Wonho - Overwatch (12)

The rest of the date went well. The flirting was prominent, and sarcasm was flung at every turn, just the way you liked it.

“Oh, I was going to bring something up to you last week and I totally forgot.” Wonho said as you guys were riding the ferris wheel.

“And what’s that?” you asked him.

“There’s a charity Overwatch tournament happening.  Different celebrities from all over the country are going to get together on teams and raise money for charity.  My team has an open spot and I wanted to know if you wanted to fill it before we asked anyone else.”

“Really?!” you asked, excited about doing another Overwatch tournament, especially one for charity.

“Absolutely.  It makes sense.  You’re the best player I’ve seen and it’s another excuse to see you more. I’m all for that.  We’ll have a few practices all together, and then we’ll play online when we can before the tournament.” he admitted.

“Tell me the dates so when I get home I can make sure I’m available, but I’m in.  Who else is on the team.”

“Well let’s see, there’s Mark from Got7, and then there’s Taehyung and Junkook from BTS.  Then of course, me, your awesome boyfriend, and you if you can do it.”

“You throw those names out there as if it’s nothing! That’s one hell of a team you’ve put together my god.  All that hotness on one team, you’ll win just by showing up!” you said loudly.

“You’re uninvited.” Wonho said suddenly.

“What?! That’s not fair!” you whined, grabbing on to his arm with both hands.

“Too bad. I don’t need you drooling over my friends.” He said jokingly.

“Um, there’d be no drooling. I have more self control than that!” you defended.

“Wow, you’re heartless.” Wonho said, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you close.

“Honestly though, I’d love to do something for charity. You can never have enough chances to give back.” you said, resting your head on his shoulder.

You watched as he pulled his out his phone and text someone about dates for the tournament.  Once his phone dinged with a response, he forwarded that message to you so you could look at it later.

“The nice thing with my job is I can stream around the schedule as long as there’s not any other obligations with my team.  I might a few practices, but if that’s alright I’d like to do it.”

“If any of us miss practice it might as well be you. Ya know, being the pro and all.” he said, laughing lightly.

Why do I make these decisions? Why did I think this would be a good idea? Why am I such an idiot?! You asked yourself for the fifteenth time today.

It ended up working out with your schedule to play in the tournament so you offered up your house as a meeting place.  You had more than space and all the guys had spare computers there in the different rooms so it would make the most sense.  

But now you were panicking.  You tried stocking your fridge with things they’d like to eat and drink and make sure your house wasn’t a mess. Banks, your Savannah cat, followed you around the house as you were pacing.  Wonho had yet to actually meet him since he never came out when he was there. Just then you heard a knock.

As you went to answer the door, Banks sat in the middle of the kitchen floor and waited.

You opened the door and immediately saw Wonho’s smiling face.

“Thought I’d come a little early to calm you down. I bet you’re freaking out right now.” he said putting his hand on your shoulder.

“I actually am, thank you.”  you opened the door all the way and let him in.

You weren’t paying attention and you ran right into Wonho’s back as you were walking after him.

“What the hell dude?” you asked.

“What is that?” he asked, pointing at Banks.

“Aw, that’s my Bansky. He’s my kitty.” you said, picking Banksy up.

“No, that’s a wild fucking animal.” Wonho said, backing up a little.

“Dude. He’s part serval. And he’s not even that big” That was a lie. He was a huge cat, bordering the size of a medium dog. But he was your baby,

“We’re a package deal babe, so come say hi!” you said.

Wonho looked at you apprehensively, but stepped forward slowly.  As soon as his hand was outstretched enough, Banks rubbed his head all over it.  You could see the apprehension fall off Wonho’s face, and he smiled.

“He’s really cute.” Wonho said, petting him.  Banks then surprised you both when he jumped out of your arms and into Wonho’s.  You could already tell that you were going to have a hard time separating the two of them from now on.

Great, both my cat and my boyfriend are going to replace me with each other. This is awesome.

But before you had time to contemplate that too much further, there was another knock at your door.

“Fuck, I’m not ready.” you said, walking towards the door.

“Oh, um...you should also know that I didn’t tell them who you were so they have no idea  you’re playing with us.”

“I’m breaking up with you.” You said, sulking towards the door.

You opened it and came face to face with Jungkook and Taehyung.

“Oh, I think we have the wrong house. I’m sorry.” Taehyung said.

“No, this is the right house.” you said, ushering them in.

You could tell both boys were confused, but walked into the house none the less.

“Hey guys.” you heard Wonho say.  He had made his way to your couch, Banks sprawled out over him.

“So, who’s our fifth player?” Taehyung asked, looking around.

“Uh...that’d be me” you said raising your hand.

“Holy shit! You’re Y/n!” Jungkook said from your other side.

“I am. Nice to meet you.” you said, extending your hand to him.

“I watched your tournament where your team beat Lunatic Hai. It was amazing, they’re the best in the country.” he said, shaking your hand.

“So you really did take her up on the 1v1 offer huh?” Jungkook asked, sitting on the couch next Wonho.

“Yep. She whooped my ass. It was embarrassing.” he admitted.

The final member of your team joined just then.

‘I’ll get it.” Wonho said, standing up from the couch.

You offered Jungkook and Taehyung drinks as Wonho was getting the door.  Walking in the kitchen you were met face to face with Mark.

“Jesus, hi.” you said, startled at his presence.

“Oh, hello.” he said, looking between you and Wonho.

“This is Y/n, our fifth member.” Wonho introduced you.

“Hello. I was just getting the others a drink, want one.”

Luckily you’d done a little research and stocked some of their favorite things.  No one could say you were a shitty host.

“So is this your house?” Jungkook asked coming into the kitchen.

“It is.  I bought it a couple years ago.” you said setting their drinks down in front of them.

“That’s pretty impressive for someone so young.” Mark said.

“I mean, technically I’m older than all of you, but yeah, I’m still young.” you said smiling.

“Also, she’s better than probably all of us combined so we should take her advice if she has any.” Wonho said.

“Better than all of us, huh?” Mark asked.

“She’s a professional Overwatch player.  Just beat out the best team in the country a few weeks ago at a tournament. She’s amazing.” Jungkook said.

“Dude, you’re making me blush.” you said, slapping him on the shoulder. You could hear the other laughing at the two of you.

“Well, it’s true. I’m so glad you’re on our team. I could really learn a lot from you. But can I ask one question?” Jungkook said, seeming kind of shy.

“Sure, what’s up?” you asked.

“Do you have a boyfriend? Is he going to be uncomfortable if he comes and there’s a bunch of random guys in your house?”

“I do.  And he is pretty jealous.  He almost kicked me off the team before I even got a chance to start!” you said, smirking.

“Oh, that’s not good. Are you sure it’s worth it?” Mark asked, sounding genuinely concerned.

“Oh, it’s worth it.  I think he likes my cat more than me anyway.  He can be a bit of a fool sometimes.”

“I’m not a fool! And I don’t like Banks more than you, he’s just such a cool cat!” you heard Wonho yell from beside you.

You burst out laughing at all the shocked faces from around the table.

“You’re dating Wonho?!” Jungkook asked.

“Way to go dip shit.” You said laughing as Wonho threw a hand over his mouth.
