If abstraction can be caught by touch, maybe one of the first disabling symptoms is muscle loss. Infected people lose strength over time, until they can't walk, move, or breathe on their own.

Also, in more advanced stages of the disease, they may gradually lose their sight until they are totally blind.

One sign that the disease has reached the brain is when they start to mix their memories or get very confused throughout the day (not exactly dementia, but a bit like it).

Maybe, small pustules appear on the body. When they heal, the scar would be in the shape of an eye.

Pomni at some point asked to be euthanized, since there is no cure, why continue? Kinger rejected the request (my sheilas :,[)

Caine started researching a cure VERY seriously over time (not because he was in love). He ignored various protocols, but he didn't start crazy experiments because Kinger stopped him

Pomni might have known how to play an instrument (VIOLIN), but when she started to lose her movements, she stopped playing completely (Hc time: She used to play a lot for Queenie before she left. When Queenie was gone, Pomni would play to remember her mother, but unfortunately she lost the ability to do that, so she would just hum a few songs when she was alone.) (MY BABY😭)

Caine and Pomni would have long talks. They discussed the impossible nature of the cure and that Pomni should have hope and not give up

Kinger put Pomni in intensive care and therapy, he also keeps someone always keeping an eye on Pomni, he was afraid she would hurt herself. Kinger had already lost his wife, his daughter was out of the question.

Queenie's condition began to worsen when she learned that Abstraction can be passed on generically. The fear and sadness of knowing that Pomni could have that evil in some part of her life broke Queenie´s heart.

Kinger is probably making illegal deals to keep the research going and also to speed it up.

Caine spent a long time in fear, thinking he was "infected" when he started "feeling things", he was an IA, he wasn't supposed to feel! But after a lot of research (quizzes on the internet) he finally understood what was going on.

Pomni may deny it a lot, but she likes Caine's presence a bit, at least the clinic didn't seem so empty, and she didn't have many options to talk to anyone other than her father

The story is a bout Sudsakon, a half mer half human boy, goes on a journey to find his father.

- Spoiler alert: tbh his father is lowley a piece of shit based on what I remember😭 He has a lot of wives (at that time having many wives is a power status, and he’s a king) and he fell in love with a mermaid who is Sudsakorn’s mother. THEN HE LEAVES SO THAT’S WHY SUDSAKORN GREW UP TO LOOK FOR HIM. The dad’s also the protagonist of the story (his name is on the title) but I’m purely writing this out of memory because so many things happened in the story and I have to go reread it again. The dad left for some “duties” but got a new wife along the journey like bruh🗿

- Back to Suchol though, his horse Nhil (or should I say his unique magic👀) is based off of the horse dragon in the literature piece! The horse dragon is a wild animal, and its strength even rivals yakshas. "Meow meow mf" is an extremely specific character type that the majority of my top faves, including Kiara, fall under.

I named it myself cuz it's the no. 1 Sen-core character type

Meow Meow Mf: Morally Bankrupt and/or Morally Questionable Evil, (Optional: Black and White colour scheme), has sadistic and bloodthirsty tendencies, has emotional issues, is distanced from humanity and/or human social interactions in some way (estranged from normal people due to their childhood upbringing, or being non-human or divine, etc.) which gives their ego this "Sen-core quality"

I think the qualities of their arrogance and ego are what defines them as Meow Meow Mf.

My fave charas often operate on "Evil/Shadow/Darkness" or Yin/Yang and Light/Darkness principles (usually embodying one of, or both aspects)

My Murder Drones Finale analysis… 1/2 - 2/2

i stayed up until 2 am with friends last night (who i roped into binging the series with me) freaking the fuck out and theorizing, so next morning post hello!

i am FAR from done with this series, it’s been my hyperfixation and comfort show for over a year, and i pray y’all don’t die out too quickly because i have so much left to share. This show and community has blessed me in so many ways, and no way I’m letting it go just yet.

