Earth 3 - Lion
Young Justice (2010 - *) Series Continuity – Timeline: Between Season 1 & 2
Earth 3.
Crime Syndicate sent their new team of enforcers, the Team Titans, to deal with a trouble maker called “The Lion.” Their investigation lead them to a warehouse in Metropolis. Ultra Girl scanned the area and only found one man tinkering inside. Inertia went to sent in to scout for traps. He disappeared. Ultra Girl tried to break down the walls, but they were somehow reinforced and nearly broke her own hand. Talon tried to flush out the enemy with a gas weapon. No reaction. Scarab tried to compromise the structural integrity of the building with sonic attacks. The man inside seemed to notice, but went back to work. Finally, Magog outright shouted and challenged the Lion to a fight. At that, the entire warehouse turned green for a second and there was a massive explosion. When the dust cleared, all that was left was Magog. Metropolis was reduced to a crater. Ultra Girl was poisoned, burned and what was left fell kilometers away.
Earth 1.
A random warehouse in the middle of Metropolis manifests a green door that would logically go nowhere.
Rumors of a master mind criminal called The Lion shows up in Earth 1.
Lionel Luthor finds William Magnus ad recruits him for a project. The Metal Men.
By the time YJ reaches the end of Outsiders the duo has a team and has made
the first batch of Metal Men.
The Hero Team (Magnus Metal Men)
Gold – Iron – Lead – Tin – Platinum – Mercury – Copper
Lionel’s secret lab has made more given his research into Magnus technique.
The Hit Squad (Lionel’s Death Metal Men)
Plutonium – Uranium – Thorium – Radium – Strontium
The Heroes for Hire (Military Contract)
Cobalt – Nickel – Bismuth – Antimony
The Back Ups (In case of emergency)
Zirconium – Lithium – Aluminum – Silicon – Magnesium – Osmium – Zinc – Gallium – Silver – Iridium – Barium – Calcium – Sodium
What does the Lion want? A weapon against the Crime Syndicate. Once he perfects this technology, he’s going back.

72 - sorry for late blog, i am playing d3, the most mid diablo game
Stream
I did it. I did not think it to be a possibility, but I slayed TWO bosses in Death, Masochist, Eternity, Master, getfixedboi mode. And it was all thanks to the Wand of Sparking. For some odd reason, in my game, the Wand of Sparking has been heavily buffed into a hardmode weapon. It does 60-70 damage and will do more when I level up more. Which brings me to the next point. I brought back using the leveled mod. The reason I brought it back was because I found another excellent mod called assorted compatibilities that adds a compatibility between the level mod and Thorium. I really like this since it is reminiscent of the old days that I played tmodloader with the old leveled mod having a separate mod for compatibility with Thorium. I will say that this level mod is FAR more unbalanced though because I do not believe there is a cap on what level you can make your character. It can be configured, but I don't really feeeeel like it.
Getting to the actual bosses I defeated, first came the Eye of Cthulu. Unsurprisingly, the difficulty with this boss came in the end of the fight. For those unaware, with the Masochist mode on, Eye of Cthulu becomes a boss that inflicts a DOT debuff on the character, and its spawns apply the debuff too. However, the Fargo mod goes further by editing the AI of bosses, and the Eye of Cthulu is affected in numerous ways. One new way that I experienced today was when it deflected attacks when transitioning to charging while spawning smaller eyes. Another new thing was that did this multiple times. But the difficult part still laid within the ending (that had not really changed much from my experience), where the eye becomes unruly in its movement. It moves super fast at low health while spawning demon scythes that explode into more demon scythes outward. Obviously, the difficulty becomes trying to hit the Eye of Cthulu. On my first real attempt, I had difficulty since I tried to persist with solely the Wand of Sparking. I succeeded when I switched to using my Calamity mod homing sword during that phase. The leveled mod MAY have been a bit too strong due to me not realizing that leveling now did a full heal on the player even during boss fights. That clutched me to victory.
The other boss I defeated was from Calamity. As an analogous boss to the Brain of Cthulu, the Calamity mod adds a boss called the Hive Mind to the Corruption biome. I defeated this boss off the cuff since it followed me when I was exploring the surface and tried to teleport away from it. It was also a supreme source of experience for the level mod since, in phase two, it constantly gave me experience for simply damaging it. The craziest part of that fight however was phase three when it started spawning Corruption mobs. ANY Corruption mob. Including itself. The fight against 1 Hive Mind quickly became 4. After defeating the first, I decided it was too much of a damage sink and just succumbed to the Hive Minds.
Lastly, today's stream did not pan out the way I had hoped. For some reason, there was a succinct lack of death in the stream. I really thought that I would die a high amount, so I implemented a punishment wheel to the stream. Sadly, I did not spin it too many times. I put on there "Safe," "Pasta," and "Uzumaki," meaning no punishment, watch a scary video, and read from Junji Ito's Uzumaki respectively. I did not even get through Chapter 1 of Uzumaki. Also, I only watched one scary video.

https://deadlystream.com/files/file/99-modified-influence-system/
gives influence opportunities different weights. normally each one gives 8 points, but now they'll reward small (2 points), regular (6 points), or high (12 points). game isn't balanced for this, so it might become impossible to turn certain companions into jedi
i have it installed because i LOVE weighted approval point systems and i’m willing to take the risk bc the only companion i absolutely care about turning into a jedi is atton, who i’m pretty sure i have down pat

self promo time it is MY mod and it is VERY canon compliant
covers textures 4-5, can be combined with the HD reskin above for maximum effect
also up on deadlystream and nexusmods if you find yourself wanting to leave a comment about how perfect and faithful it is to his character bc clearly the option that artfully rips his shirt draws an additional, visual parallel between himself and darth “sleeps-with-vibroblades” sion which ultimately deepens kotor 2′s rich storyline--
arrenkae’s reskins | P_AttnH1.tga
https://arrenkae.tumblr.com/post/137520491505/yoooo-guys-im-going-to-share-some-stuff-heres

atton (veryveryveryslightlydarker): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4r9dmlm9klvlame/AAARZkvrImX9U0vHHJbYBvuAa?dl=0
covers textures 1-3, and has a subtler ds transition than vanilla bc his skin doesn’t go as grey

https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1330-kotor-1-texture-to-kotor-2-game-bridge/

Radioactive Gems Master Post
As requested by anon.
The Radioactive Series is an offshoot of the regular Land of the Lustrous canon, in which there exists another island in the vast sea of Earth (as I couldn’t imagine there only being one island?). Unfortunately this island contains the fallout of humans’ nuclear technology that was set off when the Earth was hit. Kind of like the Fukushima Disaster when there was a tsunami in Japan, although the details of what the nuclear site was (weapons, plants, etc) and how it was set off is unknown. However, the radiation and fallout of the island has life, with the focus being the Gems that came of it.
Resident Gems (from oldest to youngest) currently on the island:
Trinitite (the eldest. Forgetful and constantly anxious/worried) Chernobylite (second eldest. is prone to overheating and can become dangerous) Pitchblende (eccentric archaeologist/scientist) Curite (self proclaimed leader) Ianthinite (records keeper who’s often forgotten) Green Diamond (the Diamond of the group and has an ego because of it) Verrite (nervous medic) Blue Topaz (the one with the balls to stand up to Green Dia) Cygnusite (???) Astrocyanite (astronomer and currently weakest Gem) Ekanite (sh*t disturber) Vicanite (youngest sh*t disturber)
History
The beginning history is blurry at best as the oldest one (Trinitite) has impurities that cause their memory to falter greatly. The second oldest (Chernobylite) was too dangerous to even be in the same room as and was in isolation for centuries in an unstable mess before finally cooling down.
From what can be gathered however,
Mother found the Gems (Trinitite and Chernobylite) and created a residence for them out of the ruined structures that exist on the island. Only Trinitite was kept in there as Chernobylite was too dangerous at the time. Mother teaches Trinitite speech and discovers that Trinitite is radioactive.
Monazite emerges. Sky Guardians have appeared but only in passing. Mother begins teaching the Gems more than speech.
Thorianite emerges. Sky Guardians have appeared to become more aggressive at this point. Mother protects the Gems from them.
Pitchblende emerges, quickly befriending Thorianite as the two display more playfulness and curiosity than previous Gems. Mother begins teaching chemistry.
