He has faith his friends won’t die from a cold

The ONLY difference in who gets what from him is his lover & occasionally his sister get sleepy sick cuddles

His lover is also getting forehead kisses if they ask for it

This has the funniest dichotomy between friends and lovers 😂

If you’re a friend, he gonna do one of two things

If its just a mild cold, he’ll prescribe some herbal tea he made

You’ll be 100% by tomorrow 👍

If it’s bad like a high fever, he’ll come to your house and be the best doctor you’ve ever had

Like he’s literally a home doctor without the paycheck

Pure professionalism

He comes in, assesses the issues and quickly does everything he can to cure the illness as fast as possible

Now let’s say your family or a lover

He’s at your beck and call 📞 🔔

You want tea? It’s already steeping

You want back rubs? He’s got a rose scented lotion to help ease your aching muscles

Honestly he might be watching you from a tree a good 5 miles from your house…but he’s still making sure you’re ok

He honestly feels useless so him essentially protecting you is his way of feeling like he’s actually being helpful

Not sure what he’s protecting you from exactly when the virus is already in your body but just let him have it, it’s how he shows he cares

Ace

Depending on how sick his S/O is, he’s anywhere from waiting on you hand and foot to freaking out and trying not to make things worse.

If it’s just a cold or flu, he’s doing everything for you. 

Brings you soup

Brings you medicine and makes sure you take it even if you don’t like it

Worries constantly

Will read you to sleep if you ask, even if you’re just teasing him

Makes sure you stay warm by cuddling with you

If you’ve got a bad case of the flu or something like covid, he’s freaking out

Paces across the deck

Demands that Marco do everything in his power to make you feel better.

Refuses to leave your side any time he’s not panicking

Worries that you’re dying, even if you’re not

Does literally everything and will stay awake constantly in case things get worse

Begs Whitebeard to help you however he can

Will steal from the Navy, other emperors, even Marijoa if it means finding a cure

Begs you not to leave him (aka die)

If he’s undercover with Doflamingo, will write a note to Doffy that he’s unavailable until further notice

Won’t actually ‘call’ the doctors but will still contact them

Will kidnap them if necessary, this man burned down hospitals, he has no problem with temporarily kidnapping doctors

If he’s a marine at the time, takes you to the very best doctors the marines can afford

Won’t stop calling Sengoku asking if there’s anything else he can do to help you

Once he’s certain it’s just a cold or flu, stays by you as much as possible

Has the chateau chefs make you the most nutritious soups and foods to help you get better as quickly as possible

Treats you almost like you’re made of glass

Lays in bed with you and strokes your hair

Won’t take his usual meriendas unless he can watch over you while doing so

Even then, he’s too busy worrying about you to sing the donut song

The most calm of the three males

Tends to your every need himself

If it’s something serious he’s internally panicking

Won’t show it but is already thinking of which doctors to kidnap to give you the best medical care possible
