I started writing fic years and years ago. And have done so in other fandoms before taking a long hiatus from the writing world in general. I stuck with written roleplay only. For what I assume to be around four or five years, I did not write a single fic. (I also wrote short stories in childhood, teen years and young adult years)

(I want to point out though that this absolutely does not negate roleplay writing, and that writing with another person, or in a group is a lesser form) My break from fanfic came with one of the worst periods of my mental and physical health, and everything I had written was purged from my Ao3 account in a single night.

I started writing for The Old Guard in August, and below, are the things I like a lot that I’ve written for it. To do this, I decided to use the criteria of ‘fics I like the most’ instead of what seems to be the most popular to read. For me, if I really love a piece of work, I recall the creative process fondly, and have lines and bits of dialogue I truly adore within it.

1. Precision Mission Fic. Gala. Post-Movie. Current Group (Nile, Andy, Joe, NIcky)

My second fic for the fandom that I published, but the first I actually conceptualized. This one is just..so special to me. I have phone notes typed at five am. I can recall the excitement as I was so eager to share this story and get it off the ground. I wanted to see this complete so bad. I loved nearly every second of writing it, and it’s always going to hold a special place in my heart as a result. There’s so much overdone clothing talk and I can only think of it with fondness.

Excerpt:

None of them are comfortable. Except Joe, it seems.

Joe makes it look easy. Simplistic, even, judging by the way he effortlessly glides and charms his way through the expansive ball/congregating/entertaining room. Something that never failed to fascinate Nicky was the way Joe could integrate himself almost seamlessly into any scenario, situation, or environment. Neither Andy nor himself had that ability. Not when it came to cavorting, anyway. Nicky more quietly reserved, Andy lacking in the ability to care enough to fake it.

Nile seemed to be more in the middle. She did not appear overly comfortable with the mingling, but she had enough personal grace and adaptability to make it seem somewhat effortless to have a decent time.

All their eyes remained sharp on the surrounding area, awaiting the arrival of their target. And for all his schmoozing, Nicky knew Joe’s surveillance was tack-sharp, multitasking to a degree no one he was currently conversing with could have possibly noticed.

“You going to move at some point, or have you taken up permanent resident status here?” Nile asks, appearing at his side where Nicky has spent the last half-hour molded to the furthest left corner of the solid black bar. “I know you have an excellent view, but.”

Nicky snorted, though only Nile could actually tell, “Why waste a good opportunity?”, momentarily ceasing his Joe watching to stare back into the depths of his glass, which currently contained some horrifically shocking pink abomination, Nicky’s second drink, since he was letting the bar tender dictate them, too utterly distracted to care what was touching his lips, and curious with the way the bar tender had delighted in being given free reign to make whatever he desired.

To be fair, it didn’t taste that bad-something frighteningly sugary and weirdly noxious smelling, but it’s not exactly ‘crime against humanity’ levels of alcoholic nightmares.

2. Old

Post-movie. Current Group. (Andy, Nile, Joe, Nicky) Mortal Andy. Character study.

Rated T (Teen and Up Audiences), 2903 words.

My first attempt at Andy-centric writing. Andy is a character I consider a challenge to write, and that makes me want to write her more. This fic centers mostly around her and the others trying to come to terms with how much has happened, within day to day life and taking the comfort that they can in one another.

I really like this fic. A lot. Sure it’s short. Sure maybe not much happens, but Andy’s character fascinates me, as does her relationship with her family.

So motherfucking old.

Someone is calling out to her, her hearing and senses long fine-tuned to knowing. It’s Nicky- she can easily pretend she can’t hear him, he knows when she doesn’t want to talk to anyone, after all.

She’s being petty, and she knows it’s unfair. That the nearly untouched plate and nights spent not sleeping gives them reason to be at her. But facing them with that fact feels about as ideal as jumping into a flaming volcano right about now. They’re just worried. It makes her stomach turn, sour and vicious. Venom in the gut, acid in the heart.

Said volcano would be kinder.

3. Spice it Up (Or Not)

Joe and Nicky. Pre-Movie. Fluffy Lovings

Rated: E (Explicit) 3030 words

This one was just fun. I am such a sucker for banting, and the most established of established relationships that Nicky and Joe have going on. This one is indeed not safe for work, and honestly, the opening paragraphs are what came first, and I actually had to build the story around it.

Something that I think makes this fic fun to me as well is that, just because something that sounded like a good idea fails, it doesn’t make it an ending. Healthy communication, knowing each other..it’s so blissful to think about.

Things aren’t always perfect, but that’s okay. And it’s not always a threat. Oh and because this is me, what was supposed to be fairly light hearted gets all sappy and reflective mid-way.

Excerpt:

He knows Nicky in every way. He knows his scent from battle, from sex, from showers and from sleep. He knows his eyes in darkness, in light, in dread, excitement and worry. He knows his grief, his love, his sadness, and adoration. Excitement, passion, fear, and pain.

He could count each tear that Nicky has shed, could recall each tone of his voice in every language they know. From the first he heard to the current. The sweet harmony of song and the rough gasp of drunk intoxication. He’s heard him yell, heard him scream. Heard his shouts and his cries.

He knows how Nicky tends to favour his left shoulder even though there’s no reason beyond psychological to do so. A spot Joe stabbed so long ago. So far back in another life. He knows how he likes to pause and do surveillance before they enter any new location. Knows he likes vehicles that move fast and has a fondness for roller coasters.

He’s seen those hands, so large and skilled break bone, wield a sword and cut vegetables and fruit. Seen them card through his hair, felt them map out each knot and ridge in his spine and ribs, felt them so deep inside himself he can taste it. Rolling into it. Demanding, needing.

“Yusuf.” Nicky’s not calling him back, Nicky’s just as far gone. So often they seem to share thoughts.

Nicky knows Joe in all ways and more. Knows that Joe still sometimes seems to speak ancient by-gone languages in his sleep. Knows that he tends to carry the strongest personal scent in the dead of night. That no shower, no soap, no life experience or battle has truly ever masked the delightful musk he has to himself. There could be a cologne out there that would modify it, and Nicky would bite and lick it away. Demanding and asking, why take this from me? How dare you try to alter what I know and love so furiously?

4. Touch Before Heart

Historical Kaysanova. Early Years. Pre-Movie. Getting to Know Eachother.

As is pretty obvious by now, I write a LOT of early years Kaysanova. A lot. I am addicted to it.

This one..I love it. This might be one of my favourite pieces of writing of all time. If I was doing these numbers strictly in order preference, then I’d put it as number one I bet.

I think the summary I made for it sums up well just how much I love it. And maybe why.

The first moment they’re able to have a bath, they resolutely do not look at each other. Picking opposite ends of the small stream bed, backs turned to one another. A strange show of both trust and distrust; their backs were exposed, but it was up to their tentative mutual agreement to not partake in the opportunity to stab each other for it.

The..idea that they had so much to learn, so much to understand. So much confusion, anger mistrust..I just really really adore this fic and I think I did a good job with it.

Excerpt:

He curses in unison with Nicolò, both holding fast and steady as the thing finally rights itself, Nicolò letting out a slow, shaken breath of relief.

“Are you alright?” Yusuf asks, both to break the silence and mend the irritating gap they’ve created for themselves.

“Better. Thank you.”

Yusuf wants to scream.

He wants to grab Nicolò, shake him until he can do nothing but give him answers.

Why do you drive me to the brink of madness?

Why do I know your touch, but not your heart?

Why do you tempt me, consume me?

What does it mean?

Why are we here?

Why!?

It is an unfair desire; he’s hardly given the man any more clarity.

5. Curated

Alright, I admit it, I had trouble picking number five. I picked Curated because it’s just..so fluffy. But it’s so sweet I always feel so sugary when I think of it. The softness that I tried to convey, and I think I succeeded.

