Innocent Lamb AU

Sanji was seven years old when it first started happening. While he was desperately trying to survive his father's training and the assault of his brother's ruthless attacks, he transformed.

It hurt, but within seconds his form morphed from a frightened child and into some sort of humanoid lamb. ((A side effect of the drug Sora took when she was pregnant.))

Sanji's father was intrigued by this new ability at first and hoped it would make his son useful, but Sanji's brother's proved otherwise. The young lamb was overpowered by his siblings and mocked about how pathetic and ugly he looked.

The rest of Sanji's backstory is relatively the same, but with the added angst of this new ability.

-While locked in the GERMA dungeons, Sanji randomly transforms back and forth, unable to control his power. Luckily, just before he meets Zeff, he's learned how to retain his human form for awhile, but it puts a lot of stress on his body.

-Zeff finds out about Sanji's ability to transform a month after they are rescued from the shipwreck. He gets up one night to go get a snack from the kitchen when he stumbles upon Sanji already in there cooking. Zeff's sudden appearance scares the shit out of Sanji and he transforms by accident.

Sanji is terrified that Zeff will now throw him out, knowing he's some kind of monster, and pleads with the older man to let him stay. Zeff isn't bothered by the transformation at all and assures the kid he won't toss him wayside. (cue awkward hug)

-Zeff helps train Sanji to fight, but also how to properly control his form. It no longer puts stress on Sanji's body no matter what form he's in, but he sticks to staying human 99.99% of the time.

-As an young adult, Sanji will try to never transform. He hates his other form and thinks it's ugly, pathetic, and useless. He doesn't even tell the StrawHats about it. ((He's secretly ashamed of it))

When drawing Kangaratman, I was thinking somehow Tim would get roped into underground fighting for money, and it reminded me how much I LOOOVE the specific scenario of "werecreature gets put into a fight/cage match/etc". Doubly so when the human's not much of a fighter. >:]!! So I wanted to draw more:

Were-batfam? Indeed. Several different ideas. But which one to work on... (Little information blurbs beneath the poll)

Each were-creature keeps some physical aspects even during the day. Example being claws, fangs, tails, ears, etc. Children look more human while adults have more aspects, usually using charms to hide as humans in more public settings.

Wolf I mean, werewolves. Pretty well known. Hint of a twist. Can turn into full wolves at full moons but become humanoid-ish wolves at night.

Rabbit Bunny batfam. And I am putting this out here but rabbits can be vicious little things. If they were bigger they could definitely kick in someones chest. Also they definitely make blanket forts to snuggle in.

Cat Keep Selina away, they're cat people now! And giant humanoid cats at night. The acrobatics, the balance, the sprawling out on the rare sunny days of Gotham. How are they not the catclan of gotham- wonderful question.

Sheep You ever get kicked by a hoofed creature? It hurts. Also people are confused by their respective bat saying it's haircut day. Winter wool can get crazy. Also horns. Maybe mistaken for some sort of demonic entity some nights to their amusement.

Bat Already working on this. Poor dude gets the kids as toddlers. The League won't know what is happening. Yes he has bat ears and fangs all the time and becomes giant bat man during the night. Yes he is not impressed with Man-Bat.

woolly is a very adorable weresheep! he grew up in wales so he’d get to play and cuddle with his flock during the full moon. he does have a craving for human flesh but he’s also a sheep and can’t do much about this.

MMMHHHMMM OHHH THAT'S REALLY CUTE. You've got me smiling and giggling like a big silly over him teeheehee.

Unlike werewolf Curly, who just chews on cardboard, weresheep Curly actually eats the cardboard. It's kind of a problem because it upsets his stomach when he transforms back into his human self.

Anya loves to cuddle up in his wool like a warm, fuzzy pillow and fall asleep there. He enjoys that very much.

Sadly, transformations are still agonizing. He needs lot of painkillers to ease the period transformation pain.

No sooner had they shut the storm shelter's doors and carefully made their way down the stairs that they heard it - the hollow clang! of something falling in the darkness.

Like deer scenting a predator on the wind, Emma and Abi froze, what little relief they'd felt at finally finding somewhere to rest, somewhere to be safe, immediately supplanted by a bone-deep terror and a single unspoken question: Had coming down here instead of following after Dylan and Kaitlyn been the wrong call?

They stood there for an eternity, ears straining in the darkness until they rung, but another sound did not come; slowly, apprehensively, moving without words, they found each other's hands and locked them tight, tiptoeing their way closer to the source of the original noise. Neither knew what they'd do if they actually found something, if, as they wandered through the junk Mr. H had piled high down there under the lodge, another hulking monstrosity lurched out at them, jaw hanging loose and teeth glinting like knives.

"Oh my God," Abi said on a rush of breathless laughter, not yet ready to drop Emma's hand, so using the knot of their fingers to point, "It's just...it's just Ian...oh my...hey there little guyyy, you really scared us back th - "

But when the beloved camp mascot turned, his eyes seemed to glow red in the shadows; he threw his head back and let out a bone-chilling bleat - "BAAAAAAAH!" - and before the girls knew it, the storm shelter filled with the sound of hooves galloping after them.
