/o from giving him them in fact he just encourages it constantly – love the possessiveness of it all
Shows them off to jihoon who doesn’t give a shit frankly
Has a bunch of selfies with all his marks and def has a ton of his s/o – almost uploaded one to weverse by accident because technology is harder than his dick
Wonwoo
Has that foreboding aura that like no one dares to say a thing but it’s not intentional it’s just him
Not sure if the sounds they were hearing were screams from a horror game or something else – plot twist – both
It’s funny though because the best telltale sign is his glasses
Has them on in the morning because his s/o loves him wearing them but also like it’s better to be blind when you have to see your members in the morning but it’s different because he wants to actually see and appreciate his s/o’s face
Which ends up being even funnier because his glasses have broken multiple occasions because of all of this
Anyways, gyu is the only one able to crack a smile from him by teasing otherwise it’s a simple poker face
But he’s also extremely obvious about it without even meaning to be like gross he throws the condom away in the kitchen garbage for all to see pls wonu, gyu just wants to make breakfast and the boys just want to eat
Jihoon
Listen – jihoon is my favorite man ever because he acts all unbothered but you know he’s absolutely dying of complete embarrassment inside
Absolutely refuses to look anyone in the eye (just like his s/o jk unless…)
Prolly hides in his studio heck he prolly has sex in his studio because it’s soundproofed and all that jazz but also the members might come in so…
Like ofc he locks it and truthfully the most annoying person is prolly soonyoung bc ofc he’s gonna tease his bestie but prolly backs off now that the man is bulked up
BUT ALSO he totally makes the sexciest songs and beats (not necessarily horny related but like just some good stuff, got some good inspiration okay) afterwards so that’s another hint
*shows the leader line a bomb ass track* Cheol: You had sex didn’t you?
Stomps around like a child kind of like he walks very heavily the morning after for no reason but he’s very loud and aggressive as he walks around the dorm and it’s worse if he has flappy shoes on you just hear slap slap down the hallways…
Or is that what that sound is? HM sus
Seokmin
I know a hot take is that he’s really noisy but I feel like yes, that’s what it’s like in the beginning and he definitely gets teased a lot for it
So it ends up varying – it’s either a very loud night out of control or an eerie quiet
It’s so funny because he likes to act like nothing happened but everyone knows cuz he’s so obvious, cracking his jaw and eating air out of nervousness
Extraordinarily jumpy because he’s trying way too hard to be cool but we all know how that falls through and he’s just a sweet little loser
Rare moments he’s pretty cocky and smug in the morning because we also know that man is sculpted by the gods to give his s/o extreme pleasure so like yeah if he can make his s/o cum like over five times (pretty easy lbr) then like of course he should flaunt it
Very clingy the next day like shrinks himself into his s/o and then it’s worse when his s/o leaves because he’s whiny, pouty, and bugging his members all day
He’s also like very moody we all know he’s sensitive and gets in fights all the time and since he usually doesn’t sleep well for obvious reasons he can be very grumpy and cranky
Which is cute only in his s/o’s eyes because he rarely snaps at them
This is why the members don’t tease him as much before as well
Mingyu
In his goddamn element much like Cheol
Unbothered king inside and outside, all the way around
Skin is glowing, his crops are thriving, there’s an absolute spring in his step (unlike his s/o) as he whistles and cooks breakfast for his s/o and maybe for the boys
Shameless, really – like even if the man isn’t having sex he knows how to be a thirsty whore on main and also he loves giving advice, suggestions, and lending his fellow dudes an ear for their sex woes
Look, everyone can make fun of Mingyu for absolutely anything but no one can ever make him embarrassed about having mind-blowing sex okay
SVT is more likely to fluster him by poking fun at his domestic tendencies and how in love he is and then he’ll be all pouty and sulky because love is beautiful! Sex is great! Stop being so bitter!!
Now occasionally on rougher nights or if he’s in his emotional state of puppyhood, no one will see him until the late afternoon (and hear a bunch of things if he’s feeling spicy)
Otherwise, it’s gyu’s world and we’re just living in it
Def cooks with only an apron on and everyone except his s/o avoids looking at that
Minghao
Cool as a cucumber because I like to believe Hao’s into kinkier things and stuff so sex is really something he is extremely meticulous about
So it’s hard to like really tease him because he’s almost uppity about it
He’s actually really flustered on the inside because you know after that haze of lust passes it can be a bit embarrassing
But unlike the others, he’s good at masking his emotions that’s why he’s good at the kinky stuff he does ayo
Also really chill with his s/o as well like they’re just buddies almost but he does tenderly kiss and hug them but it’s kind of ironic because he acts as if he didn’t have them tied up and begging for him or like erotic oils dripping down their thighs – you get the message
I think it’s because he’s really thorough in his after care so day-to-day dynamics are very much laid back because too much intensity is not good
Lowkey there’s that one time Seungkwan was scarred for life when he casually said he liked the scent of whatever candle his friend was burning and then choked when Hao pulled out a dick-shaped candle like I can’t even lmfao
Seungkwan
Poor bby flustered as hell
Prolly ushers his s/o out the door and tries to escape back to his room
More than likely does a whole bunch of breathing exercises before getting ready to face the members
But they’re kinda soft on him like only Soonyoung might poke some fun but he knows it’s a touchy topic so he usually lets it go because there are much better things to make fun of boo for
But that’s kinda worse
Because mingyu is just like straightforward – how was the sex last night bestie? and Seungkwan chokes on his corn flakes and then everyone’s panicking until Cheol remembers the Heimlich maneuver exists
It’s worse when his s/o does stay for brekky because it’s just. Silence. And he’s making that cute face when he’s about to burst into tears or laughter esp when gyu serves his s/o a nice, big breakfast sausage
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been, he’s just a shy guy and it’s super endearing for all involved
Vernon
He’s just some chill guy okay
Has his earbuds in – can’t hear the haters
No one really knows if he’s listening to anything – maybe it’s audio porn from last night? Who knows?
Vernon? Vernon? Oh god he can’t hear me, he got his headphones on
Anyways yeah I feel like he’s just really easygoing about everything like it’s a “you” problem if you’re gonna make a comment pls seek free sex therapy with mingyu
He’s just really thankful to be in a happy and healthy relationship with great sex like what more can this guy ask for
A cat maybe
Luckily his s/o has like five cats so he’s usually over there instead it’s pretty rare to have sex in the dorms because you can’t leave the cats by themselves over night!
He’s not a heathen obviously
Only in bed though heh
But hey – cats don’t care how loud you’re being and they also don’t make fun of you (verbally bc they’re eyeing you judgmentally) but yeah long live s/o with their own place
Also likes to have sex with a thot playlist blaring so it all works out
Chan
Mr Loser ™
Oh god they’re gonna make so much fun of him no matter how many times he’s had sex
Of course the first time, they’re making him a crummy “congrats on the sex” cake because they’re insufferable
It’s why he rarely does it in the beginning lbr
But you know, once he starts bulking up and feeling himself he’s kind of insufferable too
Because he likes to act like he’s hot stuff
Walks around the dorm w/ his s/o in the morning flexing his arms and shit for no reason????
Like it makes his s/o giggle and sparkly-eye him but the members just groan in cringe
Sometimes he gets mad because they’re all like “pls let us know if you can’t handle him” and one time he mistook gyu flirting with his s/o and was like I’ll fight you and seriously gyu was just vibing and offering some kinky sex suggestions lmfao

[SVT Imprinted] Junhui/Minghao: Sharing Is Caring (Spin-off)
Anonymous asked: OMG could you do a jun and minghao threesome for the imprinted series?? one in which they get possessive over the reader ? but like not too much but just a little like not a lot but just enough thankyouiloveyoubye
Tumblr media
Characters: Junhui x female reader x Minghao
Genre/warnings: werewolf au, college-ish au (they’re in college and it mentions studying that has to count, right?), literally just smut (threesome, anal, mostly dom-ish!junhao, sorta jealousy sex, marking) some fluff n angst, not proof read bc i wrote this like 1+ years ago and i hate reading my own smut lmao, if i missed anything pls lmk
Word count: 5,558
Summary: Everyone knew it would happen eventually, but you really never were prepared for dealing with mating season with both of your mates at the same time.

Imprinted Masterlist
Mating season was something you kept track of on your phone’s calendar. You had two mates and had to plan accordingly, but sometimes the dates would shift. That always made it a bitch because you were nervous for the time that your mates’ cycles would match up with each other, and then you’d be in for a tiring week – an interesting one, but definitely tiring.
But this one time, their behavior was a dead giveaway for their time of the month. You were trying to study for midterms, but the two of them were actually bickering over you. One was stuck to one side of you while the other was clinging to the opposite side, and they were swatting each other’s hands away while giving low warning growls. They’d never fought over you before, so you knew it was a sign.
“Stop,” you finally snapped looking up from your textbooks. “Are you two going to act like this all week?”
Minghao looked slightly frightened by your sudden outburst – you’d never snapped at them since you had fought with Jun at the party your relationship started at – but Junhui didn’t back down, which was what usually happened.
“How did you know it was that time?” he quizzed.
“Since when do you two growl at each other when the other touches me?” you asked.
To that, Jun didn’t have an answer, so he just huffed, “_____--”
“No, I’m not dealing with it,” you stated. “If you can’t get along, I’ll just have Seungcheol put the two of you in the basement. I have midterms to study for and neither of you are helping.”
“Please don’t, _____,” Minghao frowned, hugging you tighter. “We’ll behave.”
However, Junhui did the opposite of what Minghao promised, and snarled at him as the younger wolf pulled you closer. You groaned and stood up, stomping to the kitchen where you knew at least somebody from the pack would be. You saw Mingyu, Bomi, Eunmi, Kira, Joshua, Seokmin, and Yerin. All of them looked at you when you entered, since your footsteps were loud from your frustration.
“Can somebody take Jun and Minghao to--”
“No!” Minghao whined as he got up to follow you.
But Junhui yanked him back down and tried to get up himself, wanting to get to you first. Minghao grabbed the older wolf’s leg and pulled him back down, thus, resulting in a fight breaking out between the two of them.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Joshua sighed, standing up from his chair as he heard the loud noise and the snarling. He went to the living room with the group from the kitchen following behind him. “Hey, break it up!”
Eunmi held you toward the back of the group, worried them seeing you would make the fighting worse.
Seungcheol raced down the stairs when he heard the commotion, and the other mates and wolves wandered out to see what was happening. You were completely embarrassed that your two mates had caused a scene like this.
It took a few of the wolves to break your mates up, but they managed. Then Seungcheol searched for you, wanting to know what happened. He looked angry, but you knew it was at your mates, not you.
“They’re about to start mating season,” you told him.
At that information, most of the pack struggled to hide their snickers, smirks, and giggles. Seungcheol’s eyes widened, not just worried for the two wolves who would probably get aggressive toward each other since wolves were territorial over their mates, but because their sexual needs would be increased, and that need would be aimed toward you.
“Both of them?” he gasped.
You nodded, “They’ve been arguing with each other over me all day. I told them if they couldn’t get along, they should go to the basement.”
“Do we have enough restraints for that?” Soonyoung muttered, looking around for an answer.
“Minghao’s usually good about controlling himself,” Seungcheol noted. “Although, since he’s feeling extra territorial because of Junhui, he might come find _____, and that’s not fair to Jun for only one of them to be around her.”
“I have some sturdy handcuffs,” Aya said, raising her hand.
The pack all looked at the small female wolf, but her expression didn’t falter, and she didn’t blush.
