can you do a Ferran the type? please 🥺❤️
Ferran The Type
Summary: A compilation of the type of boyfriend I think Ferran would be ✨️
Warnings: cursing.
A/N: @11fer here's your credits 🤨
He's the type to give you random gifts when he's away during a game, always saying <just because>
"Hey, are you already on your way to uni?" He asks.
"I mean, I'm almost out the door. Why?"
"Oh, nothing." He giggles. "Just wondering."
You frown at his giggles. "Okay, weirdo." You laugh. "How was the flight? Did you eat anything?"
"I shared a sandwich with Pedri."
"Of course you did." You roll your eyes while smiling. There's no day this man wouldn't do anything with his work wife named Pedri. "Was it good?"
"Meh."
You talk with him while you check your bag one last time. You grab your house and car keys. He hears your front door and your car door closing.
"Hey, do me a favor."
"Dime, amor." You say, switching to the car speakers so you can place everything you have in the seat next to you without having to have your phone in hand.
"Check the backseat for me."
"What?" You ask, confused at his request.
You turn, finding the cutest basquet. It has your favorite snack, the lip kit you mentioned you were thinking of buying, a small plushy, and some jewelry goodies.
"Ferran, why?"
He sighs, "Just because." He says.
He's the type to come up with a special sign for a goal celebration.
"If I score, it will be yours." He smiles at you.
You were laying next to him. Talking about what the next game would be like, how he feels and all that.
"I'll hold you to that word." You chuckle.
The silence fell in the room. You are enjoying the peace of just the two of you. While he was thinking about the goal.
When sira and him were together, he did the "s" for her. It was their thing. Not like it was a unique thing. Any footballer that has a girlfriend or partner chose that celebration.
But he didn't want to do the same. First it was basic, not that what he did for sira was basic, but the celebration was... is still.
He thought about doing something else, but how would you know that is meant for you?
"We don't have a celebration." He says, interrupting the silence.
You open your eyes, turning your head to the side. You find his worried eyes.
"We don't have what?"
"A goal celebration for us."
You don't find what the big deal is. He can literally stick his tongue out and you'll he proud either way.
"Well, what about my initial."
"No." He shakes his head. "We need something unique, something ours."
You move your hand to where his cheek is. "Then let's think of one." You say.
You spend the rest of the night preparing your special celebration. He wanted it to be perfect. To be yours truly.
He's possessive so he would give you each kit the team has during the season with his name on the back.
"And this is from the second half against Real Betis." He says, giving you the recently washed jersey.
You look at him and then at the already full drawer of his jerseys. The number of jerseys you have is growing with every game he plays.
You tried to lower the number by donating some of the jerseys to a foundation that used them to get founds.
You obviously told Ferran, who signed the jerseys before giving them back to you.
Then he was injured, so there were no jerseys that needed to be placed in the drawer. No accumulation.
When he got back, it began again. He took the jersey home, washed it and then handed it to you.
And it was the same ritual, he would visit you the night before a game, he would pick a random jersey and then you would use it.
"How do you know it's from that game?" You ask curious. "It looks like any other jersey it's there."
He gives you this excuse of why he would know that the jersey you are now holding is from that specific game.
"I have a Pedri jersey." You say, moving to grab the jersey. "He gave it to me to take to the foundation, and I forgot it here." You explain.
He shakes his head, grabbing the jersey from your hands and throwing it to the small trash can you have in your room.
"Ferran!" You say, getting up and trying to move to save the jersey.
Your actions were interrupted by him pulling you by your hand and making you hit his chest. He then grabs his jersey, moving your arms up and pulling the jersey through your head.
You are confused at everything. "What are you doing?" You ask, moving the hair from your face. "Are you crazy?" You ask, looking at him with a frown.
He grabs your face, kissing your lips. His big hands are locking you in place, one on your waist and the other one in the back of your head.
The air was running low for you. He could go for ages, being a footballer has its benefits.
You push him lightly. He then moves his lips to your cheeks and chin, kissing it sweetly.
"Ferran, stop." You say. "What is going on?" You chuckle.
"You don't need any other player's name on your back." He says, grabbing your chin and making you lock eyes with him. "Only mine." He smiles, pecking your lips.
When he's drunk, specially in the club, at a party. Hes very clingy and is all over you.
"I want one last shot." Ferran says, placing his face on your shoulder. "Maybe vodka."
You can barely understand him. He has the drunk accent that was making you laugh.
"No, amor." You shake your head. "No more shots." You pout.
He pouts too, hugging your waist and moving his head a little more upwards, being able to kiss your neck and jawline.
"The last one." He begs. "Por favor."
You shake your head again, moving your arms to hug him. "You are drunk, baby." You remind him. "Let's take it easy."
He pouts again, burrying his face in your neck. You smile at the very clingy and baby attitude he's putting.
You keep the conversation with your friend, who's smirking at how funny Ferran looks. They all were used to him being like that as soon as he gets to a tipsy state.
It's very well known between friends and family that Ferran needs to always have some type of contact.
Now try to get that to a higher level, and you'll get how he is when he's drunk. He likes to hug you by the waist, he likes to give you neck kisses, he likes to kiss your lips in a sloppy way.
After a good ten minutes of him just hugging you like a baby, he decides to try one more time. "A shot, please." He says, puppy eyes.
You roll your eyes. "Fine, wait for me here." You say, getting out of his hold and getting up.
"Can I go with you?" He asks, whiny voice.
The way his hand is grabbing yours, scared of you walking away from him. It was so sweet yet so funny.
"I'll be only a few feet away, amor." You explain, pointing to the bartender. "Two minutes."
He shakes his head, getting up from his seat and walking with you to the bartender. You ask him to turn and to check if your friend is following.
While he is distracted, you ask for a shot of water. The bartender smiles at you and gives you exactly that.
"Here's your vodka." He says, winking at you with a funny face. "A lemon?"
"Grab your lemon." You say to Ferran.
He does, adding salt. You hand him the shot, and he acted as if it was burning him. "That was good but disgusting."
You thank the bartender, you walk back to your place. He seats first and then he pulled you into his lap.
Your back is sticked to his chest, and his arms are locking you in place. You turn and give him a kiss. It was easy since his head was placed in between your neck.
You can feel the heat that emanates from him. The warmth of his cheek over your skin was comforting.
He trusts you so much. Not only in the relationship but with everything, literally everything.
"So," He says, grabbing your attention as you write something on the computer. "I have something to tell you."
You nod, paying attention to him. You humm so he could continue with his story.
"You remember that I told you about Eric and that girl?" He asks, folding the laundry.
You nod, closing the laptop. You want to know the rest of that uncontinued story. "Yes, what about it?"
"Well, she's back, but turns up she's a" He turned his head to his left and then to the right. "Escort." He whispers
Your eyes open so much. "No!" You say surprised. "How did you find out?"
"He called her to meet again, and when they were done fucking, she tell him that she needs to leave and if he has the money."
You cover your mouth. "That's bananas." You laugh.
"Not only that." He interrupts your laugh.
"Oh my gosh." You sigh. "What else?"
He smirks, finishing with the last t-shirt. "She gave him crabs."
"Tell me this is a joke!" You say, shocked with the information.
"No, Pedri had to threw the towell he was using so nobody would use it once they took it to clean it."
You two keep talking about the subject a little bit more. You even change the subject to what he wants for dinner and that it was his turn to cook.
"Oh, and my mom has a boyfriend." He says, placing the plate of food in front of you.
"Qué?"
He's the type to be always loud and energetic.
"Mi mujer me estaba llamando pero yo no contesté." He sings while he's changing.
You can hear his singing from your office, you shake your head no as you go back to your email.
"Yo tengo un problema de alcohol, yo no sé porqué soy así." He keeps singing as he walks down the hallway. "Amor, I'm leaving." He says.
You lift your eyes from the screen to his. "Adiós, amor." You smile. "Have a nice training, love you." You send him a kiss.
You then go back to the reading as he walks down the stairs. Just when you think the house would be silent and calm you head him yell.
"Be ready at four, I'm taking you out."
You close your eyes, breathing deeply as you think that everybody in the neighborhood heard your plans.
"Amor!" He yells again. "Did you hear me?"
"I think the neighbors heard you as well." You say in an elevated tone.
It was enough for him to hear, but not enough to bother others.
"Vale, adiós." He yells again.
You shake your head. Trying not to laugh at him.
As the day passes and the hour of your date comes, you prepare for it. You change into something more appropriate and wait for him to pick you up.
When he's outside, he lets you know. You find his car and a smily Ferran looking at you.
"You look gorgeous." He says, opening the door for you. "Love you."
"Love you too." You say, giving him a kiss.
The drive consisted of him telling you all about his training session, how he bothered Pedri, and his small gym session.
At the restaurant he ordered for the two of you. Something he sometimes does. It was well appreciated because you don't always know what to order.
"So then we find them together in the janitors closet." You say, telling him a story from your work.
He laughs, but not a normal laugh. He's laughing so hard that even the others turn to see him. Some smiling at how happy he looks and other looking at him with a wtf expression.
"Fer, don't be loud." You say.
"Sorry, it was too fun." He smiles.
Even when he was loud, you knew he was your loud one. So you just accept it.
Like I mentioned before, he's the type to be needy of contact all the time.
It can be your hand wrapping one of his fingers while you go out of somewhere.
It can be him grabbing your belt hoop while you shop around the store.
Your arms sticking together while you two stand up together or his hand on your knee as you are sitting.
Sometimes, when he's sleeping, he will turn around and find you in a peaceful position. He doesn't want to wake you up, so he will place his feet close to yours under the covers. That way, he can go back to sleep without bothering or waking you up.

On The Fifth Day Of Nickmas....
Day 5 of Juno's 12 Days Of Nickmas (posting late!)
Nick had just fallen asleep a few hours before being woken up to start their early day. He spent most of the night thinking about his situation with Jared. He was grumpy and tired. During the three-hour drive to the airport, he couldn't get comfortable enough to try and take a nap. Then, TSA was hell to get through because it was one week before Christmas. Everyone was starting to travel out while they were just trying to get back home. Nick wished they could have Christmas with his parents on the actual day, but they knew it would be less of a headache to do it early. Once they were on the plane seated Nick got comfy and was hoping to try and take a nap. The way the flights worked out meant as soon as they landed he had to go straight to the warehouse to start prepping for the campaign. Jared was sitting next to Matt on this flight.
"Are you coming with us to the ware house?" Matt started conversation.
"I don't know. I assumed not since its business and all." Jared was honest.
"You should come." Matt smiled and rested his head back to get comfy.
"If Nick is fine with it, sure." Jared was fine letting Nick be the deciding factor. It was his campaign, and he was in charge. The rest of the plane ride, Jared sneaked a glance at Nick's profile from a few rows behind. He noticed his jaw was a little sharper than usual. He couldn't help but smile every time he peeked over at his best friend. Once the routine travel experience was over, they found themselves outside at the warehouse.
"I'll see you later." Jared smiled.
"Wait, you aren't coming?" Nick asked, shocked.
"Can I?" Jared further explained his confusion. "I know it's like business stuff. I didn't know if friends were allowed to come."
"Yeah, come on." Nick took his bag from him and walked inside the warehouse's double door. Jared followed him in. Chris and Matt stayed behind in the cab to take the ride home.
"Doesn't look like how I remember it." Jared walked doing a 360 turn.
"Well, yeah. We have to change things for new posts, themes, and also for our solo projects."
"Speaking of, does Matt even have one?" Jared chuckled.
"At this point, probably not." Nick dropped their bags on the floor.
"Nick, are you here?" Someone's voice yelled from up the stairs.
"Yeah." Nick jolted up the stairs. Jared noted how exhausted he indeed looked. "Coming?" He looked down and gave a weakened smile.
"Yeah." Jared followed him up the steps. Once he broke the floor level with his head he saw how tiring their job really could be. There were people moving props around, a few people with a rack of clothes discussing outfit ideas, a lady with a clipboard pointing and directing, and a group of men and women who were getting directed.
"Thank god you are here." She stopped talking to everyone else to focus solely on Nick. "You first outfit change is ready for you. I figured we'd get you dressed and then do the models first. Then you." A fake Christmas tree passed us. "Where are the lights?" She yelled at the men carrying it.
"They haven't arrived yet." One shrugged.
"What?" She seethed and looked at her clipboard.
"Laura, breathe. It'll be fine. It already looked amazing in here." Nick put a hand on her shoulder, and she took a few breaths.
"Who is this?" Her tunnel vision widened, and she saw Jared.
"This is my friend -"
"Jared." She finished cocking her head to the side. "You auditioned for the Pool Club Pack." She bit her pen.
"Yeah, horrible audition but -"
"But I liked it. I liked your aura." She smiled and put out a hand. "I'm Laura, the boy's manager." Jared shook it lightly.
"Thank you."
"Anyways. Nick, outfit." She directed. Nick grabbed Jared's hand, knowing he wouldn't know where to go or what to do without Nick taking charge. Nick was handed some clothes and Jared followed him to the bathroom.
"Do I -"
"Sure." Nick held the door open. He knew Jared would feel too uncomfortable sitting out there with strangers. Jared crammed in the tiny bathroom with him. Nick took off his shirt and Jared saw all of his tattoos. He had seen them before but in this proximity they held a richer black hue than usual. "Can you hold this?" Nick handed Jared his old clothes. He was down to his boxers and socks. Jared nodded, feeling a lump in his throat. Being this close to Nick, with him mainly being exposed, made him feel warm. Nick finished dressing quickly, and when he opened the door, Jared felt the cold air spill into the room, filling his lungs. He licked his lips and tried to forget what Nick's tattooed body looked like in front of him.
"Perfect." Laura's voice boomed loud enough to clear Jared's thoughts. Nick was in a pretty pink polo and some khaki shorts now.
"What do I do?" Jared whispered.
"Just watch." Nick winked, and Jared immediately felt embarrassed. He couldn't help but think Nick had caught him staring in the bathroom.
"This is the candy cane flavor," Laura announced to everyone. "Think spicy and fun." A couple of people laughed. Some cheery Christmas music started up, and Nick walked over to be with the models. He started talking and laughing, all of which looked forced and exhausted. Jared liked the way he looked in pink, but the khakis were a miss. Jared found himself looking through the racks of clothes. He found some white jeans, draped them over his arm, and kept looking. He walked over to a wall with shoes lined up and found some brown loafers. He nodded and carried it back to where he was supposed to be stuck. He noticed Nick was eating and displaying the candy cane cookies he had baked with his family in Chicago. Jared's mouth dropped open a little bit at the surprise.
"What's this?" Nick asked, walking over. Jared looked down at the clothes he was caught holding.
"I don't think the khakis are right. So I just looked around and found this and -"
"Sweet. Thanks." Nick grabbed it without asking any questions and went to the bathroom without Jared. He emerged and looked breathtaking.
"What is this? This isn't the second outfit they -"
"It is now." Nick looked down at himself and back up to Laura.
"Okay." She didn't fight him. He flashed Jared a smile and followed her to a corner with a white backdrop. Jared sighed, realizing his mistake.
"He is going to blend in too much." The photographer said. Jared wanted to fix his mistake, so Nick was in trouble or embarrassed for taking his friend's style idea. His eyes darted all around the room until his eyes settled on a bright red throw blanket. He walked over and grabbed it fast. He approached the three, discussing the outfit issue confidently.
"Try this, Nick?" He handed it to him.
"Jared, this is great." Nick laid the blanket out and sat on it. He pulled out his new unreleased candy cane-flavored lip balm and looked at Laura and the photographer expectantly.
"Okay." The cameraman started taking shots of Nick posing with minimal directions.
"Nice work, Jared." Laura stood back by him as they watched Nick smile and laugh. "He seems more comfortable," she noted. Nick came over after the shots were done.
"Can I do a few with Jared?" Nick puppy dog-eyed Laura.
"No. No. I look so bad." Jared humbly refused.
"Sure." Laura saw all of Nick's exhaustion turn into enthusiasm. Nick grabbed Jared and rushed them over to the clothes.
"You are going to do so good." Nick started looking for something to fit Jared.
"Nick, I'm literally the worst. It's why I didn't get chosen before."
"You have modeling experience, right?" Nick looked at his worried friend.
"So I lied on my application." Jared owned up to his flaw.
"You did what?" Nick busted up laughing.
"I really wanted the gig." He flushed red, exposing himself.
"Okay, well, this is really easy. This isn't like Matt's Prada gigs." Nick rolled his eyes and handed Jared a makeshift outfit based on the color scheme of the next shoot. Jared went and changed, noting that the clothes weren't a perfect fit but unnoticeable.
"We'll have you over here. And Jared can do this." Laura planned to involve Jared. "I know it's not my job to get in your personal lives too much, but as your manager, I do want to say one thing." Laura took her chance to speak to Nick alone.
"Yeah?" Nick braced himself for the lecture that wouldn't mean anything since they were just best friends.
"There is a difference between just friends and best friends, Nick. Just friends don't look at each other the way you look at him. And best friends never stay just friends." She smiled. Before Nick could give his usual speech to her too, Jared emerged. "Wonderful. Remember, just be yourself."
"I'm nervous," Jared whispered to Nick so only he could hear.
"Come here." Nick wrapped an arm around Jared's waist and pulled him in close. Nick's action was meant to make him feel safer, but it only made him feel flustered more. Nick handed Jared his product to model with, and the flashes started popping off. Jared felt a sensation similar to sleeping; he only moved and went with the flow with no control over his body. "Try this." Nick started to apply the balm to Jared's plush lips. Nick looked deeply into the green eyes he never cared for before. This time, he saw the twinkling staring daringly back at him. Jared started pressing the tube to Nick's lips and watched as the pressure slowly pulled his bottom lip to the right. Jared licked his bottom lip slightly from the unexpected tingly sensation the candy cane flavor had to it. His eyes never left Nick's.
"I think we got everything," the photographer announced. The boys both looked around, trying to see who saw their shared moment. The only person Nick caught a glimpse of was Laura, who smirked knowingly.
"You only did one flavor?" Jared leaned against the prop counter.
"We only planned marketing for the candy cane one so far. I'm sure by tomorrow, I'll have an email to go over plans for the gingerbread and hot cocoa flavors." Nick fully applied the test tube to his lips. "Besides, I'm tired. I've spent the last five days traveling. I'd like just to go home and relax with Matt and Chris." Jared wasn't sure if he was just sharing or if that was a subtle hint to wanting some space from him specifically.
"I appreciate you letting me come to your family's Christmas, and thank you for coming along to mine." Jared and Nick grabbed their travel bags.
"You know you are welcome at any time, and I'm glad you invited me. Those candy cane cookies were amazing," Nick gushed.
"I saw they might have made a special appearance in some photos." Nick paused for a second.
"I hope that was okay?" He looked nervous. "I just wanted something to make it not look so staged and fake." They waited for the Lyft.
"Totally fine. I thought it was cute." Jared smiled down at Nick to show him he was being genuine.
"Do you want to hang out tomorrow?" Nick looked up at him. The car pulled up to take him home.
"I can't. I have some work stuff I need to do before Christmas." Jared didn't want to decline, but he knew that since they were back in LA, he needed to try to focus on a few other things.
"That's fine, just text me." Nick got into his car and closed the door. As the car drove off, all he could do was think. He wondered if Jared was thinking as much about that moment in the car as he was? He wanted to know what he was thinking about that moment, but most importantly, he wanted to know what was Jared thinking of him.

Secret Santa
Eddie Munson x Reader
Description: Mrs. O'Donnell's yearly Secret Santa finally went well this year for Eddie Munson
Word Count: 870
------
Each year Mrs. O’Donnell had the idea to have her class take part in secret santa. Whether you liked who you got or not, you had to participate. It was a grade. As for Eddie Munson, someone who didn’t give a single fuck about his grades and shitty classmates, always managed to skip it for the last two years. This year though, he was way too determined to graduate to care about any of that. Plus this year it was different. Y/N was in his class.
The two had never actually spoken to each other, but they would always steal glances at one another. There was something about her that he was so drawn to. That’s why he was secretly hoping he would get to be her secret santa. He’d finally get a reason to talk to her.
But alas, luck is never on Eddie’s side. He reached into the Santa hat that had the class names inside and pulled out Tina’s name. ‘Great.’ He thought to himself. He watched as the hat got around to Y/N as she went to pull out a name. He didn’t see the name, but he most definitely did see how she didn’t look his way. ‘There goes my chances.’
—
The day of secret santa Eddie walks into class holding a little gift bag with some candy. No way was he actually going to try getting a genuine gift for these assholes. He sat in his seat as the class started to pile in.
“Alright class, now that everyone is here you may all hand out your gifts.” Mrs. O’Donnell says, wearing that stupid cursed santa hat.
The whole class starts moving around and Eddie makes his way over to Tina’s desk. He places the bag down without a word, knowing she wouldn’t want to speak to him anyway. Eddie makes his way back to his seat and slouches down into it. He knew nobody would actually care to give the freak a gift, so he reaches into his bag to pull out his notebook full of campaign ideas, deciding to work on that instead.
From the corner of his eyes he can see the chair beside him being pulled out. To his surprise, it’s Y/N.
“No way you actually got Tina a gift.” She smirks and sits down.
“Nah, just some candy. Didn't even try.” Eddie says calmly, even though he is internally screaming right now.
Y/N lets out a small laugh in response and then reaches down to her backpack. “Well, in case you were wondering why I’m here, I am in fact your secret santa.” she says as she pulls out a little gift box and then an even smaller gift box sitting on top.
Eddie is in so much shock he doesn’t even respond and lets her place the gifts on his desk. She doesn’t seem bothered by his silence and instead smiles and says, “I didn’t really have the money for an actual gift, so I made you some stuff instead.”
He reaches forward and grabs the smaller box first. He opens up the top to reveal a bracelet made out of guitar strings with some added charms of a skull and spider. “No way. This is so cool!” Eddie says through excitement, nearly jumping out his seat. Some students looked over at his mini outburst, but he couldn’t give a single shit right now. “I thought you might like that.” Y/N says with a grin, happy to see him enjoying his first gift.
“How’d you know I play guitar?”
“Well, it wasn’t hard to guess," she says as she looks him up and down, "but I did see you at the music store in the mall a few weeks ago buying some new guitar picks. That’s what gave me the idea for your next gift.”
Eddie had almost forgotten that there was another gift box sitting in front of him. He slips the bracelet onto his wrist and then reaches to open the other gift box. This time, he was truly at a loss for words. He reached into the box and picked up a little mini bouquet made out of wires for stems and guitar picks as the petals.
“Do you like it?”
Eddie looks up almost in disbelief, “Do I like it? What kind of question is that? Y/N, this is insane!” He twirls the three flowers in his fingers to inspect them even more. Dark red and blue picks held together by hot glue, and even had some green picks as leaves.
He looks back up at Y/N, trying to contain his smile, and says, “I have to get you something now. These are way too good for me to not get you anything in return.”
“Eddie, it's fine. It’s a part of the game, you don’t need to get me anything.” Y/N replies, also trying to contain a smile.
“No, that’s so unfair! C’mon, just one gift. I’ll even let you pick. It can be anything, well, almost anything. I’m on a tight budget here, but you get my point.”
“Anything?”
“Anything.”
“How about a date?”
Up until this moment Eddie had never given a damn about Mrs. O'Donnells, but holy shit was he sure thankful for her right now.
"A date it is."

the town was as calm as ever, the streets bathed in the soft, golden glow of a sunset that seemed to stretch on forever. the fading light brushed the buildings with a warm, almost nostalgic hue, casting long shadows that whispered of days gone by. it was one of those places where time didn’t hurry. you could almost feel the hours stretching out like elastic, letting the moments linger and settle into your bones.
people moved through the streets slowly, as if they had all the time in the world, some with their heads down, lost in their thoughts, others with eyes up, catching the last rays of the day.
the air was still, but it carried the faint scent of fresh grass and distant wood smoke. a few birds called out from the trees lining the streets, the kind of birds that didn’t seem to mind the quiet, the kind that you could almost hear thinking. the small shops, with their cozy little displays, looked like they could have been frozen in time—hand-painted signs swaying gently in the breeze, windows fogging up as the night began to cool. you could hear the distant chatter of a couple walking home, their voices blending into the soft rustling of the leaves.
even the cars, few as they were, rolled down the narrow streets at a leisurely pace, their tires humming softly on the asphalt. there was no rush, no hurry here. it was one of those rare places where people stopped to chat at the corner, where you could hear the laughter of children spilling from an open window, where everyone seemed to know everyone else, even if they didn't.
everything moved in its own rhythm here, the world spinning a little slower, like the way a good song seems to linger long after it’s finished. it wasn’t that there was nothing to do; it was more like there was no need to rush toward anything. life just seemed to breathe at its own pace, savoring the small moments, the everyday details that most people would overlook. and in this quiet, peaceful town, those little moments mattered the most.
she liked it that way. she appreciated the quiet, the simplicity of it all. it gave her space to think, to breathe, and to write.
that evening, the notebook in her bag felt heavier than usual. she was late to her usual spot—an old wooden bench with a matching table under a canopy of trees at the edge of the town’s recreational grounds. it wasn’t much, just a small patch of greenery with an equally small baseball field. the bench faced away from the field, toward the trees and the town beyond, but she had always been drawn to the way it felt tucked away, like her own secret place.
by the time she arrived, the sky had begun its shift to dusky purples and soft blues. she slowed her steps when you saw someone in the field. it was rare for anyone to be here at this hour.
a supposed guy stood near the netted boundary of the baseball field, his posture relaxed but focused as the fading light of the day cast long shadows across the grass. his black hair, slightly messy and fluffy, curled around his forehead in soft waves, contrasting with the sleek black cap pulled low over his eyes, hiding much of his expression. though not particularly tall or imposing, there was something effortlessly attractive about him—something that drew the eye without trying.
his left hand was occupied with a well-worn black glove, snug against his fingers, the leather creaking softly as he shifted his grip. he tossed the baseball into the air, its white surface catching the last of the sunlight before it descended, spinning in his palm with a fluid grace. with a practiced snap, he caught it again, the sound of the leather cracking as it hit the glove.
his movements were calm but precise, like someone lost in the rhythm of repetition, tossing the ball once more into the air. this time, with a slight tilt of his head, he threw it toward an imaginary target. it sailed through the air, its flight perfect, before hitting the ground with a faint, echoing thud. yet, even as he went through the motions, his gaze drifted, as though his mind was miles away, distracted by thoughts that had little to do with the game.
she hesitated. she hadn’t expected company.
she moved toward the bench anyway, settling into the usual spot. the boy hadn’t noticed her yet—or if he had, he just didn’t show it. his focus was absolute, each throw measured and deliberate. she pulled out her notebook but found herself glancing at him more instead of writing.
he moved like someone used to just.. being. there was something almost distant in his movements, a depth she couldn’t quite place. she tried not to stare, but the way he kept practicing, as though he was trying to lose himself in the rhythm, held her attention.
finally, she gave in to the curiosity, like always. she set the notebook aside, picked up the novel she'd been reading, and flipped it open. but even as she read, her gaze kept drifting back to him.
the boy threw another pitch. the ball ricocheted off the fence with a dull thud.