Nile is another character that fascinates me, that I just do not explore enough, and this is all the comforting goodness I could ever hope to create.

Excerpt:

She’s grown used to the easy intimacy they all share, but the sight before her, Nicky’s eyes half-lidded, face a perfect serenity she rarely see’s on it, Joe lost, far-away in reciting but still wholly present, creates an odd, near-throbbing ache in her chest. Something powerful and raw. It’s hard to imagine that people who have been alive this long can be this content.

Everything they’ve seen, experienced and done. All the stories they’ve regaled her with. All the prep, the anxieties, the concerns, and curiosities. None of it seems to exist in these moments. Joe speaking in a language the world might think dead, the true master of softness within the room.

And there we have it! I have so much more I want to write, I have so much more I want to explore, and I thank you all for sharing in these journey’s with me. May there be more writing in our future!

RULES UPDATE! Mostly just some rewording, but a couple of things have been added here and there as well. I will be putting this on the rules page, but I’m posting it here first.

Feel free to like or reply to this post if you read them, but it’s not required!

Under the cut ‘cause y’know, long post.

ILLEGAL THINGS ON THIS BLOG:

1. This blog is PG-13, meaning that NSFW is an absolute no and I would prefer swearing to be kept to a minimum in interactions directed at me. If you have either of these things on your blog that's fine, just please make sure NSFW is tagged properly.

As for swearing, I won't make you tag it (I have the words themselves blocked in most cases) but I would prefer that you refrain from heavy swearing when you're talking to me directly. This goes for OOC interactions and IC ones.

Both of these rules are for my comfort, plus I'm currently a minor as of 4/5/2020, and so is Varian in most if not all verses.

2. I'm currently not open to romantic shipping. I'm not neccesarily against shipping, but I'd rather not get caught up in some of the drama that goes along with it. There's certain ships and types of ships I'm not comfortable doing, so I've chosen not to do any at all.

This may or may not change in the future, but if I open myself up to shipping with Varian it will be slow and I'll want to come to you first.

However, one thing I will never budge on is that I do not ship Varian with Cassandra or Rapunzel. Both of them are far too old for him. I do believe he had a one-sided puppy love crush on Cass in season one, which will remain in my portrayal, but that's as far as I'll ever take it. Otherwise, it's just not happening.

3. Hate, drama, or rudeness is absolutely a no-no for me. Directed towards me or anybody else. If you're the type of person to send hate to anyone, or to be rude to anyone, this is not the blog for you. I won't tolerate that at all.

I ask that you not rush me for responses. I do my best, but my muse can be very finicky at times and as a result things may sit in my drafts for awhile before I can respond to them. When I have high muse, I'll usually reply the same day, but if I'm dealing with writer's block it could even take me up to a month in certain cases.

Now, I will say that you're free to ask me if it's been over two weeks, because sometimes I will drop things as well. I'll let you know if I've dropped our thread, just make sure you're being nice about it when you ask.

4. Please don't reblog my threads if you're not the person I'm roleplaying with, and don't like my starter calls if you're a personal. This is mostly just to keep things clean on the blog and in my notifs, and while I'm personally not terribly disturbed by it, most people don't want their roleplays spread all over the website outside of the RPC.

5. Normal roleplaying rules apply- don't godmod, powerplay, etc etc. Generally don't try and control my character for me (small things such as assuming mine follows yours are okay, as well as establishing the situation in starters) and please ask before you kill him.

(spoiler alert: nine times out of ten i'll say yes 'cause i'm an angst fiend, but i'd still prefer you to ask first!)

THINGS I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO DO:

These aren't really requirements, but rather suggestions.

1. I'd appreciate it if you'd cut your posts, and turn asks into new posts rather than reblogging them directly. This is just to keep my blog and dash clean. If you don't do these things for whatever reason, then I'll do it for you in our threads! But I do encourage you to do this.

2. I'd also highly reccomend you have some knowledge of Tangled the Series before following me. This doesn't neccesarily mean you have to watch it (although it's a great show and you totally should) but I would prefer you to know enough not to be totally lost when we try to RP. This is both for my sake and your own.

3. Read all of my about pages. Both my verses page and headcanons / relationships pages have some important information on them, and I would appreciate it if you would check them out. Obviously the rules as well, but you're already reading those!

WHO I'LL INTERACT WITH:

I consider this blog to be selective, mostly with crossovers and OCs. I am especially picky with fandoms I'm not in / familar with and OCs. Not to say I won't RP with them, but if I can't figure out how our characters might interact, I won't follow back.

THAT BEING SAID, I'm still not mutuals only. I may not follow you back right away, but we can still totally try out roleplaying with eachother. If it works out, I'll go ahead and follow you, and if not this may not be the right blog for you.

I also will not do threads with personals. You're always free to send me asks and such, but long lasting interactions are limited to roleplay blogs only. Please let me know if your RP blog is a sideblog, otherwise I will assume you're just a personal.

Also, on my end, I don't send in passwords. I have social anxiety and it makes me nervous. But rest assured I always read people's rules before I follow or follow back! I may even ask you for your rules if I can't find them, in IMs if you followed me first or in your asks on anon if I'm following first.

BLOG CONTENT AND TAGGING:

Okay so, one thing you should definitely know before following me: I'm an angst fiend. I always have been, always will be. Varian also tends to be a heavy character in general due to the things that happened to him over the course of the series.

I personally don't have any triggers, and will write things such as death and violence, and occasionally suicide / self harm IF my rp partner is comfortable with it and it makes sense to happen in the thread. However this is very rare and will ALWAYS be tagged.

I tag every common trigger with the 'tw: (trigger here)' format. If you need something specific tagged that I'm not tagging already, you're free to let me know! You're also free to let me know if I forget to tag something and don't fix it.

I'm only human, and things like that do happen sometimes.

While I personally don't have any direct triggers, there are a few things I'd like you to tag for my own comfort. These are:

NSFW, visual gore, politics, negativity / venting, drama, and discussions of serious irl diseases and conditions.

The only one of these that I will unfollow you for if it's untagged is NSFW. The rest I'll tolerate as long as it's not extremely frequent.

The only thing here that's close to a trigger is the last one. I suffer from hypochondria / health anxiety and occasionally discussions like that can cause it to flare up, but usually only if I'm already worrying about the thing that's being discussed.

So, a friend of mine basically forced me to watch at least one episode of Netflix Castlevania.

(Disc - I am new to tumblr and had a little problems with posting this thing correctly. Sorry for spam)

So I watched one. And then another. And another… When I finished it was 3 a.m., my eyes were burned out, my brain fried, and my soul forever forfeited, but whatever, who need it anyway.

I am new to the universe, and I know that I am something like 10 months late to the review party, so instead I decided to just share a bunch of thoughts of mine. [UPDATE – Because I am extremely heavy procrastinator and it took me almost two weeks to write this thing I am already at 50% of SoTN right now I’ve finished SoTN by now]

First of all – Castlevania looks like anime, but shares almost nothing common with it. It was a relief, to be honest, as I was a little afraid of show being just another shounen with specific set of clichés and similarities that might quite not bad (or even enjoyable), but I’ve seen them too many times before – better or worse executed – to watch without a mild nausea another Bleach/Naruto in a darker scenario.

I would never demand a fantasy world to be realistic. Like, who would do, fantasy world is supposed to be… fantasy, right? I am fine with lack of realism but I can’t say the same about lack of common sense, and there is a matter of logic that I personally find quite funny. When you are about to fight in close quarters with someone, with both of you lives on stake you’ll want to use every possible advantage. In general there are two kinds of battle armors – first one is focused on providing maximum protection (like typical medieval plate armor) and second one designed to grant freedom of movement especially critical in usually legwork-heavy duels. And here are our “battle” priests in gowns. Gowns, that manage to provide neither aforementioned advantage and downsides of both. Heh. It just bothers me too much, honestly.