“Uh, what do you need handcuffs for...?” Seokmin wondered, seeming to be the only one who didn’t understand.
Even innocent and quiet little Yerin was blushing and hiding her face in Seokmin’s chest.
Now, Aya finally smirked and looked up at the younger wolf, “For fun.”
The alpha sighed, shaking his head, “I think we’ll just chain one wrist each to the bed. It’s unfair to completely restrain one and not the other.”
“Won’t they be too close to each other? What if they get too angry?” you asked worriedly, not wanting your mates to get hurt.
“Don’t worry,” Seungcheol reassured you with a sure smile, “we’d never let them get hurt.”
Thus, your two mates were dragged to "the cage” until they either calmed down or worked out their problems. You just watched, trying to ignore the puppy dog eyes and the whines they emitted before they were brought through the door and down the stairs.
-
It was surprisingly quiet ever since they’d gotten put in the basement, and you were getting curious as to what was going on down there. It was clear you were getting worried, so a few of the girls tried to keep your mind off of it by talking with you once you were done with your studying.
“Do you think I was too hard on them?” you wondered.
“Definitely not,” Faye reassured you. She had been mated the longest, so you trusted her. “Bomi said Hao put Jun in a headlock.”
“Doesn’t that mean they’ll just keep fighting if they’re in the basement together?” you quizzed, growing more and more worried.
“Everything will be okay,” Aya promised. “If it really does bother you, you should go talk to them and see if they’re okay.”
“Just know,” Eunmi began, “that once you’re down there, we’re not helping you.”
Bomi made a face, “Yeah, you’re on your own after that.”
“But let us know how it goes!” Rini grinned.
You sighed and stood from the couch, the girls’ words giving you mixed feelings as you walked to the basement door. Even once you were descending the stairs, the basement was quiet. You rounded the corner, but saw Minghao poking his head out from the bedroom door. It made you jump, as you expected him to be chained up.
“Jesus Christ, Jun!” you gasped, holding a hand to your heart.
“_____?” he stepped out of the room fully, cocking his head to one side. His skin looked flushed, but he was acting oddly normal. Though, you did notice his hands were shaking. “What’re you doing down here?”
“What are you doing not chained up?” you asked.
Minghao appeared then, chuckling softly, “Chan forgot to take the key. It’s actually a good thing you came down.”
“…Why?” you quizzed, though you were slowly starting to feel hotter under the gaze of both of your mates. The feeling of the air wasn’t exactly calm despite their demeanor.
Minghao walked up to you, brushing your hair back, “We wanted to apologize. We acted poorly, and we’re sorry for fighting. Right, Junhui?”
“Yeah,” Jun nodded, swallowing thickly as he went to stand behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder – you tried to ignore the fact you could feel his growing erection on your backside but that was difficult, “we’re really sorry, baby. We promise we won’t fight anymore.”
And true to their word, Minghao did eye the older wolf, but didn’t growl or snarl at him. Instead, he traced your jaw with his index finger, smiling a little too innocently.
“We actually decided,” he began quietly, his golden eyes starting to get red flecks in them, “we should be capable of sharing you this week. That is, if you’re okay with it.”
You nodded slowly, unable to deny your mates when they needed the help – plus, you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t fantasized about having both of your mates at the same time. Honestly, you always wanted to suggest a threesome with them, but you knew the two boys could be a little territorial sometimes, and you were afraid of making them uncomfortable.
Jun’s already-red eyes looked up at the younger wolf, “Does that mean it’s okay?”
Minghao chuckled, “I told him to act calm when you came down. Junhui’s actually dying to have you touch him.”
Jun nodded quickly burying his face in your shoulder as his arms tightened around you, “Please tell us we can have you,” he whined.
“We,” Minghao corrected sharply, his upper lip curling back a bit in a silent snarl.
Minghao complained in Mandarin to Junhui, who just rolled his eyes and replied harshly in the same tongue. You didn’t know many words in that language, but you knew Jun was begging for something from the way he said, “please”.
Minghao’s eyes landed on you, taking your hands in both of his while Junhui continued to keep your back flush to his front, “He wants to know if we can mark you since we can do it at the same time.”
You ignored Jun muttering something about calling dibs because your heart rate picked up, and butterflies erupted in your stomach. You simply nodded, “Y-yeah. How bad will it hurt?”
“It won’t,” Minghao was quick to promise, already starting to press soft kisses on the skin of your neck. “We’ll make sure of it.”
“You won’t feel a thing…” Jun smirked as he cupped your cheek and brought your lips to his.
The kiss started out soft but passionate, Junhui’s warm lips moving with yours expertly, while Minghao continued to work on your neck, sucking and nibbling on the spots he had learned you reacted to best. You gasped softly when Minghao’s teeth scraped against a particularly sensitive spot with a healing love bite, so Jun took the opportunity to deepen the kiss.
You slowly felt yourself being both pushed and pulled backwards toward the bedroom where the two wolves were supposed to be locked up. Jun pulled away when you got to the doorway and let Minghao spin you around to kiss him instead, while Jun closed the door and took his shirt off.
Minghao held your waist, purring as soon as your lips met his. You knew between the two of him, he was the more composed one, but his member already hard and fully erect in the uncomfortable confines of his jeans. You could feel it pressing against your thigh, so you let your hands trail to the button of his pants and push them down.
Behind you, Jun played with the hem of your shirt, starting to slide it up as his fingertips ran over your skin, leaving goosebumps in their wake. You pulled away from Minghao to lift your arms, the younger wolf shoving his jeans off quickly. While he did that, Junhui gripped your chin lightly, smirking when you met his gaze with a gasp.
“Did I startle you?” he chuckled, his voice low and soft before he pressed his lips to yours in a lingering kiss.
You felt your shorts being tugged down, and you didn’t know if it was Minghao or Jun’s doing, but you didn’t really care either way. You gasped again, a shiver going down your spine as you felt wet, open-mouthed kisses trailing down your stomach as Minghao’s hands rested on your hips and rubbed small circles into your warm skin with his thumbs.
“I need you…” he mumbled, his tone bordering a whine. “It really hurts, _____.”
You pulled away from Jun, but he just gripped your waist tighter, “Why does he get you first?”
You frowned at him, your hands resting on his, “You promised you’d be nice.”
He huffed in annoyance because he didn’t want to share anymore, but he didn’t want you to leave, either. Instead of replying, he spun you to face the bed before he slipped your panties off and let you step out of them when they dropped around your ankles.
“Lay on your stomach for me, then,” he told you, pointing to the bed. “Put your head by the edge.”
You weren’t sure why he was so specific about your position, but did so without complaint. Minghao seemed to catch on pretty quickly, though, when he watched Jun lay on his stomach between your legs.
Minghao stood in front of you, his hands softly running through your hair as you glanced up at him before your hands went to his boxers, tracing the outline of his erection. He groaned quietly at the feeling, begging you to do more.
As you hooked your fingers in the waistband of his boxers, you felt Junhui’s index finger slide from your slit to your clit, humming softly to himself. “You smell amazing, baby.”
You bit your lip, pulling Minghao’s boxer’s off and letting his erection spring free. It had already stained his boxers with precum, and it looked red and painful. He let out a soft whine as you gathered up his precum with your hand and began stroking up and down his length.
Then you gasped, feeling Jun’s tongue traveling the same path that his finger had. He groaned softly in approval, “You taste even better, though.”
He slid a slender finger into your heat experimentally, though you could easily tell he was holding back from the low growl you heard in his chest. Minghao, however, didn’t have the best self control now that he was so close to getting what he wanted, and whined again to get your attention, guiding your mouth to his cock.
You opened your mouth wordlessly, looking up at Minghao with wide eyes as he slid his hard member into your warm, wet mouth. His head dropped back as he let out a broken moan, pushing until the tip hit the back of your throat and you gagged softly.
Jun’s arms slid under your thighs, his hands resting on the back of them. His fingertips stroked your skin softly as his tongue went in and out of you. You did your best to move your hips against his face, wanting more friction as you let out soft moans and mewls. The vibrations from the beautiful noises you were making made Minghao’s knees weak. Every little thing he felt was magnetized from mating season, and he was already so close to cumming then and there. Just the innocent look in your eyes was enough to send him off the edge, but he managed to hang out a little longer, closing his eyes and rocking his hips.
Jun pushed himself to sit up, taking off his own jeans and boxers before going to sit in the middle of the bed beside you. He moved one hand back down to your center, putting two fingers in this time and pumping them steadily. You felt him grab one of your hands, and he brought it to his own hardened member, wanting a release now too. You complied easily, using your forearm to hold you up while you continued to bob your head in time with Minghao’s thrusts.
Your hand went to work pumping Junhui with the precum that had leaked out of his tip, the knot in your lower abdomen building just from hearing the moans of your mates mixed together.
“God, you look so pretty like this…” Minghao hissed as you hollowed your cheeks.
Jun hummed in agreement, watching you though hooded eyes, “You’ll look even prettier when you’re completely fucked out from both of us, though, baby.”
Just his lowly spoken words had you moaning around your mate’s length. Jun curled his fingers and picked up the pace in turn, watching you take Minghao’s cock without complaint. It turned him on a lot more than he thought it would, but it also fueled his territorial side, and he was subconsciously moving his fingers faster and more roughly into you because of his growing jealousy.
You arched your back as your eyes squeezed shut, trying to focus on just Minghao, but it was hard. You took him out of your mouth to avoid possibly biting down on his length, taking your lip between your teeth as you whined loudly, “Junhui!”
Your orgasm hit hard and without warning, his fingers hitting the spot that made your toes curl, and made you see stars. Seeing you come undone in front of him was enough to send Minghao over as well, your high moans drowning out his low whine as warm streams of white hit your face. Jun groaned lowly seeing your face covered in cum, the groan also hiding a low growl that rumbled in his chest seeing somebody that wasn’t him make a mess of your face like that.
“I hope you don’t think we’re done just yet, darling,” Junhui said, his voice like velvet when he spoke. He helped you sit up on your hands and knees, shifting you to face him as he sat on his knees. “I didn’t get to cum yet.”
As you tried to compose yourself enough to help Jun, Minghao grabbed somebody’s shirt off the floor and cleaned your face off as best as he could with it. You could see from where you were that his erection hadn’t softened at all, and you knew that this whole thing was far from over.
Jun let you take your time getting yourself together, but Minghao was needy and impatient. He was already kneeling behind you and running his large hands over your ass, taking in the dip of your spine and the way your hair fell over your shoulder.
He teased your entrance with his tip, one hand running down your back, “Can I?”
You were definitely tired already – you didn’t know how since you felt like you hardly did anything – but you knew you could take more, “Y-Yeah.”
You heard the elated grumble in his chest before he slowly pushed into you, making you whine from the sensitivity from your previous orgasm.
“Fuck, you’re so wet…” he commented lowly as he pressed himself all the way inside you.
You decided you were finally ready to help Jun with his problem, so you opened your mouth and looked up at him.
You were surprised to see that he was looking at you warmly despite his previous actions, “Are you sure you’re all good?”
You nodded, so Jun slowly slid his cock into your mouth, taking his bottom lip between his teeth as one hand went to your hair. He played softly with the strands, trying to do most of the moving for you by thrusting his hips so you wouldn’t overdo it and tire yourself out too quickly – he knew both him and Minghao were going to be hit hard this month, and the last thing he wanted to do was having you pass out from exhaustion.
