Woah, thanks for all the numbers! I did 7 in the previous post, but let's see:
17. "opinion on insecurities" hahaha, I didn't even read all of these before I reblogged that thing! My most immediate reaction is that sometimes when you're trying to have an honest reckoning with your flaws and handicaps, people tell you you're just being insecure, and this is one of the central frustrations of my entire existence. If you're forced to constantly pretend that you're awesome and capable of anything, it makes it a lot harder to come to terms with what isn't working. But everyone has insecurities I think, they're probably unavoidable. I guess some people base their entire personality around an insecurity and that's not great, but I think the only thing to do is to try to be honest and lucid about your weaknesses. That's the only point you can proceed from.
27. If I gave you a real accounting of all the things I hate, you would regret it! It's a lot of things, TOO MANY things. I'll just pick one for now: I hate movies about characters who are sort of reclusive, where other characters mob up on them and force them to participate in society as if this is a great gift, as if all human beings want the same thing and that thing is extreme amounts of attention and activity, as if no human being could possibly just enjoy their own company and some peace and quiet. There are a lot of variations on this theme but a good example is THE STATION AGENT. I was like, what the fuck, leave that guy alone!
37. Hmm I also have a lot of favorite actors since I spend most of my time watching movies. Last night I rewatched the incredible THE WORLD'S GREATEST SINNER and I was thinking about how Timothy Carey is like Nicolas Cage before Nicolas Cage, like they're descended from the same stock somehow. They even look alike to me. And then I was thinking about how Michael Moriarty has that same kind of manic, improvisational energy, and all three men are tall. Actually Nic Cage isn't as tall as I always think he is, but Moriarty is 6'3" and Carey was a little over. So Timothy Carey and Nicolas Cage have more similar faces, but Michael Moriarty and Timothy Carey are more the same height. I do not know what this is meant to prove.
47. "Turn ons," eh? I'm prejudicially inclined toward people who are really smart and articulate, but I also like it when people are strangely naive and sweet. I like hairy, vascular forearms and hands, and glasses, and widow's peaks. I like people who have obsessions. I'm totally straight but I'm fascinated by tough, androgynous women and tomboys. I like men who look like weird movie villains. I am attracted to basically all weird movie villains.
But now I want to volunteer one "turn off" from #48, which is that I have zero tolerance for people who are really into deliriously dysfunctional sadomasochistic relationships. Which is what most media will tell you is "true love" or something, and it does look pretty good from the outside, I mean who doesn't want to dissolve into a morbid, swooning obsession? But having experienced a couple of those things, it became very clear to me that they are essentially infantile, ugly, and stupid, and people who insist on that dynamic are like a baby who cries over their shitty diaper and pisses in your face when you try to change it for them. I almost miss being able to enjoy that type of libidinous delirium, but the whole thought of it just makes me sick now. People who pretend to be vampires are never as cool as they want you to think they are.
57. My favorite animal is all reptiles. I like a lot of animals, but reptiles and amphibians more than anything. Right now I'm doing this study of Italian cannibal movies which I knew were full of animal cruelty, but somehow I managed to forget that reptiles seem to get the worst of it. :(

adventuring rambles #1
HAHAHA I TOTALLY DIDN'T KEEL OVER BECAUSE OF SICKNESS, FINALS, AND GENERALLY JUST PERISHING LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT AT ALL anyway, so i'm currently deep in the brain rot (i have been the entire time gone, u think this shit goes away? no, no it doesn't, i live here now) and i was thinkin abt like, yk, how time works in Teyvat. cuz like me personally i didn't start playing till after Sumeru (and my acc is as old as Inazuma release but i didnt play cuz reasons), but every nation is updated like what, every year or so? so, therefore, at least in my opinion (and thus my h/c's b/c SUE ME) the traveler is in each nation for about a year. which means Lumi's in Mondstadt for a year after the Dvalin thing, doing generally good deeds and getting commissions and figuring out how Mora and stuff works (bc this IS a new world for her, girl doesn't know EVERYTHING yet) so there's a year of her helping out around Mondstadt, working w/ Kaeya and essentially doing team building b/c he's gonna be traveling w/ her when the Rite of Descension finally comes around, wringing Paimon for information on everything she can (girl is feral for info on Teyvat), all that jazz. which makes sense; the Traveler comes to be Very Well Known TM and while fighting a dragon is cool i doubt that's the ONLY reason she gets to be well known, right?
anyway, this massive prelude is just me yapping abt how they totally go to Dragonspine nearer the end of the year to do stuff. and the only reason they CAN go to Dragonspine is b/c they meet Bennett (who Lumi immediately wants to adopt b/c HE'S A BABY), and Benny offers to take 'em up there. :) so,,, i like to imagine that when they're up in Dragonspine, doing everything that has to do w/ that place, a silly thing happens where Lumi and Kaeya kinda get separated from Bennett and like,,, trapped in a place and almost get murdered by a Frostarm Lawlachurl (i have horrible trauma w/ that one fucker by the goddamn crimson tree. he may be dead but i will never forget the fear). anyway, so Kaeya literally almost dies, and it culminates w/ Lumi almost dying to sheer cold to get him to a waypoint, and then her refusing to leave him while he's getting patched up b/c uh oh abandonment issues! (dw abt Bennett and Paimon btw, they made it back to Mondstadt to try and get help; tho tbf that was also an arduous journey in of itself)
now, u must be asking; why did i come up w/ this idea?
b/c it was the best way to express the general Dragonspine experience, and also bc i CAN. totally didn't also write a love confession afterwards, no not at all, i'm not a psychopath
after this, Lumi never goes to Dragonspine w/o AT LEAST 15 warming bottles. and after she finds out abt portable waypoints, u know for a FACT she carries 5 on her at All Times. also Kaeya would never admit it but he gets a little stressed around Frostarm Lawlachurls now.
anyway i WILL Return TM w/ the silly goofy Liyue chapter (at least everything i can FUCKIN REMEMBER BRO (tho i DID take notes when my friend redid it so!! :)c))

OXENFREE my beloved. Would you mind sharing your thoughts? It's always a pleasure to hear what people think of the game, especially to have a Before and After reaction to a normal vs NG+
HELLO I'M SO SORRY I KEPT FORGETTING TO ANSWER THIS
anyway uhhh. yeah. Thoughts. okay well for starters, I haven't actually started a NG+ yet bc I wanted to let the story percolate for a few days before I launched back in, so I was playing something totally different in the meantime. I finished that a couple days ago though so I think I'm gonna head back to Oxenfree next
my first play was a kind playthrough, because... that's just what I'm like lol. I really want to do a silent run bc I think that's an interesting concept and also bc anytime my dialogue choice interrupted one of the other characters I was like... NO I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SAYING lmao. I also like... kind of want to do a mean run, for the sake of learning as much of the story as possible, but I also don't know if I have the heart for it lmao?? there are many games that give you the chance to be a dick and I am ALWAYS bad at taking that option. it makes me feel terrible hahaha
I absolutely loved the game's mechanics and setup. video games are most interesting to me personally as a vehicle for narrative, and Oxenfree tells the story so well. dialogue being a major portion of the gameplay? listening to conversations as you move and choosing not only what to say but when to speak or stay silent... is such an interesting and engaging gameplay device. like I said before, sometimes I almost didn't want to choose a dialogue option, because I wanted to hear out the rest of what the other characters were saying.
and the story itself is so good. I am SUCH a sucker for character-driven stories, and on top of that, the family relationship(s) absolutely got me. Alex is a youngest sibling and I'm an oldest, so we differ in that regard, but it's still true that I'm incredibly close with my siblings, so stories that deal with siblings who love each other will always pull at my heartstrings. (this one, I'm sure you can guess, broke my heart.) even the very fresh but developing relationship between Alex and Jonas was really interesting to me.
I'm also a huge sucker for supernatural horror, and horror that effectively explores interesting human themes without being All Highfalutin Metaphor. Oxenfree pulls off both with an incredibly charming and straightforward, low-tech sort of mechanic for exploring said horror. I love that you don't even have to go looking for the backstory if you don't want to; all the explanations and history are pretty much secondary to the main plotline that you're made to follow. (which has interesting RP implications, too - are you playing Alex as curious enough to go looking for all the weird broadcasts and letters, or as too angry and/or scared to care?)
