Now that Lucy isn't wearing Tim's necklace anymore (at least for now), can we please see her wearing Jackson's necklace? To make her feel close to him? Maybe visit his grave?

I love your 6x04 spec about Lucy's camera being broken and her being investigated! You should totally write a fic about that if you're inspired ✨️
hi anon - thanks for the ask!
So @literali1110 pointed out to me that there were footage from Lucy's camera after the fall, so doesn't look like this is the route they'll go 😂
I do keep circling back on how hesitant Angela and Nyla looked when Lucy made her suggestion, and it makes me wonder if they may end up questioning whether protocol was followed or something instead? Or maybe Lucy will simply struggle with her own feelings of guilt around ending up in that situation because she was trying to prove herself?
I am glad that there's not really any ambiguity about whether she had to take the shot and whether the guy was 100% guilty, because I think it would destroy Lucy if those things were in question.
I'm definitely feeling some angsty inspiration from Lucy's struggle this season; jury's still out on whether it ever becomes anything more than random sentences in my notes app.
Regardless, I'm gonna hijack this ask to ramble a little bit on why I'm actually okay with the choices they've made and the story they are telling for Lucy this season so far. Like a lot of people, I hate seeing Lucy going through a hard time and of course I want to see her be supported. Give me the scene with Tim in the hospital a million times over; I'll never get tired of seeing that she is valued and loved by the people in her life. We honestly haven't gotten enough of that for literal years.
We've seen Lucy go through so much. But in five+ seasons, we've barely seen Lucy be anything other than her sunshine-y self for more than a handful of scenes. Even more so in the last few seasons. It is beyond time the writers take the time to give her character more depth and emotional range. It is beyond time they turn her back into a character that is deeply empathetic and relatable to the audience.
It has sucked seeing more and more commentary on social media the last few seasons about Lucy being childish, silly, unprofessional, and even manipulative 😭. And I think that's a direct result of the lack of care and intention the writers have put into writing her character since she graduated the FTO program. She's been used as little more than comic relief and a plot device outside of the ship for way too long.
Gif Credit @livelovecaliforniadreams
While other characters have progressed professionally, Lucy has remained mostly stagnant since she graduated the FTO program, beyond a few UC missions that all pretty much ended the same way without doing anything progressive for her character (why didn't we see her struggle with the ethics of UC work when it came to using Aaron's puppy? why haven't they helped us understand how she reconciles her love for UC work to her empathetic nature and the reason she became a cop?).
I think of Lucy's journey in comparison to Tim's -- we've seen him go through awful things. We've seen him suffer. We've seen him struggle. We've seen him evolve and grow.
With Lucy, we've mostly just seen her go through awful things and move on as if nothing has changed. We all have our head canons, I think, about grief and coping and what's going on under the surface, but we don't actually know what she's feeling 99% of the time.
Do I wish they would have taken the opportunity to explore the impact on her character in the aftermath of DOD or after Jackson died? Of course I do. I would have preferred that to having to see her struggle professionally in the shadow of Nolan getting handed success for simply existing. (And if I thought they intended the juxtaposition, I'd give them credit for telling a realistic story, but I seriously doubt it 😂).
But I'm still glad they are taking the time to tell a story for her now. And I'm glad they seem to be doing it with intention.
And this was not at all what you asked about, but here you go anyway, anon 😜🥰
Thanks for the ask!

