I like how good things happen to Verge and they don’t like, reject or repel them, their emotional trauma is not that they don’t think they deserve good things. You don’t become a pirate because you think you don’t deserve good things. I like that Verge finds a nice place to live, with pleasant community, a nice bed, and no boredom but due to a very sexy past the only way they know how to express their satisfaction with that is to evil laugh like a villain. Truly fuck the triad, Verge has an address now. what a win.

Love how midnight burger reflects that feeling of thinking that you could have a normal romanticized life but instead constantly having the weight of things unimaginably large weighing on you and pulling apart any sense of stability except for maybe a hand full of people to cling onto and hold close. That’s how I feel a lot of the time.