I love the game. its scope is perfect. just a few characters to care about, but enough that there are complex relationships to unravel and not quite enough time to delve into all of them. this weird little island that you can explore in pretty much any order and direction you like, with lots of secrets to be found if you want to look. the really effectively spooky atmosphere. the weird implications about ghosts and possible afterlives, about time and maybe time travel, about the relationships between life and death, between the living and the dead... PLUS great, vibey art, and gloriously realistic branching dialogue with great voice acting, and weird scary ghosts(?), and emotionally intense choices to make...
I'm sure with more time my thoughts will crystallise further - not to mention with more plays. I'll try to remember to come back and share any further feedback I have! it's the kind of game that I think I'll have intelligent things to say about in another like, month or two, once I've mulled over it for longer and/or talk to someone else about it, hehe. I'm trying to get my youngest sibling to play it, bc they'd LOVE it.

2-1
(Reluctantly, Obanai and Sanemi along with Uzui and Rengoku followed the trio of boys. Kaito and Enko were further ahead among the late-night crowd, but Ren was a little further back. In an instant he turned his head, but the Four of them had hidden, after that they didn't give it any importance and continued on their way. Finally, Kaito, Enko and Ren entered through an alley, but the Hashiras stayed outside it for a moment hesitating, gathering courage to enter that dark place… upon reaching the entrance, there were a couple of men and a poorly made sign read "brothel". A familiar female voice came from the door, whispering, calling for their attention from the darkness)
Tsubame: (in an annoy tone) What the hell? Why did you take so long? Kaito: Sorry, Tsubame, but we had to teach the guy we talked about at the circus a lesson.
Ren: The same one you pulled that practical joke on… honestly, you could have been funnier (he said while giggled) Tsubame: Tsk, shut up, darf, you better get in, the guys are almost ready and all you need to do is get ready. Enko, Yoru wanted to finish the juice this time with Yuuko, you don't have a problem with that I guess Enko: Hehe, Yoru is better with the potions than Kaito, he is like the third or fourth person I trust in that things, I don't even trust Kaito with my monkey Kaito: Hey... Ren: HAHAHA Enko is right, Kaito, you cannot be trusted with anything because of your clumsiness in those things Tsubame: Hey, shh, less blah blah and more action, stupid, this job must be done and we don't want anyone to hear us talk about juice… but yes, Kaito, you will be strong but I would never assign you to something where you have to apply your head in chemical studies (she giggled with the guys as they entered)
(The Hashiras looked at each other strangely when they heard that strange dialogue, however, they decided to go in, although…)
Obanai: to 1 to 10, how important is it to enter? Uzui: A lot, now I'm curious... Obanai: What about your bag with the money? Shinazugawa: Yeah, I want my money, Tengen (In the door, a robust man spoke to them with a thick voice) The guard: Hey, are you going to join or do I have to throw you out? Rengoku: Oh, yes, of course, sir, right, guys? (Obanai and Shinazugawa mumbled some words as Uzui decidedly nodded, so they get in the brothel. The lights were down and the environment was dark, it smelled like tobacco and something they had never smelled in their lives. The guard at the door directed them where to go and gave them some last orders) The guard: ok, today will be the main show here, if you want… something else with one of the ladies, it's an extra charge. (The guard left and the boys were perplexed and Shinazugawa and Rengoku were red) Uzui: It's not the same as the red light district, but it looks… interesting Rengoku: I don't want to sleep with a lady... Obanai: Me neither...
Shinazugawa: And who says we have to sleep with someone today? Tengen, I want my fucking money, tsk... Ok, at least, this smells like a trapped cat...
------------------------------- [Elsewhere in the brothel] Ryoko: Pst, guys, are you ready? (The fired-girl asked as Yoru, Yuuko and Enko were finishing putting a liquid in a vial at the same time that Enko finished putting on a turban over himself. They were dressed like people from the Middle East) Yoru: Almost ready, it is the first time that we will do a show with this theme to go unnoticed, is the rest ready? Ryoko: Yeah, Kumiko is just rushing us… I think he's going to want to kill you for delaying with Kaito and Ren, Enko Enko: Miko? (He said giggling) I don't think so, she just wants to complete this mission so that we can all have something to drink, that girl so big for her age… it is likely that she evaluated the situation very well in less time than I expected (by the time he finished speaking, they were totally ready) Tsubame: (appeared) Hey, quick, the show is goint to begin... Yuuko, Ryoko, don't forget to comb your hair or put on a wig, today we didn't have enough for everyone, but we did have accessories... -------------------
(The Hashiras were sat down in the ground when the show suddenly started. First, two girls of the same height appeared to the sound of the drums and bells that began the music. Her eyes were familiar, but her hair was different. In slow and sensual movements, a short girl and a very tall girl entered, both with their hair down, dancing to each of the people present who were there, until finally a girl with jet black hair and a bit tanned appeared, but she had those eyes, blue like the summer sky.)

Super Fighting Roll (3-2)
(While Roll faces off against more of Doctor Cossack’s robots, her friends find themselves presented with challenges of their own.)
Tempo watched LaLinde type away, her console connected by a great web of wires to a contraption set up on a nearby workbench.  It started out resembling a box, but as LaLinde typed, it unfolded, shifted, extended, shrank—it transformed again and again, until it jerked to a stop and, with a smoking burst of sparks, began to melt.
“Darn!” LaLinde said, smacking the console.  “There’s so many things to balance: the reinforcement, the bonding agent, the power amplifier...”
A chime caught her attention.  “Noelle?” came Dr. Light’s voice.  “Are you there?”
“Oh, Thomas.  Yes, I’m listening.”
“I have good news and bad news.  Roll managed to defeat the Robot Masters we detected, but now Cossack has sent out a second batch of them.”
LaLinde rubbed her temples.  “I had a feeling it wouldn’t be quite so easy…”
“Is Roll okay?” Tempo asked.
“She’s a bit banged up, but we’re repairing her right now,” Light said. “How are things on your end?”
“About as you’d expect,” LaLinde said, staring at the pile of slag that was once a semi-functional machine.  “How much longer do you think it’ll take for Auto to finish pinpointing Cossack’s position?”
“It shouldn’t be long now—a day at most, I’d wager.”
“Hm. Well, we’ll keep trying.  If we manage a breakthrough, we'll let you know immediately.”
“I know if anyone can do it, it’s you, Noelle.  Take care.”
LaLinde sighed.  As she began to pick apart the wiring, she said, “These are useless now.  Tempo, could you grab another crate of wires from the warehouse?  I should have this just about cleaned up by the time you get back.”
“Got it.”
The exterior of LaLinde Laboratories was covered in all manner of greenery, making it look more like a garden than a lab.  When she had just about reached the warehouse, Tempo spotted movement in the nearby bushes.  Upon closer inspection, she found a Robot Master with a honeycomb-shaped body pulling weeds, a half dozen or so bumblebees lazily orbiting him.
“There we are, little ones!  That should keep your favorite flowers safe and sound.”  He looked up as Tempo drew closer.  “Oh, hey sis!  How’s you and mom’s science project coming along?”
“Not well,” Tempo said.  “I’m really doubting our chances of getting it working in time to help Roll.”
“Aw, too bad.  But, Roll knows what she’s doing.  I’m sure she’ll pull through.”
Tempo’s gaze turned skyward, watching the clouds drift by.  “How can we be sure, Hornet Man?  We can’t plan for everything.  What if one of these new Robot Masters is able to get the better of her, and something terrible happens?”
Hornet Man cocked his head.  “...How long has this been bothering you?”
Tempo looked back at the ground.  “For a while now.  Roll’s definitely incredible—her bravery has really inspired me.  But...bravery isn’t enough on its own.”
“She’s got more than that,” Hornet Man said, picking up a watering can.  “She’s got the determination and power to back it up, right?”
Tempo watched her brother in silence for a moment.  “But she has to face it all herself.”
Hornet Man chuckled.  “What about Rush?”
“Rush does make a difference, but still.  Even if it helped me endure it, being brave isn’t what healed me.  I was only able to get to where I am now because of you and mom.  You’ve both done everything you can to support me, and to help shoulder the burden any way you can.  We’re able to offer Roll some support, but…”
Hornet Man turned to look at her.  “You aren’t convinced it’s enough to make a real difference.”
Tempo crouched, examining a row of flowers.  “I’m not.  She’s still out there fighting by herself, again and again.  That’s her real burden, and I think it’s affecting her more than she admits...maybe even more than she realizes.”
One of Hornet Man’s bees drew near.  Tempo held out her finger, letting it land, and then gently brought it to one of the flowers.
“If things stay the way they are...I’m scared of what might happen to her. How she might change.  Lately she just looks so disillusioned all the time, forcing a smile for everyone else’s sake.  But I’ve learned that to really smile...you also have to be able to cry when you need to.  Emotions are a package deal—and no matter how awful they can feel sometimes, we need them.  Roll will only make herself miserable if she keeps her heart totally closed off like this.”