Sky Guardians are attacking the island. Most of the Gems are capable of taking up arms and attempt to assist Mother in fending them off. Thorianite and Pitchblende have started digging up artifacts which Mother mentions that it belonged to the creatures that used to reside on the land.
Curite and Autunite emerge. Mother sees how fragile Autunite is and attempts to develop better weapons to protect them.
During down times, Mother tells the Gems what jobs they could pick up to help each other and figure things out. She emphasizes helping.
Ianthinite emerges. Another fragile Gem. Chernobylite is finally cooled down enough to be safe around others.
Green Diamond emerges. Mother comments that they are made up of the hardest material and that Green will be able to protect the others.
Monazite is abducted. Partially due to Green Diamond’s negligence.
Mother doesn’t wake up and the Gems are left to figure things out on their own suddenly. There is chaos and panic in attempts to wake her up but all attempts up to the present for them have failed and Mother continues to rest in silence in a kneeling position in her room. Curite takes up the lead and begins to give orders to stop the chaos.
Verrite emerges. The Gems are left to teach Verrite how to speak and other things.
Thorianite and Pitchblende are able to focus heavily into science and history, theories begin developing on how things work. Texts are found.
Autunite becomes greatly upset over Mother and towards others, mainly for not being able to do anything. Their consequent impulsivity leads to them being shattered and abducted. Verrite becomes engrossed in protecting other Gems from shattering.
Thorianite’s focuses lean towards the Sky Guardians now while Pitchblende continues to figure out the creatures of the past. Thorianite theorizes that the Sky Guardians may have something to do with the ancient creatures. They figure out how their weapons work and design their own weapons for the Gems using similar methods. Thorianite recalls Mother saying the Sky Guardians are lost souls.
Blue Topaz emerges. The second hardest Gem who is able to place the egotistical Green Diamond down.
Thorianite decides that speaking with the Sky Guardians to figure out what they want and why they’re attacking might have better results than constantly attacking.
Thorianite is abducted.
Cygnusite emerges. The Gems have a hard time keeping track of them.
Astrocyanite emerges. Shows a fascination with the sky, especially the nighttime. Others fear that Astro will become the next Thorianite and be abducted, but Astro’s interest is mainly in the science of the universe. Along with Pitchblende, they develop a telescope prototype that eventually improves over time with each new design.
Ekanite emerges. Quickly learns speech but otherwise proves hard to control.
Vicanite emerges. Is the youngest currently and has currently mastered speech. Curite is trying to find them a job and get them learning other things but Vicanite may be more difficult than Ekanite as the two bicker.
The history might change if other Gems are added (and could be added) it’s a rough estimate.
The Land
The island that the Gems live on is more star or sun shaped, with the Eastern side being where the Gems reside. The Eastern half of the island is mainly desert and harsher terrain with rugged mountains trailing from the west, while the Western half has high sharper mountains around the coast that protect it from the harsh weather so that it can prosper a little more. Most of the Gems are too dangerous to venture into the Western half as they’ve realized that they damage organic life more than it already is if they get too close or touch it. Only Blue Topaz and Green Diamond are capable of spending limited amount of time there without causing damage, and usually only venture there to gather resources not available in the desert or dry beds. Not much of it is explored or known in detail because of this, but it is known that the Valley is overgrown with plant life and some smaller creatures.
The Eastern half is well known surface wise, and ruined structures from humans can be seen emerging from the ground. Although their original purposes are unknown to the Gems, they refer to several structures by name such as the Residence (three square boxed buildings arranged in a U shape that the Gems live in), the Towers (large cylindrical structures with high vantage points that tend to gather the rainwater at the bottom), the Heavens Observatory (a building close to Residence that contains Astrocyanite’s work with the storage housing in the bottom levels where Ianthinite can be found), along with other structures and landmarks.
The weather can become extreme, and rainy weather is considered dangerous to the Gems as it is mainly acid rain. High winds can severely impact work so are scheduled as off days. Although the summers can become severely warm and bright, the only one to have ill effect to this is Chernobylite who has to maintain a cooler temperature. Winters are strange as it is also an extreme with temperatures dropping very low and winds continuing to be high, but the radiation kept up in the Residence is able to keep it from otherwise freezing over inside. Curite has tried on many occasions to have work continue during these months but has been unsuccessful. Only Chernobylite is able to stay up as their molten core keeps them warm and gives off light.
The radiation from the island and extreme weathers are often too dangerous for Sky Guardians (Lunarians) which is why they appear less frequently. This has also allowed the Radioactive Gems to focus on advancement.
Clothing and Technology
Unlike the canon Gems, these Gems only have one outfit style. They don’t have shoes or gloves or any accessories except in their hair generally. The outfit is made of (beige) hemp cloth and is rather thick. The outfits are closed by crossing them over the chest and tying it on the right side. This is all due to the Gems not having a fashion centred Gem like Red Beryl so opt for simplicity.
The Radioactive Gems are a bit more advanced in technology than the canon Gems, as their science is. Their physics and chemistry are probably the most advanced. This is seen in their weaponry, with momentum and far range weapons are used like bow and arrows. They have discovered fire and are in the beginning stages of electricity. This is mainly due to artifacts that Pitchblende has discovered and pieced together.
Unlike the canon Gems, their biological knowledge is lacking mainly due to not being able to go near it. They are unaware that they contain microorganisms. They are partially aware of a life and death cycle, but biological functions such as eating is foreign to them.
They are currently attempting to decode the ancient creatures’ texts and why the symbols vary so much, and eventually learning to know what it means in hopes of answers to the meaning of their existence and where they came from.
Inspiration/Lore/Extra
While canon focuses on Buddhism beliefs, the Radioactive Gems will have more of Christian beliefs.
This all started because everyone was choosing Torbernite as the “dangerous radioactive” Gem when there are many more.
Most of the Gems contain uranium and/or thorium. Green Diamond, Blue Topaz, and Monazite are the three Gems that wouldn’t be radioactive elsewhere and contain no radiation in their purest form, but have been irradiated either due to exposure or impurities. Trinitite is technically the non mineral one, as it is glass. Chernobylite is the one based on speculation and is based on the Elephant’s Foot in the Chernobyl plant.
In the Mer AU, the Radioactive Gems are deep sea merfolk instead.
These Gems are much fewer in numbers than canon ones.

Cloaks and Capes:
Cloak of Fashionable Defense (50g):
“This hooded Cloak made of silk and metal fibers can change to whatever color you want it to be, and can harden to deflect most blades, arrows, and even bullets.”
Cloak of Mirrors (50g):
“This shimmering, semi-translucent cloak almost looks like it can reflect whatever is around it. The wearer gains resistance to magical effects on their person, and their perception is heightened.”
Cloak of the Thief (25g):
“This cloak is rather small, and a shade of dark brown. When the wearer wills it, the cloak will envelop the wearer in a shroud of invisibility for five minutes, or until cancelled.”
Cape of the Gargoyle (25g):
“This simple grey cloak appears unassuming. Three times per day, the wearer may assume a form like that of a gargoyle. The wearer becomes completely still, has the endurance of stone, and otherwise seems like a statue. Optional variants include other stone objects.”
Jewelry:
Amulet of Health (30g):
“This amulet is gold, with several rubies set into it. When worn, the wearer’s body becomes much hardier and more resilient. Wounds don’t bring you down as easily, and diseases are less effective. You essentially become the perfect picture of health!”
Ring of Farspeech (15g):
“These intricate loops carved of solid marble with an emerald inset will let the wearer send a brief message to anyone they know well on this plane of existence.”
Ring of Mage’s Armor (25g):
“This gold ring has amethysts set into it. When the wearer wills it, a shimmering barrier floats just an inch above their skin, temporarily providing resistance to magic during the duration.”
Bracelet of the Dancer (15g):
“This bracelet appears to be formed out of jingling, rainbow-colored beads on a thin loop of fabric. When the wearer wills it, their movement becomes smoother, more natural, and their reflexes become much faster.”
Ring of the Mute (15g):
“These rings are specially crafted for Void-users. While wearing this ring, the dark whispers shall become much more muted, allowing for greater mental focus.*”
Amulet of Spectral Warding (20g):
“This beautifully-crafted jade amulet gently deters restless spirits when worn. Great for haunted sojourns. Warning: Does not work on actively hostile spirits, or on particularly powerful ones. *Disclaimer: Void spells are significantly weaker while the ring is worn. Use Void responsibly.
