Ideal mate: A great friend that doesn’t mind a taller woman 07. Turn-ons: I honestly cannot think of any08. Favorite food: Shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate09. Best kept secrets: Elizabeth acts very proper and comes off as having her life somewhat together but boy does she actually have no clue what’s going on half the time.16. Last thought: “Is this the part where I tell my family I’m coming to see them again?”17. Worst romantic experience: None18. Biggest insecurity: She’s kinda tall and walks around in heavy armor and a lot of people find that strange for a woman.19. Weapon of choice: A big ol greatsword20. Role Model: She really admires Aveline

Lose Weight With My Diet Of Artisanal LSD Tabs And Ditch Grains Fed To You Through Our Feed Hole
It's true that imitation is the best form of flattery, but that's not always ideal when your deity is a 900,000-lb. God Whale with the malevolent power of alchemy. Alas, those marathon sessions in our prayer/opium dens can do a number on the belly, which is why the Church Of False-Vestigially has implemented a state-of-the-art health program with only a 40% failure* rate. It's called the "LSD Hole Diet," and it's totally shaking up the diet world. Read the full article

For dishonored 2, the non lethal option for Kirin jindosh is almost as bad as killing him to me. Taking away his mind seems like taking away all he has but he seems happy. How do you feel about it? Do you think you'd ever write about the new confused Kirin or even his recovery?
Hoooo boy. Okay.
The way I feel about the non-lethal option for Jindosh is...complicated. On one hand, he's an objectively HORRIBLE person. He's absolutely horrible. He has few (if any) redeeming qualities; he commits murder and torture in the name of SCIENCE!!!! and doesn't feel remotely guilty about it; he views other human beings as objects, he thinks of them as THINGS, he has absolutely no empathy whatsoever; and he'd totally planned to use the device on Sokolov even though it would likely destroy the very thing he needed Sokolov for, which is just straight-up dick and he knows it. The guy's a fucking monster and, in a series where the non-lethal options are designed around the idea of ironic just desserts, he certainly deserves the punishment.
However.
A fun fact about me is that I watched both of my grandmothers, maternal and paternal both, develop Alzheimer's disease. This was not something that happened quickly. They both started showing signs of it in their early seventies, and they were both in their nineties when their bodies finally gave out (I say "bodies" because their minds were long gone. They were nonverbal by the end, and you could see it in their eyes -- they just weren't there anymore). I also take care of dementia patients on the regular: they've fallen and broken a hip, they're getting worse and striking out at their caregivers, it's newly onset and their families don't know what to do...you name it, we see it. And we see it a lot.
Basically, all of this is background for why I'm 100% serious when I say the idea of losing my mind is my greatest fear bar NONE. It's also background for why I was so viscerally upset when I hit that point in the game that I had to turn it off for a while so I could go take a "i am very upset right now" walk. For all intents and purposes you're essentially lobotomizing the guy, and that's just...it bothers me. Even though he's an awful person. Even though he's done horrible things, and planned to do a whole bunch more. It upset me, a LOT, and it's difficult for me to determine the extent to which my discomfort is "lobotomy is really fucked up and I'm not cool with it under any circumstances" and how much of it was "THIS IS LITERALLY SOMETHING OUT OF MY WORST NIGHTMARES". It's hard to tell! Because it’s complicated!
As to whether I'd ever write about it, I'm honestly not sure. I've definitely toyed with it (mostly in the context of him slowly getting his mind back and, like Hypatia, coming to terms with all the awful awful shit he did and why), but people seem really angry about the idea of redemption arcs for objectively awful characters of late and I'm relatively sure I'd get raked over the coals for it, soooo...*shrug*. I don’t know.

Corvo awoke with a start, his hand on the sword's hilt under his pillow in an instant. Usually he was a light sleeper, a necessary feature in a Lord Protector, but it was a testament to how tired he was that he did not stir until he felt change blankets on his chest. He froze, staring through the darkness.