Hornet Man knelt beside Tempo, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Okay.  So.  How are you going to get her to open her heart?”
Tempo thought for a very long time.  Before her, more bees began to join their companion on the flowers. Finally, she said, “I can think of one way.  But I don’t know if Mom will agree.”
“Tell her anyway.”  Hornet Man grabbed both of Tempo’s shoulders now, looking straight into her eyes. “Listen...I can’t guarantee Mom will understand, but if anything does happen to Roll, you’ll regret keeping quiet. And that regret will eat away at you, make you close off your own heart again.  I don’t want to see that happen to you, Tempo, so please: be honest about how you feel.  Fight for Roll’s happiness, sure, but don’t forget to fight for your own too.”
Tempo stared at him for a moment.  Then, with a nod, she said, “Thank you.”
She headed back to the lab; Hornet Man sighed and got back to his feet.  A bee landed on his arm.  Chuckling to it, he said, “Me, I need a little more time to build up my nerve...”
***
Blues ducked behind a tree as the robot he was following came to a stop. The snowy forest was almost eerily quiet—the crunching of snow beneath his feet had nearly given him away—and, after taking a look around, the robot moved aside some brush to reveal a trap door. He disappeared into it, and Blues waited a few moments before going over for a better look.
Hard to say what’s beyond this point.  Still, I didn’t come all this way for nothing.
Blues armed his laser cannon.  Keeping his shield high, he quickly threw open the door and leapt down, trying to survey his surroundings as swiftly as possible but finding the interior too dark to determine much of anything.  Carefully, he took a single step.  The lights flashed on, his visor the only thing protecting him from being blinded. The chamber was smaller than he had hoped, maybe one-eighth the size of a football field; scrap metal lay heaped against the walls, and a door with an electronic lock waited on the far side of the room.  Immediately before it stood his target.
“Heh heh, glad you could make it!” the strange robot said.  “I’ve been real eager to meet you, Bre...well, what should I call you?  Hah hah hah!”
Blues shuddered.  The machine’s voice sounded like a dozen speaking at once, each with their own intonation and speed—it almost made him seasick to listen.  Setting that aside, he said, “Seems I need to work on my stealth. You already know me, so why don’t you introduce yourself?”
“I’m a failed prototype just like you.  RKN-000, Doc Robot.”
“RKN, huh?  Who made you?”
Doc chuckled.  “Take a guess.”
“Hmph.  I thought so. This does go beyond Cossack after all.”
Taking a few steps forward, Doc said, “You’re a smart guy, Break Man. But not a healthy one, from what I hear. Why are you out risking your well-being like this?  Tell you what: I’ve got some connections.  If I put in a good word for you, you could get one nice recharge, no strings attached.  How about it?”
Blues smirked.  “Hm. You really don’t want me finding out what’s behind that door, do you?  Now I have to know.”
Doc crossed his arms.  “...Is that your final answer?”
Blues made his point with his laser cannon.  Doc leapt aside and extended one hand, summoning a Metal Blade to it.
“What a shame.”
Blues blocked the projectile with his shield, which let Doc close in and grab it. He ripped the shield away in an instant, shocking Blues into backing off, and then began shooting Needle Cannon spikes.  Blues evaded and shot Doc in the leg before reclaiming his shield.
That’s definitely a Variable Weapons System.  I can’t be sure which weapons he’s got, so I’ll have to stay on my toes.
A Hyper Bomb bounced harmlessly off Blues’s shield, but before he could think of countering, Doc used Air Shooter to send the explosive skidding right past him just as its fuse ran out.  After rolling with the blast, Blues leaned to one side as he came up to avoid being decapitated by another Metal Blade.  Doc fired a Gemini Laser and protected himself with a Leaf Shield, laughing as he watched Blues carefully weave around the ricocheting beam.  The instant the laser faded, Doc fired a Magnet Missile to keep Blues off-balance, finally hitting him with a Hard Knuckle that slammed him into the wall.
“You’re losing your touch!” Doc said.  “Guess I shoulda known defectives like us have a shorter shelf life!”
Blues raised his shield.  Defective...is he really?  The VWS seems to be working just fine.  He must have some weakness I haven’t picked up on yet.  What could it be...
He lowered his stance as he blocked a Thunder Beam.  He fired back as fast as he could, but Doc jumped out of the way and used Bubble Lead, forcing Blues to make his own leap over the low attack.  A string of Shadow Blades met him, but he endured the pain—landing, he rushed at Doc with his shield, and when the other robot batted it away, he thrust his cannon forward and seared a hole in the side of his torso.  Shrieking, Doc sent him flying back with Top Spin.
“Huh...sneaky.  But not good enough!”
A familiar sensation came over Blues.  Recognizing it as Time Stopper, he feigned being affected by the weapon until Doc fired an Ice Slasher, dodging and striking back with his cannon.
“What?!”
“I may not be able to use it myself any more,” Blues said, “but I was still modified to be immune to that weapon.  Surprised you didn’t know that.”
Doc gripped his buster and growled.  “Well, I ain’t exactly short on options.”
In rapid succession he fired a Rolling Cutter, Quick Boomerang, and Magnet Missile.  It wasn’t easy, but Blues was able to dodge all three.  With so little space in which to do so, however, Doc had the chance to stick a Crash Bomber to his shield in the process.  Blues managed to stay on his feet as the explosion shook him, but that’s when Doc charged forward cloaked in flames, using Blues’s own shield to pin him to the wall.
“You’re an idiot for following me out here, Break Man,” Doc said.  “What was your goal, anyway?”
Blues pushed back to keep the shield from crushing him, only just succeeding. “Heh...hard to say.  I’m pretty used to doing things with no real goal in mind. Gotta find some way to pass the time.”
Doc sneered through the opening in the shield.  “You shouldn’t have stuck your nose where it didn’t belong!  Now your time’s up!”
Blues smirked.  “It’s been up for a while.”
He activated his laser cannon, part of the beam making it through the shield’s opening and blowing out Doc’s eye.  The robot stumbled back, wailing in his chorus of voices, giving Blues enough time to get on his feet.  He activated his cannon again, sweeping the beam in pursuit of Doc.  Running out of room fast, Doc tossed a Hyper Bomb into the middle of the beam, the makeshift smokescreen giving him a chance to stun Blues with Spark Shock.
“Alright, I’m mad now!” Doc said as he aimed the weapons on his back.  “I’ll melt you down!”
A torrent of fire flooded the room.  Blues did his best to endure the tide, but soon his shield grew too hot to keep hold of.  When he could bear it no longer, he dropped the shield and slid to the side.  A Metal Blade sliced across his chest.  He reeled, and a Hard Knuckle slammed him into the wall.  Doc assaulted him with Bubble Lead as he hit the floor, soaking him to amplify the effect of the following Ice Slasher, before finally unleashing a Thunder Beam that left Blues lying still.
“Heh heh...that’s more like it.”  Doc slowly walked forward, fiddling with the settings on his buster.  “It was always gonna end this way, you know. Whatever weapon ammo you had left after fighting Roll couldn’t have lasted very long, meanwhile I was built specifically to push the limits of what the VWS is capable of!”
He stopped next to Blues’s discarded shield, kicking it up and grabbing it. Blues began to stir.
“But I’ll give you credit: you’re not quite as fragile as I was led to believe.” He came even closer, aiming his buster at Blues’s open chest wound.  “Not quite.”
Feeling around, Blues’s fingers wrapped around one of the pieces of scrap littering the floor.  With nothing else, he swung it forward as he pushed himself up—Doc’s Crash Bomb stuck fast to the end of the fragmented sheet of metal, detonating when it made contact with him.  Doc took the brunt of the explosion, but Blues still shuddered terribly.  Seeing that Doc had dropped his shield, he scooped it up quickly, and then hid behind it to try to catch his breath.
That must be it...which means…
Doc yelled.  “Just stay down already!  You stupid, rotten, good-for-nothing defective!”
Even hotter flames spilled from Doc’s weapons this time, and with the help of Top Spin he molded them into a fiery whirlwind that rampaged across the chamber.  Blues stood his ground.
That just leaves one question...which of us will give out first?
Doc fired off a Gemini Laser, and that was when Blues sprang into action. Charging forward, he bashed his still-searing shield into his foe, then spun and used its edge to damage his arm joint. The Gemini Laser forced them both to move apart.  Forming another Leaf Shield, Doc held his injured arm and glared at Blues.