Necklace of Mind Shielding (30g):
“This necklace is a metal chain, bearing a symbol of a shield on a medallion. While worn, this amulet helps protects your mind from being influenced by outside magical sources. Such effects include, but are not limited to: mind reading, emotional influencing/suggestion, mind control, and more!”
Armor and Apparel:
Spellbreaker Fullplate of Quel’Thalas(100g):
“This set of fullplate armor, designed specifically for an elite quel’dorei warrior, is amazingly protective against magic of all sorts. It resists attempts to transmute its material, mental attacks, evocation spells, necromantic effects, and so much more!”
Commander’s Fullplate (100g):
“This set of fullplate armor, designed for the charismatic in mind, is perfect for those who lead by example. It increases your strength and hardiness significantly while worn, it also shares this benefit with those around you who look to you for leadership! Amazing for the front-line leader, and any allies they may be fighting alongside.”
Survivalist’s Set (80g):
“Crafted out of ettin bone, kodo leather, and clefthoof fur, this enchanted suit of armor is everything the rugged survivalist needs to thrive anywhere from Tanaris to the Storm Peaks. Enchanted to have greater resistance to the elements, physical blows, and grant greater perception. This will keep your insides, inside, as well as protecting you from both blizzards and sandstorms.”
Gauntlets of Ogre’s Strength (25g):
“These heavy leather gauntlets with stone studded into them are ugly, but functional. The wearer’s unarmed attacks are stronger, and their attempts to push, pull, crush, throw, or lift something are stronger.”
Boots of the Marathoner (10g):
“These boots have stylized wings emblazoned on the sides of the heels. The wearer can sprint faster for longer periods of times, and recover their stamina faster.”
Belt of Knives (15g):
“This black sash has five scabbards for daggers. Once a dagger is put into a scabbard, it disappears until the wearer calls for it, for which it reappears in their hand. Each scabbard can ‘hold’ up to ten knives at a time.”
Cap of the Untraceable Scout (15g):
“This leather cap is simple, almost commoner-looking. The wearer leaves no tracks, and their steps are silent while wearing this cap.”
Shields:
Shield of Defensive Measures (25g):
“This adamantine kite shield is rather plain, except for its shininess. When held in one hand, this shield will automatically detect incoming blows and move to intercept them. This does not work for spells or magical effects.”
Shield of Dragon’s Breath (75g):
“This large shield has the visage of a terrifying dragon on the front of it. When the wielder wills it, and it has not done so recently, the dragon’s visage will come to life with a mighty roar and breathe fire in a thirty foot cone in front of it.”
Shield of Shrieking Horrors (25g):
“This metallic kite shield has a gaping skull’s maw etched into it. When the wielder wills it, and it has not done so recently, an ear splitting screech emits from the shield, bursting the eardrums and stunning most foes within fifteen feet of the wielder.”
One-Handed Weapons:
Thorium Warhammer of Hasteful Destruction (30g):
“This warhammer can be wielded in one hand, and it has blocky engravings in the head. When wielded, and it is willed, the wielder can strike three times in the space of time it normally takes to make one strike. Each of these strike does more destructive force than a normal swing does.”
Adamantine Dagger of the Hunter (30g):
“This dagger looks as if the blade was forged out of a reflective, obsidian-like metal. When it comes into contact with blood, the wielder can see where the source of that blood is at that moment by gazing into the blade’s surface. Excellent for tracking.”
Mithril Rapier of the Elegant Flame (50g):
“This elegant mithril rapier has incendiary designs etched into the hilt. When the wielder wills it, the blade grows red hot, melting flesh as well as piercing it.”
Shortsword of Flexible Hiding w/ Belt of Hiding (30g):
“This sturdy shortsword comes with a leather belt with a hidden loop around its entirety. Instead of a scabbard, the wielder can choose to activate the sword’s enchantment which lets it slide around the belt like a snake. Alternatively, in combat, the wielder can choose to activate this enchantment to hit over shields.”
Handaxe of Bleeding (15g):
“This handaxe is serrated, and looks almost malevolent. When the wielder hits someone with the handaxe’s head, the metal draws blood out of the target, making only a few strikes necessary before the target is bled dry.”
Throwing Knives of Seeking (1g each):
“These well-balanced throwing knives appear unnaturally keen and sharp. Before it is thrown, the wielder chooses a target. The knife will then correct it’s own course of flight as needed to hit that target.”
Two-Handed Weapons:
Thorium Warmaul of Crashing Thunder (50g):
“This hunk of shaped thorium on a steel handle has carvings of thunderclouds. When the wielder wills it and slams the head into the ground, a cascading wave of force rolls forth like a thunderclap. Enemies are rattled and pushed back. This ability cannot be used more than once every five minutes.”
Longsword of Reverberations (50g):
“This longsword appears unremarkable, until swung, and then it practically sings with hums of power. When it makes contact with an object, the wielder can choose, in that instant, to make the singing sword reverberate with sonic energy until the object it hits sunders like glass.”
Battleaxe of the Northern Tundras (50g):
“This two-sided axe is cold to the touch. When wielded, the wielder can choose for ice crystals to spread over the head of the axe, freezing the blood of whatever it hits.”
Ettin Cleaver (150g):
“Seven feet long and four feet wide, this thing was too massive and heavy to be called a sword. It was, indeed, a heap of raw, enchanted thorium. Normally weighing 400 lbs, it was enchanted to weigh a comparatively meager 80 lbs. When wielded, it drastically increases the wielder’s strength, their ability to sustain blows, and their speed. This is a berserker’s weapon, and it is the creator’s crowning achievement.”
Ranged Weapons and Ammo:
Starlight Longbow (50g):
“This ashen longbow strung with spider silk is suited for the ranger who seeks dangerous game. Whenever the bow is pulled back without an arrow, the bow’s magic creates an arrow of pure force to launch at an enemy. This arrow does not pierce; rather, it causes tremendous blunt force damage.”
Stalker’s Crossbow (50g):
“A simple-looking heavy crossbow, with a scope and an eye under crosshairs etched into the stock. While plain-looking, its enchantment is a boon to any hunter. When you look through the scope at a living thing, the thing’s ‘weak points’ (the spots you can shoot for instant or near-instant death) are seen as glowing to you. The longer you stare down the crossbow’s scope, the more accurate the next bolt you fire at that being will be.”*
Hand Crossbow of Poison (30g):
“This hand crossbow, fitted with a pistol grip, is made out of wood, and reinforced with Silithid chitin. When one command word is spoken, the crossbow’s primary enchantment activates, coating the loaded bolt with a deadly, fast-acting poison that causes great pain to the target. When another command word is spoken, and the crossbow’s secondary enchantment activates, instead coating the bolt with a numbing poison that drastically slows down the target’s locomotive skills, if not outright incapacitating them.”
Arrows/Bolts of Elemental Detonation (5g each):
“Each of these pieces of ammo, after being fired from their respective ranged weapon, will explode in an elemental outburst of your choosing: fire, acid, ice, lightning, or force. The burst is a ten-foot-wide radius around the first solid object it strikes.”
*Disclaimer: Does not work on undead.
Staves:
Staff of the Firelands (50g):
“This staff is not made out of wood. Rather, it is made out of molten rock and warm obsidian, yet it does not burn the wielder. Infused with reagents procured from the Firelands, a practiced caster can conjure fireballs and waves of pyroclastic power with it. Not to mention, any fire spells cast through this staff are empowered!”
Staff of the Abyssal Maw (50g):
“One half is covered in scales not unlike a great fish, with writhing tentacles at the tip. The other half is made purely of ice colder than sin, but the wearer remains unaffected. Infused with reagents procured from the Abyssal Maw, storms of sleet and whirlpools are a factor your foes will need to account for when you wield this staff.”
Staff of Deepholm (50g):
“This staff is a roughshod stick of stone, with various metals and precious gemstones sticking out of it at random angles. It’s heavier than buyer’s remorse, but for one of sufficient strength, this staff is second to none. While earth-styled spells are NOT empowered when wielding this staff, it is heavy and amplifies its kinetic output when swung at soemthing. A great gift for the monk in need of a new weapon!”
