Wednesday Addams birthchart (based on Wednesday 2022 TV show)

Wednesday is about 16 in the show so she’s born 2006 and it’s stated she’s born on a Friday the 13th so that’s either October or January. I picked January because I felt that she was more a Capricorn than a Libra and because in the show I think most of the story takes place in the fall-winter semester. Parents visiting for the holidays, it appears to be autumn during the Poe Cup, the Rave’N is very winter themed but takes place before her birthday. The shows filming was from September to March so the earlier episodes take place in autumn and the later ones in winter/early spring. Since her birthday occurs in episode 6 (later in the season) I think it’s more likely January 13, 2006.

Her birthplace is probably Westfield, NJ since that’s where the original creator, Charles Addams, lived.

As for her birth time… I actually didn’t make it noon for her. The Addams family is so heavy handed on goth symbolism(she’s literally born on Friday the 13th) that I thought it was more appropriate for her birth time to be during the witching hour at either midnight or 3 AM. In this case looking at both charts, I like the 3 AM one better for her.

The 7 Ancient Planets Since ancient times there have been 7 Ancient Planets: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury with the Sun and Moon being also classed as Planets (or more correctly, Celestial Bodies). Eastern, Five Element: As above, but Mercury is Metal Each planet has associations based on the Elements, Organs and Humors: Saturn is associated with the Earth, Spleen and Melancholy Jupiter with Air (Wood), Liver, Metabolism and Blood Mars with Fire, Heart, Circulation and Bile Venus with Water, Kidney, Fluid and Phlegm Mercury is associated with balance Sun with Fire, Heart and Yang Moon with Water, Kidneys and Yin So an Herb assigned to Jupiter will tend to nourish Liver and Blood, and so with the other Planets. Each Day of the Week is also assigned to a Planet from which their names are derived: Sunday–Sun Monday–Moon Tuesday–Mars Wednesday–Mercury Thursday–Jupiter Friday–Venus Saturday–Saturn A Lunar herb is best collected on the day of the Moon (Monday), and so with the other planets. Also, a cool herb could be more Yin tonic in nature if collected on a Monday, as compared to if collected on a Saturday which may be better to clear Heat and Damp. The day was also divided into equal proportions between sunrise and sunset, with each period being allocated a planet. So the first hour after sunrise on Sunday is allocated to the Sun, the next the Moon, and so on throughout the day. So a Lunar herb is best collected on Monday, and in the hour of the Moon. Later, this was taken further, and the Natal (Birth) chart was used to ascertain weaknesses in the Chart which could be treated or prevented with appropriate Medicine. Medical Astrologists would look for weaknesses in the Birth chart and aim to strengthen them with medicines. Even today in India, certain Healers study the Birth chart for weaknesses, then prescribe a particular Gem stone to be worn on a particular finger to restore balance. Each planet has an associated color, and stones of that color were associated with the planet. Astrology and the energetics associated with the Planets is just another method of energetic correspondence that was used by the Ancients to better understand and work with the Universe they lived in.

thoughts on the first episode of 4 minutes

everyone seems to be doing these now, so i'll join in bc i need a way to process what i just saw. putting this under a cut bc of spoilers—if you are familiar with boc's other works (especially kinnporsche and dff) i strongly recommend you try and avoid spoilers before watching! i watched this episode not knowing what was coming and That Scene made me shriek so loudly i probably scared my neighbours. ANYWAY.

okay let's get the big thing out of the way first. bas and fuaiz. HOLY SHIT. i was literally pausing the whole time to text my friend just "WHAT" over and over. They Did That.

let me break this down. boc took one look at the current politics regarding shipped couples in bl, said "yeah we're not doing that" and let bas and fuaiz have a whole entire sex scene. (while gmmtv, for example, let phuwin and thor not even touch lips on wednesday club because phuwin is part of a sacred Shipped Couple.) AND WHAT A SEX SCENE IT WAS!!! i am pretty sure we're gonna see everyone's bare ass over the course of this show. if this is what they're showing us in the very first episode for a couple who i'm guessing might not be endgame?? i mean. damn. what will jes and bible get up to??? mark me down as scared and horny 🫣

sex in boc shows is usually pretty explicit but in this case it's also. just a thing two people do? it's not romanticised. it's strongly implied that tonkla is having sex with korn because korn is paying him for it. korn is older and from an incredibly rich family, and while they were sweet with each other and obviously both enjoyed it, it did feel like a transaction a little bit.

