help a trans lesbian couple with car repair!!!!

hello i’m back again! we’ve been doing okay for a while but keep having setbacks.

my car was stolen last year by the kia boys :) i recently sent it in for the repair estimate bc my trade school had a emergency financial service with the state and one of the things offered was car repair. i had to send my car in to get the estimate but was denied. the diagnostic service costs $210 and i need to pay it to get my car back home before they impound it (which will also be costly 🫠)

to add insult to injury, the car im currently borrowing is in the shop today bc of a flat tire. and there are some other things needing repaired for summer and safety:

fluid coolant exchange: ~$140

spark plug replacement: ~$235

tire replacement: $165

all of that plus a bit extra to clear our overdraft and the amount we would like to raise is $850.

i know this is a big ask, but i’m hoping our community will rally around us again, especially during pride month. we feel closer to being out of the hole but i know this will set us back months, as we went through this already when i first lost my car last year. please consider sharing funds and if you don’t have the funds, please share the post. 🙏🏾

You giggle as you stand just out of reach of the curse. Chains wrapped around his body as he glared death at you.

“My Kuna~” you coo, making a pouty face as you gaze at the pink haired man. He only scoffs and glares, finally giving up trying to escape.

“I really should just kill ya…” he mutters, scowl deepening as you only laugh more. “Then why don’t ‘ya?” He rolls his eyes, tugging one last time at the chains. “I’ll get around to it..” You hum, circling him. Pretty. You think to yourself.

For decades upon decades you two have been at each other’s throats. For years it’s been like a twisted game of cat and mouse, never quite getting the upper hand on the other. Sukuna watches you circle him, predatory gaze never leaving your body.

“Come gimme a kiss Kuna~” you tease, cackling to yourself. He scoffs, looking at you dangerously through his lashes.

“Kiss? Would I be stupid enough to kiss the likes of you?” He mocks.

“We’ve fucked”

“Once”

“Many times, to many times.” You grin, unraveling his chains. He shakes himself off, but makes no advances towards you. Your hand trails down his muscular chest, humming in appreciation as you admire his body.

“My Kuna’s ‘s too pretty…” you mutter.

“Not yours.” Your eyes narrow as he says this.

“To fucking obsessed with getting my attention.” You grin again, walking just close enough to touch.

“Well what was I made for?”

He glances down at you, eyes not so subtly looking at your ass.

“You’re delusional.” He finally says, looking away. This time you scoff. “You haven’t killed me yet, so what does that mean?” He rolls his eyes.

“Key word being yet. Could always do so when I choose.” You shrug. He stares.

A moment of silence before he sighs. “You amuse me women.” You let out an uncontrollable laugh. “I amuse you? Well I’ll be damned.”

“My Kuna thinks I’m amusing.”

He huffs and starts to walk off, you follow closely behind him.

“I could torture you, make your deaths slow and painful one. Won’t stop till you’re screaming for mercy.” You giggle.

“All you do is test me. Should have killed ya the moment I laid eyes on ya.”

Fitness Fairy: A Journey of Reflection, Growth & Resilience

This is me in 2022, and now it’s 2025. As I prepare to add a new photo to this blog, I realize that despite my efforts to maintain my fitness, I’ve been dropping the ball. Life’s stresses, elevated cortisol levels, and personal struggles have distorted my self-perception and body in ways I didn’t fully notice until now.

First, I want to express deep gratitude to my girlfriend Miriam, my children, my family—those who love and support me unconditionally. And to the people on the outside of my life, especially those who have distanced themselves, I acknowledge the role they played in shaping my journey.

I want to give a special thanks to Michelle Obama—for standing her ground in her beliefs. To Beyoncé��for working relentlessly, pushing the boundaries of artistry, and showing what it means to strive for excellence. And to Chris Brown—your journey has been an unexpected source of inspiration for me. Watching you navigate your hardships, the public scrutiny, and the personal battles, while staying focused on your craft, has ignited something within me.

For too long, I’ve been caught in cycles of procrastination—putting off my schoolwork, delaying my fitness journey, and indulging in food without mindful portion control. I’ve allowed financial struggles, the stress of my children’s health, and external pressures to weigh me down. I’ve been stopping and starting my workouts, falling into self-pity, and feeling like my dreams are slipping through my fingers. But something has shifted.