Staff of Skywall (50g):
“When holding this rod of white metal that’s lighter than air, you feel as if it’ll fly away with the wind if you don’t keep a tight hold on it. On the top of this staff is a sky-blue orb that constantly crackles with static electricity. With this staff, thunder storms and gale-force winds conjured by you will decimate your enemies. Lightning and air spells are amplified when using this staff.”
Staff of the Abjurer (30g):
“Overwhelming power is great and all, but pure offense isn’t going to protect those close to you when it comes down to it. For those situations, this staff exists. This oaken staff is simple in appearance, but invaluable when it comes to making shields, barriers, wards, and the like. Protect yourself, protect those close to you.”
Wands:
Wand of Hidden Doors (30g):
“This wand is invaluable for spelunkers of ruins. When this wand of discreet black wood is used, it floats up into the air, and points to the nearest trapdoor or hidden entrance.”
Wand of the Spider (25g):
“For bounty hunters, this wand makes your life a cinch. When this wand is used, magical spider webbing is sprayed from the tip to encapsulate the thing of your choosing. Only works within close range.”
Wand of the Twin Masks (15g):
“Want to put that frown upside down, or vice versa? For that occasion, this wand exists! Flick it to the right at someone, and it causes them to smile uncontrollably. Flick it to the left, it causes them to frown intensely.”
Wand of Grease (15g):
“This wand seems a bit slippery. Flick this wand upwards, and a spray of grease will spew forth to cover others, and making the ground VERY slippery. Warning: Do NOT bring the substance anywhere close to an open flame.”
Wand of Cleanliness (10g):
“Made a mess? Not a problem! This wand can clean up any mess of small size. It dusts up your valuable antique selection, it wipes up spilled liquids, it cleans stained clothing and armor, it even clears away rust! Warning: Does not reassemble broken objects.”
Wand of Reassembling (15g):
“Broke your favorite vase? Your wagon wheel broke down and you’re miles upon miles away from civilization? The Wand of Reassembling is here for you. Activate its magic while pointing it at the object you want fixing, and a beam of magic will leap from the tip to fix the singular break on the object you want. Warning: Does not heal people.”
Miscellaneous:
Living Chef (75g):
“Can’t cook a meal? No problem! With this set of cooking tools imbued with the knowledge of cookbooks from all over Azeroth, never go hungry again! Simply say the command word of your choice where it’s meant to cook, give it supplies of your choice, and let it go! Takes requests and adheres to allergies. Can be used on the road!”
Scribe’s Set (50g):
“This set includes an floating inkwell that never runs dry, a quill that can write in arcane scripture, a blank spellbook, and a coin that can transform into a full wooden desk and chair. Perfect for the caster on the go, or as a gift for your magic-inclined friend or apprentice!”
Mage’s Hammer (10g):
“This tiny jeweler’s hammer, when used to lightly tap an enchanted item, sends the information of what that item does directly to the mind of the user. Great for an adventurer going through their spoils!”
Gryphon’s Bridle (30g):
“This black bridle can be placed on any ground mount, from horses to nightsabers to kodos and worgs. It automatically shrinks or enlarges for a snug fit. When the rider wills it, their mount will get to fly for five minutes. Great for when things get hairy in an adventure!”
Satchel of Holding* (25g):
“An adventurer’s best friend. This satchel holds more than its simple exterior suggests, able to hold up to 500 lbs of items! Keeps your blades from rusting or growing dull while inside, and keeps your proof of kills from spoiling! A must-have for any traveler.”
Glasses of Translation (20g):
“A must-have for both bureaucrats and merchants. When worn, the following languages (when read) are translated into Common for the wearer: Draenic, Thalassian, Darnassian, Gnomish, Dwarvish, Gutterspeak, Orcish, Goblin, Zandalari, Taurahe, and even Nerubian!”
Pipe of Insight** (35g):
“An excellent tool for the student pressed for time, or for the researcher on the brink of a discovery. When any material is lit in the pipe, and then smoked for five minutes, the smoker feels great mental clarity, and their body rejuvenates as if they had a full night’s rest. The mental clarity lasts for four hours.”
Quiver of Swift Strikes (25g):
“This quiver, beautifully decorated with kaldorei etchings and made of mithril and ash wood, has two compartments. One can hold up to sixty arrows, and the other can hold up to six bows or staves!”
Goggles of Revealing (25g):
“An illusion! What are they hiding?! Now, with these stylish goggles, you know exactly what! When worn, it peels past illusions to reveal to you the truth!”
Statuette Roulette (5g each):
“Feeling lucky? Purchase a random statuette! When you’re outside, go ahead and say the command word that comes with it, and it’ll spring into a real life animal! If you’re lucky, you might win a prize-winning mount!”
Rod of Absorption (30g):
“Feeling frustrated at casters? Quick with your hands? Then this foot-long metallic rune rod is just for you! When it comes into contact with a projectile spell, the runes activate, and absorbs the spell. With a flick of the wrist, the spell is flung in that direction! Can only hold one spell at a time.”
Glove of Spellstoring (50g):
“An excellently-woven silk glove. Whenever a caster begins a spell, they can instead choose to store it inside this mana-woven glove. The spell can then be released instantly at a later date.”
Backpack of Hauling (75g):
“The Satchel of Holding’s big brother. Each compartment on this multi-faceted backpack is its own miniature satchel of holding, the smaller compartments holding up to 150 pounds for each of the eight, the medium compartments up to 700 pounds for each of the four, and the one main storage space can hold up to a whopping 2,000 pounds! Altogether, this backpack can hold up to an amazing 6,000 pounds of stuff!”
*Disclaimer: Do not put living things inside the satchel of holding. They will suffocate due to the lack of air.
**Disclaimer: The Pipe does not replace the need for actual sleep. Please do not use more than once every three days.
Spell Scrolls:
Attribute Scrolls (15g):
“Sometimes, a shaman’s blessing can be costly, or outright unavailable when you need it most. Look no further, dear customer! Our Attribute Scrolls have exactly what you need to enhance a part of yourself to see you through your current trials! Hold aloft, shout one of the following words, and that attribute of yours will be increased: Intellect, Strength, Endurance, Speed, or Spirit. Only one attribute can be raised at a time, and the effect lasts for ten minutes.”*
Armor Scroll (25g):
“Sometimes, shields and armor just don’t cut it. When you’re staring down a dragon’s breath, the last thing you want to be worrying about is if an ally can cast a barrier around you in time. Worry no longer, for our Armor Scrolls have your back. Simply hold it aloft, shout ‘Protect!’, and a very durable magic barrier forms around you for thirty seconds. Use when you feel that a lot of hurt is coming.”*
Scroll of Recall (30g):
“Sometimes, the best-laid plans still fall to ruins. When the worst has come to pass, don’t worry: Our Scrolls of Recall have your back. Before you head out on your next adventure, just hold the scroll aloft and say ‘Set’, and when you wish to return, say ‘Recall’.”* **
Scroll of Fireball (30g):
“Ever wanted to throw fire without all that need for ‘practice’ or ‘education’? Look no further! Hold this scroll aloft and unrolled, announce ‘Fireball!’, and then throw the fireball as if it were a weightless ball! Warning: Has ten-foot explosion radius. Do not cast at a location within ten feet.”*
*Disclaimer: All spell scrolls are one-use items. After they are used, they will turn to useless magic ash.
**Disclaimer: Do not ‘Set’ in a cramped area, or in a place with heavy foot traffic. Upon purchasing a Scroll of Recall, you agree to a verbal contract that you nor anyone you know will take legal action against Death’s Door for the crime of telefragging.
Potions and Oils:
Potion of Healing (10g):
“An adventurer’s back-up plan never tasted so sweet. This red liquid, when drunk, heals most of the user’s wounds! Now tastes sweet, rather than bitter! Warning: Does not regenerate limbs, eyes, or brain matter. Do NOT use on plant life.”
Potion of Mana (10g):
“A caster’s insurance plan. This blue liquid, when drunk, it restores some of the user’s magical reserves, allowing them to cast more spells! Now with half the bitterness, and half the ‘cooldown’ time!” Warning: Do not use more than one mana potion every one hour.
Potion of Speed (30g):
“Need to get somewhere in a hurry? Not a problem! Just drink this golden swirling liquid with streaks of black inside, and you’ll find yourself able to tap-dance across the battlefield! Be faster, react quicker, and think faster! Effects only last ten minutes. Warning: Do not use with drugs.