A thought flourished within the haze of sleep: If they wanted to see him dead, he would be dead.
Corvo was most definitely still breathing.
The intruder stood motionless by the bed and looked back until his eyes adjusted. He was just springing up on him that the intruder seemed especially short when the image solved in the face of the little Empress, Emily. She smiled at him, small and timid.
"Sorry, Corvo," she whispered needlessly now that he was awake. "I did not want to wake you up."
She released her blankets and stepped back, seeming to reconsider her actions.
"Lady Emily ... what are you doing?" Corvo asked, dragging a hand across his face to ward off sleep from his eyes. He renounced his understanding of his sword and leaned on his elbow to better see her. "You should be in bed, ma'am, it's late." An Empress needs to sleep if she's doing well in the classes Callista has planned for her. "Despite the hour, her voice was typical and unshakable in her patience and kindness.
"I was just ... checking on you," she replied, and smiled her mercurially. Corvo knew better, of course, and simply shook his head.
"I'm fine, I promise, what do you need?"
Lady Emily clasped her hands behind her back and swung on her bare heels, avoiding her gaze.
"Nothing," she said.
"Emily ..." he warned softly. She frowned and looked at her feet for a moment. Corvo waited.
"I had a nightmare," she confessed, wrapping her arms around her light frame. "Callista's in the tower with me, but ... I feel safer here." She swayed a little, a tremor, though out of fear or cold, it was hard to say.
Corvo could not help the small, fond smile that crept into her face. Even an Empress had the occasional nightmare.
"My Lady, there is no need to be afraid, you are safe here."
Emily scrambled into her bed and clung to him by answer. He hesitated, because this was so far from his realm of expertise was almost laughable. He was not a father, he was the Lord Protector, and chasing the monsters under the bed had never been one of his functions. When he heard her weeping, however, it was horrible and broken and heart-wrenching. He sat down and closed her in his arms. Tears streamed hot through her nightgown, and he held her tighter, gently resting his cheek on the top of her head.
The sound of his crying ripped him like the twist of a knife in his gut, an unexpected and overwhelming visceral reaction, he felt angry and protective and completely helpless, all at once. He would move mountains to her if he would keep her safe, and he would cut off all the evil that dared to hurt her, but even so, he realized that he could not protect her from everything except all the monsters he Pursued in his own mind.
When his tears and his breathing slowed began to return to normal, he rubbed his back gently and handed her a tissue to wipe his eyes.
"You want to tell me about it," he said. Emily shook her head, hiding her face in his chest again. "That may help. I can protect you better if I know what to look out for."
She seemed to consider for a moment, sitting on her heels. When she spoke, her voice choked.
"It was ... dark, it was all cold, he looked a lot like Dunwall, but broken and ... wrong." A man was watching me, smiling, with those big, empty eyes.He was not scary like a monster, but he was still It was ... scary. He said he was watching me.No matter where I ran, he was there. "
Corvo grimaced. The Outsider. Corvo be sure to talk to the damn whalegod about this the next time we intersected. It made sense that he would be fascinated by Emily and would be keeping an eye on her, but that does not mean Corvo had to like it.
"He will not hurt you," Corvo assured him.
"Did you know him?" Emily asked, her eyes wide in the shadows.
"Yes, I do," he admitted. This would be a discussion for a long, long time. "He's not really a bad man, but he can be disturbing." "Ignore him." "And if he scares you again, just call for me." "I'll be there to protect him.
"Promise you'll be there?" Emily asked. His voice was quieter now, and punctuated with a yawn.
"I promise, I'll always be there." He frowned to himself in the dark, knowing there were limits to his promise. More likely than not, she would survive him. If something were to happen to him, or throughout this Conspiracy thing, or by serving as his bodyguard, he would leave her all alone. He could not protect her from all the horrors of the world. She-damn, he was not a father. He was a Lord Protector, a soldier, not a caretaker. He did not kiss the pain of bruises or take care of the grated knees or comfort a girl's fears with the weight of the Empire on her shoulders. He was not sure it was a role he could fill. She needed her mother.
