I've probably asked this before but i dont remember </3 I still want to know tho
#myaa#polls#i consider it option one obv#this is how we get the structural racism of the 'gifted' system#we had a specific gifted kid program that was hosted by whichever school was poorest#(not literally. it was whichever school had the lowest test grades. so effectively the poorest school)#(this was to elevate that school's average test scores. for No Child Left Behind reasons)#you had to test in. we were separated from other classes#we were taking up resources in a school that no one else in the school could have#and ofc we were majority white and the rest of the school majority latino (very few black people where i lived)
