i do wonder about trying out bellum x linebeck dynamics/stories with more tension or generally something less healthy but i am too much of a fan of making it work- esp since i still have to figure out ok hm how does this shit work and then even defining what it looks like for it to work
#also personal preference and whatnot#salty talks#bellum x linebeck#like darker aspects can absolutely work will in tandem with things โworkingโ i just perfer to lean into it somehow just. working#i mean yeah you can go with bellum using him as a means to an end and not giving a shit abt him actually but like#what if this immortal creature thats primarily adept at stealing n ending life was terrified by the fragility and mortality of his partner#like yknow. what does he do in that situation how does he react how does he work with that#linebeck is easier to puzzle out bc he is. a fucking character in his source material with dialogue and an arc and all that#but it is also fun of like ok we got this overconfident a bit too talkative coward exploring around and pissing people off#and also somehow managed to get a thing like bellum to like him enough to work with him and protect him#idk i think its more interesting to lean into things actually kinda working out#not entirely original with this stuff but its fun nonetheless