"do you always practice alone?"
her hesitant yet curious voice cut through the quiet like a feather brushing the air.
the boy froze mid-motion, his arm still raised from the throw. slowly, he turned toward her. his cap shadowed most of his face, but she could see his brows furrowed in confusion. he didn’t seem angry, just surprised—like he wasn’t used to being spoken to, let alone noticed.
"usually," he replied after a moment. his voice was quiet, slightly rough around the edges but not unkind.
she smiled faintly. "it must be peaceful," she said, voice as soft as the breeze that rustled through the trees. "just you and the field."
the boy tilted his head slightly, studying her. for a long moment, he didn’t respond.
"sometimes," he said finally, his tone nonchalant. he adjusted the brim of his cap and turned back to the field, tossing the baseball into his glove.
she watched him in silence, her curiosity growing. there was something about him—something quiet but heavy, like he was carrying more than he wanted to share.
"you’re.. good, at it," she spoke again after a while.
he paused, glancing over his shoulder at her figure. "at what?"
"pitching," she replied simply.
this time, he didn’t look away so quickly. his eyes lingered on her, studying her with a hint of skepticism, as if trying to figure out if she meant it.
"it’s just practice," he said, finally breaking the silence.
"practice makes perfect," she said lightly.
his lips twitched, almost like he wanted to smile but didn’t quite manage it. instead, he shrugged and turned back to his routine.
she picked up her book again but kept sneaking glances at him. she didn’t know his name, didn’t know why he was here or what kept him coming back to this empty field, but something told her, that she would see him again.
and that thought—unexpected and soft—made her chest feel a little lighter.
the evening deepened, the world around them growing quieter, the coolness of the night settling over the ground. y/n had returned to her novel, but her eyes followed the boy more often than her fingers turned the pages. she wasn’t sure why she stayed so focused on him, why his presence intrigued her so much. maybe it was the rhythm of his movements or the way he seemed so lost in his own world.
the boy threw the ball again, a sharp and clean arc that hit the fence with a satisfying thud. he stood still for a moment, watching the ball bounce weakly and roll to a stop on the grass. then he went to retrieve it, his footsteps slow and heavy.
when he straightened and turned back toward the center of the field, yani spoke again.
"why here?"
he stopped mid-step, his body slightly stiff as he glanced at her. "what do you mean?"
she closed her book, setting it carefully on the table. her voice remained soft, as though afraid to disturb the peace of the moment. "i mean, why do you practice here? the town doesn’t even have a real baseball team, right?"
the boy’s brows furrowed, and his grip on the ball tightened. "it’s quiet," he said after a pause.
“and well.. this is probably the only maintained baseball field here.”
“a-ah, right. guess i didn’t think of that.” she awkwardly smiled.
she tilted her head slightly, curious about the underlying weight in his tone. "still, quiet can be nice," she agreed. "but do you want it to be quiet?"
he didn’t answer right away. instead, he looked down at the ball in his hand, turning it over slowly. then, almost too softly for her to hear, he murmured, "it’s better that way."
the words hung between them, laced with something she couldn’t quite name—resignation, maybe, or exhaustion. she studied him for a moment, her gaze lingering on the lines of his face, the way his shoulders seemed to carry the world.
"do you like it?" she asked, her voice gentle.
he looked up at her, his expression unreadable. "what?"
"baseball," she clarified. "do you like playing it?"
his lips parted as if to answer immediately, but he stopped himself. he glanced back at the field, his gaze distant. "i used to," he said finally.
she frowned slightly. "used to?"
he shrugged, the motion heavy. "i don’t know. i guess i still do." he hesitated, as though debating whether to say more. "it’s… complicated."
she didn’t push. instead, she rested her chin on her hand, watching him with quiet curiosity. "it must mean something to you if you’re here every day," she said after a moment.
his head snapped toward her, his expression sharp for the first time. "how do you know i’m here every day?"
y/n blinked, startled by the sudden edge in his tone. "i don’t," she admitted quickly. "i’ve never been here this late before. i just assumed…"
the boy stared at her for a moment, his gaze narrowing slightly as if trying to gauge her sincerity. then, with a soft exhale, he looked away. "sorry," he muttered.
"it’s okay," she said, her tone even softer than before.
for a while, neither of them spoke. the boy resumed his practice, and the girl opened her book again, though her mind wandered.
when he finally broke the silence, his voice was quieter, almost hesitant. "why are you here?"
"here?"
"yeah," he said, gesturing vaguely toward her bench. "at this time. you said you don’t usually come this late."
she smiled faintly. "i lost track of time," she admitted. "i was at uni, writing, and didn’t realize how late it was until i looked outside."
"you write?" he asked, his tone more curious now.
she nodded. "mostly in my notebook. nothing fancy. just thoughts, sometimes stories."
he tilted his head slightly, as if considering her answer. "why here, though?"
"it’s peaceful,"
his gaze flickered to her for a moment before he turned back to the field. "yeah," he said quietly. "it is."
the minutes stretched on, the silence between them no longer uncomfortable. she found herself stealing glances at him again, wondering about the story behind his tired eyes and quiet demeanor.
eventually, the boy pulled off his glove and tucked it under his arm. he picked up the baseball and walked toward the bench, stopping a few feet away.
"i’m seungmin," he said, his voice low but steady.
she looked up at him, surprised but pleased by the introduction. "y/n," she replied, her tone warm. "well, actually, y/f/n. but everyone just calls me y/n."
seungmin’s brows lifted slightly. "y/f/n?" he repeated, the unfamiliar name rolling off his tongue awkwardly but not unkindly.
she nodded, a faint blush creeping up her cheeks. "it’s… a little hard to pronounce."
he didn’t say anything for a moment, just looked at her with a quiet intensity. then, unexpectedly, he said, "it’s nice."
she blinked, her blush deepening. "thank you."
seungmin nodded once, then glanced at the sky. "i should go," he said, his tone reluctant.
"okay," she said, her voice soft.
he hesitated for a moment before turning to leave, his footsteps slow and deliberate.
she watched him go, her chest feeling oddly warm. she had a feeling this wouldn’t be the last time they spoke. and for the first time in a while, she found herself looking forward to tomorrow.
the night deepened as she finally packed up her things. the notebook went into her bag first, followed by her novel. she cast a quick glance at the baseball field. it was empty now; seungmin had left without another word after their brief exchange.
she slung her bag over her shoulder and began walking down the narrow path that led out of the recreational grounds. the cool air brushed against her skin, carrying with it the faint scent of pine and earth. she didn’t feel like going home just yet, even though it was late. there was something about the stillness of the town at night that made her want to wander.
the streets were quiet yet full of a few people here and there, as they always were after dark. a handful of lights flickered in the windows of small shops, and the occasional sound of a distant dog barking broke the silence. the old cobblestone streets felt comforting beneath her feet, and the familiar, worn-down charm of the town enveloped her like a warm embrace.
she passed by the tiny bookstore she frequented, its lights dimmed for the evening. she slowed, peering through the glass at the rows of books stacked neatly on wooden shelves. it was one of her favorite places, but tonight, she didn’t feel like going in.
instead, she walked further into the heart of the town, where the smell of roasted chestnuts lingered in the air from a street vendor’s cart that had long since closed. her thoughts drifted back to seungmin—the quiet boy with the tired eyes.
he had been so distant, so closed off, and yet… there was something about him that made her curious. she found herself wondering if he’d return to the field tomorrow, or if tonight had been some sort of exception.
eventually, her wandering brought her back to the residential streets. the houses here were modest but cozy, with little gardens that overflowed with wildflowers in the summer. she stopped in front of one of the smaller homes—a single-story house with a tiled roof and a little swing in the front yard.
the warm glow of light spilled out from the windows, and she could see the silhouettes of her grandparents moving inside. y/n smiled to herself as she stepped through the front gate.
“y/n, you’re late!” her grandmother’s voice called out the moment she opened the door.
“i know, sorry, gramma,” she said with a sheepish grin, slipping off her shoes. “i lost track of time.”
her grandmother appeared in the doorway to the kitchen, wiping her hands on a dish towel. she was a petite woman with kind eyes that crinkled at the corners when she smiled. “you shouldn’t be wandering around alone at night,” she scolded gently, though her tone was more worried than angry.
“let the girl breathe,” her grandfather said from the living room. he was seated in his favorite chair, a book resting open on his lap. “she’s young. young people like to roam.”
“i know that, but—” her grandmother shot him a look before turning back to their granddaughter. “it’s not safe.”
“it’s our town, grandma,” she said softly, setting her bag down by the door. “nothing ever happens here.”
“that doesn’t mean you should be careless,” her grandmother replied, though the worry in her voice had softened.
her grandfather chuckled, closing his book. “your grandma forgets that she used to sneak out of her parents’ house to meet me when we were young. remember that?”
her grandmother’s face flushed a faint pink, and she swatted at him with the dish towel. “that’s different!”
she laughed, the sound light and melodic. she loved moments like this, when her grandparents bantered like a young couple. they’d been married for over fifty years, and yet they still looked at each other with the same kind of warmth and affection that she imagined only existed in movies.
“are you hungry, dear?” her grandmother asked, turning her attention back to her. “i saved some stew for you.”
“starving,” she admitted, her stomach growling faintly as if to emphasize her point.
her grandmother smiled, motioning for her to sit at the kitchen table. “i’ll heat it up for you.”
as she sat down, her grandfather joined her, pulling out the chair across from her. “so,” he said, folding his hands on the table. “what were you doing out so late? writing again?”
she nodded, pulling her notebook out of her bag and setting it on the table. “and reading. i went to the grounds like always, but i stayed a little longer tonight.”
her grandmother set a steaming bowl of soup in front of her and raised a brow. “why longer?”
“there was.. someone else there,” she said casually, picking up her spoon.
her grandfather’s brow lifted. “someone else? that doesn’t happen often.”
“exactly what i thought,,” she agreed, stirring her soup. “he was practicing baseball. i think his name was.. seungmin..?”
her grandmother hummed thoughtfully as she sat down beside them. “is he a friend of yours?”
“not really. i just talked to him a bit.”
her grandfather leaned back in his chair, a small smile playing on his lips. “well, if he’s practicing baseball alone, he must be dedicated. or stubborn.”
“yeah,” she chuckled softly, “he was good at pitching, though, even if it was all alone. though.. there was something about him– he seemed a bit distant,”
“maybe he was lonely?”
“maybe..? but i don't think he wanted.. company. at least he didn't seem like it.”
she glanced at her grandparents, at the way her grandfather’s hand rested over her grandmother’s on the table, their fingers lightly intertwined.
“do you think.. distant people want to be left alone?” she asked quietly.
her grandmother tilted her head, studying her with a thoughtful expression. “sometimes,” she said. “but not always. sometimes, they just don’t know how to ask for company.”
her grandfather nodded. “or they’re afraid of being hurt.”
her chest tightened slightly at their words. she thought of seungmin again, of his quiet replies and the way he’d said, it’s better that way.
“do you think he’ll come back?” she asked softly, more to herself than to her grandparents.
her grandmother smiled. “if he does, maybe you’ll be the company he doesn’t know he needs.”
she looked down at her soup, her mind drifting back to the empty baseball field. she didn’t know why she cared so much about a boy she’d just met, but a part of her hoped her grandmother was right.
and maybe, she’d have another chance to talk to him tomorrow.
the school courtyard was buzzing with the usual morning chatter—students gathered in clusters, discussing assignments, weekend plans, and the latest town gossip. y/n preferred to stay out of the bustle, so she slipped through the gates quietly, her guitar case slung over her shoulder.
her steps were light and deliberate as she made her way to the benches near the main building. it was her usual spot, tucked under the shade of a large tree where the morning light filtered through the leaves, creating dappled patterns on the ground.
she set her guitar case down carefully, adjusted her bag, and took out a small notebook. it was her sanctuary before the day’s classes began—a moment to gather her thoughts and jot down melodies or ideas.
“still writing your ideas away, y/nnie?”
the deep voice startled her, though it carried a warmth she recognized instantly. she looked up to see felix standing nearby, his hands tucked into the pockets of his blazer. his light blond hair fell slightly into his eyes, and a small smile played on his lips.
“maybe.. it's called sudden inspiration,” y/n replied softly, chuckling back.
felix chuckled, his voice low and soothing. “blah blah, same thing?” he dropped his bag onto the bench and sat beside her, leaning back with an air of easy calm. “so, what’s the plan for today? more serenading the trees with your guitar?”
y/n laughed, shaking her head. “not today. i’ve got a quiz later, and i promised myself i’d focus on studying.”
felix raised an eyebrow, his expression teasing. “you? worrying about a quiz? you’re probably already over-prepared.”
“maybe,” she admitted, her voice soft but carrying a hint of amusement. “but it’s better than being under-prepared.”
“fair point,” he conceded, glancing at her notebook. “what’s that? a new song?”
y/n hesitated for a moment before nodding. “just some scribbling. i don’t know if it’ll turn into anything yet.”
felix tilted his head, genuinely curious. “can i hear it sometime?”
“maybe,” she said, her tone playful. “if i ever finish it.”
felix smiled, leaning back against the bench. the two of them fell into a comfortable silence, the kind that didn’t need to be filled with unnecessary words. y/n appreciated that about felix—he didn’t push her to talk more than she wanted to, and his calm demeanor matched her own.
the warning bell rang, breaking the stillness.
“guess it’s time to face the day,” felix said, standing and slinging his bag over one shoulder.
y/n nodded, gathering her things. “see you at lunch?”
“of course,” he replied, giving her a small wave as he headed toward his classroom.
y/n watched him go for a moment before making her way to her own class. the halls were already filling with students, but she kept her head down, focusing on the soft melody still playing in her mind.
as she entered the classroom and took her seat by the window, she felt a sense of calm settle over her. the morning had been kind to her so far, and she was determined to carry that peace with her through the rest of the day.
after school, y/n packed her things and left the classroom with a light heart. the day had gone smoothly—no unexpected quizzes, no overwhelming assignments. she wasn’t one to feel bogged down by studies anyway; she took things in stride, balancing her love for learning with the simple joys of life.
her classmates were still lingering in the halls, some chatting in groups, others heading to cram school or their part-time jobs. y/n, however, had a different destination in mind. she slung her bag over her shoulder, her guitar case in hand, and stepped into the soft afternoon sun.
the streets were quiet as usual, the warm light casting long shadows on the cobblestones. y/n hummed softly to herself as she walked, her mind already drifting to the peace she always found at the field. she loved how the small town seemed to pause during this time of day, giving her a moment to feel completely at ease.
when she reached the recreational grounds, her gaze immediately swept toward the baseball field. it was empty, just as she had expected. the chain-link fence glinted in the sunlight, and the grass inside looked lush and green, untouched since yesterday.
she let out a soft sigh of relief.
placing her guitar case down at her usual bench by the trees, y/n settled in and opened her notebook. she had planned to study a little—reviewing notes for an upcoming essay—but the quiet of the field had a way of pulling her toward more creative pursuits.
instead of her school notes, she found herself flipping to a blank page, her pen poised over the paper as she searched for the melody she had been humming earlier. she tapped the pen lightly against her chin, letting the rhythm of the breeze and the rustling of the leaves guide her thoughts.
the minutes ticked by, and she found herself smiling faintly, not from anything in particular but from the simple pleasure of the moment. here, with the sunlight filtering through the trees and the town’s quiet hum in the background, everything felt just right.
after scribbling down a few lines of lyrics, she glanced toward the field again. she wondered, briefly, if the boy from yesterday would return. seungmin, she remembered. he had been so quiet, so distant, but there had been something about him that lingered in her mind.
shaking her head, she focused back on her notebook. it didn’t matter if he showed up or not. this was her time, her place, and she was perfectly content to spend it alone.
for now, the field was hers, and she intended to make the most of it.
as she continued her thing, the faint sound of footsteps on the gravel path caught her attention. curious, she glanced toward the baseball field, and her gaze landed on a figure she recognized immediately.
seungmin.
he wasn’t wearing his cap today, and his hair caught the sunlight as he walked toward the field, his usual baseball glove in one hand and a ball in the other. he moved with a quiet confidence, his posture relaxed but purposeful.
y/n blinked, momentarily surprised. he wasn’t usually here at this hour. she debated for a moment whether to say anything or let him pass unnoticed. but then, she thought about how reserved he had been the day before and decided to break the silence.
“came early today?”
her soft voice carried across the space, and seungmin’s steps slowed. he turned his head slightly, his dark eyes meeting hers with a flicker of recognition.
for a moment, he seemed caught off guard, but then he nodded, his expression neutral. “yeah.”
y/n tilted her head, her curiosity getting the better of her. “why?”
seungmin shrugged, looking away as he tossed the baseball lightly into the air and caught it. “no reason.”
she studied him for a moment, noting the way he avoided meeting her gaze. there was something almost… guarded about him. “it’s nice to have company,” she said lightly, hoping to make him feel less self-conscious.
seungmin glanced at her briefly before walking to the field. “don’t mind me. just doing my thing.”
y/n chuckled softly and turned back to her notebook, her pen tapping gently against the page. she couldn’t help but keep an eye on him, though. he moved with precision, practicing throws toward an imaginary batter. his form was sharp, his focus unwavering, and it was clear he wasn’t just idly passing the time.
after a while, she spoke again, her voice cutting gently through the quiet. “are you preparing for something? a tournament?”
the question made him freeze mid-throw. his posture stiffened slightly, and he stood still for a moment before lowering the ball.
“no,” he said, his tone flat. “it’s just a hobby. a way to pass the time.”
y/n frowned slightly, sensing the subtle shift in his mood. the energy around him seemed to dull, his earlier ease replaced by something heavier. she wanted to ask more but thought better of it.
instead, she offered a soft smile. “you’re really good for it to be just a hobby.”
he turned to look at her, his expression unreadable. “thanks,” he said simply, his voice quieter than before. then, as if to change the subject, he added, “what about you? always writing in that notebook?”
y/n’s smile widened slightly at the question. “most of the time,” she admitted. “it helps me clear my head.”
“what do you write?” he asked, his tone casual but with a trace of curiosity.
“songs,” she said, her voice soft but sure. “sometimes poems. whatever comes to mind.”
seungmin nodded, tossing the ball gently into the air again. “that’s… cool.”
they fell into a comfortable silence after that, with y/n returning to her notebook and seungmin continuing his throws. despite his earlier reticence, he didn’t seem as distant now.
around 3:30, y/n noticed a few figures approaching the field. she tilted her head, watching as a group of boys made their way toward seungmin.
“hey, cap!” one of them called, grinning as he waved.
seungmin turned, his demeanor shifting slightly. he gave a brief nod of acknowledgment and tossed the ball toward the boy, who caught it with ease.
y/n blinked, caught off guard. cap?
the group of boys—about six or seven of them—seemed at ease with seungmin, chatting and laughing as they warmed up on the field. y/n watched quietly, realizing this was a side of him she hadn’t seen before.
“you have a team?” she asked, unable to hide her surprise.
seungmin glanced at her, his expression unreadable again. “yeah. we play here in the evenings.”
“oh,” y/n said, her tone soft. “i didn’t know.”
“you’re gone by then,” he pointed out, his voice matter-of-fact.
she nodded, her gaze drifting back to the group as they continued their playful banter. they seemed close, their energy lively but grounded.
“well,” she said after a moment, closing her notebook and standing. “i guess i’ll leave you to it.”
seungmin’s brows furrowed slightly, though he said nothing.
y/n slung her bag over her shoulder and picked up her guitar case. before leaving, she offered him a gentle smile. “see you around, seungmin.”
he nodded, his gaze following her briefly before returning to his team.
as she walked away, she couldn’t help but feel a new curiosity about the quiet, guarded boy who seemed to carry more than he let on.
y/n adjusted her guitar case, deciding she wasn’t quite ready to go home. she checked her phone, seeing a message from felix confirming their usual plan to meet at the café. a smile crept onto her lips as she quickened her pace, the familiar path to the cozy little spot etched into her mind.
the café sat tucked into a quiet corner of town, its faded brick façade and wide glass windows giving it a rustic charm. y/n stepped inside, the scent of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the faint aroma of baked goods welcoming her.
felix was already there, seated near the window with a cup of tea in front of him. he glanced up as the bell above the door chimed, and his calm expression softened into a small smile.
“right on time,” he said, his deep voice carrying a note of teasing.
“i’m always on time,” y/n replied, her tone light as she slid into the chair across from him. she set her guitar case beside the table and leaned back, letting the café’s warm atmosphere envelop her.
felix raised an eyebrow. “is that what you tell yourself when you’re five minutes late?”
“okay, once. that happened once.”
felix chuckled and sipped his tea. “how was the field today? same as always?”
she hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “pretty much. though… there’s this guy who’s always there. seungmin. i didn’t expect to see him earlier than usual.”
felix tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. “seungmin? the baseball guy?”
“yeah,” y/n said, fiddling with the edge of her notebook. “he’s quiet. keeps to himself. but i found out he has a team. they usually play in the evenings.”
“interesting,” felix murmured. “maybe he’s a future pro in disguise.”
y/n shrugged, though a small smile tugged at her lips. “maybe.”
after finishing their drinks, the two friends decided to roam the town. the streets were alive with their usual charm—small shops lining the cobblestone paths, vendors selling trinkets, and the faint hum of conversations blending with the distant rustle of trees.
eventually, they arrived at their usual street food spot, a tiny stall nestled in a busy corner where the smell of grilled skewers and noodles filled the air.
felix handed over the cash for their order before y/n could protest. “my treat,” he said firmly.
“you always say that,” y/n replied, accepting the steaming skewer of fish cakes he handed her.
“because it’s true,” he said, taking a bite of his own food.
they found a small table nearby and ate while chatting about their day. y/n shared stories about her classes, and felix listened with quiet interest, occasionally offering his own dry, witty remarks that made her laugh.
as they finished their food, y/n’s gaze wandered across the street, where a group of boys had gathered around another street food stall. her breath caught for a moment when she recognized seungmin among them.
so it is a small world.
he stood slightly off to the side, holding a skewer in one hand while his friends chatted and laughed around him. though he wasn’t as animated as the others, there was a faint, almost imperceptible smile on his face—a subtle ease in his demeanor that softened his usual guardedness.
y/n couldn’t help but smile internally. there was something oddly endearing about seeing him like this, surrounded by his friends, blending into the lively rhythm of the town.
“earth to y/n?” felix’s voice broke through her thoughts.
she blinked, turning back to him. “sorry, what?”
felix followed her gaze briefly and raised an eyebrow. “someone you know?”
“kind of,” she said, her voice soft. “that’s seungmin. from the field.”
“ah,” felix said, a note of amusement in his tone. “seems like he’s not as much of a loner as you thought.”
y/n smiled faintly, not replying. she watched as seungmin’s friends laughed at something one of them said, their voices carrying over the street. though he didn’t laugh with them, seungmin’s expression wasn’t as distant as usual—he looked… at ease.
for a moment, y/n considered walking over to say hello, but she quickly dismissed the thought. it didn’t feel like the right time.
from her point, she could see him more clearly now than she had at the field. he was at the edge of the group, his hands in his pockets and his expression composed but not cold. while his friends laughed and gestured animatedly, seungmin offered occasional comments, his voice quieter but not entirely detached.
her lips curved into a faint smile. there was something intriguing about the way he carried himself—not quite aloof but not fully immersed in the chaos of his friends either. he seemed comfortable yet separate, as though he existed in a world slightly apart from everyone else.
she watched as the group stopped near a food cart selling roasted sweet potatoes. one of the boys elbowed seungmin, clearly joking about something, and though seungmin didn’t laugh, his lips twitched upward in the briefest of smiles.
y/n’s heart warmed at the sight. it was such a small thing, but it made him seem less distant than he usually appeared.
realizing she’d been staring, y/n quickly looked back at felix, as they walked out of the stall.
the morning sunlight spilled gently into the cozy kitchen, illuminating the worn wooden table where the family gathered. y/n sat cross-legged on one of the chairs, sipping on her cup of hot tea. her hair was pulled back into a lazy braid, still slightly messy from sleep. the kitchen smelled of freshly cooked pancakes, courtesy of her grandma, who was bustling near the stove with her usual cheerful hum.
her grandpa, seated across from y/n with his morning paper, folded it down just enough to peer at her. “so, young lady,” he started, his tone casual but with a glint of mischief in his eyes, “what are your big plans for today?”
y/n shrugged, tearing a small piece of her pancake. “nothing much. probably read, maybe play guitar for a bit. why?”
“well,” he said, setting the paper aside with exaggerated care. “your old man here was thinking… how about we wash the car together? it’s looking mighty sorry out there.”
y/n smirked. “you mean you want me to wash the car while you supervise?”
he gasped, feigning shock. “what kind of slander is this? supervise? me? no, no. it’s teamwork, kiddo. bonding time.”
her grandma chimed in with a snort, flipping another pancake. “bonding time, huh? more like you’ll do half the job and then mysteriously need a break.”
“hey now!” he defended, raising his hands. “who said i wouldn’t pull my weight? besides, i’m offering quality fatherly wisdom while we work. isn’t that worth something?”
y/n laughed, shaking her head. “alright, alright, gramps. i’ll help. i was planning to wash my bike anyway.”
“atta girl,” her grandpa said, leaning back triumphantly. “we’ll get started after breakfast, then.”
-
“finally!” he exclaimed when he saw her. “thought you’d decided to ditch me for a second there.”