He sucked in a breath between his teeth when you chased his hips as they pulled away, wanting to deepthroat him like you had Minghao because you were actually enjoying this as much as they were. He kept his hips still, letting you decide what was okay for you, and just closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling of your lips wrapped around him.
“You’re doing so good for us, princess,” Minghao cooed, fingertips digging onto your skin.
Junhui only moaned in agreement as his fingers tangled in your hair.
Minghao reached around with one hand to your clit, rubbing small, slow circles which contrasted the way his hips snapped into yours with such an intensity. You lurched forward every time and almost gagged on Jun.
You couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like if Jun wasn’t holding back, and you could tell he was from the way his muscles strained and twitched that he wanted to find out as well. But if you knew anything about your older mate during mating season, it was that he usually got more intense after cumming the first time, which was why you typically didn’t allow him to fuck you until after his first orgasm, but that rule was already gone out with window with Minghao quickly draining your energy.
You let out a high moan around Jun’s length as Minghao thrust inside you, brushing your sensitive spot. The younger boy smirked, licking his lips hearing such a pretty noise from you, “Right there?”
You nodded, squeezing your eyes shut as Minghao angled himself to continuously hit that spot, wanting to make you cum again. Junhui lightly pulled on your hair, growling softly, “Look at me when you cum, _____.”
You forced your eyes open, tears threatening to fill them. You could see Jun’s fangs elongating passed his bottom lip as he panted and thrusted into your mouth. His fingers released your hair, the pads of his digits massaging your scalp as Minghao tried to bring you to your orgasm faster than he was getting to his own.
As the speed of Minghao’s fingers picked up and pressed harder into your clit, you struggled to look up at your other mate, quickly being thrown into your second orgasm. Your limbs shook as they struggled to keep you up, every mewl and moan you made getting muffled by Jun’s cock in your mouth.
Jun let out a moan, eyeing you like a predator looking at it’s prey, “Fuck, you’re so beautiful.”
With that, his length twitched in your mouth and he released down your throat. You continued to bob your head with whatever strength you had left in you, milking him for everything he had as Minghao continued to work you through your orgasm until you were whimpering and and twitching from sensitivity.
Jun pulled out of your mouth, biting his lip as he watched the trail of saliva that connected your pretty lips to his length that was still hard, “C’mon love, you can handle one more, can’t you?”
Despite the fact your eyelids were drooping, and you knew you couldn’t hold yourself up anymore, you also knew both of your mates were still needy and in need of another release. You nodded as Jun brushed your sweaty hair out of your face, a perfect smirk gracing his features.
“Such a good girl,” Minghao hummed appreciatively before he turned to look through the nightstand.
He knew most of the pack usually ended up leaving some of their items in the basement, and he figured nobody would notice if they borrowed one thing in particular. He came up with a purple tube and tossed it over to Jun, who caught it easily. The older wolf quirked a brow at he read the label.
“Hm, so this is how we’re doing it?” he wondered, looking at the bottle of lube.
Minghao smirked, “Relax, she’s done it before.”
Jun seemed surprised, but he should’ve assumed. He never tried anything like that because he never knew if you were into it. Clearly, he needed to communicate with your other mate a lot more.
Minghao looked back at your form that struggled to keep itself up. He lowered your head down, stroking your hair comfortingly, “You’re doing so well for us, _____. Just relax for a bit, okay? You know what to do. If you need to stop, say something. Do you understand?”
You nodded, sucking in a breath when the cool liquid hit your hole. Jun spread it around with a finger before coating his digits in the lube as well. He eyed the younger wolf, trying not to let his jealousy get the best of him as it had before. He didn’t have an outlet for his frustration just yet, and the last thing he wanted to do was rip you away from your other mate, and upset you. Instead, he tried to focus on you, and the way your breath came out in puffs as you tried to steady it. Your hair kept sliding into your face, and Minghao kept stroking it back and soothing you as Junhui slid a finger experimentally into you.
You whined softly, but both of them could tell it was one of pleasure and not pain. You relaxed your muscles, having done this before with Minghao, but everything was so sensitive after cumming two times beforehand that you weren’t sure you could handle this. Then again, you were trying a lot of new things today, so why not this?
Slowly, Jun added another finger when he decided you were stretched out enough. Then another, and another until Minghao told him you’d be okay for the real thing.
“Alright, sweetheart,” Jun smiled as he lifted your body up. Minghao sat by the headboard, his back propped up against it before he coated his length in the cool lube, “just tell us if you need to stop.”
From the soft whimper that came from the younger wolf, you knew he was hoping you wouldn’t tell them to stop. But you could also tell from the look in Junhui’s red eyes that he wouldn’t want that, either.
Jun had you straddling Minghao’s lap backwards so you were facing him instead. With you set up on your weak knees, Minghao aligned himself with your hole before both mates helped you lower yourself steadily down on Minghao. You mewled at the feeling, your eyes completely closing as your head lolled back.
“Oh, fuck…” Minghao hissed, his nails digging into your hips as his fangs poked his bottom lip. “You’re so tight, _____.”
Jun teased your entrance with his cock, looking at you for any signs of discomfort as he slowly slid in. You gasped, your hands flying to Junhui’s shoulders just to have something to hold onto. He moved slowly until both mates were completely inside you. It was a new feeling taking them both at the same time, but you couldn’t say you didn’t love it.
You nodded weakly when you were okay for them to move, and the two of them moved in and out of you expertly, timing their thrusts as if they could read each others minds. Both sets of hands on your hips and waist helped you move your hips since your legs felt like jelly, but you still tried your best to do it on your own.
A growl ripped through Minghao’s chest, vibrating into your back as his second orgasm approached. You felt his fangs graze against your right shoulder, but Jun grumbled in warning, glaring behind you at the younger one.
“Not…yet…” he huffed between thrusts, his hips snapping into yours roughly from his jealousy.
Minghao was letting his territorial instincts get the better of him as well, thrusting up harshly to meet you with every bounce. Tears began spilling out over your eyes as your head dropped forward, resting on Jun’s shoulder. You whimpered and cried out, but it was all purely from the excessive pleasure you were feeling from feeling so full. Again, it was a struggle to keep your eyes open, but you tried to clear your foggy head by focusing on getting your mates to their release.
“Look how well you take us at the same time, baby,” Jun growled lowly in your ear, one hand sliding down to your clit and rubbing small, quick circles into the bundle of nerves.
You bit down on his shoulder, causing a snarl to rip through his chest that was drowned out by your cries.
“You love this, don’t you?” Minghao spoke up, his voice a deep rumble as well. “You love having both of us at the same time, huh? We know you’ve thought about it.”
You whimpered loudly, their words about to push you right over the edge. They felt you clench around them, signaling your release. Junhui gripped your hair and made you sit up, his eyes staring intensely into yours.
“You can’t cum just yet, baby…” Jun smirked.
Tears streaked down your cheeks as you looked up at him helplessly, “J-Jun, I… I-I can’t…”
“Yes you can,” he told you, wiping the moisture from your face with his hand that was on your waist. “Just a little longer.”
You brought one hand away from Jun’s shoulder, putting it over one of Minghao’s large hands. The hand still on Jun gripped him tightly, your nails digging into his skin as Minghao caught your fingers between his own, squeezing tightly.
“Hao, please…” you begged, hoping he would tell you it was okay.
The younger wolf let out a high pitched groan, “I-I’m close, too.”
Jun stared almost angrily at Minghao, sharply thrusting into you and hitting the spot that made fireworks explode behind your eyes, “Cum for us, princess. You’ve been so good for us.”
You let go, your orgasm hitting you harder than you’ve ever felt. Just as you were about to be taken over by it, you felt something sharp in both shoulders, almost at the exact same time, along with both of your mates releasing inside you. You screamed and whimpered, unable to form any actual words as a new, harder wave of pleasure washed over you.
And that was all you could remember.
-
You felt something cold on your forehead while somebody ran their fingers through your hair, and up and down your stomach. Then the soreness all over your body hit you, and you groaned softly. Both hands stopped at the noise.
“_____?” Minghao’s voice was quiet as he lifted his hand from your stomach to stroke your cheek. “Are you awake?”
You rubbed your eyes before opening them, and you saw you were still in the bedroom in the basement. Minghao was laying down with his head near your stomach, looking up at your worriedly. You recognized the pillow you had your head on to actually be Junhui’s chest.
“What happened?” you croaked, your voice completely gone from the events that took place.
“We pushed you too far,” Jun sighed, sounding like he felt bad for exerting you so much. “Are you okay?”
The memories flooded back into your head, and you tilted your head – the damp cloth placed on your forehead falling to Jun’s chest – to look up at your frowning mate, “Yeah, I’m just sore. What do you mean you pushed me too far?”
“Love…you passed out,” Minghao said.
Jun’s voice was now small, like he was afraid, “We thought we broke you.”
You chuckled softly, reaching for Jun’s hand and lacing your fingers between his, “I’m okay, babe, I promise.”
“We shouldn’t have asked so much from you,” Minghao said, sounding angry with himself. “Both of us started letting the jealousy get the best of us, and we took it out on you.”
“You still held back a lot,” you noticed, reaching down with your other hand to run your fingers through Minghao’s messy hair. “Trust me, I’m okay.”
Jun just mumbled grumpily in Mandarin, making Minghao scoff, “She can’t go into a coma from that. …Right?”
You laughed, closing your eyes, “It doesn’t matter because it didn’t happen. All that matters is that I’m marked by both of my mates, who I love very much.”
That comment seemed to make them both brighten, as Minghao smiled adoringly at you, and you heard Junhui purr in his chest beneath you. The older wolf pressed his lips to the top of your head, while Minghao scooted up your body to kiss your cheek.
“They’ll be a little sore for the next few days, so be careful,” Minghao informed you.
“Her whole body will be sore,” Jun snorted. “We are sorry.”
“Stop saying sorry,” you told him playfully. “Does this mean you won’t want to do it again?”
“I…kinda liked it,” Minghao shrugged. “If I can be completely honest, there was something hot about seeing you and Jun...”
Jun scoffed, “This is no longer a safe space; keep that to yourself, Hao.”
You giggled, covering your reddening face, “If you two end up fucking each other--”
“Not happening,” Jun stated. “Although, Hao has a point. It really made me jealous, but…I can handle it as long as it’s just Minghao. Now, if you tried to ask me about adding anybody else into this mess, I’d kill them.”
As Jun placed the cloth back on your forehead, you looked up at the ceiling, considering your next words, “...What about one of the girls?”
Jun groaned, “Can you focus on resting?”
“Is that a maybe?” you asked with a quiet laugh.
“It’s a ‘go back to sleep, _____’,” Minghao huffed, hugging you tighter to him.
Minghao laid his head on your stomach, wrapping his arms around your waist, and purring as you played with his hair. Jun smiled fondly down at you, unable to help how happy it made him to see you love them both so much – and equally – without a problem. Minghao looked up and saw Jun press a kiss to your temple, making you grin. He smiled, knowing you’d always love them both, and you’d never stop.
Both of them loved you, and wouldn’t change anything about their situation.

sixteen.
“I had a dream last night,” Seokmin tells you.
You hum and open your eyes just enough to look over at him, resting on your elbows in the grass. He’s lying down fully, face dotted with the harsh light of the summer’s afternoon sun. You were supposed to have a picnic today, but it really just ended up being too-expensive ice cream and sitting under one of the only trees in the park because it’s so hot. “What was it about?” You ask.
