Lycanthrophy Self Care!
Lycanthrophy transformations can take alot out of you! You need to learn how to treat yourself well and be able to take care of yourself! All Werecreatures have a different way of treatment considering different species and animals, but here are some tips that can be used by most or even all Werecreatures
Stim Toys
Have toys and forms of entertainment next to you! Chew toys, balls, scratching posts, and things alike to keep you entertained when you are unable to go outside or have no one around to be with you
Grooming Items
Have things to treat your fur/scales/skin whenever you can, brush your fur, polish your scales, oil your murky skin, eat something that aligns with your creature, like bugs or small animals. Be sure to take some nights to sleep or rest and adapt to your Werecreature form with a nightly routine
Good food
Have tasty treats on the go whenever you arent in the mood to hunt, prepare according to your animal and have some set aside for the lazy nights and treat yourself
Bath time
We all need hygiene, take the time to keep in touch in your cleanliness, brush your sharp teeth, wash your fur or skin, sharpen your claws and keep yourself good looking
Adapt a Routine
We are still human inside and we still want to do things, practice doing your human activities at night time, drawing, knitting, cooking, and other activities as such to give yourself a moment to yourself while still enjoying your hobbies
Self Love
Practice love for yourself, let yourself love your body, your mind, your gift, yourself. Give yourself time to rest the mind and spirit, dress whatever makes you feel pretty, accessorize however you want, be the Lycanthrope you wish to be.
That's all! Take care and keep howling!

Unfortunately most legends do dictate that they dont, due to their known fast regeneration and skin tissue repair it's a good possibility that trans scars will disappear on a Werewolf
however that is mainly only a suggestion and not a rule so give that werewolf those scars
do post-op trans werewolfs keep all their scars when theyve gone dogmode. this is crucial information

Summer is here and you are a werecreature with alot of fur. Now what?
The summer seasons can be a fun time for many, no work, no stress, only fun and relaxation under the sun and the moon! But most werecreatures are very furry, and that hot thick fur could really get in the way and cause severe problems. So what should you do? First, know what kind of fur you possess. Every creature has different kinds of furs, Wolves, Dogs, Cats, Hyenas, Coyotes and so on, the lenght, the thickness and how much you have has a major difference on how to properly maintain it and take care of it.
Once you do, ask a local vet or inform yourself with the internet and books about what these creatures would do in the summer heats, what keeps them cool and healthy during the heatwaves.
If by chance at night times, you have a major different appearance from the animal you are [Having more fur then a hyena usually has for exemple] you'll have to take direct action, even if you think you'll be OK, you can never be too careful.
Ask your most trusted friend to give you a trim and cut down that fur for the nights, ask them for company and to do things you're unable to do due to your size and clumsy clawed hands or paws, such as turning on the AC or fan or getting cool drinks in the fridge.
By the chance you arent conscious at night and turn savage/feral, you cant depend on a trim. You'll have to prepare before the night comes. Before you chain or lock yourself, get as many fans as you can and place them in front of where you stay, or turn the AC on in a low but cooling temperature as to not completly freeze the room. Replace your water with iced water and if only absolutely possible, keep the window open just a crack.
For day times, when you are a human, you will feel extra heated due to the werecreature symptoms and the mean sun, be sure to take just as good care as your human self as you would do with your nightly self. Drink plenty of water, eat very clean and fresh foods, eat some nice cool treats, have fun while you can! Enjoy a beach, a pool, out with friends, a picnic, enjoy life!
But what about the Scaley Werecreatures?
Scaley creatures such as lizards, snakes, crocodiles and such arent as much in danger as furry werecreatures, the scales are strong against heat and these creatures actually enjoy the heat. But they are stil not immune to the same cares that the furry werecreatures are reccomended.
Be sure to take plenty of cold showers, while the scales are able to handle the heat, you may not notice you could be overheating, so pay attention and be sure to refresh yourself regularly. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of refreshing fruits to keep you cool.
During the night times, if possible, have a friend over to help cool you down, scales in the summer could compromise movement and you could get a little hard to move, having a friend will help reach those tough spots. Some icepacks on the scales could be refreshing and relaxing at the same time
If you arent conscious at night times and become savage/feral, once again, keep the fans or AC on and have some cool water next to the cages or chains.
With all that said, have fun in the sun fellow werecreatures! be safe and keep howling!

