And that’s fair! I’m just too attached to her, both for Vette-reasons and for she’s Mission Vao 2.0 reasons. 😅 Also the letter you get from Gault after she dies broke my heart and I am not strong enough to do that again.
Xander is the only one who has Torian alive, and that’s bc he’s a Bounty Hunter and they’re essentially brothers. Playing in-character, all my others have prioritized Vette but intended to go for Torian too. It’s just since Mandalorians thrive on combat and view death in battle as glorious and honorable, it makes more sense to them to go for her first(even aside from my bias). Even Eisza, also a Hunter, went that route. Xander just didn’t want to lose his brother.
Now I see if I can either talk myself into doing it again(ouch) or find a way around. I do really like my Hunter who romanced Torian (why she hasn’t been deleted xD)....

Also, Ody went OFF on Rivix and it was great. It's been really fun playing with her relationship to him compared to my other saboteurs.
Jaaide, Tragen, and Sha'reii are being polite, playing nice, bc that's their default when dealing with the Empire, hiding destructive intent behind a pretty smile. Waiting for Rivix specifically to show his hand before they fully react/antagonize. Xander and Eisza just don't care(bc Hunters. No reason for Imperials to think they're super loyal anyway).
Ody? Ody took the initial meeting flirt option when she was getting a handle on him, but none since. She's fiercely protective of the Alliance's independence from the Empire(even as she "the plan is working >:D" with Jonas instead of "WHEN CAN I LEAVE?"), almost always pushes back at least a little before giving Rivix anything he asks for. If she relents at all.
And then comes Dantooine. And he kills someone that she very specifically told him to leave alive, and breaks out exaggerated faux-innocence when she yells at him for it. ("It wasn't my fault, he was just weak" he says, as if she'd believe that when she watched him do it on purpose.) He is on thin fucking ice with her now, thinner than for the rest of them, and she doesn't give enough of a shit about appearances to play nice anymore. So she finds him keeping secrets and going behind her back to talk to Vowrawn and she just snaps. I love that the animation if you pick that dialogue has him giving ground as you get in his face to yell at him(Well aware it's a facade of deference, especially after the cutscene in Old Wounds). Ody is not afraid of death. She is not afraid of anything he could do to her, and she is pissed. She couches it in being upset at being left out of the loop, but that's really only part of it.
This man comes in with his silver tongue and assurances he's here to help her get whatever she needs to aid the Hand and he'll follow her directives and then then first time he wants to do something strongly enough has no problem going selectively deaf to her desires. She is over it, over him, and needs to go shoot some things now.
#queen in space#odessa isric#added a cut bc that got longer than expected#i'm aware rivix kills meinar nmw bc bioware needed him dead to cut down on variables#but it still pisses all my imp children off to no end#honestly ody being open about her emotions/reaction is a good thing#she's stopped bottling everything up behind a front of implacability#it was really funny that she went straight from sote to the vector alliance alert that's ''hey there's something up with rivix#he's unnaturally good at charming people into doing what he wants so maybe keep an eye out for that?''#and ody's just "yeah he annoys me to no end. no worries here 👍''#i meant to screenshot that convo and forgot :|

(sure. to help Mandalore out. 👀 That’s why you’re glad she’s here.)
(okay, that’s not specifically flirty, but it fits with them being banter-y, so.)
Kina went the “no breaking comm silence” route, btw, since I knew from Eisza there’s no negative fallout to that. Also, it’s what she would do.
this one is BEGGING to be ficc’ed, and I will do it. Probably soon.
(again, not technically a flirt, but I love that Rass went “I’m gonna kill that guy” Kina responded “Let me help” Rass: 😍😍😍)
#queen in space#kina taldine#rass ordo#kina/rass#they feel like they'd do the back-to-back badass-movie-couple pose and then smirk at each other and start laughing