I’ve spent over 40 years helping others change bad habits, yet I’ve been struggling to break my own. I see now that healing—especially from early childhood trauma—is a journey that doesn’t have an expiration date. It’s something I am only now confronting in my 60s. But it’s never too late.

Watching Chris Brown’s story unfold reminded me of my own struggles. Like so many, he came from difficult circumstances, made mistakes, and was torn down by the world—but he chose to rise above. He focused. He went inward. He reclaimed his power. And now, I choose to do the same.

So, on this last day of January 2025, I recommit to my goals. I have set fitness milestones, academic aspirations, and creative projects that will not remain unfinished. I am embarking on a 21-day fast, allowing myself only small portions of fruit and protein shakes. Once I reach my daughter’s side for her surgery, I will extend this journey another 30 days. Food will not control me. Distractions will not deter me. I won’t take two more years to achieve what I know I can do quickly.

I see the future clearly—I will be walking the runways of Europe, speaking on talk shows, publishing multiple books. My children’s book series and self-health series are coming to life. Nothing will stop me.

I’ve started natural hormone therapy, balancing my testosterone with wild yams, and it has awakened a part of me I had forgotten. It’s a reminder that transformation is not just physical—it’s mental, emotional, and spiritual.

To Chris Brown—though we’ve never met, your journey has touched mine in a way I didn’t expect. Therapy, self-work, and resilience are what define true strength. If I ever meet you, I’ll thank you in person for being a beacon of focus, persistence, and creative energy.

This is my new beginning. And this time, I refuse to let anything stand in my way.

It was 2am. You had been dead asleep until about five minutes ago. Now you were awake and not even a little tired. Your phone was on your nightstand charging, but you didn’t bother picking it up, knowing that if you looked at it for a second, you’d forget about trying to sleep completely. 

Of course, it would be easier if your boyfriend was here, but he was still in a whole other country doing god knows what. He said he should be back some time next week, so now all you had to do was work and wait for him. Every night was a struggle, not being able to text or call him unless he does so first. You wondered if he was even alive, which is a horrible but valid thought.

But every time you come even close to the conclusion that he’s dead, he shows up with just a scratch or two, like your own personal superhero. You lay on your stomach, your face pressed up on your pillow, thinking about him. How selfless he was, how he never expected you to do anything for him, despite the job he has. 

You were right on the verge of sleep with sweet thoughts of Tangerine, until you heard the front door’s doorknob being rattled. You froze up and stared at the bedroom door. You shut your eyes as you finally heard the front door open, and it never occurred to you once that whoever got in had keys and the passcode. It never occurred to you that it was Tangerine.

Heavy but slow footsteps made their way towards the bedroom, making you more alert than before. Your hand made it’s way slowly to your nightstand, and when it was on your phone, the door opened gently.

Then a soft, "Babe?" made all your worries disappear. The lights turned on and when you could see him, you jumped up from the bed with your arms out, "TAN!"

“Nice to see you too.” You could feel him smiling into your neck and you could’ve melted right there.

You brought your voice to a whisper, remembering he was definitely tired. "How'd it go?"

"It went really well, actually. Mostly missed you." He smiled down at you and grabbed your hips, kissing your face anywhere he could.

You leaned into him, "I missed you more. I was worried about you."

So, been thinking about the lack of jikook spottings, and I have a different take on it. Maybe the reason we're seeing Jungkook out with Tae and Hobi is because they're not working together as much anymore, so he's making time to see them, like a good friend would. Whereas he's likely still seeing Jimin on a regular basis, no special outings required. But also, how often do we actually see jikook out together? Or Jimin at all? This year ain't no different from any other. Jikook are fine.

I really do apologise, however let me tell you something. It would appear that the Universe has made it so that this and the other remaining 2022 ASKS is unfortunately very spot-on and relevant to what is going on lately; YET AGAIN.

I’d also add that your line of thought is actually very similar to mine NGL. Just yesterday one of my colleagues who also happens to be a very close friend of mine we’ve known each other for 5 years now and have been through a lot together suddenly found herself in a situation where all the power sockets in her house were not working and she wrote it on the work whatsapp group just to see if anyone had any suggestions as what she could do. 