'Jessamine,' he reminded himself, 'you're not her.You could not protect her, how would you protect Emily?' 'That stinging thought.òÀÝ His throat tightened, and he let out a long, uneven sigh.To distract himself, He smoothed his hand over his hair.He could not keep thinking like this.Emily needed a Lord Protector with a clean head.
"Good," she said, unaware of the uncertainties in her protector's mind. "I'm glad you're here, Corvo." She turned against her pillow and pulled at her shirt. He sagged, lying on his side to give her most of the small mattress, and watched her close her eyes. In the dark, with her hair scattered on the pillow and her eyelids fluttering against her cheeks, she was the incarnation of her mother. He made Pain Heart Corvo. That Emily would grow up without the bright influence in her life was a tragedy, that Corvo would have to face the prospect of growing old without her, too, was another quite different.
"He said something about my mother," Emily said, her eyes still closed. "The man in my dream. He said ... he said she was a good person."
"She was," Corvo muttered. Despite the tightness in his throat, he could not leave these things untold. "The Empire never had so great and just a ruler."
"You're going to tell me about her, just a little, and then I go to sleep, I promise."
"You remember her, do not you, Emily?"
"I remember her as my mother, you remember her as the Empress. Corvo could not argue with that. He remembered being his age in Serkonos, wanting to ask someone about his parents, too. He understood the desire to know more about the people they were. It made the loss a bit more bearable. He sighed and turned his head to look through the darkness at the planks of the ceiling.
She was able to capture a crowd with only her voice, and to win any argument she entered. She was smart, fair, and had an incredible gift to realize Trouble before it overflowed. And she was the most beautiful woman in all the Empire. "
Emily turned to smile at him, the small smile, knowing she was well beyond her years.
"You love her?"
Corvo looked at her, frowning. Observer, just like his mother. As much as he felt it was a private affair ... did Emily deserve to know that the Empress had been loved?
"Yes," he whispered, and swallowed against the lump in his throat. "I loved her, I still love her very much."
"Awwww," Emily smiled. "I think she loved you, too."
"I know," smiled Corvo. That, he had never had any doubt. "And she loved him with all her heart, Emily. Never forget that."
"I will not," the tiny Empress said, pulling the blankets up to her chin. "Thanks for talking to her, Corvo."
"You are welcome." The Lord Protector drew the blankets over himself, too, and closed his eyes. The Pits Hound at night was anything but silent. Snoring, the building of sedimentation and creaking, the old heating pipes whistling and rattle, all the sounds filtered down the floor with ease, but it was still a little peace, in its own way When Emily spoke, he almost lost , He was sure she had already fallen asleep, but he only caught the whisper before he disappeared into the darkness.
"I miss her." It was an admission not so much for him but for the veil of darkness that pressed around them. It was not the tearful howl of fresh sadness, but the simple acknowledgment of a fact that would remain faithful for the time she lived. Emily had already made her mourning, she cried all the tears she needed to cry. Likewise, the Corvo wrapped his arms around her. He was not too talented to be a father, but he would do his best. He kissed the top of her head and whispered into her hair.
"Me too."
#dishonored#jessamine kaldwin#corvo attano#emily kaldwin#subclávia#repost#I would love to see a scene of Dishonored where Emily has a nightmare and runs to the Crow for comfort. So do it! : D

for the dating sim thing i'd pick haley!
Ay! (Haley’s who I’d pick too) Haley is probably super charming, composure and charisma to the max at first but as things get more serious he’ll turn into an adorable smitten mess, actually blushing sometimes when shown real affection.
His dates consist of going for long drives to places with a great view and going for coffee on a brisk chilly day
You’ll find out more about his past and he definitely has some things to work through but it’ll be all the more easy with someone he can trust