what i found most impressive about this scene was that we got to see tonkla being left alone afterwards and then visibly dealing with that. we could watch him processing—i don't think i've ever seen this kind of post sex unhappiness depicted in bl, and it was so beautifully subtle! we don't yet know whether tonkla was just unhappy with how that particular evening went or if he is unhappy with the arrangement as a whole, but Something Is Definitely Up and it is so incredibly intriguing.

while we're talking about korn, the family dynamics in this show have me in a chokehold. bas and bible as brothers was a genius casting choice, they really do feel like siblings, they have a very sweet vibe together while korn is obviously worried about his younger brother. the whole deal with their father's illegal business of which korn only learns when he is supposed to manage it, the way korn treats his father in general, korn's mother having passed away shortly after his birth and korn being raised by his step-mother (great's mom), it's all so incredibly juicy. bas just has so much presence on screen, he is an absolutely wonderful actor and at this point, i am almost more invested in his story than in the main story 🤭

speaking of which: love that bible got one of his cats to act with him 😂😂 thailand's number one cat dad. but yeah, i am Intrigued, i am seated, i am so happy to be alive to witness this. i don't think there's a lot to be said on this yet bc most of the episode was exposition and great learning about his new powers, and also the narrative tying them to near-death experiences so that we know what we're dealing with going forward. (shout-out to job here bc it was so nice to see him again and also so weird to see him as a character who is actually smart haha 😂)

the production value of this show is off the charts. the first scene of great being pulled back in time was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING. literally the best i've ever seen out of thailand. boc are taking their craft very seriously and it is just such a joy to watch.

also, the numbers everywhere! it got to the point that i was like, oh of COURSE she is in room number 4, WHERE ELSE?? 😂😂

Caveat: this may not have much of a personal impact on you unless Pallas is prominent in your birth chart (closely in aspect to the Sun, the Moon, &/or an angle).

Pallas is now more of a trigger, setting off what the slower-moving planets are up to. Basically, it’s a good time to explore and branch out in Pallas’ various areas:

Creative wisdom and intelligence

Arts and artisans

Political activism (cringing a little bit here; Sag can be preachy, overzealous, and judgemental)

Professional excellence

Sagittarius is a dual sign, and therefore it can go either way. For example, we may be terribly jingoistic and obnoxious about our nation/religion - but we can go the other way, too, and fall in love with other cultures, to the point of cultural appropriation. Happy Wincest Wednesday, Liz! What dynamic do you like most: Older Dean/Younger Sam (maybe picture a larger age difference...) or Younger Dean/Older Sam?

hello hello, thank you for sending this and sorry that yesterday got crazy abruptly and so I couldn't answer then :/ but! I am answering now and hopefully that counts for something --

I meannnn am I an asshole about canon? You bet I am. So obv the canon age difference is my favorite, haha. But I know age difference!AUs are mainly about porn, so I should care less about that kind of thing (even though I never do, I'm sitting there with some lad getting turnt out going but what are the canonical ramifications of that character choice. I am always and very tediously myself).

Let's expand it to e.g. a 15 year age diff for Older Dean/y!Sam, and I guess for the fun of it let's assume it's like s15 Dean with s1 Sam, and man. I guess the parental element of their relationship would go off the charts. And lbr, it'd be hot, of course it would. Especially with that raw raring-to-go Sam, all that misplaced fury and confusion. I mean he's 22, he's a baby. If it's just age-diff then he'd really treat Dean as a surrogate dad and not like a brother; if it's a time travel situation somehow, then Dean would have all that weight of knowing what'll happen to this gangly uncooked kid and ohhh boy, the miseries that'd follow. And that is fun, really. Plus s15 Dean could fuck Sam and make him see stars. Something to be said for brothers with experience. :)

That said, I have nooo interest in y!Dean/older!Sam as an AU age difference thing. I've worked it through it various treatments and it just fucks their characters up in too fundamental a way -- everything about their characterization is tied up in their birth order and the 4ish year age gap and it is important. Plus, half the time the only reason an older!Sam fic has been written is so that he can top and it'll be "right," because the unimaginative can't understand how a younger partner could top. Get better at character work, the unimaginative!