I really love the flow of narration; the way that every character including antagonists has its own set of motives and reasons, even Carmilla has her own background that is convicting to justify her bitchery (Well, she has seen it before, right? And Dracula wasn’t even trying to hide his apathy, so why would she like to watch as dead man wages his hollow war)(Is it only me or Dracula shows typical signs of severe depression? Apathy, lack of strength to take any decision, not taking care of himself, loss of interest – even in his own war – well, to be honest he has a good reason to do so).

Animations. Ah, that one is unquestionably excellent, although you Powerhouse Animation guys could have make use of an additional 4-5 fps – from time to time I had a feeling that there is a cat sitting on my keyboard’s space bar, pausing and starting show over and over - it happened something like two or three times. If it comes to favorite scenes – for me, it would be first meeting and fight between Trevor and Alucard. The dialogue and music is so good at reflecting rising pressure and tension between those two – let put oneself in Trevor’s boots – just day before he was rather concerned about getting some food/drink and move on and now he is standing against something that he now considers to be last boss of his life, or perhaps not, he doesn’t even know how does Dracula looks like and he doesn’t seem to be openly aggressive, or perhaps yes, he is obviously vampire and he seems to doesn’t like Belmont name, on the other hand even lesser vampire might be not so easy foe and he is kinda out of practice, and Sypha doesn’t feel like helping out, at least for now… It is all just perfect, and the sound track alone is stuff of legends. (Season 2 OST on Spotify WHEN??”)

Second best would be first phase of Dracula fight – the way which they are team working fluently to not let eachother get killed pleases my inner maniac in best possible way, although the 1 vs 1 part is kinda downgrade - but still ok.

But there is one thing that really stands out in best possible way from things I’ve seen before and that’s utilization of facial expression and body language. Like seriously, this combined with really outstanding voice acting bring interactions between characters to another damned level. (Unfortunately, national translation and voice acting is so awful that I couldn’t bear myself to finish even first season). There are few thing I consider more important in creating credible character than combining overall expressiveness and voice acting, the ability to tell words without actually using any (Finding Ciri cinematic in Witcher 3 is perhaps best known to me example) - and Castlevania does it just soooo good.

Dracula generals. When they were shown for the first time I was like “oh boy he has summoned generals, (Generals! Master tactician, the artists of war!) the oldest, most cunning and powerful beasts from entire world, now things are going to get rough.” And how did it turned out? I can understand that Dracula tasked his forge masters with overseeing the war (Although his reasoning was kind of ok, good job Dracula for nominating for executives two people, that knew least about proceeding war) Did they were incompetent so much? Then how did they managed to get their titles, if they were just a bunch of endlessly whining mischief-makers? They were supposed to know how war looks like, and how to do one, but instead they did literally nothing for war effort! If you ask me, that is at least one risen eyebrow. Excluding Godbrand, the only member of council that did anything more than grate his teeth in silent anger, killed some civilians and got taken care of quite effortlessly. Also, Godbrand wasn’t made to be the sharpest knife in a closet, but he still was bright enough to ask himself “What will we do when we’ll win a war?” Also, he managed to notice that there were no real plan to follow... That is +1 to you Godbrand, I’ll miss you my vikingy boi. In the end, if they were meant to be just a background, they did get a little too much of screen time, and if they were not, they got faaaaaar from enough of it.

By the way – not sure if it’s only me but I personally think that Trevor might be keenest (or – at least – not dumbest) of protagonist trio. He might lack classic education, but he is careful watcher (he noticed fresh oil in torch and overall state of Alucard’s hideout), he correctly chosen and quite successfully executed strategy at Gresit square (isolate, divide and destroy) and quite steadfastly shrugged off Alucard bickering (well, most of times). Also, his plan for battle with vampire generals was quite logical – avoid close quarter cause humans are in general more fragile than vampires, and Alucard as frontline. My inner maniac was most pleased.

As I said before, I really enjoy Castlevania’s overall character design but with an exception of bishop of Gresit. There is no reason for his work, I know that he is insane and reasoning usually does not apply to those like him but I feel like there is no reason in villainy (this entire talking about making a God’s own country – well, I don’t buy it), aside of being genuinely baaaaad, which kinda stands out in negative way in comparison to the rest of characters.

To highlight the issue, lets do some roleplaying here:

The night creatures are ravaging the land that you had sworn to protect in unholy war against humanity, killing women, men even your subordinates alike. The citizens are growing restless, and demand taking an action. How do you proceed?

a) Find the last descendant of family known for their prowess in fighting those beasts; but be wary – he doesn’t seem to like you very much after you branded him as heretic, exterminated his entire family and burned down his home (probably with some of aforementioned family still inside it). However, if you nicely ask for help, reverse the curse, apology for making mistake and return the estate it actually might work. (to be honest that could be quite interesting moral choice for Trevor, to help people of Wallachia and let bishop take all glory or decline the bishop proposition and screw people over in the process)

b) You can fight them, you are the Holy Church after all. You have access to unlimited supply of holy water, relics, you have enough money and authority to arm and train people’s militia properly. Your knowledge of those beasts might be as wide as Belmont family, but at least should be sufficient to minimalize the damage. Killing the Dracula, however, might be impossible for you.

c) You spent most of your time on biting, trashing, or looking for anyone to cast entire blame upon; it doesn’t matter who is that poor bastard as long as it is not you. In addition, you…

AAAAARGH I CAN’T CONTAIN MYSELF ANY LONGER! BROTHER, I DON’T FEEL LIKE I AM WICKED ENOUGH! I REQUIRE TO SEE SOME SUFFERING OF INNOCENT TO FEAST UPON! WHAT DO YOU SAY, BROTHER? I CANT HEAR YOU OVER RAGE BOILING IN MY VEINS! WHAT, SPEAKERS? OF COURSE THEY WILL DO RAAAAAARRGARGAJGIOGJIHKBYIUOL

Oh well.

My 3.. “Christian” beans, xDD

First - Myron (Also he’s not wearing shorts, I swear to whatever god is out there, xDDDD)

Second - Vritra

Third - Nyven

They’re apart of this roleplay I’m making called mindset. These 3 would be considered the “antagonists”, let me explain, owo

Mindset takes place in a heavily Christian private school, usually I hate school roleplays because, they’re a good idea at first then the idea falls because.. School isn’t exactly an interesting place, but I’m trying really hard to make this one interesting.

Any “athiests” found in the school will be taken to the basement of the school. Where, they may die immediately, Or be taken to the judgement arrangement room, where they’re put into classes with the teachers being Nyven, Myron, And Vritra. (Though, vritra doesn’t show up until really really late into the roleplay)

Once they’re put into classes, it would be announced by Myron and Nyven that the last 3 out of 20 students get to leave unharmed, but a student will be killed off each week, if nobody dies on there own, henceforth, the students will have to kill eachother so nobody else dies, bUuUUt, that isn’t just it, >:3 If they are caught killing another student, a class trial is held to decide if they are guilty or not guilty.

The classes themself are basically hell, Well.. A very diluted version of it, xDD

3 students would be chosen every class for the “activity”, and by that, I mean possibly tortured. I’m getting there, Okay? I’ve only been working on this idea for 2 days off and on, xDDD

I have to put 20 characters in here, Not including the 3 “priests”. Aka Vritra, Nyven, and Myron-

Myron - A superficial, verbally abusive bean, he rarely acts kind to people, Not even Nyven, he’s iconic for being the loudest and strongest of the 3, Truthfully he was saddened to see his “little sister” put in the basement, but he probably wouldn’t hesitate to kill her.

Myron: Hmph, All I wanted to do was help. How rude of you.. I can’t believe you.