“How much more is this going to take?” Doc asked.
Blues grinned.  “How much more do you have to give?”
Doc’s remaining eye widened.
“I knew it.  If you wanted to scare me by saying you were made to push the limits of the VWS, you shouldn’t have also told me you were defective.”
The other robot clenched his teeth, watching Blues circle around him.
“All those weapons, but how many uses do they each have?  One or two?  Three if you’re lucky?  Whatever the exact number started at, I bet it’s getting dangerously close to zero now.”
With a grunt, Doc aimed his buster.  “It’ll be enough!”
His Leaf Shield flew off first, nicking Blues’s own shield but doing no more. A Rolling Cutter and a Quick Boomerang moved to flank him, forcing him to slide out of the way and into a huge gust of wind.  Blues managed to shrug off the Air Shooter, being sure to keep his wits about him, and narrowly dodged a Spark Shock.  A Quick Boomerang came at Blues, but he batted it away and pierced Doc’s hip with his laser.  Doc dropped to the floor; he tried to fire a weapon, any weapon, but nothing more came from his busters.
“No!” he shouted.  “I can’t lose, not to such a useless reject!  This isn’t—”
Blues pushed his cannon into Doc’s face.  “It’s over.  Now, are you going to give up your boss or not?”
“Hmph...think your pops would be proud of you offing random robots?”
“Like I ca—”
Doc swung for his head.  Blues fired before he connected.  After taking a moment to relax somewhat, he slung his shield across his back and turned to the locked door.
“Now.  What is it you were so keen to hide?”
***
Once again, Roll intercepted the Robot Masters just outside the city.  She could only see two: a gold one with an ornate ancient Egyptian headdress, and another with black and white armor carved into a skeletal likeness.  The former stood tall with his arms crossed, nodding once as she drew near.
“At last, you arrive,” he said.  “I am Pharaoh Man, leader of the Doctor Cossack Numbers.  This is my second in command, Skull Man.”
The other robot stayed in Pharaoh Man’s shadow, diligently watching Roll’s every move.
“You have no hope of winning this battle.  Surrender now, and I will grant you a swift and painless end.”
Roll said, “So you can do whatever you want to this town?  No way.  Why don’t you surrender before I have to hurt you?”
Pharaoh Man snorted.  “Insolent whelp.  Fine: if you desire to pass painfully, then I shall grant your wish.”
Roll opened fire with her buster to see how he would react.  Skull Man leapt forward to intercept the shots, wrapping himself in a small vortex of spectral skulls that protected him from all harm. Before Roll could switch to another weapon, the ground next to her split open; amidst the spray of rocks jumped another Robot Master, this one wearing orange armor and sporting drill bits atop his helmet and at the ends of both arms.  Knocking her back, he spread his arms and laughed.
“Watch out below!” he said.  “I’m Drill Man!  One wrong step and I’ll skewer you!”
He jabbed with one drill.  Roll equipped Quake Drill and parried his strike, the sonic vibrations of her weapon stunning him for a moment.  After blasting him away with Dust Crusher, Roll turned to realize Pharaoh Man had one hand held above his head, and above that, a bright ball of fire was rapidly expanding.  She equipped Rain Flush, but Skull Man took aim with his buster.  Roll was kept busy dodging until Pharaoh Man was ready: he hurled the fireball at her, forcing her to tumble out of the way, and Drill Man just narrowly missed her as he resurfaced again.  Roll was forced to the edge of a nearby lake, carefully keeping balance on the bank, and activated a Rain Flush to send Drill Man tunneling back underground. Skull Man again protected Pharaoh Man.
Turning to Rush, Roll said, “Get ready, boy.  I’ll move in while you listen for Drill Man—bark when you hear him coming.”
Rush nodded, pressing his ear against the ground.  As the acid rain began to stop, Roll opened fire and ran forward, probing for some sort of weakness in Skull Man’s shield while being sure to listen for Rush.  Instead of a bark, however, she heard a yelp and a small explosion.  Roll spun around to see another Robot Master rising from the lake, keeping his submarine-like body half-submerged as he continued firing missiles at Rush.
“Rush!”
She moved to double back, but Drill Man appeared to knock her into Pharaoh Man’s range.  Rather than one large fireball, he began to throw several smaller ones, keeping Roll on the move.
“You missed her, Dive Man!” Drill Man said.  “Pick up the pace next time!”
“I don’t see you doing much better!” Dive Man said.  “Maybe if you took the time to—”
Rush jumped at him mid-sentence, clawing him in the face before latching his jaws onto the large robot’s shoulder.  Pharaoh Man turned to look.  Spotting an opening, Roll launched a Ring Boomerang—Skull Man tried to intercept, but the thin projectile slipped between the cracks in his barrier and knocked him back into Pharaoh Man.  Roll blasted them both with Dust Crusher before sprinting at Drill Man, knocking him back with one charge shot before stunning Dive Man with another.
“You okay, boy?” Roll said as Rush bounded to her side.  “I’m so sorry…”
Picking himself up, Drill Man said, “Well, what were you expecting?  If you don’t want him to get hurt, don’t bring him to a fight!”
Roll clenched her teeth.  Blinding Drill Man with Flash Stopper, she ran at him and unleashed a point-blank Dust Crusher.  She whirled to see Dive Man firing at her.  Rush quickly closed in, using his coil to launch her out of harm’s way, and then flew up to catch her and circle around.  Pharaoh Man was on his feet now, resuming his earlier volley.  Roll summoned another Acid Rain to render the fiery projectiles useless.  Rush swerved hard to one side to avoid more of Dive Man’s missiles, but Drill Man shot one of his drills in the direction he had moved—it rocketed up and struck Rush head-on, sending him into a spiral.
“Hah hah, serves you right!” Drill Man said, already heading back underground.
Roll was fuming.  Dropping down, she took a set of missiles that had targeted Rush, and landed right on Dive Man’s shoulders.  Pressing her buster right against his head, she used a Dust Crusher to blast him back and let the recoil launch her onto the shore.  She then switched to Quake Drill and kept the weapon pressed against the ground as she ran.
“There you are!” she said.
Drill Man emerged a moment later.  Spinning just in time, Roll evaded his attack and countered, stabbing the Quake Drill right through Drill Man’s face.  He shouted, but fell silent as the weapon’s vibrations shattered his main processor.  Roll scowled down at his deactivated body as she copied his weapon.
“Serves you right.”
She spotted Rush stabilizing not far away.  Roll took off in that direction, keeping one eye on the water while the other watched Pharaoh Man as he took aim once more.  There was enough distance between them that dodging the fireballs was easy; she managed to make it to Rush’s side just as Dive Man resurfaced. Equipping Ring Boomerang, she sent a flurry of shots at the aquatic Robot Master as he charged towards her. The rings did minimal damage to his armored body, letting him continue forward without flinching.  Just as he reached the edge of the lake, he fired two Dive Missiles that detonated on the ground in front of Roll, creating a cloud of debris that hid him from view.  A second later, he shot out of the cloud and tackled Roll.
“I see you’re every bit as merciless as we’ve heard,” Dive Man said as Roll flew backward.  “If this is what the prototype is like, then I guess it makes sense Robot Masters are forced to fight.”
Roll picked herself up and immediately fired a Drill Bomb.  The rocket-powered drill managed to pierce Dive Man’s armor, leaving a gash in his side before exploding.  “So this is my fault?  Fine!  I don’t care—just drop dead!”
Dive Man prepared to attack, but Roll interrupted him with a Flash Stopper. She fired more Drill Bombs, the explosions knocking him back and forth, steadily tearing away his armor.  Out of the corner of her eye, Roll noticed Pharaoh Man and Skull Man drawing closer.  Keeping them at bay with a Rain Flush, she closed in on Dive Man and fired one more Drill Bomb, the weapon ripping his processor right out of his body. Roll wasted no time in copying his Dive Missile.
“Come on, Rush.”
When Rush didn’t respond, she turned to find him staring at her from a distance. His ears were pulled back, and he kept his head low, crouching slightly.  Roll went still.
“...Rush?  It’s okay, I—”
One of Pharaoh Man’s blasts struck her in the back.  Roll whirled, ready to strike back, but stopped herself.
“Please,” she said, “can’t we stop now?  Isn’t this enough?”
Pharaoh Man said nothing at first.  Skull Man whispered something to him, and then he began charging another attack. “We will not yield.  I shan’t fail Dr. Cossack.”
