The Hunters short, gnarled fingers that used to look very different had started to tap a melody against the wood of the table she was standing beside: No badump-badump-badump like the heartbeats of the Mafioso around them, but more a Tack-tack-tack. The melody of a heartbeat echoing in a body in which every single bone had been broken one and healed back together stronger. The frown on Senritsus round face turned even heavier and the line between her eyes drew a shadow on her forehead like an fresh injury. Neon had wanted to go to the bodypart-collectors party to mingle between people who had the same hobby as her.And the girl dived into the crowd to happily flutter from one exhibition piece to the other as if she was a young child visiting a pet-zoo. The light was low in the dancehall,turned the blue tiled floor black and the yellow preservation fluid in the glassboxes of the exhibition pieces darker as if the bodyparts had been drenched in gold. Flowers had been put on every table with drinks to hide the stench of rot laying as a thick blanket over the hall.

"Mhmmmm....I know your target is not my boss, because if that would be the case, she would already be dead." like a thoughtful bird Senritsu titled her head from one side to another, thinking. The young woman had worked long enough in the Mafia to recognize the heartbeat of a professional assassin and she was so used to that melody, that she noticed how calm she was herself. The realisation did not let her feel good about herself in the slightest. In the beginning of the evening Senritsu had went to the bodypart collectors mansion kitchen and brewed herself a can of black tea, so now she just refilled her cup, mixed sugar and milk from the small cans put on the table beside her and took a sip even if the familiar taste did not gave her any comfort over that realisation about herself. "And I would probably too be very dead but I am still alive and I am thankful for that because I happen to like to be alive. Its a very mhmmm... lesto expierence. Beeing alive, that is. Thank you very much."I don´t want to die, she thought realistically and an another part of her added very quietly: I do not want anyone to die here at all.

"Would you give me a fair warning before you start? That girl is only fifteen years old and I would not like her to see... such things." She took another sip of her tea, wondering worried if there was anything she could do. Wondering with even more worry if she actually could do something. Wondering even heavier why she was hestiating to do anything. I don´t want to die, the woman thought realistically and an another part of her added very sad: I do not want anyone to die here at all.

It was a normal thing, for a queen to have her opponents, but honestly, Mei-Rin had never thought that there was someone who disliked her so much to wish her death. Moreover, to kill her.
