#sometimes i look at my son#and i’m just filled with so much awe#like#i helped make this person#i held him inside my body until he was ready to come out#and now he’s growing and thriving and beautiful and perfect#and yeah#sometimes he drives me absolutely insane#we’re hitting the threenager stage so he’s developed a whole lotta sass#but every part of him#even the challenging parts#are an important piece of the puzzle that makes up spencer#and I just feel so full when i realize that i get to watch this little person grow#and that i get to see each new puzzle piece discovered as he learns and discovers and shows us who he is#I just feel so full of love when i look at him#just some nighttime thoughts as i lay here next to him#he’s been struggling to sleep alone since we transitioned him out of his crib#it’s been hard#but i’d do anything if it means he feels safe and loved