Phial of the Hero (60g):
“There may be times when your back is cornered, when you’re all out of options. For those situations, this potion exists. A tiny phial, with a liquid inside that glows all the colors of the rainbow and is an almost blinding white. When imbibed, the user’s wounds are healed and their magic is restored, with a regeneration effect for both. They become physically and magically stronger, tougher, faster, better by a very significant amount for a short time. Do not use this lightly.”
Potion of Remove Curse (20g):
“Got a cursed friend? Perhaps they put on a cursed item, and now they can’t take it off? Not to fear! Simply have your friend drink this slowly swirling green potion or put it on the cursed item in question, and the curse will be permanently removed (if on a person) or annulled long enough for the item to be removed (if on an item). Warning: Does not work on very powerful curses. Does not cure the worgen curse.”
Alchemist’s Fire (15g):
“‘I love the smell of fire in the morning’. Now, you can enjoy it too. Simply remove the metal cap over the cork stopper, shake this fiery orange potion until it fizzes, and toss! Great for dealing with plant monsters, or wild animals. The fire is sticky, but does not spread.”*
Oil of Magic Enhancement (15g):
“Blade dulling? Armor rusting? Need magic arms or armor NOW? Look no further! Simply apply an oil of magic enhancement on a suit of armor or weapon, and the oil will spread, repairing dents, cracks, erasing rust, and will turn the piece into a magic item for the next five hours!”**
*Disclaimer: Death’s Door is not responsible for the loss of limb, life, or love that Alchemist’s Fire is responsible for. Upon purchasing Alchemist’s Fire, you have made a verbal agreement that you cannot sue or otherwise bring Legal Action against Death’s Door or any affiliates.
**Disclaimer: Do not put on genitals. Seriously, don’t. You’ll get cancer if you do this.

The Armor of the Prophetess
So.
It has taken me almost a month to get to the point in Enderal where I have made my own armor set. I have read over 70 books to master my handicraft. Spent over 20 memory points to become a god at crafting and enchanting. Several weeks trying to find filled Grand Soul Gems.
And now here I am, able to present to you, the Armor of the Prophetess set. This armor set (and the weapons) were created by me entirely. Literally took forever to get all of this but here we are. Before showing you what all the set is, let’s look at Clerissa in her namesake armor shall we?
We won’t forget the weapons either. Was a bitch trying to find the Magical Thorium Ingot and the Dreamflower before I died of Arcane Fever in Yuslan’s alternate reality.
Now that you’ve seen the badass that this woman is, take a look at the stats of the armor and be blown away!
And of course the weapons
So yeah. This was a bitch to make and took so much time, but I am now ready for the endgame of Enderal. I am going out in style. Clerissa is going to fucking rock it.
LET’S DO THIS

TModLoader's maker portrays it as a mod to make mods, which makes It a significant asset for anyone keen on modding Terraria. It follows in the strides of the halted tAPI, and enables modders to keep up their manifestations perfect with each other.
Not exactly as Sexy as a whole transformation, rebalancing or ton of new things, however TModLoader keeps up new mods ticking along years after Terraria's discharge.

8. Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?
Malfeitor has been manufacturing guns for a long time, both rifles and pistols as part of his engineering training. He still has his first Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer, which he considered his finest work for a long time. After mastering his craft he began designing and creating his own ballistic weapons so he’s very familiar with guns. He’s so comfortable with this sort of weaponry the memory of his first target is long lost, but he practiced a great deal before ever relying on a gun in combat. Now he would never go out without his pistol. Guns and explosives are just as natural to him as his melee weapons.
11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
When his brother Nazarath was putting him through rather rigorous rogue training, there was a terrible accident and Malfeitor fell from an incredible height. He lost his footing and fell from the edge of a cliff next to the guild training grounds and landed squarely on his jaw. It shattered completely, with no hope of being salvaged. He was terrified and in extreme pain at the time, but his closest friends all came to his aid and through their care he was able to eventually recover.
While being bedridden, one of the people who had stitched up the original wounds and helped him through recovery, taught him leatherworking, which he studied intensely. A few months after the incident, he used his combined knowledge to design and crafted a khorium/thorium prosthetic jaw and perform self surgery, including skin grafts.
The incident and its aftermath is now something that fills him with pride and fond memories as it was long ago, but he still has a strong dislike of heights despite learning how to climb mountains safely to conquer that fear. Its something he’s now quiet skilled at, but it still causes him anxiety at times.
22. What does your character like in other people?
Kindness and honesty. Malfeitor is a mechanical genius but since he has no memories of life prior to being reanimated as a Forsaken, he can be a bit naive when it comes to social interaction. As he has always been a bit strange in appearance and mannerisms (and even more so these days), he’s often treated differently and he’s highly intuitive of that fact even if he doesn’t quite understand the reasons why. When people are actually upfront and kind to him without being dismissive or disdainful.
34. Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?
He’d immediately move on to a different method, after taking careful notes of what was, and what was not, a success in the failed attempt. From there, he’d carefully devise either an a) revised, or b), a completely different plan.
Regardless of the details, he’d treat any problem as if it was a failed invention and go back to the schematic drafting table, using the principles of his life’s calling towards scientifically coming up with an optimal solution.
38. Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?
This is a highly situational question for Malfeitor. If he feels he can easily use his engineering skills or former Deathstalker affiliation to remove the threat with science or stealth, he’ll take care of it. If it’s something he has to face head on or knows is beyond his abilities, he feels no shame in retreating. When it comes to social interactions he doesn’t like confrontation, ridicule or hostility and will absolutely remove himself even if he could easily win in a dual.

elements awoken mod review!
hey gamers! i finally finished my run of the elements awoken mod. i wanted to give an overview of it for anyone interested (this is a bit of a long post). i’m not a huge critic, but i do have a few small things i want to mention that i didn’t like as much.
weapons, armor, and classes
all classes of warrior, ranger, mage, and summoner are supported throughout the entire mod. there are a variety of weapons at every stage that can be used alongside vanilla weapons/any other modded weapons. every character is spawned with a mystic gemstone in their inventory, which can be crafted into a weapon for any of these four classes. this weapon can be upgraded at three other points in the game. there is also a developed throwing class.
armor for specific classes expands a lot once you get into hardmode. there are a lot of donator sets, one of which i used the last three bosses. there were longer breaks between modded armor upgrades, but i found that it was worth the wait, as the modded armor worked better for me than vanilla armor.
i played as a ranger, and my favorite weapons were the thundering recurve, desolation line, and the chaotron impaler! the planetary yoyos were a lot of fun, too.
boss prompts
boss prompts are a sort of debuff that affects your character before you fight several of the bosses added by the mod. they range from spawning a certain type of scorpion, to freezing you in place, to giving you hallucinations (this one writes in chat as well...the amount of false alarm boss spawn messages it gives stressed me out and actually made me nervous for the fight. it’s one of my favorite prompts). they definitely encouraged me to get those fights done.
bosses
elements awoken adds 13 bosses; two pre-hardmode, five hardmode, and six post-moon lord. i found them all to be very exciting and well made! a lot of the bosses took me a few tries to get to know the AI, and the final two caused me a lot of pain. i never did even out my kill/death ratio with azana. defeating the bosses was always rewarding. some caused new enemies to spawn, some gave access to new ores, several had me shaking after a hard earned win, and not to be over dramatic but beating the final boss left me lightheaded.
events
there are two events added in this mod, both of them post-moon lord: the dawn of the void and the radiant rain. i loved both of these, they were engaging and had a ton of unique enemies; i actually decided to give the mod a try after hearing the dawn of void’s theme (all the music in this mod is fantastic, by the way). they both had their own mini boss, the shade wyrm and the radiant master. you can craft some really fun weapons and accessories from materials dropped during the events.
some minor things
this is really just nitpicking, but here’s a list of some things i had issues with:
-regaroth’s boss prompt activates pretty early. this isn’t even a problematic one, it just makes it rain more often. it starts after beating your first mech boss, but because there are three more bosses between your first mech and regaroth, it would make more sense if it started after all three mech bosses had been defeated.
-the temple keepers and the guardian felt a little easy for the first post-moon lord bosses. maybe it was because i was playing on normal mode, but i took out both of them pretty fast.
-the mini bosses were also easy to take out compared to the events they spawn in. it took me longer to kill an average enemy during the dawn of the void than it took me to kill shade wyrm.