PART TWO
Tim's last day of training was uneventful consisting mostly of last remarks and the handing out of assignments. Tim would be returning to his station to work along side Sergeant Grey. More importantly to Tim, he was going home.
He meant what he had said to Lucy, he did miss her. After what had happened with Jackson they both had sensed a need in the other to not be alone. Having her in his space and then his arms had awakened something he thought long dead. He could see how much distance he had always kept between them but with one night the gap closed.
He had always been aware of Lucy, looking out for her, wanting her to succeed. That is what a good TO does but now there was something much deeper happening. When she had teased him about a future wife she had misunderstood his response. It wasn't that he didn't think he would meet someone but that he already had. As he had listened to her laugh come across the line he could not fight the image of her walking towards him dressed in white.
Lucy woke with a plan. She was going to address what was happening between her and Tim. She needed to know what he was thinking. She would grab Kojo and pick up dinner and hopefully beat Tim to his house to get the dog settled and calm her own nerves.
The universe however had other plans. She was partnered with Nolan which would normally be fine, but listening to his ramblings while trying to figure out how to tell her former TO that she really did have feelings for him was proving difficult. As one of the slowest shifts she had ever had drew to a close they got the dreaded call. They were assigned guard duty of a crime scene until it was processed. It was already after six and she would be stuck for at least another two hours. She decided to text Tim to tell him that her plans had changed.
Lucy: Stuck at a crime scene🙄 Don't know when I will be relieved. Can I get a rain check on dinner?
His response was immediate.
Tim: No need. I am about to head back now, will swing by and grab the dog and have dinner ready when you get there.
Lucy: I don't know how late I will be. We could just do breakfast tomorrow…
Tim: I don't care how late it is. I'll wait for you.
Lucy: I will let you know when I leave the station.
It was after ten by the time she left the station. She sent a quick text to Tim and started the drive to his house. She had felt tired as she changed into her jeans and crop top but the closer she got to his house the more her nerves and adrenaline kicked in. She still didn't really know what she wanted to say. Tim had been so adamant about her coming over. Did he really want to see her as badly as she wanted to see him?
The porch light was already on when she pulled into the drive beside Tim's truck. She made her way to the door debating between letting herself in or knocking. The decision was taken from her when the door opened to reveal a barefooted Tim in his Grey joggers and white t-shirt. Before either could speak Kojo wiggled his way past Tim's legs to make his presence known.
Tim rolled his eyes.
"You would think he was the one that hadn't seen you in weeks."
He opened the door wide so she could enter as she patted kojo's head on her way to the kitchen. Dissatisfied with the amount of attention he received Kojo weaved his way between the various stools before she could sit. Lucy laughed at his antics.
Tim slide open the patio door and turned to Kojo. "Come on boot that's enough. You've seen our girl it's my turn."
Lucy felt heat rise in her face at his words as she took a seat at the bar watching Kojo run out into the yard. Tim slide the door closed and turned back to her.
"Hi."
She smiled at his mock annoyance with the dog."Hi."
He moved toward the microwave "You hungry? I picked you up a burger."
" No not really maybe later. I had a few snacks. I want to hear all about your training."
"There is not much to tell that I haven't already. I'll get some drinks if you want to sit on the couch."
She walked back through to the living room feeling her nerves rise again. That's when she saw it. A silver frame on the mantle with a picture of her in her green dress from Angela's wedding. It was a candid moment of her smiling at something someone has said but she remembered who she was talking to.
Tim walked in with two beers and sat them on the coffee table.
"Where did you get this?"
He turned to see what had caught her attention and came to stand behind her.
"Angela has started going through photos from that day and she gave me that one."
"That day seems so long ago now. I am not even sure I am the same person I was then."
" Your not in every way, you're stronger." He gently turned her to face him as he cupped her face in his hands. " When I look at you I still see that bright sunshine love of life that you have but I also see a strong woman who can bring me to my knees."
Her eyes pooled with unshed tears as she reached up to hold his wrists. He leaned down till there foreheads touched and their eyes closed allowing themselves to feel each other's presence.
"Tim...I am not that strong, not alone."
He pulled back to look into her eyes again. " You're never alone."
He wiped the lone tear that spilled over with the pad of his thumb before meeting her lips with his own. One hand slid to her neck and the other to her waist pulling her closer. She could feel his hand where her top had ridden up as she stretched up to meet his kisses. It was hard to breathe but she kept grasping for him as if he was her air.
As they finally pulled apart she let her head rest against his chest in his embrace. When she finally looked up he had a small smirk on his face.
"What?"
"So does this mean we are still on for breakfast?"
She gave a small gasp at his forwardness before playfully slapping his chest. "Depends I am not an early riser and I wouldn't want to break any Bradford rules on appropriate times to eat breakfast "
He seemed to ponder this before grabbing her up handlely on his way to his bedroom. Her laughter echoed down the hall way as he spoke. " I think in this case some things matter more."

