Today’s enrichment for my enclosure was a new giant whale shark plushie pattern! I got all the machine sewing done, I just need to add the stuffing and close the opening for turning tomorrow

finally after some time i deided to try and draw Misaki once again, since he was around a lot more and none of the previous pictures really managed to capture his appearance to its most true extend. This time around i am not just happy with how the art looks in general, but also that i acctually managed to capture him in a way that feels like its actually him! Before, while the picutres werent wrong, they were just.. off ? but anyway! I managed to also practice and play around with colors and just anatomy and clothes in general since, sketching it out was a struggle and took almost hours in total y-y I was truly struggling a lot with the way things just work, but i managed to pull through it uwu!! Simple backrgound with sharks cuz he likes sharks :) -Dairiem

WIP snippet of my Zora Xenomorph design where the head is inspired by a barrel-eye fish >:) major test of strength omfg. Zoramorph lore under cut if you haven't seen it yet!

The Zoramorph in botw/totk (insp from Xenomorphs/Aquamorphs):

• Located between the ocean twilight zone and midnight zone.

• Intelligent and primarily communicates through their own clicks on a frequency hard to pick up, (as well as screeching). The Zoramorph Queen’s hivemind telepathy has a hard time reaching this particular one though.

• While underwater, they have the usual xeno stealth, adaptability and speed while also dulling down their own bioelectric field, making them harder to detect unless they are nearby (dolphin or whale zora have a higher chance of detecting them further away)

• Echolocator with slightly improved Ampullae of Lorenzini, hearing and olfactory system than other zora

• Weakness: Since there’s no fire underwater, perhaps they’re weak to hydrovent blasts, sudden pressure change, or get weaker when out of water for too long.

• Like usual xenos, the zoramorph cannot be outrun unless you’re like a sailfish zora RIP

• If you mix acid and water, it pretty much combusts and boils. Since xeno blood is acid, it’ll be like bursts of boiling water when they’re underwater. Don’t swim through it! It may cause weapons to corrode.

• A favourite hunting ground when luring a zora is a large, dimly lit abandoned cavern system that was once a zora domain (underwater/airpocketed). They hide the exits.

• Tools useful as a distraction to flee would be aquatic plants/potions similar to puffshroom, muddlebud, dazzlefruit, bomb flower etc. Better if using an underwater bow with these. Also can be tripped out if pufferfish & dreamfish are used lol. (dolphins irl get high on pufferfish, dreamfish causes hallucinations).

• DO NOT GO OUT AT NIGHT. Common sense for zoras, as deep fish/seamonsters vertically travel to shallower waters to hunt at night. Zoramorphs may go higher up!

• Usual Queen, Drones, Warriors etc. Usual facehuggers and ovomorph eggs

• Facehuggers are like weird tailed crab-looking things that hide beneath the sand to latch on unsuspecting victims. These facehuggers are only in deep water.

• This one helped destroy a nearby zora domain but fuckd up the orders. He also cannot be bothered on occasion, and not as good at being as sneaky as the others.

• Another zoramorph colony hijacked his colony and killed their Queen, assimilating them into theirs.

• If it suits, they will cooperate with outside forces against a common enemy or in survival circumstances. This is very rare. But he would like to get back at the enemy Queen that took over, as his original Queen was nice to him :')))

• Ship sinkers

• Their semi-translucent heads look like shark skulls or barrel-eye fish underneath

On your left, you will notice we are passing by Port Mayor, Great Britain. A lovely fishing port run by an absolute bastard of a person. Make sure on your stop you steal a hearty handful from the Royal’s pockets, and try their regional specialty: Port Plum Pudding. Great for the season.

🌋Isle of Talon Rock🌋

Oh, this one’s a lovely sightseeing adventure! Talon Rock is an inactive volcano in the center of thick jungle. Do watch your feet for snakes; they are quite venomous here. The igneous walls of the lava tubes are home to a variety of rich gems, but make sure you vacate before high tide if you don’t want to get your clothes wet.

We arrive at another port. Excellent tailor at this location; this is where I picked out most of Benjamin’s fashion.

This one looks deceptive at first glance, but a trove of valuables rests deep enough inside the many underwater cave systems. You’ll have to do a little spelunking, but if you reach deep enough the treasures are ripe for the taking~

Dragon sheet WIP and request for ideas.

I imagine a creature as big as the dragons would act like an ecosystem of their own, similar to how whales or great sharks are always followed by smaller fishes, pasasites and many other critters.

What kind of creatures do you think the dragons would carry?

For the moment I have through about vultures, crows and scavenger birds that follow it to get a piece of what it hunts.

thanks to the people who interacted with my og mermed post who reminded me I've meant to post this wip of the rest of them but kept forgetting, since it might never get finished.

Well, minus the Kankers and Bro, who all also had merfolk designs but I never got to them.

All 3 Kankers were going to be different kinds of sharks: Lee a Great White, Marie either a tiger or Mako, and May a Nurse Shark... and ofc Bro was going to be a whale though I was struggling between the sperm whale like his trailer or a humpback for better design.

WIP: Diver Lola and a merman Jonathan!

I've seen a lot of fanart that portrays Jonathan as a whale shark merman, so I wanted to jump on the bandwagon. I've been scuba diving before, and I'm glad that it's not in one of those huge clunky suits anymore. They're terrifying!

Over the course of this month I'll be posting some of the game's art to this blog! This image is a sneak peak of content only available in the full release!

This image depicts the other princess you can meet: the Lettuce Mermaid, a minor princess of the Mermaid Kingdom and a close personal friend of both the Pizza Knight and the Water Ice Princess. Kidnapped by the Chocolate Count for witnessing the WIP's abduction, the Lettuce Mermaid has recently freed herself from the tank she was imprisoned inside and is currently struggling to escape the kitchen. Mermaids in this world have the upper halves of a human, the vestigial feet of a seal, the tails of a baleen whale, the teeth of a mackerel shark, and the pectoral fins of a tuna.

I didn't realize how many things I've made until I went through my pictures and realized I don't even have images of everything...I also have a lot of wips I still need to finish (I still need to finish the snoopy tapestry bag also)

for 2024 I want to finish more of my wips and also make more clothing/bags! 2024 will be the year I finally make a cardigan or vest I swear 🫡💗