Myron: Get off of me, you dumb bitch, I aint’ your “big brother”, Aromara. Let alone, friend, Leave me alone, I’m busy. (Aromara: bRotHer tHiS iS bEtRaYaL ;O;)

Nyven - A sort of.. Biopolar bean, one second he’s acting all shy and shit and the next he’s stabbing your eye out, Tsuyoshi learned that the hard way. Also may have a few yandere tendencies and very sadistic but we don’t talk about that, xDDD

Shiro - An awkward boio, He’s a hint of stoic with extra truth. Tbh I’m excited for this boio, xDD

Strawberry (gonna be changed) - He’s pretty chill, flirty at times, but probably gonna handle all of the murders the easiest.

Lucy - Obsessed with the idea “perfect”, henceforth why she ends up hanging around Rowan a lot (who is far from perfect because she’s such a bitch, but eh, xDD) And she’s pretty insecure of her own body, sadly. Love this bean, tho, xDD

Yuri - ..I honestly have no idea how to describe her, I know that here, she’s probably gonna be one of the first to go, she seems like she would break really easily under pressure, Poor Yuri, xDDDD

*..forgot the name - This is Yuri’s brother, he’s really fukn chill and harmonicas his sadness away, he’s probably gonna handle everything okay-ish until Yuri dies, which is sad, but hey! Most of the characters are gonna die anyway. xDDDD

Prompt #7

I want to do an apocalypse like setting with these three characters that I have. They're in a relationship with eachother, and have stopped at one of those middle of nowhere towns that just kind of exist?? Probably the only sign that the apocalypse hit being that theres no one around anymore and shit.

The first character is Amara. She's probably the most dangerous of the three, and is the type to shoot a bitch without hesitation. She has a soft spot for her partners and children, but other than that is willing to crack someone over the head and leave them to die. She isn't described in roleplay, but she's about 5'10, with long braided black hair and tanned skin. She has brown eyes.

Ko is the second character, and he is described in prompt. He's like the least dangerous of the three. He LOOKS threatening, but he doesn't know how to use like any weapons and basically acts as their doctor (Which, you know. He was studying to be one before everything went to hell land)

Asa (it's a nickname) is the final character. He uses a sword instead of a gun, which he defends on the basis of it being easier to kill zombies with. A lot more silent, and he normally isn't TRYING to hurt PEOPLE with it so it's all fine. That said, Amara is the one doing most of the fighting out of the three. He's the best smooth talker of the group though, and when it comes to dealing with people is most likely the one they'll turn to.

I imagine at this point in the roleplay, the apocalypse has been going on for about 3-4 or so years so far? Like, enough that the dust has startled to settle but still to the point where things are a bit panicked. These three have all been traveling together for about 6 months now, and Amara and Asa were traveling together for about a year before that. They do have an end goal to where they want to go, but your character will need to dig that out of them.

As for your character, they can be anyone! Someone that's been making this walmart their home and doesn't appreciate the people coming by? Someone who needs the medicine more than they do at the moment? Just someone on a supply run of their own?? Maybe someone younger then the bunch of them, and think's they're far tougher shit then they really are?? Possibilities are endless.

I'm willing to let this get Nsfw, but only if you and your character are 18+. But I do want this to be a slow burn kinda rp. If the plot takes us there, then it may happen. That said, you don't have to match this! I'm kind of cheating with the length by having like.. three characters. Just reply to your comfort, and I'll try and match! We'll be gucci.

Amara was not the type to trust easily.

It was just how it was in this bitch of a world. The more people you trusted, the more likely you were to get hurt. Or something obnoxiously sentimental like that. She'd learned that lesson time and time over, each and every time she'd placed herself in a group having been stabbed in the back. At one point /literally./ She knew better than to trust, knew better than to rely on others for her own safety.

...That said.

Even she had her soft spots. They were rare, and took time to grow. But they existed, and even she was willing to admit they were there. Her soft spots can in her two companions.

"Nah, nah you aint hearin' me out," Her first companion would laugh, somehow managing to walk backwards and bounce over every obstacle in his path. He was a small man, with a mohawk that had long ago begun to over grow (She'd need to talk Ko into cutting it for him. She'd offer to do it herself, but she'd always been a bit bad at that) bright blue eyes, and pale skin, "If we got horses instead of a car, we'd never have to worry about running out of gas. Maybe we'd have to worry about like.. Where we could store stuff. But we could totally go like-- You know those carts people would have on the back of their horses? Like.. The fuckin' Oregon trail games, that shit!"

"..Wagons?" She added, helpfully at that.

"Yeah! We could have wagons!! Could you 'magine tryin' ta shoot walkers in one of them badboys?" Asa raised his eyebrows, gaze more on the man next to her then herself. The man next to her- Ko. He was a sharp contrast to the sight of the other man. Tall, dark skin. Scars that seemed to dance and curl on his skin, and dreadlockes he'd managed to pull up in a style that she'd never be able to replicate behind him. He really was pretty, and whispers between herself and Asa had deemed that he probably couldn't hurt a fly if he'd wanted to.

Ko snorted, his arm moving around her waist. She could feel the hesitation in his motions, as if he was silently asking her "..Hey, is this alright to do?" To which she leaned in closer. Her own hand rubbing up and down his spine, fingers all but dancing on his skin. He was still so nervous about attention. And she really did understand, but.. She'd just sigh, allowing him a chance to ease himself into it.

Asa, on the other hand.. "You just want an excuse to have horses around," She reached over to smack his arm, needing to slip out of Ko's grip to do so. He stuck his tongue out at her in response.

"Fuck yeah I do. Horses are awesome," He shrugged

"Air conditioning," Ko said simply, as if that would debate all the point's that Asa was shooting out at them.

"We have generators! And fans!! It's basically the same thing!" It wasn't, and by the way Asa paused and deflated, he knew it wasn't as well, "Okay then. A farm. I want a farm. We gotta have a farm! I miss meat..."

She'd sigh, "If we can find horses, we'll consider- and I mean it when I say consider! taking them along," a stupid thing to agree to, but it at least got him to stop on it for a bit. And it did.

"Alright," She looked around the walmart. It was one of those kind of walmarts where she was sure that, back in the day when things were up and running it must have gone around and bought out every other grocery store in the middle of nowhere town, and had at the time had a balls out monopoly on the place. However, now that like 80% of America had succumbed to the disease that was zombiefication, it was just a flat out gold mine of possible things that they could find, "Ko, darling, can you go try and take care of food and medicine,"

"Mm.. what else would I be getting?" He tried to sound like he was complaining, but it sounded half assed and accepting of his roll among them.

"Know the most go get the most," She paused, "We can probably stop by the towns hospital before we leave if there's nothing left here, but mm.. Judging by the looks of this place, we'll probably be fine," She shrugged, sliding a cart her partner's way, "Asa, Can you go see if you can find batteries and lightbulbs and shit? And maybe bullets and other kinda weapons. You tend to be good at sniffing that kinda shit out."

He scoffed, "Good at sniffing them out? It's a talent doll!" He bounced in his spot, moving to grab a cart of his own, "I'll meet you in the medicine isle!" And just like that, he was off.

"Remember to pick up any seed packets you find! AND- Maybe. Another. Map.. He didn't hear me, alright..." She called out, before turning her attention to Ko again, "...I'm gonna go try finding us some entertainment. I don't know about you two, but I'm getting kind of bored with checkers and monopoly. Cards against humanity can stay, but it's on thin fucking ice," A groan of agreement was his acknowledgment, but it was one that hid amusement behind it's tone, "Be careful, yeah?"

"I'm the one you're telling that to?" He asked, eyebrow raised and a laugh on his voice. But as soon as he noticed the look she was giving him, he'd nod, ".. I will. I have my gun on me," He reassured, and for a second was okay with splitting up like this.