Vivziepop just gives me major fujoshi/proshipper vibes, and her writing shows the dangers of not thinking critically about what you’re portraying in the media you create. The Stolitz thing is so obvious to me she doesn’t think critically on why certain power dynamics are harmful to portray in a glorified way lol there’s like 50 videos on YouTube of people explaining why the ship sucks. It would’ve been absolutely fine if she stuck with the pilot version of Stolas (even some season 1 bits of him too), as the relationship is clearly bad and the show is able to get comedy out of it while also making a statement on how Imps are abused. Because of season 2, they had to retcon so much of Stolas’ bad behaviour in season 1, they should’ve just let him be a bad person and let the audience hate him. Instead, the abuse feels romanticised and brushed over, forcing Blitz into somehow loving Stolas just for Vivziepop’s abusive power dynamic fetish.

Portraying bad relationships is fine and even important, but uncritically portraying abusive dynamics as a positive thing, especially those that use classism and sexism as a major part of their dynamic, is wrong.

Also people trying to defend Vivziepop fetishising gay men with the excuse that she’s bisexual is crazy. Just like the ‘I’m a lesbian so im allowed to be a fujoshi’ GIRL none of u are from Japan you don’t need to use that label you don’t even know where the stupid term comes from im so tired of fandoms, just say u like mlm fiction!! As someone who has a queer attraction to men, I do not follow and block people who call themselves fuj0shis who are weirdly enough always English speakers. I follow Japanese Lucifer/Adam artists on Twitter, and they do not call themselves that. I never came across a queer man calling himself a 'fudansh!' or a non-binary yaoi fan calling themselves a Fuj!n.

okay so I would like to elaborate on a point you made on the swagdoons moments we should talk about more. Specifically the one about red knowing about the wormhole glitch. Also the whole god thing applies to this too.

Ash avoids any reference (and has lied about it multiple times IF red is telling the truth) to red knowing anything and just never elaborates when it comes to this sort of thing. Then red is just so open about it and it kinddd of sounding like he’s bragging when he talks about it. And he told no one?? 🤨 huh? Red knew sooo far back and told no one???

here is an example:

ash commented that red wasn’t in a video because his reaction to the god thing was basically: “cool.” and did not give any other details.

red has AT LEAST said twice that he knew about the god thing from basically page one (because ash told him?? I don’t know if I’m remembering right) and he didn’t hold back from the details

My first impression: oaugh he was so mean to us in the beginning :( honestly? i did not like him (shocker i know). setting aside not having context for why he was acting like that, his character just did not strike a chord with me. the only thing that i really liked about him is that he yaps a lot and uses fancy words, and im like a moth to a flame when it comes to that shit

My impression now: THAT IS MY HUSBAND RIGHT THERE!! ughhh i love him and his character development :( hes so tragic and just. augh. he lives permanently in my brain now, the brainrot is real. i dont think im "could quote word for word" levels of obsessed, but ive listened to his audios enough times to know what hes going to say next in some instances. really a whole 180 i did there

Favorite thing about that character: his absolute adoration for Starlight. in the flashbacks, you can hear how much he loves and cares for them, and i can practically see him gazing at them starstruck, its beautiful. literally makes my cry anytime he says "my starlight" im so deadass rn 😭

Least favorite thing: honestly theres not really anything i dont like about him?? hes literally my favorite character so ofc im gonna be biased 😭😭 if anything, id like to hear more abt his past. i know he told us that story abt him and Circinus, and presumably there was more from the first time they were in the trap together, and id really like to see that, as well as their initial growing closer (again, ik that we saw some of that, but id would still like to see a more detailed version of it. like, who dropped the first "i love you"? and etc). other than that, i cant name anything off of the top of my head that i dont like abt him

Favorite line/scene: OAUGH. A character that I wish that character would interact with more: again, considering that hes only ever interacted with Starlight and Circinus, there is a whole slew of characters that id love to see him interact with! probably another demon character, like Warden or Gavin, those would be fun!