If it's a time travel sitch (let's say s15 Sam and s1 Dean, again), then I'm more interested. But again, it's just because of the full weight of worldly experience and the horrors of knowledge matched up with the young and untested boy. In this case older!Sam is more interesting than the older!Dean option, I think, because Sam learns a lot more about Dean over the course of years than Dean really learns about Sam -- even if there are complexities that get unveiled, Dean knows Sam. Why I chose her as a Scorpio Rising:

Even though Wednesday sees the world through black and white, her strong moral values for right and wrong are defined by her Libra 11th house stellium that prioritizes objectivity, fairness & equity.

Even though Scorpio is an intense rising sign, and Wednesday is seemingly detached. She's actually quite an intense individual in the series when she protects her friends and her bond to her childhood scorpion in the past. You can also see her passionate determination to solve the mystery behind who the hyde and the hydes master are.

She just doesn't act on her emotions or overthink her feelings as I believe her cancer moon in the 8th house would conceal and hide her emotional nature as this house rules over what we conceal and keep secret as well as our fears. So, she's presented as having an "empty" heart, which isn't true, but I will explain more about this when I debrief my thoughts on her potential moon placement.

Because Scorpio is associated with death & and the void, this rising sign lends a cold demeanor to her personality that appears monotonous, but she does show her sudden bursts in her temper. Wednesday's actions show she cares more than she lets on as she's always looking out for eugene.

Wednesday is not fully detached as she gets in her head a lot and is shown to care deeply about Enid and crush on Tyler once she finds the courage to trust them enough. However, Wednesday is always polarized between who actually has her best interests in mind, and her perspective on the world remains suspicious and wounded. So she prefers loneliness and staying in the shadows to protect herself while also investigating those she deems as harmful to get an upper hand.

There is an obvious power dynamic present between herself and others that is common amongst scorpio risings. This power dynamic is people thinking that she's either better than everyone else or too odd to fit in, which is all just a misunderstanding. She has Pluto in the 1st House with this chart, and Pluto does show where we tend to be the black sheep and blamed yet at the same time are perceived as threats or having a hidden power others want to exploit or take. This fits with Wednesday's identity being heavily misunderstood by the school and Ms. Thornhill wants to use her as a sacrifice to resurrect Joseph Crackstone.

As a result of Wednesdays misunderstood intentions and intense personality, she ends up a bit ostracized at her school because she can't trust anyone. However, once she learns eugene and enid have her back, she stays very loyal to them. I believe all Scorpio risings just need to find their people in order to understand and show love to the world as it's often something they are left without.

Her appearance reflects that of a Scorpio rising in which she embraces the dark and macabre side of scorpio and their love for older clothing that reflects the past. Wednesday looks like a put-together ghoul, imo and seeing as how Scorpio rules over death, her appearance just fits that. I also see her smudged eyeliner and bangs, a fitting Scorpio look as many with this rising sign prefer bangs to conceal their forehead and add a layer of mystery.

Her Libra Stellium in the 11th House:

Main focus on Detachment, Selfishness, Objectiveness, Vengeance, Injustice is present in Wednesday's values. She has absolutely no desire for money, fame, status, or anything that would benefit her. Instead, her sole focus Is justice for others, specifically those who are innocently killed by the hyde.

Wednesday has her Sun, Venus & Mars in the 11th house which contributes not only to her life theme of bringing justice to a community and group of people, but also her motivation in life to fight for justice seen with her Sun - Mars conjunction.

This is the hero aspect to me, and Wednesday very well is the community's hero. I think it's important to note how she is written.off as self-absorbed and narcissistic by Xavier during their conflict. People assume Wednesday only thinks about herself, and for a period in time, SHE WAS only thinking about herself and her plan to capture the killer.

Wednesday's disregard and inability to see value in emotions reflects her Sun - Venus conjunction in the 11th house because while it's in Libra, this aspect is solely focused on prioritizing her values and ego. In the 11th house, this can translate to actually disregarding her personal feelings and only seeing importance in community and social matters, especially in Libra.

This is an objective sign that works with fairness meaning she can be very vindictive with no remorse because that is what's morally right in her opinion even if she takes it too far like we saw with Tyler trapped in the chair. 11th house & Aquarian people underdeveloped are known to take things too far just because they are so goal oriented that they tend to disregard the personal feelings of others as it's seen as a barrier to progression. I think this explains why she's only focused on her investigation and views her feelings as weak. Because her feelings could also be a part of her fears, which I will explain next.