“relax, gramps,” y/n said, grinning as she tucked one earphone into her left ear. “i’m here, aren’t i?”
they rolled up their sleeves and got to work. y/n filled a bucket with soapy water while gramps grabbed the hose. mellow acoustic music played softly in her ear, a comforting backdrop to the task at hand.
“so,” gramps started, scrubbing at a particularly stubborn patch of dirt, “what’s the deal with that baseball kid you keep mentioning? seungmin, right?”
y/n paused mid-scrub, narrowing her eyes at him. “why do you keep bringing him up?”
“just curious,” he said innocently, though the teasing grin tugging at his lips betrayed him. “seems like he’s a topic of interest lately.”
“he’s just someone i see at the field sometimes,” y/n replied, focusing a little too intently on the car. “not that interesting.”
“uh-huh,” grandpa said, not convinced. “you should bring him over sometime. i’ll teach him how to really swing a bat.”
y/n laughed. “you don’t even play baseball, gramps!”
“oh, you know too less young lady,” he mumbled with a dismissive wave. “anyway, finish up the roof while i grab something from the shed. your grandma thinks i forgot the wax.”
y/n shook her head as he walked off, muttering under his breath about how many things grandma likes to remind him of.
with grandpa gone, y/n slipped the other earphone in and turned the volume up. the soothing strums of guitar and mellow vocals filled her ears as she focused on scrubbing every inch of the car. she moved methodically, dipping the sponge into the bucket and humming softly to herself. the sunlight caught on the small beads of water dripping from the car, casting tiny rainbows onto the pavement.
she was so absorbed in her task that she didn’t notice the figure walking down the street.
seungmin.
hold on, seungmin?
he’d been heading home after a quick errand, his bag slung lazily over one shoulder, when his gaze fell on her. at first, he thought it was someone else. but as he slowed his pace, he realized it was her.
y/n, standing there in the sunlight, completely immersed in what she was doing. her loose tee shifted slightly with her movements, and her messy bun framed her face in an effortlessly pretty way. the music in her ears left her unaware of his presence, and for a moment, seungmin just stood there, watching.
she looked different from the girl he usually saw at the field—less polished, more relaxed. but it suited her.
he debated for a second, then called out, “came to scrub cars now, huh?”
y/n startled, pulling out one earphone and spinning around. when she saw him, her eyes widened in surprise, her voice squeaking. “seungmin?”
“you missed a spot,” he said, pointing to the car with a faint smirk.
y/n looked at him, then down at the car, and deadpanned. “did you come all the way here just to tell me that?”
“was passing by,” he said with a shrug, though the truth felt far more complicated.
“well, since you’re here,” she said, holding out the sponge with a grin, “care to help?”
seungmin hesitated, his expression torn between amusement and disbelief. “not a chance.”
“figures,” y/n said, rolling her eyes playfully. “you baseball types are all the same. no multitasking skills.”
he raised an eyebrow. “pretty sure scrubbing cars isn’t a skill.”
“then you should try it,” she challenged.
before he could respond, gramps peeked out from the doorway, watching the scene with a grin. “who’s that?” he called, pretending to be oblivious.
“just a passerby, gramps!” y/n yelled back, glancing at seungmin with an amused smile.
gramps disappeared back inside, leaving them to their banter.
“you’re weird,” seungmin said finally, though his tone lacked any real bite.
“thanks,” y/n replied with an awkward laugh. “it’s part of my charm.”
"they won't let me live it down," she whispered exaggeratedly yet subtly, glancing back at the door her grandpa had just walked through, to get inside.
"i see," his gaze followed hers. "well, i'll let you carry on then,"
he shook his head, his smirk softening into something almost fond before he turned to leave. “see you around, car girl.”
y/n watched him walk away, her cheeks warm as she turned back to the car.
y/n stood there for a moment, still holding the sponge in her hand as seungmin disappeared down the street. a small smile tugged at her lips despite herself, her cheeks faintly warm. she shook her head to snap out of it and went back to scrubbing the car, the music in her earphones still playing softly.
just as she was finishing the final rinse, she heard the familiar shuffle of her grandpa’s shoes coming back into the garage. he had the tin of car wax in one hand and a slightly smug expression on his face.
“well, well, well,” he started, drawing out the words as he leaned against the car. “was that the young baseball kid you’ve been talking about?”
y/n groaned immediately, her cheeks heating up again. “gramps, stop. he was just passing by!”
“sure he was,” gramps said, his voice dripping with teasing skepticism. he crossed his arms, eyeing her closely. “funny coincidence, don’t you think? this small town, this exact street, just happening to walk by while you’re here looking like… well, like you do right now.”
“grandpa!” she exclaimed, spinning around to splash a little soapy water in his direction.
“alright, alright!” he said, dodging the splash but grinning from ear to ear. “but you can’t blame me for being curious. he seemed like a decent kid, though he could use a bit more enthusiasm in his voice. not much of a talker, is he?”
“not really,” y/n admitted, sighing as she wrung out the sponge. “but he’s… nice. i think.”
before grandpa could press further, gramma appeared at the doorway, wiping her hands on her apron as she took in the scene. “who’s this you’re talking about?” she asked, her sharp eyes darting between the two of them.
“oh the boy,” gramps said casually, but his grin betrayed him. “the baseball kid y/n’s been bumping into, at the field.”
gramma’s eyebrows shot up. “oh? he’s come to visit now, has he?”
“no!” y/n exclaimed, exasperated. “he was just walking by, and gramps decided to make a whole scene out of it.”
gramma chuckled as she came closer, inspecting y/n’s work on the car. “sounds to me like gramps is just jealous. wasn’t he a baseball boy himself back in the day?”
y/n blinked, turning to look at her grandpa. “wait, what? you were?”
gramps cleared his throat, suddenly looking a bit bashful. “well, i wouldn’t say baseball boy, exactly…”
“don’t let him fool you,” gramma interjected, her voice full of pride. “he was one of the best players in town back in his day. made it all the way to the intertown tournaments. brought home trophies too!”
“trophies?” y/n asked, her jaw dropping. “grandpa, why didn’t you ever tell me this?”
he shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck. “didn’t seem all that important. it was a long time ago, kiddo.”
“not important?” gramma scoffed, smacking his arm lightly. “you still have those trophies sitting in the attic. he was the talk of the town back then.”
y/n stared at her grandpa in amazement. “wow, that’s so cool! why’d you stop?”
gramps hesitated, his usual playful demeanor softening. “life happened,” he said finally, his voice quiet. “family came first. had to make some choices, you know? i met your beautiful grandmother.”
y/n nodded, sensing there was more to the story but not wanting to push. “still, i had no idea you were so good at baseball. that’s… amazing.”
gramps brightened a bit at her words, a small smile tugging at his lips. “well, maybe i’ll teach you a thing or two one of these days. can’t have that baseball kid showing me up if he ever comes around again.”
gramma chuckled, shaking her head. “you two are impossible. now, finish up here before the sun sets. and y/n, don’t let him skip out on the waxing this time.”
“hey!” gramps protested, but he was already reaching for the wax.
as y/n worked on her bike nearby, she couldn’t help but glance toward the street again, wondering if seungmin would pass by a second time. her grandpa’s quiet hum and her gramma’s occasional comments from the kitchen filled the air with a warmth that made her heart feel full.
even as she focused on her tasks, seungmin’s image lingered in her mind—his slightly awkward but oddly endearing presence, the way he smirked just enough to show he was teasing.
she shook her head, smiling to herself. her grandparents were going to have a field day if they caught her thinking about him again.

ahem. You. I have a foxy request— her obsession with her kindle while she’s dating you, perhaps? You don’t want to go paperless, but Foxy keeps trying to convince you to get a kindle. She’ll hide your book and make comments like “but if you had a kindle” and teasingly roll her eyes, but it goes both ways? Maybe R is taller than her, so one day she takes emily’s kindle and holds it over her head and emily tries to get it back and R just keeps gently tapping her head with the kindle before holding it back up. Absolutely no pressure, this just sounded like smth down your alley?
brand deal II e.fox
“em?” you called out hesitantly, frowning as the majority of the lights were switched off in your apartment and you let yourself in. “emily?” you called again, hair pricking up on the back of your neck as you took a few cautious steps forward.
“where is she?” you mumbled with a frown, knowing she was in fact here given she’d called you about five minutes ago as you were pulling into the parking garage to check when you’d be home.
you settled a little as you flicked on the living room lights, hanging your bag up and shrugging off your puffer jacket. “you’re back!” you screamed and almost fell over at the new voice interrupting the thick silence.
“don’t do that!” you scowled at your girlfriend, kicking off your shoes as she made her way closer with a grin. “do what? say hi?” the brunette teased as your facial expression remained unamused.
“why were all the lights off you freak? i called out for you twice!” you defended, making your way into the kitchen to wash your hands.
having caught your neighbours practically pantsless in your buildings elevator the other day you’d made sure to thoroughly wash your hands every time you had to enter it since.
“well it was light outside when i started this chapter, and now…many chapters later, it’s dark.” emily shrugged in explanation as you gave her an odd look.
“you were reading…in the dark?” “yes." "do you have like some superhuman ability to see in the dark that you just never told me about?" "obviously?"
"oh well sorry i didn't realise i was dating a mutant!" you teased with a roll of your eyes, your girlfriend smiling in amusement. "you don't need the lights on to read on a kindle babe." the american revealed the truth as you rolled your eyes again but this time less playfully.
"you know if you had one-" "don't try to brand deal me fox, i know all your little tricks."
"no come on, don't be like that!" emily laughed at your obvious disdain as you moved to start rummaging through the fridge. "like what exactly?" you sighed, tapping your foot trying to magically conjure up what you were going to cook for dinner with your severe lack of groceries.
the two of you were going away for a few days since there wasn't a game this weekend for arsenal and the girls were given some time off, so you'd both put off buying anything which might perish while you were gone.
"like such a negative nelly." "you are so american sometimes its painful." "hey! you were living in the states by your own choice when we met, thank you."
"emily i truly believe that if it was put to you that you had to choose between being with me or never reading on that stupid thing again, you'd choose the kindle." you pivoted back to the original subject making the brunette chuckle.
"and if i said you might be correct?" she grinned teasingly as you pulled your head out of the fridge to shoot her an unimpressed glare in warning.
"joking, i'm joking! just using my delightful sense of humor that helped you fall so in love with me in the first place." your girlfriend smiled charmingly as you hummed and bit back a smile of your own.
"since we have no food, how about i take you and paige to dinner?" emily offered, leaning around you and snagging a half empty bowl of strawberries out of the fridge, pulling herself up to sit on the counter to pick at them.
"me and who?" you closed the fridge and turned to look at her with confusion, untwisting the cap on a bottle of water and taking a sip. "paige." emily echoed as you waited for her to elaborate which she never did, just smiling at you as if nothing was wrong.
"who is paige?" you sighed, sensing you likely weren't going to enjoy her answer as the grin on her face grew.
"my kindle." "you named that thing?" "yes and you'll call her accordingly!" the brunette pointed with a playful glare. "darling i would so sincerely rather stick toothpicks into my eyes than address your kindle as if its a living thing."
"paige, address paige as a living thing." "are you cheating on me with an e-book fox?" "well she doesn't argue with me and nag me about doing my laundry after a game." "emily!" "just joking, joking again! trying to make you laugh since you have the most musical laugh babe." "kiss my ass fox." "who sounds american now?"
~
your rivarly with 'paige' only got worse as time went on, specifically as you both checked into the hotel you'd be staying at over the weekend for your little getaway.
your girlfriend had at least not pulled her kindle out the entire flight, the two of you playing a few very spirited rounds of her favourite card game instead and catching up on a few episodes of community which she had you watching for the first time.
but no sooner had you both gone out for a lovely meal together and a walk around town, retiring to the room for a glass of wine and some downtime, did paige resurface and not in the way you were expecting.
"em did you repack my case?" you questioned, sat on your knees and rifling around with a frown as your girlfriend had already settled herself in bed with her kindle in her lap ready to go.
"yeah you said i could put my big grey coat in if it fit, remember?" your girlfriend reminded as you hummed, eyebrows furrowing as you hunted around for what you wanted but came up empty handed.
"what have you lost baby?" the defender questioned as you unpacked and repacked your case for the second time.
"my books. i packed three of them and i can't find them? and i know they were in here because i was texting with lia about the series last night as i packed." you huffed in annoyance, sitting back and glaring at your now messed up case as if they might make them magically appear.
"oh those? yeah they're at home." the american confirmed, sitting up and fluffing the pillow behind her as your head slowly turned. "they're what?" you asked slowly, unsure if you'd misheard her.
"they're at home." her fingers flew across the screen with a slick click clack as she typed in the password to the kindle, not even looking at you and missing the way your eyes narrowed toward her.
"as in...they're still in london. "well that is where we live." "why are they at home?" "i unpacked them, you didn't need them." "i don't need them?" "nope."
again you waited for her to expand a little, even clearing your throat as she glanced toward you with a smile and going back to her kindle. "emily why wouldn't i need them!" you stood now, moving to stand at the end of the bed with crossed arms and a scowl.
"well if you had a kindle, you could just download whatever books you want and carry an entire library in your bag instead, without the dead weight." "are you trying to market me again? i told you i am not buying one."
"you don't need to." your girlfriend shrugged as you scoffed and threw your hands up in the air. "why? because you could click your fingers and have one magically appear for free?" you jutted your hip out and raised an eyebrow.
"you know you look very hot when you're getting all mad and dramatic." the american grinned, successfully winding you up more. "where are you going?" your girlfriend laughed as you mumbled something under your breath and turned away, sitting down on an armchair to wrestle on some shoes.
"theres a gift shop downstairs and i'm going to buy a book since i don't fancy sitting here staring at the ceiling while you get to read all evening!" you huffed, grunting as you managed to wedge your feet into your trainers without undoing the laces.
"i told you, you don't need a book."
"actually i'm now going to go and find the heaviest book i can and hit you over the head with it!" you threatened, standing and making a beeline for the door, a rustle sounding behind you.
"emily." you groaned as her hand shot out over your shoulder and pushed the door back closed as you opened it. "come here please." the girl snapped the waistband of your pajama shorts and you let out a long and deep sigh before following her.
"here." the defender rummaged around in her own suitcase for a moment before grabbing out a box and shoving it into your hands. "see? no need for any books, you're welcome." she kissed your cheek and wandered back to the bed.
it didn't take you more than a millisecond to clock what the box was for, the brand name splashed across the front as you shook your head. "you kidnapped my books so you could force me into using a kindle?" you waved the box in your hand at the brunette who nodded.
"correct, and i already purchased and loaded those same three books and the two that come after it. again; you're welcome babe." "i didn't say thank you!" "i know, i'll be waiting."
"well you'll be waiting for a long, long time!" you huffed, dropping the box back on top of her pile of clothes in her case. "where are you going now!" emily asked with a frown as again you headed for the door.
"to buy a book. then maybe while i'm at it look a new girlfriend who likes the smell of the pages and cracking open a fresh new novel, the thrill of a dog eared corner and the hefty weight of the paper in your hands. someone who appreciates reading for what it is, not something done digitally!" you rambled out with a huff, hand on the doorknob.
"baby, you're being dramatic. come here and i'll read to you, you can even close your eyes and pretend its a book!" emily opened her arms expectantly as your gaze narrowed and her face lit up more as you took a few cautious steps toward her, stopping once you'd reached the side of the bed.
"come on babe its our first night on vacation lets not argue over something so silly, come cuddle." the american patted the space between her legs as you stared her down.
her features brightened yet again as you pushed her legs together and moved to straddle her lap, lips curling into a signature smirk. "actually, why waste time reading?" you breathed out, leaning in as your lips ghosted hers.
you leaned back slightly as the american surged forward, a smile on your face as a pout appeared on hers, kindle left on the nightstand beside her as one hand grabbed the back of your neck and the other your hip trying to pull you closer for a kiss.
however right as you leaned in to do just that within seconds your arm darted out and fingers grabbed at the smooth cold metal, snatching the kindle and swinging yourself off of her, headed again for the door.
"babe what the hell? where are you going now?" emily groaned, head thumping gently against the wall behind her watching you walk away with a frustrated frown.
"oh well since you insisted on bringing 'paige' on holiday with us, i figured why should she miss out on all the fun? so i'm gonna take her for a little evening swim!" "don't you dare." "oh yeah? watch me."
again within seconds as your hand gripped the doorknob you heard the covers go flying and feet hit the floor, the door barely opened a few centimeters before a body jumped onto you and your own slammed into the door closing it again.
"give her back!" "no! you have a problem you just called an inanimate object a her!" "i said give it!" emily grunted, arms wrapping around your neck and legs clutching at your hips as you held the kindle away from your body, stumbling backwards trying to keep your balance.
"oh my god you are addicted to this thing, you need help!" "i do not! you just don't understand the future." "oh i do, i know the future is looking awfully wet for paige!"
"em!" you squealed as she managed to pull you down onto the bed, crawling on top of you as you quickly wedged the kindle under your back and fought to push her off.
the two of you bickered back and forth as you grabbed her hands and got a knee loose, pushing her off of you and trying to flee again as her arm wrapped around your neck and her leg around your waist in an attempt at some sort of sleeper hold.
you had a couple of centimeters of height on her though and held the kindle just out of reach, using it to bonk her several times on the head to try and get her to let go of you to which she protested loudly.
after a few more minutes of struggle you almost rolled off the bed, yelping as strong hands grabbed you and using that to your advantage you managed to climb back on top of her.
"are we really fighting over a kindle?" you managed to press her arms to the bed with a grip on her wrists, her chest heaving beneath you and both your faces flushed rosy pink after the tussle.
"yeah, yeah we are." your girlfriend sighed, body going limp as a beat of silence passed before you both shared a look and suddenly you were rolling off of her, both your combined laughter filling the air as you clutched your stomachs.
"this is so stupid!" you managed out with a shake of your head. "i know." the defender agreed with a chuckle of her own, both of you taking a second to calm down again.
"truce?" you held a hand up in the air, her own coming to interlock and give it a firm shake. "truce, i love you."
"i love you too." you smiled, head turning to look as hers did the same, the two of you craning your necks to sweetly peck one anothers lips a few times with some giggles, your body rolling so you laid half on top of her, legs intertwining as her heart pounded beneath your eat that was pressed against her chest.
"one thing though?" "mm?" "paige is not allowed to sleep in the bed with us."

┌───────────────────────── · · · · ♡
The moment San asked to join you and his little princess to the doctor you knew it was over.
San was the one holding your hand while you gave birth, crying his eyes out. After calming down while his daughter was getting her check-up, the moment he laid eyes on her again he was back to crying a waterfall. The first time she got scared or hurt he cried. It slowly seemed to you that your husband was crying more than your two-month-old.
"Are you sure you want to come inside with us Sannie?" Looking over at him, his hair was growing a bit longer again since the birth of your princess, not having had time to properly get it cut or dyed, he also said he was scared of dyeing it in case it could affect his baby. Your hand was softly playing with the locks on his nape while watching him hug the two-month-old to his chest. "Huh? Of course! Papa has to be there for his little princess!" Noding you send him a soft smile, knowing fully well you and his little princes would be the ones to comfort him.
Just a week ago she had to pat his tears away when he started crying after she got scared by a barking dog in the park.
Looking up when your name was called, grabbing your bag, and following the doctor inside, San following you with little Eunhee on his arm as you two sit down in front of the doctor. Talking to him a bit about how your daughter is doing, how she has developed well till now. The little princess was looking happily at her father right now pulling his face into funny grimaces. That is until the doctor gets up and walks over to some drawers, pulling out a syringe and the vaccine she was about to get.
Her eyes are still on her father, as San now gets wide eyes while watching the doctor search everything together for the shot. Already noticing his trembling lower lip as the hug on his daughter grows slightly stronger. "Sannie should I hold her?" Offering but quickly being rejected when he shakes his head no. A sigh leaves your lips when the doctor approaches the three of you now, asking for you to push the clothes out of the way, as he notices your husband in visible distress.
"Just act as if this was nothing bad, she probably won't even notice it then." But upon raising his eyes to the father, he sighs. San now had tears streaming down his face, hugging his daughter tight to his chest. The doctor looks over to you for a quick check if this is normal, making you nod slowly. Reaching over you softly wipe away Sans tears but new ones continued to run. "Sannie it's fine, it's just a little prick, she will be alright." Your hand now moving on to your daughter, already confused watching her dad and now you.
Your hand softly tickles her cheek now making her giggle softly, giving the doctor a nod now to give her the shot. She didn't even flinch as you cooed at her, pressing little kisses to her face. Meanwhile, San let out a sob when he saw the needle pierce his poor baby's thigh, the tears now streaming stronger than before. The doctor puts a little bandaid with unicorns over it, before stepping away. San immediately turns his daughter around hugging her to his chest. "It's okay baby, Sannie is here.. Papa is.. here.." He was sobbing and hiccuping while the doctor now explained to you to make sure not to grab that spot for a few days and to cool the area if it got red or hot. After handing him the vaccine pass to put it in, you stand up followed by San who was still clutching the two-month-old to his chest. The sobbing quieted down to soft silent tears coming out of his eyes.
After leaving the room, you make a quick new appointment at the front desk, some mothers watching your husband and cooeing at him softly of how he was softly crying and holding his daughter. Rolling your eyes slightly, taking hold of Sans's other hand now that is not cradling his daughter as you lead him out of the doctor's office.
"Look at the little princess! Uncle Wooyoung is so proud of you! Not so much of your dad though." Wooyoung was holding Eunhee up in the air making her giggle, before looking at San, whose face was still red, puffy, and tear-stained. "Seriously why do you always cry, you cry more than your daughter and she's two months old." Wooyoung sits down opposite of you, Eunhee on his lap looking around the room and trying to grab the fork on the table, Wooyoung quickly moves it further away and instead gives her one of the toys lying on the table.
"Get kids yourself and then you'll know." Snatching Eunhee away from Wooyoung now, Seonghwa softly cradles her against him, pressing a kiss to her head, before sitting down with Hongjoong, they just arrived and now only Yunho and Mingi were missing. "Yeah!" Agrees San, making you side-eye him. "Sannie he's right though, you cry over everything involving Eunhee, what will you do when she gets a boyfriend?" His eyes grow wide as he looks at the baby on Seonghwas's lap, currently being entertained by some finger play from Hongjoong. "No! She won't ever! She'll stay Papa's little princess.." Tears welling up in his eyes now, here we go again.
"Sannie come here.." Softly pulling him over to you, you press a soft kiss to his lips, before pulling his head onto your chest. "She will always be our little princess of course and till she grows up it will be a long time.." Your hand was softly moving through his soft hair, while some tears escaped his eyes. It was charming of how attached and emotional he got to and over his daughter.
"WHERE IS MY FAVORITE CHILD?!" Mingis booming voice announces his entrance, the little girl immediately making grabby hands to the two giants. She definitely had favorites among her uncles, another thing San didn't like.

Please enjoy. I appreciate reblogs and comments. Likes are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciate you reading my work. However, reblogs really help writers out. So, please, considering rebloging.
It was a new bakery that many people in the city seemed to enjoy. Italian. Which always made the Shelby family slightly curious. But everyone assured them: a sweet family that always minded their own business. Even Tommy couldn’t find anything wrong about them-Italian mother, Italian father, American born daughter. Though, perhaps that was curious. But, really, the worst thing they have done was introduce the Brummies to this soft, decadent pastry. It was a fluffy bun stuffed to the brim with a soft, sweet cream. They sold out within thirty minutes every morning and by early afternoons most days, the shop was bare minimums with perhaps some breads and biscuits.
The shop owners' daughter was left to clean after closing. That was her duty besides working the counter; clean the shop top to bottom. She'd just finished sweeping the floor when the door opened. Not realizing she had left it unlocked, she jumped to find a young man dressed well in a blue suit. Politely, he took off his flat cap and tucked it away under her arm, and bowed his head respectfully. Regrettably she winced, “I’m sorry, sir, but we are closed. But we have some leftover bread if you want to just take it.” She started to walk around the counter, leaving her broom leaning on the wall. He grinned, walking around the shop, looking around at everything. He took note of the small things and the big things. It was a nice place, he admitted to himself. Perhaps his aunt was right in praising it.
She was packing up some bread when he finally paused and turned to her, toothpick twirling about in his mouth. He grinned and walked to the counter, leaning on it. Teasingly, he pulled the bag closer to him by his index finger before lifting it to his face. Almost mockingly, he closed his eyes and took a deep inhale, holding it before letting out a long, exaggerated, “mmmmmmm.” His eyes fluttered open and he gave a toothy grin. “Do you bake?”
She smiled, taking the bag back and taping it shut for him. “No. My father and mother…I do everything else. Cleaning, the counter, the money, the organizing. Keeps me busy. Out of trouble, they say.”
That’s when he leaned in a bit closer wearing a grin that made her drop her smile. Despite being modest, his eyes still moved to her blouse as he said, “and are you trouble?”
“No.” She was a bit more curt with him, lips pursed. “But I heard you Brummie boys were a lot of trouble. What are you looking for? Something tells me you aren’t exactly looking for bread.” That’s when he chuckled to himself. Always the girls with the big mouths, he thought, looking back up to her before digging out a piece of paper. It had a money amount written on it.
“Actually, it is I that has something for your father. Is he around?”
She grabbed the paper from his fingers, tearing it at the edge before her eyes skimmed over it. She had to lie. “No, you just missed him. He’s gone away to visit some family for the weekend. What is this?”
“A little fee that businesses around here pay,” he explained, tone changing a bit. Sitting up, he straightened his jacket. “I’m John Shelby.”
She glared at him, jaw stiff a bit. “A fee? Pizzo. It’s fuckin’ pizzo!” She ripped it up in tiny little pieces. John watched her, amused. What a fighter, eh? In her hand was a pile of white flakes. She leaned down and blew. “Now, it’s fuckin’ snow! Merry fuckin’ Christmas, John Shelby, and you can go fuck yourself and your Pizzo….” John Shelby looked down at his jacket, flicking off the white specks, nodding his head.
“Do you normally have such a mouth?” he asked, arching a brow. “Hm? Did your daddy ever tell you that you shouldn’t talk to others like that, eh?”
“And did yours ever tell you that you shouldn’t extort innocent businesses?” she mocked. “It's extortion. That is the actual term, asshole.”
