"What if magical sailing ships could go to space" is a fascinating experiment as long as you actually work with the technology of the age of sail instead of giving magical solutions to everything to the point it's just science fiction with a different aesthetic.

Day three of February’s second weekly WIP behind the cut; “mistaken identities and interdimensional refugees”. (( chrono || non-chrono ))
“Uh,” Kon tries for a third time, clearing his throat and then sort of awkwardly . . . patting the kid’s shoulders, for lack of a better idea. Right, just . . . the kid still thinks he’s Clark, he guesses, so that’s gotta be like . . . what’s going on there, yeah. “Um–thanks, Jonno, but we should probably get off the street right now, we gotta get to, like . . . where we’re goin’ and all.”
Ideally before Batman gets too Bat-paranoid about how long they’re taking, even if he knows what’s going on with the whole Croc thing and everything.
“Oh, right, um–sorry!” Jon says, blushing in embarrassment, and then Kon feels like an asshole because the kid’s just–like, he just thinks he saw an alternate version of his dad do some superhero shit up close and personal, so he got excited or whatever.
“It’s cool, you don’t have to be sorry or anything, just we’re still, like–actively in a situation here, technically,” he says, feeling even more awkward and patting the kid’s shoulders again. Fuck, he fucking sucks at this. “So like, better to get the intel on it, right? And like, locally-speaking and all . . .”
“Right!” Jon says again, and at least stops looking embarrassed, so Kon guesses he could’ve done worse here. Though also he really wants to tell the kid he’s not Clark, but even if he switches vocal frequencies he doesn’t know if there are Batbugs in the towncar that would pick up anything he said, or even if this version of Jon won’t accidentally blurt something out or just freak out, and–
Yeah, this is still an “explain this shit face-to-face, ideally after testing the waters on the reality’s general thoughts about cloning technology and the results thereof” situation. Like, for sure.
Though that does make him feel like kind of an asshole with, like–the kid. Like, he feels zero percent guilt about keeping a card or two held back with the Bats, but Bats are nothing but held-back cards and also, like, none of them are ten and all freaked out to be alone in a new reality and think he’s a version of their literal dad, so . . . yeah.
Okay, yeah, he feels way more than just “kind of” like an asshole. Like–way, way more.
Goddammit.
Jon ducks back into the towncar and Kon spares another glance for Alfred, who just barely inclines his head, which is again totally unhelpful, so he just ducks in after the kid for lack of, like . . . literally anything else to do. Well–okay, that’s not true, he could just grab the kid and go anywhere on the planet they felt like, but he really does want intel from a local who knows what he fuck is going on and he has yet to meet the reality where the Bats aren’t the ones with the intel, so yeah.
Also, they dropped a pair of half-Kryptonians into the middle of Gotham uninvited, so like, it’s probably polite to at least swing by the Batcave. Touch base or whatever. Report in on the whole “invasive species” thing. And he really wants to know what the local reality in general thinks about clones before he has to find out what the local reality’s Superman thinks about clones. Especially, like, face to identical face.
Normally, Kon would be using the drive to wherever Alfred’s actually taking them–since obviously it is not actually gonna be the Batcave, much less the manor–to figure out how to maybe, like, figure out the local clone opinion without getting Bat-whatevered into a red sun cell or some weird magic circle or fuck knows what. Like, whatever the local Batman does to Kryptonians that his reality’s kryptonite won’t work on.
Normally, though, there is not a starstruck ten year-old who immediately starts talking his ear off again the moment Alfred closes the car door behind him involved.

Do the Warners have Memory Problems?
Even a scrapped exchange between Yakko and Dot hints at this (occurs at 0:59):
Yakko: "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Dot: "Don't worry, I've done this before!" Yakko: "Really?" Dot: "No wait... I've made beef jerky before."
Please ignore the likely possibility that this is just an out of context pun I wanna connect dots that aren't there.
I can excuse the first example, by the time of the reboot the Warners would've been drawn over 90 years ago in-universe, they're not gonna remember everything they've ever worked on. But the other instances were presumably relatively recent events. I get it, that's the joke, but it's fun to try and think of an explanation anyway.
Could they be developing memory problems because of their age? Their literal age, that is. Physically (and kind of mentally, they mostly act like kids but they're clearly beyond their age in terms of wit and book smarts) they're young, but they've still been alive for over 90 years. People tend to suffer from memory loss as they get older, and the Warners are technically older than most people currently alive. They may be toons, but could their brains really have not changed in all that time? The reboot suggests otherwise, since there's a segment where Dot finds a pimple (A.K.A a "zit") on her face, after which Yakko tries to comfort her by saying "we all get zits sooner or later", heavily implying that all three Warners went through puberty (it just took a longer amount of time than as it would for the average human), and hence that their bodies can in fact change. And if their bodies can change, and the brain is a part of the body, couldn't their brains eventually change too?
Alternatively...maybe this could be a side effect of them being reanimated?
We know this isn't just a bit, the Warners really were reanimated before the events of the reboot, that's why at the beginning of the first segment after the cold open they're returning to the water tower for the first time in years, rather than already inside of it.
Animaniacs has repeatedly shown it's not that interested in delving into toon lore (which is good since people don't watch comedy shows for lore infodumps), so we don't know much about how the process of reanimation works in a world where a considerable amount of the population are toons. All we know is that it's an in-universe explanation for their new designs. Since their designs were altered, and their designs are their bodies, could this process have altered their brains?
Another thing I'd like to point out is that the name of the first segment is "Suspended Animation Part One". This implies that the Warners were put into a state of, well, suspended animation before being reanimated, which explains why they don't know about modern technology or current events in the first episode of the reboot. Being in this state for so long might have badly affected their brains, hence affecting their memory.
...
Man we're really starved for content if I'm analysing random jokes 😭

Liveblogging TMAGP 9: Rolling with It
CAT3RB3354-14101998-08032024Dice (bone) / fate [Magnus Statement]
You cannot just do this. You cannot just do this. You CANNOT just DO this are you JOKING
Since this is a Magnus statement, this might just cleanly map onto End. Then again, maybe not. Everything else is fucky. I thought maybe it could be possible the burning of the Magnus Institute cause an "ecological" shift in the fear landscape that created a new categorization system and the breaking/forming of new alliances and groups, but the violin was all half-Slaughter half-Flesh and that was centuries ago so maybe not.