All of the people in the group (we are a very small team) started worrying and some even wished her good luck she didn't need luck, she needed and electrician 😬😬😬. What did I do? I didn’t write anything in the group and called her instead right away. During my burned-out period last year she was part of the people who would also be around and would try to get me out as well, so I spent a lot of time with her at work and out. 

So when last Friday one of the younger people in the team invited me out to go to a museum exhibition, since we hadn’t had time to talk in a loooong time, and he needed to confide with me, I said yes because I could feel he really needed to spend time with me and it was my fault to begin with that I wasn’t in the best mental state to hangout all of last year not my fault per-say, but you know what I mean!. All of these just to say that yes, what you said makes sense and may be plausible.

Cadet has died in a car crash on the way to a gig at Keele University in Staffordshire.

The news of Cadet's death was confirmed by his family on his official Instagram account.

In a statement to Radio 1 Newsbeat, his management said the 28-year-old was a passenger in a taxi.

Cadet's cousin Krept - of rap duo Krept and Konan - led the tributes online, saying he was "heartbroken".

The 28-year-old had been rapping alongside Krept and Konan since he was a teenager.

Staffordshire Police confirmed Cadet died in the crash in Betley in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In a statement, the force said: "Blaine Cameron Johnson, 28, of London, died after the Toyota Prius he was travelling in was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Combo van at 1.30am.

"He was pronounced dead at the scene."

A previous statement said that the drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital with serious injuries and three others were also being treated in hospital.

Cadet was on his way to Keele University where he was due to perform at the student union night Fresh Friday.

It's billed as 'Staffordshire's Biggest Hip Hop, Garage and R&B Night'.

This year was set to be massive for Cadet

For us at 1Xtra he was a huge artist.

Lots of his tracks were on the playlist last year, and even as we speak at the moment one of them is on the A-list, so it's one of the tunes that gets played the most.

To see this happen to an artist just as he's about to break through is a really sad thing.

He's from Gypsy Hill in south London and he started out in a crew called Gipset with Krept and Konan.

He's consistently being putting out music - the Commitment and the Commitment 2 are probably two of the most known pieces of work he'd put out.

He got so much recognition from those projects alone and lots more people have been paying attention to his music.

He's worked with Krept and Konan, two of the biggest rappers in the UK, Donae'o and Deno Driz on Advice, which is probably one of the biggest tunes he put out there.

It's quite a small scene so when something like this happens everybody within this industry knows it's happened.

There's no doubt in my mind that he would have been playing at so many different places this summer because he's got so many big songs out at the moment and loads in the pipeline.

In 2015, Krept brought Cadet on stage with him at Wireless Festival and this summer the rapper was due to perform at the festival.

In a statement, Wireless said: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and fans, of Cadet.

"Such sad news.

"We'll be keeping his Wireless performance as a time to reflect on the memory of Blaine."

The 2019 Congress is being sworn in, with some history-making women leading the way.

American politics has always been dominated by white males. And by dominated, I mean dominated. For the majority of U.S. history, our lawmakers have been almost exclusively white males, with only an occasional woman or person of color filling the highest decision-making roles in the land.

Even as recently as 2015, Congress was 80% white and 80% male. I have nothing against white males (I’m married to one and am raising one), but one specific demographic having that much historical power is an issue. People rail against “identity politics” as if the concept is something women and minorities invented, but no one in America has played the race and gender cards harder and longer than white male politicians; they just always had the power to do so without explicitly admitting it.

However, we are finally seeing significant waves of change to that status quo, and it is so freaking refreshing.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shared a photo of the beautifully fierce new face of politics.

Ocasio-Cortez takes her place not only as a Latina, but as the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Ayanna Pressley is the first Black woman to be elected to Congress from Massachusetts, while Ilhan Omar of Minnesota will be the first Somali-American and first Muslim woman to wear a hijab on the House floor. Sharice Davids and Deb Haaland are the first Native American women elected to Congress, with Davids (far right) also being the first openly LGBTQ+ woman serving from Kansas. Veronica Escobar (fifth from the left) enters as the first Latina Congresswoman from Texas.

These women are making history, and so many of us are 100% here for it.

There’s a reason people can’t stop staring at and sharing this photo—it’s pure fire.
