The Holiday AU ㅡ Yoonjin/Minjoon In which Seokjin and Jimin, two heartbroken young men, meet through a website to exchange their houses in an attempt to heal and take care of themselves. Seokjin refuses to believe in love anymore and ends up in Jimin's isolated house, in the middle of fields. All is good the first few days until, one night, there's some hard banging on the door. And when Seokjin opens the door, he is face to face with a very tipsy but also very handsome Min Yoongi who happens to be Jimin's friend. At the same time, Jimin, an inspiring singer who had a one-sided crush on his vocal teacher ends up at Seokjin's place and eventually meets Seokjin's best friend, Kim Namjoon who happens to be a composer. These two bond over music, spend a lot of time in music stores and grow closer as they did so. It's not that easy for Seokjin and Yoongi. Seokjin protects his heart and doesn't allow himself to believe in something serious. Yoongi is a single dad of a five years old Jungkook and doesn't want to take the risk of introducing someone to his son, especially someone who isn't here to stay. Somehow though, they keep crossing paths. At the mall, in the streets... and one night, Yoongi once again finds himself at Jimin's place to see Seokjin. Both are quite drunk and fall into bed together, over and over. They easily get attached to each other, despite everything, despite the knowledge that Seokjin leaves in one week. One night, Seokjin shows up unannounced at Yoongi's place and meets his son, Jungkook, to his biggest surprise. The three of them have one of the nights ever as it's filled with softness and laughter and whispered in a blanket fort. When the day comes for Seokjin to leave, it's heartbreaking for them both. They still part... Until Seokjin realizes he is crying for the first time in ten years. That's when he knows he can't leave... And, well, he doesn't.