Seokmin looks back at you, moves so one of his arms supports his head. “Ah, really,” he starts. The tips of his ears are red; from the sun or from something else, you’re not sure. “About you, honestly.”
“Oh, I’m honored,” you respond. Seokmin giggles and you laugh with him, ask him why the dream was about you, what you were doing. It doesn’t really surprise you that he dreamed about you - you’ve been friends for years, it’d be weird if the two of you never dreamt about each other.
“It was so weird,” he says with an equally weird face, and you raise an eyebrow at him. “We were in this field or something, and you were, like, miles away from me, but I could still see you clearly. We were facing each other even when we were so far away, and you had an apple on your head.”
Seokmin sits up as you give him a confused look and he holds his hand up as if to tell you to wait, it gets weirder.
“Suddenly I have a bow and arrow in my hand. And I take the arrow and I shoot it at you, at the apple. It’s a clear shot,” he holds his arm completely straight in front of him, finger pointing at you. “I know I’m gonna hit it, even when you’re so far away. But then this entire forest just emerges from the ground, and then I’m thinking I won’t hit you at all. I won’t even come close.”
You do a poor job at hiding the amused smile on your face when Seokmin’s so serious about this. “Okay,” you say, a sign of moderate encouragement. His eyes are bright when he looks at you.
“But I just know that I hit you,” he says.
“Dream logic,” you add thoughtfully.
“Yes.” He leans back on one of his hands, the other shielding his eyes from a line of sun that breaks through the leaves. “The arrow swerves through all the trees, dodges everything, somehow, and hits the apple. And then it’s like I blink and we’re not so far apart anymore, we’re standing right in front of each other.”
A couple of kids running after a frisbee laugh and you wonder if Seokmin’s dream happened here. The park’s certainly large enough. If you think about it, you can almost picture the two of you on opposite sides.
“You’ve got the apple in your hands, you’re getting the juice all over the place, but then I look at you, and you smile at me. And then I woke up.”
There’s a second of barely-quiet, a breeze rustling the leaves of the tree and cooling you for just a moment. You nod like you’re thinking, considering his dream, and then say, “yeah, dream you was definitely trying to kill me.”
“Hey! We don’t know that!”
“Oh, come on! You shot the arrow at me, you hit the apple by luck, and the reason I was smiling at the end was because I was still alive!”
Seokmin grumbles before ripping out a handful of grass from the ground and throwing it at you, laughing together as you fall to the ground dramatically, clutching your shirt where blades of grass linger.
If the dream has any meaning, you don’t remember it.

eighteen.
High school comes and goes and before long it’s the end of your senior year, a world you’re still unfamiliar with waiting for you. It makes you a little emotional, felt in your chest and through the late-spring breeze, like your heart knows everything you consider familiar will soon become a fond memory.
You and Seokmin have had to same plan for years.
“Weird to think that in a year we’ll be finishing our first year of college,” he says one day during a free period. You’re both sitting outside, enjoying a post-lunch snack of boba tea and muffins from your favorite restaurant (courtesy of you having your driver’s license and Seokmin offering to pay). You nod, taking a sip of your drink.
“In a different country,” you add.
And, well. Neither of you have received your acceptance letters yet, but Seokmin is Seokmin, and you’re not worried about him. Any performing arts college would be lucky to have him, even if it happens to be half a world away. You know he’ll get in, it’s just a matter of time. You applied for a general college in the same city - a little easier for you, but still with him. The two of you had gathered up in his room months ago to fill out your separate applications and send them at the same time like it might make a difference.
Seokmin says, “crazy.”
You say, “yeah.”
The conversation drifts into plans for the upcoming end-of-the-year dance, which you expect to be the usual. Go with Seokmin, actually be at the event for no more than an hour, head back to either your or Seokmin’s house to spend the night watching movies and trying not to make too much noise laughing when he inevitably does something stupidly funny.
You expect things to be easy. Familiar like always before things start to really change.
-
Evidently, the change you’re nervous about hits a little earlier than you expected.
Seokmin gets asked to prom by a girl in your grade, someone named Sarai. She’s pretty and sweet and talked to Seokmin enough for him to say yes (although he checks with you about it first, which, however sweet, seems a little unnecessary). You’re not upset - it’s not as if you can’t still hang out with him at the dance. Your after-prom plans with him still stand, and you remind him of such. Plus, you’re excited to tease him just a little bit about his first real date to anything. And once Seokmin’s found a date, the universe shifts just a little bit more when Mingyu asks you to the dance.
(You’re surprised, but you say yes, because you’ve been partnered with him enough in class projects to know he’ll make sure you have a good time. He’s sweet and funny and laughs when Seokmin threatens him about what’ll happen if he treats you badly. The “threats” are half-assed and Seokmin apologizes for them later.)
And then the universe does a total 180 when you receive a letter in the mail from the college you applied to months ago and it starts with the words we regret to inform you like it really matters to them at all. On prom day, too.
It kills your mood, for sure, but you don’t exactly have much time to worry about it… it’ll just make Seokmin upset, too. You’ll tell him later. Tonight will be good, you’ll deal with it all later. You get ready for the dance a little lackluster, but it’s okay.
Soon enough Mingyu’s picking you up from your house, slipping a corsage onto your wrist and smiling through your family’s unavoidable need for pictures. He cracks jokes on the way to the school and you laugh at them but you know he can tell something’s up. He doesn’t say anything about it.
Once you actually get into the dance and meet up with Seokmin and Sarai, you do forget about things for a while. You spend time cringing at the music playing a little too loud over the speakers, laughing at Seokmin and Mingyu having what can barely be considered a dance battle. It’s easy to get swept up in the moment, and you’re thankful for the distraction.
After you waste your energy on the dance battle (you were brought in against your will, but you still won by a landslide) you tell the group that you’re a little overheated and going to cool off outside. You seat yourself on the steps outside of the gym, take in a deep breath of outside air.
And it… hits, a little, right then. That you’re not leaving with Seokmin. He got his acceptance letter a few days ago, and he’s leaving, and you should have applied to other schools, but application fees are expensive and you really just thought that you’d get in. You thought things would work out okay.
You sniff when the door behind you opens and shuts, music loud and then quiet, wiping what little tears escaped away. Mingyu sits down next to you too fast for him not to know what you’re trying to do, so you give up easily. A second of quiet passes, filled with crickets and the ruffling of your clothes as you move idly.
“Sorry,” you end up saying, voice small. In your peripheral vision, you see Mingyu tilt his head to look at you, and when you look back at him, he’s got a small pout on his face.
“For what?” He asks in response, leaning back on his hands. “You’ve had a bad day. Just ‘cause it’s prom doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to feel bad.”
Something in his voice makes you want to cry, but you let out a sigh in hopes you can hold off the tears for a little bit longer. “It’s just,” you breathe, feelings your voice shake. “I didn’t get into the college I was supposed to, and Seokmin did, and he’s looking dorms and apartments so far away, and I… I’m not going with him. He’ll be there alone.”
Mingyu hums. “Have you told him yet?”
“No.”
“Are you going to?”
The answer to that question should be an automatic yes. Even you know that much. You say, “I don’t know.”
Mingyu nods and it surprises you. “I think you should,” he says.
You run your hands over your arms. You know he’s right - he doesn’t even have to explain why he thinks it’s a good idea - but still, you…
“I don’t want to have to tell him that we have to do this all separately,” you murmur. “We had a plan. I really wanted it to work.”
Mingyu rubs a gentle hand over your back, and the warmth of his palm provides more comfort than these kinds of things usually do. He’s smiling at you when you look over at him, something soft and understanding. “It’ll be rough to be apart from him, but there’s nothing you can do about it now. And sending him off without telling him’ll only be worse in the long run.”
It still makes you nervous. You don’t want to have to take such a big step without Seokmin, and you don’t want him to have to take such a big step without you, either. All of this change is scary as is, and to do it without the one person you’ve counted on for years… well. You know you’ll still have each other, even through timezones and cultures, but it’s not the same as physically being with him.
You blink away fresh tears as you look at Mingyu, watching him come in and out of focus while you try to get your vision back to normal. He waits, patient, fingers rubbing patterns into the space between your shoulder blades, and you think, briefly, that maybe it wouldn’t be so hard to like him. You lean closer to him so your head rests on his shoulder and he lets you, his hand moving from your back to over your shoulder as you do. “Thank you,” you tell him. “Sorry for being a bad date.”
Mingyu shrugs gently like he’s trying not to jostle you around too much. “You can make it up to me by buying me lunch one of these days.”

Despite what Mingyu said on prom night, you don’t tell Seokmin.
Graduation comes and goes, as does the summer. Seokmin asks about your acceptance letter and your answers range from “maybe they’re behind” to “I wonder if I gave them the wrong address” and he accepts them. You spend the months melted into ice cream and at low-light bonfires, in pillow forts at Seokmin’s and LED-lit movie nights at your place. You visit Mingyu on his breaks at work and look for your own job.
(Seokmin asks why you’re looking for work when you’ll just be gone soon, and you tell him a temp job’s money can pay for textbooks.)
It’s a good summer, even if it feels like you’re plagued by a shadow for most of it. You try not to let it get to you (some days you wonder how you manage it).
Eventually, however… it’s time for Seokmin to leave.
By this point you’ve given up on stalling, and you’ve told him that you’ve received your acceptance letter, you’re just staying behind for a while to tie up some loose ends and make sure everything’s in order. You’re at the boarding gate with him, waiting for his flight to be called.
“So,” he starts, shuffling his carryon bag between his hands. “I’ll see you in a few weeks?”
“Yeah,” you answer, hoping that he can’t hear the lie in your voice. “A few weeks. I’ll text you when I’m done with everything.”
Seokmin pulls you into a hug and you hold onto him for dear life, because whether you’re coming or not, it’ll be a while before you see him again. You’re a little comforted by the fact that he seems reluctant to go, too, his face buried in your neck. You think you hear him sniff and it’s almost comical.
When you pull away from the embrace, you don’t distance yourself, keeping your forehead against his. You refuse to open your eyes, a little too afraid of what you will or won’t see, a little too caught up in all this moment might mean to you, in all that Seokmin means to you. His breath dances over your lips and you lean into it, a hint of something in uncharted territory. A new feeling, a different rush.
His plane is called to board and you break away for real, this time, your eyes opening as you feel Seokmin’s arms slip from around your body. You don’t have time to think about whatever feeling rushed through you.
“Have a safe flight, okay? Call me if you need anything.”
Seokmin smiles, big and bright, says, “‘kay. I’ll see you soon.”
But you don’t see him for a while after that.
Tumblr media
nineteen.
“Have you told Seokmin yet?”
Mingyu’s tone is innocently inquisitive, but you know better when he’s been asking the same question every few days for almost an entire year. “Seokmin stopped asking,” you respond, taking a bite of your sandwich as the early-spring breeze ruffles your hair.
Seokmin did stop asking about when you’d be following him to college. You think he figured it out a long time ago - a month into the school year and you were still nowhere to be found - but it’s been harder and harder to talk to him at all, given he’s busy with school and you have little energy between shifts at work. The time difference doesn’t help much, either.
“What do you mean he stopped asking?” Mingyu scoffs, and you shrug, picking off a stray blade of grass from your picnic blanket (Mingyu’s idea for today’s lunch date, since it’s started to get warmer outside).
“I mean he stopped asking,” you say. “It’s been hard to talk to him lately.”
A second passes with neither of you talking before Mingyu murmurs something along the lines of “can’t believe you didn’t tell him” and you roll your eyes, taking a chip from the bag you brought and throwing it at him. You feel bad about it - you think you always will - but there’s nothing you can do about it now, really.