He hurled a single large fireball at Roll.  Shooting a Dive Missile, she was able to cancel out the attack, and after glancing back at Rush she moved in.  Skull Man opened fire as soon as she was within his range.  She got as close as she could while still evading shots, returning fire when she could but being repeatedly foiled by Skull Man’s barrier.  Pharaoh Man soon had another charged fireball for her, but as he threw it she fired a Dust Crusher—a shot from Skull Man grazed her in the process but it wasn’t enough to stop her.  The bomb detonated on contact with the ball of flame, the force of the resulting burst of shrapnel finally separating Pharaoh Man and Skull Man.  Roll quickly fired a Drill Bomb at Skull Man, pinning his arm to the ground without detonating it, and then turned to Pharaoh Man.
“Why are you so set on this?” Roll asked.  “Is Cossack’s ego that important to you?”
Pharaoh Man triggered his weapon and swung his arm, executing a flaming swipe that knocked Roll back.  “Ego has nothing to do with it!  You have no idea what’s at stake!”
Roll faked left, then fired a Dive Missile right, sending Pharaoh Man sprawling. “Are you going to tell me?”
Pharaoh Man came up on one knee.  He paused a moment, then grunted.  “I cannot.”
Roll slid back as heat burst from the ground around Pharaoh Man.  The other robot lunged at her, but Roll stopped him dead in his tracks with Flash Stopper.  Pharaoh Man stumbled back cursing.  Roll equipped Drill Bomb and took aim, preparing to fire when something slammed into her back.  She sprang up to see Skull Man, minus one arm—the appendage still lay where she had pinned it.
Really?!
She slid out of the way, betting that Pharaoh Man had recovered by now. He had.  His next attack headed straight for Skull Man, but the skeletal robot summoned his barrier and took no damage.  Roll took the time this afforded her to equip Ring Boomerang and begin emptying its ammunition.  The projectiles circumvented the shield and sliced Skull Man to bits, and by the time Pharaoh Man punched her away it was already too late.
“Even Skull Man…” he murmured.  “You even defeated Skull Man...but I won’t give up!”
Roll raised her arms.  Pharaoh Man shielded his eyes, anticipating a Flash Stopper, but she instead used Rain Flush. The downpour hurt them both, but Pharaoh Man took a moment to react, and Roll used that moment to get to Skull Man and copy his weapon.  Pharaoh Man’s attempt to stop her was ineffective against the barrier she summoned.
“For her sake…!”
Pharaoh Man put both hands forward, charging a massive ball of fire.  Being so familiar with how the Skull Barrier worked, he knew exactly when it would run out, and that was the exact moment he fired.  The attack was so large he couldn’t even see Roll, not until she came sliding out to his side and blinded him with a Flash Stopper.  A half-dozen Dive Missiles sent him to the ground, and a Drill Bomb pinned him there.  Grabbing the drill, he began to pry it free, but the bomb detonated before he could.
After copying Pharaoh Man’s weapon, Roll disarmed her buster and turned to Rush. The dog was still keeping his distance. She knelt, saying, “It’s okay, Rush. I’m sorry I scared you like that. I’m okay now.”
Rush slowly walked over to her.  Roll gently set her hand on his head, and after a few seconds he came close enough that she could hug him.
“I’m so sorry, Rush.”
When they separated, Roll ran a hand over her face and took a deep breath. She surveyed the battlefield one last time as she activated her communicator.
“I’m all done here, Dr. Light.”
“I’m glad to hear it,” Light said.  “Auto’s just finished tracking down Dr. Cossack’s base, and I’ve yet to receive any additional transmissions.  The end of this ordeal is in sight.”
Roll wished she could feel relieved by that, but she couldn’t.  She couldn’t feel anything.  “That’s good.  I’m ready to head back now.”

WHY I DISLIKE AOT'S ENDING
Well, the journey has ended - and I've never imagined that it would happen in a disappointing way like this. Before I'd jump into anything THIS ISN'T A HATE POST - I respect Isayama and am really grateful his more than a decade-long hardwork, preciseness. I completely understand that in the end he got tired of it and he absolutely has the right to finish his own story as he pleases - but as auidence we have the right to criticize it in a cultured way. The post is based off the untranslated, korean chapter. Not proof-read.
SPOILERS FOR ATTACK ON TITAN'S 139TH (FINAL) CHAPTER BELOW!!!
The conclusion of Mikasa. Okay, we've had our rounds(bee - boo) why I'm personally not a big fan of her and why she's objectively a badly-written character - but I'd be upset even as a Mikasa fan. I was glad that she seemingly was ready to let Eren go, BUT NO. Mikasa killed Eren, but didn't actually let him go. Seemingly she's gonna grieve over him forever, and this isn't a good message, it isn't a big development from her - I think this is a very bad (main!!!) character writing - many people refer to Mikasa a badass, independent, but she sticks to her deceased loved one in a self-destructive way, even withdrawing from society. I understand that she isn't able to process Eren's death, but I they could've shown it to us in a better way. Mikasa isn't a good role model in general, especially with this conclusion of her story.
I've always been reassuring myself, that Historia will surely have a reason being almost written-out. Well, her pregnancy didn't have importance, the identy of the father neither. Just an easy, plot-saving movement, which is really disappointing, it completely ruins her character.
No titans anymore. A thing I enjoyed about Attack on Titan is that actions, decisions actually had weight - if something happened that couldn't be turned back. I was almost certain that everyone will turned back into human - suprise, suprise I was right. It was just a cheap movement to keep the fans thrilled for a month. My heart cried for Connie and Jean, but this upsets me even more.
Jean really didn't have a vision about Marco? REALLY? When the spirits of all the deceased SC members are there, and Jean, one of the most important characters doesn't have a last-last goodbye with the person WHO WAS THE MAIN MOTIVE FOR HIM? It's okay if you ruin this man's whole character arc, but now totally forgetting about a thing that has determined his personality, development and actions during the WHOLE series? Keep me hung.
Connie, where's your mom? You were fighting for her and would even feed a child if that meant you can bring her back to life. HAHAHA.
I think I won't list all the characters whose development and/or arc were thrown into trash.
Everything is just rushed. I haven't been satisifed with the last eight-ten chapters - they weren't logical, some characters started to act OOC and the story just fell into pieces, being the shadow of itself. The Attack on Titan was a morally grey story about soldier life and centuries of hatred, but it got sugarcoated in the end - former enemies are acting like nothing happened, like none of the killed each other's loved ones or committed mass war-crimes. Yes, I know they've been trough a lot - but suddenly the whole world just forgets all of it? Meh. Completely goes against what AoT was originally about.
Of course, it's not a catastrophe, there were some stuff I enjoyed:
Levi's fate. He's an average character, but at least everything is okay about him - there are no holes. He's fufilled his promise to Erwin and now (as predicted) he is the only remaining veteran SC member of his generation. The last one. Also, his salute was beautiful despite the fact I didn't like the whole "SC ghosts" element in the series.
Gabi-Falco reunion. Anatomy 0%, meme material at max.
Overall the first ~130 chapters. They were truly excellent.
I'm grateful, that this story ever existed, its messages, characters and story is still something outstanding. I feel bad for it, I'm disappointed but that's it. It be like that sometimes.

Hi so I came across your Femto punishing both Guts and Casca meta and even tho I kinda like it I found myself at odds with a part of it.
I think punishing Casca and feeling mad she picked Guts over him and considered leaving him wasn't really a consideration at all. In the thoughts he has after the weird trippy hallucination thing they put him through during the eclipse his only thoughts are about Guts. How he was the only one who made Griffith forget his dream. And when he forgot this torture happened and his body was broken.
Guts was the one he risked life for by going to save him from Zod. Guts was the one who managed to get close to him despite his attempts to keep his distance from his men. Griffith was at that point after all only human. Humans need close relationships which he was denying himself and that led to his overattachment to the one he had which caused him to end up in the situation he got tortured in. He had to blow off steam he was so upset by Guts leaving and the concept alone made his fight with Guts more erratic.
But Casca leaving isn't reflected on at all during the Eclipse. Griffith said once that a true equal was what he considered a friend and while he was talking to a royal at the time that might still be true. Griffith who was human, and despite being in denial about it, craved friendship.
An equal who didn't leave him might be something he wanted. But Femto who has thrown away his humanity doesn't want a friend he doesn't want a equal. A power play is required to prove that Guts is beneath him. He needs to disempower Guts to feel empowered. To feel that Guts isn't a equal that Guts is beneath him.
The scene where he pushes down Casca is a parallel because it is also about power but in a different way. The sequence of events is Griffith asks Guts to put on his armor he wants to be able to put it on fight again. Guts obliges excited to see Griffith recover.