But whatever the case, I guess I'll have to... play the hand I'm dealt? Idk, I can't think of a better phrase. 0:08 - "statement regarding their entrapment in The Podcast" I know I don't normally bring up the episode dedications but YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME. My brain is already melting you can't just say "statement" I was half convinced I somehow spaced out and it was already starting!
2:57 - "Like its deliberately weird and pointless y’know?" That's what I've been saying!
4:40 - "Statement and Research assessment for artefact CD137 -" I think the computers like you, Sam. You let them get access to your phone, so now they're doing you favors! There's artefact storage information attached too? I don't think we ever actually got to see a detailed report from artefact storage. This should be good.
4:51 - "Magnus Institute – Manchester. Private and confidential. Viability as subject – none Viability as agent – low Viability as catalyst – Medium" Hey wait a minute, that's not London. That's not right. Alternate realities! Everything is in slightly different spots, hah! A catalyst is meant to initialize a reaction. So I'm guessing "Viability as catalyst" is about if the artefact can trigger paranormal events. And perhaps trigger reactions in other artefacts during cross-testing? Subject and agent are trickier. "Viability as subject" could be the opposite of "Viability as catalyst": How easily can this artefact be made to react if another artefact is used on it. "Viability as agent"... An agent of protection, perhaps? How good the object is at preventing you from being affected by the supernatural?
5:16 - "I’d put them in that box real careful, because let me tell you, those babies are due for some serious bad luck." That's not how that works. That's gambler's fallacy. Besides, we all know dice that roll good are innocent saints that always give good results and any other dice is naughty and deserves to serve 25 years consecutively in a maximum security penitentiary. Fate was one of the tags. It seems like the dice might control it. Good rolls make good things happen and bad rolls... Well, car accident is one of the incident elements. Dramatic highs that set you up for dramatic lows. Thinking of it, that feels more Web than End. And gambling addiction is also one of the incident elements...
7:00 - "I realize Gary has been doing seriously well since school" "That said, when he invites me in, I notice he’s looking kind of haggard" The money's all from the dice, isn't it? Literally just gambling his life away. It sounds like it just causes you to end up in a bunch of seemingly mundane accidents. And be really stressed.
7:11 - "I ask if he’s okay and he mumbles something about a mugging" Nevermind. Not just mundane. Okay, I guess getting mugged is technically mundane, it's something that could just happen, but still. "I do notice that a bunch of the bulbs have blown and there’s a huge leak over his massive sound system" And there are the accidents. Technology just breaks sometimes, right? Probably a coincidence :)
7:47 - "I’ll have to use his. That puts a smile on his face" Really, Gary? Pawning off your cursed relic to your unsuspecting school friend? Not cool. Probably won't even work. You'll probably get at least a week of peace and then suddenly die of a stroke or electrical fire.
8:36 - "From that point on I own those dice. And I know it." God, it's that easy? You just have to touch them? You don't even need to decide to use them? Just touch the dice once and your life is ruined? Geez. Of course, you could just... not roll the dice. Theoretically. I thought the dice might lead with good luck to lull you into security and make you develop and addiction before you start getting all the bad rolls, but maybe you just start to grow an addiction anyway before you even take the first roll. Worse, it might even be like the coffin. You just wake up in the middle of the night to find yourself rolling the dice. Do you have a freezer, statement giver?
9:35 Yeah, it's just like I predicted. High for good luck, low to start suffering. 9:57 - "The thing is though I still don’t really know if they ever made me roll them. I mean, I did. A lot. And I knew that the risks probably outweighed the rewards but I don’t think I ever felt them like “calling” to me or anything y’know? It always felt like my choice. Even if it was a shitty choice." That's... uncomfortable to sit with. Questioning free will. Something something "You're as in control of yourself as you've always been in your life" something something.
10:20 - "it's not actually random. You get a few high rolls, your next one's is probably going to be low. And if you've gotten all the bad luck out, you've got good things coming." Even if you're not just making up rules in your head based on random patterns, even if you're not just falling for the gambler's fallacy... This could very easily just be the dice setting you up. If they were "sentient" enough to balance out the luck, they could easily be "sentient" enough to just be baiting you this entire time into doing something really stupid. Like believing you're in control. The house always wins. 10:43 - "So that’s when I get to thinking, what if the person rolling doesn't matter just as long as the rolls balance out overall... Well, you see where I'm going with this." Please do not sacrifice people to the fucked up bone dice. I won't hate you as much as violin guy, but I will still be mad.
And then he just does the thing! Seems to just be doing it to random people though and not specifically the poor and homeless, so I'll give him that. The "Not-As-Much-Of-A-Jerk-As-You-Could-Have-Been" Award. 12:47 - "And as my luck kept getting better and better I started to feel less and less… connected to the world." Is he becoming a reaper? Or some embodiment of fate? An avatar either way. 13:06 - "I started to enjoy that more than the luck" Yep, he's eating fear now. 13:14 - "focusing more on being some mysterious stranger" Hey wait a sec- 13:22 - "I even began dressing for the part: I got hold of this long dark coat, a wide-brimmed hat, grew a proper goatee, the works." Let me look back at the transcript of Taking Note real quick. Hmmm. The gift-giver in the woods is only described as "A gentleman, it appeared, of surprisingly refined countenance". No mention of a goatee or hat. Still, the gift-giver does have dice. I realize it would make no sense for this statement giver to be him timeline-wise, but what if this is instead a role people inhabit, like the position of Archivist? When someone finds these dice and decide to not use it for themselves, they become to become the new Dealer of Cruel Fortunes. Perhaps collecting various other fear-touched items to hand off as gifts. The man in the woods in Episode 4 did even mention fortune and luck. He offered the violin as a way to change it. "Luck assumes a myriad of forms". Hmmmm. 13:30 - "That’s when I see Gary" Oh, Gary lived! 13:43 - "And a vicious little idea comes to me" And Gary is dead. Is this fate as arranged by the dice? Is the statement giver the house now, here to collect its due? 14:33 - "I’d never seen snake eyes come up before" Well, fuck. I also notice that the car accident in the incident notes... hasn't happened yet. Gary is going to die in one, isn't he? In fact... is snake eyes the only roll the outright kills you? People have been scarred and hurt, but I think the dice just lets you suffer. 15:09 - "When the truck barrels through the wall, it isn't the grill that hits Gary first. It’s the bricks that are crushed in front of it." I was... not expecting the car to come directly into the building at Gary. I just thought the statement speaker would find out Gary died in a horrible accident later while Gary was driving or crossing the street, not for a car to literally be launched at him like a heat-seeking missile! And that rising noise earlier, was that supposed to be the car? The description of the gore is... vivid. I do not think I want to relisten to it.