@storyknitter she will take that hug, thank you.
@shynmighty It sort of depends on the character? There hasn’t been any major positive payoff yet, but it’s not as rough for all my kids as it is Jaaide. I have.... five Imp toons caught up or close to it, all of them are saboteurs. (I got ramble-y, so readmore time!)
Eisza and Xander are both Hunters, and it’s not really affecting them much. They didn’t have a strong affiliation with either faction prior(Eisza frankly was getting annoyed at every time an Imperial/Sith acted like she was loyal to them just bc she worked with them). Eisza’s loyalty is to herself and the people she cares about first and everyone else second, so since she’s romancing Theron going Pub was an easy choice for her, lol. Xander I think it stemmed from his annoyance that Acina went behind his back about Iokath and since working with the Republic went so well he just made it permanent(also the only Sith he’s ever met who seemed rational is the one he married Lana SO).
Sha’reii and Tragen are both Sith-by-circumstance who may as well be Jedi(Light V woooooooo), but have been disguising their true natures basically their whole lives. They’re sort of... resigned to it always being the case(Tragen’s not handling it as well as Sha’reii; he’s getting tired of pretending, too, just not as bad as Jaaide), and just do what they can to minimize casualties and help the Republic much as they can without blowing their cover, holding on to that hope there will be an end.
Jaaide... it’s more being tired of pretending she’s a Loyal Imperial Citizen when the entire Empire turns her stomach not that she’s seen the true nature. She’s tired of lying, tired of killing people she wants so badly to help, tired of everything. She joined Intelligence as a shiny, freshly minted patriot and spent the entire class story having the shine ground off. She felt betrayed and disillusioned after everything in act 2, and honestly if she could’ve jumped ship there and gone with Kothe she would’ve. But she had to go back and Pretend it was all fine and Yes Sir I can deal with this and smile like she hadn’t been used and betrayed by the very institution she was trying to protect. For being too good at her job, no less. She only stuck around to deal with the Star Cabal and then when she tried to defect at the end Kothe told to go back and shore up her contacts and he’d be in touch and she wanted to scream No I’m DONE take me with you but she didn’t bc something something more useful inside. The Alliance felt like an escape, for a while, but of course all good things come to an end. She desperately wants to openly support the Republic, but has been shoved right back into playacting the Good Little Imperial Spy. She’s a double agent, again, for the third time in her life, and this time there’s no end in sight and she’s killing the people she wants to help, and she can’t let anyone know except Theron and Lana and when she slips up bc of all the Pressure he still yells at her for not doing enough(:))))) ) and it’s too much and she wants out.
So yeah, she’s not handling it well, on the verge of a breakdown, but that’s more character flavor from me developing her than anything in the game(She’s been a double agent off and one for almost two decades, she is so unbelievably tired). She’s not even one of my canon Outlanders to spare her from this; I think she’d fit in Tragen’s universe as an Intelligence asset so she still meets/works with Theron, their romance just gets a later start.
There have been some cool moments for a saboteur(like recruiting Wo Kasta for the Republic on Manaan), but there hasn’t been a big enough payoff or hint of light at the end of the tunnel for her, so it’s just very OOOF whenever I play her through story stuff. OH. and if you ever play an Imp saboteur, take the LS dialogue rather than the saboteur one at the beginning of the MEridian Complex flashpoint :))) Learned that one the hard way.(least I got fic out of it?)
#queen in space#jaaide arien#there's been more than one mission that ended with theron holding her as she cried :))))#she's not okay#but pretending she is!

Went with maintaining comm silence. Like Shae, Eisza knows they can handle themselves(even if it’s minus Torian), and she’s pragmatic to not wanna risk the mission in that case.
And fortunately, Ras and Akaavi being Mandalorians, there were no hard feelings about “pssh, I knew you could handle it” as a justification
Running Eisza through Ruhnuk and torn whether or not she’d break comm silence to warn Rass and Akaavi.

@swtorpadawan tagged me both this Sunday and last, I’m just always slow getting to these, thus, Six Sentence Wednesday. 😅 On the plus side, it means you get twelve sentences instead of six.
It was Eisza’s experience that alcohol was just about the best conversational lubricant in the galaxy, and tonight bore that out. One little drinking contest, after all, wasn’t enough to finish off a group like this. But it was enough to make them chatty.
Aside from Mandalore, who took his leave fairly early to return to some responsibility or other. The rest of them, pleasantly liquored up and nowhere near ready to tap out--not with professional pride on the line--lounged around to swap hunting stories. Eisza couldn’t speak for the rest, but she wasn’t planning to move until someone threw her out or made her a better offer on how to spend her night. She was very comfortable slouched in her chair, legs resting crossed on the edge of the table in a rough mirror of Jewel’a’s posture.
As the new blood, of course, she had to share first. There was a back part of her mind that wondered if Bloodworthy and Jewel’a were making up these ‘traditions’ to yank her chain or as a hazing ritual. The odds were good. But she could play along. She did love a challenge.
#tagged#my brain needed a break from owap before i write the next trinne pov chunk#so i went ''a prompt fill will be quick'' and eisza laughed at me xD#a side effect of writing her interactions with her fellow hunt champions is--of course--making her feel more connected to them#so it's also the ''ahhhhh this is why you took their deaths WAY MORE PERSONALLY than my other hunters'' moment#fun times

