What type of books are you interested in?

Manly I read non-fiction, biographies and such. I don't really feel like I get something from reading Romance - often many of them are the same.

Lunlun´s autumn study challenge

What does autumn mean for you?

Darkness, death, cold and pain.

There is less daylight when autumn comes around, the weather gets colder and everything that is green and alive dies. Pain manly because my chronic pain gets worse when it's cold 🥶.

However in later years, after really warm summers, I can enjoy the weathershift for about a month

The weather is suddenly dark and stormy (second pic) ☔ My body does NOT do well with these sudden shifts! Yesterday, it was over 80°F (26.7°C). Currently, it's 62°F (16.7°C) and falling quickly. By Friday, it's supposed to be snowing and only 49°F (9.4°C). . My body usually reacts to these dramatic shifts with widespread pain, and it's definitely doing so right now! My joints are all killing me (every single one of them). . To hopefully counteract some of it, I'm using all the tricks I have! ▪ I used my wintergreen roller on my neck, shoulders, and TMJ (jaw joint) ▪ I put Deep Blue (the rub) on my knees, hips, low back, elbows, and hands ▪ Lemon, eucalyptus, and wild orange are all in the diffuser to help with my mood and ability to breathe ▪ 1/2 of a Tramadol - there is no shame in knowing you need pharmaceuticals to live. If you're trying tovlive "more naturally" do not let yourself feel guilty for using whatever you need to use! ▪ Zofran because Tramadol makes me nauseous so I can't take it without the anti-nausea medication... Which is great 😌 But at least they take a serious edge off the pain! . What is your go-to for weather related pain?