16:08 - "I don't know what I expected to happen, what satisfaction I thought I might get from seeing Gary get screwed over by the dice, but that… it’s too much and I know I can't keep them." So you DO have a conscience! Too bad this decision is going to send you into fear withdrawal, because you fucked around with those dice way too much to still be human. You keep pushing and pushing, playing your games of luck and only backed out when you really had to actually see the consequences to their fullest extent.
16:36 - "Well, maybe just once more. For old time's sake." IDIOT. IDIOT. IDIOT. Okay, I don't think the dice ever compelled him when he chose to roll it on his own, but I think its definitely compelling him now. You don't get to just quit the game. Time to watch a bookcase collapse onto this guy's skull, or for him to suddenly suffer the wrath of a bunch of artefacts spontaneously triggering. "Viability as a catalyst - Medium". 17:33 - "You are to visit a man by the name of “Nigel Dickerson” and hand him this envelope which contains a name and address. Take note of anything he says or does in response, especially his stress levels and emotional state, as well of those of any companions." So Gwen's new job is essentially to act as the messenger... who might get figuratively or literally shot. She delivers private communications with important parties and then reports back any relevant details that will help Lena and those she works for decide what course of action to take next. 17:40 - "You must know him. He was huge in the 90s. Saturdays on Six? Mr Bonzo? The Prank Tank?" HIM? BONZO IS GETTInG INVOLVED NOW?
18:35 Okay, I looked back over the transcripts. Alice's phone has been used as a recording source for a scene before. This isn't new. For a second, I thought it was and thought whatever in now in Sam's phone spread. But no, this is just the standard level of privacy invasion. Gosh, even the people in TMA knew there were tape recorders. This is messed up actually.
23:07 - "When do we leave?" I'm VERY surprised Alice agreed. She seemed very intent on not poking her nose where it doesn't belong. She outright told Sam to drop the Magnus thing. This exploration is not set up to end well. Last time I checked, the last person who went into the Magnus Institute ruins had eyes grow all over their skin! (or something). Not good vibes!
And that's episode 9! A cautionary tale of what happens when you don't put dice in dice jail. It was a bit simple, but I enjoyed it! It definitely picked up when the statement giver started to become almost an avatar. That is not an angle I saw coming. Too bad he's dead though. I morbidly kinda hope he became, but he said himself he wasn't the right holder, and his death the result of him rejecting his position. He's probably just dead.

Songs like sunlight
An mcyt battle of the bands au
Some people really like my snowbugs WIP and now I'm using it as an excuse to talk about my au because I like this au. (Btw feel free to ask questions about the au please I'll love to talk more about it)
CW: the entire entertainment industry, implied workplace abuse and talks about disabilities
World building/plot
SLS or The battle of the bands au is a secret life au that takes place in a dystopian world aesthetically based on ideas like cyberpunk and solarpunk.
After all of earth's greenery was almost destroyed as caused by the industrial revolution people turned to music and other arts to not only cope but to separate more from the technology that was destroying the earth.
Centuries later earth us flourishing with greenery (however their water supply is definitely not better) everywhere you walk you see everything from people on scooters to bikes to street artist showcasing their work to anyone who'll listen, of course nothing can be perfect and Companies have used the rising growth of music to its benefit.
The biggest music company in the world is Watchers Inc. A music company that has been booming since the introduction of their latest singer a masked singer only known as X by fans as well as controversies with former members... However this mysterious singer isn't their reason for popularity oh no it's how they choose their next talents.
Every decade Watchers Inc. Hosts a battles of the bands competition, choosing a selection of popular indie artist to compete for a prize, with the winner being offered a spot as a talent for Watchers Inc. Alongside their prize.
This year is particularly special with the introduction.. And reintroduction of some familiar faces now battling to win a grand prize, which band will come out on top? What secrets will be revealed? What kind of relationship will bloom? And which will have their failures and personal lives broadcasted live in front of millions.
Bands
As mentioned previously this au is secret life based as that was what was currently out when I first started this au do of course I enjoyed playing around with dynamics and how they all started theirs bands/careers.
Gem & The Scott's- indie/alternative music (can't explain but think of black sheep by metric. That. Specifically the one in Scott Pilgrim)
Starting off with gem and the Scott's, gem and impulse met each other because of a family friend leading to their eventual friendship. Soon enough gem had an idea, let's male a band. Both gem and impulse had a fascination for music considering it's how they became friends, so it just felt right in gems eyes. However they needed one more member and luckily she knows exactly who to ask.
Next thing Scott knows as he's relaxing at a bar enjoying his break from music when a random ginger woman runs up to him and ask to join her emo band. And he said yes for some reason so I guess it worked.
Mounders- folklore music
The mounders were founded by pearl a few months after her band's contract was terminated by Watchers Inc. So she decided to start fresh and gather some of her friends to set up a proper band.
Due to Pearl's previous success it wasn't too difficult getting back into business with some assistance from her bandmates and suddenly everything is good again.
The Roomies- pop? (Maybe? Like Oliva Rodrigo kinda pop not finalized)
The roomies aren't technically an official band Grian is considered a independence artist by many and switches around bandmates a lot because of his contract with Watchers Inc. However he trusts etho and Cleo the most and preforms with them as much as he can because they treat him like an actual person.