The two of you eat together in lighter conversation, drifting from one topic to the next, enjoying company. He makes stupid jokes and you pretend they’re not funny, but it never lasts long and you can’t help a few giggles from slipping out.
And then he says, “you know, I always thought you and Seokmin would get together.”
You blink at him a few times, then furrow your brows. “Like, dating?”
“Yeah,” he laughs, wiping his hands free of crumbs. “Everyone did, really.”
You’ve never thought of it that much - you figured you’d get a few people here and there asking when you and Seokmin would actually start dating (you did, and it still shocks you) but you’ve never… seriously considered it. Mingyu asks you as such and you shake your head, honest. He looks at you with an unreadable expression.
“Seokmin… he looked at you like he was in love with you.”
For a second you think about the airport, about being so close to him you couldn’t focus on anything else, the moments spent in a different world, but you shake it out of your mind. “You know Seokmin,” you say. “He’s a little bit in love with everything.”
Mingyu hums. “He’s not the only one who looked at you like that.”
He says it so casually you almost miss it completely. You look at him and he’s looking at something else, and it reminds you of partnering with him in class and when he’d send you homework answers when you missed school, reminds you of prom and sitting outside the gym with him, your head on his shoulder and his arm around you.
You say, “Mingyu?”
He says, “sorry, I really wanted this to be better.”
It hits in a second and you’re practically falling over yourself to get to him, hands on his shoulders while you shake him ruthlessly. “Wait, are you being serious?” You demand, barely listening to his protests. “What the hell, are you really -”
Mingyu pushes you off of him, gentle, and you just stare at him like you’ll get an answer without saying anything. You only find half of the words. “How long have you…”
He’s just as flustered as you, it seems, but he understands what you’re trying to say. He scratches the back of his head in a nervous tick you remember him telling you about once. “Since… maybe junior year? The middle of junior year.”
“Why did you say anything?”
His smile is bittersweet. “Well, I thought you were dating Seokmin,” he says. “And when I found out you weren’t, I figured it’d only be a matter of time before you were, so I think I forgot about it for a while. But, I don’t know, we got so close this last year, and I know it’s only because Seokmin’s gone -”
“No, Mingyu, what?” You interrupt before you can think about it. He looks at you and it breaks your heart to think that he’s been feeling this way for so long. “Seokmin is my best friend, but I never saw you as a replacement. You’re you, not him, and I…”
There’s something in the way Mingyu looks at you now, a sliver of fondness steeped in the dark of his eyes. “You?”
You feel like falling. “...I wouldn’t mind a date. Sometime. With you.”
Mingyu grins so wide it makes your heart pound.
-
It takes a few dates and a few more kisses, but eventually you and Mingyu are officially dating. Summer comes in what feels like record time but it’s good, spending your time working and liking Mingyu, feeling like slow-melting honey. You think you might have enough money for your own apartment, soon.
It happens on a completely normal day.
You’re standing at the register post-lunch rush, meaning there probably won’t be many customers for the next few hours. The health of your nails is a lot more interesting than looking around a restaurant you’ve been familiar with since you were thirteen, so you don’t even notice that a customer’s come in until you hear and quiet ahem in front of you.
You manage to get out “oh, gosh, sorry, how can I -” before you realize that it’s Seokmin.
Seokmin, standing in front of you, hair a warm brown instead of the black you saw him leave with. He stuffs his hands in his pockets and smiles at you.
“Hi,” you say.
“Hey,” he says back.
-
Your manager is kind enough to let you take your break early, and you grab your and Seokmin’s favorites from the menu before sitting down with him. He speaks first, like he’s been thinking about this for a while.
“So,” he starts, and you raise an eyebrow at him from across the table. “You’re still living here.”
It hits like a brick to your chest and you chuckle as some sort of self defense, choosing to start with a winded “yeah, about that,” before telling Seokmin what happened. In all honesty, it’s not hard to be solemn about it - you feel guilty, and even more so, just sad. You missed out on so much with him, a years worth of new memories.
When you’re done, he says, “okay.”
“‘Okay’? You’re not mad?” You ask, incredulous. Seokmin shakes his head, hair bouncing with the movement.
“No… I mean, I’m upset, but I’m not mad,” he says. “It was hard for you, and that’s okay. I just wish you would’ve told me.”
You nod, leaning back in your seat while Seokmin takes another bite of his food. “I was worried you wouldn’t leave at all,” you tell him. “And after you left, I guess I was worried that you’d come back.”
“Eh, maybe.”
“Maybe? Maybe?”
But it’s easy like it always is with Seokmin, and when your break is over and you have to get back to work he tells you that he’ll see you again when your shift is over. You grin at him when he leaves and he grins back, and despite the surprise, you’re excited that he’s visited. You’ve missed your best friend.
You see him again when he meets you at your place, waiting for you to change out of your work clothes and so he can say hi to your family since it’s been so long. He’s paging through a magazine on your bed while you finish up getting ready in your bathroom.
“Are you dating anyone?” He asks suddenly, and an automatic grin flushes over your face as you stick your head in the doorway to look at him.
“Yeah, actually,” you say, and Seokmin’s eyes widen. “Mingyu and I started dating a little bit ago.”
“Mingyu,” Seokmin echoes, almost like he can’t believe it. “Mingyu from high school? That Mingyu?”
“Yes?” You respond, matching his confused tone. Seokmin turns back to your magazine.
“The threat still stands,” he whispers dramatically. “I’ll have to tell him again.”
You laugh openly, rolling your eyes as you leave your bathroom to find your shoes. You’re not exactly sure where the two of you are going tonight, but you figure it doesn’t matter. You’re tying up the laces on your second shoe when Seokmin speaks again.
“I’m happy for you, though,” he says. There’s something in his voice - in his face - that you can’t decipher. “Mingyu’s good.”
It makes you happy, proud, even, and you make it known with a large grin. The rest of the night is simple, nostalgic in a way you haven’t felt for a while as the two of you drive down familiar streets and listen to old songs you used to love. The sun sets on a day that feels successful and comfortable, and when Mingyu calls you out of the blue later Seokmin does make sure to threaten him again, and this time he finds it in himself to not take it all back immediately (even when he tells you to tell Mingyu he’s sorry later). You think that it’ll be a while before things are this simple again.
Tumblr media
twenty-one.
Seokmin answers your call in exactly three and a half rings and with an excited “hey!”
It’s been easier and easier to keep in touch with each other now that you both have a better grasp on your schedules and you aren’t avoiding him. You manage to find a time to talk to each other that isn’t too early for you or too late for him and vice versa, and at a rate that doesn’t leave the two of you silent for weeks on end. “Hey, Seok.”
He asks you about your week, how things have been going, and you humbly brag about already being promoted at your new job. He sends you a weird look but congratulates you nonetheless, and you flick your camera and he pretends like it hurts.
“What about you?” You ask, laying back in your bed. You hear the front door of your apartment open and close and figure Mingyu’s home (which is still a weird thing to just think, even when it’s been a few months that you’ve lived together). “Anything new and exciting?”
Mingyu must hear you talking, because he doesn’t come into your shared bedroom announcing “honey, I’m home,” like he (obnoxiously) does every day. You smile at him when his face appears in the doorway. “Actually,” Seokmin says from your phone, eyes sparkling even through the bad quality of your camera. Mingyu shuffles around in your peripheral vision. “I was cast in a musical the theater department’s doing.”
Halfway through the phrase “no way” Mingyu decides to collapse directly on top of you, and you let out a gust of air you didn’t even know you could hold in your lungs followed by inevitable giggles. Seokmin makes a confused noise on the other end of the line.
“Hi Seokmin,” Mingyu offers as an explanation, voice muffled from where his mouth is nuzzled into your chest. Seokmin laughs.
“Hi, Mingyu.”
You roll your eyes at your boyfriend’s antics but don’t push him off of you, only shifting a little so that Seokmin can still see your face and you’re not uncomfortable holding the phone up. “Ignore him. Tell me about the musical.”
And he does. He tells you what it’s about, that he got the lead even when he didn’t think he’d have a chance, that the first show is in about a month and a half. You don’t pitch in often, only offering hums and nods and sounds of amazement as Seokmin rattles on happily.
It’s not long after that that you say your goodbyes, bringing your faces too close to your cameras as a new sort of ritual before you hang up. You toss your phone somewhere on the other side of the bed and wrap your arms around Mingyu (who’s been very patient), who leans up to kiss you sweetly, then pepper light kisses all over your face as a greeting.
“Welcome home,” you say through laughter.
It’s a slow night, most of the evening spent in bed watching stupid videos and catching up on new episodes of TV shows both of you watch together. When the sun finally sets Mingyu leaves your blanket cocoon to take a shower and you busy yourself with looking up the cost… of plane tickets.
Right when you’re finishing up the necessary research is when Mingyu comes out of the shower. “What’re you lookin’ at?” He asks, motioning to your laptop. He sits on the corner of the bed, toweling his hair dry, and you bite your lip.
“Would it be okay if I… booked a trip? For, say, a month and a half from now?”
Mingyu blinks at you. “For Seokmin?”
You nod, pushing your laptop off of your legs to rest on the mattress. “Yeah, I… it’s his first musical, and when we had this whole plan to move together, I told him I’d be there,” you say. “Feels kinda like I owe him, you know? And I miss him. He’s only visited once since that first time.”
Mingyu smiles at you, supportive, and you smile back. “Yeah, whatever you want,” he tells you, standing from the bed. His voice fades as he walks back to the bathroom. “It’ll be good to get away from you for a while.”
“Hey!”
-
A few days before Seokmin’s opening night you land in his city.
The first thought in your head is “oh wow, I’m finally here” and it’s immediately followed by the unnecessary and irrational anxiety funded by the fact that Seokmin doesn’t know you’re here. The whole visit is a surprise. You had stopped by his parents’ house to ask his mom for his address and she had gone the extra mile to tell you he wouldn’t have plans when you were visiting and that he’d be home alone.
(“Are you dating anyone right now?” She had asked when you visited. You told her yes, a mutual friend of yours and Seokmins. “Oh,” she’d said. “That’s a shame. I’d always hoped you and Seokmin would get together. I think he used to have a crush on you.”)
You want it to be a surprise, because it’s been so long since you’ve seen him in person, but at the same time… it’s a little inconveniencing to show up at someone’s house out of nowhere. But you know Seokmin, and he’d never turn you away over it.
After you get your bags you make your way to the entrance of the airport, luckily landing a taxi without waiting too long. Everything is busy and you’re a little overwhelmed, but somehow you can’t help but think that it fits Seokmin to be in a place like this, full of life and warmth like him. The taxi driver asks you where you want to go and you read him the address you were given (Seokmin’s address, your brain emphasizes) and he takes off like he knows exactly where the apartment is.
You’re not sure how much time passes but soon enough you’re in front of Seokmin’s building, entering through the lobby and taking the elevator up to the fourth floor. Your heart feels like it’s pounding out of your chest and the smooth, mindless music coming from the speakers does little to help you calm down. When you get to the right floor you count the doors as you pass them, mumbling Seokmin’s under your breath until the numbers on the plaque finally match the ones you’re telling yourself.
You take a second to calm yourself down, one nice deep breath into your lungs before you knock three times in quick succession. There are footsteps, the turn of the lock, and then…
It’s not Seokmin. It’s a girl. A girl you’ve never seen before.