Any self care advice for Werebats? (Carnivore types such as greater false vampire bats)
be sure you're in a very dark room for the best care of your eyes, stock up on blood if you can, try getting some in blood banks for best nutrition without hurting anyone
watch your body temperature, you can get cold easily so make sure your room is nice and warm
always stretch your wings, go flying every once in a while in the dark hours of the night where not many are awake

When it comes to canines, Werewolves, WereFoxes and WereDogs have similar care
What about WereFelines?
WereCats, WereHyenas, WereTigers and so on have much different care. And here's what you need to know if you happen to be one of them!
1. Your changes are vastly different
Unlike for canines, feline behavior is extremely different when it comes to lycanthrophy. You may notice you have an affinity for walking in the sun, you might like fish a little too much now, you like to take more frequent naps and perhaps even become much more playful or even snappier. All according to how typical cat behaviors go.
Your senses will also be enhanced, but in a slightly different manner. Your eyes will glow in the dark, your claws are retractable, certain strong smells will make you gag, and your hearing will be sensitive.
Depending on what kind of feline you are, your changes could be a tad different, such as Hyenas for example, who are loud and ecstatic, could reflect on your behavior.
2. Your transformation needs alot of prepare
Every lycanthrope needs to prepare for that time of the month, sometimes some species need more prep than others.
For felines, you might rather stay indoors, for that you'll need plenty of food and stimulations, be sure you have on hand plenty of toys and things to keep you distracted.
Your diet will also change, probably to either something as simple as fish, or small animals such as mice, birds, or go big animals such as deer.
Always remember to research, you can never be too careful!
3. You might have a bigger affect on people
It's very possible that people will begin to notice a change in you. People with cat allergies are more common than with dog allergies, so being around your peers could cause them to sneeze or wheeze, even if you dont have any fur on your, the sense and scent remains, affecting them.
You also could become more clingy and cuddly, like most felines are, and be prone to groom yourself more often, causing another physical change to be noticed by others.
In these situations, honesty is always the best policy. If you really trust them, just be truthful and explain why you are like this, if they are who you hope them to bex they'll be understanding and perhaps even help you to contain these changes
4. What if you cant tell anyone?
You'll have to adapt new things into your routine and life to hide the little but noticeable changes. Invest in colognes or perfumes to disguise the cat smell, wear colored clothing to hide the cat fur, keep a stim toy around to snuggle with whenever the need hits.
Little changes in your life like this could be life-saving.
5. How can I protect and research myself further?
If you are the type to blackout when you transform, then knowing exactly what you need is more complicated.
When you can, lock yourself in a room, barricade well the doors and windows, and record yourself during the night. Keep the camera in a well-lit but hidden spot.
When you awaken the next day, rewatch the footage hopefully it isnt broken and research based on what you have recorded
6. Focus on yourself.
Like any lycanthrope, life will be difficult to manage and adapt, so always prioritize yourself first and foremost. Always be prepared in advance, invest a little more money if you can, and just be sure to make your life into something fun, not something to be dreaded.
For what you have is not a curse, but a gift.
With these tips in mind, have fun and keep howling!
Er.. Meowing!

