I’m so sad/ frustrated all the songs I’d like to play for concert band assessment this year is too hard for my band because wee suck
#the flutes are great of course#trumpets are also hella#although the percussion annoy me personality wise they are probably the best high school percusssion section in the state#we have one great alto sax player and one decent one and the other 4 alto players are shit#we had one great clarinet player but she quit/got kicked out im not sure which#the other clarinets are honeslty about on a high 6th grade low 7th grade level#except our bass clarinet our bass clarinet is hella#our tenor sax and our bari sax are both pretty good#we have one great french horn and 2 that are meh but one of the trumpet players is swichting to horn so hopefully theyll be good#we have 2 trombones that are great and 2 that are pretty good#one really good euphonium and the rest are shit#and lastly we have one great tuba player 2 okay ones and one that is complete shit#thats right we dont have an oboe or bassoon#we had them last year but they both quit so that dramatically decreased our quality
