Meet Ben and Jenna. Here's a too-cute photo of their engagement. Ben and Jenna have been through our #WeddingBootCamp, a fun seven-week “boot camp” for Jewish couples en route to marriage who might know their flower arrangement down to the very last bud, but have no idea which Ketubah (Jewish wedding contract) is right for them. 

We asked them how and where they met, and what their biggest discovery at #WeddingBootCamp was.

Ben and Jenna: We met in high school in Minnesota! Despite knowing one another since middle school, we became close friends our senior year of high school through study sessions for a physics class. We remained in touch all throughout college, and started dating three years ago when Jenna moved out to the East coast for graduate school.

92Y: What was your takeaway moment from #WeddingBootCamp?

Ben and Jenna: Our take away moment from #WeddingBootcamp came during our discussion around incorporating chesed and tzedakah into the wedding ceremony.  It has inspired us to be creative about integrating loving-kindness and charity into our wedding weekend.