Elsewhere Casca is told he will never recover enough to hold a sword again. A demon attacks them rips off Griffiths armor and mocks him and his group over how he's already broken. Afterwards Griffith hears his group come apart as they come to terms about his condition. Casca berates Guts for expecting that recovery when it not possible which Griffith also hears.
Griffith then pushes Casca down I think because Casca used to be someone he was stronger than her. It's just a desperation to show he has even a bit of the strength he used to possess.
He manages to stay in the position she doesn't try to push him off he doesn't try to do anything and just puts his effort in maintaining position. Flopping on her and groping would probably be less physical effort but I don't think that what he trying to do . His mouth is open like he's trying to say something but no words come out. She hugs him pulling him close and as he's no longer holding up his own body weight his trembling stops.
I think its supposed to contrast with Femto later and his mentality in this moment vs that one.
The first scene with Casca is desperation to show he has even a bit of the strength he used to possess. That it'd not over for him.
The second one where he attacks Casca in front of Guts is to show no one is equal to him everyone is beneath him. Guts is beneath him. In this world where Griffith reigns Guts has no power to stop anything to do anything and he wants to mock and hurt Guts. That it's his time to rule.
When Griffith is rescued his immediate reaction is to lash out attack Guts. He is mad at Guts for leaving because in his mind Guts leaving led to this. But it only led to this because Griffith cared enough about him that he would be upset at not having Guts around. Its because they were friends. So when he sees Guts crying over him that anger dissappears and he puts his hands on Guts hand in a almost comforting gesture. He can't go as far with his anger or hatred because he loves and cares too.
Which is why that first scene with Casca is only her being pinned. He wouldn't go that far because even if he doesn't see her as a equal he still gives a shit. Its why he attempts to move to her when she attacked by demons after they escape with him. Maybe he wouldn't even consider doing something like what Femto does to her.
But that caring and giving a shit is the humanity he gives up. Femto still has emotions he had feelings Griffith used to have. If he didn't making Guts feel disempowered wouldn't matter. The idea of Guts as a equal in anyway wouldn't occur. Femto is just that anger and rage he felt when he tried to strangle Guts without the caring he felt when he put his hand on Guts hand.
Casca only mattered when Griffith cared about people who he thought he was stronger than. When he sacrificed that Casca ceased to matter. She was never a target of his anger or frustration. But Guts continued to matter. Because Guts was a target of that. He wants the target of his frustration to suffer, and he knows this will make him suffer.
Just my opinion thought I'd share. Still love your meta tho!
Tumblr media
Well, damn, that’s a long ask. xDD Next time, just reblog and add your thoughts, I also answer that way, hahaha!
Also, not sure which post of mine you’re referring to, by the way. I’m thinking this one, but I honestly can’t be sure because I also reblogged posts on the subject?
Anyway, if I sum up your take: Griffith was out to punish Guts only and not Casca, because Guts >>> Casca in terms of significance as far as Griffith is concerned?
Thank you for your input :) but see, I disagree, because this is exactly why I once said that...
Tumblr media
I don’t understand why some fans somehow reduce Berserk’s plot to being about Guts vs Griffith, Casca often becoming some random secondary character. For me, no matter how you look at the series ever since the Golden Age, it just ain’t the case. :))
However, all I ever wrote was that Griffith punished both of them; I never implied that their “betrayal” amounted to the same significance for Griffith, because it’s indeed not the case.
After all, as you said, we know Guts always had a bigger impact on Griffith since the day they met...
Tumblr media
...but, while we will never know for sure, I for one am quite convinced that if Casca (who was Griffith’s right-hand woman) was the one who had left in the same fashion as Guts, it would have triggered Griffith in a similar way.
Because Griffith is a man of influence: he knows that and how to use such charisma on others. That’s why he totally means the words he said to Charlotte about what kind of people he would see as a friend. So he uses people’s feelings for him in a way that would serve the path to achieving his dreams. Casca herself said that, as a leader after he was gone, all she did was "try to protect the dream of someone who might not even be alive”.
The Band of the Falcon lived and worked to help Griffith achieve his dream, because they saw him as special, since they had no achievable big dream of their own (kinda why Griffith said they’re not “friends”).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yeah sure, Guts’ actions would always leave a bigger impact on Griffith, as you showed he said it himself, but Casca falling in love with Guts and envisioning a future far away from Griffith’s schemes still clearly stung.
After all, everyone in the group knew of Casca’s unrequited feelings for Griffith, meaning that Griffith obviously knew too and, instead of telling her it would never happen, he entertained the possibility so that Casca would entirely devote herself to him.
Take Judeau, as a counterexample: he too had some feelings for Casca, but he urged Guts several times to take her with him and away from the group, because he couldn’t stand her unhappiness. Griffith said nothing about her feelings, because he knew that’s how Casca would do everything for his sake.
Still, Casca was not any random member of his Band so, when she emancipated from Griffith by falling in love with Guts, in my opinion it’s why...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...she also was on the receiving end of his jealousy.
It’s distasteful but, otherwise, why did Femto rape Casca instead of killing her? Again, we will never know, but if Guts had left Griffith behind for a future with any other random girl, I think Femto would have just killed her in front of Guts. Raping Casca, when she used to long for Griffith’s affection, was revenge against both of them for choosing each other instead of him and his dream.
You can see it in the way he stared at both of them so many times, coming to the realization that he was not at the center of their little trio anymore. So yeah, Guts > Casca in terms of significance since day 1 as far as Griffith is concerned, I never discussed that, but Casca was not such a random member of Griffith’s band either that her actions of emancipation would not taste bitter to him. That’s my opinion. :)
Additional points: I never said he was trying to grope her in that scene when he fell on top of her as she was changing his bandages, just that “he was trying to gauge or reenact Casca’s old devotion to him by showing some affection”.
And finally, Femto who was entirely reborn as a Godhand has no emotion left about Guts or Casca, he said it himself. Thinking he’s only anger and revenge would be confusing Femto with the Skull Knight or Guts as the Black Swordsman.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Friendly reminder that Femto is not human anymore so, while Griffith thrived on thinking that he didn’t bother with overwhelming bonds to anyone and that only his dream ever mattered, it is actually the case for Femto.
I hope I answered your points. Thanks for reading and have a nice day Anon! :))

How u think kai will react if he raised his hand during argument&his s/o flinched thinking thst he will hit her? He didn't know but s/o was abused by her*hero*parents for being quircklss&went through inhuman experiments to activate it.They abandoned her in orphan announcing their*precious daughter*died while the truth thy didnt want her 2 bring shame 2 them.Kai discovered that latter bc those info are top hero secrets&she didnt tell him thinking kai will hate her if he found shes hero's daughter
Tumblr media
HAHAHA, HOW WOULD KAI REACT?! KAI CHISAKI?! OVERHAUL. REACT TO THIS?!
My god; he would be enraged, completely surrounded by hatred and desire of execution of these two worms considered to be your biological parents.
Discussions between you two were normal; you are a couple, it happens; but even knowing that Kai would never lay a finger to hurt you, you couldn't help but squirm in terror and guard youself with your arms at the moment he raised his hands to only emphasize his point in the argument.
He immediately stopped talking as soon as he saw your scared look; sadly, he knew that expression way too well; and ended the argument right then and there.
Hearing your back story was enough for making his blood boil in a way it never had before but he maintained his composure for your sake.
Now, really, you only increased like, 100x more his hatred for heroes... Congrats.
"They're all sick. This hero syndrome has to be cured, look at what happens when we let those verms in the street... Absolutely disgusting."
Chisaki would become a little more affectionate after this just for ease your nerves. But when he is certain that you're at peace again...
That's when the real show begins...
The hero entered his home completely exausted due to his busy day at the agency as he took off his boots and called for his wife. When he heard no response he went in allert; knowing that she had taken a day off, she must had stayed in home.
He called once again checking every room in his big mansion. When he entered the living room he went rigid when he saw, not his wife, but a man in a green jacket holding one of his extremely expensive cups looking at the window.
Frightening and cold golden eyes; that seemed to pierce his soul; found them qs he finally spoke
"You're late." He spited the words before the hero felt something strongly hit the back of his neck, causing him to pass out immediately.
The man awakened feeling extremely sore as he heard his wife pleading for him to wake up. When he finally got back to reality, he noticed that both of them were chained tightly with their backs against each other.
"W-we were kidnapped dear...!" She whispered in fear "Use your quirk to get us out before the raptors come back, hurry!" She pleaded.