Both of you stare at each other for a little too long before you snap out of it and ask, tentative, “is there… a Seokmin here?”
Recognition bleeds onto her face and she leans back into the apartment to call out Seokmin’s name, reverberating through the walls. It happens in the same way, all again, a little more distinct to your ears - footsteps, the shuffling of clothes, and then Seokmin is in front of you, real, in the flesh.
(Your Seokmin.)
“Hey,” you greet with a smile that you’ve been trying to hold in since you landed. “Surprise.”
In a step and a half Seokmin’s crushing you in his arms and you’re laughing like it’s the only thing you know how to do, squeezing him back just as hard. He smells like the detergent you’ve always known him to use mixed with another scent you’re unfamiliar with but it still fits him just the same, warm and light and potent.
“What are you doing here?” Seokmin asks as he lets you go, stepping back into his doorway and making room for you to follow. He grabs one of your bags and you follow him into his apartment.
“Oh, when you told me about your musical I figured I should come and see,” you say once you both stop in the living room. “I promised I would.”
Something moves behind the two of you but you barely notice. Seokmin stands in front of you and for a moment it’s like it was back before you graduated, before he moved and before everything. “Yeah, you did,” he murmurs.
An ahem sound echoes throughout the room and you remember the girl from earlier, the one who opened the door to Seokmin’s apartment. You spin around while Seokmin makes an “oh!” sound like he just remembered she was there (and you feel kind of bad, but she only rolls her eyes with a smile).
“Sorry,” Seokmin laughs, coming around you to stand by the girl. “This is my friend Ashley. She’s playing the other lead in the musical, we were going over lines.”
You introduce yourself and Ashley is nice, shakes your hand with a firm grip as you tell her your name before she says she should get going. This is what you were anxious about earlier. You tell both of them that you didn’t mean to interrupt and if they needed to keep practicing they could, but Ashley assures you that she was planning on leaving soon anyways and walks out the door calling it was good meeting you!
The door shuts and you’re here in Seokmin’s apartment, and it feels strange… maybe things were always meant to turn out this way, but you can’t help but think that in another lifetime this might’ve been your apartment too, if everything had gone according to plan. You wonder how everything went for parallel universe you.
“So,” you say, looking at Seokmin. “Give me a tour?”
-
The week is spent relaxing and laughing, catching up with Seokmin as he shows you his favorite hang-out spots and restaurants. On a day that he doesn’t have any morning classes the two of you attempt a homemade brunch and you don’t end up setting off the fire alarm. You spend a solid four hours in a private karaoke room that was definitely too much for you to be paying for but Seokmin was going through Twice’s entire discography and you knew better than to try to drag him away from that.
He reserves a ticket for you for the musical (“Front row, I begged for hours!” He wails when he comes back. He was gone for thirty minutes) and it feels like the time really flies after that, because then it’s opening night and you’re waiting outside the university’s theater. Seokmin had left a few hours earlier than you because, well, he is performing. You’d told him good luck and that you’d be cheering the loudest.
And when the musical starts and he comes on stage you really can’t stop smiling. You’re reminded of when he really decided this is what he wants to do, and you know everything he’s done has led up to this. All he’s for is the stage, for performance, and when he sings you fall into it, losing yourself in the story.
There’s an entire auditorium of people that clap when the play finishes, but based on the looks the people around you are giving you, you’d say you’re at least one of the loudest. And based on the grin Seokmin sends your way when the cast bows, you’d say you’re loud enough for him.
A few minutes after the curtain falls you get a text from him telling you to meet him backstage and you make your way there, finding him waiting at the entrance for you. The first thing you do is tackle him in a hug and he laughs loud, sounding as giddy as you feel, then he takes you backstage with him. He’s wiping off makeup when he tells you about a post-show dinner.
“You should come,” he says, makeup smearing at the corner of his eye. You lean forward, taking the makeup wipe from him and deciding that he’s hopeless at this stuff before gently wiping at his face for him. “It’ll be a lot of fun!”
You purse your lips in thought, then shake your head, grabbing a fresh wipe and rubbing it over the rest of his face. “No, I don’t want to intrude. I wasn’t even a part of any of this, it’d feel weird.”
Seokmin looks at you with puppy eyes, asking if you’re sure, and you nod, flicking him softly in the forehead as both of you laugh.
-
On your way home you pick up a bouquet of flowers and a single cupcake in Seokmin’s favorite flavor, along with a pack of candles. You only need one of them, but you couldn’t find a single candle that wasn’t a number. It’s not much, but you want to give him something. It’s a memorable occasion, anyways.
You make good use of his Disney+ account while you wait for him to come back, and sometime around midnight you hear the jingle of keys and then the lock at the front door turn. You pause your movie (a little bitterly because you just got to the good part of Tangled) and set everything up accordingly, the bouquet on the counter and the cupcake next to it, and you barely manage to light the candle in time before Seokmin enters the room.
“Congratulations,” you call, quiet to mind the neighbors, your hands out to frame the simple gifts as if to say “here you go!”
He crosses through the living room to stand opposite to you on the other side of the counter, watching the flame on the candle intently. The wax drips onto the frosting. “You gotta blow it out, Seok. The wax is gonna get all over it.”
Seokmin asks, “you got this for me?” in a small voice and it’s only when you look at him that you notice his eyes glassy with tears.
“Oh, Seokminnie, don’t cry,” you say with a gentle laugh, and he sniffs with his own chuckle before leaning down to blow the candle out. You reach a hand over the counter and ruffle his hair while he switches his attention to the bouquet, picking it up and looking at the flowers close up.
And then he looks back at you, ears and the tip of his nose a little red from the almost-crying, smile on his face as usual as ever, but you are - and this is -
You think about that day the two of you hung out in high school, when you went to the park and he told you about a weird dream; you remember the sun on his skin and the way that he spoke. You think about being his date to anything, a routine, familiar, a promise. You think about planning your lives together so you would still be close together even when you’re both old and senile, you think about lost moments, you think about this moment, right here, in Seokmin’s apartment, in a world created by the two of you.
And this… this is being in love. This is being in love with Seokmin. This is realizing.
“Hey,” Seokmin calls, waving a hand in front of your face. You blink a few times. “Did you zone out?”
It takes a second longer than it should for you to respond. “Yeah,” you answer slowly, trying to swallow everything down. You feel hot. “Sorry, yeah.”
“You sure that’s all it is? You look pale.”
You shake your head. Is this really happening? “No, I’m fine, promise. I guess I’m just a little tired.”
Seokmin reaches forward and puts the back of his hand against your forehead to check your temperature. It makes everything worse. “You must be too,” you add, desperate. You don’t know if you want him closer or if you want him far away. “It’s late. You performed in a play today.”
As if on cue, he yawns. You gulp as he takes his hand away to cover his mouth, then nods, his lips forming into a pout. “Yeah, you’re right. Guess we should get some sleep, huh?”
He leaves the flowers but takes the cupcake with him to his bedroom, a giddy and innocent “goodnight” called over his shoulder before his door shuts. You unfold a few blankets onto his couch, turn off the lights, and will yourself to go to sleep like it might make the feeling go away.
Do I want it to go away?
You refuse to answer.
-
You try to push it all back, at least for the rest of the trip. Luckily, you only stay another few days before you have to head back home, and you think you do a decent job, even if Seokmin senses something (but he doesn’t ask you about it, which you’re more than thankful for). Unluckily, you have to return home to Mingyu. Your boyfriend. And you don’t know what that might mean for you.
The airport gives you deja vu.
“Thank you for visiting,” Seokmin tells you at your gate, and you smile at him.
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world,” you say, feeling your heart clench in your chest. “I’ll be back soon.”
For some reason it’s not any easier, despite the fact that he’s been living so far away from you for so long. Maybe… maybe it’s because things are different, at least for you.
“‘Kay,” Seokmin responds, opening his arms wide. You go to him in a second.
And Seokmin has never felt unfamiliar, he’s never been unusual. But it feels different, holding him like this, his hand on your back and his nose in your shoulder. It is so much more and so much worse and you can’t do anything but squeeze him tighter.
He pulls away first and the minimal space between you reminds you of the first time you saw him off at the airport, and now, if you wanted, you could…
It only lasts for a second. (You wonder if it’s a sign.)
You almost tell him, right there, his hands still lingering on you and his scent still attached to your clothes. You almost tell him that the other night, looking at him under his kitchen light, you realized you were in love with him. You open your mouth to, but your throat stops you, and then an automated voice calling for your gate interrupts you before you even get a chance.
(You wonder if that’s a sign, too.)
You can’t, you remind yourself. Not yet, at least. Not when Mingyu’s at home, waiting for you to get back. Not when he’s waiting for you.
Waiting for you to come around, it seems.
-
You get home and things seem normal, like nothing changed. The world keeps spinning, you suppose. Mingyu picks you up from the airport but somehow holds himself together until you get home, lifting you up and spinning you around, and you can’t help the giggling, don’t stop yourself from kissing him sweetly as a greeting.
But it feels off. Wrong, even. You wish it didn’t.
The weeks pass. You go back to work, face the routine you’ve had for so long now, come home to Mingyu every night until you start to think that maybe this - maybe Mingyu - isn’t worth keeping, when you feel this way about Seokmin. It’s not fair to either of you.
It’s a sunny day when you decide to talk to Mingyu about it. He comes home from work and you let him change into comfortable clothes, hands curled around a mug of coffee at the island when he comes into the kitchen from the bedroom. You say, “I need to talk to you about something.”
He blinks at you but nods, moving to sit on the barstool next to yours. Your heart starts to pound in your chest and you feel your hands start to shake at the force of it, doing your best to hide it by sitting on your palms.
And you know the words, they’re on the tip of your tongue. They’ve been screaming at you so much for so long that you can taste the syllables in your mouth, the sounds of the letters almost too loud. But you can’t say them. You open your mouth, then close it, then open it again. You look at Mingyu and he smiles.
“Is this,” he starts, pushing hair out of your face, “about Seokmin?”
All you can do is nod, then watch as his hand falls back to his lap. “Ah, I knew it,” he says. You want to throw up. “Never could measure up to him, huh?”
“No,” you say immediately, your voice finally finding its way up your throat. “Mingyu, it was never - it was always me. I’m sorry. It was never you.”
He looks at you and you don’t know what to do. Something like this was never supposed to happen to you, and it was never supposed to happen to someone like Mingyu. It’s all so unfair.
“I didn’t know,” you tell him, feeling your lip wobble with the threat of tears. You will them away. Something in you breaks anyways. “I didn’t know until I visited him. And it was never - you were never a replacement, you remember when I told you that, right? You weren’t, and I felt something for you, I loved you -”
“Hey,” Mingyu interrupts, pulling your hands into his. You take in a sharp breath and wonder how he can sound so calm. “I don’t blame you.”
It just feels so wrong that you have to do this, that you have to break him like this. He doesn’t shake like you, but you can see it in the way he moves and how he looks at you. In a second everything changes, and you don’t know what to do, you don’t know what to say anymore. You squeeze Mingyu’s hands and push all of your energy into hoping that the action does something for both of you.
When it all dies down, you pack your suitcase with clothes and leave to stay at your parents’ for a few days. Mingyu watches you leave.
Tumblr media
twenty-two.
Your birthday comes right after you finish moving everything out of your and Mingyu’s apartment. Well. Just Mingyu’s, now. Carrying the last box in your hands, you ask him if he’ll be okay (you feel like a bitch for it), if he still wants you to pay half of the rent until the lease finishes… he tells you he’ll be fine, and it makes you sigh. You move back in with your parents while you look for a new place to live.