She'd taken her time strolling up and down the isles, occasionally picking shit off the shelves. There were a few boardgames she'd never heard of, some that she had heard of but had over played so much in her child hood that she'd just gotten board of them. And- Shit, was that pokemon?? She'd been looking for those games since this stupid apocalypse had begun. Should probably grab some nintendo's to go with it... She snatched what remained of the sorry game isle, popping the objects in her cart.

By the time she'd finished going through the isles, her cart had been at least half full, various hand held's and board games sloppily piled around her. Which wasn't a bad thing. It would, at the very least, give them something to do while they traveled. But they did only have so much room in their van. Hmm.. Maybe this would call for some reorganization in the back?

As promised, she'd made her way back to the medicine isle, flipping through the pages of one of the book's she'd picked up with a sort of half paying attention look to her, the other part of her trying to think of ways they could reorganize their van. While it WAS a pretty big van, it kept basically everything they owned in there. Maybe it was time to invest their time in trying to find a trailer and a truck?? Her smile twitched up as she even considered the idea of using the horses and carriages like Asa had suggested. She loved the guy, but god. They'd been doing pretty good at finding fuel so far, why would that be a worry now?

Besides, wouldn't they find SOMEWHERE safe before that became an issue?

Shaking her head, she rounded the corner she'd heard them talking from.. hell, the other end of the store, "I picked up some of these shitty smut novels. You know the kind. Oh Johnson take me /now!/ Kinda novel. And, like, How do you guys feel about DnD? I use to GM for my group before- Uh..." Slowly. Carefully. She put the book back down into the cart (On top of a few of the notebooks she'd managed to find. Another score). The scene registered rather quickly in her head. A person, someone she didn't know. Knife in their hand, pointed at her partners. The person looked like a startled deer, like the hadn't expected her to pop around the corner. Asa had his sword out, placing himself between the person and Ko, but lord. Did she not like how close they were to the two of them.

Her stomach sank, and her body reacted before she fully registered the scene, and she found herself with a gun in her hand before she could tell them to move, "You," Her tone was calm, but the kind of calm that held nothing but a storm behind it, "Need to lower your knife, and step away from the both of them. I will not hesitate to shoot you, and take everything you currently own."

If I haven't left a reply after a week, but you see I'm still replying other stuff nor I'm on Hiatus, please let me know I haven't. Zero anon hate. Yeah, I know many of you think this rule is silly, but there's people who doesn't respect it at all. About Gore, spooky stuff, and Smut: I do the three of them and I like to read them as much as to write them. But to avoid any issues, I ALWAYS am going to use the tags {gxrden of ultraviolence}, {gxrden of nightmares}, and {gxrden of pleasure}. That way you can block those tags and have a nice day without ugly nor sexy stuff. All the spooky stuff I usually tend to write it without images, but in the weird case I decide to put any spooky pics, I would put it under Read More. In any case you see I have a post about this things untagged or without the Read More thingy, you're free to ask me nicely to tag it or activate the Read More, because I'd probably forgot, or Tumblr broke something again.

Clarifying: all tags and Read More is going to be applied with my criteria of what I consider violent or nsfw. Not yours. If a thread makes you uncomfortable you can let me know and I’ll put on it a special tag for you to block it, but I can’t be aware of everyone’s triggers and also keep my partners happy. The best I can do is offering you a special tag.

My followback is just and exclusively because I assume that if you follow me it is because you have the intention of roleplay with me, or at least of send me stuff to my ask. I'm not gonna tolerate people using me as meme blog without sending me anything ever, nor I'm going to tolerate people who follows me just to ignore me every time une of us does an open thread. I'd rather have 4 followers, play with 3, and receive only asks from one, than have 100 and play with 4. I strongly dislike ghost followers.

I reserve for myself the right of giving my followback (or not). I just give my followback to accounts that catch my attention, don’t take it personal if I don’t follow you, it’s probably that your blog it’s hard to read, your narrative is confuse, or the characters too OOC for my taste and standards, or I just don’t see anything interesting for me. That doesn’t mean under any circumstances that your blog is bad or you suck at roleplay, that just means I don’t see anything accord for my tastes.

My Followback also can be lost if I see that a month has passed since we followed eachother (being me or not the first on following), if I have sent you asks, gave my like to Starter Calls, etc, and you have been uncapable of reply anything, I will stop following you because I will assume there is no interest. I don’t block anyone, so we can talk about it and discuss if you see I don’t follow you anymore, as long as we speak with mutual respect and understanding. I’m a really pragmatic and kind person, usually, but I tend to react very badly to disrespectful people because my patience to wait for threads is very big, but to speak with brats is less than zero, if that can exist. This is just for ex mutuals. Blogs I’ve never followed can talk to me and I could give them my reasons, just if I feel like it. As well as I feel like nobody owns me explanations, I don’t own any explanations to anyone for the decisions I make.

I reply through my phone, so I can’t use Read More feature and there’s stuff that’s really complicated for me such as moving asks to a new thread. I will put under Read More or reply asks at new threads only if your rules specify it, but that means I’m going to take a lot more of time because I don’t have a computer for myself only. That being said, if you want to move one of my asks to a new thread, you don’t need to ask me, do it without problems if it’s easier for you that way.

My muses are Multiship and Multiverse. If you wish me to have an exclusive ship or an specific AU with you, just let me know. I’m pretty easygoing with that issue so it’s really rare if I say no to something (with the exceptions I said before).

About asks of any kind, included anons: if you don’t specify a muse without even context of a fandom, I’ll choose anyone randomly, and that always include my OCs. I do love my OCs and I love wrinting about them, and I’m not going to hold them back just cause. If you want a specific muse or certain specific interaction, at least give me a situational context to whom you would refer to; for example if there’s a thread where muse X kisses muse Y in a hallway, you can send an ask saying “I know where you kissed Y” and I’ll know a bit more clearly who are you refering to.

My blog is openly crossover, AU, and OC friendly. So I don’t need both muses to share fandoms to roleplay, nor I care if you want to throw me one of your OC to reply something, just leave me a message at the tags giving me their principal characteristics and that’ll be enough, if you send me via IM their profile, even better. I love well made OCs and I like to receive them with love. That also means I do OC x Canon relationships, but I need first to know everything about your character, and make a few tests in some threads to see if they have enough chemistry; and if you want any of my OCs to your canon, I’ll do the same.

You can choose if you play with just one of my muses exclusively, or if you play with all of them, but you must notify first. If you don’t, I’ll send you asks to interact with other characters if I think we can make something interesting, so if you do want to interact with only one of my muses, or just with the ones at an specific fandom, you have to let me know.

I have a lot of patience, so don’t mind if you take your time. I tend to reply really fast unless I have no free time or I feel badly. So as I respect you to taking a long time, I hope to receive the same respect for me and my fast replies most of the time or taking a lot depending of my situation.

"Licht on the Server, EAlex goes irl, Slenders Reunited”

-There's the jangling of keys as Licht fumbles at the door, finally opening it and stepping inside. She tosses her coat onto a nearby chair and wobbles a little. She's obviously been drinking a little as she makes her way into her room-

[EAlex] looks out of the computer screen- Licht? Are you injured??

[Licht] - No no, I'm fine, just had a biiiiit too much to drink

[EAlex] Why does imbibing liquid make you walk like that?

[Licht] - Because alcohol

[EAlex] Does it have a poison effect?

[Licht] - I suppose you could say that

[EAlex] I'm sorry. That's awful. Would you like me to mess up the computer of whoever poisoned you? I bet I can knock the wi-fi off a phone pretty easily.

[Licht] - I willingly drank it, we were celebrating

[EAlex] Stares at her for a moment. - No offense, but humans are strange and inexplicable.