The heart foundation- Jazz (Dont ask me details I don listen to jazz music)
Couple of dudes work at a bar and play jazz music. I don't know what else you want they're just silly guys with a bit of PTSD
Big dogs- rap (because its funny)
Jimmy and Martyn were both in the acting business for awhile which is how they met. Jimmy has been and actor since childhood and Martyn only started during adulthood while doing music on the side. Soon enough Jimmy ends up ranting to Martyn about acting and how he's tired of it after doing it for so long so Martyn asks if he wants to become a musician with him and Jimmy agrees then the big dogs were born.
Scar & Lizzie- Lizzie is pop (but like theater kid pop if that makes sense) and scar is yet to be decided (maybe country?)
Lizzie and Scar are both individual performers both choosen through a popularity vote by the fans and watcher staff.
Extra fun stuff
This was mentioned in the WIP above but Scott is legally blind, however he was not born blind. He basically got the bad genetics in his family and eventually starts going blind over time. Its really not too important to the plot (besides some backstory stuff and self esteem issues) but it's an interesting detail that I'm doing lots of research to get right.
Lizzie and Joel are married in this au! I'm only bringing this up because my friend came up with a funny idea that Lizzie was unarguably the more popular of the two but Joel bragged about his popularity more.
Skizz owns the bar the heart foundation works at the boys typically do seperate performances and performances together while also helping around the bar itself however Skizz is known to hire small bands to preform as well.
The setting SLS takes place in is as mentioned very green but there are spaces around dedicated to paintings and art in general, like cleared up spaces dedicated to graffiti or street artists having their own spot to work.
Almost everyone in this world is a hybrid of sorts, I try to have fun using lesser used hybrid headcanons but some are just a bit basic. Is there lore reasons they're hybrids? No I just think it's cool.
Since this is a secret life au all the winners of the previous games are Grian, Scott and Pearl (they won together), and Martyn. Grian, Scott and Pearl had all taken the offers to join Watchers Inc. But only Grian remains meanwhile Martyn stayed independent and just took his prize and left.
On the topic of the winners it should be mentioned that all the winners do know each other in some way, Grian is cousins with Pearl and therefore knew Scott by association, Pearl and Scott are former band mates but are still close, Martyn and Scott are friends from highschool so pearl knows him by association, Grian met Martyn at a bar an became friends.
And that's all yall getting for now!

Last night, I had a dream. Or... well, it was technically a memory but with dream aspects to it. I'll tell it, replacing/removing my dream aspects from the memory.
Princess Zelda was walking in front of me, the cool wind from Hebra Mountain rolled onto our faces while walking to Rito Village. Zelda was wearing her travel outfit: her light blue shirt tucked into her black pants and brown boots that went a few inches just below her knees. Her hair was blowing in the wind from north to south, as was mine, just not as much since I had mine in a ponytail. I wore my green tunic that I had gotten in the Forgotten Temple just east of here.
We didn't say much, which was fine with me. I liked staying quiet. As we walked, we got ambushed by blue Bokoblins. In one spin attack with my Royal Knight's Broadsword, I slashed off all 5 of their heads before the princess I was guarding could react. Their purple blood splattered all over us. Then, after a few seconds of the dead bodies laying on the ground, they turned to smoke and blew away, from north to south as well. The blood dissipated, and behind were their fangs, horns, and stomach, which pulsated as if it was still digesting something they ate. I silently cursed them out, How could the Goddesses make the monsters turn to smoke while the humans, elementals, and anthros had bodies they needed to bury.
Then, I heard a screech of another Bokoblin, I turned to see a club inches from my face as a black Bokoblin leapt up in the air like a frog and was coming down at me. I had no time to react, but an arrow pierced the cheek of this monster with just enough force to make the thing miss.
A white feathered Rito flew above us with his bow drawn. The Bokoblin realizing that it was going to die, fled. The Rito landed next to us, on his back was a child that looked like him. I realized who these two were instantly.
"Teba." I said, sheathing my sword. "Ah, Linkle, it's good to see you." the adult Rito smiled at me and turned to Zelda, bowing. "And it seems you got my letter, Princess." Zelda gave a kind, simple nod. "Yes, you requested to see myself and Linkle." "I have... news. I'm unsure of whether to call it good or bittersweet." Teba answered. Zelda and I glanced at each other.
Teba led us back to Rito Village and when we got to his nest, he presented us with tea. We kindly accepted and he began his explanation of how after Calamity Ganon was defeated, he heard a beep of some kind of Guardian, and a portal opened before him, to which he saw the late Rito Champion about to die to Windblight Ganon.
Over the coarse of an hour or two, he explained in great detail about how he, Yunobo, Riju, Sidon, his son "Tulin", and Riju's sandseal "Patricia" all were sent back in time and helped defeat the Calamity and how things changed.
It... was very emotional. The Princess and I listened to how an alternate timeline now existed. All our pain and suffering in this timeline still existed. We lost everyone we cared about, but in that time? People were lost, but it was not a mass genocide like it was for us.
After a lot of processing, we thanked Teba for telling us and traveled back home, it took us days to get back, but once we got to my house in Hateno, Zelda and I collapsed into each other in front of the picture of the Champions and sobbed, holding each other and thinking about what Teba had described. It was just as Teba said it was: bittersweet.
After a week of discussing and grieving, we decided to host a ceremony for the heroes of that timeline. We declared Teba, Sidon, Yunobo, and Riju as "the new Champions" and after the ceremony, over the course of 2 years, we destroyed as much of the Sheikah technology as we could. Or reusing things that we knew that if Calamity Ganon ever returned, he wouldn't be able to use against us like he did before.

Japanese history is complicated
Something that often gets lost in western discourse about Japanese history is, that it is kinda complicated. Like, really complicated. Like, fuck, German history is easy compared to Japanese history. And it is kinda lost.
When western folks look at Japan, many will just see it as this "mysterious oriental nation, where futuristic technology and mystic rituals mix". And that will be about it.
If the people looking at it are American, they might also go: "BUT PEARL HARBOR!" or maybe, just maybe, they will also go: "Japan did a lot of horrible things during World War II." Which is something that gets often not acknowledged enough. Because, yes, Japan did horrible things during World War II. Horrible, horrible things. Massacres. Rape. Concentration camps. Enslavement. You name it. Japan did a lot of bad, that some self-proclaimed Japan fans tend to either forget or idealize.