Her Cancer Moon in the 8th House

Moon in Cancer was unexpected for many, but it makes a lot of sense the more I thought about it. The moon rules over intuition and subconscious, which is domicile in Cancer, meaning her intuition comes naturally to her. Even without visions, she had strong intuition, being naturally aware and suspicious of those around her. She wasn't your typical friendly cancer moon, but then again, her family isn't typical, so we have to focus on the signs qualities more so than stereotypes when analyzing her chart.

Wednesday was very reserved and internalized her feelings without realizing it. This is very cancerian behavior as they prefer to stay in their comfort zone, which in this case is by herself surrounded by darkness and gore, which her family and specifically her mother fostered.

Another point to acknowledge is how Wednesday has quite a supportive family. They got her out of boatloads of trouble and were there for her more than most other families. In fact, they were quite a clingy family that was close-knit and coddled Wednesday, to which she revolted against.

Considering the Moon rules over our behavior, what's genetically passed down through our mother & our maternal figure, we can see Wednesday is a lot like her mom as the moons' qualities are amplified in Cancer. Wednesday has her psychic visions passed down by Goody & Morticia.

The moon also shows our mom and the 8th house rules over what will withstand throughout time, the legends of individuals, and what will reoccur through generations in our bloodline. I believe this shows clearly with Wednesday's mom Morticia Addams' famous legacy at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday is set to repeat the same history as Goody and kill Joseph Crackstone as well as making a name for herself at Nevermore Academy like Morticia that will withstand time.

Moving onto Wednesday's emotional nature, for a water sign and house moon, you may expect an overly emotional individual, but it can actually create the opposite effect. A lot of the time, those that are water dominant have a clear control over how to express and use their emotions.

This means they can often end up expressing themselves as cold or detached as they don't lose control over their emotions easily. Instead, they control their emotions based on what they can use it for to benefit themselves and others. It's usually those that lack water in their chart that are overly emotional as a fun fact. In Wednesday's case, being both water & air dominant, there's a clear conflict between prioritizing her head or heart.

However, Wednesday chooses to guard her heart as this serves her the best and instead uses her high intelligence to manipulate others for answers. The 8th house rules over our fears and what we keep secret. The moon in Cancer here means she honestly did not want anyone at Nevermore knowing about her family, Wednesday is seen trying to remove her reputation from her mom and hide her family identity.

Another big fear of Wednesdays was trusting others. She had been so used to being stabbed in the back and people hurting her loved ones that it wasn't death that scared her. She actually loved gore. It was instead love and intimacy that she was afraid of expressing and experiencing. As the 8th house deals with deep, intimate bonds, Wednesday feared deep emotional connections throughout the series and purposely put others at a distance and self-sabotaged connections. Wednesday's fear of trust ultimately almoat put her in the grave, but she learmed a big lesson through enid, xavier & eugene on how to truly bond and trust their loyalty.

I'd say Enid helped her the most in this area as her polar opposite because Enid was the light Wednesday needed to nurture her hidden feelings that were comfiest, staying in the dark and alone. Enid brought Wednesday out of hiding and shined light by embracing it. This dynamic definitely resulted in some conflict between the two but ultimately an irreplaceable bond as Enid sought to help Wednesday understand her own emotional needs and to be able to recognize and percieve others intentions which is what cancer moons in any water house are the best at when they've matured.

This placement also indicates massive family secrets and could point towards Gomez Addams' false murder accusations and her mom instead thinking she murdered Garrett Gates when really he was poisoned.

Scorpio Mercury in the 12th House:

Her blunt and sharp edge, she is known for her intelligence and quick wit plus dark humor. She's more focused on strategy, vengeance, and solving challenges that come her way, not chatting up people. Scorpio does rule death, and I hate to say it, but most Scorpio Mercury natives tend to have a dead expression almost? They just sound very sarcastic 24/7 and sometimes monotonous unknowingly as this sign rules over paradoxes.

So naturally, they communicate in a paradoxical way that can be confusing despite their sharp straightforwardness due to mars traditional rulership. Wednesday's trademark humor is definitely seen here, as well as her perception that everyone has secrets, even those we don't suspect. She receives knowledge from higher realms and isolated or foreign places she touches, which can be attributed to the 12th House.

