i'm being really normal and regular about mad rex asking for taiya to kill him. i haven't been staring at my computer screen and talking to myself for three hours. what would possess you to think such a thing about me? i assure you i am taking this information in the most level-headed manner one could possibly think of.

anyways.

[about the actual episode though this might be one of my favorites of the more episodic / fun-focused entries! i was a bit worried how we'd follow up with this premise after last week but i was really surprised! it might just be that i love all mira focuses that is entirely possible. but she really shone this ep! (i loved her taking over both the role call and being the main driver of boondorio, especially with the new insert song!) also somehow i forgot the toqger crossover was upcoming even though i knew ahead of time so it surprised me a lot in the preview lol.]

this week's episode was a welcome return to form i think! i have my Thoughts about how the second lap has been structured, but since my wishes were granted this week and i'm back to looking forward to upcoming developments (and i don't think me going on and on abt it fits this sort of post) i won't get into it today.

ANYWAY! i really enjoyed sakito's fight with cannonborg. i think most importantly i really enjoyed that it felt like the team was working together even when the 1v1 moments are happening, which is something i think was i beginning to miss what with sakito and boonred 119's debuts being so solo / duo focused. tho it would have been nice if they had cut to the team fending off the sanseaters lol. hopefully this will continue to be the case for the future!

ANYWAY none of this matters..... genba and ishiro sharing candied apples..... waaaaa..... mad rex in the promotional poster...... yayyyyyyy i've only watched like half an episode of toqger but toqger crossover confirmed..... genba looking foreboding in the preview images..... more information about the isa..... i'm #winning. my crops are watered my garden is flourishing my hope and optimism are restored o7

anyway this week boonboomger fun. the more it gets revealed that taiya's whole mysterious deal is more because he's awkward and not for any intentionally secretive or stoic reasons i'm so endeared. like awww. i'm going to hug him and crush his bones like boondorio did :)
