There was a smile on his face he saw Milo’s positive reaction, rubbing the back of his neck. “There’s a guitar store in Spikemuth, so I figured why not get one since I’m gonna be teachin’ you how to play one?” He then nodded at Milo’s assumption. He’d taken a flying taxi, because there was no way he’d be able to physically walk all the way to Turfield without his legs giving out. But the important part was that he’d made it and Milo enjoyed the gift. “You’re welcome.”

As he stepped inside, he couldn’t help but chuckle at Milo hugging the guitar. It was honestly quite a relief, considering how much he’d fretted over which guitar to get him, or even to get him a guitar at all. Obviously worrying greatly over if he’d like it. Turns out, he had nothing to worry about. He raised an eyebrow at Milo words. “Huh? What do you mean by that? You.. got me somethin’, too?”

“Welcome, Master~!” It was a little embarrassing to say but a little fun at the same time. Cheeks flushed, the young woman shyly held the menu close to her chest. “Where would you like to sit~?”

He knows the youngest gym leader is...a little strange to say the least. Though it would seem Allister was either lost or just forgot that he was standing in front of the store front. It was a little hard to tell sometimes considering the kid wore a mask all the time. Raihan decided to see what the little guy was up to, walking up and bending down to Allister’s level. “What’cha doin’ there Allister? Did ya want to go into the cafe for lunch?”

A Chance Meeting?

It was quite a cold day in Circhester, snow falling on the old and beautiful city in Galar’s Northeast. Madison was visiting the city for a couple days as both a vacation and training session. The rugged, snowy wilderness around the city were perfect for training his pokemon. There were also plenty of trainers around the city who were willing to have some friendly battles. It was a great combination. Besides, he couldn’t help but enjoy the idea of visiting some of the historic sites as well. The hero’s bath in particular sounded fascinating. However, at the moment, the man was quite cold.

“Oof... it’s quite chilly... we should probably get inside, huh?”

Madison asks his loyal Lucario companion, who was following along beside him, as he clutched onto the hem of his thicker jacket. His Pokemon nodded in agreement, and he looked around for a place to warm up. Ah, there we go, he thought. There was a cafe nearby, and the two swiftly made their way in. Now out of the cold, they took a second to sit down at a nearby table, slowly warming from the central heating.

“Let’s see about getting something while we’re here...”

He said, looking out into the restaurant to see if they had a visible menu. Might as well sit down for awhile, he thought.

milo places a small tin of sugar with a teaspoon between the lid && container, handle peaking out then a jar of honey. a spoon is neatly placed on top before the warm drink is placed in front of his guest. he sits down in the chair across from gordie, his tea already good && doctored. 

❝ alright, gordie. i’d be remiss to say this is ... one of the stranger things i’ve heard while having tea. however, it’s a bit . . .  random, i would wager. i. . .  can’t say i know what you’re tryin’ to say ? ❞

Oliver who was a trainer was making his way to the next gym. It was an ice type, he knew because as soon as he arrived he felt cold. He had watched Melony on tv sometimes and had a secret crush. He wanted to battle her as the young male eventually spotted her and heard her say something about ice cream “ I wouldn’t mind getting some ice cream either before a gym battle.” The brown haired male said to her as he grinned a little.

“My goddness.” Meloney waves her hand before her face. “My gym is always nice and chilly, but out here the sun is blazing. I could really go for some ice cream to cool down.”

Milo Thread Starter for @welcometrainers

Travelling tourist and veteran trainer of Unova, Abigail Lee, was sight seeing in the lovely region of Galar with her just-as-lovely Appletun partner. She was currently in Turffield, leaning on a nearby railing as she traced the image of the geoglyph with her gaze. She glanced down at her Appletun, gently nudging her side to get her attention,

"What do you think? Isn't it cool that this thing has remained for several years?"

Appletun let out a grumbly chirp of agreement, a smile on her cute little face. Abigail laughed quietly, soon picking up her partner and tucking her into a hand-made knit bag before leaving the tourist sight. Appletun was a bit pampered, as one could tell. She gently pet the little apple cap on her Appletun's head,

"C'mon, let's go window shopping!"

Following the trodden dirt pathway, she came across a little flower shop. She smiled at how beautifully they had grown, while simultaneously keeping Appletun out of nipping reach of the petals. As she was walking past, her attention focused on the flowers, she accidentally bumped into someone! Gasping quietly, she began to apologize profusely,

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!"

As she tried to pardon herself, she recognized who the person was. It was none other than Turffield's own gym leader, Milo! Now she felt even more embarrassed for bumping into someone of importance to this town. She could feel her cheeks warm up to sport a light red hue, what a great first impression.

There was a slight hint of regret as he saw Milo nearly drop the bags he’d been holding, leading to him taking a step back. He was quite relieved once he regained control of the bags. “Eh, yeah, I tend to creep up on people like that,” he said with a chuckle. “Happens to me sometimes, too. Just start singing’ outta nowhere. You’re welcome, though. Your voice sounded just fine to me.”

With it being so late at night, she hadn’t expected to run into anyone. But Allister? Now that was interesting.
