#alpey telling bari to keep his head up! theres 80 more games! and they need him!! HE HOLDS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR OTHERS BCS HE HOLDS EVEN HIGHER ONES FOR HIMSELF#he is JUST trying his best and wants others to bring their best as well! and he knows this isnt his best and hes DEVASTATED#it's so jarring to see him this way π HES SO SAD!! idk how alpey didnt instantly hug him after his weak lil nod#and his mute puppy eye look upward to him ARGH it was SO pitiful and SO opposite from the usual jabari workaholic intensity#alpey choosing love and going over to help clear jabaris head since he knows all those times he was yelled at werent personal#and with that he knows he needs to get jabari out of his own personal troubles like ! jaba i know ure upset! this is upsetting! i understand#but there are 80 more games.. and this is ur second year. we Need u.#LIKE! ARGGG while i wish it was jalen stepping up as leader i think it's rlly impactful for alpey being jabari's leader here#jabari is. competitive. he knows that mainly when he has to apologize abt taking things too seriously to others lol#but when it's a situation against urself and the only one who can reel u back into realization IS urself..#but alpey KNOWS jabari's tendencies enough not Just to be aware when it's being used on him.. but when it's being used period#ARGGHH it's just the fact that hes AWARE of some of jabari's faults toward him AND himself & he CHOOSES to help him#on BOTH like!