“Extortion, fee, pizzo,” he shrugged. “All the same fookin’ outcome if you don’t pay it-”
“Oh!?” She laughed, amused. She grabbed a rum bottle from under the counter. The same type her father both drank from and used for baking. “What will happen? Hmm?” She started to walk around the counter. “Burn it down?” she mocked. “Oh, no! The big scary man is going to burn down my bakery cause he didn’t get his way.” She was walking towards him, finger poking at his vest-covered chest. Slowly, he backed up, eying her.
“It’s a protection fee,” he said. “Protect you and your family and business from-”
“From what? You? Please, you can’t fool me. I’m fuckin’ Italian. I know what pizzo is. I pay it, I keep my business. I don’t…you burn it down. But you know what, burn it right now, Mr. Shelby. Go ahead, hm? Be that big, scary gangster you are and burn it.” John was not going to entertain this. Crazy girl. He rolled his eyes and nodded for her to have a good day, but when he turned his back, he heard the rum spill to the ground and splash to him. In her pocket was a book of matches and she lit one. “Hmm? I’ll do it.”
John cursed under his breath, rubbing his temple. Putting his hand up, he said, “okay, look…just put the fookin’ match down, alright. No pizzo…no pizzo!” Breathing got a bit heavier, he scratched the back of his head. “Fuckin’ ell, you crazy bitch! What is wrong with you?” That is when she smirked and started to lower the match, throwing it to the ground. He jumped back, hollering. “What the fuck!?” But she laughed as the match sizzled and went out. It was water in the rum bottle.
“What is wrong with me? Ha!” She dropped her smile and glared. “I’m fucking crazy and if you don’t leave my bakery, I will show you just how fucking crazy I can be, John Shelby.” He scoffed and put his hat on his head, leaving. The bakery shook as he was not shy about slamming the door.
That night when she explained to her father about the predicament she was sure she handled it, but he was less than impressed. The next day, a few shillings in hand and a bag of bread, she was forced to go to the Garrison. “Apologize sincerely,” her father had warned. But she simply rolled her eyes. There was no way an apology was going to slip from her stubborn lips.
She walked in, the pub empty except a familiar man at the counter, sipping a whiskey, writing some numbers in a book. She cleared her throat, and he paused, turning around. Snorting, he looked at her and continued writing. “Come here to burn the pub?” he asked in a mumble.
“No.” She walked forward and slammed the bread on the counter before reaching in her little coin satchel. “Here. Though I don’t see it, my father is scared of you. Pathetic, really.” She put the fee on the counter and pushed it to him. He was about to say something when another man walked through double wooden doors, pausing.
“You’re that baker’s girl, eh?” he asked, lighting a smoke and walking forward. “Called me this morning. Said you’d be here by nine.” Mockingly, he pulled out his gold watch and said, “ah, but it’s ten.” She scoffed, eyes about to roll, but he tapped on the counter. “Oi! Don’t look at me like that, girl.” He said ‘girl’ as if she was below him, condescendingly. His finger pointed at her. “You have a fuckin’ mouth on you, y’know? Talkin’ to me brother like that, eh.”
She grinned and looked down at John. “Told your brother? Aw, you must be the baby. Telling his older brother…oh, the mean little baker girl scared-” She jumped and yelped when Tommy hit the wooden counter again. That time was harder and louder. Her eyes slowly looked up at him as he made his way to her.
“How old are you?” he asked, perching the cigarette between his lips. The smoke blew in her face, causing her to choke a bit.
Admittedly, she was a little scared when she noticed the gun in the holster. But she kept her attitude. “Seeing the wrinkles under your eyes, I’m a lot younger than you.” John paused, taking a deep breath, mouthing fuckin’ ‘ell. Little did she know her stubborn mouth was going to get her in trouble.
Tommy took the smoke from his lips and stared at her in disbelief. He reached out and grabbed her cheeks, fingers pressing harshly into her skin. John watched, feeling his stomach drop when she pushed away and slapped him. Tommy laughed, head still turned and rubbing his cheek. “Fuckin’ ‘ell.” Looking back at her, he asked, “Daddy never taught you any manners, eh? Just walk around thinking you can act like a little cunt, hm?”
She spat at his feet and said, “definitely taught me not to let men put their fuckin’ hands on me. You got your money, I’m going to leave.” When she attempted to push past him, unapologetically bumping into his arm, he turned and gripped a handful of her hair. “Shit!” She hissed, struggling to regain herself, pushing at him. “Let go-!” With his free hand, he wrapped it around her throat just enough to make her panic.
“You’re a fuckin’ brat,” he said, amused walking her to the back office. She kept telling him in a mix of grunts and pleads to let go of her, but he easily shut her up. He gripped her neck in a way that his thumb, pinky, and ring finger were pressing against her flesh, but his middle and index were shoved in her mouth. “There you go, shut up, hm?” He laughed as her tongue tried to pry his fingers out of her mouth. It was even more cute when she tried to speak and her words were just a string of gurgles. “Hmm? What is it, baby?” He moved his fingers around in her mouth and cooed. “I know, sweety. It doesn’t feel so nice being humiliated, does it? It’s okay, though. Mr. Shelby is going to be so kind, hmm? Okay? He’s going to teach you a little lesson so this doesn’t happen again.” He kicked the door to his office shut and moved her to the wooden desk. She fought against him, trying to push her body against his to throw him off.
John could hear the commotion from the bar and slid off his stool, walking in and pausing at the door frame. Brow arched, he asked, “is this really necessary?” Tommy, tired, threw her on the ground and put his foot on the back on her left leg, telling her to stay. John shook his head. “She paid the money, let ‘er go, Tommy.”
Tommy, out of breath, gave his brother a look that was familiar. The one look that John couldn’t fight with. “What?” he asked, arching his brow. “John, lock fucking door and come…stop fuckin’ moving…and come here, eh?” John let out a long sigh and shut the double doors, locking them. When he walked over, Tommy took a seat back and grabbed his bottle of rum. “Get her over the desk-”
“Tommy,” John said, slumping his shoulders a bit. “What the fuck are you going to? Spank her?” When Tommy didn’t answer, John froze before cursing. “You aren’t-”
“You’re right,” he said. “I’m not, John, you are.”
She sat up and backed herself up against the desk, swallowing as she looked up at John. When their eyes connected, she said, “I’m sorry…please don’t. I just want to go home.” But John had to listen to his older brother. Kneeling, he gave her a sympathetic frown before hoisting her up. She struggled a bit, but gave up seeing that the doors were locked by a key.
“Face her towards me, John,” he said, reaching for another smoke. John rested her body over the wooden desk, and when she looked at Tommy, he smiled at her. She flinched when he reached out and gently caressed her cheek, thumb teasing at her lips. “What a fuckin’ mouth on you, eh? Such a messy girl, hm? Open.” She sucked her lips in, in protest, shaking her head, but he simply pinched her nose. Struggling she kept her lips sealed until she had to suck in air. “Good girl,” he praised. “See?” Tommy shoved his two fingers in her mouth again, pushing them to the back of her throat. Gagging and drooling, she made a pool of mess on the desk. “See, John? She’s a good girl. Just only shuts her mouth at the wrong times.” John looked down at her in pity, but he would be lying if he said it wasn’t turning him on just a bit. “You never had anything in this pretty mouth before, huh? I can tell. That’s a good girl. Practice on my fingers.” That’s when she fought back, pushing away and spitting them out. Catching John off guard, she slipped from the desk, accidentally falling into the seat.
“You’re disgusting,” she said, wiping her mouth.
Tommy slid back in his chair and got up, walking to his brother and gripping his face. The two had a short stair down before Tommy said, “can’t keep a fuckin’ girl half your fuckin’ size in place?” John looked off to the side, but Tommy forced him to look at him, slapping his cheek. “Oi! Listen to me, eh? You fuckin’ keep her in place or I’ll do it! Understand me, John?” John nodded and mumbled alright, Tommy. “Good.” He turned to her and kneeled to her height, lifting up her chin. “You better hope he does what I tell him because you’ll not like what I do to you.” Those words sent a chill up her spine that caused her to be slightly more compliant. She allowed him to easily place her over the desk. “Look at me, sweetheart. I want to see those beautiful eyes…ah, good girl. Now open your mouth.” John pressed his lower half against her legs so she couldn’t move. She opened her mouth and took in his fingers. “Go on, practice. How would you suck my cock?” The way he said ‘my’ and not ‘a’ made her stomach curl. Was he going to make her do it? She obediently bobbed her head back and forth, not breaking eye contact. “You can do better…try harder.” His eyes fluttered up to John, amused. “Fuckin’ just gonna stand there?” She bobbed harder, sucking on them and swirling her tongue around his fingers. Drool was pooling from her lips.
John rolled his eyes. “What would you like me to do, Tommy?”
“What are you, a fuckin’ virgin? Got to show you what to do? Take off your fuckin’ belt for one,” he said looking back at her, smiling. “Cause someone still needs her little arse spanked, huh? Cause someone’s father didn’t fucking do it. Huh? It’s okay…don’t be scared. Some girls like having their body abused like that. I think you may be one of them.” John’s hands slid up her quivering legs. She whimpered on his fingers, feeling John tickle her skin. His fingers hooked around the waist band and pulled south until he slipped them from her legs. John looked over the pink silk, thumb rubbing against the oval wet spot, a small grin on his face before he showed Tommy. Tommy pulled his fingers out of her mouth, a string of spit following. Her lips were a beautiful bruised red that made his cock twitch in his trousers. When he noticed her eyes drift down, he gently tickled her chin. “Don’t worry, sweety. You’ll get that soon enough when I’m sure you won’t bite.” He grabbed the panties and looked at the wet spot before showing her. “Look at this,” he said, smiling as if he was proud of her. “What is this? You either tinkled yourself or your little cunt is getting excited.” He brought it up his face and to her disgust, he licked it before grinning. “Such a dirty slut.”
Meanwhile, John was rolling her skirt over her ass, resting it on her back. It gave him a full, beautiful view of her ass and pussy. John grinned and looked up at Tommy, “I think someone enjoys being degraded.” His hands worked at his belt, sliding it off through the loops. It was pure leather. When his hand rested on her ass, massaging the soft, untouched skin, her body jolted. His hands were cold. John sighed. “I didn’t even start yet, babygirl.”
“I think twenty would do her good,” Tommy said, balling up her panties. “C’mon, sweetheart, open your mouth up again…let me put these in.”
“It’s going to hurt,” she whimpered, but didn’t protest, opening her mouth for him to gag her with her own panties.
“That’s the point, babygirl,” John said, looking up at Tommy with a grin. He was starting to enjoy it a bit himself, remembering how much the girl pissed him off the day before. “Twenty?” Tommy nodded and looked back at her.
“Yes, twenty,” he said. “Are you scared?”
She nodded, unable to speak properly.
“Think of just how much more scared you would be if you didn’t pay that fuckin’ fee,” he said, touching her cheek, sliding it up to her hair. “Without me protecting you. Hm? Aren’t you happy you are here with Mr. Shelby and not getting your little cunt raped by some savage fucking Italian.” Her eyes started to well a bit and he pouted, mockingly. “Oh, sweetheart, I forgot…you’re Italian. Sorry, you kind of just look like a dirty little girl to me right now. You want me to stop? Yeah? You do?” She nodded, crying into the rag. He chuckled. “Then beg for it. Beg for me to stop.” She tried to yell the words through her underwear, but it didn’t come out. “Aww, you can’t, can you. John, go on. Twenty spanks…soft at first. We’ll at least be nice in that regard.”
John nodded. “Alright.” He gave her round ass once last rub and a love tap before spitting on her. His eyes studied the hand crafted leather belt, feeling it in his hands before raising it and bringing it down against her skin. It was a soft tap, and she jolted for the surprise more than anything. It was a little sting, nothing more. “One.” He waited a second before bringing it down again. “Oi!” He shouted. “Two! C’mon…count.” Through the fabric, she tried to count, but he was always one ahead of her. Sometimes he’d land one at a time then others, two. With each spank, he went harder as if he was getting angrier, hating her. But John just loved the sound of leather hitting her bare skin. Especially the way it looked. “Your arse is so fuckin’ red,” he moaned out, one handly unbuttoning his trousers, allowing his cock out. “Tommy,” he said, looking over to his brother. “After…after I’m done-”
“You still have ten more spanks,” he said, hand still cradling her cheek, wiping away her tears with a swipe of his thumb. “Doesn’t he, sweetheart? It’s okay. You’re taking them so well. Daddy is very proud of you.” The way he said daddy nearly made her toes curl. She moaned in the rag, eyes getting heavy. “I’m going to take such good care of you,” he whispered.
John sighed as his hand gently tugged eagerly at his cock. Her cunt was there and all he wanted was to rub it against her. But he raised the belt and from frustration, slammed it down hard. In pain, she screamed into the rag, fingers white knuckled gripping at the wood. There was a knock at his office, and through the wood, someone said, “Jesus, Tommy, what the fuck are you doin’ in there?”
Tommy sighed, but John answered for him, “fuck off, Arthur!”
Tommy laughed and pinched her cheek. “Screaming a little too loud, princess. Did Johnny boy hit you too hard, hm?” She nodded and he frowned. “Alright, but it’s your job to keep quiet, eh?” She nodded, feeling completely submitted to him. If she wasn’t gagged, she would have said, with ease, yes, sir. “Good girl.”
“What is going on in there, eh?” The door jiggled and John glared at him. “Why is the door locked, hm?”
“I said, fuck off!” he hollered, spanking another skin splitting hit. Her eyes nearly bulged from her head as she tried not to scream. Tommy looked at John and put his hand up, silently telling him to calm down just a tad. The poor girl’s ass was blistering red and on fire. Tommy hadn’t expected his brother to get so worked up.
“Arthur,” Tommy yelled, standing up and leaning into the girl. “It’s my other brother. I’ll be back, sweetheart. Be good to John, eh? Can you do that?” And she nodded, which made him smile. Sweetly, and surprisingly, he kissed her forehead, lingering there. Waltzing around the desk, he paused at John, placing a hand on his shoulder. “Just seven more.” John nodded. Something about spanking her made him feral. Made him want to shove her body against his bed, face pushed in the pillow. Tommy unlocked the door and slid out.
When he left, John dropped his belt and leaned over her, hand around her throat. “You really fuckin’ pissed me off yesterday…. Ripping up my shite like that.” He pushed his cock between her legs, allowing it to tease at her lips. Feeling it there felt like hell. She tried to shimmy herself from his grasp, whimpering, but he was far too heavy. “What the fuck you think you’re doing, huh? Coming here with your smart mouth…not so smart now, huh? Your dirty panties shoved down your throat. You can’t even ask me to stop right now. I could do it, you know? Pissed me off so, so fucking bad…I could do it.” He started to move his hips up, his cock slipping between her lips, pushing up and rubbing against her clit. His breath shuddered. “Then you come in here like you fuckin’ own everywhere you step…And you didn’t even apologize. Get this fuckin’ rag out of your mouth!” He pulled it out and grabbed a fist of her hair, and made her sit up a bit. Immediately, she started choking and gasping for all the air she could. “Say you’re fuckin’ sorry.”
Choking on her tears, she cried out, “I’m sorry!”
“Say it again…say you’re fucking sorry for being such a disgusting little cunt.”
She had to pause, squeezing her eyes shut in shame. “I-I’m-”
“Get it the fuck out!” he yelled in her ear.
“I’m sorry for being such a disgusting little cunt!”
“Good,” he said, about to position himself when the door opened and locked behind him. He closed his eyes, cursing. Tommy walked around the desk, looking at his brother. “I finished the spanking….”
“Did you?” he asked, and John nodded. Tommy looked at the girl. “Did he?” She nodded. Tommy tsked and shook his head. “Are you lying to me, sweetheart?” When she nodded again, Tommy looked up at John. “Got a fuckin’ wife at home and you’re that horny? Get a new fuckin’ wife, eh? Take your cock and put it away.” John groaned, pushing away from the girl, fixing himself.
“Really, Tommy? You made me do this and you won’t let me finish?” he asked.
Tommy lit another smoke and said, “no, your job was to spank her…never said to fuck the girl. You can leave. Arthur is outside waiting. You two need to go run some errands for me.” John rolled his eyes and cursed under his breath before heading out the door. When it slammed shut and locked, Tommy looked down at her. “Did he fuck you?” She shook her head. “Use your words.”
“No, sir,” she choked.
He gave a quick nod, “good.” Tommy sat back in his chair and leaned back. “C’mere.” The girl paused for a second watching as he patted his lap before slowly climbing off the desk and into his lap. “Good girl,” he cooed, bringing her into his chest. “Rest against me. Don’t worry, we’re done with our little lesson. Did you learn anything?”
“Yes, sir.’
“And what did you learn?”
“To be a good girl.” Tommy smiled at that answer, cradling her in his arms. His hand danced in circles around her back while her head rested against his chest. “Can I go home soon?” she asked, feeling worn out and filthy from what had happened. Nevermind emotionally and mentally fucked.
Tommy looked down at her before he said, “no. I think you and Mr. Shelby will spend some more time together. Perhaps for the evening. How does that sound, eh?” He placed a kiss on her head and called her a, “pretty girl.” She couldn’t fight him. It was no use. Submitting, she snuggled into his lap, yawning. “And I think you and I can make a new arrangement in regards to the protection fee.” With that, he stood, holding her in his arms. “C’mon,” he whispered. “I’ll take you to my home and we’ll have a bath.”

Summer time!
~Let's go to the beach-each Let's go get a wave...~
I'm not a beach person but anything for the Bofurin Primo
Wind Breaker characters on the beach with you
Bubble gun 🫧🔫
Seiryu Sakaki - The moment you took out the bubble gun his eyes were glued to it and he waited for the perfect moment. You filled it with bubble liquid and when your finger moved to the trigger to try it, it disappeared from your hand within a second. You looked surprised to the side to see Seiryuu smirking at you before his hand raised higher and he used it making the bubbles fall down around you and on your body.
Mitsuki Kiryu - Your beach bag was slowly emptying as you pulled out everything you needed. Noticing the toy in your collection he didn't think twice before grabbing it. His eyes glimmered in joy while his lips turned into a smirk. He gave you a quick kiss and tested the bubble gun before running around while attacking his friends with the bubbles.
Kotoha Tachibana - Your gaze turned to her, as she lay down on her beach chair. You contemplated hard about what to do, was your plan gonna work? Sink or swim, let's go. You quickly made up your mind and sneakily took out the bubble gun before stealthily standing behind her. Your hand extended and bubbles came out of the toy and coated her in the soapy substance. She sighed deeply before quickly turning to you and grabbing the thing from your hand. Her face scowling while yours pouted begging for her to give it back.
Takeshi Enomoto - You loved to irritate him, lovingly of course. Anything to have his attention on you and only you. And he, because he loved you way too much, knew you well enough to be reacting to your strange antics in a different way than this. He had a poker face while you ran around him spraying the bubbles around him and then around you playing with them and trying to pop each one that appeared. He breathed deeply and just let you have the time of your life. Seeing your big grin a small smile appeared on his face.
Inflatable flaming/unicorn 🦄🦩
Jo Togame - Oh it was such a great purchase. You thought as you finished pumping the air inside the pink flamingo float. It was perfect for keeping some distance from the rest of the unruly guys from Shishitoren and their water shenanigans. You grabbed the float and entered the water with it before proudly sitting on it and watching everyone have fun and drown themselves (playfully). That was until he swam closer to you and tried to get you to join them. Yet your stubborn self decided to keep yourself on top of the pink flamingo. His smirk made you question his next actions as he swam under water disappearing from your view. Suddenly you were thrown from the float with a yelp and as you came up above the water he smirked at you grabbing you closer to him and swimming closer to others while you trashed in his hold.
Choji Tomiyama - If you knew it would happen you would bring a mattress or something bigger to lay on, rather than the unicorn float. And what exactly happened? You weren't sure either, one second you were floating on the unicorn happily playing with your hands in the water, and the next he appeared above you falling down on you as if jumping from somewhere, or maybe one of the guys helped him. It didn't end well, because as soon as he landed on you, both of you went flying as the unicorn titled sideways making you fall into the water with a splash and he laughed joyfully wanting to do this again.
Yukinari Arima - It was such a bad idea. You jumped in the water trying to get on top of the unicorn float you brought with you to the beach. You should've climbed it when the water wasn't so deep, also as soon as you thought about it you should've done it, maybe then you wouldn't still be in the water while he was taking your place on the float. He made fun of you for not being able to climb on the unicorn and when you told him he couldn't do it as well he proved you wrong. And now the unicorn was stolen from you as you whined from your place in the water and he laughed joyfully sinking in his victory.
Yuto Kusumi - You laughed to yourself from your place above water as you floated happily. He swam near you asking if you would let him join you. After you declined it with a grin he decided to take some revenge. The sun brought you sleepiness and you had a quick nap all the while he watched as you drifted further away but always making sure it wasn't too far away from him. When you finally woke up wiping the sleep from your eyes you were further in the water than you expected and panicked a little calling for him to help you out. He teased you but still came to help you. In thanks you let him join you on the pink flamingo.
Sunscreen ☀️🧴
Toma Hiiragi - His eyes furrowed the moment the words left the stranger's mouth. He quickly made his way to you and glared at him before grabbing the sunscreen bottle from your hands and moving to kneel beside you. You giggled as he voiced that you're perfectly fine and don't need this stranger's help. He can't even imagine anyone else but him touching you and massaging the sunscreen onto your body. You happily positioned yourself as his hands started moving over your warm skin, teasing him here and there that you wouldn't let anyone else do it and there was no need for him to get jealous.
Minoru Kanuma - You finished putting the sunscreen on him and then he moved to do the same for you. Although the feeling was slightly different than you thought as his fingers slowly moved over your body. First, you didn't mind it all that much focusing simply on the feeling of his palm against you but then you thought about it more and when it came to you, you turned to him with accusation evident on your face. You asked him if he was writing on your back instead of applying the sunscreen evenly and he couldn't help the laugh that left his mouth as you glared at him in betrayal. After confirming your accusation he promised to do it correctly this time.
Ren Kaji - He sat down beside you watching carefully as you applied the sunscreen over your legs and arms. His gaze followed the movement of your fingers as if hypnotized and you smirked to yourself when you noticed it from the corner of your eyes. The next moment the bottle was in front of him as you gazed at him with your pretty eyes asking him to put it on you. He gulped grabbing the sunscreen and facing your partially naked body. And then you lay down telling him to sit on your legs because that way it'd be easier. He didn't know why he agreed but he did and later he had to keep himself in check as his hands slowly massaged the substance over your warm and soft skin.
Akihiko Nirei - The moment you finished putting on your sunscreen you turned with a smile to him. He gulped seeing the mischievous sparkle in your eyes and when you proposed to put the thing on his back he flushed red. He stuttered out a confirmation while you positioned yourself behind him your chest close to his back making him aware of the warmth and closeness of your body. And then your hands touched his skin and he felt a shiver ran down his spine. He quickly stood up tripping over his legs as he ran away yelling that he was going to swim first and later he would join you sunbathing. In reality, he just needed to cool himself off and let his heart slow down from the quick beat your hands brought it to.
Ice cream 🍨🍦
Hajime Umemiya - Noticing the booth near the beach you didn't think twice before grabbing his hand and bringing him to get some ice cream. It was the perfect sweet dessert for the hot day and you read all the names of flavours thinking which one would be the best. After choosing your favourite you shared it with him and he decided to buy two cones, one for each of you. At least you thought so when he ordered them. When the stall booth employee gave it to him he didn't let you grab your ice cream as he brought it to your lips. It seemed like a sweet gesture and you licked the ice tasting the sweetness. You voiced your approval and before you leaned to get another bite it was gone from your sight just like he, who ran away while laughing merrily with both cones in his hands. You chased after him yelling his name and how he was a thief.
Hayato Suou - You brought the ice cream cone to your mouth licking the slowly melting dessert trying to keep it from dirtying your fingers. It was a hard task especially when the weather was so hot it melted even before you grabbed it from his hand. He watched carefully his cup of ice forgotten and only grabbed more tightly with each second his eyes were stuck on you. The ice finally got to you and started dripping down your fingers and you tried to lick it off while a small pout was visible on your face. You stopped your task despite your determination and turned to him to ask if he liked the sweet dessert only to be met with his eyes on you while his mouth was softly opened in arousal.
Uryu Sakaki - Both of you enjoyed the ice cream cups that you got all while sitting on the beach towel and enjoying the breeze of the sea. He hummed happily with each spoon that entered his mouth the whipped cream and sparkles making his mood even better. You yourself liked your dessert but his big smile made it taste even better. And when you noticed the ice cream at the corner of his mouth you chuckled softly getting his attention. You placed the cup by your leg as your now empty hands grabbed his chin and cheek and you leaned closer. Your lips touched the corner of his getting the cold treat and you pulled away while licking your lips. His eyes widened as his face got redder and not necessarily from the hot weather.
Kota Sako - With him, it seemed like a checkpoint, to get some sweet dessert anywhere you were. Somehow he had this 6th sense to pick the best place and the best food options. And so you found yourself with two pretty and tasty ice cream desserts in front of you. You ate yours praising him for his great choice and he smiled enjoying his. Then he picked the best flavours that he knew you'd like and scooped them on his spoon before extending it towards you. You let him feed you feeling warm as he leaned close to be more comfortable. You of course reciprocated and the both of you ate the desserts sharing them between you two.
Playing in water 🌊💦
Tasuku Tsubakino - You had your swimwear on. It was flattering on you and fit you perfectly. And you had to use it in the water. You looked at them, as they were lying there in the beach chair tanning. You huffed to yourself knowing it was already a few good minutes that the both of you spent not in the water, where you really wanted to be. You asked once more if they wanted to join you but as you received yet another no you begrudgingly entered the water alone. Your gaze moved to them as they turned to their stomach and away from you and you smirked as a plan developed in your mind. You quickly ran up to them and picked them up as they yelled at the cold water clinging to you and squirmed in your hold. You held them tightly to your chest and entered the water together while they squealed and when you let them down on their legs they had no mercy. They splashed you just like you wanted while yelling at you and laughing when you begged them to stop.