It's the week of the full moon. Now what?
Unlike what media can say, Werewolf Lunar transformations can last a while, not just on one night, after all we have a week of lunar cycles before a new one comes around, so we have a week of full moon. Here is a guide on what to do during that terrifying time of the month! 1. Make sure you have no commitments whatsoever You need all the time you need to be at home and relax yourself during this stressful time, make sure you have the week completly free during the night time, unless you are hanging out with people who are aware of your condition and you want them around as a stress reliever/comfort source for you. But at least try to avoid any night shifts at work OK? We cant afford to eat any rude Karens as good as that sounds
2. Always have refreshments or food around The body needs energy and energy burns calories, be sure to have plenty of food and water in your home, because transformations are a MASSIVE calorie burner, do you'll be hungry even if you ate pre-transformation. Have plenty of meats, but if you dont eat meat or are vegan, try to aquire some sort of protein for the night, we dont want you getting hungry when you are most vulnerable right now.
3. Focus on yourself Transforming for a week can be exausting, mentally and even emotionally, be sure to focus on yourself and yourself only during this time, watch those show you like, meditate, draw, listen to music, sleep. Your transformed body is still your body, take care of it 4. Exercise You get full of energy after transforming, try to get some movement in! Everything counts, whether it's running in the woods or even some chill yoga, stretch your body and let loose some energy, it's healthy and helps de-stress as well. 5. Have fun! Like I said previous guide, have fun with your new self during the week, it can be tiring but you gain so many new abilities, and it can be fun with the right determination and mindset, whether it's indoors or outdoors, Lycanthrophy is an amazing gift. With these steps in mind, have a safe week! And keep howling!

Oh dear! You've been infected with a lycanthrope curse or disease! What to do now?
Fear not! This helpful guide will have all the steps on what to do before your first transformation!
Step 1. Remain Calm
At first knowing you could become a Werecreature is stressful for anyone, but for best results, you must remain cool and collected, panicking beforehand doesnt help anyone
Step 2. Research
Try to find out about your condition, whether being by bite, scratch, curse, potion etc. There is always an explanation, there is no such thing as too much preparation.
Step 3. Tell someone.
Normally we wouldnt want to tell anyone about what we are, but the more we hide this information, fhe more damage we could cause. Choose at least one person you trust the most after and tell them everything, if they are who you think they are, they will remain by your side and help you in this new phase of life.
Step 4. Pre-Transformation Prep.
Gather everything you need before your transformation, as previously mentioned you can never be too prepared. A big cage or chains or something to keep you in one place, water, food, toys or something to stimulate yourself, and if absolutely needed, tell the person you entrusted this information to stay close by, in case of emergencies.
Step 5. Exploration
If you are transformation and happen to be blessed enough with the same consciousness as before, release yourself and go outside in a secluded area where no one can see you, and test out your new body. Discover your strengths, weaknesses and limits regarding your new body and figure out new things about yourself.
Step 6. Have fun!
Now with all that out of the way, enjoy your new self! While it can be difficult controlling this new side of you, you are now what could be considered a much better form of yourself and have something amazing going on! Go out in the wild, explore, hunt, run! Or just stay inside with a good book if that's your cup of tea.
You're now ready, now go out and have fun new Lycans!

Any ideas or suggestions on sports or physical activities that can be enrichment or fulfilling to werewolves?
technically speaking most if not all physical activities are beneficial! Sure some prefur activities according to their habitat, Fish Creatures prefur swimming, Avians prefur something more aerodynamic
for Werewolves alot of sports that have to do with running or weight lifting are ideal, classic sports like soccer and baseball are very good but also track and field.
Martial arts are also great, invest in heavy fighting like Judo, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu and such, but in reality most fighting activities will do
It has to be right for you, there isnt one correct answer for a whole species, there's only what you prefur and what you have fun doing

Ok, hai.. newly formed werewolf..? My dad was already bitten by a werewolf and the lycanthropic gene kinda developed in me????
Any tips for controlling yourself?
And it is weird for human and werewolf halfbreeds to have human faces??
I definitely recommend going to your dad for advice, I would assume he would have a lot of experience already that he can teach you
As for myself, I recommend a lot of meditation, patience and time. Be in a room by yourself for the few couple of transformations, focus on your mind and heart. Whatever anger you feel? Let it out. Punch, Bite, Tear anything in your room, it can be replaced easier than lives are.
Be sure to eat well and have plenty of stimulation to keep you active and make sure your brain is well stimulated, a happy brain is a controled brain.
And while it is not weird, it is rather uncommon, but still just as valid, people just might be a little weirded out by it, nothing too bad. It is however getting more attention and awareness lately so it might be normalized then you think
Wishing you all the luck with your new gift!!