I don't know what to say about this episode. It was so intense and I have no words at the moment, but I'll try ti say something.
Warnings:
I'm gonna tell you this, I will speak about chenford at last because I have too much to say about them. So, if you are looking to that part just go to the last part of this post
I hope I put everything crucial in my comment, but I started to write it like two hours ago so, I'll add anything that is missing later.
I'm sorry if my English isn't the best, I'm just too tired to check everything again, so please don't be rude about it.
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM EPISODE 2x19, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET DON'T READ.
Jackson & Rios:
The bar scene, the competition to who was the best was really fun. I liked it especially when they put Nolan in the middle.
One thing is sure, Rios should have listened at his T.O., but like Tim said sometimes things happen.
I loved how Jackson tried to take Rios awake during the race to the hospital and how he checked on him until he died, constantly.
I wanna hug Jackson too, I almost cried (or maybe I did)
Lucy & Emmet:
The wake up scene was cute and I loved to see Lucy this way after Caleb. Maybe they should have explore more her trauma, but considering the events and that she had everyone helping her to move on I think is ok.
I didn't like how he stepped in when Tim was just doing his job. I understand that is not good to look at that scene from Emmet point of view, but Lucy was clear about "playing it cool", so why he did it? But, anyway, I love how she respond to him before leave.
The forgiveness scene, uhm, I don't know, I think she accepted the apology just because of what happened? I don't mean that she should leave him just because of that, I mean everyone can make a mistake, but.. It was to easy, isn't it?
Detective Lopez:
The chitchat with Jackson about the wedding was so fun, I really enjoy it.
What can I say, I loved her. I love her.
The way Gray trusted her, let her investigate on a dirty cop and how she was thankful despite the circumstances.
I liked her even when she let Armstrong being in charge, she had done the right thing respecting her superior on the field.
Nyla:
I liked how she trusted Nolan enough to made him taking care of the evidence in the car.
When she came back from the court for her daughter custody and understood wasn't Nolan's fault if the gun was missing.
The good news of the day, is really good. I'm happy for her and I hope to see more of Harper mom side. I appreciate that she share her news with Nolan and the thank part. I think he really needed it after everything.
Nolan:
The way he tried to help Erin with his advice was cute. It bringht out his father's side and I like it.
When he wanted to go with Harper to have her back I appreciated it. He collecting all the proof, securing it, lock it down in the garage was important
When he convinced Harper to go to the court I smiled. "priority".
When he figured out the gun was missing i really and he go to Sergent Gray he made me proud. I mean, I know it wasn't his fault, but he didn't.
The scene with Erin in the field was touchy, until Armstrong's shot I really thought she wasn't going to die.
To comment the moment when he found out about Armstrong I think I need to see next episode to se how he's going to handle it. I mean, he was really smart to review his bodycam, but how it will go it's up on him.
The mole:
Okay, then, when Armstrong arrived into the garage I thought "maybe it's him", but at the same time I felt like I couldn't be more wrong. Then they found about Erin when Angela reviewed everyone's bodycam that I really thought I was wrong. But I don't know how to explain this.. You know when you consciously have a thought, but there's a voice inside you that keep telling you the opposite? This is what happened. So, in the last scene when we understood he was the mole, I was just "oh my God, I knew it! I knew it!"
Lucy & Jackson:
I definitely love how they look out for each other.
I loved when Lucy told Emmet to go just to stay with his roommate because he needed her.
Best friendship ever.
Chenford:
We have too much going on guys, too much in just one episode and think I freaked out. Just a bit.
How cute was when he point out that Lucy was smiling a lot recently? To me was like he was saying "I'm keeping an eye on you"
When he was talking to Rios' T.O. about the rookies, the danger and everything and he automatically looked at Lucy? All I can thought about was "but you saved her, she's safe and it's not your fault what happened"
When he screamed out at Lucy because her gun's hand wasn't clear. Omg, I think he was going to punch Emmet when he talked. I mean, Tim maybe doesn't have the best way to teach something, but he was just doing his job. I think he was worried to not have enough time to teach her everything he know to survive on the streets. But Emmet, just made it worst and pissed him of.
The conversantion between them before breaking in that apartment I don't really sure I understand it. I mean, okay he needed her focus to have his back and the angrier wasn't helping. But angry with who? Tim? Rio's killer? Emmet? Everyone?
The shop's conversation. 1) Emmet is not Lucy's boyfriend. Can I guess it's nothing serious like they're just having fun or it's too soon to tell? 2) The part that he said that he won't be there in 30 days to keep her safe. I don't know, I really don't know what to say. He's so worried of everything that can happen to Lucy. 3) when Tim said that the next month wouldn't be easy because he knew she could handle it? And what about Lucy told him that he was sweet? What can I say.. I think it was fantastic, I really was looking at them with heart eyes 4) the best part is this, definitely, was when she said their friends and he didn't say no. He didn't. And I almost screamed. And I just can't. Tim and Lucy together are too much for this world.

I am literally GIDDY at the thought of them getting married. I literally smile every time I think about it. Can we please see some kind of acknowledgement of their engagement on screen?? Can we please see Hailey get a ring???? 😭💍
Super excited for tonight's episode. K, Imma go hyperventilate in the corner now.

Ok.
Why did we have to lose Jackson? SERIOUSLY?! And Titus making us think it wasn't him that died
Tim and Lucy. I can't. That scene at Tim's house. That hug. The way they looked at each other. They were literally about to go to each other before Tim came out with the info about Angela
Wesley doing whatever it took to get Angela back
Grey showing his emotions and saying Jackson was like a son to him
Angela being a total badass despite literally being in labor. She named her baby after Jackson
John saving Wesley
Tim and Nyla working together
I'm fine. Everything's fine. I'm good.

Hailey: Detective.
Jay: Detective.
Jay: I got you something… *hands Hailey a key to to their new home*
Jay: I guess I’ll see you at home. *raises eyebrows*
Adam: *comes in eating pickles out of the jar*
Jay: *uncomfortably stares at Adam*
Adam: Yo, you guys know we all know you’re doing it, right?
Jay: “Doing it?”
Adam: Doing it.
…
Kim: You do know we all know you’re together, right?
Hailey: *tries not to laugh*
Jay: Yeah, I’m aware of that. What I don’t get it is why that was a non-event, but this is a thing. We’ve been staying at each other’s apartments for months.
Adam: Well, 'cause, then you were just doing it. *shrugs* Now, you’re doing it.
Jay: It's the same thing.
Kev: It’s most definitely not the same thing.
Hailey: *still trying not to laugh*
…
Jay: Let me tell you something right now. I look around this room. You know what the first thing I think is? Here’s a bunch of relationship experts.

I haven't seen anyone point this out, so I feel the need. I didn't notice it until I watched the scene for like the tenth time, but once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. IDK why I love it so much, but here we are
