A wee nod to the works of J M Barrie and Peter Pan with this lost and found necklace assemblage. At the centre is a broken brooch that I've turned into focal point for this story telling pendant. From the base of the middle leaf is a real acorn that I have electroformed, silver plated and painted in alcohol inks which nestles next to the tiny thimble with the words "For A Good Girl". After Wendy has sewn Peter’s shadow back on she states that she would like to give him a kiss. He holds out his hand and she places a thimble in it. When Peter says he’ll give her a kiss, he drops an acorn into her hand. First night meeting Peter

The first night I met Peter was a strange one. I don’t remember much about the outside, all that is in my memory is everyone here at the Neverland orphanage.

Not sure why they would create an orphanage in this cyber world when we do have parents outside this world that are waiting for us to get better.

As I was saying, that night was like no other. I didn’t even feel fear when I saw the shadow at the window. I like how he tried to be mysterious by saying that he too used to be where I was. I think it was kind of cute that he was trying to gain my trust without telling me the truth.

When he told me that, I blindly believed him, I mean, why not. He then continues to tell me that I could be free by just jumping, which, let me be clear, this is NOT the answer to any of your questions, you NEVER jump out of a window, EVER! - Peter, that was a horrible idea!

Anyway, since I have no recollection of what was real and what not, I believed him and something inside of me wanted to believe him too.

He offered his hand to help me jump - again, please do not give your hand to anyone in your window to jump! *eye roll*.

I went with him. I can tell I was free of something, a something I could not tell. I was able to feel something, unlike in the orphanage, I would feel like a robot, doing the same thing every day. No excitement, no changes.

I knew there was something strange, but I could just not figure it out. I guess, by not going outside the “building” I was being protected by emotions, which I understand could alter the brain.

I am no doctor, but wouldn’t you want to inspire emotion in the brain to help it heal? I don’t know. All of this is very strange, unusual even.

When I jumped, I felt butterflies in my stomach! Something I don’t recall feeling before. It felt so nice! So, liberating! Like I could really breath.

His face was so familiar too, but I could just not put it together. It was a night that I hope I will never forget. If my life depended on that night, I think I would have woken up from the coma.

Don’t ask me what happen, why I ended up in a coma, because I don’t know. I don’t remember nothing from before. It’s like everything that is in my mind now, it was placed there on purpose.

There was so much I wanted to ask, but I didn’t even know where to start. For example, who are you and where did you come from? I mean, you can’t just be a guy that was here and suddenly you are out and now you can fly too?

Nothing; makes sense. I didn’t ask too much. I just enjoyed the ride, what would I ask while I was in awe watching the city at night, flying hundreds of feet in the air!

My mind was blown away by the view, by the experience and by how happy I was while up there. Everything suddenly mattered. Everything suddenly created