She often finds out secrets by chance, and her goal is to investigate. Wednesday is so secretive I think her Mercury placement here makes perfect sense, especially because she's always overthinking because of her second-guessing which is common for Scorpios as they struggle with knowing who to trust with their information just like how she struggled to trust tyler and xavier.

I'd also say that because this house rules over hidden enemies and Mercury & Jupiter is placed here, we can see how her neighborhood crush and someone who's highly educated and has authority would be her hidden enemy.

Jupiter in Scorpio 12th House:

This shows an abundance of spiritual knowledge & protection from the higher realm being Goody Addams. Jupiter is also very karmic and can show where you have the most success or fortune in which would be spiritual matters, foreign places & anything having to do with magic.

It's actually the best placement she could have for Nevermore as it literally points towards success over hidden enemies. As well as expansion towards what is invisible without a physical body. This means her dreams and visions as well as others' emotions she'd have a level of influence over. This is why Wednesday is seen as such a threat to Bianca imo.

Saturn in Leo 22° 9th House:

I mean, the 22nd degree is known as the kill or be killed degree, but also the fall from grace and rise back up degree. It's also in Leo the shining star in the 9th house that rules over religious and higher educational institutions, which Nevermore would fit into as a school full of magical people learning advanced topics for their powers.

Saturn is about delays, limitations, completing past life lessons, and discipline. Nevermore showed Wednesday that she may actually have gotten herself into some trouble and overestimated herself. Saturn here presents the lesson of Wednesday expressing her heart and this being delayed. Her lesson was to learn how to trust, which almost killed her because she trusted Tyler first. But then someone with leo qualities would be more fit to actually show Wednesday loyalty and love.

I'd say Wednesday's biggest setback was her disregard for her own and others' feelings, but this changed at Nevermore. Another interesting pattern with Saturn here can show where we build ourselves up and keep respect. Wednesday saved Nevermore, so obviously, she was highly respected but also went through many obstacles at her institution with her authority figure the principle Larissa Weems.

Although Larissa wanted the best for Wednesday, she viewed Larissa as a setback and someone who got in her way. Wednesday also struggles with authority figures as a common theme because she values her independence, which can show up as a common 9th house saturn theme and the battle against those who teach you life lessons. To say the least, Wednesday would struggle to listen to others' ideas, beliefs & morals until she matured because she just views hers as better and others as too restrictive and boring. Rules are not for Wednesday lol

Saturn also opposites Neptune in the 3rd House, which means there's a theme of common knowledge being hidden from the authorities and a lot of secret messages made to deceive the school and principle. The neighborhood conflict between Jericho and Nevermore can be seen here because Jericho holds more mystery and secrets than they let on in the neighborhood history, literally being a lie as they praise Joseph Crackstone.

On the other hand, Nevermore feels trapped by Jericho and unfairly treated. Saturn being a cold planet means Nevermore feels isolated from their neighborhood Jericho that is put on a literal pedestal built off of lies.

North Node in Pisces 4th house

Wednesday's life path is to create familial bonds and become closer to her family. This also has to do with searching family history and speaking to ancestors through her psychic abilities. Because her NN is in Pisces in the 4th House, this means she's supposed to nurture and grow her psychic abilities as the 4th House is how we foster and nurture while Pisces theme are unconscious psychic sense and higher emotional comprehension. The 4th House is the root of our being.

Therefore, it is in Wednesday to master her psychic abilities and further develop her emotional understanding. However, she has a hard time understanding herself. She's simply more comfortable with her SN in the 10th house Virgo, where she has an intelligent reputation and work from evidence and facts. She prefers to solve problems rather than work on emotional comprehension.

Pisces 4th House & Houseruler in 3rd (Neptune):

I can see this with Wednesday's struggle to emotionally understand or become attached to others. She may have often felt manipulated by her own family and dissociated a lot at home. The 4th House is our upbringing and emotional roots, how our emotions were nurtured. I can definitely see how Pisces here would make her feel insecure by her family but also protective over them as they're her greatest power and healers.

But at the same time, she felt like living in their shadow with past wounds that were brought up later by her father's accused murder. A theme seen from the I.C. ruler in the 3rd House where dirty rumors about her family were spread to the entire neighborhood.