-speaking of events, it would be really nice to be able to summon the radiant rain without needing materials from the event to craft a summon item. sometimes it takes a really long time for rain to start again, and it isn’t guaranteed that the event will occur.
-the instructions on azana’s infection heart could be clearer. i’m still not exactly sure how it works.
-summoner gets a really cool final armor set, it would be nice to see something like this for the other four classes.
-i didn’t read enough into the differences between the empty vessel and the chaosporadic heart to know how to use them so here’s what you do!!: you can use each of them ten times to increase your max life to 700! this is more of my fault, but it would’ve been nice to mention it in the tooltip.
-the wiki has different information than what’s in the game, but of course this is no fault of the developers!
overall,
i loved elements awoken! it’s the first full content mod i’ve played, and i spent about 50 hours completing it. i was always looking forward to the next weapon upgrade, the next accessory, the next boss fight. this is a really nice mod for someone looking to play an extensive content mod, besides calamity or thorium. if the hell and high water update gets finished at some point, i will definitely revisit this mod.

Black Rock Mountain. The hardships of our lives here are nothing compared to the past. Far back, beyond the Age of Chaos, it was one of the three grand dwarven kingdoms - the home of Dark Irons, bound in servitude to Ragnaros the Firelord. Torn by civil wars, shifting hands between dwarves, dragons and later orcs, the Mountain was a grim and hellish place. When the Immortan arrived, he ended ages-long conflicts and brought the Thorium Brotherhood back from exile, shaping them into a cult of his own. Dissenters were killed or cast down, destined to become starved wretches begging for scraps from Immortan’s table. Loyalty was rewarded with undeath, twice over for the chosen few, dubbed the Pale In Thorium. And despite his own lichdom, Immortan had a place for the living in his plans… though his designs were revolting on too many levels to count.
But for all of Immortan’s evil, he brought order to Black Rock. No less bloody and terrible than the rule his predecessors, it was still a solid foundation on which we are building today.
=+=
The Warfury surveyed the gate area as she walked towards the Gwarig. The place was swarming with people both living and undead. Ghouls prowled the darker corners of the great hall, hopeful for some unwary wretch or lost pup to stray from the well-lit gateway. Deathsworn crawled all over the train of armored carriages, preparing them for departure. A few accepted necros hung from the Gwarig’s harness, strapping the gigantic beast into the train under Ace’s watchful eye, chanting one of their Deathsworn mantras to coordinate their moves.
“Hooked up!” - bellowed Ace. The dwarf’s face was smeared with chalk and charcoal, and coupled with his energetic moves, he looked almost alive. “Today we’re heading to Fuselight!”, he shouted, the necros repeating his words in acknowledgement. “We’re bringin’ to them tools and produce! On the way back we hit the Cauldron and load up on ore and weapons!” - he looked at the approaching Warfury and saluted. The orc woman raised her good hand in greeting and inspected the necros’ work. All seemed in order.
“All aboard!” - she instructed, climbing onto the Gwarig. The beast waited patiently, unmoving, until she reached the palanquin on its nape. Her Deathsworn crew clambered onto their train, taking their stations, escorts jumped onto their own mounts. She could leave at any time, but no - there was still the thrice-damned ceremony they had to witness.
Everyone’s eyes looked up to the platform hanging over the hall. A pale blue flame came to life around it, setting it apart from the reddish glow of the volcanic chamber and eliciting a murmur from the people below. Slowly, the noises gained rhythm and volume, turning into a chant.
“Immortan” - they called. “Immortan!”
The master of Black Rock Mountain knew how to stage his appearances, she had to hand it to the old bastard. He appeared on the platform with his entourage, bathed in cold light and locked into his grim armor, an imposing figure even from this distance. Most inhabitants of the Mountain only knew this majestic image. The Warfury knew better.
“My faithful” - the metallic, raspy voice echoed through the chamber, reverberating from the carefull carved ceiling. The chant died down instantly. “Once again we send the mighty Gwarig to bring back fuel from Fuselight and arms from the Cauldron. Once again, I salute my Warfury, the Sword of Black Rock, and I salute my loyal Deathsworn, who will one day ride with me, eternally, Pale In Thorium!” Chants rose up again, as the Deathsworn raised their arms in supplication. “Pale In Thorium!”, they cried. The Brotherhood stuffed their heads with the Immortan’s teachings, and the very mention of their reward made the poor corpses ecstatic. “Pale In Thorium!”
“I am your Life and Eternity!” - the Immortan bellowed over the masses. “By my hand, every one of you rose and shall ever rise from the ashes of death!”
The crowds roared in applause. Warfury knew what came next - the true reason for all the living wretches’ glee was not the oratory talent of their master, but the last part of the ritual. On the grim figure’s command, water trickled from the walls and food started dropping from the balconies above the hall. The wretched swarm dissolved into a life-or-death fight for these merciful scraps, distracting them from the convoy’s departure and the Immortan’s disappearance. In the shadows, ghouls watched and waited for the chaos to settle. Once the living vermin cleared out with the food, they would feast on the casualties.
The Warfury pushed these thoughts from her mind and focused on the road ahead. It was long enough to make her think twice about her plans, and the precious cargo below.

An Hour of Reflection: Part 1
I be Khazl, Earthern, Dwarf. Not many know my past, nor me intentions for the future. I be sayin’ it’s time I spoke of it, least in minor portions. A meal for a gnome, a passin’ snack for a tauren. I be Dark Iron, birthed three centuries prior to today, give or take a few years I can nae account for with me memory. I was born in the old days of the Dark Iron, when Clan Ironforge still followed Anvilmar and not a council. As a babe I cried when the civil war began and the flames of Ironforge did not just burn hearth and forge. I nae remember the halls then, only the hate that burned within me people sense our exile southwards, to the bountiful north mountains of Redridge. I grew up in those mountains, admiring the red limestone that the region got its name. The capital for us was Thaurissan, named after our Thane. Much of that life in me first hundred years be unimportant, however, except for me grandfather. A rune master he was, always provikin’ clan fueds when he lived in Ironforge. He was me inspiration.
The second hundred years is when time began to get interestin’. I may be off on me datin’ or me own memory, but that time the Second War of Three Hammers began. I will again spare many details, but I was was either a soilder or a young lady unable yet to join the army, while me grandfather and father fut furiously. My grandfather met his end when the war’s dusk came closin’, and the dawn of chains began. This time I know most well, for me family had formed fanatical to the God of Flame. This was the time me Father took the last name Blackforge, for him and the Thorium worked the Black Forge often, craftin’ weapons of splendor and flame. Tis the first time I knew betrayel, for the day came when the Brotherhood abandoned the Clan and fled north, with me cousin Horton behind. He put a bullet in me dad’s leg when me father tried to stop him.
Me father recovered, but crippled on his left leg. He became a retired officer then, lost to his forge while I followed his and me grandfather’s footsteps. I fought I many wars with the Bronzebeards, but my final battle ended in my removal of service. The details be a manner private, for special ears, such as me beloved Vorzzak who’s always twitches with the right flick, but know I saw me commander die, I recovered his hammer and lead a retreat. After the failed mission I was casted out by the military, shunned by me father and left alone ‘cept for brothers and me youngest sister. My mother took keen interest in me those years though, and trained me in my grandfather’s art. We Dark Iron were always a sorcerous people, meself no different. Decades of runic learnin’, dabblin’ in arcane and eventually delving to full magical theory. I learned enough to impress me ol’ military lads, and served as a researcher with them at Uldaman and elsewhere for a time. But that nae important anyways, I’ve rambled on long enough. I shall speak more on meself and soon my intentions later, when the time be right. (To be continued)

A Compendium of Metals
Credit to Goldenblood, Dulgrun, and Yatanokogami
In all my years of Adventuring, smithing, and wandering the worlds, the magnificence of metals in Azeroth, Outland and Draenor never cease to amaze me, and I hope the information I have gathered here in this small compendium will help those who are in need of the knowledge. -Ashton Ironblood
Azerothian, Outlandish and Draenor Metals.
Azerothian Metals Pre-Cataclysm, or “Second Sundering”
Copper: An extremely common metal used on all continents for its high conductivity of electricity and heat, it is not an extremely strong metal, and is a poor material for weaponry and armor, but this only saves to make it cheaper and more widespread for Engineers, it is considered one of the first metals to be discovered.