It crosses your mind to tell Seokmin how you feel about him.
As you settle into a new routine, it shows up a lot. The wound from your breakup is still fresh - not as big as Mingyu’s, but it stings - so it takes you a little while, but you eventually come to the conclusion that you’ll tell him. You don’t know if he feels the same, and if he doesn’t… you know Seokmin. The worst he’d be is sweet.
A video call is the best you can do right now, so you text Seokmin and arrange a time to call when the time difference isn’t too harrowing. You tell him you’ve got news, and he sends back an excited me too!
And you hope, so foolishly.
(Because Mingyu had told you what feels like a lifetime ago that it’d always seemed like you were dating, and even Seokmin’s mom had said that he might’ve had a crush on you. You know it’s nothing. You still want to think that maybe...)
Your heart races as you listen to the low ring of your phone, waiting for Seokmin to pick up. It’s a quiet night, holed up in your old room, and you get lost in the pictures from high school taped along your mirror and the memorabilia strung along your desk in the form of ticket stubs and notes passed during classes, tiny trinkets as gifts from trips. A photobooth picture of you and Seokmin catches your attention the longest, eyes drifting between the set as younger versions of yourselves make stupid faces at the camera.
Your phone makes a noise that the call’s connected and the first thing you hear is a “hey!” from Seokmin that makes you smile despite your unease.
“Hey,” you respond, setting your phone upright on your desk and leaning back in your chair. “How are you doing, stranger?”
“Really good,” he answers. “It’s been a while since we called, huh?”
And it has - with everything that’s happened on your end, you’ve found it difficult to make time for an entire call, and you imagine Seokmin’s been busy as well. The two of you drift into small talk that doesn’t feel like small talk because it’s you and because it’s Seokmin, catching up on all the things that you missed during text conversations.
“Wait,” he says eventually, bringing the camera closer to his face. “Are you staying with your parents? That’s your old room, right?”
Here goes, you think. “About that,” you say, nervousness tangible in your voice. “The news I had to tell you. Or, I guess, half of it… Mingyu and I broke up.”
There’s a delayed noise from Seokmin before he straight up screams, and his face is so comical that you almost forget about your nerves completely. “You what?” he demands, shaking his phone back and forth. You find it in yourself to laugh. “Why?”
“Well, that’s the other half,” you say. A fresh rush of anxiety runs through your veins, but you manage it. Realization bleeds across Seokmin’s face and you think he’s figured it out before you even had a chance to tell him yourself.
“Oh god, that makes my news so much worse,” he says instead of what you think he will, and for a second your heart picks up its pace because - does he mean - but wait, that doesn’t make sense -
“What’s your news?” You ask, a little too breathless and a little too urgent for your liking.
“Are you sure you wanna hear it?” He asks in return, hesitant. “It might make you feel bad.”
Why would his confession make you feel bad? Does he know that you’re -
“Tell me.”
It can’t be worse than the kind way you know he’d turn you down…
“Well… Ashley and I started dating.”
Oh. Maybe it can.
“Ashley,” you start, saying her name like you’re forcing yourself to get used to saying it. The world starts to spin around you. “The other lead from the musical?”
“Yeah,” Seokmin says. “I didn’t… I don’t want to rub it in your face or anything, I didn’t know -”
“No, it’s okay, Seok,” you tell him, mustering a soft smile. “I’m happy for you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, really.”
And you are, you could never not be happy for Seokmin, especially when he’s smiling like that and the tips of his ears are red because he’s a little embarrassed. He scratches the back of his neck before saying, “oh, but you never told me why you and Mingyu broke up? You said that was the other half.”
You say, “we can talk about it later,” and then, like it doesn’t hurt, “tell me about her.”
Seokmin grins like he used to grin at you and you can’t help but wonder…
(When did he stop? Why did you never notice? How did it go from being your smile to hers?)
Oh, well. Maybe you’ll never know.
Tumblr media
twenty-three.
A few more months pass before you see Seokmin in person again, and it’s not by your own will.
Maybe that’s harsh. He’s graduating and invites you to come, and you tell him you’ll be there because you know you’d regret it if you didn’t go, feelings aside.
Feelings… you thought it would go away. You thought your heart would cut it out after Seokmin told you he was dating someone, but it seems no part of you got the memo, because you’re more than nervous to see him again. On the bright side, you won’t be there for as long as you were the last time you visited.
(But then it gets confusing, because you want to spend time with him, but you can’t be around him for too long without losing it. You can barely properly handle a phone call.)
On the flight you reserve a room at a hotel not far from Seokmin’s apartment, since his parents are staying with him and you don’t want to crowd it further. You go through the motions, checking into your hotel room before heading over to Seokmin’s to visit with everyone for a while. It’s almost easy for a bit, laughing with his parents about old memories and tales from a childhood that seems so long ago. You manage to make it through, leaving a little early with the excuse that jetlag has you tired and you don’t want to sleep in past your alarm for tomorrow.
In retrospect, college graduation isn’t that much different than high school, even if you’re just watching this time. You sit with Seokmin’s parents up in the bleachers of the venue they’re holding the ceremony in, scream at the top of your lungs when Seokmin’s name is called and he walks across the stage with a big smile. When it’s all over you meet up with him outside.
“You’re a big-shot, now,” you tease him, pulling at the strands of his tassel. He laughs.
Eventually Ashley finds her way over to your group, her arm immediately winding itself around Seokmin’s torso. You try not to stare, try even harder not to avoid them both completely. Seokmin says, “a few classmates are hosting a graduates party, do you wanna come?”
It’s instinct to shake your head. “I never went to college, Seokminnie,” you remind him, and he rolls his eyes.
Ashley says, “you should still come. I know it’s been a while since you two hung out. It could be fun.”
Despite whatever you feel towards Ashley - you don’t hate her, but it’s hard not to feel something negative towards her - you appreciate the push, and she’s right, either way. It’s been a while since you last saw Seokmin, and, well… maybe you just need to learn how to be around him, now.
And it is fun, for the most part. You’re not a total stranger to parties, having been to a few when Mingyu would insist on dragging you out of the house, and it’s not all plastic red cups and screaming like you thought it’d be. You have a good time, making small talk with a few girls in the kitchen while getting drinks, laughing way too hard with Seokmin, and even talking to Ashley doesn’t sting as much as it did before.
(It still aches, but it’s slower. Maybe it’s just the alcohol you’ve had.)
But eventually she pulls Seokmin away from you, even when he sends you a sympathetic smile. You wave him off, tell him he’ll find you later. You make your way out to the porch of the house (you’re wondering how the hell someone your age has an entire house but choose not to think about it too much for the sake of your head) because inside’s getting a little stuffy, walking past a few people already outside to sit on the front steps. You scroll through your phone, take occasional sips of your now-lukewarm drink.
The door opens, letting out a gentle blast of music and overlapping voices, and you hear Seokmin say, “oh, there you are!” before the door closes again. You turn around and smile at him, watching as he sits down next to you, grunting, “I thought I lost you.”
It makes you huff out a laugh. You hear the front door open and close again as the other people on the porch head back inside. “Just wanted some air.”
The two of you delve into soft conversation, but you can tell Seokmin wants to talk about something else. You bet it’s about Mingyu (you never told him why you broke up, never had the guts) or about how you’ve been acting differently. A space of quiet filled with crickets and distant bass surrounds you and you speak before he can ask, before you can think too much.
“Did you know everyone thought we’d end up together?” You ask, sparing a glance at him. “Like, dating?”
He chuckles a bit, says, “yeah, my mom was our number one fan.”
It makes something solemnly sweet bloom in you. You offer a small smile anyways, turn back to the neighborhood in front of you. “No, really, everyone. I didn’t realize it was such a big thing.”
You hear Seokmin blow out a puff of air. He sounds like he’s pouting the way he does when he’s thinking when he speaks again. “Yeah, me either, I guess. What does this…”
He doesn’t finish, and he doesn’t have to. You say, “Mingyu thought we would. Date, I mean.”
Seokmin stays quiet. You’ve waited so long now to tell him why you and Mingyu even broke up in the first place, and now that you’re here… what are you even supposed to say? How are you supposed to tell him everything in a way that’s equal parts kind and understanding, in a way that doesn’t sound like you’re begging for him to love you, too?
“...Is that why you guys broke up?” Seokmin asks. “Did he think we had something going on?”
You say “yes and no” through a breathy, nervous laugh. When you find it in yourself to look at Seokmin again he looks more confused than you felt when you first realized…
“Yes and no?”
Now or never, right?
“He didn’t think we had something going on,” you say. Your chest fills with a familiar feeling, something like butterflies, a little less poetic. Maybe moths. “But I…”
Seokmin doesn’t say anything, but he looks like he knows where you’re going with this. You let yourself say it because there’s nothing else you can say.
“When I came down to watch your musical,” you tell him, softly. “I think that’s when I realized I love you.”
It feels like you did something wrong, like you’re confessing to a crime, like you’re in court and everything you do is being watched. But the ground doesn’t crack beneath your feet when you say it, stars don’t start falling from the sky, a hurricane doesn’t start destroying everything in its path. The world stays still despite your pounding heart.
“You what?” Seokmin asks. It might be rhetorical. You answer anyways.
“I’m sorry, Seokminnie,” you say. “I love you.”
You’re not sure what you’re expecting from this (you’re not even sure what you’re hoping for), but it is not the anger you receive.
“Why did you have to say this now?” He asks you, exasperated. It surprises you and your eyes follow him as he stands from the steps, suddenly in front of you. “Now, when - you know I’m in a relationship.”
“I know,” you say, brows furrowing. You set your drink on the concrete next to you. “I’m not trying to get you to break up with Ashley, I’m not telling you this because -”
“Then what are you getting at?” Seokmin demands. “You don’t just confess to somebody to do it!”
Your brain can barely process what’s happening, but you stand up, too, like it might make him understand. “Do you even…” you start, swallowing. “Do you even know how hard it’s been to come to terms with this? How much I’ve worried if you’d still be my friend after I told you?”
Seokmin rolls his eyes and for the first time in a long time it’s not in the playful way you’ve grown to love. “There’s no reason to tell me if you’re not expecting me to feel the same,” he says, voice low. “You shouldn’t have said anything at all.”
And that… that hurts, for some reason, makes you physically take a step back. Both you and Seokmin see it, and you can tell he already feels bad, but he stands his ground, and that hurts even more. You grab all of your things off of the steps, pay no mind to the heat on your face and the shakiness of your hands. You don’t look at Seokmin as you leave.
You’re on a flight the next morning.
-
When you get back home your first instinct is to figure all of your shit out. You get into high gear looking for an apartment, put in extra hours at work, consider making a drastic change to your appearance because for a solid week you think it’ll solve all of your problems. You’re able to find an apartment and set a move in date, and things start to look good again.
You don’t forget about Seokmin, but you act like you do. Maybe it’ll be easier.
(It’s not.)
You don’t know how long this will last, the not talking to Seokmin and changing the subject whenever someone brings him up. A small, sick part of you wants to really forget about him, completely, because what happens after this? If the two of you make up… as upset as you are, you still love him. You don’t know if you’d take it all back, but you miss your best friend… before anything else, he was your person. After everything, you miss him in that way the most.
(Is it even right for you to miss him in a way you never had him?)
You’re organizing your kitchen, putting your dishes and cooking-ware in their newly designated spots, mumbling along to the songs playing through your phone. It’s not the most flashy apartment, but you’re happy to have your own place.
