oh it's an au i've been poking at since last august!! essentially cas is a human, his parents get killed by a demon attack when he's 12, and Bobby is the hunter that takes him in. all is the same with the winchesters/dean and sam occasionally being dropped off at Bobby's, so dean and cas grow up together. it's a friends to enemies to friends to lovers au 👀

ooh it's actually a destiel au bang fic! (the promo is here) and it's actually posting NEXT saturday, not tomorrow, i misspoke because i'm only functioning with one brain cell and it's on vacation lol

but i am working on a fic about dean and cas meeting as kids! it's my "castiel singer" fic where Bobby takes in Cas after his parents are killed by a demon. I cooled my jets on that one for a bit for both the bang fic and also for the reverse verse madness. but that one will be posted eventually:)

Sam, hi! I see the divorce fic is winning ('my" reverse verse fic deserves better 😂 I'm kidding:) Do you have some excepts from the divorce fic already?

It's so neck and neck between the divorce fic and the s12 truth spell case fic that it's CRAZY. i truly don't know where it'll land! for the divorce fic, i only have a sketchy vibes-only paragraph about it and one small scene, but if it wins the poll i better get my butt moving! for the s12 truth spell case fic however, i have 10k of that. inspiration struck last week 😆

but all of them will be written, don't worry! it's just a matter of choosing what to focus all my efforts on next (and i WILL honor the poll results 🫡)

but now you have two cakes! yay! the chapters will be (hopefully) snack-sized too (about 3-4k each) but each will be (hopefully) emotional in their own right.

Sam, do you know how many chapters will be in the whump cas fic?

hi!! right now i'm thinking it'll just be one big long chapter, if it's under 20k. if it starts edging over that, then i'll divide it into chapters probably, but still just post it all at once (or at the very most stagger it over a couple of days). i have a wip im going to start posting as a weekly thing like i normally do (the reverse verse i sometimes post snippets of) so for this whump fic i just wanted to knock everyone over the head with it all at once lol

Sam, now I visit your blog more often because I want to see snippets from that reverse verse fic. Sometimes it's upsetting when I don't find any, don't know how I will live with weekly updates 😂 (on the other hand, it can't be harder than Paradigm, can it?) The new snippet is cool, I like these two more & more💚💙

OMG i'm so glad you're excited about it though!! i wasn't sure how people would vibe with the reverse verse since it's not a thing i see often in fandom but i'm glad you and some others are excited about these little guys lol. it's really fun to write dean as an angel with his canon idiosyncrasies and explaining them from a different angle - and making Cas much more hardened/cynical as almost a shade of endverse Cas but with that rigid control that s3-5 Cas had. idk!! it's fun to play with! i'm just glad you like it too!!!

hahah it's just because 7 is so short! i wanted to do 7 because they're the 7 properties of light because.... light lol. so since the length of chapter 7 is so brief, i'm combining 6+7 :)

Btw, Cas didn't listen to Gadreel, right? In the main story he told him to go to Canada. Here, "Then you keep traveling north and get yourself into Canada, far away from this mess." On the other hand, maybe it was their way of traveling north😀

correct, he did not! Cas and Dean decided to do the opposite and go to NYC 🤣 I don't really get into it much in the fic, but their reasoning is lots of people to blend into since, city, and also Dean has old contacts in NYC to hide them (like Charlie)

Hi, Sam! I finished reading the story yesterday and left my comments almost under every chapter, but decided not to write one after the epilogue and come here. It was good but fast 😂 anyway you definitely can write romcoms, so good luck with it! When is the next story? 😏 Thank you! I'm glad they figured it out and fulfilled their dreams. Even though Dean makes jokes about Cas sometimes, what he said to Ben about him😀

What does bankruptcy mean in Dean's case? If he looses the ranch, he's gonna go bankrupt anyway, no? I thought it's the only thing he has. Not immediately, since he'll get some money from it, but. Thank you!

hi!!! that's a good question. basically he just wants to hang onto the ranch until the bitter end because it's the last thing to the winchester name, and he doesn't want it to completely implode (or be sold) on his watch. basically cas was suggesting that dean sell the ranch while it still has value, rather than going to that bitter end, declare bankruptcy, have his assets seized, and having it go to auction or something while getting nothing from it.

A horse?!! I love this fic in advance. And your answer reminds me this Jensen's story about a horse called Bebe, whom he planned to call Baby:D Next Saturday can't come close enough. It's good I have a fic (or two?) from reverse bang to distract me this week.

AW CUTE and he totally would hahaha. I'm glad that the fic will be a welcome distraction! i'm sooo excited for the rest of the fics to come out from the reverse bang too - my month of february/march is just going to be me reading fic upon fic!