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: theres a character in a fandom named Caduceus Clay that my bf rlly likes, and i think him and Avior have a similar vibe :)

A headcanon about that character: augh i have so manyyyy 😭 ill just put down a few lol

Avior studied Greek and Roman mythology as a hobby during his first years on Elegy. he was at first intrigued by how thousands of years ago, the Greek had named the stars (which as you know, the d(a)emons are named after), and he just fell into a rabbit hole of legends and mytology after looking into it

after getting Starlight out of the trap, the areas of his body where his magic had torn itself away from him became white scars that resemble explosion scars. they're on his hands, arms, general chest area, and most of his tail. he also gained a facial scar from the fall he experienced

A song that reminds of that character: Upon Cobblestone Streets by The Family Crest. a while back i saw someone say that this song rlly fits Avior and Starlight's dynamic, i gave it a listen and immediately cried cuz they were RIGHT!!

Ahem. Okay. Okay. This is a multi-faceted question. And I plan to be very annoying about it 😁‼️‼️‼️ I’m going to put it under a break bc I actually spent (too much) time rambling and overthinking this lol

The Grant Bug Post

24-hour bug survival (lmao)

As much as I love bugs (using that term very loosely in this post btw), I doubt Grant would WANT to be a bug for a day (because he is no fun!!! 😤👎 /lh). However, let’s say he’s fighting an entomologist acolyte (who used to be one of Henry’s co-docents at the natural history museum or something lol) and is turned into a bug for 24 hours, but he gets to choose the bug beforehand.

In this situation, Grant would go for a tactical bug, but he probably also has limited knowledge of bugs (again, no fun). His pick would need to be resilient and small enough to hide/run quickly. I don’t think he would go for something that can actually do much damage; he’d rather wait out the 24 hour period. Cockroaches infamously can take a few stomps, can hold up to radiation (which mayyy have been important in pre-Code Purple apocalypse Earth?), and can kinda scurry around and hide and survive on trash for a day. They also live for about a year (not that Grant would probably know that), so in case something went awry and he WASN’T immediately turned back after 24 hours, he would live longer than other bugs, giving the other kiddads enough time to hopefully figure something out (although, if Nicky’s problem-solving skills are any evidence, they probably would NOT figure out a way to turn Grant back 😔 lol)

If Grant was in a similar situation, but he NEEDED to defend himself/others (instead of just running and hiding), I can imagine him going for something that both flies and stings, like a bee or wasp: feels sniper-y, satisfies both his violent and self-sacrificial tendencies, etc. Unfortunately, one sting is not gonna get the job done, unless maybe the acolyte is allergic to bees :) Grant is very headstrong and unfortunately would definitely launch himself into battle as fuckin bee if he was in a bad mood. Hopefully, in this situation, the other guys would be there to hold him back from becoming a bee and immediately dying 😭

I was also trying to think of bugs (or bug-adjacent creatures) that shoot projectiles of any kind (because sniper lol), but I can only think of bombardier beetles, which shoot explosive liquid out of their abdomens (very cool, but Grant would not know about them).

PS: Snails can also shoot hormonal projectiles called “love darts” that are used to determine assert sexual dominance and which snail will be male/female for reproduction (since they’re hermaphroditic) but. That’s definitely not applicable here 😭😭 I just wanted to share. They also have bad aim, so Grant could never be a snail 🙄 hehehah

Aside from missions or life/death situations, the only time I think Grant would willingly become a bug for 24 hours (<- CRAZY phrase LMAO) is to make Lincoln happy :) Link’s favorite animals are caterpillars, and I can imagine Grant finding some kind of item/spell to turn himself into a bug and IMMEDIATELY dropping everything to be Link’s pet caterpillar for the day hehe. Some kind of friendly, cute caterpillar who won’t make Lincoln itchy… or turn into a butterfly and fly away 🥲 He would even let Link shake him around in a jar for a little while (he always scolds Link for trying to keep bugs in jars hehe). That way, he gets to encourage Link’s interests in a way that is VERY safe for all parties involved. If Grant had to pick ONE bug for to become, I think he would go with a caterpillar, unless he was in the special situations I described above. (Maybe I should’ve put this paragraph higher up! :p)