You’re not expecting any company, given you moved in yesterday, so when you hear a knock on your door, it startles you a bit. You turn off your music and stare at the door like it’ll give you the ability to see who’s outside, then figure it might be your landlord checking in. You leave the plate you were holding on the counter and make your way through the stacks of boxes towards the door.
When you open it, not bothering to look through the peephole, Seokmin’s standing in front of you.
There’s a second where neither of you speak, just looking at each other like weirdos, and then he says, “hi.”
A wave of emotions crashes into you at the sound of his voice, and it takes everything in you to hold it all back. “Hi,” you respond, because there’s not very much else you can say.
You’re not really angry anymore.
“Can I, um…” he starts, pushing his hands into his pockets. “Can I come in?”
“Yeah,” you say, blinking. You open the door wider for him to come in. “Sorry, it’s a bit of a mess, I still haven’t gotten everything put away yet…”
You shut and lock the door, and Seokmin follows you into the apartment. You stand by the kitchen counter, leaning against it, and he stands a few feet away in the empty living room. It’s quiet, which is strange, because it was never quiet with you two. But it’s been a few months since you’ve even spoken to each other, kindly at that, so you think you can allow a moment of unfamiliarity.
Seokmin says, “I want to apologize to you.”
You blink at him a few times, watching as he looks down at his feet and then back up to you. “I’m sorry I freaked out at you like that. I don’t know… what it was like, dealing with it, for you, and it was wrong of me to act like that. I guess I had just been waiting a really long time to hear you say it, and you said it at the worst possible time.”
You barely register it. Seokmin looks at you and you notice that his roots have grown in, and then you see the sun from your living room window shining onto his back, and it feels like silk, the knowledge, like a breath of fresh air. You clench and unclench your hands and feel it. “You…” you start, but you don’t even know what you’re going to say. You remember Ashley. “Wait, but - Ashley?”
Seokmin takes a step closer to you and you wait. “I broke up with her the day after you left,” he tells you. “I knew I needed to but I also knew I’d need some time afterwords, too… so that’s why I’m here now.”
It feels like shock, like your entire body is weighted down, because even - even with everyone always asking about when you’d start dating, even with it being so long now that you’ve loved him and known of it, even when Seokmin is standing in front of you, it feels surreal. You barely notice that there’s little space between the two of you, and you wonder who moved and how fast.
“Is this it?” You ask him, soft, reaching up to put your hand against the side of Seokmin’s face. He leans into it. “Is the timing finally right?”
His hand falls over yours. “I think so,” he murmurs, lips pressing a kiss against your palm. His fingers move over your own before intertwining them together, the afternoon sun dressing both of you in gold and you can’t think, can’t do anything but look at Seokmin. You lean up, closer to him, a question. He pulls you closer as an answer. “No more waiting.”
His kiss feels like a million unsaid words.

➳➳➳➳➳➳➳
“Dad,” Sian says, tugging on his dad’s arm. “Can we ride that?” He points to the rollercoaster behind them. Jungkook turns, squinting at the sun as he looks up at the huge rollercoaster. Incredicoaster is what it’s called. They were in Disneyland after all. California Adventures to be specific. The whole family, along with the Park family, are currently on their second day of their short vacation in California.
“I don’t know, are you tall enough?” He looks at his son and smiles. Sian had actually gotten a bit taller in the past few months.
“I think so, that kid is in line,” he says, pointing to a kid that looks to be his height and age.
“Alright, we can ride it then,” Jungkook says.
“Me me!” Lily says, hugging her dad’s neck tighter. Jungkook laughs as his daughter bounces as he’s carrying her, pointing at the roller coaster as well.
“You’re too small, princess,” Jungkook says, pushing her bangs back. “Maybe when you turn 2.”
“And grow 3 feet,” Sian says, poking his baby sister’s cheek when she pouts.
“Meanwhile, me and Gyu will be riding the carousel with baby sister, right?” Jimin says, holding onto Mingyu’s hand. Mingyu looks up at him and nods.
“And Lily and I will join you,” Rina says, reaching out for her baby girl. “You wanna go on the ride with Gyu oppa and Mina?”
“Yes!” Lily yells.
“Alright, well-- why don’t you ride it with us Sian?” Rina says, changing her mind.
“I thought me and dad were going to ride the rollercoaster…”
“Yeah, can we go afterwards? I kind of want to see you ride your first roller coaster,” Rina pouts. I guess that’s where Lily got it from. Sian is just the exact copy of his dad and now he’s bigger and he likes to do all the dangerous things that his dad likes to do. Like wanting to go bungee jumping and skydiving and skateboarding without helmets.
Not that this rollercoaster is as dangerous as those three, but it’s a big deal.
For her (not so) little boy.
“Okay mommy,” Sian says, walking over to his mom.
“Alright, now give me back my baby girl,” Jungkook says, reaching out for Lily. Lily laughs as she reaches for her dad and Rina passes her over.
“So Jessie’s Critter Carousel first?” Yuna says, holding onto Mina tightly as she squirms in her arms. The rest of the group nods. “Okay, well let’s hurry because the line is actually short for this one.”
-
“Did you like it?” Jimin says. They just finished the kiddy ride. This time he was the one carrying Mina. She smiles up at him and goes, ‘mm.’
That means yes.
“What about you, did you like it?” Sian says, now he was holding his sister’s hand. She’s about one and a half and she can walk pretty well. But only when it’s her brother holding her hand she behaves.
“Yeah!” She responds.
“Dad, are we going to go on the rollercoaster now?” Sian asks, turning to Jungkook. He had his arm over Rina’s shoulder. He nods.
“You wanna ride with us?” Jungkook asks his wife, she shakes her head no.
“Maybe when Lily is big enough.”
“When you’re tall like me, you can sit next to me on a rollercoaster, okay?” Sian says, patting her head. “For now you have to stay with mommy.”
“I wanna ride, let’s ride it daddy,” Mingyu says, pulling on his dad’s pant leg. “I wanna ride the rollercoaster with hyung.”
“You’re too small to ride it,” Jimin says. “Maybe in a few years, when you’re Sian hyung’s age okay?” Mingyu pouts, walking up to Yuna and hugging her legs.
“Don’t be sad, we can ride other rides okay?” Yuna says, petting his head. He nods, softly.
Jimin frowns, looking down at his daughter.
“Did- did you poop?” He says, lifting her up and sniffing. “Ooh-- oh no, yup. Time to go to mommy.” Jimin says, passing her down to Yuna. She rolls her eyes at him.
“We’ll be back I guess,” she says. “Go stay with daddy,” she tells Mingyu, walking away. “Go ahead and go in line.” She tells the rest of the group.
“I’ll go with you,” Rina says. “Wanna come baby?” She says, turning to Lily and extending her arm out to her. Lily grabs her hand and excitedly runs toward the direction of where Yuna and Mina were at.
“We’ll be in front of the rollercoaster when we come back so we can watch you two,” Rina yells back as her daughter drags her.
“I’ll be there with Mingyu then while Jungkook and Sian are in line,” Jimin yells at them. Yuna holds up an okay sign.
“Okay, we’ll get in line then,” Jungkook tells his hyung, patting his back.
“Okay, Gyu and I will be right over there,” Jimin points.
“Alright, we'll see you soon,” Jungkook says, walking off. He swings his arm over his son’s shoulders, walking to the end of the line with him.
“So are you ready for your first big rollercoaster?” Jungkook asks Sian.
“Yeah, you always talk about how fun it is.”
“This is just the beginning. We’re going to do so many more things after this.”
“If mommy lets us,” Sian says, making Jungkook laugh.
“Yeah, only if mommy says so,” Jungkook says.
“Aww look at that, Sian hyung and my little Jungkook are so big now,” Jimin says, watching the two walk off. “One day that’ll be you and I. But right now you’re going to stay as my little baby, right?” Jimin looks down and his eyes widens when he realizes he wasn’t talking to anyone. He spins in a circle, looking everywhere.
“MINGYU?” Jimin yells. He sighs, putting his hands on his head. “Oh my gosh, your mother’s going to kill me.”
He doesn’t know where he could’ve ended up or when he disappeared.
Jimin was panicking and his breathing was getting quicker. He didn’t even know where to start looking.
“Excuse me,” he says, walking up to a cast member. That’s what they call employees around here. “Did you see a little korean boy walking around alone? He’s about this tall. He’s wearing a black and white striped shirt and blue shorts. He also has a yellow fanny pack across his chest.”
“I’m sorry, I did not see any boy alone, but if any other cast member does see him, they would either stay with them or you can find them at the Baby Care Center.”
“Okay, thank you,” Jimin says, walking away. He looks both sides, trying to see if he’ll be able to spot him anywhere. Maybe he was nearby.
“Jimin!” Yuna calls. The girls run up to him.
“Are the boys in line already?” Rina asks. Their faces drop when they see Jimin’s expression.
“What’s wrong?” Yuna asks, she looks down and around, noticing her son wasn’t there. “Where’s Gyu?” Jimin shakes his head.
“I- I don’t know, I look-- I looked down and he was gone,” his breath was shaky and his palms were sweating.
“Okay, well let’s calm down. He knows what to do when he gets lost, we talked about this to him before we got here. It’s okay honey.” Yuna says, rubbing his back. “It’s okay, we’ll find him.”
“Do you think he was hungry and ran to a churro cart,” Rina says, looking around.
“Maybe he got distracted with something,” Yuna says, starting to walk off.
“There!” Lily points. There were a couple of face characters standing nearby. Woody and Jesse to be specific.
“It’s Gyu’s favorite,” Jimin says, running off. Mingyu rewatched all four movies before coming here.
There was a crowd around the two characters and Jimin politely pushed past them. Getting nasty stares from a few people.
“Mingyu?” Jimin calls out. Rina, Yuna, Lily, and Mina made their way to where Jimin was as well.
“Daddy!” Mingyu yells happily when he sees his dad’s face. He was standing right next to a cast member. Just like what Yuna told him to do to if he ever did get lost.
Jimin felt his heart stop and he dropped down at his son’s level in relief.
“You nearly gave me a heart attack, come here,” he says, spreading his arms for a hug. Mingyu laughs, running into his dad’s chest.
“Look! Woody and Jesse!” He yells happily. The two characters wave at him.
Jimin waves back.
“Would you like to take a picture?” One of the cast members asked him. Jimin was about to shake his head no when Mingyu yelled ‘Yes please!’
Jimin laughs, handing them his phone camera. He picks Mingyu up, holding him tightly.
The two then stood between the two characters and held up V signs.
“How cute!” One of the cast members says. Jimin thanks the lady as she hands him back his phone and he walks up to his wife and daughter.
“I literally almost started crying,” Jimin says, hugging Mingyu tighter and pressing his cheek against his.
“I know your voice was shaking,” Yuna says. “Don’t do that again okay buddy? Ask daddy next time to take you instead of going on your own.” Mingyu pouts, nodding his head in shame.
“I’m sorry,” Mingyu says, turning to hug Jimin’s neck.
“It’s okay, it’s over now,” Jimin says, rubbing his back.
“Okay, Jungkook just texted me that they’re almost on. Let’s go over there so we can watch them take off,” Rina says, pointing to the spot they were supposed to meet at.
“Let’s watch hyung okay?” Jimin says, moving his head back to look at his son.
“Okay, so next time I can ride it,” Mingyu says as they walk back.
“Yeah, when you're big like hyung.”
