Things have been pretty quiet while the job hunt marches on, but in the interest of using up stuff I have already, last week I got a jump start on something I've been wanting to do for a while, and knocked out a couple of wet formed leather pouches and re-dyed the gunbelt to match plus strung and dyed a rope girth belt to go underneath. (Not settled on the buckle of the gunbelt though) Seeing how well the leather took a shine when I burnished the whole surface, I went back and gave the pouch I made for my #doloresabernathy the same treatment, and now I love it all over again. I didn't make the holster, and since it's a #vintage piece in good shape with a pretty patina, I'm not gonna dye over it, and instead it'll be used as a pattern for two matching new ones. It's not much so far, but it's a step towards my first #mandalorian kit! Finished up this custom sheath for this Ka-bar Becker BK2. This sheath has a pocket for a ferro rod striker and allows regular carry, or horizontal carry. The removable dangler acts as a third attachment in horizontal carry.