[Licht] - I don't do it often, but an officer who was a great mentor to me retired today so we gave him a farewell party

[EAlex] Did I miss anything? I mean, I'm not complaining. Just curious.

[Licht] - Sure, why not

[EAlex] Shoves against the flat picture on the desktop and brings up the control panel and then the wallpaper. She scrolls a little and changes it to a stock photo of a very pretty empty beach with clear blue water. She shoves against it with her back to Lich and kind of falls through a small barrier and onto the sand at a larger size that fits the photo before kicking around in the shallow water like she's there. - Neat huh?

[Licht] - Lucky, you get to take a vacation whenever you want

[EAlex] Kinda. I can't go any farther then what's visible. It's like an invisible wall on the sides you can't see from there. And you can always visit me with a little help.

[Licht] - I'm well aware of that- She heads over to her closet to change into some more comfortable clothes before sitting down in front of the computer and moving the mouse to hover over a familiar icon-

[EAlex] Watching the mouse, almost afraid to say something that might make her change her mind.

[Licht] Sighs and clicks on it, pulling up Minecraft- Little too drunk to do much else

[EAlex] Awww. I'm happy anyway. I want to show you my build! - She scoots over to the loading window and hops in-

[Licht] - Alright, just let everything load first

[EAlex] From the computer in general - I have another suprise for you too once you get in!

[Licht] Clicks on the world and waits for the terrain to download- Alright, I'm in

[EAlex] Has set her to third person- Suprise! I made you a skin! - It looks like a decent likeness of Licht in some of her [non work] ordinary clothes.

[Licht] - Well it's certainly better than anything I could have done

[EAlex] Thanks! There's a website where you can recolor skins pixel by pixel. -She switches the view to first person again- The little dirt house is still there but there's a path stomped in the dirt with torches along it now leading away-

[Licht] - Alright then, lead the way

[EAlex] It'll take some of the fun out if it with you just using an avatar, but I'm too excited to wait! - They lead Licht down the path through some trees and a house comes into view. It's not huge but it is two stories and backed up to a strech of beach. The construction is mostly oak, glass, and some cobbles around the bottom.

[Licht] - A nice small house huh?

[EAlex] Well I'm in survival technically, so I did cut all the wood, mine the stone and cook the glass myself. - She opens the door for Licht- The entryway has a bit of white and gray carpet and a few scattered pictures and leads into a room with trunks and a couch made of wool blocks, a bit farther down is a kitchen area with a crafting table and furnaces-

[Licht] - Well at least you seem to have a well set up home to be safe in

[EAlex] Shy look- It's big enough for both of us if need be... But you should see the back too.- She leads outside the kitchen onto a nice porch. - I picked this spot for a reason besides the weather.

[Licht] Follows her out to see what the reason is-

[EAlex] She gestures down and there are sea turtles loafing on the shore. - There's a sea temple out there too, but I'm not tackling guardians until I'm better equipted.

[Licht] - Turtles? I wasn't aware those were in the game

[EAlex] They're new, I updated this seed myself! You should go swimming with me. It's safe near the shore and there's tons of new tropical fish, kelp and corals.

[Licht] - Is this why you changed my background to a beach?

[EAlex] Nah, that was just good to demonstrate with since I could kick up the water. It is a pretty photo though.

[Licht] - I see. You're sure it's safe near the shore?

[EAlex] Yeah. There's a few Drowned zombies but they move slow. We can just avoid them.

[Licht] - Alright, if you wanna go swimming then we can go swimming. Should I empty the boxes at the bottom of my screen first?

[EAlex] Nah. It's just stuff you're carrying. Just watch your bubbles. If you go to the top they'll fill up again just like taking a breath.

[Licht] - Got it, shall we?

[EAlex] Great- she wades into the water and the turtles turn to watch them curiously-

[Licht] Follows and watches some of the fish in the water-

[EAlex] Is enjoying herself immensely and shows Licht a partial wrecked ship buried in the sand and a bit of run that looks like it should be in a fishtank. Just some broken arches. and a bit of floor. The water is clear and blue, and judging by EAlex's smile, plesantly warm.

[Licht] Ducks under the water for a bit and then comes back up- Hey, where are the bubbles you said I should be seeing?

[EAlex] There aren't any bubbles on your bar? Wait... is there not a row of drumsticks either?

[Licht] - No?

[EAlex] Oh! You're still in creative! Then swim as deep as you want. The mobs won't bother you and you can't drown. There's some lovely coral below us.

[Licht] - Are you sure? I don't want to leave you alone if you don't want to be left alone

[EAlex] I'll be okay. I'll stay just above you.

[Licht] - Alright- She sinks under the waves to go look at the coral

-There's tons of it in many colors and lots of curious little fish, as she gets close a pufferfish plumps in suprise and makes a rather amusing noise. -

[Ealex] Chuckles- They're so silly-

-There's a veritable forest of waving kelp and a Drowned zombie turns to look but not pursue her. It also makes weird noises-

[Licht] - Well, you can't deny that the Mojang staff put their heart and soul into this game...

[EAlex] Maybe that's why my kind arise here... it's a beautiful waiting world big enough for us all to be born into.

[Licht] - And yet from what I've seen your kind still gets persecuted

[EAlex] Brushes a gentle hand against a clownfish as it passes- Some of us... aren't nice. Maybe it's a side effect of being too powerful. They become bored gods tormenting players. Not everyone appreciates the wilderness. And... not every NOTCH allows a peaceful existence.

[Licht] - You know, I'm sure the sanctuary might have some answers for us...

[EAlex] You have questions of your own?

[Licht] - There are things I still don't understand, and I know there are things you want to learn and possibly have done to you

[EAlex] I'm still considering it... - she swims closer- I wouldn't mind being able to... make contact with you again. If it doesn't make you uncomfortable.

[Licht] - No it doesn't, I'd just like a little more warning before you suddenly go grabbing me

[EAlex] Okay. I was just a bit over-whelmed. You did save me after all.

[Licht] - And we do kinda owe them since we dropped that... Thing, practically onto their doorstep

[EAlex] I didn't see it, but I gleaned it was pretty horrifying. I'm not ashamed to admit there's plenty I don't know either.

[Licht] - Which is one reason I think you should be there, there's a lot you can learn there, especially about what you can possibly do and what your type are as a whole

[EAlex] Maybe... but I rather like having my own space too. You're... you're not trying to get rid of me.. are you?

[Licht] - No, not at all

[EAlex] I think I need to learn how to, 'seed hop' they called it? Then I can just visit when I need too.

[Licht] - Once you learn that you probably wouldn't need the cord to get to my phone either

[EAlex] Yeah... well could you at least tap one of the beds in the house so it'll be your spawn point here?

[Licht] - Yeah, sure- She heads back towards the shore and the house- Are the beds upstairs?

[EAlex] Steps around a corner and runs her clothes through her inventory to dry them - Yes! Just go up the stairs.

[Licht] Heads upstairs-

-The staircase is small but the room it opens into is the entirity of the second floor. There are two beds near to eachother but not touching and a half round, glass window with a few yellow, and light green panes taking up most of one wall. The daylight outside paints the room in colorful squares. The floor has a bit of yellow carpet and there are trunks and a few pictures against the walls. EAlex has also put an old gold sword in an item frame like a modest trophy.

[Licht] Observes the entire room, quickly memorizing it's layout before selecting the bed which looked like it hadn't been slept in yet and laying down in it-

-There's a bit of a cluck and a chicken wanders out from behind a trunk -

[Licht] - … Why is there a chicken up here?

[EAlex] Peeks up the steps- Oh! That's the one Doc spawned in your room.

[Chicken] bok. - Lays egg-

[EAlex] Comes up to collect it. - They're useful to have around-

[Licht] - If you say so...

[EAlex] You don't like chickens? - she tosses the chicken some seeds and they erupt in a gale of floating hearts. - Can't make a cake without eggs.

