it kinda annoys me whenever people do the whole "UMM ACTUALLY" thing with that one symbol, and specifically when it has to do with censorship of it. "ummm actually it was a symbol of peace and well being because it's facing the other way" okay but you can understand why it was censored right. you can understand why the peace symbol predominantly corrupted by hate and bigotry was censored cant you. please tell me you can and you're not about to do something stupid or unreasonable with that knowledge in mind

#like of course there's a valid point to be made obviously #but the only reasons i know of in recent memory where i've seen people explain this #were in online arguments where internet chuds wanted to get away with using it as their pfp for shock value #like please let me hear a critical analysis of these kinds of issues for once without this ulterior motive #of either trying to fuck with people and be like “HAHAHA got you”#or actually having genuinely heinous motives and fueling your little online 4channer proud boy domestic terrorist cell #sorry for rambling about this i was just reminded i have great disdain for stuff like this and wanted to voice my thoughts on this #bottom line is i cant trust random people online to have intelligent and well thought out opinions and ideas on this subject #politics #rambling
