When Taylor says to Buck after they make up in season 4(I think), "you didn't chase after me," and the next shot after she leaves is Buck running, literally sprinting to the hospital to see Eddie

I was thinking, yeah of course he didn't chase after you, he was too busy running to Eddie

anyway fun times

all women do is leave him and he never chases them and meanwhile we have multiple instances where he drops everything including his girlfriend sometimes to run to Eddie (even after Eddie "left" in s5)

                          They had told her the exact same thing when she awoke. She already knew that though, had felt a calmness wash over before the cold air returned to her lungs. However, Larissa had made it a point to come see the other woman. There had been pushback, of course, from all directions; Morticia who had been at her side, the sheriff and mayor both making their opinions known. She listened and took them all under advisement, but she still pushed to be allowed to visit the woman. There were many questions that needed answers that only Laurel Gates could provide. So there she sat in a small room, a metal table between them and cameras off ( she felt that sheriff Galpin owed her a favor though he made a fuss about it but in the end agreed to it. )

“I did, yes,” she spoke softly, hands resting in her lap as she stared across at Laurel, posture relaxed given the circumstances. “They said if it had not been for a very low dosage of nightshade as well as the tolerance I obtain...I would have remained dead.” Tone remained calm and even, spoken with the same elegance that Weems held, as if this were a meeting of friends.

tumblr blackout proposal

tumblr mobile has steadily become near unusable these past few updates. not just from a user experience perspective (which is important enough in itself) but also from an accessibility perspective.

examples include the new way the image viewer works (if you can call it "working"), the tumblr live button replacing the profile button, and that newly created blogs will be forced to have their main dashboard tab be the 'for you' page.

the demands of the protest would be along the lines of:

reverse the recent image viewer update

scrap the new users 'for you' page default setting

let us turn off tumblr live indefinitely

increase efforts against spam / porn bots

make reporting abuse and hate speech as easy as reporting as reporting spam

let us go nuts show nuts again... for real this time

remove flashing ads, including not accepting blaze campaigns for posts with flashing in them

commit to improving usability and accessibility, and listening to users!

(suggestions welcome!)

to protest against these usability issues, and inspired by the recent reddit blackout, i propose a 48 hour blackout (where you don't use tumblr at all). preferably of both mobile and web (since web has problems too) but mobile is the focus here.

[edit: a 'blackout' is when you don't log in, or interact with the site at all, for [x] amount of time.]

I suggest from the 30th of June.

this marks the end of pride month (for the "queerest place on the internet") and the start of disability month (since accessibility is a massive issue here).

i can't afford to blaze this post so please spread it around as much as possible! protests only work if significant numbers show up!

edit: tumblr rejected the blaze campaigns for this post because they know it would hurt them. let's make this an indefinite blackout - it's the best way to get results.

“What We Do In the Shadows”

                           It wasn’t often that she had coffee with a students parent, but it was always welcomed. Especially when she got out of the school and ventured into town despite the odd looks thrown her way, all of which that was ignored with ease. Larissa also enjoyed when meetings were called to express praise of a student as she didn’t enjoy the negative parts of her job.

A smile graced the principals face as hands remained wrapped around warm cup of coffee, a chuckle leaving her as she listened to Lily Munster. “Well,” she began, shaking her head, “I suppose that is both one way to clean while being efficient.”