"Alright don't worry, we will be out of here in no time."
Suddenly, a bullet came out of no wear and hitted him straight on his chest, causing the woman to scream if her husband was okay.
"I wouldn't move around too much if I were in your shoes..." spoke a man covered in a plague mask and white hoodie aproaching the trembling couple, never once lowering down his gun.
The man winced in pain before trying to use his quirk to attack the shooter.
Sickes bitch
"W-what?" The man spoke in shook "W-what happened with my quirk?! What ylu did to me your fucker?!"
"Language." Spoke coldly the man before merciless shooting the woman's leg.
The female hero cried in pain letting out a few curses at the stranger.
"For two heroes, both of you are completely useless and disposable, aren't you?" A hushed voice spoke in the shadows of the cold building.
"What do you want from us, damn villain?" Struggled the man in the chains.
The young yakusa boss lifted himself from his place on the dark and slowly walked toward the frightened couple; looking at them with murderous, wide, psychotic eyes; following right after them two mans with also plague masks covering their faces.
Actually now that they notice, there was eight in total... all of them around.
"W-wait a second-!" Said the woman in realization "You're that young leader of Shie Hassaikai! That young yakusa group, his name is Overhaul!" Chisaki didn't seem to even listened the woman, opting to look down in nothing but disgust at the quivering man in front of him.
"Despicable, you and your wife are just disgusting... Not only carry in your veins the hero syndrome but also did something that I can't just let slide..."
"We didn't even once got into the yakusa young man, I swear on all of my career-!"
"Your words are simply equal to trash to me so don't even need to spend your breath." Interrupted the villain, extending his open hand at his side.
A black thing that was on the shoulder of a much taller man gave it to him what seemed like an really old newspaper. When the young leader grabbed, he immediately oppen it on one od the pages, reading out loud.
"'Today, unfortunately, we announce the loss of our beloved, quirkless yet respected only child (Y/N) ... While we were just enjoying the few but precious family moments together, a despicable villain attacked us and took her life during the combat. We, with pure grudge and thirsting for justice, have put the evil factor in behind the bars, but still it does not fill the void that our beloved deceased daughter left us ... rest and peace my sweet (Y/N), we will always have you in our hearts.'" Chisaki read all of what was written in pure rage.
"You two are quite the actors, to have to say that on a jornal." The man wearing a white hoodie spoke coldly.
"Actors?" Laughed nervously the woman "Our daughter died during a villain's fight long ago... She was quirkless, couldn't even protect herse-"
"I don't even need to use my quirk to identify your lies woman." Spoke the man on Overhaul's side "Those are beautiful words but clearly false."
"You really think we are that dUMB YOU PUNks?!" Screamed Mimic in offense.
"What will be your orders boss?" A blond with green shirt spoke in pure sadistic exciment.
Overhaul raised his hand, demanding silence with his gesture, as he messed in his jacket pocket before pulling out a small picture.
He abruptly shoved both of the old newspaper; which had the photo of the supposed deceased child; and a picture that he had took it of you.
"Don't you verms think that these two are a A BIT too similiar?!" He couldn't contain his wrath and shouted at both at them making both heroes flinch in fear.
"Abandoned by you both in a shelter just because they couldn't reach your expectations of being what you two are..." Spoke coldly Chrono aiming his gun close to the womans forehead.
Overhaul gave the paper back to Mimic and right after, saving the photo back in his pocket.
"Usually I don't like dirting my hands, but you two are a real special case..." he started to lower his gloves down.
"Wait a second, please!" Pleaded the man almost tearing up "H-How about a deal? Me and my wife can give you all of our money we earned as heroes! Think about about it!" The woman gave her husband a glare due to his offer.
Greddy woman... despicable. They didn't remind him any of you... thankfully.
"How much you're willing to gave us?" Spoke in interest Mimic.
"Anything really! Just let us go and don't mention about... her to anyone." Chisaki wanted to rip this man's head out of his body at the way your "father" mentioned you.
"Give them all of your credits cards and you passwords. Now." Demanded the quivering man at his wife who hesitantly showed where it was in her purse.
Chrono took all of them, right after giving Kai a silently sign that it was real and he got them right.
"Everyone, except Chrono and Mimic, get out of here and wait outside." Commanded Overhaul which everyman respind with an "yes sir."
Right after Nemoto closed the door, Mimic unchained the couple, but just as them got up to their feet, Kurono headlocked the woman as Chisaki punched the man with all his force, making him hit the floor.
"HON-" Chrono pressed the gun in the women's temple.
"Shut your mouth if you don't want your brain to explode it with this damn bullet."
Overhaul marched his way and grabbed the man's collar shirt staring at him what only could be described as a death glare.
"B-but our deal-!"
"Yo punk, we accepted the money but we didn't say anything about letting you go." Said Mimic checking all of the credit cards while holding a phone.
"You didn't really think I would let go that easy did you?" Groaned Chisaki "After everthing you and your project of a wife did to my angel..."
"Y-your what-" the man couldn't even complete his question when Chisaki merciless touched his forehead and overhauled him on the spot.
The woman screamed in terror. Trying to get out of her captor's hold.
"Don't worry I didn't forget about you... disgusting." Overhaul muttered as he rubbed his hand.
"MONSTER! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" the woman shouted not even caring about the gun glued to the side of her head anymore.
"You really are just as dumb as your husband here. I will bring him back, his punishment isn't over..." he looked at her with threatening eyes "Monster huh? Look at both of you, damn hypocrites... Listen closely." He approached the woman who trembles in fear and hate at the villain.
"For every moment of pain; physically and emotionally; for every single tear that escaped from my angel's eyes due to your actions... I will kill; torture even; you both and bring you back over and over again until I am deeply satisfied..." the woman started to sobbing in fear as she pleaded for forgiveness and beged for let them go.
"Isn't it glorius? Feeling completely vulnerable, useless and totally submissive at the power at someone else's hands? I am not the person who you should be begging for forgiveness, but I guess you let that chance slip years ago, didn't you? What a great mother..." he spoke in pure sadistic sarcasm.
In a quick move Chisaki comanded that Chrono let go of the woman, making her hit the cold ground. And just before her eyes could've had catch it, he touched her face with all of his hand and overhauled her.
"Despicable creatures..." mumbled Chisaki as he saw the mess on the ground. He made his way to your once father when Chrono called his attention holding his cellphone for Kai to see.
"It's (Y/N), she's asking how are you doing and if we will take too long to come back. What should I respond?"
"Hey Overhaul? Isn't tommorow or after the day when you meet her or something?"Asked Mimic pointed one of the many credit cards at his boss. Subconsciously giving the young villain an idea.
"Tell her is going to take a little more than we expected, my job here isn't totally complete... But tell that I have a surprise for her so just be patient." Chrono nodded as Mimic snickered.
"Getting lucky with your partner Overhaul?"
"Shut your mouth Mimic."

I need to be really open
Right now I'm about to post totally openly and it's going to beong because my night was long
So I was at the bar and the girl buddy I wrote about who didn't remember me, who used to remember me when she ran into me back then... Yeah she didn't remember me and it hurt my feelings really badly. Look, it just did, okay? I don't forget people I've had coffee with under funny circumstances and people uve bonded with. She used to support my depression and all that and was totally into me back then as she's the one who told me I have awesome hair and always wanted to tell me
Yeah that was her back then, just fucking only 3 years ago, it's not even that long, let alone I texted her just a few months ago
My heart breaks a bit. And she was there with a buddy of mine. I didn't know he'd be there. I felt so hurt by that? Because I thought me and her were hella cool... We used to text jokes about this guy in a class. I just can't believe you'd forget me
I can't
Especially since she thought I was attractive AND THEN we had a bonding moment over coffee one day
I'm so hurt, I can't explain it, I don't know if it's okay for me to feel this way, I don't know if it's wrong to feel this way. .. I'm just very HURT and it makes me want to cry, I'm not crying, but it feels like it and I just... I don't understand and I can't shake the awkwardness. I met her and she still didn't remember me. I had to explain to her who I was and it felt so unnatural
I still feel woozy about that! I hated that! I did! My buddy told me she said to him "I think I know that guy" REALLY?! Bro it's not like me and her were acquaintances. Omfg. We were seen together plenty times
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL? It's not like I was trying to fuck her or anything, I just felt like it was a special connection when I met her. Not that we were close but she was one of those rare open people and thought we'd never forget each other
It makes me a little sick to my stomach, as in, just feeling, I don't know why, and to know she didn't want to hang with me but hung out with Eric... I'm just so confused!! I can't do this right now! Not right now! Too much, it's too much right now!