Jack - Astrological Birth Chart

This post is special and a little different from the posts for Alex and Nigel. I posit that Jack is a new, different person, born out of the events on the night that Nigel died--born out of Nigel's death itself. For Nigel and Alex, I chose their sun sign based on what I felt fit their personalities best, meaning Nigel was born in late February as a Pisces and Alex was born in early April as an Aries. For the rest of their placements, I simply chose signs that COULD exist (Venus and Mercury have to be close to the Sun sign, for instance), but I didn't bother with trying to get an actual birthdate chart. In other words: purely a vibes-based approach.

In this case, I decided to use a very specific day for Jack's birth. We know from the movie that Alex was invited to Nigel's house to attend the death of the Colbies on a Wednesday night at 8 pm. The seasons of the movie are wintery without being date specific. It's never the holidays which kind of rules out December entirely. Technically the snowy weather might be likely to put the final events in January or February, BUT the end of the movie imposes a specific time frame. Alex is leaving the school for good in summer (the trees are not at all autumnal, nor would autumn make sense for his departure). My guess would be late summer, like August. We know that it is 9 months later because the movie tells us so. 9 months before August is November. I felt very strongly that Jack would be a Scorpio. It is likely that he was "born" in the early hours of a Thursday, since Nigel would have had to go through the process of disposing of his parent's bodies which would have taken quite some time.

When I put all this info together to find a likely date for Jack to be "born", I looked at the Thursdays in November. And then I realized that the day the movie was released - November 9, 2006 - was in fact a Thursday. I felt it was too good an opportunity to pass up. So, I pulled up the astrological chart for that day, with a birth time of 3 am. What you see below are those exact placements. This movie (and Jack by extension) has a SHITLOAD of Scorpio energy, and isn't that really quite fitting? How could I resist.

Lansing — Democratic lawmakers are condemning a social media post from Republican state Rep. Josh Schriver of Oxford that promoted "the great replacement" theory, a racist ideological belief that there's a coordinated global effort to diminish the influence of White people.

On Tuesday, Schriver shared a post of a graphic that depicted black figurines covering most of a map of the world, with white figures occupying smaller sections of Australia, Canada, northern Europe and the northern United States. The bottom of the graphic read "The great replacement!"

The graphic, initially posted by right-wing pundit Jack Posobiec, was reposted by Schriver with an emoji of a chart showing a downward trend on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

In a statement Wednesday to The Detroit News, Schriver said he loved "all of God's offspring" and believed "everyone's immense value is rooted in the price Christ paid on the Cross when he died for our sins.

"I'm opposed to racists, race baiters, and victim politics," Schriver said in the statement. "What I find strange is the agenda to demoralize and reduce the white portion of our population. That's not inclusive and Christ is inclusive! I'm glad Tucker Carlson and Jack Posobiec are sharing links so I can continue my research on these issues."

The "great replacement" conspiracy theory asserts there is a coordinated effort to dilute the influence of White people through immigration and through low birth rates among White individuals, according to the Anti-Defamation League. The theory has been linked to anti-Semitism, with some versions alleging it is Jews coordinating the so-called replacement.

The shooter in a 2022 Buffalo, New York supermarket shooting that killed 10, most of whom were Black, raised the theory in a manifesto as a motive for the killings, the Associated Press reported. The killer in the 2018 Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburg blamed Jews for bringing non-white immigrants to the U.S.; a 2019 Poway, California synagogue shooter claimed Jews were responsible for the killing of White Europeans; and a shooter who killed 23 people at an El Paso Walmart in 2019 talked about a "Hispanic invasion" in his manifesto, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

At least a half-dozen Republican U.S. Senate candidates promoted the "great replacement" conspiracy theory in the 2022 elections, the AP reported.

House Speaker Joe Tate, a Detroit Democrat and Michigan's first Black speaker, said Schriver's "blatantly racist social media post" and later statement on the issue do not align with the chamber's values and are "deeply and personally" offensive.

Schriver's insistence that the issue was worthy of consideration "puts his ignorance on full display," Tate said in a statement, but is not an excuse for "proliferating obvious hate."

“Perhaps most disturbing is that his post uplifts a dangerous and tortured narrative that fosters violence and instability," Tate said. "His callous and reckless act is not within the spirit of what Michigan is, and it contributes to a hostile environment."