Tin: Often used for creating the alloy Bronze in combination with Copper, Tin nonetheless plays a heavy hand in the training of beginner smiths, black or silver, and is required for the creation of Pewter. Due to how often they were used together, and the creation of Bronze, Tin and Copper are often considered the “Brother and Sister” of metals.
Pewter: An extremely malleable alloy that is comprised almost entirely of tin, with copper, antimony or bismuth added to increase its hardness. Pewter is commonly used for eating utensils and plates, and has deep historical significance to the dwarves of the Wetlands, as the Wetlands produce nearly all of the pewter used by the Ironforge Crafting Guilds, and is used in the Ironblood Thane’s Crown and Signet Ring.
Brass: an alloy of copper and zinc, Brass is well-known for its acoustic properties and its ability to cause loud reverberations across long distances, which is why it is commonly used for musical instruments. However, with the recent uncovering of Pandaria and the Mantid’s use of vibrational and harmonic technology, the usefulness of Brass as an engineering and weaponry component is coming back into question.
Bronze: An alloy composed of Copper and other metals (Almost always tin), Bronze is a staple in the history of Azeroth’s younger, Titanic races. While its strength is less than properly forged Iron, it is more pliable, and its use was extremely widespread hundreds of years ago by the human tribes before their coalition together under the Stromic Banner. Its usefulness has been phased out to the weaponry and armor of “lesser races”, such as gnolls and murlocs, but it will forever hold a place of cultural significance to those who remember days before the Troll Wars.
Silver: Considered by many to be a mostly-ornamental metal, used to display wealth and symbolizing longevity. Silver can nonetheless be mixed with certain key metals to enhance its innate magically-sensitive nature, as well as being used as currency accepted nearly everywhere (Even goblins accept silver, begrudgingly).
Iron: The staple metal of Azeroth, it comes in many extreme forms and qualities and quantities. Mined and consumed in massive quantities every day, this metal found its first major usage by the Titans, who created Iron and Steel constructs, temples and Golems at the apex of their work upon Azeroth. This metal, when properly forged, is strong and stable, and has been the point of interest in many epic sagas, poems, and dwarven liturgies. Not all Iron is created equal, and comes in forms ranging from borderline useless, such as in the Badlands, to the stuff of legends, such as in Dun Morogh.
Steel: An alloy of Iron and Carbon, Steel has found its most major usage in its usefulness in weaponry and armor, being the “Tried and True” metal of warfare, it is just as varied in terms of its strength and quality as Iron is, but the quality is more dependent upon the correct smelting of the alloy rather than where it comes from (But Ancestor’s help you if you have to fight someone who has a Warhammer made of Iron from Dun Morogh and Smelted in the Great Forge).
Gold: “The King’s Metal”, famed everywhere for its commercial value in making things pretty and half-handedly known for its usefulness in transmutation. As for its usefulness, if someone compares an item to “A sword of gold”, that means it’s completely and totally useless. Don’t use Gold for weapons and armor, just don’t.
Mithril: “The magician’s metal”, Mithril is revered by craftsman of all trades for its extremely magical properties and light weight. While it is not as easy to work with, and is slightly less brittle than steel or steel-substitutes, those who have the time and patience to work with this beautiful metal are rewarded with works of art that can double as efficient and magical tools.
Truesilver: “The Archmage’s Metal” Rarer than Mithril or Silver, Truesilver combines the best perks of both metals, creating a metalloid that seems to have otherworldly, almost divine properties. These properties have been so over exaggerated, in fact, that it is believed that Truesilver is the bane of all worgen, and searing a worgen bite with a heated truesilver dagger can prevent the Curse from taking hold, as is expected, nobody has tried to prove this theory true or false.
Thorium: One of the strongest naturally-forming metals on Azeroth, Thorium is renowned worldwide for its weight and it’s resistance to heat. While this makes it extremely difficult to forge and rather unwieldy for those who are not accustomed to its weight, when properly mastered, Thorium weapons can have the grace of a glaive, with the crushing power of a Warhammer, and fire mages hate shields made of the stuff.
Dark Iron: “The Lifeblood of Blackrock Mountain”, Dark Iron, named after the Dark Iron Clan (Or the other way around, the records really aren’t clear) is the –most- fire-retardant, fire-resistant metal that forms naturally on Azeroth. It’s so resistant to heat, in fact, that only the Black Forge near the heart of the Molten Core, where Ragnaros once laid his fiery head, can properly smelt the metal into a useable form, and it is customary that weapons and armor made of Dark Iron only be forged upon the Black Anvil, and a great deal of ore is lost as slag, making the process long-winded and very expensive, but for those who have the time and patience, legends tell that one Mountain King in Dark Iron Armor can defeat a dozen fire mages at once and not even singe his beard.
Arcanite: “The Alchemist’s First Metal”, Arcanite is a strange creature, as it is the creation of arcane crystals and Thorium combined to create something completely alien to their reagents. Arcanite is a strong, heavy metal that is rumored to hold the sharpest edge in all of Azeroth, and is also magically attuned, allowing for enchantments and inscribing with Truesilver. There was controversy over the safety of using Arcanite for a period of time after demons in the Blasted Lands were found to use the metal, bringing up conversations of Arcane and Fel corruption. These questions and concerns were quickly silenced by the mining operations in Silithis, where “Natural” deposits of Arcanite were found underneath dead silithid hives, covered in a strange resin that acted as a catalyst for the reaction. Even to this day, one is more likely to find arcane crystals and Thorium together in hive clusters such as these.
Elementium: A Pseudo-Azerothian Metal that resides within the elemental plane, no metal reacts as readily or as violently to the natural forces of Azeroth more. This metal is unnaturally strong, unnaturally resistant, and STUPIDLY hard to work with without causing a forge-wide explosion from the magical catalytic reaction. Only the most experienced of smiths should even consider working with Elementium, and though weapons made of Elementium are powerful beyond recompense, they are also dangerous beyond recompense, and one must always keep wary that the elements do not take kindly to being warped for mortal’s uses.
Lightforge Iron: A strange and divine material that is both rare and –extremely- difficult to work with, due to its tendency to fracture and crack under certain conditions, Lightforge nonetheless is considered Divine by those who wield it and revere both weaponry and armor created of this strange, touched material. Lightforge is well-known for its tendency to always absorb and reflect light, giving armor a shiny appearance at all times, and making blades and other weaponry of Lightforge glow with a holy energy. Despite the rumors, some demons use Lightforged weapons simply out of spite, and not some hidden higher purpose.
Bloodstone: Bloodstone ore, occasionally used by the Burning Legion in their weaponry of lesser demons, has earned a bad reputation over the years, and is almost completely ignored. While it is nowhere as strong as Steel, it is more magically sensitive, unfortunately, this sensitivity to the arcana often points towards Fel, hence why the Legion uses the metal so readily for the more disposable of their great empire. On one “Positive” note for Bloodstone, when taken to a proper alchemist and treated, it can be distilled into Essence of Agony, which was used for the most powerful debilitating or pain-inducing poisons pre-Cataclysm.
Indurium: Another footnote in Azeroth’s past, before the massive shift to titanium for use in mechanical parts for goblin racers and choppers, Indurium was originally used for parts such as the muffler, and was only found in Uldaman, making it a point of conversation for the Exploration League, Indurium was no longer used after it was found it was extremely toxic to the racers over long periods of time, such as the Badlands 5000 Grand Prix.
Incendicite: A powerful and rare metal, the Wetlands is proud to be the only source of this extremely dangerous and explosive material. Though Seaforium can get most jobs done by itself, if something –REALLY- needs to blow up, an ounce of Incendicite will do what ten ounces of Seaforium do! It’s extremely difficult to process and manufacture safely, as one could expect, so those brave enough to do the job are handsomely rewarded (They don’t have good insurance though).
Ahn’Qiraj Obsidian: While not chemically different than regular obsidian, the druids of the Cenarion Circle have found ways of augmenting this glasslike material into heavy suits of armor, light harnesses comparable to chainmail, and even a shield rumored to be the rival of The Immovable Object, a legendary shield that is given to defenders of both the Alliance and Horde for bravery in the battle of Alterac Valley.