If you look at it from an anti-colonialist perspective, you might also find that Japan's actions leading up to the second world war, leading up to other things that had happened before, were very much informed in reaction to western colonialism in the Pacific. Japan very much tried to play the western colonial game - because the only alternative would've been to be colonialized themselves. Which is no excuse for all the horrible things commited during WWII, but it is an explaination.
But if you go even further back - much further - you will find it even more complicated. Because a long, long time ago Japan itself was colonialized. I spoke about that in the Princess Mononoke post yesterday, but it is something that is lost on many people: Japan was colonialized by Korea around 600 AD. And while historical records of the time are rare, you will find a lot of the same things happening during this time, that had happened later during western colonialization of other nations as well.
Japan before this point in time was an island chain with several indigenous cultures living there. These cultures were mostly distinct, but shared some common believes, mainly that they all had different kinds of spiritualist religions. Which means, that there are spirits living in nature.
Quite a few of these people also believed in one or multiple mountain gods, that were often reveared as the highest deities of their cultures.
And here comes the thing that western people often do not think about. How Buddhism, like Christianity in the west, was spread around Asia not always in a peaceful way. Because Buddhist people from China and Korea came to Japan and they wanted to spread Buddhism - and also lay claim to the Japanese land. And so they did.
In hindsight the Japanese propaganda talks about the Taika reform of the 7th century as "uniting Japan", but technically it was more in terms of conquering Japan and enforcing a unity on it, trying to eradicate the indigenous cultures and religions and forcing Buddhism on them.
What we now know as Shinto is, what remaines of the Indigenous believes. Mostly that of the Yamato people.
From this came an upper class, that consisted of those early people to convert to Buddhism and some of the Koreans settling in Japan then. And if you have watched any samurai movie, you know how the conflicts between that upper class and everyone else shaped Japanese history.
Now you might say: "But that happened more than 1000 years ago! What has this to do with the now?" And the answer is simply, that history is - as I have said before - nothing that can be neatly divided into eras. Rather it is a continuous thing, where things influence the future, even for more than a thousand years.
And because of this... It is complicated.
No. Nothing about this was inevitable. History is no line of dominos destined to fall. But if you look at it, you will come to understand each and every step of the way. People made decisions. They made bad decisions. But those decisions were influenced by the past.

@longroadstonowhere:
well, speaking for myself, i feel i would definitely have a phantom limb feeling if i switched to never wearing glasses again (i dont wear contacts so i don’t have great proof for this, but i have worn prescription snorkeling goggles that let me see but didn’t sit on my nose the same way as glasses and so created that sensation)
Hmm, I guess it may vary from person to person, then, or possibly vary depending on whether you've ever worn contacts. The first time I switched to contacts was over 20 years ago so I no longer remember what it was like the first time. I'm guessing contacts may not actually exist in the Nine Houses
@racefortheironthrone:
Regarding the tech issue - it's not just what they know, but also what's available and what they can afford. Nona/Pyrrha/CamPal are pretty strapped for cash because BOE doesn't give them very much, and the New Rho economy is doing very badly (food and other necessities are expensive and not always available, which suggests supply issues; likewise, the instability of employment and the lack of public services suggests that there are also problems with demand as well).
So there may well be more advanced tech than Cam's casette recorder, but it might not be available in New Rho markets or at prices that they can afford for non-essential items.
I mean, it kind of depends on why there are food shortages. Food shortages could just be the result of war rationing - they said that you could technically acquire poor-quality meat via the black market, which indicates to me that it is available, it's just not allowed to be sold right now, probably due to rationing. Other things than food might be rationed, but I don't think our phones at least are made of things that would likely be rationed in that context, but who knows what kinds of devices they have after 10,000 years, or even what the prices of those things would be. Things that would be considered incredibly high tech much less than even 1000 years ago are now dirt cheap and no one has to worry about being able to afford them (ballpoint pens, for example). After 10,000 years I would expect even more stuff like that
You can technically, right now, still buy cassette tape recorders for relatively cheap, but I have wonder how true that would still be if Earth was destroyed and all of the companies that are still producing cassette tape stuff were destroyed along with it - there's an incentive for companies that have always sold cassette tape stuff to continue doing that, but is there an incentive for brand new companies to start manufacturing and selling cassette tape stuff? It seems like a lot of older technology might get left behind permanently if something like that happened. Also, like, currently a cassette tape recorder is not in fact considered a low cost alternative to using a phone to record something even though it's technically cheaper than a phone, a) because of the general difficulty in getting and maintaining something that can play cassette tapes, and b) because smartphones are a basic necessity now in most places and you need one anyway, and they are all able to record video, so I think you probably wouldn't save money anyway
@eye-lantern:
Gideon did fight and kill heralds. She also lost a thumb. And got her intestins ripped out. And her skull smashed. And died at least 3 times. While in an unfamiliar body but also a body who's tendons could rip and recover in the same movement, and did not need to breath. Hect could kill one or two. But as much as she is a beast she would die.
That's true, but it seems like Palamedes and Camilla may have achieved Lyctorhood in the same way G1deon and Pyrrha did, and thus they would have the same advantages that Gideon had
@wellhappybirthdaytomeiguess:
I think part of the issue with the ‘tightness’ Nona mentions is that she is walking miles a day AND Cam has her always working out.