[Licht] - I've never been very good around farm animals- Has a few flashbacks to petting zoo incidents

[EAlex] Oh... okay. - She digs for a few fence pieces and makes a small pen. - I'll keep them away from you then. I don't want them to wander outside anyway.

[Licht] - You know, if you want to visit the other server to learn how to seed hop, I don't have work tomorrow

[EAlex] Is obviously excited but doesn't want to show too much. - I'd like that.

[Licht] Yawns and looks at the time- It's getting late out here, I think I'll go to bed, do you want me to call Doc in the morning?

[EAlex] Yes please. Thank you for playing with me for a bit.

[Licht] - You're welcome, do you want me to leave the game running?

[EAlex] It's up to you. I can get in either way. It just closes the viewing window on your computer.

[Lie] Gets up and takes a picture of her sleeping baby and sends it- Not quite...

[Dofta] Oh my goodness!!! She's so tiny! But she's glitched?

[Lie] - The seed is reacting to her like she's a native brine, but her eyes aren't glowing. We think that might start happening when she starts being able to see something other than light and movement

[Lie] - Yes she's ours, and her name is Aether. Yster was actually just here and left the evening before she was born

[Lie] - Yes she missed it, and as far as I know it was like a normal human birth... Which I suppose on our end would be weird since we're digital- She notes Aether is starting to wake up and snaps another quick pic so Dofta can see her eyes

[Dofta] Can be heard using talk to text on her phone- She's so darling Lie!

[Licht] - I hope I'm not interrupting anything?

[Dofta] Oh! Um... - her eyes flip back between the two- I'm just on the phone with a friend.

Either direction it's painful. But it literally saved Markus's life.

[Doc] Nods- He went into cardiac arrest and Cp pulled him inside before he passed. It gave me a chance to heal him with the local methods. I think if he would have tried to go out again before completely going digital, he would have resumed his cardiac failure and instantly died.

[Licht] - I see, I suppose it's a good thing then that he's still alive

[Doc] And now he's a Notch for real too. His MC skin just became his real shape in the process. You see why it was a hassle for him to try and meet with you. And also why he just up and vanished for so long.

[EAlex] What do you mean he's a real NOTCH, does he have powers?

[Doc] Some. He can make a shield thing around himself and others, and he has a weird loud shout that can actually damage things, hearing and otherwise.

[Doc] Yep. I consider it his dad voice. Usually stops Cp in his tracks too.

[Doc] He does respect Markus. I mean, as much as he respects anyone. Markus has been there for him in any way he could, and even let Cp beat up and kill his avatar multiple times without even fighting back. He knew Cp was in pain and lashing out at all NOTCHs because of it.

[Licht] - I hope this was before he entered the server...

[Doc] Yeah, it was.

[LJ] And there was his little brother...

[Doc] nods- That too. His little brother got a bad potion that turned him back into a child. Markus pretended to be their dad and helped take care of Stevie until he was cured of the effects. It really brought them all together. Cp had been estranged from Stevie for a very long time.

[Yaunfen] Most brines come with a Steve!

[Doc] Yep. In Cp's case his Steve is his younger brother. He's a decent guy. Took him a very long time to settle in, he has trust issues and Cp does give him shit now and again.

[Licht] - That's not exactly uncommon amongst siblings...

[Doc] Exactly. But most of us came here with someone. A new seed has a very high chance of spawning a self-aware Steve, a smaller chance of getting an Alex too - Gestures at EAlex- and then an even smaller chance, just a sliver, of generating a Herobrine glitch. And if that happens, then the system counters with an automatically generated AI NOTCH to keep an eye on the brine so they don't do so much griefing that the players get driven off.

[Licht] - Sounds complicated

[EAlex] So like the little one that gave us these? - holds up the flowers-

[Doc] Yeah that's CN, he's a good kid. My NOTCH is decent too.

[Yaunfen] That's Buff. He's got huge muscles.

[Licht] - What happens if either the brine or the NOTCH dies?

[Doc] hesitates, remembering... - If the NOTCH dies, the system generates a new one. If the Herobrine dies... we don't know. Thankfully none of our Herobrines have died. I keep the server set to infinite respawn here to protect everyone.

[EAlex] Makes a grim face. -If you set a seed to hardcore, if the player dies, the seed deletes itself.

[Doc] Thankfully server space is cheap, and I've got lots of backups too. Keeps my family safe.

Hi there, shouldn't there be some kind of restrictions when it comes to making new apps. Like if a player continuously makes copies of their character but only with a different fc and no variation/layers at all. Quality control on apps is not bad. Personally I think it's a waste of fc. I also love the admin team but I think what's best for the rp is to do things that would make it better, not cater everyone's wants. You don't have to answer this via main, I just want a point across. Thank you.

Hi there Anon, I'd like to address the concern you raise here on the main, so that everyone knows where we stand on this, typically if you send an ask on anon (unless it's under a very special circumstance) we're going to answer it, and I'd like to do this in a bullet-point fashion so I can make sure all of your concerns are addressed :)

1. If you have concern with a particular player and/or app, please come to us OFF anon and talk to us about it so we can hear what specifically you're concerned with and try to resolve the issue, unfortunately, making blanket statements very rarely allows us to do anything, because we as admins are left to guess exactly what or who you're complaining about

2. Krov's is a very open environment, and though we definitely want to make the RP fresh and diverse and have a large range of charectors, our TOP priority is being open to ALL players, of all writing styles and experiences- from first-timer RPers to people who have been RPing for twenty years- and ALL charector types, no matter how unique or non-unique they are, instituting "quality control" is NOT going to project the environment we want at Krov's- an environment that is open for EVERYONE to join, and for EVERYONE to participate in regardless of skill level, and sometimes players- especially players who are newer to roleplay- have a tendency to create charectors with similarities to eachother, and/or fill out apps with similar information, sometimes it's just a matter of what the player is comfortable with, for example, I myself have the exact same anti-kinks for all of my boys, and mostly the same kinks, because it's what I, as the player, am most comfortable with, I can gurantee you with certainty that no two charectors are going to have the exact same experiences and the exact same relationships no matter how alike they as charectors are to eachother, that's the beauty of roleplaying! You could have two charectors with virtually the same personalities, kinks, roles, etc, and still end up having WILDLY different stories and relationships based on who they each connect to and HOW and when they connect

3. Unless you can point me towards two apps that are word-for-word matches to eachother, what one person considers to be "the same" or varied/layered can be WILDLY different from what another person considers "the same" or varied/layered, what's considered unique can be very, very subjective, and even if all of the admins got together and voted on each app (wich, from an admin POV, is BEYOND time consuming and difficult to organize) I'm still 100% sure that what we consider to be a good enough variation will be different from what some members consider to be a good variation (proof of that being this message it's self, we haven't seen any problems with having charectors that are too similar to eachother, but you clearly disagree) and that's bound to start up OOC drama that we don't want in our group

4. I, personally, have been roleplaying for several years now, and I've seen quite a few opinions on what some people consider to be "wasting" an FC, for example, I've seen people saying that tough/masculine FCs being RP'd with soft, shy, personalities is a "waste" of their FCs, there is no such thing as a "waste of an FC", people are ABSOLUTELY free to roleplay an FC however they want, and it's never a waste

5. Our goal is ALWAYS to do what's best for the RP and not cater to anyone's wants, wich is why we will NOT be instituting "quality control", as that would cause the environment of the RP to fundamentally change, bring a new reason for OOC drama, make it more difficult on the admin team, and detour potential new members from joining- and current players from applying for more charectors, I cannot TELL you how many RPs I've decided not to join because they have "quality control" rules, what's best for our group is to make sure that everyone is encouraged to be here, and is comfortable being here, no matter their writing levels or app-making skills (as, believe it or not, some people who send in so-so or "boring" apps can actually write really, really well when they RP, bios can be hard sometimes) and considering that this is the first time anyone has ever brought a concern like this to us, I feel pretty safe in saying that the majority of players don't have a problem with the apps we accept :)

The primary goal of our RP is to make sure everyone is happy and having fun, not making it a place where people have to worry that their charector isn't unique enough to be accepted, so what's best for our RP is to continue accepting the apps we receive (provided ofcourse that they follow the rules and fill out the necessary info) and not turn away anyone based on the uniqueness of their muse

ten things i love about you!