Taiga Tsugeura - He was the one to bring you to the water and encourage you to play with him as you splashed joyfully. Then he proposed to bring you on his shoulder and carry you. Soon you made it into a game with others to see who was the best. His hands tightly gripped at your legs as he maneuvered expertly making you the winner and taking part in pushing every opponent of yours into the water. In the end, in celebration, and with your acceptance he threw you back from his shoulders making sure you were alright, and grabbing at your waist as he helped you swim back above the water.
Teruomi Inugami - You were lying on the beach towel enjoying the sunshine unaware of what he was getting ready for. Somehow he got his hands on the water pump gun. How? You weren't sure he just got it and you got to know about it only when he ran up to you attacking you and spraying the water over you. You watched in relief as he avoided your bag and all the things you brought only wetting your swimsuit and the towel you were on as you grabbed it and tried to cover yourself from his attacks. His laughter filled the air and he jumped to sit near you when the water gun was empty. You grimaced at him but seeing his happy face a smile appeared on yours as well.
Swimsuit 👙 🩳
Kyotaro Sugishita - As soon as you came to the beach everyone started getting ready taking their clothes off or going to the changing rooms to put on their swimsuits. He was already dressed in one so he just started pulling out the beach mat for the both of you. His eyes caught the movement from your side and he stared with open mouth while you took off your clothes. Left in your chosen swimsuit he immediately stood up and put the Hawaiian shirt he had on around your shoulder to make sure others don't look at your body.
Haruka Sakura - Both of you decided to do some shopping for the beach trip Umemiya was organizing. Sakura was quick to pick some swimming trunks for himself while you had your hands full of colorful swimwear you wanted to try on. You made him wait for you and give opinions about which was the best choice. His face was red basically all the time as you showed off the swimsuits to him in the changing room. He was literally having the best and worst time of his life.

𓂅new order. "tarte aux fraises and uh... a éclair au chocolat."
How un.fortunate
pairing. Boothill x fem!reader cw/genre. angst, misunderstood, crying, disappointment, frustration, bittersweet ed, some fluff synopsis. he heard part of the conversation with your friends, exactly a bad part. full menu
"Isn't he cute?" One of your friends, Elisa, blurted out. Who carried a small baby in his arms.
"Oh…yes he is!" You spoke, excitedly, taking his small hands in your fingers.
How you loved babies and children in general.
"Can I carry it too?" You asked this time looking at another of your friends, Laila, who was the little boy's mother.
"Sure! Just be careful with his head and neck."
"Hello little one." You spoke to the baby as you held him in your arms as Laila instructed.
Together with your friends, you had met after so many planned outings, which in one way or another ended up being canceled since one was always busy.
Recently one of them had another child. Of your small group of 4 friends, you were the only one who didn't have children until now.
Even though when you were in your student days, you and your friends said that you would be the first to have children.
How unfortunate.
"Oh…he's so fragile." You commented with a soft and cheerful smile.
"He's too cute!" Elisa commented looking at the baby.
"Yeah. And he cries so much." Laila commented in a tired tone. as she gave a soft yawn, it seemed that she was quite tired of the baby, which she had been looking after all the time.
"What else do you expect? He's little." Elisa spoke.
"Is he very noisy?" You asked, curious.
"He keeps us up all night with his crying, you have no idea." Laila responded.
"Sure it's cute at first," said your friend, Myre, "but when you have to deal with them for real… It's a whole other story."
"Are your children also a hassle to you?" You asked with a slight chuckle and curiosity.
"Nah, I love those little ones with my soul." She said, slowly sitting down in the chair at the table where the four of them were sitting. She had to be careful since she was 7 months pregnant.
Your friends, except for Myre, groaned at this.
"How can you say something like that when you're going to have more children?" Laila asked in a tired tone.
"Haha I do not know." She said, laughing, "And I didn't even want to have children."
They all laughed, commenting on one or another trick to make parenting easier. While you stayed talking to the baby with a soft voice. You rocked him in your arms calmly.
"Oh, and wouldn't it be a good idea to put our children in the same academy, just like we planned when we were younger?—" Elisa's words were cut off by a gentle nudge from Myre.
As if to try to silence her.
"Uh…sorry" Elisa's tone of voice was low and with some embarrassment.
You knew very well that in a certain way they felt sorry for you, refusing to talk about that kind of things in front of you.
You really tried not to let it affect you.
"Oh, no. It's totally fine, girls." You spoke, smiling somewhat embarrassed, keeping your gaze on the baby that you still held in your arms.
The baby began to let out soft cries and to move his little arms. You had no idea why.
"Oh, he must be hungry." Laila said, taking a small bottle of breast milk from the bag she had brought with her.
Putting some hot water in it from another thermos that she also brought.
"Here." She handed it to you.
"Are you sure you want me to do it?" You asked, looking at Laila.
She just smiled and shook her head.
You couldn't help but smile at him in response, as you brought the bottle closer to the baby's little mouth.
Then, the baby started drinking his food from the bottle you were holding.
Your friends smiled in reassurance, understanding that you were fine.
"Dear, I had a question actually…" Myre spoke slowly.
"Go ahead." You responded, curious to know what she would ask.
"What about your boyfriend?"
The question made you a little nervous. You had a small worry on your mind, a worry that you've told no one about. Your head was full of thoughts at that momen, it became a sudden silence in the table.
"Uh…well," You let out an awkward chuckle. "Recently we haven't seen each other much." That was the truth.
Lately you had seen your boyfriend less and there was a reason behind it. Boothill was not one to stay on one planet, as he was a galaxy ranger. But that didn't stop him from deciding to stay on your planet for a long time. I went and came back to be with you.
"Well, not all couples see each other every day." Elisa commented, taking a sip of her hot tea.
You were currently residing on a planet that orbited near Jarilo-VI. Or at least that's what Boothill told you.
"She's right, after all not every couple is the same." Laila commented.
They all remained silent, giving each other slight glances.
Of course it didn't go unnoticed by you.
"…We just want you to be a happy girl, sweetheart."
"Um…what's this all about?" You asked, looking at Myre, who after handing the bottle to Laila, took your hand.
"We're worried about you and your situation." She said, looking into your eyes.
"Why…?" That was all you could come up with.
"Lately you've been quite… Distracted or down." This time Laila spoke, with a worried expression.
It was true, you were sure that you had been acting distant lately, at least for the last two weeks. You didn't want to but they had noticed.
"I'll be honest, you're scaring us, sweety girl." Elisa spoke, taking off her glasses and rubbing her eyes with them.
"You really don't look happy, dear." Myre, after saying that, squeezed your hand tighter, as if she wanted to give you comfort.
"We care about you, you know."
The others nodded as well, you had a feeling what was going to happen, they were very obvious.
They all cared about you, you had known each other for long time after all. You knew what they were going to say.
"The truth is that we don't know if that cowboy is the best choice for you." Elisa's words made your heart feel a little heavy.
They knew almost perfectly who your boyfriend was. They knew that being more metal than human, it was impossible for you to have children.
"Dear," Laila started to speak, "You've told us time and time again that you want children of your own. And you know that he can't give you children…"
You tried to swallow the lump in your throat. That was what hurt the most.
She was right, maybe too right.
How unfortunate.
Your gaze was now positioned on the baby, who was now being carried by Elisa.
How much you longed to be able to hold your own children just as you held your friend's child moments before.
You couldn't stop your eyes from filling with a thin layer of tears.
You looked down at your legs, in an attempt to not let them see your face like that.
You let out a silent sigh.
Of course, you knew it wasn't going to be possible to have a baby with Boothill. He was more made of metal and circuits than a living being.
The only way you could have your own children would be to have them with another human. It didn't matter how hard you tried, there was just no way.
Something you didn't know was that the person your friends were talking about was right around the corner from the cafe where you were.
His happiness at seeing you was suddenly turned off, as if it were a switch.
He had heard what they had been talking about.
He saw your reaction.
You didn't deny anything, nor did you say anything in response to your friends' words. In his eyes, you just lowered your head.
If he had a heart, he would have thought his heart was falling towards his now nonexistent stomach.
The beautiful bouquet of flowers that was going to belong to you was now in an alley, exactly in a garbage container.
…
You took out your key to enter your house, you were tired.
You chose to return on foot.
You inserted the key, unlocking the door lock. Entering calmly.
It was a great surprise to see Boothill there.
He could enter whenever he wanted since you had given him a spare key that you had.
It was good for you that he returned to your planet, you really needed his affection now. You were a little down because of the conversation you had with your friends.
"Hello, love." You said, smiling softly at him.
Your eyes were still a little red from the crying that your friends had to witness and comfort.
You fully entered your house and closed the door behind you, approaching your boyfriend so you can kiss him.
Your lips met briefly. You couldn't help noticing that this time it was a much colder and dry caress than usual. He even seemed a little uncomfortable.
He was expressionless, but you could still see something of disappointment hidden behind his eyes.
"Hey, are you alright?" You asked, in a low voice, stroking his cheek with your hand lovingly.
He moved away from your touch, as if it burned his face.
"How unfortunate, isn't it?" He asked as he looked at you.
How unfortunate? The hell was he talking about…?
You took a step forward in an attempt to be closer to him. But he, in response, just took a step back and away from you.
"Don't touch me with those hands."
Those words hurt like a stab in your heart.
Hands… those hands you tried to use to comfort him, caress him.
His look of disappointment was replaced by a look of frustration.
"What do you mean…?" You asked, confused, with a worried expression.
"Oh, you know…" He said, faking nonchalance.
"You can't make your greatest dream come true with me." His words sounded cold.
Your expression dropped, tears slowly filling your eyes, at that moment you remembered the conversation you had with your friends.
"You hear..?" You asked, in a low, broken voice.
You were trying to compose yourself.
Boothill just responded with a chuckle, that hurt you more.
"It's funny how you try to hide your disappointment and your frustration when you see others living the life you want, but you'll never be able to have."
It was the truth after all. A truth that no matter how much you want to ignore, it hurt you more and more.
You tried to open your mouth to speak, but just a small incoherent sound came out.
"No matter how many nights we've lived together, you'll never bear my children."
It was the cruel truth, a reality that you were aware of, but still you let yourself live that lie.
You wanted so much to have his children.
Yet he couldn't give you what you desired.
You took a deep sigh trying to calm the turmoil of emotions that were going through you.
"Boothill…" You whispered, trying to keep your voice from breaking any more than it already had.
His name came out of your lips like a mantra as you were drowning in tears.
"Stop crying." His tone of voice sounded sharper this time, which hurt you even more.
He was acting completely different than usual. He wanted to hurt you?
No, he wanted to get away.
But the pain was too great, tears began to run down your eyes.
"Maybe your friends are right."
"Maybe you should consider looking for someone else."
The tears were falling down your cheeks like a river and your sobs were getting worse.
Those words were so cold that they made your body freeze, your breath came out shaky.
"Please don't say that." You just managed to speak through sobs.
With those words, you walked towards your boyfriend in an attempt to hold him tight and kiss his entire face. To hold him close to your body. But as you were approaching, he just took a step back.
"Just admit it." He muttered in between his teeth.
That filled your head with questions. Admit what?
"Eh?…" You blurted out, giving him a confused look. With your hand you dried the tears that stained your cheeks.
"You also think the same as them."
It wasn't a question, it was a statement.
"You're disappointed, you're frustrated… aren't you?" This time his tone of voice was much calmer, as if he was more tired.
You couldn't respond.
"Say it."
"It's not like that, I'm not—" Your words were interrupted.
Boothill laughed lightly at your denial. "Be honest."
Your brow furrowed slightly. What had he heard then to make him say that?
"You didn't say anything when they told you i wasn't good for you, that you weren't happy."
So he had heard most of the conversation.
But not exactly everything.
"You didn't say anything when they said it was better for you to look for someone else, someone human."
Again you wanted to try to speak but his words were a constant punch to your heart, your body felt heavy.
It was a cruel reality.
You knew that if you stayed with Boothill, you would never be able to have children.
But that didn't matter, it didn't matter to you. You loved him, more than anyone could ever understand.
You loved him, more than your own life.
You didn't want to lose him.
He was the person you wanted by your side for the rest of time.
"I did say something, you didn't fully hear how the conversation went. We can sit down and talk." Your voice rose and fell in pitch as you tried to appease the lump in your throat.
He didn't respond, lowering his gaze to the ground for a moment, as if he was taking the time to think about what he would do next.
"If you're not going to make the decision, I'll help you decide."
He proceed to give you the spare keys to your house.
You stayed still before that, feeling how your eyes were filling with tears again.
Wait, hold on.
"You should search for a human male, someone who can give you what you desire more than anything."
Your body had gone completely tense.
The keys were now gently placed on your palm. Your eyes couldn't process what was happening at the moment. "I'm not going to come back."
As the moment passed and his words and his action were processed in your mind, you slowly managed to raise your face to look at him.
You felt as if at any moment your heart would explode in your chest.
He was going to break up with you. He wanted to break.
Boothill was going to leave you.
"I'm sorry I couldn't fulfill your desire." He started to speak again.
You could hear the disappointment in his words.
"That's it?" You asked through your tears.
That was the last thing he was going to tell you?
Your question was ignored.
"Take care… Darlin'."
In response you didn't manage to say a single word.
You just watched him leave your house.
As you watched the door close, your legs betrayed you and you almost fell to the ground, but managed to hold on to the furniture.
It was impossible for you to contain your tears as they now fell like waves, your breathing became heavy and the sobs were now unbearable.
You had a terrible time that night, that week, that month, that year.
How unfortunate.
"Be careful. Hold on to the ice cream you might drop, dear."
You let out a soft sigh looking at the little girl.
Your little girl.
The little girl was full of energy, you always wondered where she could get so much energy.
You adored her with your life, thanks to her you were able to stop being stuck in that hole of hopelessness in which you were.
You really wonder what things would have been like if you hadn't had the opportunity to raise and care for this little girl.
Currently it has been 6 years since your relationship ended.
Every time you stop to remember what the first 2 years were like, a chill would run down your spine. You basically left yourself abandoned. You weren't living anymore, you just survived. Your dreams of having children faded over time, you decided to give up on that dream.
You could say that it had been a difficult year, with many ups and downs.
At the end of your second year, your friends tried to cheer you up. They tried to get involved with other people, but it was all in vain, in the end they were just people who wanted to take advantage or make use of your body.
So you also chose to stop that. In your mind, you still had hope that one day he would return. However, you saw it as impossible. Because he left, it's not like it was the first time they had disagreements or big misunderstandings.
Quite apart from that, he also noticed your actions, becoming more and more discouraged with the passage of time.
For the third year, one of your friends who worked in a hospital, told you about the most recent crisis she had attended to while she was on duty.
The mother of a girl who was about 1 year old had just died and there were no records of family connections or anything.
So the hospital staff tried to take care of the little girl as much as they could. Since they knew that child care centers were not the best at taking care of children.
You don't really remember how things happened. By the middle of the third year, you were trying to get custody of the girl.
Things turned out well for you, everything happened too fast.
You were more than dedicated to her, going to new parent courses, reading books, watching videos, among other things. It was like the world gave you another chance.
You were finishing ordering your own flavor of ice cream, holding a baby carriage with one of your hands. Yes, you also fought to get the adoption papers for the baby who was barely 9 months old.
"Mom! I dropped it!" Your little girl's small voice shouted, sounding worried and sad.
You finished asking, turning your head towards the scream, sighing and laughing softly. "Leave it there, honey. Come, I'll buy you another one."
She came running again, smiling that she would have another new ice cream.
"This is the last one I bought, be more careful this time." You spoke to her with a somewhat stern voice as you watched her jump with joy, extending her small hands towards the employee who was handing her her new ice cream.
"'Kay!" She let go quickly and ran again in the opposite direction from where you were.
You shook your head as you went back to paying for the ice cream.
The little girl left the games, moving a little away from the initial place where she was. She was a little distracted, walking while happily eating her ice cream.
In one of those, she turned her gaze, opening her small eyes in surprise, now running again in that direction.
He approached a tall man, who seemed to be in his own world at that moment.
With all the daring in the world, the little girl spoke. "You look like my daddy!"
The girl's voice caught the man's attention, looking at her with complete curiosity. "Um…" He looked up, looking around, looking for his parents.
When he didn't find anything, he got a little worried. "Where are your parents?"
The little girl was more than amazed analyzing the man. "My mommy is over there." She said, pointing in the direction she had come from.
Meanwhile, when you finished paying for the ice cream, you looked for your daughter.
Not seeing her nearby, you thought the worst, adrenaline rising through your veins little by little. You started looking for her while shouting her name out loud and asking people near the playground if they had seen her.
You were so scared that your hands were shaking, you had left your freshly bought ice cream on the store counter.
Approximately 5 or 6 minutes passed until in the distance you saw a Little girl running towards you.
A strong sense of relief filled you.
By the time she finished running, coming to stand in front of you, the first thing you did was to bend down and hug her.
“Clementine! You scared me, honey.”
The little girl slipped her arms around you, reciprocating the hug. Then, as if remembering something, she pulled away as she turned her head back.
“Look mommy, that man looks just like daddy.” She spoke, excitedly.
You looked at her in confusion, picking yourself up off the floor, grabbing the baby carriage with one hand again. You looked up, and saw who your daughter meant.
You felt as if all the air in your lungs had disappeared. Your eyes could no longer open.
Your heart was now beating painfully hard in your chest.
Why is…? How…? Is it…? Your mind was a complete chaos of thoughts, all of them racing through your mind and making it feel like it would explode. Your head feels light and you feel dizzy.
You were so shocked that you couldn't even react, not blinking again or being able to move an inch.
You couldn't take your eyes off him. He was there, standing in the distance, looking back at you.
His white hair now tied in a low ponytail. His gaze, piercing and intense, remained the same, just like your memory.
He felt so many things at once. Even how fate came to work at the perfect time for you to name your little girl that name. The same way he named his daughter.
A mixture of surprise and disbelief had taken hold of him, but his body betrayed him.
His body, without even processing in his mind what he was doing, began to approach slowly.
You seemed as if you were frozen in time, he watched you as if no time had passed. Your appearance was almost identical to how he remembered you 6 years ago. The only thing was your hair, which was now short, almost to your shoulders.
"Lil' lady."
Boothill's voice sounded in the small space, watching the young girl turn her gaze towards him.
He held out his hand in front of him, letting the little girl take his fingers. “I'm Boothill, dear. May I know what's your name?”
He introduced himself to her, since moments before he had not had the opportunity to do so.
She looked at him intrigued, squeezing the fingers that held her as she raised her face to speak.
"I'm Clementine!" She replied excitedly, raising her shoulders in an excited gesture.
Your daughter, turned her little head towards you, still holding Boothill's metal hand. "Mommy, he even has a name like daddy!"
No matter how much you tried to formulate words, nothing came out of your mouth.
The child's innocence was endearing.
He just laughed softly, a warm, somewhat nostalgic smile forming on his face. “Yeah, we got the same name.”
The fact that there was a little girl right there who was calling him "daddy" and he had no idea what was going on was a complicated situation. But, he also couldn't help but find it so cute and lovely that he couldn't stop smiling even if he wanted to.
He turned his gaze to you, taking a few seconds before speaking.
"Can we talk?" His tone had a hint of imploration.
You nodded your head weakly in response.
As you did so, you heard your daughter speak again, this time in a more shy and embarrassed manner.
"Dadd— Mr. Boothill!"
"Yes, darlin'?" He tilted his head to the side, focusing his gaze on the girl in front of him again.
"Can you hold me?"
"Clementine!" You reproached her for her question, she didn't even know Boothill well and she was already being open with him. Besides, you didn't want him to get upset about it.
He was a little surprised by such a bold and direct request, but he couldn't say no, of course.
"Hah, sure, why not?"
He had to kneel down to take her gently in his arms.
Seeing your daughter in his arms was one of the most surreal scenes you had ever experienced.
Once he picked her up, she put her arms around his neck, feeling a little safe and comfortable being held in his arms. He gave you a warm smile to reassure you so as not to make you more uneasy than you already seemed.
Although that gesture of his made you even more uneasy. You avoided his gaze, looking at your baby, who was still sleeping peacefully in the stroller.
As you started walking towards your house, you could hear how people nearby whispered as they pointed at the scene.
"He's so tall!" "What a cute girl!" "It looks like it's his dad…"
You bit your tongue lightly, trying to ignore all the sounds.
Looking at his expression, you could tell that he was confused, maybe even a little overwhelmed. The way his eyebrows knitted together and there was a slight frown on his face.
He had that same nervous look on his face as before. He was as bad at hiding his emotions as you.
You remained silent throughout the small stroll of approximately 10 minutes. You could feel his gaze on you, but you didn't dare look at him. There was no doubt that a tense aura surrounded you.
You arrived at the front of your somewhat large house. It wasn't the same one you had 6 years ago, you moved because you needed more space for your children.
You unlocked the door, and let him in, he still had Clementine in his arms as the girl had her face hidden in his neck since she had fallen asleep.
Once the door was closed, you looked at her for a moment, a soft tender look filled your features. After you finished observing her, you turned your gaze towards him.
The room had a warm and cozy atmosphere, with a pleasant temperature that made it easier to breathe.
Both you and Boothill stayed quiet for a few seconds before you spoke again.
“Can you lay her down on the couch?”
You told him as you squared your other baby's stroller. Taking him out of this and carefully taking him to his room, so that he could continue sleeping.
He obeyed your request, carefully laying her down. He took a few seconds to take a good look at the child's face.
He noticed how her small chest rose and fell steadily on the surface of the couch’s pillows, letting out small and soft sighs in the process.
By the time you returned to the living room, he was sitting on the couch, frowning a little and deep in thought.
You let out a quiet sigh, trying to mentally prepare yourself for what was coming.
You also sat on the couch, only on one that was almost in front of him.
Seeing you close to him left him breathless.
Now he was able to see you much more closely.
The same bright and unique eyes, the same small and soft lips.
The expression on your face was a mix of nervousness and discomfort.
He remained silent for a couple of seconds, still trying to process everything.
He parted his lips, finally starting to speak.
"You managed—"
"Sorry for—"
You and him literally spoke at the same time.
You immediately became silent for a moment, feeling a little nervous and embarrassed.
A small, almost unintentional chuckle escaped his lips. Despite everything, the situation was somewhat funny and entertaining.
“You go first.”
He spoke in a gentle, almost sweet voice. His gaze remained focused on yours, paying attention to your expression.
You could feel your mouth going dry, the words not wanting to come out of your throat.
You fidgeted a little, feeling somewhat guilty about what you wanted to say.
"Ah, I'm sorry…" A small gasp escaped your lips as you tried to find the right way to say it. "…for the fact that my daughter said you looked like and had the same name as her dad."
You wondered where the security had gone and the many words you had thought and even rehearsed saying to him the first time you saw him again.
“Oh, nah, that's alright."
He chuckled again, sounding somewhat calm and even amused.
Your nervousness only grew as you felt embarrassed. You thought maybe he would get mad or upset.
The room was silent again.
It went like this for a few minutes until he spoke.
"You managed to have children." He said, with some nostalgia.
"Yeah…I managed."
Your voice came out shakier than you originally planned.
You didn't want him to know how nervous you were, you didn't want him to know that your heart was racing a thousand beats a minute and that you were thinking over and over again about so many scenarios, most of them bad.
He seemed to notice your nervousness, even though you tried to hide it.
He gave a reassuring smile before continuing to speak.
"It…surprises and makes me quite happy." He admitted with sincerity.
You only chose to smile at him in response in a somewhat shy manner.
"By the way, your husband won't be upset that I'm here?" he asked.
“Upset? That's an interesting choice of word.”
A slightly sad expression appeared on your face. Your lips curved downward and your eyebrows frowned.
He had misunderstood you.
You didn't know if you should clarify his comment, if you should explain to him or if you should keep quiet.
You sighed, deciding to speak and be honest with the cowboy.
“Boothill…I don't have a husband…”
The cowboy's eyes widened at the sound of the words coming out of your mouth.
He couldn't tell if you were just kidding or if you were saying it seriously. He was really confused.
"Did you divorce?" he asked.
You shook your head. You lowered your gaze, staring at your fingers on your hands that were clasped together.
“That…” You hesitated for a few moments, searching for the right words. “That implies having been married in the first place. I was never married."
You spoke as you raised your head again, looking at him with a small smile.
"…I'm a single mom, Boothill.”
The cowboy was surprised at the news. He expected many possibilities, but he certainly hadn't thought of this one.
After letting this information sink in, he looked at you with a confused expression.
"But your daughter said I looked like her father—"
Despite all the clues you gave him to understand the situation, he still didn't reach the true conclusion.
That gave you some humor, you assumed he would be nervous.
You let out a small laugh, looking away from him for a moment.
"I adopted my two children." You said once you stopped laughing, looking at your daughter, who was still sleeping peacefully on the couch next to you.
"And…maybe I made the mistake of telling Clementine about you."
He was silent for a few moments as he continued to process the information you had just given him.
Oh.
The expression in his eyes changed from one of confusion to one of surprise.
His eyes widened and his mouth opened slightly in shock as he seemed unable to form any words.
He couldn’t help but feel a tinge of guilt and guilt at all the conclusions that passed through his mind.
“Wait…”
A few uncomfortable seconds passed before he continued. "Why do you say that?"
"Uhm…" You also took care to organize your words, so that they were direct.
And, before you could answer him, your baby, who was sleeping in his room, started crying. Probably because it was time for him to eat.
You quickly got up from the couch, smiling apologetically at him as you left the living room to enter your other son's room.
He watched as you ran into the room.
The cowboy was so distracted with the news you had told him before leaving that he couldn’t help but hear the whole exchange that was going on in the room next door.
Your voice was low and gentle, almost singing to soothe the baby’s cries.
It was like a rollercoaster of emotions.
He leaned back against the backrest of the couch, covering his face with his free hand.
He had to digest all that had happened.
Not only did you manage to have children, but you never married and on top of that you got custody of two children that you did not give birth to.
After a few minutes, you were able to finish feeding your little baby.
The crying had stopped, leaving him in a calm state.
You were able to leave the baby's room once again. Only this time with your son in your arms since he didn't want to sleep again.
As soon as you reentered the room and saw the cowboy’s position, you laughed internally, letting out a soft sigh.
You sat on the couch, but this time next to him. Placing the baby in your legs.
"Sorry for the delay."
You stayed quiet for a while, watching as your son grabbed your fingers and played with them.
"When she was younger she found a photo of both of us. And well…I had to tell her about the relationship we had." You sounded a little embarrassed, however you were no longer nervous, on the contrary, you were calm.