Ahh, if that's the case that makes sense

A great meal and a drink bring people together, but for two women, it’s about more than that—it’s about inspiring other female chefs and beverage connoisseurs. Following Women’s History Month, we spoke with Cathy Whims, chef and owner of Nostrana, and Lorena Vásquez, master rum blender for Zacapa, about how they each transformed their love of flavor into fulfilling careers. Read our Q&A with these two trailblazing women, plus get Whims’ delicious blueberry tart recipe! 2 women share their unique culinary journeys Cathy Whims (chef and owner of Nostrana) Nostrana Based in Portland, OR, Whims combines her love for Italian cuisine with a Pacific Northwest flair. Her approach to using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients in dishes not only has shaped Portland’s vibrant culinary scene but made her a six-time James Beard Award finalist for Best Chef: Northwest. First for Women: What first drew you to Italian cuisine, and how has your approach to it evolved over the years?Whims: Cooking at Nostrana deepened my understanding of Italian cuisine and connected me back to my Southern roots. Growing up in North Carolina, I grew apart from some of the foods I ate during my childhood. After my first trip to Italy, I realized I had to reteach and relearn the art of Italian cooking. I saw many similarities in techniques and ingredients from those in Italian cuisine and flavors from the South. Think polenta and grits, prosciutto and country ham—they’re essentially just two sides of the same coin. Both cuisines have strong agrarian cultures built around the seasons with a bounty of local ingredients and an unfussy celebration of place. It’s no surprise I fell in love with Italian food—it resonates with me on a cellular level. FFW: Who are the women who’ve inspired you most throughout your journey?Whims: Throughout my journey, my mother has been one of my biggest supporters and inspiration. Despite working full-time at a pharmacy, she consistently put a home-cooked meal on the table for our family of four, twice a day. Often, dinner was inspired by Julia Child or a mix of Southern classics. I also adore Marcella Hazan, who was not a professional cook at first yet had a vision to transform the way Americans master Italian cuisine. Lastly, Carol Adams taught me about alternatives in cooking and showed me how to elevate the simplest ingredients. FFW: How has being a woman shaped your experience in the culinary industry, and what has helped you stay grounded through it all?Whims: My restaurant experience was one-of-a-kind—it offered a feminine and countercultural approach, prioritizing the quality of food and overall dining experience rather than focusing on the number of covers. Each dish told a story throughout, honoring traditions and cultures that shaped the food, whether it was ingredients or flavors. Lorena Vásquez (master rum blender for Zacapa) Zacapa For Vásquez, blending rums is both an art and a science—two fields she’s well-versed in. Her experience spans over 40 years, with a focus on creating quality rum for Zacapa customers and having a larger social impact for women in particular. FFW: What inspires your approach to blending rums for Zacapa? Vásquez: A great rum is like a great story—it takes time, patience and a touch of magic. My approach to blending rums has definitely been influenced by my background in chemistry. Before entering the spirits industry, I earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and pharmacy and also studied food technology and business administration. This scientific foundation helped me develop a deep understanding of flavors and aromas, allowing me to master the technical aspects of rum blending. FFW: What’s one project from your social impact initiatives that really speaks to you? Vásquez: One of the projects I’m most proud of is our Petate weaving program, where local women handcraft the intricate bands that adorn each bottle of Zacapa. This initiative not only helps preserve an important part of our cultural heritage but also provides hundreds of women with financial independence and the ability to support their families. When you empower women, you empower entire communities. Through our initiatives, we’ve seen women gain confidence, send their children to school, and invest in their futures. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the ripple effect of these opportunities. Beyond the economic impact, I also hope to inspire more women to break barriers in the spirits industry and beyond. As one of the few female master blenders in the world, I know how important it is to lead by example. My hope is that by sharing my journey and championing these initiatives, more women will feel encouraged to follow their passions and step into leadership roles in whatever field they choose. FFW: Looking back on more than four decades in the industry, what are the most valuable insights you’ve gained that could help other women hoping to succeed in this space? Vásquez: After more than four decades in the rum industry, I’ve learned that technical knowledge is essential, but what truly sustains you over time is passion, patience, and integrity. I’ve come to understand that mastering the art of rum requires sensitivity, respect for the raw materials and a deep connection with time—because rum teaches you to wait and to trust the process. To the women who dream of making their mark in this world, I would say: never doubt your intuition, stand firm in your voice even in spaces where it isn’t always heard, and never forget that excellence knows no gender. Authenticity and perseverance are our strongest allies. Bonus: Whim’s wow-worthy blueberry tart recipe With Whims’ new cookbook, The Italian Summer Kitchen, releasing on April 15, she shares a blueberry tart recipe that’s the perfect sweet treat for the warm days ahead. Blueberry Tart John Valls Ingredients: Crust: 1½ sticks (¾ cup) cold unsalted butter cut into ½-inch pieces 2 cups flour 1 tbs sugar Zest of 1 lemon 1 tsp fine salt Filling: 4 cups blueberries 1 teaspoon cinnamon ¾ cup sugar ¼ tsp salt Juice of 1 lemon 8 oz creme fraiche 2 eggs Directions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Use food processor to combine cold butter with flour, sugar and zest of one lemon until the texture resembles coarse cornmeal. Press mixture evenly into bottom and sides of 12-inch fluted tart pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Prick bottom of crust with fork and cover with aluminum foil. Fill with weights (dry beans are perfect). Bake tart pastry 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool and remove weights and foil. Mix blueberries with cinnamon, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Pour berry mixture into baked pastry. Bake 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 375°F. Mix creme fraiche with beaten eggs. After 15 minutes in the oven, pour creme fraiche mixture over berries. Bake an additional 20 to 35 minutes until custard is set. Remove from oven to a cooling rack. When cool, remove from tart pan and serve. Note: Place leftover tart slices in an airtight container and store in fridge for 3 to 4 days. Source link

Top Study Abroad Programs for 2024: How to Pick the Best Fit for Your Academic Journey

Studying abroad can be very life-transforming, especially when taking top courses for MS in USA. This can expose an individual to a new culture while broadening their view of the global plane of things pertaining to subjects one is studying. However, the existence of many alternatives overwhelms people who want to pick just the right kind of study program. The goals, therefore, are to consider academics together with career ambitions and interests in various things. Here is an easy guide to finding the appropriate study abroad programs for the year 2024.
Define Your Academic Goals and Interests
The primary way to land the right study abroad program is if you know or understand your goals and interests well. If you are planning to study low-cost universities for a master’s in the USA that you deem fit with your career pursuits, here are some reasons why study abroad programs usually focus on specific studies like business engineering, among others, and the arts, among many more different courses. If you require hands-on training, find programs that consist of internships or research opportunities. Most students considering technical careers pursue the best MS in the USA courses, such as computer science, data science, or engineering. Clearly define what you wish to achieve academically, and then you’ll get a program that works best for enhancing your knowledge.