Cobalt: A metal found most commonly in the frozen expanses of Northrend, this metal is often praised as “The rock that saved a campaign”, as the Alliance and Horde were heavily dependent upon mining and forging the metal into weaponry and armor for the Northrend Campaign, and were fortunate to learn that the metal was just as strong as Steel and was easily smithed. Its usefulness in Engineering, combined with its natural strength and ease-of-use has brought up the question of replacing steel’s usage in the military with Cobalt, this will not happen for some time, however, as major Cobalt in mining in Northrend is difficult, due to the large number of Undead still roaming those lands.
Saronite: “The Damned Metal”, those who were unfortunate enough to use Saronite before it’s almost universal ban have been lost to madness, and many who do not know the History of Saronite may be confused by the horror stories told about the Northrend Campaign. Saronite is the coagulated blood of Yogg-Saron, the Old God of Death, and its strength, resistant to elements, and even the Light, are legendary, however, those who are in contact with it, even for but a moment, are damned to insanity, be it partial, temporary, or permanent. There are tales of whole battalions of men lost within the blizzards of Icecrown for simply treading on veins of the metal, their minds deteriorating to dribbling messes within minutes, if not seconds. Only the Death Knights of Acherus and Undead can use the metal without ill effect.
Titanium: An extremely strong metal with a low density and resistance to corrosion, both magical and natural, Titanium was “Rediscovered” in Northrend during the Campaign against the Lich King, and has been used ever since for the aforementioned properties, and while it is a bit impractical to use this in forging weaponry and armor (As it is surprisingly sparse), it has a more powerful, more hidden and more sacred use.
Titansteel: The Magnum Opus of Alchemy and Smelting, Titansteel is considered by many to be one of the strongest, if not the strongest, metal on Azeroth. Its creation is difficult, and is held in secret by circles of Alchemists and Master Blacksmiths. The one trait that makes it so sought after, however, is it’s resistance against corruption in all forms, Fel or otherwise. There is little shared about this metal to the public for the safety of the Alchemists that forge this creation of the Gods. The one thing they share to the public is that Titanium is the base metal used for the reaction.
-Post Cataclysm Azerothian Metals-
Pyrite: Commonly known as “Fool’s gold” by many for its similar luster and texture to the valuable commodity, Pyrite, in its normal form, is nothing of utmost importance, however, it is essential in the creation of Truegold, a new and still somewhat unknown material that was discovered by Alchemists during the Cataclysm.
Truegold: A strange and wondrous new metal that does not form naturally on any known plane of existence, but is transmutable through raw unbound elemental power and Pyrite. The abilities of Truegold are still under controversy, and it has been speculated the Royal Stormwind Treasury will be considering creating a Truegold coin to count as a hundred gold coins, though this seems impractical, as the materials required to create even one coin worth of Truegold are far more than one-hundred golden coins. Though it cannot be the base of weaponry and armor, it is extremely sensitive to magic, and has been considered for use in enchanting items, aswell as already being used by engineers in their attempts to create longer-lasting and power-efficient parts.
Ghost Iron: One of the oddities of Pandaria, all Ghost Iron originated as standard iron, before being transmuted by the wondrous nature of Pandaria, as the land is overflowing with spiritual energy, some of that power “Leaked” into veins of iron, transmuting it into the strong, wondrous material we see today. Ghost Iron strong, dependable, extremely easy to forge, and, due to the recent events in Pandaria, is in un-surmounted supply, countered only by its un-surmounted demand, as Seers, historians, architects, engineers, smiths, alchemists, and every profession from A-to-Z has found a use for this strange metal.
Lightning Steel: The creation of Lei Shen and his Mogu Empire, this metal can only be forged under the most difficult and dangerous of conditions, using large amounts of Ghost Iron and super-condensing them with magnetic forces directly from the Isle. Of Thunder, this metal is costly to work with, as much of the metal turns to slag in the forging creation. Despite this, Lightning Steel remains one of the strongest and most resistant materials ever recorded to-date, while not sacrificing its weight.
Living Steel: A transmutation of Ghost Iron, Living Steel is purely condensed spiritual energy that is reactive to any form of enchantment, enhancement, and tinkering, and is considered by many Alchemists to be the Magnum-Opus-Opus. It should be noted with the name, however, that there is speculation to if the steel retains some form of sentience from the highly condensed spiritual energy, and though we have not been able to learn a definitive answer, legends in Pandaria tell of self-aware, speaking blades and weapons of differing personalities, though it is often the case that those weapons that bathe in blood frequently are more prone to violent “Mindset.”
Trillium: A strange metal that comes in two forms: Black Trillium, which is naturally smoother and rounded, and White Trillium, which is more gritty and jagged. These two metals can be combined by expert blacksmiths and smelters into singular bars containing both Black and White, which increases its strength several-fold, though it is slightly imbalanced. Rumors speak of Blacksmiths who have learned to balance the opposing forces of the metals to create a metal that always feels perfectly balanced in the hands of whoever holds it.
-Outland Specific Metals-
Fel Iron: An accursed metal created from the residual fel energies that tore Draenor apart, this malevolent metal is nonetheless stronger than steel, though it is costly to work with, and is also extremely dangerous to wield, as the fel corruption can bleed into the wielder of anyone who holds weapons or armor made of the material, even when they are not wielding it.
Fel Steel: This is Fel Iron times-ten, Stronger than even Thorium, it nonetheless bleeds fel energy wherever it goes, and does not lose this corruption over time, nor do the weapons or armor of this metal corrode. The creation of this metal is kept secret from general public for safety reasons, for those who hold Fel Steel are dangerous in more than one regard.
Adamantine: A strong and wondrous material, at one time, all the Adamantine in Azeroth could be fit into a small room, and was worth more than an entire keep’s value. Nearly indestructible, magically attuned, and revered by the Knights of the Silver Hand for creating magnificent warhammers, this metal is not from Azeroth, and is actually an odd rarity that occurs in the chaotic forces of Outland. Though the price of Adamantine has slightly lowered over recent years, it is still by no means a common commodity.
Hardened Adamantine: Good luck breaking this, while it’s even rarer and more valuable than regular Adamantine, the creation of Hardened Adamantine relies upon its ability to super-condense, and due to this is super-heavy, and borderline unbreakable, to the point where it is theorized it could break even Saronite, which has drawn Knights of the Silver Hand to the metal to create even more powerful warhammers, should they ever cross blades with the Rogue Death Knight.
Khorium: While Khorium itself is not very strong, and is comparable to being the Outland version of Bronze, it is required for the proper reforging and smelting of fel Steel, Eternium, and Adamantium into stronger metals.
Eternium: Not originally used for creating weaponry and armor, Eternium is a very flaky, if beautiful, metal with a luster that does not decay or diminish, hence its name holding eternal in it. During the height of the war against Illidan, however, the Blood Knights under the command of Lady Liadrin, in combination with the work of the Scryers and Aldor, managed to create weaponry that used Eternium in such a way that the weapons could constantly be reforged and re-empowered, making Eternium a staple metal in the final assaults against the Legion at the Sunwell.
-Draenor Specific Metals-
True Iron: A strange and wondrous metal that has quickly been accepted by the inhabitants of Azeroth, this plentiful metal is much stronger than natural Iron, and, when properly smelted with Blackrock, is capable of becoming Truesteel, an extremely dexterous and light material that is rumored to hold an edge just as sharp as Arcanite, and is as lustrous as silver, making it the envy of common-soldier and Noble alike. There is little to fear for them, however, as True Iron is as plentiful on Draenor as iron is on Azeroth. There is speculation to what caused all of the True Iron to disappear from our Draenor, Outland, though the general consensus is that the powerful nether forces that warped the planet transmuted the metal either to Fel Iron or Adamantine.
Blackrock: A borderline flame retardant material that comes in two common forms, Blackrock metal is a strange commodity, while being very common all across Draenor, there are not many uses for it that we are aware of, and only the Blackrock Clan truly know how to properly forge the black metal by itself. When forged correctly, the Blackrock metal can repel flame or create flames, depending on the wishes of the smith that forges is, assuming they are capable of understand the intricate complexities of forging that strange, strange metal.
Jovite: A strange bluish metal found commonly in strip mines in Talador, Jovite is commonly used as artillery shells for its ability to retain its temperature at a stable point for long periods of time, though it is most-likely useless for creating weapons and armor, as it is naturally very brittle, however, it could make leaps and bounds in the world of Engineering in new cooling technology.