He dropped his hand from his face and turned to look at you, but you continued to look down at your baby.
He listened to your words for a few seconds, now putting his hand on his chin, pondering the new information you had given him.
"And she thought I was…?"
He wasn’t quite sure how to say it without being too frank, but you had a small smile on your lips, guessing what his words would be.
You nodded your head, looking up at his face and watching his expression change.
His initial surprise soon turned into something else.
Your little girl believed and thought that a cowboy like him was her father.
How cute.
You still remember when you had to tell him about your past relationship. Your daughter was barely 2 years old when she found letters and a photo. Specifically from you and Boothill.
Before her gaze full of curiosity and many questions she asked you, you were transparent with her and told her about what your relationship with him was like.
That afternoon, she began referring to him as her dad.
You, who couldn't imagine that in perhaps other circumstances you could have considered starting a family with him, you let him call him that.
Telling him more things about him, that he didn't always stop on your planet, etc.
You allowed yourself to remember him that way, since over time you managed to stick to his words; "I'm not going to come back."
The room fell silent. Your gaze focused on the baby in your legs, as he held onto your fingers, his gaze locked on Boothill.
"I assumed you would never come back so I let Clementine continue calling you that." Your voice sounded somewhat bitter as you spoke.
He remained silent for a few moments before a small laugh escaped his mouth.
"That explains why she said I looked like her dad." His own words had made it all make sense to him at that moment.
"Yeah…"
You both remained in front of the other in an awkward silence, you didn't really know how to continue the conversation.
Your daughter's words kept replaying in your mind.
“You look like my daddy! “ She said it was as if no time had passed. In your head you couldn't help but think that it felt like 6 years ago, it felt like the first time you met him…
You were so immersed in your thoughts that you felt a shiver run down your spine.
His eyes, watching you so intensely, felt like they were burning you from within.
“Why didn't you get a partner?…” he dared to ask, in a tone of voice you couldn't identify this time.
You didn't expect that question.
"Uh…"
It was the only thing you could articulate, since once again you were at a loss for words.
You avoided his gaze a bit, looking at a random spot on the floor. You didn't know how to answer that, or rather… you didn't know if you wanted to answer.
When you didn't answer, Boothill thought you didn't want to talk to him. He understood he was probably overstepping a line.
"It's okay, you don't have to—"
But he was interrupted by your voice, after finally finding the words that were lost inside your mind.
“Because I was waiting for you." Your voice came out slow. Fragile as a whisper.
You had been waiting for it. Past time.
Again you avoided looking directly at him but you could practically feel his stunned gaze on you.
He hadn't expected that answer. Instead he had expected many excuses.
'I'm not interested in a relationship.' 'I focus on my children and myself.' 'I never found the right person.'
Anything, anything. But not that.
She waited for me…? He thought.
He continued to analyze you with a stunned expression, seeing the state you were in, and then a pang of regret hit him.
He wanted to say many things. He wanted to apologize.
But his own words felt caught in his throat. His mouth parted open a little, but he couldn't say anything. His mind went totally blank.
Faced with his other lack of speech, you chose to go straight to the point this time.
"Why did you come back?" Bitterness and nostalgia.
"…What do you want of me?" Frustration and sorrow.
Those were your emotions that predominated in you at that moment.
What were you looking for? Did he want to leave you in ruins again? You didn't want to feel vulnerable again. Even though now you're feeling that way again.
Those words hit him like a punch in the face.
The frustration and sadness in your voice only made him feel worse about himself, his guilt increased as every word left your mouth.
He couldn't find the words he wanted to say. His mind was a mess, and every time he tried to start speaking. Only some incoherent sounds came out of his mouth. He tried to speak, but his words died in his throat.
His eyes watched you desperately, not knowing what to say. He felt how in those moments he had become a total idiot. A completely lost man.
"I wanted to see if you were okay." His voice also sounded like a whisper, calmly.
Your words sounded almost like reproaches, which they truly were.
There were so many things you wanted to tell him, so many questions that you wanted answered but you were holding back. You just couldn't find the words as well.
"I…" He started again, with difficulty.
"I never forgot about you."
At his words, you couldn't help but frown.
"Forget…?"
You were now even more frustrated. Frustrated with him, and even more frustrated with yourself for still feeling this way about him.
"It is unfair." you said, your eyes now filling with tears, you were holding back the urge to let your feelings out.
"After being gone for 6 damn years, you come back and tell me that?…" You refused to look at him, because if you did, everything you had been ignoring, your feelings and sorrows, were coming to the surface.
"It's too unfair…" You felt your vision now blurry and the salty taste of your tears on your lips, which simply came out without delay.
Your baby, who had stopped seeing Boothill, was looking at you, as if sensing your discomfort, grabbing your fingers with his small hands, bringing them to his small face.
The cowboy was beginning to understand your frustration, he was frustrated himself, he felt guilty that after so much time he was back in your life, and that you had to cry because of him.
He could say that you looked more vulnerable than he remembered, with your body shaking as you cried and your voice breaking and filling with frustration, despair and sadness.
You couldn't stop the tears from coming out like a waterfall.
You felt a lump in your throat as you tried to keep yourself from sobbing as much.
Each time you inhaled to take a breath, your exhale became a small broken sob.
You never thought that the reunion would be like this. When you dreamed of his return, it was always a happy dream, a warm and emotional reunion.
But it wasn't, it was the opposite.
The last time he saw you, you were crying, and now that he saw you again, you were crying again.
He brought his hand to you, trying to wipe the tears that were now freely falling from your eyes.
His touch alone sent a small shiver through your body.
You moved backwards away from the touch, shaking your head as if telling him not to do that.
His touch brought you too many memories that you'd tried to bury for a long time.
It made you miss him even more, miss the good times you had when it was just the two of you.
That simple thought caused another sob that escaped from your lips. The tears continued uninterruptedly.
"Please no."
He wanted to hold you, embrace you tightly, wipe away your tears and tell you that he wouldn't leave you again, never again.
But just a minute ago you had tried to keep away from his touch, so the only thing he could do at the moment was to keep his hands to himself.
Seeing you in this state, crying bitterly and being speechless and motionless, made him not want to move from his place. As much as he wanted desperately to hold you, he just stayed there, watching.
"Darlin', I-" He spoke, being totally interrupted by your daughter, who had just woken up.
His words echoed within you, calling you darlin'…
"Mommy? Why are you crying?"
Her small voice cut through the tense, silent atmosphere of the room. Like an oasis in the middle of the desert.
You were surprised, since you hadn't even realized that your baby had woken up, probably because of your small cries.
You turned your head quickly, looking at her as she rubbed her eyes, trying to wake up properly.
You wanted to speak, but all the words seemed to have escaped your brain. The only thing that came out of your mouth was a strangled sigh, trying to calm yourself as you wiped away the tears that continued to fall.
Until you finally managed to answer her, "I'm fine love, don't worry.", with a small, forced smile. Trying to convince her that you were fine, even though your face was red and tearful.
With one hand free, you managed to run your hand over your face, wiping away the traces of tears.
Your little girl's face was troubled as she looked at you.
You let out a sigh, asking her to come closer.
She did and you brushed a small unruly strand of her hair behind her ear.
“Honey, can you take your little brother to your room with you?” your voice to her was always sweet and soft.
“'kay, mommy.”
Despite your still teary eyes, you laughed softly at your daughter's obedience. “What a good girl.” You said in a whisper.
Just as you said, she carefully picked up the baby in your arms and walked with slow steps to her room.
Once she disappeared after closing the door to her room, you covered your mouth with your hand, in an attempt to stop the sobs that arose.
You felt his gaze on you at all times, which made your eyes sting even more. Maybe you should have refused his proposal to talk.
“Please.” At first his voice faltered a bit, being more of a whisper. Almost afraid of being expelled from his mouth.
Suddenly you felt the couch move quickly. By the time you realized it, he was already holding your face.
The metal of his hands made the heat in your cheeks from crying cool down.
With an undaunted look, he spoke again, “Please…”
Oh, if he had a way to cry, he'd be doing it right now.
“…give me 6 more years.” Even though he couldn't feel the warmth emanating from your cheeks, its softness that he only felt when your face and his face collided. He wanted you to feel his touch, soft and caring, like a piece of porcelain.
You stood still, not struggling to release his grip, your eyes focused on his.
He knew he didn't even deserve to make a request, but he wanted to try anyway.
“Give me those years you lost to try to make up for.” Just by looking at him, you could sense that he himself was two words, “please” and “sorry”.
You were terrified by his proposal, you were afraid that a similar situation would happen again. Your brain did its best to reason, while your heart gave itself totally to him, to accept his proposal.
Your mouth opened slightly, looking for words to come out, but nothing came out. Not even sobs. The only ones that came out were tears.
He didn't stop talking, he was letting the feeling that was eating him up inside take over him. “And… if in that time I don't make up for how bad you felt, I'll stop trying.”
He felt like a dog with its tail between its legs. Begging, but in a way more shameful. He was putting his pride aside by giving you this proposal.
And yes, he himself believed that only 6 years was not enough time to be able to ask for forgiveness in appropriate ways.
Your shoulders moved involuntarily and you finally started sobbing again. Even though you wanted to yell at him like you had done in the past on some occasion, you were too overwhelmed to even do that right now.
His words affected you more than you expected.
As much as you struggled to hold on to reasons, your heart longed for his presence every day for the last 6 years.
All the suffering you felt, the tears you shed, and the times you wondered what your relationship was worth to him.
It was painful. Thinking of all those things made your chest ache.
Even in such a delicate conversation, he did not release your face, still holding it tightly in his hands.
He gently wiped away your tears with his thumb for a few minutes, as if he were cleaning a mirror, which was useless and ridiculous, but he didn't care. He hoped to at least make you comfortable. He could tell how hurt you were from the tears, and it shattered his heart into pieces, leaving no trace behind.
He was scared. He was scared that you didn't want him again like before. And he understood you if you didn't.
“Let me try, please.”
You could see a deep regret in his eyes as he caressed your cheeks.
Those feelings.
You closed your eyes tightly, trying to avoid seeing that look on him.
You couldn't think, not when he was touching you that way.
His touch, a feeling that you thought you would feel no more.
You felt your heart contract at his words, his proposal echoed in your mind, repeating itself continuously.
Despite the fact that you didn't give him a direct answer, you made him close his mouth, pressing your body against his.
You really longed for it for so long.
You still weren't entirely sure if his proposal would work, but it was at least worth letting him try. Who knows how things would turn out this time.
He didn't expect your reaction, but when your body was pushed against his, his chest felt so full. He reciprocated quickly, wrapping his arms around you tightly.
He felt like he had you all to himself again. It filled him in a way he couldn't describe.
He closed his eyes gently, burying his face in your neck. The scent of you still hadn't changed, it still felt the same.
He let out a shaky breath, his arms not loosening their grip on you.
Now it only depended on time for things to get better. Time and him.
Maybe he could even really become the father of your little ones. Who knows.
How unfortunate he felt.

Through sickness and health
The rain tapped softly against the window, a gentle reminder of the cool October weather outside. Y/N was curled up on the couch, bundled in blankets, clutching a tissue in her hand. Her nose had been running for hours, and her throat felt scratchy. But George was due back from the gym soon, and the last thing she wanted was for him to know she was feeling under the weather. Not because he wouldn't care—quite the opposite—but because she didn't want to worry him. He was in the middle of a busy F1 season, and the last thing he needed was to fuss over her.
As the front door creaked open, Y/N quickly wiped her nose, trying her best to put on a normal face. George walked in, his gym bag slung over one shoulder, a beaming smile lighting up his face as he caught sight of her.
“Hey, love!” he greeted, dropping his bag by the door. He came over, leaning down to kiss her forehead gently. As soon as his lips touched her skin, though, he paused, frowning slightly. “You feel a little warm.”
Y/N stiffened, inwardly cursing her body for betraying her. “No, no, I'm fine,” she said quickly, waving it off. “Just cozy under the blankets. It's chilly today.”
George raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. “Is that so?” he asked, his tone playful but with a hint of concern. “You sure you're not hiding something from me?”
She shook her head, avoiding his eyes. “I’m fine, George. Just tired.”
George studied her for a moment, then sighed, sitting down beside her. “Y/N, you know you don’t have to hide when you’re not feeling well, right? I can tell something’s off.”
“I’m not hiding anything,” she insisted, sniffling slightly, which only made her claim less believable.
George didn’t say anything for a moment. Instead, he reached out, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. His touch was gentle, and the warmth of his hand felt soothing. “Love,” he said softly, “you’re the worst liar I know.”
Y/N tried to hold out, tried to keep up her act, but the gentle way he was looking at her, the concern in his eyes, made her resolve crumble. She let out a long sigh, her shoulders slumping.
“Okay, fine,” she admitted, her voice coming out quieter than before. “I think I might be coming down with something. But I didn’t want to worry you.”
George’s expression softened even more, if that was possible. “Y/N, you don’t have to worry about that. If you’re sick, I’m going to take care of you. That’s non-negotiable.” He tilted her chin up so she was looking directly into his eyes. “I love you, and I want to make sure you feel better. Let me take care of you.”
His words sent a warm, comforting feeling through her chest, and she nodded slowly, finally giving in. “Okay,” she whispered.
A grin spread across George’s face, and he pressed a kiss to her forehead again, this time lingering there for a moment. “That’s my girl.”
He stood up and immediately began moving around the living room, gathering her used tissues and tidying up the area. “Right,” he said, more to himself than to her, “first things first, I’ll make you some soup.”
“You don’t have to—” Y/N started, but George gave her a mock stern look, and she quickly fell silent, smiling despite herself.
“I said it’s non-negotiable,” he reminded her with a wink before disappearing into the kitchen.
From the couch, Y/N could hear him moving about, the clatter of pots and pans, and the occasional hum as he worked. The comforting smell of chicken soup soon filled the air, and she found herself feeling a little better already, just knowing George was there.
A few minutes later, he reappeared with a steaming bowl of soup in hand. “Homemade chicken soup, doctor’s orders,” he said proudly, setting the bowl on the coffee table. He helped her sit up a little, fluffing the pillows behind her before handing her the spoon.
Y/N smiled up at him. “You’re too good to me.”
“I’m just getting started,” George teased, sitting down beside her as she took her first spoonful. “After you finish that, I’m going to help you clean up, change the sheets, and then we’re going to watch some movies. How does that sound?”
She gave him a grateful smile, her heart swelling at how sweet he was being. “That sounds perfect.”
George grinned and leaned over to kiss her temple. “Good. I’ll take care of everything.”
After Y/N finished the soup, true to his word, George whisked her bowl away and returned a few minutes later with fresh sheets and a determined look in his eyes. He pulled her off the couch gently, guiding her to the bedroom. “Right, let’s get you into bed,” he said.
Y/N let out a tired laugh. “George, I can change the sheets myself.”
“Not today, you can’t,” he replied, shaking his head as he carefully stripped the bed and replaced the linens. “You’re on bed rest. Doctor’s orders.”
She rolled her eyes but couldn’t help but feel her heart flutter at how seriously he was taking all of this. Once the bed was freshly made, George helped her climb in, tucking her under the covers with a soft kiss on her cheek.
“Comfy?” he asked, brushing his hand over her hair.
“Very,” she murmured, already feeling more relaxed than she had all day.
“Good,” George said. He grabbed the TV remote and settled in beside her, pulling her close to his chest. “Now, movie time. Anything you want.”
Y/N smiled against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. “You pick. I don’t really care what we watch.”
He chuckled softly. “Alright, how about something comforting? ‘The Princess Bride’?”
“That’s perfect,” she murmured, her eyes already feeling heavy.
As the movie started, George kept one arm wrapped securely around her while his other hand absentmindedly played with her hair. Y/N nuzzled closer into him, her head resting on his chest, and her body immediately relaxed into the warmth of his embrace.
“Thank you,” she whispered, feeling a wave of gratitude for him. “For everything.”
George kissed the top of her head softly. “There’s no need to thank me, love. I’d do anything for you.”
For the rest of the afternoon, they stayed like that, tangled in each other’s arms as the movie played in the background. Every so often, George would glance down at her, smiling softly as he watched her slowly drift off to sleep.
“Sweet dreams,” he whispered, pressing another gentle kiss to her hair, holding her a little tighter. “I’ll be right here when you wake up.”
And with that, Y/N let herself fully relax, knowing she was in the best possible hands.

Just read the museum marquis fic and I love it. I wonder what would a fanfic where the marquis de gramont met a ballerina reader?
Poetry in Motion
Pairing: Marquis de Gramont x fem! Reader
Warnings: mild language
Summary: A tall and handsome man has been watching you preform for a while. What will happen when he finally chooses to introduce himself?
Word Count: 2.5k
I got multiple reqs for this! So, here ya go! Enjoy!
“You’re late Y/N!”
I dashed into the locker room, tossing my bag atop the dressing room counter.
“I know! I know! I’m really sorry! My apartment door wouldn’t lock and there was traffic and then-”
My director held up a hand, silencing me.
“I don’t care. Please-just, be ready to go by showtime.”
I nodded vigorously.
“Yes, yes, of course. I will be ready, I promise.”
She quickly turned on her heels and began walking in the opposite direction. Her blue dress swayed gently as the dancers rushed around her. Her spine was straight, her posture rigid.
I don’t blame her. I'm just as nervous as everyone else to see how this performance goes. Unfortunately, I'm a dancer, so rigid posture isn't ideal. I'm forced to keep my anxiety bottled up inside my head.
“Y/N.”
My friend called my name, jolting me from my trance. She was fully dressed, with a full face of makeup. She stared at me, completely stunned.
“Y/N, you better hurry! Everyone else is ready to go!”
I moved rapidly, quickly opening my makeup bag, praying I had enough time.
“What took you so long?”
I slapped my palms against the table, annoyed.
“Oh, Clara, it’s been such an aggravating day.”
I stared at my reflection, watching as the foundation completely coated my face.
“Do tell.”
I took out my eye makeup.
“Well, first my apartment wouldn’t lock.”
I closed one eye and applied eyeshadow as quickly as I could.
“My key wouldn’t work! And of course I couldn’t just leave my apartment unlocked so I had to bother my neighbor to get the spare key I gave her.”
I moved on to the other eye.
“Then there was so much traffic. Then I couldn’t find a good parking spot because I got here so late. Then I had to walk almost six blocks.”
My eye makeup looked... alright. Sure, if I had an extra hour, I could make it look fantastic. But, due to my unfortunate situation, I had to settle for average.
“Wow girl, that’s rough. I’m sorry.”
I pulled out my blush.
“Well, if it makes you feel any better, I think that cute guy will be here tonight.”
I scoffed loudly.
“He’s always here. If he goes four days without seeing a ballet, just assume he’s dead.”
Oh my goodness, that blush color was really clashing with my eyeshadow. Shit! I didn't have time to remove it and start over. Perhaps I could just add another color to my eyes, creating a strange hybrid color that would blend well with the blush.
“I don’t know Y/N. I’ve been here longer than you, and he only started going regularly once you got here.”
I rolled my eyes.
“Yeah, right. It’s probably just a coincidence. I doubt he’d spend a shit ton of money on fancy ballet tickets just to see some pretty girl dance.”
I watched Clara shrug from the corner of my eye.
“I dunno. He always dresses like he’s ready to meet the queen, and he sits in a box. He doesn’t seem short on funds. He definitely could be the type to buy ballet tickets just to admire you.”
Okay, the blush and eyeshadow looked fine. I could handle "fine." I could work with "fine.”
“I don’t know Clara. You know, when you watch a performance, faces and names blend together because there are so many people on stage. I doubt he picked me out of the crowd and decided I was going to become the object of his affection.”
I put on some red lipstick, trying not to be distracted by the fact that all the dancers I saw in the mirror were fully prepared.
“Besides, a handsome man like that?... he probably has a girlfriend.”
Clara perked up.
“Oh, so you admit you think he’s handsome.”
I rolled my eyes for a second time.
“I mean, come on Clara, look at him!”
Clara let out a loud and obnoxious laugh. My face turned hot. Thankfully, the makeup covered most of the natural pink that had begun to appear on my cheeks.
“Oh my God you have a little crush on him, don’t you!”
I held up my hands in defense.
“I am not having this conversation right now!”
I stood, rushing over to the costume rack.
“I’ve never seen him with a girl Y/N! I think he’s single and ready to mingle!”
Clara’s loud voice drew some attention. I swiveled on my heels and placed a finger to my lips.
“Sh!”
-
The show was finished, and the final bows were taken.
The roar of the crowd washed over me like a wave. I was moved to know that they were all applauding for this performance. As the entire company gathered for one final bow, I observed the crowd's faces contort into bright smiles. I felt moved knowing that at least one person in the audience was thinking about what a wonderful job I did tonight.
I hoped it was the man whose appearance I had grown accustomed to over the past few weeks.
The gold theater sparkled. The red seats gradually vanished as people rose to pay their respects to the performers.
I was unable to avoid glancing around at the various people in the crowd. I started in the box seats, hoping to spot a tall man with a penchant for fashion.
No luck.
My gaze was drawn to the floor seats. I scanned them all as quickly as I could. Maybe he sat closer? If he truly came to see me, it wouldn't hurt to get the best view possible in the front row.
No luck.
I'm not sure why I was so desperate for him to be here. Nonetheless, I felt my heart sink slightly as I considered the possibility that he missed tonight's performance.
We finished with a company bow. We waved goodbye, and quickly scattered off the stage.
“Y/N!”
Clara exclaimed as we walked back to the dressing rooms.
“You did so well! Jesus, I thought for sure you’d be all scattered from coming in late, but you really pulled it off well!”
I didn't notice her hands cutting through the air as she spoke. I didn't even bother looking at her. I kept my head down, stuffing various cosmetics into my black backpack.
“Thanks Clara.”
I said flatly.
“Alright, what’s going on? Who’s got you bummed?”
I grit my teeth.
“He’s not here tonight.”
Clara leaned in.
“What did you say?”
“I said he’s not here tonight!”
I snapped involuntarily. Clara retreated.
“Woah woah, how do you know this?”
“I didn’t see him in the crowd.”
Clara furrowed her brow.
“Come on Y/N, there’s thousands of people in that crowd! There’s no way you could’ve checked every seat for him!”
My lips were pursed. Clara wrapped her hands around my shoulders, soothing me. She leaned into my ear, lowering her voice to a whisper.
“I bet he showed up tonight. And if he didn’t, it was his loss entirely.”
-
The cold Paris air bit at my exposed skin. The chill penetrated my tank top, chilling me to the bone. I drew the sides of my peacoat together, attempting to conceal my torso and thighs from the wind.
I began to stroll, trying to enjoy the lovely Paris evening despite the fact that so much was less than ideal.
After about thirty paces, I was struck by an uneasy sense that someone was watching me. I initially ignored it. There were numerous high-rise apartment buildings. I'm sure that feeling came from being a window away from someone's living space, and the possibility that someone was watching me inadvertently.
I couldn't shake the feeling even after another thirty paces. The buildings in this particular neighborhood were completely dark. That is, everyone was sleeping, and if anyone was watching me, it probably would go unnoticed by bystanders.
I took a peek over my shoulder to ensure my intuition was correct.
About thirty feet behind me was a tall, lanky man in a black coat.
Alright, probably just a coincidence-
Wait.
I did a double take.
Holy shit.
It was the guy from the ballet!
This all is just one big coincidence.
I kept my head down, trying to maintain my composure.
His footsteps became audible. I focused on them, noticing that they were becoming slightly louder with every step.
Shit.
Shit!
God, this guy is a total creep! How could I be so stupid?!
I’m about to get totally kidnapped!
I started to move faster, trying to appear calm despite being aware that my heart was pounding in my ears. My blood rushed to my heart, leaving my face pale and cold.
God, he’s getting closer!
Jesus my stomach is in knots!
“Don’t look so frightened, darling.”
The man’s velvety accent pierced the air like a knife. My heart jumped.
I’m fucked.
“Really, I just want to talk with you.”
No way in hell was I stopping. My calves burned. My eyes were wide. My hands trembled within my pockets.
My chest came into contact with something solid. I stumbled back, looking up.
Oh my goodness, he was right in front of me.
How did he get there without me hearing?
The heat left my body.
I stood, wide eyed and perplexed.
The man's neutral gaze softened as he noticed my anxiety.
“I am very sorry to have frightened you, madame. I am simply a fan wishing to pay my respects.”
He placed a hand on his chest.
“I promise, I mean no harm. There is no reason to be frightened.”
He was considerably taller than me. In two seconds, he could pick me up and throw me into the back of a shady white van.
Nonetheless, his luxurious accent and courteous eyes made me believe he was telling the truth. So I allowed myself to relax ever so slightly.
“Did you come and see the show tonight?”
A smirk played on the corners of his lips.
“But of course. It would be foolish of me to disregard the opportunity to observe such talent.”
Wow, I'm going to give credit where credit is due. He’s a smooth talker. He speaks with such elegance. I'm unable to ignore his words. With bated breath, I await each sentence.
“Well, that is very kind of you to say.”
He slipped his hands into the pockets of his black overcoat, shrugging nonchalantly.
“I only convey the complete truth. In my lifetime, I have seen hundreds of ballets, operas, and plays. It is uncommon to find such a passion for the arts in the hearts of the prefromers. Few people allow creativity to encompass every aspect of them. But, I have noticed fire within you.”
He glanced deeply into my eyes, as if he wanted to capture some of the "fire" within me and preserve it for himself.
“I can tell by the way you dance and command the stage.”
The gentle breeze rustled the end of his overcoat as his pale eyes shone in the pale moonlight. He exuded a sense of mystery that beckoned me to embrace the unknown.
“Your blood runs red with creativity.”
He came to a halt, his piercing gaze catching my lips before darting back to my eyes.
“And, your beauty is unmatched.”
Forget about my face being cold; it was now scorching hot. I just hope I kept enough blush on my cheeks to hide the natural pink.
He extends his leg, the buckle of his pricey loafer catching the moonlight. He steps closer, the wonderful aroma of whiskey and bergamot wafting into my nose. The scent cloud muffles my brain, making me dizzy with anticipation.
“How long have you been dancing for?”
I raise my eyebrows.
“Oh, well, my entire life. I started the moment I could walk and I’ve pretty much been in the dance studio everyday since.”