Google (more specifically, this website—that’s right; I’m citing my sources in the Grant bug post 😎) says monarchs and anise swallowtails are common in southern California, and they’re both big and cute and not too prickly, so I can imagine those being some of Link’s favorites :) I think his favorite is the monarch specifically (the yellow stripey one below) but Grant likes the swallowtail (the green spotted one)

Kid/teen Grant

As a kid, I think Grant was probably grossed out by bugs and would NOT want to be one (again, boring smh). I was trying to think of a soccer-related bug, but the best I can come up with is a dung beetle 😬 He would NOT want to be a dung beetle. There are unfortunately no gamer bugs (except maybe the Pikachu spider shown below, but Grant would not like spiders, nor would he really care about Pokemon). Bugs should try playing Fortnite, I think

OKAY. On to the more important question… What bug do I think Grant would be? I’m actually shocked I’ve never thought about it before because, in past fandoms I’ve been in, I have a history of making lists of what bug each character would be. Very self-indulgent, I know. Shush. I’m being self-indulgent right now 😤 I think I’ll make a list of potential bugs for each DnDads character… ANYWAY

My immediate reaction to this question was some kind of beetle. Grant actually has always reminded me a LOT of an old anthropomorphic beetle OC I had in high school :) He was a green stag beetle—Lamprima adolphinae—and I think it suits Grant really well!

As a character, Grant generally feels very beetle-ish to me; he is very big and imposing with a tough exterior, both physically and metaphorically. BUT he can also be very lovey, easily embarrassed, bookish, a little geeky, etc. which I associate with these beetles in particular mostly just because of that old OC I mentioned before. And they’re GREEN! Grant is green (in my heart and mind hehe). It’s perfect B)

I know my initial cockroach mention might’ve sounded funny, but I can definitely imagine Grant as a roach o_o !!! Again, they’re wide and sturdy and headstrong, but flighty/skittish at the same time. Very Grant. I also could see him being an assassin bug. The name works for him too haha 🥲🥲

I could also MAYBE imagine him as other similarly sleek bugs, like a bald-faced hornet, but I think beetles or true bugs (assassin bugs, cicadas, etc.) suit him best. I can’t really imagine him being a small bug

Agwjwhxnxkwjwhwhw Erikaaaa thank you for sending this in, and it came just in time since I just finished my assignments for the week about 10 minutes ago 😆!

So for YuNeva *ahem* I am 100% biased in this, but imo, they make sense and compel me 😌. I love my opposites attract, but there’s something about people with similar personalities (but opposite appearances) that also pull me in 😆! They’re just so…good together. They don’t really force each other out of their comfort zones, but instead kind of ease each other out of them gradually! Neva helps Yuno warm up to the other GD members, while Yuno helps her begin to trust the others. Also I love how in sync and comfortable they are around each other, because the whole “they say together in comfortable silence” thing that I have with them was completely unintentional, like, I honestly put that in there because I didn’t know what else to do! But it just fits them so well, and I just…i love them your honor 😭!

Now for Zerilliam…they also make sense and compel me (shocker I know 😆!)! They’re very much the “looks compliment one another, but their personalities are completely opposite!” And it’s just so beautiful 🤧! I love how William is forever “on his toes” when it comes to Zera, and how she always shocks him with her bratty and impish ways! But I also love how he manages to take her by surprise with his witty comebacks or actions, and how he’s always patient with her when it comes to her craziness and shenanigans! I also love how Zera pushes William out of his comfort zone, and how quickly he adapts to it (which ends up taking them both by surprise), but I also love how he manages to reel her in and tone down her antics! I just love these two as well your honor 😭!