Tucking their hands beneath the other person’s shirt, just to watch them break the kiss and gasp in surprise at the sensation of cold/warm hands on their skin.
But she'd play along. She did love a challenge.
She spun out the hunt for the shadow beast on Dromund Kaas that had been her initiation. Hype was more Mako’s area of expertise, but she could tell a damn hunting story.
When she finished, the others toasted the excellent story, then Bloodworthy told of the final hunt that made him Champion. Jewel’a followed with the saga of her first successful hunt. Eisza told of the Czerka accountant she’d tracked so deep into the Tatooine desert she glimpsed a sarlacc and almost ran out of water. After a few times around, they even persuaded the Defenestrator to share, and while droid storytelling left much to be desired, they were all tipsy enough not to mind.
“So what’s your favorite part of the hunt?” Eisza asked, running her thumb around the rim of her half-empty mug.
“S’easy,” Jewel’a scoffed. “Catchin’ the sleemo. ‘Specially if they think they’re clear before you bag ‘em.”
Shocker, Eisza thought sarcastically before tilting her head at Bloodworthy.
“The solution,” he said, finishing the last dregs of his ale and holding her gaze. “When you know who you’re after, where to find ‘em, and have to figure how to get what you’re after?” A smile played at the corners of his mouth. “Exhilarating. How ‘bout you, new blood?”
She smirked, not breaking the eye contact. “The chase. Locking on to your target, getting closer and closer” --she leaned forward, feet coming down to instead brace an elbow on the table-- “until success is yours.”
“Enjoy a challenge, huh?”
She winked. “Obviously.”
“Alright, new blood, here’s one for you,” Jewel’a said, snapping the cord of heat almost casually. “Botched hunt that bugs you the most?”
An answer immediately came to mind--she still didn’t know how that kubaz got away--but she arched a brow at the other woman before sharing, “I get to hear yours, too?”
“‘Course,” Jewel’a snorted. “Hunter’s honor. But you first. New blood.”
They went around a few more times, on a variety of topics. Eisza vaguely noticed when the Defenestrator left in between trash-talk with Jewel’a and recounting the fastest she ever took down a target.
Another half hour or so had passed when Jewel’a swung her feet down from the table, using the momentum to stand with nary a sway. “Fun as this has been, if I don’t make Sullust by the day after tomorrow, might lose a bounty worth way more than any entertainment from you two. Good show so far, new blood, but I’ll be impressed when it extends beyond drinking. Bloodworthy, see ya around.”
They both gave cursory waves as she left. Eisza pushed to her feet with some reluctance. Probably was time to be going their own ways-
“You like the chase, huh?” Bloodworthy said, and she gladly changed course from the door to circle the table instead.
“Hell, yeah.” She sat back against the edge level with his chair. “Closing in on what I’m after, finding solutions to any obstacles,” she smirked, “‘til I finally get who I’m after?” She caught and held his gaze. “Exhilarating.”
He laughed at her turning his word back on him. “When you put it like that, I see the appeal.”
Eisza grinned in pure challenge. Gonna do anything about it? “You do, huh?”
“Yeah.” He pushed out of the chair, stepped closer. “I do.”
Even as she reached to grab his jacket, he leaned in and kissed her.
Eisza laughed into the kiss, her hands still digging into the jacket, but to hold him close rather than pull him in. There we go.
Bloodworthy’s hands settled on her hips, one shifting to brace against the table a moment later. They went until both needed air and broke the kiss with matching low gasps.
“So, this your solution to the matter at hand?” Eisza asked playfully, not relinquishing her hold on his jacket.
Bloodworthy grinned, crooked and breathless. “Step one, at least.”
“Like the sound of that,” she said, lips curving in a matching grin. prob’ly smart to wait ‘til Jewel’a left.”
“Give my instincts some credit, new blood,” he laughed and leaned in for another kiss. “Good things come for those who wait and all that. B’sides, last thing I need is her heckling me like she does you,” he teased.
Just for that, Eisza slipped her hands under his jacket, pressed flat to his stomach, and laughed when he, as anticipated, flinched away from the heat. Hadn't met a man yet that didn't catch off guard. She used the opening and her leverage to push away from the table into his space.
Bloodworthy laughed around a muttered curse. “You always run this hot?”
“Usually,” she confirmed with a grin. “You can take the girl outta Tatooine...” A half-shrug, hands lingering on the planes of his hips, and she arched a brow. “An’ if you’re gonna stick your tongue down my throat, feels only polite that you use my name.”
He chuckled, hand curving the back edge of her jaw. “Fair point, Eisza.”
She kissed him, greedy and insistent, nudging them toward the door on a route that narrowly missed tripping over his chair.
Bloodworthy hummed an approval of the direction. “Your ship,” he mumbled in between kisses, “or mine?”
Eisza kissed him hard, one hand now clenched up in his hair, before pointing out, “Mine has a drunk slicer an’ nosy conman aboard.”
“Mine it is.”