The enigmatic man nodded, pleased with my response. I took my hands from my pockets, as they were sweating despite the chill.
“And… Do you enjoy it?”
I nodded vigorously.
“Yes, I remember, um-.”
I took a deep breath, careful not to trip over my words and reveal that my heart was racing.
“I remember my first official dance class. I was- about four or five.”
I swallowed, a lump forming in my throat.
“All the kids were complaining. I mean, y’know, at that age it basically is just an excuse for the parents to get their obnoxious kids out of the house.”
He chuckled.
Yes!
“But I never complained, not once. I loved it from the start. And, it’s completely consumed my life since then.”
He took another step forward. The distance between us was almost non-existent now. To meet his gaze, I had to almost completely crane my neck back.
“I can tell. You don’t just dance, you float over the stage. It really is beautiful to watch.”
His voice dropped to a sultry whisper.
“You are beautiful to watch.”
My stomach flipped.
My breath caught in my throat as he cupped my face with his hand. His grip was gentle, as if he were coddling a baby bird.
My mind was empty, a void waiting to be filled by him.
He exhaled deeply, a breath fanning over my face. I instinctively leaned into him, craving his warmth, craving his scent, craving…
Him.
He ran his calloused thumb along my cheekbone. My face was burning. I knew he could feel it beneath his palm.
He grinned.
“You have a very bright future in the arts. Paris is only the beginning.”
I could sense the tension rising. I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for something magnificent to unfold.
A hug?
A proclamation of love?
A kiss?
“I hope and pray that you will allow me to be an integral component of your bright future.”
He slipped something into my empty pocket sneakily. He smiled broadly. My heart skipped a beat. His smile was enticing, so simple yet so effective.
“Call me, Ma chère.”
He took a step back, turned, and began to stroll away. My shoulders loosened. My chest gave way. My cheeks had lost their warmth. The tension had been released.
I could breathe.
I could think.
“Wait!”
I shouted. He glanced over his shoulder.
His figure looked very intriguing. Most of his ridges and curves were hidden by his long coat. It enticed one to venture into uncharted territories.
“What’s your name?”
He scoffed.
“When you call, I will tell you.”

“you are one lucky fucking bastard sungchan i swear.” he came down the stairs to his friends staring out his window into his backyard.
“what are you talking abo…” he trailed off. “is she out there again?” he sighed. “bro she does this often?” shotaro slapped wonbins shoulder. “bro , i told you we should come over often.” sungchan scoffed; even though his eyes copied theirs and they now were all staring out the huge back door window— where you were sitting by the pool that left nothing to the imagination. “this makes me want to kill your dad for some reason.”
sohees words shook him right out of his thoughts. “stop looking.” he said , closing the curtains, making his friends groan. “now why would you do that?” eunseok asked. “cause of my dad comes home and finds you oogling his fucking girlfriend, he's gonna kick you out and give me shit for it.” he said. “and that's the last thing i need.”
“how’d your dad bag a hottie like that?” seunghan asked the question that he wondered everyday. “she's young and hot and your dad is well old and a little funny looking if you ask me.” wonbin said. “money obviously, it's the only thing he has going for him.” he said. “his attitude is shit, he treats her like shit; parades her around like a prize winning puppy and then leaves her here for me to take care of.” he said. “seems like you're living the dream, why are you upset?”
“what do you mean living the dream?” he questioned his friend. “you mean to tell me you never made a move on her?” shotaro asked surprised. “no.” his friends were shocked. “you, jung sungchan never tried to fuck her?” he was confused. “and risk her telling my dad? he'd have my fucking neck.” he said. “look at that.” eunseok was peeking through the curtains, you were floating around on the floaty, reading a book. “fuck, it would be a risk i’m willing to take.”
you finished your book for the day, floating back to the side of the pool, climbing out. you gathered everything you had out there, wrapping your body in your robe, making your way to the house.
“oh hi yn.” anton was the first to notice you. “hi.” you smiled, sungchan watching the guys look at you; with the look in their eyes, the same look they gave girls in the club or at school, and it pissed him off. “already all of you time to go.” he pushed them out. “you have your owns and families to terrorize, leave now.” they all groaned, you laughed watch as the boy pushed them right out the front door. “bye yn!”
the door closed, and you began to make your way up the steps. “you need to stop dressing like that when the boys are over, i told you this already.” he said. “but i covered this time.” you said, he looked at your pathetic excuse of a cover up, he could still see your pink bathing suit that did a piss poor job at covering your tits. “look when they look at you they don't see the girl dating my dad.” he said. “they see the girl their age lounging around half naked by the pool , and that makes their brains go haywire.” he said. “oh right.”
“im sorry.” you frowned, he felt bad, you were constantly being scolded by his dad, he didn't want to be the one either. “look, it's fine.” he sighed. “just put on a bathing suit that covers your boobs at least next time , go out some clothes on and i’ll order some dinner.” you nodded , walking up the steps, he let out a little smile as he watched you bounce up the steps.
“do you know when your dad will be back?” you picked at the food he put on your food. ‘probably screwing the next young girl’ he thought. “he said he would be on a work trip for a little longer.” he said, you sighed. “you think he's cheating on me?”
did you really care for his dad? “i don't know.” he said. “I know you probably think i'm with him for the money, but i really do like him.” you said. “well i did.” his ears perked up. “did?” he said. “he's so mean now, yelling at me, pushing me around only using me when he needs to save face.” you frowned, tears streaming down your face. “and then shoving his card in my face to shut me up, i feel like a live in prostitute.”
“why won't you leave them?” he asked, reaching over to wipe your face, your eyes widened at the sudden affection. “because i think maybe one day he'll change.” you said. “but i don't think it will, will it?” he didn't know what to say. “im sorry yn.” you shook your head. “no it's not your fault.” you stood up from the table. “he's the evil, not you.” you smiled sadly. “maybe it would've been better if i just dated you instead.”
that stayed in his head all night as he made his way to his room; leaving the plates for the cleaners to clean. “yn?” he knocked on the bedroom door you shared with his dad, but he didn't get an answer, he slowly opened the door, your sleeping body laid peacefully. he was about to close the door when you turned on your side , facing him, still sleeping; but the covers had fallen off of you, revealing your body; you were wearing nothing but thin tank top and some panties; he knew it was weird, but you did look so pretty.
you let out a huff of air, he quickly shut the door, sighing, making his way back to his room, closing the door. “shit.” he sat on his bed; hands in his head, his head spinning with his newest revelation, and his newest visual of you— his cock stirring in his shorts, he took his shirt off the heat radiating from his body being too much.
he laid in bed , his head against the headboard as his hands traveled down his chest , down to his shorts, he groaned as he began to palm himself. “fuck.” he cursed, pulling himself from his shorts , his cock bobbing against his stomach.
he held his hard cock in his hand, squeezing the base of his length, biting his lip as he stroked his cock up and down, his tip leaking with precum he used to wet his cock. “oh fuck.” he moaned; his thoughts going straight to you in your bathing suit, you looked so hot; he hated he had to scold you for wearing it.
his hips snapping up into his hand; squeezing his balls, as he worked himself towards his orgasm. he couldn't help it, all he could do was think about you, your lips, your body, your smile; god your smile turned him on so much, he wondered how your mouth would feel stuff full of his cock. “oh fuck yn.” he moaned out your name, his length twitching in his hand. “fuck im gonna cum.” he threw his head back as the cum shot out from his cock , hitting his chest , covering his hand.
he let his flaccid cock sit on his stomach as he came down from his high, the post nut clarity hitting; this was gonna be last time you ever jerked off to the fleeting thoughts of you; he was going turn the thoughts about fucking you into a reality; he was gonna make sure you never cried about his dumbass dad… he was gonna take you away from him.
you woke up the next morning; head hurting from crying, getting dressed for the day, before making your way downstairs, where people were rushing back and forth, which only meant one thing, he was back. “where is she?”
you walked into the kitchen. “there she is sir.” his assistant pointed to you. “is this what you do everyday sleeping in?” you sighed. “well you don't let me go to school, what else am i supposed to do?” you never talked back, afraid of what he might do. “and what would a pretty dumb thing like you do in school?”
“god dad you really know how to show your love.” sungchan came into the kitchen; he was shirtless, his abs on display, they were so much better to look at than your boyfriend's alcoholic belly. “good morning.” he smiled at you, which came to a surprise since you often never saw a smile from him unless his friends were over. “m-morning.”
“i told you about dressing appropriately while he was here.” he grabbed your arm , pulling you close to him, gritting through his teeth. “i-i just woke up, he normally doesn't get up this early.” you stuttered , sungchan watching it go down angrily. “you're such an embarrassment.” he shoved you away, taking his card out his wallet and throwing it on the table. “go get a new wardrobe.” he said, his assistant coming in. “where are you going?” you asked. “to make money so the both of you can lay around and spend it.”
“sir we have to go.” he rushed out, his team following behind him; not even muttering a goodbye or even a i love you. “you okay?” sungchan came up from behind, wrapping a comforting arm around you. “ye-yeah i'm fine.” you could feel his warm skin on yours. “what about you, you okay?” he scoffed. “please I've been called a lazy bum by that man since 4th grade.” he flagged it off. “doesn't make it right.” he watched you open the fridge grabbing a water bottle. you were right, that's why he was gonna fix it. “I'm gonna go get dressed.” you said , leaving the card. “what about this?”
“i don't want his money.” you said, he picked up the card. “i say we take it and spend as much money as the bank allows.” he smirked. “you deserve it after the shit he puts you through.” you thought about it, you did deserve it, you were tired of putting up with his shit. “let's go.” he chuckled, shaking his head as you excitedly ran up the stairs.
and spend his money you both did, both of you going into multiple different stores just buying anything your hearts wanted; even going as far as to buy things just because you picked it up; it was fun, sungchan was fun to be around actually, and not the little ingrate his father made him out to be. half way through your trip, you actually began to think again— what would've happened if you did end up dating him and not his dad?
you dropped the bags on the floor of the house , sungchan holding at least twenty on his arms, that didn't even count the ones in his car. “did we over do it?” you bit your lip nervously. “he's gonna be so mad.” he scoffed. “nothing compared to what im about to do with my online purchases.” you laughed. “we can have someone bring these to your room, go ahead and shower whatever and i’ll order dinner, steak?” you squint your eyes in suspicion. “you don't eat steak on a random sunday.” he smiled. “you ever seen how expensive they are?” you shook your head, making your way up the stairs— his mind was made up, he was doing this tonight.
“let's watch a movie.” he said after dinner. “me and you?” you questioned. “yeah, you wanna?” you nodded. “yes.” he smiled. “good, let's go.”
he guided you to the living room; you sat on the big couch, he sat directly next to you, knees touching. “what do you want to watch?” you shrugged. “anything is fine.” you replied. “you got a favorite movie?” you nodded. “i love the princess diaries.” he stared blankly. “we don't have to watch it.” he shook his head. “no I asked, i brought it on myself, let's find the princess diaries.”
sungchan wasn't paying attention to the movie; you were halfway through and he couldn't tell you anything about it; but he could tell you in full detail of your face, every blemish, every scar he could tell you. “you aren't watching this, are you?” you asked , turning to him. “no im so sorry.” he said. “i can see why you like it, but yn i don't think i can watch the second one.” you were too busy laughing to even hear his excuses. “it's okay, we can watch what you want to watch.”
“what if i want to watch you instead?” you lowered your head to conceal your smile. “that's boring no? he shook his head. “with how pretty you are? no.” he could see you liked that. “god you're smiling so hard , he never complimented you like that?” you shook your head. “jesus , he's fucking blind if he doesn't think so.”
before you could say anything, his lips were on yours; his hands on the side of your face, holding you in place, lowing you down on the couch. “wa-wait.” you pulled away breathless. “we can't do this, chan im with your dad.” he scoffed, hovering above you. “and how is that going for you?” he kissed your neck, your hand came up to his hair. “come on yn.” he was slotted in between your legs, giving him access to grind his pelvis into you. “su-sungchan.” you whimpered.
“let me make you feel so much better.” he lifted your shirt over your head , kissing down the valley of your breast. “way better than he ever made you feel.” he kissed your waistband, coming back up to your face to kiss you. “let me touch you.” he squeezed your boob. “fuck you.” you moaned, he smirked. “you like that?” he teased. “you want me to fuck you?” you nodded. “y-yes.”
“good girl.” he sat back, pulling his shirt off, your eyes scanning his abs. “you like?” he questioned. “you were staring at them this morning, right in front of him, like you didn't even care that he was there.” you felt his hand grabbing the waistband of your shorts , pulling them down. “such a pretty body , god my dad is so fucking stupid.” he got in between your legs, holding your legs over his shoulders. “gonna eat this pretty pussy.” he kissed in between your thighs.
“fuck you smell good.” he pulled your panties to the side, your glistening folds, sweet scent; you whimpered about to beg him to do something before he licked a strip up your folds. “ch-chan.” you moaned out hands threading in his hairs, yanking it as he made out with your cunt, drowning himself in you, it was better than anything he'd tasted before.
“fuck!” you yelped as he suck on your sensitive clit. “chan i'm gonna cum.” you felt his tongue going in and out of you, he was moaning against your heat, like he was getting more pleasure out of it than you were. “fuck im cumming.” he pulled away catching his breath, before licking you clean. “ch-chan.”
he pulled away , wiping his mouth with a smirk. “fuck eating this pussy is gonna be my new pass time.” he pulled his pants down. “you want my cock baby?” he stroked himself lining up to your entrance, he was much bigger to what you were used to. “it's not gonna fit.” he hissed, you were so cute, it made him just want to stretch you full of his cock inside you. “fuck baby, we'll make it fit.”
holding your legs still, pushing himself inside your warm cunt. “oh fuck you're so tight.” he hissed, your cunt sucking him in. “old man must've not been fucking you right , this pussy feels like it hasn't been touched in a long time.” his eyes rolled to the back of his head in ecstasy, he had never felt like this before; he was about to cum before he could even fuck you.
“deeper ch-chan.” your nails dug into his arms as he fully seethed himself inside you. “fuck baby you feel that.” he brought your hand to your stomach a small bump forming. “that's me right there, i'm in your tummy right now.” you moaned. “please fuck me, make me forget him.”
that's all he needed before pulling out. “gonna make sure you never want to fuck that old man again.” he slammed back inside you. “shit!” held your hands above your head as he repeatedly slammed inside you, repeating his name over and over, moaning in his ear , you felt like heaven around him. “fuck princess , this pussy is molding to my cock.” he cursed. “fuck chan.”
“this is my pussy now.” he grunted, “you're mines , gonna take care of you.” he let your hands go, they flew to his back, scratching him up. “fuck that bastard.” you moaned out. “gonna cum chan.” he reached in between your bodies, rubbing your clit. “cum for me.”
he felt your legs shaking, cunt tightening around him. “oh fuck love you're squeezing my dick, gonna cum inside you.” his thrust started to falter. “gonna cum baby.” he stilled himself inside you , his cum shooting inside of you, your eyes rolling to the back of your head as you felt him empty himself inside you. “good girl.”
…
“your dad must've been fucking pissed.” sungchan shrugged. “what's he gonna do.” he smirked. “take your ass right out the will.” shotaro said. “yeah? and have to tell everyone what happened? yeah no he'd never face embarrassment.”
“sungchan!” he smiled hearing your voice, you'd become much happier since that day, gaining all your confidence back , even started attending college again; all thanks to sungchan. “hey baby.” you ran into his arms, sitting down next to him , waving hello to all his friends. “what are you guys talking about?” sungchan kissing the side of your head.
“how i took you from my dad.”

Make A Move (Pt. 3)
americanfootballplayer!Sukuna x fem!reader
genre: slow-burn romance, college au, fluff, angst
warnings: none so far
word count: 3k
(-> Pt. 1) (-> Pt. 2) (-> Pt. 4) (-> masterlist)
A small gift bag in your hand, you're currently on your way to the football field. You figured it would only be fair to thank Sukuna for his help last thursday. All of your classes were over for the day and after your talk with Utahime - you had a lot of explaining to do after all - you found out that the team had training in this exact period.
Because Utahime is a senior tutoring juniors occasionally - as she had the best score in the mathematics exam last year - she knows about their schedule through a guy named Aoi Todo, who is also in the football team and simultaneously one of those juniors she tutors. You don't know how she keeps up with her own studies, considering she has that minijob at the hotel AND is a tutor on top of that. But she had always been a very determined woman and luckily, she only tutors every few weeks.
When you arrived, the team was just getting ready to start. You looked around the area to find that distinct pink haired guy you were here for and when you thought you had found him, he turned around and didn't have those typical tattoos on his face. You were utterly confused to say the least, when all of a sudden you heard a deep voice from behind you.
"Looking for me in your free time?"
You turned around and Sukuna gave you a smug look.
"Actually, yeah." you admitted and his face turned into a stunned one. He didn't expect you to be so blunt about it.
"I just came to give you that." you added and reached him the small bag.
"What's that?" he asked, mustering it before reluctantly taking it into his hands.
"Just a small thank you for last time." you crossed your arms behind your back and looked up at him, a genuine smile adorning your face. At this sight, he gulped. He examined the gift closely, slowly removing its content. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the chocolate in form of a football, his mind went blank.
"You got this for me?" he quizzed, taken aback by the kind gesture. You couldn't help but chuckle, a small bluff following.
"No, I actually got it for the other pink haired boy over there." And with that, you turned around and pointed at the man you had mistaken for Sukuna a few moments ago.
"'The other pink haired boy?'" he repeated with an amused grin. "Don't tell me you don't know him."
You shook your head.
"I don't. Why would I?" you doubted to which he responded in disbelief.
"Because he's one of the best players of our team?"
"I don't really concern myself with football or who plays it." you confided to him, causing Sukuna to drop his jaw in a state of shock before closing his mouth again in a moment of realization.
"You knew who I was though." he then stated.
"Yes, because you're a well-known womanizer." you rolled your eyes. He just laughed.
"If I am, then why aren't you all over me?"
"I'm resistant to boys like you." you shrugged your shoulders.
"Really? How are 'boys like me'?"
"Let me think." you pretended to be serious, getting into the thinker pose. "Arrogant, insufferable, boring, nasty..." he nodded at every word, occasionally raising his brows amusedly but letting you speak. Sukuna couldn't hide his entertainment, you were truly something else.
"You think so?" He came closer. "Then why did you give me the chocolate? You sure you're not crazy about me, sweet thing?" he smirked and that startled you for a moment, but you composed yourself again.
"Don't flatter yourself. You know it's not like that."
"A man can dream." he sighed and held up his hands in retreat, eyes closed. Once again, you felt your face heating up, when suddenly some of the players on the field headed your way.
"Yo, Sukuna! Hurry up, before you're late again!" someone screamed while coming up to the two of you.
"What do you mean again? I'm never late for training!" Sukuna hissed at him. Then the guy was already next to you, though on the other side of the fence.
"And what happened on thursday?" he asked him to which Sukuna kept silent. Your mind went to work, catching onto his words.
"What happened on thursday?" was your next question, curious because on that day, Sukuna helped you out.
Then another guy followed after the first, answering your question. It was the one that looked so similar to Sukuna.
"He was one hour late to our meeting, delaying the bus drive and our whole timetable and all!" The kind looking boy unfolded and now that he was closer to you, he looked like a boyish version of Sukuna, who was rather mature in contrast. His words left you speechless though, Sukuna prioritized your safety over football? You couldn't believe your ears.
"Yeah yeah yeah, and now I'm never hearing the end of it." Sukuna complained while the others laughed at him.
"Deserved." The black haired one said.
Then Sukuna took the opportunity to introduce you to each other, exposing the one with the black hair as Todo and the other one as Yuji. The two seemed to be extremely surprised at Sukuna's action for whatever reason, stammering sceptically while greeting you.
But that was not what caught you off guard, it was the way your name rolled off Sukuna's tongue. Now that you heard it slipping from his lips, you noticed you don't reckon telling him your name, so how did he know? You instantly glanced at him and when you did, he already met your gaze, a knowing smirk on his face.
"Anyways, hurry now or we're starting without you!" the two boys exclaimed to which he responded with a simple "I'm coming, dammit!", walking after them while all three of them grinned.
And with that, the athletes said their goodbyes. You returned, leaving slowly but surely. Sukuna, though, halted for a split second, calling out your name once more. He was definitely doing this on purpose.
"Hey! We're not done with that conversation!" he shouted and you inwardly agreed, wanting to confront him about the new found information that was revealed to you.
"Is that a threat?" you screamed back and he beamed at you.
"It's a promise!"
And then he turned around, running after his teammates. You couldn't help but start growing a wide smile yourself.
In the distance, you could see them teasing Sukuna about something, but you couldn't catch their voices.
It was the next day and you were sitting in your linguistics class that was about to start in a few minutes, busy reading through the endless pages of text you were supposed to read at home. Thankfully, your lecturer was not there yet, but you still cursed yourself for not starting earlier, positive that you wouldn't finish reading it in time.
Focused on skimming through the text, you jumped when suddenly someone plumped down the seat right next to you. It couldn't be your friend who typically sat there, because she was sick this week. Of course, it was Sukuna.
"Can you stop doing that?" you hissed, still recovering from the shock.
"Where would be the fun in that?" his pearly whites flashed you.
"Why are you even here? Mixed up the classes?"
"Nah, but we have unfinished business."
"So you thought this was the right place and time for that?" you remarked sarcastically, but he replied with a careless "Yeah."
Shaking your head, you took a quick look at the time before taking the opportunity to confront him.
"Why didn't you tell me you had to be somewhere else on thursday? I would have been fine. I hope you didn't get in trouble..."
Finally talking about what left you nosy after yesterday's events, you wondered if he didn't have any classes himself. But that shouldn't bother you. You've had a hard time doing your homework and falling asleep the previous night due to Sukuna's selfless act, unable to stop your mind from wandering to said topic. You truly wouldn't have expected that from him.
"You know my reasons already, it was my decision. It was nothing your little gift couldn't have fixed." he flirted and you puffed. "I texted them I had to take care of something first and in the end, we still won. None of them was actually mad at me, so don't worry about it." he assured you and that soothed you a little.
"Next time, I'm declining your offer." you informed him.
"Next time, I'll make sure you're at the game then. Can't keep me from the game when you're at it." he smirked and you sighed. He was so annoying.
"I already told you I'm not into football."
"Yeah, about that...that has to change. Can't let you walk around not knowing who the heroes of our campus are." he exaggerated.
"Speaking of which, how do you know my name?" you finally had the chance to ask him that.
"Wouldn't you like to know? Maybe I should leave it to you to figure it out, like you did to me." he suggested, referring to you lying about sharing a class with him when you first met. The puzzled look on your face was enough for him to break out in laughter.
"But I'm not cruel like that. I know Utahime from Todo, I just didn't know she had a roommate. So when I asked him about it, he remembered your name from some of her stories. He didn't know who you were though."
So you both used the same method, the same opportunity to find out about each other? What are the chances?!
"You know Utahime?" Those were news to you. She would have told you if that was the case, you were sure of that.
He shook his head.
"Not in person, I just know she tutors Todo."
"You're unbelievable." you were shocked that he put so much effort into getting to know you.
Everything you've learned about Sukuna in the past few weeks truly surprised you. You thought he was just a big asshole that only cared about himself and had a shallow personality, but the more you got to know him, the more you realized you actually felt somewhat comfortable in his presence. Not that you would tell him that, of course.
"I know." he winked. "So, what do you say? You coming to my next game this weekend?"
"Didn't you have a game last weekend already?" And in that moment, your professor barged in.
Shit! You haven't finished reading the text yet!
"Oh you have a lot of learning to do. We have one every week of the season."
But before Sukuna could carry on his lecture on football, you tried convincing him to give you this lesson another time, internally stressed about your still due obligation of reading the text. But he was stubborn, not willing to comply until you pledged to come to his game this saturday.
The loud discussion in the otherwise so quiet room has ultimately drawn the attention of your lecturer, who quickly noticed that Sukuna didn't belong in this class.
"Mr. Sukuna, aren't you in the wrong place?" the professor voiced.
Sukuna apologized, claiming he only needed a minute before turning back to you again, everyone's eyes on the scene in front of them now. The lecturer was taken aback by Sukuna's boldness, but seeing as the period hasn't even started, he let it slide.
"Please, go already!" you pleaded whisperingly, shoving him a little but he didn't back down just yet. Thankfully, both the professor and the students started preparing for class, the noise slightly concealing your conversation and taking the focus from you.
"I'm not leaving until you promise me to come."
He pushed and you gave in, not daring to face the consequences if you didn't, and especially not wanting to make this situation even worse let alone hold up the whole class.
"Okay, okay! I'm coming! Now go!" And Sukuna grinned.
"That's what I wanted to hear, princess." he moved closer towards you, his lips right next to your ear. "Keep a lookout for number 9, he'll score the winning goal." he whispered deeply and finally stood up, excusing himself.
You let out a breath you didn't know you held and noticed some girls shooting daggers at you. You almost forgot how popular Sukuna was and that made the whole scenario the more embarrassing for you. It was in that moment that you realized what it meant to be around the campus heartthrob Ryomen Sukuna.
Home. Finally home!!!
You thought the day would never come to an end when during all of your classes, Sukuna occupied your every thought. You didn't know what to feel, you knew he was this big ladykiller who you'd never involve yourself with usually, though at the same time, he was caring and attentive and easy to talk to.
You discarded your bag into the corner of your room and freshened up a little. Shoko would come over soon and together with Utahime, the three of you would have a long due girls night again. Movies and gossip with your two best friends - what could be better.
All of you were sitting in Utahime's room now, you didn't have a living room because your apartment consisted of only two rooms plus a bathroom and a kitchen. You didn't complain though, you were already lucky enough to have two separate rooms, many dorm members have to share one.
Shoko was even luckier and lived alone. You always switched between meeting at Shoko's place and yours. Although Shoko didn't have a big apartment, her bedroom was kind of small, so she visited you more often than you visited her.
You were in the middle of telling them the tea and they already tried to persuade you into thinking that Sukuna was interested in you. You just rolled your eyes.
"It's NOT like that! Trust me!" you insisted, but they didn't sound convinced.
"He invited you to his game?" Shoko promted.
"And didn't back off until you said yes?" Utahime's mouth fell wide open.
"I don't know, this all sounds pretty much like it is to me." Shoko was certain.