Pick a Destination That Fits Your Career Ambitions
Location is significant when you are going abroad, especially If you want to masters in USA. Because different places shine in certain areas, business and technology, for example, are prevalent in New York and San Francisco, and Los Angeles is where all the entertainment and arts-related activity happens. Consider how you can leverage your city or state to fulfil your desires and what kind of cultural immersion you will experience. A new location can introduce you to a new worldview, professional networking, and language skills. Many students scan the university list in the USA for MS for their best fit in academics and their careers.
Think About the Duration and Time of Your Study Program
There are a lot of different lengths in terms of study programs, short summer programs and full-length academic years. The length could be just one semester or a year-long program. Consider how much time you can commit and how the program fits into your academic back home. If you had commitments such as internships or family obligations, then short programs would be more convenient, but a longer program has the potential to allow for fuller cultural and academic immersion. If you want a more extensive program, then refer to the Cheap universities for masters in usa and see which one you can fit your schedule into.
Compare the tuition fees, living costs, and travel costs between the programs. There are low-cost universities for Masters in the USA offering quality programs without being expensive. Many schools also offer special funding, scholarships, or grants specifically for international students. Look into these types of opportunities and see if you qualify. Some programs also give stipends or include some living expenses in the packages. Think about the cost of living in a particular town or city; places like New York or San Francisco cost a lot more than the average small town.
Examine Program Reputation and Support Services
Another important aspect is the reputation of the program and support services. Choose universities with a good academic standing. Read reviews from other students who have completed the program to understand their experience. Support services such as academic advising, housing assistance, and help with the visa process can make your transition easier. A program that has good support services ensures that you are able to focus on your studies and personal growth without unnecessary worries.
Conclusion
It, therefore, requires careful planning and research before settling on the best possible study abroad program for a master’s in the USA. The definition of your academic objectives, the selection of a destination determined by your career aspirations, and the assessment of costs and provisions for the program will help you find the one that is perfect for your needs. Whether it is a hands-on experience, academic enrichment, or cultural exploration, studying in the USA opens doors to excitement. To guide you through your process, especially in determining the most suitable program to secure admission for a master’s in the USA, a portal such as applybuddy.co will be extremely helpful for choosing the right college for the best educational pursuits.

They'd sat there for a long time, clinging to each other in the mall car park, relieved that the other was still breathing.
The only reason they ended up moving was Doc's desire to leave before the terrorists removed themselves from the remains of the video cassette stall they'd crashed into.
This wasn't to say, though, that Marty shared the same sentiment. The scientist had had to use quite a bit of coaxing to get him to let go, and even then, Marty was still extremely anxious. He kept looking between the unconscious terrorists and Doc, as though he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Doc couldn't blame him. He technically was a dead man walking, after all.
The drive back to the lab was almost silent. Doc had decided to leave his work van at the mall until the morning, or at least until Marty had been tended to. One look at the haunted expression in the young man's eyes was more than enough evidence that he needed support right now.
It didn't occur to him until he was pulling up in his driveway that he'd forgotten to tell Marty they weren't going straight to the lab, rather than the McFly's residence. He turned the Delorean's engine off, staring blankly at the garage interior as he allowed himself to breathe. I nearly got him killed…What kind of a mentor am I?
The teenager, his face red and stained with sweat and tears, looked at him curiously. "Doc?…"
Doc's breath hitched. He couldn't bear to look at Marty in that moment, lest he allow his resolve to break. "I need to apologise to you, Marty, and…and I think now is the best time to do this."
Marty opened his mouth to interject, but Doc held up a shaking hand. "Please, Marty. Please let me do this. I've waited thirty years to say some of this, and I'm not going to wait any longer."
Startled by the scientist's outburst, Marty sunk back into his seat, wiping his eyes on the back of his hand.
"I've been so selfish with building this time machine," Doc confessed. "I could've tried harder with finding an alternate power source, or perhaps waiting longer to experiment with future technology. But I was so impatient; I desperately wanted to test this device before I got too old….Before I wasn't able to move and think as well as I would've in my youth. So I was careless, and I decided conning terrorists to get some radioactive material was the solution."
Doc forced himself to turn towards Marty. "…Do you know what the hardest part of that experiment was?"
Marty's lip trembled, clearly on the verge of a fresh wave of tears. "…What?"
"H-Having to lie there, and listen to you scream at them," Doc whispered. "Y-You weren't meant to be there, I-I shouldn't have put you at risk like that-"
The scientist was interrupted by Marty throwing his arms around him, both men shaking in the embrace as the full weight of the night's events crashed down on them. Neither chose to acknowledge that the other was sobbing; they instead chose to delight in the fact that they were both safe.
An eternity had passed before they separated, leaning back wearily in their seats.
"Come in for a bit, Marty," Doc said quietly. "I think I owe you a drink."
In ordinary circumstances, Marty's jaw would've fallen open with jokes and exclamations about how much Doc hated alcohol and its place as the 'root of all evil'. Tonight, however, he only opted for a solemn nod, and the two men exited the vehicle with a fresh wave of exhaustion rushing over them.

🤍🤍🤍🤍 for you know who, bitch! (luv u)
me seeing this in my inbox like i didn't ask you to send me memes 😯
RELATIONSHIP HEADCANON MEMES. for @hclyrcller luv u
aaron &. willow——
Who cooks meals for the other? They cook for each other! I think Aaron and Willow are the type of couple who have set date nights, and they like to alternate on who comes up with the plan but I also think they’re very casual about it
Who spams the other with memes? Willow :)
Who likes to tidy around the house? I think Aaron most likely enjoys it more because spending most of his adolescence on a tour bus kind of resulted in him reveling in having a real home to clean up
Who likes to play pranks on the other? Willow would absolutely play pranks on Aaron more often, but Aaron would save really good pranks for Willow and do them sporadically so she never catches on
Who asked the other to move in with them? I think it was a conversation between the two of them and where they think they’re at in their relationship, but considering Aaron lives in a loft with roommates, he would ask to find a place for just the two of them
Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? Aaron says that he’s in charge and then Willow changes the song every five seconds
Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? Aaron >:)
Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? I don’t know if either of them would be scared tbh
Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? They’re both fine with technology
Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? That’s a Willow thing, baby!!! Aaron’s not mad about it tho
Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? Tbh I think it depends on what their schedules are for the day. If Aaron has a show one night and Willow wakes up earlier the following morning, she wouldn’t wake him up, but there are also times when Aaron has to be up first and may or may not wake her up, etc. They don’t follow normal 9–5 schedules so it’s not always consistent.
Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? Willow lmaooo Aaron tries to take good pictures of Willow on his phone but he’s not the best at catching the perfect moments. It’s great for having embarrassing pictures of her as his contact photo, though
Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? Willow had to force Aaron to put his card on his phone because he kept forgetting his wallet
Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? I think Aaron is a very still and silent sleeper (again, because of living on a tour bus for a long time), but I don’t know if it’s Willow
Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? They’re both ruthless
Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? Probably Willow
blake &. cami——
Who cooks meals for the other? Camille :’) cooking is a love language for her. The first time she cooked a meal for Blake, she was very nervous
Who spams the other with memes? Camille likes to spam Blake when he’s at work
Who likes to tidy around the house? Blake. Camille isn’t messy but she is forgetful and she likes to have a lot of stuff out
Who likes to play pranks on the other? I don’t think they’re pranking people
Who asked the other to move in with them? Well :/ their parents technically
Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? Camille takes full control and then slaps Blake’s hand if he tries to change it
Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? Blake, but rarely
Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? Camille would see Blake get nervous during a scary movie and then tease him about wanting her to hold him
Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? They’re both fine with it
Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? They’re both pretty into it. I think Camille was shocked at how into it Blake was
Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? They’re both up pretty early, Blake because he has to be up for work and Camille because she actually really enjoys waking up early regardless of her terrible sleeping habits
Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? They both take pictures of each other all the time
Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? Camille
Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? Camille will complain that Blake’s snoring is keeping her up but she’s just being dramatic
Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? Camille’s never touch a video game controller in her life
Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? Camille
lucille &. monty——
Who cooks meals for the other? I think Monty would want to cook for Lucille, but she loves to bake for him
Who spams the other with memes? Monty would
Who likes to tidy around the house? I think they’re both pretty good at keeping their house neat
Who likes to play pranks on the other? Lucille. She grew up in a house with four other sister, she’s pretty good at it
Who asked the other to move in with them? Monty did 😭
Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? Monty. Lucille doesn’t care much
Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? Monty would absolutely
Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? Monty would hold Lucille :’)
Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? They’d both be lost
Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? Hear me out. Lucille
Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? I think Lucille wakes up earlier but she would let Monty sleep in
Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? Both :)
Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? Neither of them
Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? Lucille is a pretty restless sleeper
Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? Mayyybe Monty would be better but he would also pretend to suck so Lucille could win
Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? They both do it probably
nari &. samir——
Who cooks meals for the other? Nari can barely boil water and I feel like Samir is a “I eat food for sustenance, not enjoyment” kind of person 💀 they get takeout if i’m wrong pls correct me
Who spams the other with memes? Nari would do it just to frustrate him
Who likes to tidy around the house? I get Samir vibes, I feel like he’s pretty fussy about it. Nari is a clutter queen <3
Who likes to play pranks on the other? I don’t think they’re pranking people. Neither of them have great senses of genuine humor, their humor is more sarcastic or dry and cutting than like, jokes yk
Who asked the other to move in with them? I imagine one day Nari just didn’t go home and neither of them ever spoke about it
Who is in charge of the music during a car ride? They fight over the music
Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? Nari isn’t ticklish but she would at least try with Samir
Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? In the beginning Nari pretends to be scared
Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? Nari helps Samir
Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? Nari 💀 Actually you know what, Samir too. They’re heathens
Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? I feel like Samir is up at the crack of dawn but he does let Nari sleep in. Nari’s sleep schedule is all over the place, but she does usually have to be up early as well to get to rehearsals
Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? I get Samir vibes 😭
Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? Nari
Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? I genuinely feel like neither of make any noise and they sleep completely still
Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? I swear for the life of me I cannot imagine them playing video games
Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other? Samir’s pretty stealthy and Nari’s a ballerina—they’re both very quiet on their feet. Neither of them.

Our all-inclusive blockchain fork development services enable businesses to improve performance over time and innovate more sustainably in the tech sector.

How To Fork a Blockchain Using Blockchain Fork Development?
Using blockchain fork development to fork a blockchain involves several kinds of steps and factors. Here is an outline of how to fork a blockchain:
Choose the Right Fork: Hard and soft forks are the two main types of forks. Hard forks generate a new blockchain that is different from the previous one and involve significant protocol changes. On the other side, soft forks bring about backward-compatible modifications ensuring that the new chain is compatible with the existing network.
Define the Purpose: Briefly describe the purpose of your fork. Is it to add new features, fix vulnerabilities, improve scalability, or develop an alternative network with unique rules? A clear purpose aids in guiding the development process.
Plan the Fork: Create an extensive strategy for the fork, including the time frame, technical specifications, consensus process, governance model, and any changes to the existing source. Block rewards, mining algorithms, block size, difficulty changes, and consensus rules are a few things to think about.
Create Development Environment: Create a development environment so you can change the blockchain algorithms that are already in use. You'll need to access their respective source files depending on the blockchain platform you're forking from, such as Binance Smart Chain, Tron, Ethereum, or another one.
Alter the Codebase: Change the codebase as required to achieve the goals of your fork. This could entail adding new functions, changing settings, or fixing security holes. Make sure you comprehend the existing code well and how your modifications will affect it.
Test and debug: Make sure your modified code works as planned by running a thorough test on it. Perform thorough testing to find and fix any flaws or vulnerabilities. This increases the split blockchain's stability and security.
Deploy the Forked Chain: After extensively testing your forked blockchain, it's time to launch it into live. Create the framework required to support the new blockchain, including nodes and network connectivity. Make sure to let users and stakeholders know about the launch and migration plan.
Maintain and Upgrade: After the fork, keep up with maintaining and updating the forked blockchain. Keep an eye on how it performs, deal with any problems that emerge, and take community suggestions into consideration. Update the codebase frequently to maintain your distinctive features while keeping up with the developments in the original blockchain.
Community Engagement: Engage with the community to promote the adoption of your forked blockchain. Communicate the perks, enhancements, and unique features to attract users, developers, and miners.