Rep. Jason Hoskins, a Black Democratic lawmaker from Southfield, also criticized the post Wednesday night.

"Michigan House Republican celebrates Black History Month by promoting racist and dangerous conspiracies that there are too many people of color," Hoskins wrote on X.

House Republican Leader Matt Hall, R-Richland Township, did not respond to a request Wednesday night for comment about Schriver's post.

Rep. Kelly Breen, D-Novi, condemned the post as "blatantly racist" and "dangerous rhetoric" that has no place in society or in the state Legislature.

"It saddens & infuriates me that a colleague shared this," Breen wrote on X. "For someone who claims to love God - Rep. Schriver is blind to the fact this would make Him weep."

Elected in 2022, Schriver represents the 66th District in the Michigan House of Representatives, which includes Addison, Brandon, Oxford townships and most of Oakland Township in Oakland County and Bruce and Washington townships in Macomb County. The Warren native is a graduate of De La Salle Collegiate High School.

Schriver serves on the House Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation Committee.

Condemnation of Schriver's post extended beyond Michigan political circles.

The Northern Guard Supporters, a fan group supporting the Detroit City Football Club, also condemned the post and said the first term lawmaker was not welcome among the fan group. Schriver's wife plays for the Detroit City Football Club women's team, which plays in the Premier Arena Soccer League.

Nick Finn, who helps run communications for the group, said fans "won't tolerate that in our stands." On X, Northern Guard Supporters noted that the league included "players from all ethnic backgrounds in a high minority population city."

"It’s very upsetting to see something like that, one, from any representative in Michigan, let alone one directly connected to a member our team,” Finn told The News on Wednesday.

WIP Wednesday

I didn't originally plan to post anything for WIP Wednesday but then the Critics Choice outfit happened, and I just wanted to post something just so I could include a pic of this perfect look 🥹

Ch. 9 of Safest with You, i.e. The Wham Bam, is nearly done; as in, I'm on my 400th full edit and I'll probably never be 100% satisfied so why don't we just say we'll post it by the end of the week?

And because there is only so much smut editing you can do, I had to take occasional breaks and start writing Ch. 10 "The Afterglow" ☺️ Here's a wee snippet; Din (see above pic, minus sling) goes to brunch:

Getting permission from a waiter to pull over a chair, Din folds his large frame into his seat next to you and says, nervously, “Hi.  I’m Din.”

“Oh, we know,” cackles Rory, and you cover your face, you’re laughing so hard.

After you make the introductions, Din politely shakes everyone’s hands while your friends all smirk knowingly at him.  They’re such freaking menaces.  Din breaks the ice, “So you guys want my place and time of birth to do my star chart?”  This gets a good laugh, and when that dies down, Bea looks Din dead in the eye, “Yeah, we do.”

Din roars with laughter, “Might as well, I have a feeling there aren't going to be any secrets between me and you ladies.”

Also, in the Modern AU Pero Tovar WIP I’m not supposed to be working on, what if I gave him a bike? 🏍️🤷🏻‍♀️

Happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! ✨️ - Are the stars of any importance in your world? Do they even exist?

Happy WBW! Thank you for the ask! I’m going to answer this one for both of my WIPs because I think I have interesting things to say about both :)

The stars are kind of omnipresent in the Seven Stations. They’re space stations floating in the void. Every window looks out on the stars, and that’s all anyone’s ever seen out the window. They’re incredibly used to them.

They’re also used symbolically as a symbol of punishment and purgatory in the religion of the Fifth Station. They believe that the stations were cast into the void as punishment for humanity’s actions, so they use the stars as a symbol of that punishment.

Stars are also important in the Pirates’ Roost, not only because they’re used to navigate ships. The siren religion holds the stars as the protectors of the future and they are considered sacred. Every siren child learns the constellations, and anyone training to be a diviner knows the place of every star (to the point where Malcolm can just draw star charts from memory). Stargazing is a worshipful ritual akin to prayer and is very emotional and important. Each siren also has a guardian constellation that watches over them from birth, assigned by a diviner, and some events, such as marriages, also have guardian constellations. Some pirates have taken to creating their own ideas of guardian constellations with little respect for the siren beliefs, which most sirens find highly offensive.

The energies of the New Moon are still very active. Today gives plenty of opportunity for new and exciting things to show up in your life. There’s plenty of time left for manifesting your desires.