"I'm not sure, he's really nice and to be honest, different from what I thought." you admitted.
"Just be careful. His reputation speaks for itself. Don't let him fool you." Utahime then added.
"Don't worry, I won't." you sighed.
"Maybe he's just the type of guy who gets off on your 'unreachable' demeanor." Shoko wondered, tapping her chin with her finger. Your face cringed at the thought.
"Even if, it's not like I don't know better than to be cautious. I'm not playing into his game and I'm definitely not going to be one of his conquests. I could never see myself being involved like that with him." you declared confidently.
It was true, you wouldn't fall for his advances, you weren't naive. Maybe you've doubted it for a split second, but you always knew what his goals probably were. And you were thankful for your girls for reminding you.
"It's for the best, really. He is really attractive, but his reputation is just not it. If he ever makes a serious move on you, please run." Utahime concluded, disguising her sincerity with laughter. You could read her like a book however and knew she just deeply cared about you.
"I can't go alone to the game though. Are you by chance free on saturday and would join me?"
"What type of question is that, it was crystal clear from the beginning that we would come with you! Excuse me?" Utahime announced, seemingly offended and you all broke out into laughter.
Oh, how you loved your friends.
A few days before the game, you walked to one of your classes again. This time, you were prepared. You had read the text at home and the phenomenon 'Ryomen Sukuna' didn't distract you from it. You were on your way into the building when you saw a big bus in the parking lot in front of it. It was unmistakably for the football players, you saw Sukuna and his team in the distance. Suddenly, someone bumped into you.
"Oh shit, sorry! Hey, I know you!" It was Yuji.
"Oh, hi! Are you on your way to the bus?" you asked him.
"Yeah! We have an away game again this week!"
"Oh yeah, I know, I'll be there! Good luck!"
"Oh you will? That's nice! I hope you'll enjoy our game then!"
"Thank you! By the way, I'm sorry for interrupting your training last time. I could see you and your friend were quite irritated." you scratched your head in agitation. Yuji seemed confused.
"Hm? Oh! No, sorry if we left that impression! It wasn't you, it's just that Sukuna never really introduced a girl to us before! That was strange!"
What?
His words shocked you. You wanted to know what he meant by that, after all, Sukuna had something going on with a lot of girls already. But before you could consult him, he already set off.
"Oh shit, I have to hurry up, they're already getting inside the bus!" he stressed.
"Oh, yes of course! Uhm, please tell Sukuna good luck from me. A-and the rest of the team too of course!" you passed the message on to him.
"Will do!" he beamed at you and ran off. He was so fast that it didn't take him long to reach the bus.
In the background, you could see Sukuna looking at you through the window. He was already in the bus, his chin in his hands when he winked at you. You winked back.
Great, you thought, you successfully failed keeping Sukuna from your thoughts.
Here's part 3!!! Wasn't content with it for a while, and I've been busy. But now I like it! Omg omg so excited for all the ideas I still have for this story. Next part will be about the first game we're at! Sukuna in action (WOHOOO)! Let me know what you think! <3

Pocky Kiss - Hazbin Hotel Gang x Female Reader
[P.S. I know that many of the characters are together in relationships or planning to be (Huskerdust and Chaggie), so don't be upset if they do kiss the reader in the story. Enjoy]
Charlie🌈
🌈Charlie was so excited to try something new, especially when it involved sweets. She saw you coming back to the hotel, carrying a plastic bag. When she asked you what you got, you told her you had gotten some sweets.
🌈Going to explain how pocky was a very popular sweet in the human world, she was ecstatic, rainbows and sparkles popping up around her. There were so many flavors to choose from, but she loved the cheesecake flavored ones.
🌈Watching her munching away on them, stick hanging in her mouth, you remembered the little game that used to be played with these treats. Grabbing Charlie's attention, you asked if you wanted to play a game, to which she responded with an enthusiastic yes.
🌈Grabbing her by her shoulders, you positioned her so she was facing you. Explaining the rules of the pocky game to her, you watched her reactions, to make sure she was okay with playing it. Her cheeks did turn a slight pink, but she was still smiling and agreed to the game.
🌈Placing the pocky stick between both of your mouths, you started the game. The both of you moved slowly, nibbling the stick bit by bit. The more you stared at Charlie, the more entranced you got. She was both physically cute and beautiful at the same time. Her eyes were lovely and her rosy cheeks gave her a doll-like appearance, making you flush.
🌈Charlie noticed how your eyes were darting all around, before they looked away from her, gazing down. She also noticed the redness on your cheeks. Halfway done with the treat, you heard a soft chuckle and gazed back at Charlie. Her once adorable smile was now a smirk, her eyes had turned red with slits and red horns at appeared on the top of her head.
🌈Grabbing the collar of your shirt, she had pulled you closer, lips smashing together. "!!!!!!" you were left in a state of shock, not expecting this reaction at all. Her lips were very soft and you could smell the apple scented perfume that her dad got for her. Soon, the kiss had ended and she let you go, changing back to her normal appearance. "I WIN!" she said, jumping with excited, while you were panting with flushed cheeks and a racing heartbeat.
🌈Charlie noticed immediately and started apologizing saying "IM SO SORRY!! I-I don't know what came over me I ummmm" She was waving her hands, worried she had upset you. Smiling, you shook her head, saying you were fine, and not to worry. She calmed down at that, while giving you a bear hug, happy that you weren't upset. She had let you go after a while, and the both of you continued to sit next to each other, finishing the rest of the pocky sticks you had bought.
Vaggie🎀
🎀Vaggie wasn't big on sweets, compared to Charlie. She didn't hate them, but she preferred more of the mellow kind like ice cream or pudding.
🎀She happened to see you in the lobby room by yourself, humming while eating some type of stick. She questioned you, wondering what you were doing. "Oh hey Vaggie. Nothing just eating some pocky, want one?" Pocky? what was that? She noticed that box in your hand, reading the label "Cookies and Creme Pocky."
🎀 Noticing her confusion, you said they were a cookie like biscuit covered in flavored chocolate. She brightened a bit more at that, saying "Sure", and proceeded to sit next to you, grabbing the box from your hand.
🎀She tried a bit a first, until she grabbed two more sticks and began to eat away at them. Well, you were happy she like them. The both of you just sat in silence, continuing to eat the pocky. A thought clicked in your head, remembering the pocky game. Placing a pocky between your lips, you turned to Vaggie, while tapping her shoulder.
🎀She looked at you, pocky between your lips, smiling. She raised an eyebrow, wondering what the heck you were doing. You explained to her about the pocky game that could be played with two people, and said if she wanted to play. Moving the stick playfully with your lips, you continued to stare at Vaggie, urging her to play.
🎀She gave an unimpressed look, grabbing the pocky from your mouth and pulled it away. "Aww come on." you said, sadly. You were about to say something else, until you saw her get closer to your face, giving a small peck on your lips before pulling away. "WHA-!" Your face turned bright red, as you stared at Vaggie in shock
🎀She was just acting nonchalant, like nothing just happened as she continued to eat the pocky, while you were still contemplating what the hell just happened.
Angel Dust🕷
🕷Angel Dust was a glutton for sweets, especially if they were slightly erotic. He has done many porn scenes, featuring edible underwear or with food like whipped cream or chocolate.
🕷He happened to walk past your room, seeing the door opened a crack. Peeking in, you saw you sitting on your bed, with headphones in your ears, while munching on something. Raising an eyebrow, he entered inside, closing the door as he made his way over to your bed.
🕷You hadn't realize he had come inside, until you saw him plop in the center of the bed, causing you to jump and let out a yelp. He was positioned on the bed, provocatively, laying on his side, while he placed on his hands against his cheek, smirking at you. Removing your headphones, you yelled at Angel not to scare you like that.
🕷He rolled his eyes, before pointing at the box in your hand: "Whatcha eating their toots?" Oh he was curious. You went on to explain to him that it was pocky, a biscuit like sweet. "They are strawberry flavored, do you want one?" Taking one out of the box, you handed it to him. He grabbed it with one of his hands, and held it in front of his face, unimpressed. "Sucks that aren't di✪✪ shaped." You gave him a look that said, really, as he popped the thing in his mouth and began to eat it.
🕷"Eh not bad." as he grabbed a few more from the box and began to munch on them. As you watched him eat, you thought of the game that was very popular in the human world with these treats. Smirking a bit, you snapped your fingers to get his attention. Angel turned towards you, wondering what you wanted. "Angel do you want to play the pocky game with me?" Angel question you, asking what type of game was it. "Well two players put the stick between the both of them, and they eat away at it. You can either pull away or not."
🕷You watched his reaction, wondering if he was up for it. Suddenly, he sat up quickly, as his four arms pulled you closer. He positioned you on his lap, placing two hands around your waist, while placing the other two on your cheeks. His lips were drawn into a smirk, and he was giving you bedroom eyes: "Awww~ Ya want a kiss from yours truly~? Why didn't you say so~?" He was speaking very seductively to you, causing goosebumps to appear on your body.
🕷He slowly leaned in, taking the other end of the pocky with his mouth, and started to move slowly. Your heartbeat was racing by how close he was and how intimate the atmosphere was now. His pinks irises were gorgeous, drawing you in. His hands had wrapped around you snugly, pulling you closer to him. You heard him give a soft chuckle, his eyes lidded with lust as he inched closer and closer to your mouth. You slowly closed your eyes, as you felt his lips molded into yours.
🕷The kiss lasted for a good minute, before it ended, with the both of you panting. "Hehe~. Well that was fun. Did ya enjoy it toots?" He was still holding your cheeks with his hands, while his eyes gazed at you lovingly. Smiling, you gave a nod, while biting your lip. "Wanna play again?" you asked, giving him a shy smile. He smiled widely, showing his golden tooth. "Sure babe, but we can play without the sticks this time~." He leaned closer, interlocking lips again, as your back hit the bed.
Niffty🪡
🪡Niffty knew exactly what pocky was. This girl was a hidden weeaboo. She was cleaning around the lobby of the hotel, sweeping the ceilings left and right with a feather duster. She heard the sound of feet clattering on the floor, and turned to see you walking with a plastic bag.
🪡Taking a seat on the couch, you reach inside and pulled out a box of pocky. You were surprised that they had them in Hell, especially the chocolate banana one. As you laid back ready to eat some pocky, you turned to see a giant eye in front of you, causing you to jump.
🪡"Ohhhhhhhh! You got pocky? Gimme gimme gimme!!" she jumped on the couch, super excited and making grabby hands at you. Calming down and laughing at how cute she was, you gave her a few sticks, to which she smiled widely at and started to eat them happily.
🪡"How do you know about pocky, Niffty?" you asked, to which she quickly responded with "Fanfiction!" As you both continued to eat some pocky, you thought back to the pocky game that could be played and asked Niffty if she wanted to play. Niffty squealed in glee, grabbing a stick and placing it between both of your mouths. You were surprised she wanted to play, honestly.
🪡You were about to start nibbling, but Niffty sped ate the whole stick, letting your lips touch for a brief second, before she pulled away smiling. It took you a second to register everything that happened, especially since it was so quick. Niffty didn't say anything after that, just continued to eat the pocky sticks, until she ran to go get a broom, since there were crumbs now all over the couch and floor.
Husk🍺
🍺Husk didn't really give a fu✪✪ about sweets. His attention focuses more on the bottle in his hand. He does indulge in sweet flavored liquor, but only on certain occasions.
🍺He was snoozing a bit on the bar, having drunk a bit too much last night. His ears twitched as he heard the sound of someone taking a seat. Peeking his eyes open, he saw you with your phone in hand, along with some type of stick in your mouth. "The fu✪✪ is that?" he thought.
🍺You were taking a bit of a snack break, and decided to eat some chocolate pocky while scrolling through your phone. Taking a break, you looked away and spotted Husk staring at you. "Hey Husk." you have a small wave. He gave a grumble, removing himself from the bar and gave a stretch, hearing his back crack. "Hey kid. What is that long toothpick doing in your mouth?" He pointed at the pocky, that was hanging between your lips.
🍺You told him that it was pocky, not a toothpick. You asked him if he wanted to try one. He shrugged his shoulders and went to grab one from the box, before you pulled it away. "Wait..can you eat chocolate? Since your a cat demon and all." you looked at him with mild concern. He rolled his eyes at that, and grabbed the box from you, placing one stick inside his mouth. His face stayed the same, wearing his usual pout. He gave the box back to you, but grabbed some more sticks.
🍺Well your glad he didn't hate them. The both of you just ate the pocky in silence, until you had a thought. "Hey Husk, wanna play a small game?" Husk brighten a bit at that, giving a smirk: "You wanna play cards kid?" Shaking your head, you place a pocky stick in his mouth and explained the game to him. You knew for a fact he wouldn't agree to play this game. He could barely stand Angel's constant flirts, so the idea of him playing a kissing game was VERY slim.
🍺Husk gave an annoyed grumble, uttering a fine, as he leaned closer with the biscuit in his mouth. Wait really?!?!? He wanted to play?! Leaning in, you placed your mouth on the other. The both of you stood still for a second, until you slowly started to nibble. As you ate, you eyes were drawn to Husk. His black eyes were gazing into yours. Instead of the usual slits, his eyes were dilated, hinting he wasn't pissed doing this. You continued to admire him, gazing at his ears and red wings.
🍺You were about to pull away, thinking he probably didn't want to reach the end. As you started to back away, his hands had grabbed your shoulders, stooping you. His wings also folded in and wrapped around your back, encasing you. His lips then reached yours, gazing your eyes to widen in shock. The kiss continued between the both of you, before he pulled away.
🍺He noticed your flustered appearance, and chuckled. "Whats the matter kid? Cat got your tongue?" Covering your face with your hands, letting out a muffled shut up, you tried to calm your heart down. Husk patted your head, saying "sorry kid." You heard the sounds of some liquid being poured and you removed your hands to see that Husk was making your favorite cocktail. He finished and placed it in front of you, saying it was on the house, before walking away from the bar.
Alastor🎙
🎙Alastor would have no clue what pocky was. Only thing he was interested in was radio, murder, dad jokes, jambalaya, and jazz. Other stuff that wasn't any of those things he wouldn't associate with it.
🎙He was walking down the halls, humming a tune, when his ears perked up at the sound of jazz playing. Walking closer to the sounds, he had arrived at the door to your room, that was opened a bit. He picked his head in, seeing you sitting in the floor near your bed, folding some clothes. You were bopping your head at the tunes while also munching on something. You heard the sound of static, and turned your head to see Alastor. “Hey Al! You need something?” You smiled up at Alastor, placing the folded shirt in your hands on top of your lap.
🎙️Alastor smiled and entered inside your room, standing next to you with his arms behind his back. “No! Nothing at all, my dear! Just heard the sweet sounds of jazz playing!” Chuckling at that, you gestured to your bed saying he can take a seat there if he wants. He smiled more at that, walking over to your bed, and taking a seat, crossing his legs. Remembering what you were doing, you went back to folding your clothes, and eating the rest of the pocky in your mouth. “What is that strange stick you are nibbling on?” You heard him ask. Turning your head to look at him, he was laying on his stomach, smiling at you while kicking his feet.
🎙️ “Oh it’s pocky. It’s a treat I use to enjoy when I was alive. Charlie had actually found some in a store in hell and got some for me.” Grabbing the box, you lifted it up towards Al, asking if he wanted some. He scrunched his nose at that: “Apologies, my dear, but I’m not one for sweets, so I politely decline.” “These are not too sweet, they are 60% cacao ones so they are a bit more bitter.” You tried to convince him, but he turned his head away.
🎙️Ugh he was so stubborn! Trying to think of a way to get him to try it, you came up with an idea, it was risky but you think you could pull it off. Getting up from your position, you walked over to the door and locked it, before turning back to Alastor, who raised his eyebrow at you in confusion. “I wanna make a deal with you.” Radio screech! Well that shocked the hell out of him, where did this come from all of a sudden. His smile outstretched his entire face, as he continued to lay on the bed, placing his hands under his chin. "Oh ho! It appears I have rubbed off on you a bit. May you care to enlighten me on the negotiations for this deal?" You wanted to take back what you said, but it was too late to go back.
🎙️"Me and you are going to play the pocky game. No soul stealing or any funny business. Just a simple game between you and me and you can't refuse." Placing your hands on your hip, you eyed Alastors expression, seeing if he would take the deal or not. He tiled his head at you, eyes clouded in confusion. "Pocky game?" Oh right, he didn't know about that stuff. After you explained the game to him, he still continued to stare at you. "And if i refuse to partake in this?" His face showed disinterest, clearly not wanting to go through with it. "Aww is the radio demon afraid of losing?" you smirked. The sound of static got louder, and Alastor eyes had flashed into radio dials. Him afraid?! Hah, what a joke! Snapping his fingers, your body started to levitate and fly over to him, landing on the bed with a thud, as he got up from his position. His clawed hand grabbed your chin, tiling it up to have you look at him. "You are quite bold, aren't you. I'll agree to this little deal of yours. I hope you are prepared for the consequences."
🎙️His voice had deepened a bit, the static no longer masking his voice. This was giving you goosebumps all over. You didn't mean to upset him. Removing his hand from your chin, he extended it out towards you, ready to make the deal. Grabbing his hand, a shocking sensation formed once your hands connected and a slight green glow appeared around your hands. Letting go, you grabbed the box from the ground, and pulled out one of the pocky sticks, placing one end in your mouth, waiting for Al to grab the other. He had to bend down closer to you, given how tall he was. His mouth had grabbed the other end, and you both started to move slowly.
🎙️The atmosphere was so tense. You could feel your heart beating like crazy at this situation. Heat had risen in your face as you continued to stare at Al. You were able to see more of his features since he was so close to you. His eyes were a beautiful crimson red, drawing you in. The tufts of hair on top of his head were moving a bit, which you found adorable. Al noticed your eyes gazing at him, seeing admiration instead of fear. His own heart melted at that, as he chuckled softly, moving inch by inch closer to your mouth. The game then drew to an end with both of your lips touching. The kiss was merely a peck, until Al placed a hand on your cheek, deepening it a bit more. Kissing for a bit longer, you both decided to let go.
🎙️Your face felt like a million degrees, and you began to trace your lips with your fingers. Al still had a smile on his face, but you caught the hint of pink on his cheeks. His eyes were more calmer now, indicating that he was not as upset as before. "My, what an entertaining game that was!" His smile grew wider, as he continued to stare at you. Feeling shy, you looked down: "I'm glad you enjoyed it." Neither of you said a word after that, filling the room with silence. Deciding it was better to just move past what happened, you moved to go back to folding the rest of the clothes on the floor. A hand had grabbed yours, pulling you back. Your body had then moved from the bed to his lap, causing you to give a small yelp.
🎙️His hand had grabbed your chin, causing you to look up at him. His glowing eyes were looking at you with hints of desire. "As I said before, you better be prepared for the consequences of this deal. We will continue to play this until I am satisfied. Understood, darling?" His voice had dropped to a whisper, as the lights in your room began to dim. Gulping, you gave a small nod. Alastor let out a chuckle, before moving closer, whispering "Good girl."
Sir Pentious🐍
🐍Sir Pentious was a very classy man. He was from the Victorian era, so he wasn't up to date with many of the new and modern things, but he was interested to learn, since he wanted to be "cool."
🐍He was in the hotel gardens, watering some plants while his egg bois were helping him, or trying to as they tried to lift the water can or start little slap fights between themselves. He stopped watering, as he heard the sounds of what sounded like paper. Stopping what he was doing, he slithered to the other area of the garden. He spotted you, sitting on the ground, with a book on your lap, while eating something. "Well hello y/n." Looking up from your book, you saw Sir Pent looking at you with a soft smile. "Hi Pent, whatcha doing?" Sir pentious smiled wider, and extended his hand to the flowers: "Ah! I, the great Sir Pentioussss was watering the flowerssss." His way of speaking always made you laugh. Giving a nod, you went back to your book, eating away at the biscuit.
🐍Sir Pentious noticed what you were eating, and slithered down to sit next to you. "What issss that peculiar ssssstick in your mouth?" He raised a hand and pointed at your lips. Oh did he not know what pocky was? Grabbing the box next to you, you held it up in front of him. "These are little fudge biscuits. I loved eating them when I was alive. They have many flavors. These ones are matcha flavored, which is a kind of tea. Do you want to try one?" Grabbing one of the sticks, you handed it to him. Grabbing the stick carefully, he examined it like it was some kind of tool. He gave it a little nibble, causing eyes to widen in amazement, as he began to eat it faster. "These are excellent! May I have other one?" He extended his hand out, giving you a shy smile.
🐍You gave him some more, and the both of you continued to eat in silence, watching the Egg bois fooling around. Thinking back to the time when you were alive, you remembered the game that could be played with the little treats. "Hey Pent, do you want to play a small game?" Sir pentious looked a you, tiling his head, asking what kind of game. Grabbing one of the sticks, you gestured to him, explaining the rules of the pocky game. The more and more you explained the rules, the more flustered his face got. He realized if he played the game, you both would, you would-. His dark face was turning red, even his hat looked nervous. Noticing his expression, you told him he didn't have play if it made him uncomfortable.
🐍Sir Pentious shook his head, "I will play thisssss game! Prepare yourself!" He had grabbed the stick, and placed it between his fang lips. You knew he was nervous, given how red his face was. Smiling, you took the other end, and slowly started to nibble. Sir Pentious was just frozen there like a statue, he didn't eat at the stick, his emotions were going crazy. Sensing his distress, you grabbed his hand, rubbing your finger against it. That calmed him down, thankfully, as he started to eat at the pocky stick. The both of you got closer and closer, and soon both of your lips had touched. It lasted for a few seconds, until you saw Sir Pentious fall backwards.
🐍"Sir Pentious!!" you saw him fall backwards, landing on his back. He had apparently fainted from what just happened. His egg bois noticed and rushed over to him, saying "Boss are you okay?" They tried to shake him awake, but he was still passed out. Giving a laugh, you moved his body, positioning his head on your lap, making sure he was comfortable at least. You would have him rest there until he woke up, as you grabbed your book, and started to read again with a flustered past out snake on your lap.

Moments #2 - Mattheo x Reader
A/N: surprise! I give you another post today 😊 just another 1000 word or under one-shot for Matty.
Pls don't get upset with this one, it's all in good fun haha.
Prompt/s: "I thought you could be my date" and "What gave you that impression?"
All females know how stupid males can be. And we choose to pick one out, do our best to train it and declare them ours. Yet these lacklustre geniuses still have us questioning why we put up with them.
Sometimes you think you're in a relationship with their King, with how many times a day Mattheo has you questioning your choices. To be fair your gorgeous boyfriend does have some intelligence, his creative and innovative pranks was what started the spark between you both. And his brains were there most of the time for classes. Yet, he liked to slack off just as much.
It was just moments like this, when that common-sense and smarts seemed to be missing in that brain of his, that really gets to you. Any genius, or romantic, would ask their intended to the Yule Ball early on. Which gives the girl time to get excited, and fuss over her dress and hair, right? Even those in relationship's still ask their partner to the Yule Ball, its a sweet gesture and makes the girl happy.
Then there is Mattheo Riddle. Your stupid boyfriend. You had been dropping hints for weeks, hoping he would do something cute to ask you. But it obviously went over his head. As he never clued on. Not even when you got angry or ignored him. Ultimately you decided on a dress and hair, not as thrilled as you'd like to be. As in the back of your mind you were cursing Mattheo out for being so dumb.
This leads us to the current moment. Sitting in the courtyard with your boyfriend and his two best mates, Lorenzo and Theodore. Mattheo had his arm lazily wrapped around your shoulders as you both leant back on a tree. Lorenzo and Theodore lounging on the grass before you both. The Yule Ball was brought up, not by chance, but by Lorenzo. Who had shot Mattheo a look, which you didn't miss.
Something was up for sure. And that transitioned into both boys mentioning their dates. Then Mattheo jostling you, saying how you both would look good together in your dress and his dress robes. Ah, that was when you moved away from him, giving him a pointed look. Words were exchanged between you both, as Lorenzo and Theodore watched on. The later male enjoying the show you were both putting on.
Eventually you stood up, bag in hand. Deciding to leave this brewing argument, which you had no energy for. For your dear boyfriend just didn't get it. You just wanted the warm fuzzies when being asked to be his date.
“I thought you could be my date” Mattheo stated, rising to his knees before you. “You know, for the ball”.
You paused, staring down at the male who looked up at you with a smile. This was not the way you wanted to be asked, it was more of a statement. Did Mattheo think this was acceptable? Because you didn't.
“What gave you that impression?” You huffed, half annoyed and half sarcastic.
Mattheo’s smile fell, he blinked a few times in surprise. He did not expect that reaction from you. When Lorenzo voiced his concerns to the brunette about what he believed to be hints of asking you to the Yule Ball, Mattheo thought it was silly. To him you had to know it was a given that you'd be his date. There for, he didn’t have to ask you. But apparently he was wrong, and Lorenzo was right.
“Ah...” he muttered, letting it hang as he thought up a reply. “W-well you're my girlfriend! I thought you'd be my date, obviously".
There came a deep laugh from the grass, no doubt Theodore, before he was quietened down with a slap. You studied Mattheo's face. You thought maybe he was messing with you, that this was some stupid joke before he really asked you to the Yule Ball. But the realisation hit you, he thought this was perfectly fine. He had you, you were his. He didn't have to put any effort into making you happy or any romance into the relationship.
“Huh...” you said, crossing your arms over your chest. “I'm your girlfriend. You thought I'd be your date...well without being properly asked to the Ball, I could just keep my options open, right? See what else comes along...maybe I'll ask one of the Gryffindor seniors to the Yule Ball”.
A dark look crossed Mattheo's face. Alright, you were playing with fire. But your boyfriend deserved it. And you weren't backing down, yet. Giving him a nonchalant look, you just turn around and headed back indoors. You could hear Mattheo's heated protests, as well as his attempts to get up in a hurry. Not to mention the roar of laughter from Theodore.
But it was time Mattheo got what he deserved, and learn from this mistake. Don't take your girlfriend for granted, nor piss her off. Or else you find yourself scrambling to throw yourself at her feet in mercy, that is after a long and heated argument. Which may or may not lead to the threat of a break up. Mattheo, of course, will know to never upset his girlfriend in the future. We hope, but know it won't happen.