Having Eisza play with dialogue options is fun; she’s... less soft, more blunt than most of my SWtOR kids, so it doesn’t feel horribly out of character for her to say things like that first one(even if it’s not what I went with in the end). Means I get to see stuff I normally wouldn’t.
#queen in space#eisza merik#i do love that arcann seems almost grateful when you pick dialogues that make it clear you are not just sweeping what he did under the rug

Three Facts- Eisza
Tagged by @cobaltash to do three facts about you/an OC and I’m going with my Bounty Hunter babe Eisza
tagging @starsandskies @emeraldgreaves @yanara126 and anyone else who wants to do this
---
Her ship was named Limping Luck when she stole it, and she liked that so much she kept it, just had Mako slice in to change the ownership records to her name. After Seros started his witch hunt and got her made Republic’s most wanted, she changed the name for both safe travel reasons and as a statement to Short Supply(referring to her patience :)) ).
She grew up on Tatooine, raised by an “aunt and uncle” she’s 99% sure she’s not biologically related to at all, as the only physical feature she has in common with either of them is green eyes like her “aunt”. She was one of 8-10 kids they raised, some definitely adopted, some possibly theirs, who all referred to each other as cousins and didn’t really care if they were “actually” related, they were family and extremely close-knit.
She acquired her pet zakkeg--Spike-- on Rishi, bought him off an exotic animal trader(/cough pirate /cough) who was absolutely not treating him right. He was super young and imprinted on her as Mama, which meant following her everywhere. Her crew took care of him after she went MIA from the Wild Space expedition, with Torian eventually “winning” custody bc Spike liked him best out of the crew. So Eisza got him back(full-grown and mount-sized :3) when she ran the Mandalore’s Revenge chapter of KotFE.

This right here is the main reason Eisza sided with the Republic.
Not for Theron, not bc Acina snuck behind her back to go after the superweapon*, bc she is so sick of every Sith/Imperial leader acting like she’s “one of them”. As a bounty hunter and as a Mandalorian, she worked for herself. Imperial were more likely to hire her, had fewer rules against “her kind”, but they still looked down on her, they treated her as lesser for not being an Imperial citizen. She has never, in her life, hunted “in the name of the Empire” and every time an Imperial bigshot of Sith lord has tried to play the loyalty card it makes her dig in her heels even harder. She is ferociously independent and the Empire has consistently tried to demand unearned loyalty from her and she’s so. kriffing. sick of it.
*Acina can try all she wants to position this as a “we did it for you, too, Commander”, but if that was the case, she would have SAID SOMETHING instead of trying to sneak in behind Eisza’s back. She’s not buying it. The Sith saw a chance for power that would put them on top and went for it bc that’s what Sith DO.
This parting shot did not do Acina any favors, either. :))))
#queen in space#she's my first theronmancer where "i don't wanna make him fight his dad'' didn't even figure into the equation#not even a lil bit#she's just pissed acina's acting like she's an imperial when she ISN'T and NEVER HAS BEEN#this has been a long-standing issue with the sith she's worked with#from tormen through marr and now acina#she's gonna scream when vowrawn continues the pattern and she can't do anything about it XD

Eisza went from Iwouldprefernotto.jpg at “full Imperial authority” to “Your terms are acceptable” at that last sentence. Time to go find a whole lot of freelance work. 😎
#queen in space#the utter exasperation a hunter can show at being considered ''imperial'' is nice#but it's not far enough for eisza's preferred level of independence

Okay, yeah, there’s something up with decorating. :| For Endrali, it didn’t recognize when a rug was down, I put a different rug on the hook, and the Corellian one has vanished. It’s not showing up in my available floor coverings. (Neither are the others I’m p sure she still has; a couple simple merchant and I THINK there should be a luxurious blue/red in there too)
Eisza I went to set up the fabrication droids--which I know I have and the size hook they can go on--and it’s not showing them. It is, in fact, only showing one page of the available decos for that size hook. When I know there should be at least eight pages.
Sooo swapping around decos in Endrali’s stronghold and I think it’s bugged, the game just fricking ate one of her Corellian rugs😒