just read through a couple of comments on TikTok about George and Lewis Sim work and I really think that some of CultLh are not the smartest… like they said that Merc obviously sabotaged the sim so that Lewis doesn’t know what the car feels like and also wondering how George’s car set up is always way better then Lewis… then someone pointing out that george is very often in the sim and looking for his best set up before the race and that they can’t sabotage the sim bcs Lewis is like almost never there… hence Lewis crazy set up choices and the reason why his performances flip flop so much compared to George… cultLH then said Lewis can’t be in the sim bcs Merc is blocking him and the other fan saying that totally bs since Lewis himself stated many many times how he does not like the sim… and then it got very nasty…

and I think you can see it with George that if you put in the work you get your reward. and also the only reason that I hope that Merc come out of the block firing next season or even the season after that it just to show cultLH that Lewis is not the reason a team is good and also for george so that people can see that hard work and trust is rewarded and for the engineers who work soo hard on the car to make it somewhat drivable and have to deal with LH comments and complaints in the media… like his tone is getting out of hand I feel (note: I want to make it clear that I don’t like Toto)

First of all let's dissect em one by one

Point 1 : CultLHtok thinks the sims are sabotaged so LH can't get the feel of the car like George did because George spends more time in the sim

My answer: Then just go do more sim works??? 😂😂😂 Besides who has the job to switch in and switch out sim settings just to do that when Mercedes has tons of simulator drivers doing it? And that argument is only valid if you sabotage the sim and ask for a random karting driver who never gets a taste of the single seaters to drive it. Like come on.... Why do CultLH love to degrade their faves when their fav is one of the seniors in F1.... When their fav won 100+ trophies and 7x WDC... Do we honestly think he's that dumb to not know if the sim is tampered? Why do these guys have a tendency of thinking their fav is dumb as hell when he is not?

Point 2: Set ups.

Lewis himself said that it was HIS decision to do an experimental cocktail with his set ups? Like himself even said that not so long ago in China and somewhere in 2023 between Singapore and Qatar. He said that he "plays" with his set ups to "add" more performance on his side despite a good FP and set up already hence he had some botched qualis afterwards and had to copy George's set ups. He said it himself that it was HIS decision to be experimental and in China, even acknowledged how it was disadvantageous to his performance and he should stop doing it.

And again... If he wants to not mess the set up? Get in the sim...

Idk how they process things but they gonna say shit like

mass x acceleration = GEORGE RUSSELL

and they'll blame everything on him... Yawning.

I then continued to tell him that I not only do I write about the 2 of us (like I am now), but about the tickle fics i write for my OCs and characters of other fandoms. He was surprised and even looked me up on google, and low and behold, he found me.

After all of that, I then asked him, "Is it weird that i have a blog about tickling?"

"Of course not. Tickling is something you love, and from what you've told me, it's gotten you through a lot of hardships because it cheers you up. Why would I judge you or shame you for something you love and something that I can easily provide for you?"

And when he said he would provide, oh my goodness, does he provide. After that conversation, he straddled me and started tickling me like crazy. When I would try to fight back, he would grab my wrist and hold them back.

Some days later, i believe during the weekend while at his place, he had left early morning for work and i decided to sleep in. After waking up, I helped his mother make her other sons' halloween costumes (It was really fun! My mother was a tailoress and she taught me how to mend clothes, so doing this with my boyfriend's mother felt like i was doing clothes with my momma again, and it was great 🥰💖 God bless that woman, I love her so much!)

Around mid-afternoon, my boyfriend came home from work, ad we just cuddled for the rest of the day. and once again, my boyfriend's hands started to travel up my sides and he started tickling me once again. And while I was laughing my ass off, he says, and I quote:

He sat down on the floor with me between his legs just tickling me.

where we were sitting, we had a clear view of the oven door, and he goes, "Who's that giggly girl? Who is she? Do you know her?"

After our day out, my boyfriend's mother drove us back to campus. While driving back, my boyfriend wrapped his arm around me and started tickling me; my sides, belly, thighs, behind my knees, neck

i mean. it’s crazy to me, sometimes. i’ve been ( unknowingly ) selfshipping for over a decade and had around ? twenty—five f/os in total ? and of course, they all had an impact on me, but — he’s so different. he’s what i’ve always envisioned my partner to be, as cliché as that sounds. i could talk about what all i love about his personality for ages — to name a few; his playfulness / childishness, how much he cares, and his protective nature ❤︎

also one of my favourite fun facts about him is that he dislikes alcohol just like me and that is so stupidly comforting ;;;