Okay so I was outside at the bar very sad and slum. I got to the bar and ordered another drink. The waitress there, the one that hates me, she was here so I tried to be nice and asked "how are you doing?" And she ignored me, and I said her name, kaeton, I was like, "kaeton??" And she still ignored me. Suffice it to say my heart felt even more hurt. The more and more I try to give myself, the more and more I'm being shut down..
I just wanted to die at that point
So I went outside to write to myself with my new beer
Suddenly a fight is happening. I interject cause they came my way, two dudes and the small one is toast. So I help the big one out and say yo, here come here, chill, and I tried to sit them down. And then the big one pushed me as if I'm an enemy and said "NAH GET OUT OF MY WAY, HES MY NEPHEW" and I said BRO CHILL, IM HERE TO HELP, ON YOUR SIDE. And later he apologized to me saying he's sorry he was like that and that it indeed was his nephew who was causing the scene. I said I know they man, I wanted to stop you guys from tumbling over people. He was cool man. We talked afterwards. No problem at all. Chill dude. Infact the waitress that hates me? I am pretty sure she gave him her number. Doesn't matter
So guess what? Another fight breaks out from that. Again came my way. I saw the two bartender guys that work there. Casey and Calvin. I know them somewhat. I'm a regular at this bar bro. And I see this dude pushing Calvin around and I got so upset that I went up and stopped him, grabbed him by the neck (the drunk douche) and said nah, chill, you're out bro and he started calling me "what? YOU FAG, YOU FUCKING GAY FAGGOT" because of the way I look. And I was quick to remark about his dumbass appearance about his glasses and cap combo. And he kept going but my skinny ass was able to push him out the door. And I bumped into Sam, my other favorite waitress there who I've slowly gotten close to. I'll tell you more about that. She was a bit frazzled by it all. And I accidentally made her drop drinks on herself as she was trying to serve someone else but that's cause I was getting angry and talking mad shit back to this douche bag I was pushing out by the neck. And Casey, not Calvin, but Casey, pushed me out of that grip and I understood, to let go and let the people working here take care of it. I didn't mean to be bad. I was just upset seeing one of the workers here that I like being pushed around so rough. It wasn't okay. And like. Yeah
So when I came back to the outside, lots of people came up to me. Some said wow, wtf happenened, we saw, you were involved and we were like WTF
Others, like Eric saw it and then he left cause he said he didn't want to see drunkards brawling. In my heart I thought, wow, Eric, I wasn't, I was pushing him out because the drunkard was ALREADY hitting the wait staff.
Anyway, other people came up to me and told me "wow bro when he called you a fag? Dude nah I almost ran in there and knocked him out, I'm surprised you didn't, he called you a fag so many times" and I said "yeah I was getting to that point but Casey stopped me"
Um, girls started looking at me and smiling at me. I don't know why but girls thought it was attractive that I pushed out a douche bag out of the bar, whilst being called a fag and horrible names. Idk man.
A lot of people came up to me. I didn't even realize everyone was watching. To me it lasted a second. To everyone else telling me about it, they said it lasted a good 6 minutes straight
Jesus
Okay so I went to Steve's house with Ronnie and Hector. Love these dudes. Steve is hella old but he's awesome. We smoked and drank. We got hungry so me, Ronnie and Hector went to whataburger. We ate and suddenly Sam, the waitress from the bar came over and scared me..I was HOLY SHIT WTF HOW
she said she was driving and saw us so she came in to eat with us. Ugh sam is so cute. She's been so hot this entire time. She's the one who I accidentally spilled a bit of beer on as she was trying to serve it, remember? And so after that happened, I went up to her and said "hey, I'm sorry I spilled that on you, Sam" and she was so surprised I was like this (it's just me) and she was like "omg you're so sweet" and was like "no it's fine" so fast forward to whataburger. Ya man. Hector left and Ronnie left. It was just me and Sam. And the guy working at Whataburger was trying to fuck sam. Poor guy, bless his heart, he has a crush on Sam, and, you know, she just doesn't like him. So she told me to help her sneak out when he isn't looking. And I did lol. So me and her started talking a lot outside. And the dude comes out and says to her "hey Sam, I'm about to smoke a cigarette, wanna join me?" Literally has balls trying to cock block ME. I MEAN, I wasn't trying to fuck Sam, I'm just saying to HIM it looked like I was kinda with her and had been with her a while alone, so for him to come up, was ballsy. Like bro, you for real?
She brushed him off. And she looked at me and said "come on" and I asked her "Bro why are you acting like he has a chance?!" And she said she has to because she comes here to eat often at nights hahaha. I said okay, totally understandable hahahaha
And then she told me, I grew on her. She's seen me many nights and has seen who I am. And she finally sees the real me. She said she appreciates me and wants to hang out and stuff. I was surprised. I felt appreciated greatly. Especially after such an awful night. Which is still affecting me. I don't know how Jenny forgot me. I can't believe I was trying to call her Emily at first. Awful. It was an accident, not that she heard me. But, wow, she didn't remember me at all.
It hurts still... Because that means I've gotten so so ugly to the point where girls who used to think I was hot as fuck don't even recognize me anymore (that's how ugly and different I've gotten physically) oh no I'm gonna cry. I can't take it
The end of tonight was good! Why can't I accept that!
I'm actually tearing up
This is so awful
What is wrong with me

hello chey! santa here! 🎅 i'm so sorry for being mia for days, i had an unusually busy week and was very, very tired 😖 but i'm slowly coming back too life!
yay happy to hear the semester ended! how long is your break? and why do you regret studying digital communications? no need to reply if you don't want to talk about it, of course! i studied polish philology, focused mostly on 19th and 20th century literature :)
hahaha i don't do headers, making them is too exhausting and i'm never satisfied. but yours is awesome so no need to change it! i get so attached to icons it's actually funny. i rarely change them because i think "oh no, if i get a new one, i will no longer have this one 😭😭" i'm a baby who won't eat a cookie because there'll be no cookie 😐
i'm actually allergic both to cats and dogs... 🤦 so i'm on meds all the time 😬 but i've had cats since i was a toddler and i intend to have them till the day i die 🥲 i just hope allergy won't be the cause of my demise 😆
omg artist of the month... that'd be almost too amazing 😖 hopefully one day!!! all it takes is a bit of luck 👍
my wrapped was honestly so weird this year...again. some of my fave songs weren't even in the top 100 while a few which i didn't even remember/like much were... but at least my top artists made sense unlike last year 🤔 i've no clue how they count it all... but it's fun so who cares 😂
and i actually rarely remember when/how i get into groups/find biases. it's usually more of a process, i guess? i don't realize until i'm head over heels and it's too late to run 😆
ah, okay, enough babbling. how was your weekend? did you celebrate the end of the semester or did you just pass out? no judging, both options are valid 😂 and do you have any plans for your break? i mean, we're in the pandemic but a break is a break! 😉 we have snow here but apparently it's gonna get warmer for xmas which is a bit of a shame 🥲
anyway, i'm sending warm hugs!
santa 🎅
ANON I'M SORRY I REALIZED I FORGOT TO REPLY OH NOOO 😭😭😭 i'm sorry to keep you waiting 🥺
how has your week been? is everything okay? have you been keeping hydrated and eating well? 🥺🥺🥺
my break just started about a week ago!! so far it's been kinda okay... been going out with some friends and making some gifsets... forgetting to reply to messages... 👀 i have a really bad habit of not replying so i apologize for that >< ooh i don't really regret the course, i just kind of regret going to uni as a whole... but then again idrk what i would be doing if i wasn't in uni
oooh philology! first time i heard of the word :O very interesting! do you like that course? 🥰
that analogy "i'm a baby who won't eat a cookie because there will be no cookie" is SO CUTE. and also very relatable >< same though... i would keep the cookie there for as long as possible until someone eats it and i regret not eating it in the first place :'))) but that's totally fine that you don't have a header! it does take a lot of time to make, i agree >< that's why i haven't changed it in months <3
I GET YOU!!!! it's okay we can be allergic together </3
*manifesting oneus artist of the month december 2021*
spotify wrapped is very weird >< and also doesn't take into account the newer songs T~T if they kept collecting data till like late november, LUNA would probably be in my top 10 😭😭😭 but alas ><
i totally get you!! the process is a thing <3 for lack of better words
i did pass out after my last assignment, but then i've been rewatching a childhood show and making more gifs :D (or attempting to). i hope your week has treated you well 🥺🥺
do you have any plans for the holidays? i'm just gonna visit my family for christmas!!
