so terribly tragic these styles arent very popular anymore but at least the people still actively wearing them r very chill
#the bin#tbh theres very few styles like these that are popular here rn. i think most ppl arent very into the muted/light colors + heavy layering rn#which is ofc fair. if you dont like it then whatever. but its still sad to me. also very upsetting that the cpk tag has been taked over#by things that arent cpk. c0qu3tt3 is like. idk enough abt it but its fine but its totally different than cpk#the lolita tag has had similar issues with c0q3tt3 but its popular enough to not be a big problem but the cpk is almost all that :(#(i censored it so this wont show up when you search that)#there are a few styles popular in japan rn that r similar but they havent gained popularity here. ive noticed that there always seems to be#styles similar to these being worn in japan bc i think the heavy layering us just a popular thing to try out but not so much here sadly#well. it honestly took me awhile to actually get into cpk bc it seems so hard to define and i cane from lolita so i felt like there was#gonna be rules n whatever but no.nits honesly so chill. just get the vibe down n ur good#well. lolita is really the only one ive seen that kinda behavior in and its so unjustified. clothes are meant to evolve and lolita isnt#some special case. it works just the same as all other fashion but people treat it like it HAS to be more than clothes. its unfortunate#things like fairy kei have managed to do just fine and survive despite having the exact same problem as lolita w weirdos sexulizing it#idk. im rambling. i am happy for the people out here still keeping the fashion alive
