#songwritersaturday I won’t lie. I feel music in my heart so much that no matter what I’m going through or how I am feeling before I get into singing, the music recharges me and my “Heartbeat” is simply energized. Felt good singing my song “Heartbeat” last night with the JNote Band at Silvana Harlem. Now I also won’t lie that singing takes so much out of you being that your body is your musical instrument if you are a vocalist. Exhaustion until the next hit but worth every second of it. Not only do I love the fact the my boy William came out to my gig with his loving heart and video camera, and recorded the entirety of the performance which featured mostly original music like this song “Love No Limit,” without me even asking for his help at that, and then today sends me a shitload of professionally edited videos he captured; I love the fact that I had lost the shoes that I was wearing that night, been looking for them ever since and ironically found them today, two weeks later.