1. your sense of humor: i love the way that you laugh and the fact that you laugh often. you tell a lot of silly jokes that i know a lot of people wouldn’t get or find funny but they make me laugh like every single time. and i can make you laugh too which is one of the best feelings in the world. you sound so happy and unembarassed whenever you laughed. you're not ashamed to feel things, to find joy. even when you freak out or snort a little bit and laugh really loud. those are the best laughs. but you speak your mind too. you're not afraid to make dark or uncouth jokes, and you deliver them without hesitation. maybe you say "i shouldn't say this" but once you're encouraged you don't hold back

2. the way you write: i love how you put your feelings into words. you really know how to handle your emotions so much better than you give yourself credit for. you can make me feel things just by describing how you feel. and it's wonderful just to imagine the thoughts and feelings whirling around inside your mind everytime that you try to say something profound. evern the way you write stories is great. the way you journal. the honesty you have for yourself. it shows you really respect yourself and that's great because you're so worthy of it.

3. your hair: i love everything about you from the neck up. well, from the neck down too, but you know. the bangs have really grown on me. your hair gets so fluffy and you just look like such an adorable little scamp. i just wanna play with your hair so bad. i can tell it's soft and the way that it smells will be just as good as before. i wanna warm your body up just by petting your head.

4. your eyes: i love how deep you feel everything. how truly, you experience every aspect of life. the way that that reflects in your eyes in ways that i wonder if anyone else can see but me. the way your lips curl up into a small smile and your brow furrows, when you look at me with those eyes with such sweetness, and such sadness. when you love me so much and know that we have to spend time appart. i can just see into your soul and know your feelings. all i hope is that you can use those same eyes to see how i feel about you when you look into my eyes too.

5. the way you draw: i love all your drawings. the care you put into coloring them all. you have such a good eye for colors. i hope i get to see more of your drawings, or maybe you could put the self portrait back up on instagram? you look so sweet in that picture. i love the way you draw your eyes so expressively. you're so natural at that. the innocence in your lines and your enthusiasm for art is so obvious. i wanna watch you draw more. see how you look when you're really deep into it, humming and looking with such intense passion. that'll probably end up being another thing i really fall in love with about you.

6. your values: i love how important things are to you. virtues like loyalty, trust, and being open about your feelings. they make me what to cherish you for what a good person you are. for your devotion and your dilligence. you've worked so hard all year, haven't you? i don't know why, but i feel really proud you do so well in school. you're so smart, and so good. there's just so much structure to your personality. you stand for things. like love, and peace. you have so much compassion in your heart even after it's hurt you in the past. you still just keep going. loving animals. being kind to people. forgiving me.

7. your hobbies: i love that we have so much in common. we can do so much together. drink tea and really appreciate it, or even coffee. we can watch youtube videos together just like we did for the first few weeks of our time knowing eachother. we can draw together, write together, roleplay, sing a duet. make funny videos ourselves. play games, two player or just with one of us helping or watching the other. i know nothing would ever get boring with you. there'd always be something we could do and have a blast, and we'd never -not- get eachother. we'll never fail to accept eachother because of something the other person likes. and that just makes me wanna hold onto you. we're made for eachother, we go well with one another and get along. i wanna challenge myself with you. i want to explore different sides of you and myself as we try new things together. i wanna help you get through dark souls, too <3

8. your littleness: i love how small you can be. it took me a while to warm up to it, but now i know i wanna take care of you. i wanna make you feel secure in being my litte. to never make you doubt that i love you or that i want you to act small. i know you don't wanna be in that mode all the time, and that's fine! but i want that aspect of our lives to permeate out. i want you to see me as someone you can rely on to care for you. i want you to look up to me and admire me. i wanna feel needed. i love how unashamed you are about it. you want to act young and innocent, or, more accurately, let that part of your personality shine through. maybe that's what i really love most about this. but gosh, you get so so into it. you love your role and you play it so well, it inspires me to be the best counterpart i can be. i want you to flourish and make you happy. and it makes me happy that i get to explore this side of myself too. watching you while you color, asking you questions and showering you with praise when you answer. really, just showering you in praise all the time. you're such a good girl. and i wanna let you know it all the time.

9. your voice: i love the range that you have. you can sound sweet and cute, happy and excited. deadpan and snarky. cocky and cool. i guess everyone can kinda do that, but your voice just a joy to listen to no matter what tone you're using. and i always love getting to hear you sing, especially after how much you've improved this year! you're so good at improvising characters and making them distinctive. i can probably recognize all the different characters you've been just by voice and a line or two. hell, maybe i should put your ability to make characters on this list too. because you make really good ones, even if they're simple concepts, they evolve a lot, and have just the right amount of 'you' in them as well as lots of unique quirks to make them distinct. you get sooo into character and act them out just right. but back to your singing. i wanna hear you sing to yourself when you're cooking dinner for us. along to the radio, or just all on your own. i wanna live in a place that's filled with your voice. that'd be like home to me.

10. your love: i love the way you love me. maybe this is kinda cheesy, i dunno. but we feel the same way. we both trust eachother, we both devote ourselves to eachother. we're both worried sometimes, and we both want lives outside of eachother. that's really comforting. i wanna live alongside you. i wanna give you the feeling of being loved every single day. in all the different ways i can, to maybe try and see which ways you like best. my touch, my voice, my writings. i want to build all of those things into tools that can make you feel the happy warmth you only get from me. because i know what we have is special, so we have to make the best of it. i love the way you put me at ease. the way you make me feel like i'm perfect, even though you know about my flaws. i love the way you use touch. the way you use sympathy. the way you break my negative thought patterns. the soft kisses you give me when i'm sad. the way you hold my hand when we're happy. i love you.

i apologize for flipping out this morning. i just get kinda anxious when i know you're about to leave so i wanna bring up things that are kinda bothering me before you go, so that you can put them at rest before i have to wait hours to get another chance. but that's a bad time to do it, obviously. especially considering how haste makes waste and i trip over my words and then i have to spend precious time cleaning up on them, or i get frustrated and that just makes things even worse.. it's just a bad habit. you've done a really good job of reassuring me of everything. but i acted out of line. i know when i bring up all my old worries, you probably feel like i don't trust you. that i'm blaming you for things you haven’t done that i think you’re a bad person.. but i’m not, and i don’t, i promise. that’s just what i get scared of even if it doesn’t make any sense. i love you so much. maybe that’s why? because i love you so so so much that it scares me so so so much that you don’t love me back. no matter how silly it is, that’ just such a horrible thought that i just get scared by it and that’s not your fault. and i don’t wanna be be scared but sometimes scared people scare themselves even more. really, you've done everything you can, the rest is up to me, to calm down and remember how much i trust you, and to take care of myself instead of going off on paranoid thought cycles. i’m really sorry i started freaking out about it after you were already stressed out too. i really hope that you still had a good day. i need to stop assuming the worst from you. especially when all you've done is surprise me with the best, again and again.

i love you, okay my dear? i hope i'm not too anxious or neurotic for you. i'm trying my best to get it under wraps and everything. sometimes i mess up, but i think i've come a long way. and it's only because i care so much about you. about us. i care about things now, skyler. i have emotions! hah, i don't think either me or you from a year ago would believe me if i told em.
