So I've recently been getting into oddities, I got two little butterfly wings and a bone in little jars to start my collection and one of my teeth, weird I know, but i had depression growing up , didn't care for my teeth and dental care is fucking expensive so when one of my teeth inevitably fell out (and I had finished crying) I saved It and cleaned it and it now lives on my shelf. But this made me think about the cod characters and their little goth gf

Price🥃- price is honestly such a daddy let's be honest, I genuinely think he'd not be too fazed due to his line of work, its not like he's not seen bones before, but he'd maybe be a teeny bit concerned about his little ones fascination with death, 'yes dove the little butterfly is beautiful but also why do you want to taxidermy the cat when it eventually dies?', he's so used to death but his little angel is so pure in his eyes so he worries from time to time but ultimately it makes her happy so he supposes it's not a bad thing. I do think he'd let her have her own space in the house for them , probably build her custom shelves for them himself. his angel doesn't gotta worry about anything just gotta sit on his lap whilst he sips his whiskey listening to her ramblings all about the different ones she wants to collect.

Gaz 🪽- Gaz is honestly an angel (a sexy, charming, beautiful little angel) he'd probably have known his love a long time, maybe gone to school with her or something along those lines so I don't think he'd be grossed out by these things, I think he'd just except his lover is a little weird but he knew that from the beginning, that's how they became friends never mind lovers. I do think he'd go with his girl to all the little gothic shops and fairs, 'yeah love that one's good, can we get a frog? I think this one looks cool'. He wouldn't be obsessed with it like his love but he wouldn't mind it, I think he'd just be neutral about it, I do also think he'd get her custom ones for valentine's day, like how people have those mice in different situations and outfits, he'd get her one holding her favourite dried flowers and an engraved wooden base with their anniversary on.

Soap 🧼- I love this big baby but he'd be so fucking whiny about it, 'hen wha the fuck is tha?..I can see it's bones!'. He'd definitely tell the team and absolutely would make jokes about it but he's mad for his little bonnie so this ain't gonna make him quit his love for her , fuck no. I think he'd go to antique shops with his lass but absolutely would complain about how he feels watched from all the beady little eyes on him, and please if she names any of her little creatures he'd take the mick 'aye! Stop naming m like their our wee kids!'.

Alejandro 🫀- honestly I think Alejandro wouldn't mind, his amor has his heart, you want the house to look like Halloween all year round so be it . his abuela taught him to respect the dead so I think he'd talk in his head to the little creatures, he has to move one to get something of the shelf, 'lo siento amiguito' (sorry little friend) , god forbid he breaks a jar ones in, not only would he be so apologetic to his little luna (moon) but to the little creature he disturbed, he'd fix it himself within an hour and get them a better jar, i think he'd even leave his favourite creatures offerings during the day of the dead.

Farah🌛- I think Farah would be Hiding her relationship with her sol ( sun) , her girl is so soft and bubbly but has this dark little look to her, but because of her culture and high risk job Farah keeps the relationship private to protect her girl. But I think there'd be signs, she'd buy her Bella (beautiful) matching taxidermy jewelry, I think some kind of bones or teeth, she loves her girl so much, she wants to show she cares by wearing her weird little interest.

Roach🪳- he'd absolutely scavenge his butterfly trinkets, I'm talking mudlarking, I'm talking on missions sees an old coin in a lake, his now, he's so sneaky and quick, the team are absolutely so confused why his pockets are so heavy and jingle as he walks but it all makes sense when they eventually meet his love at their house and it's covered in small little trinkets and also he absolutely buys her a pinned roach.

Horangi 🍻- I fully believe his sweetheart is a curvy girl, and he's obsessed, he buys her lingerie with spiderwebs in the mesh and makes her model it, loves seeing the way her body curves and moves as she walks, and he wears matching rings with her.

Now onto the guys that made my little vampire heart go wild with this idea

Konig 🌩️- firm believer that konig sees her one day and is just obsessed immediately, I think he'd live more rural in the mountains and would bring little trinkets he finds, almost worshiping his spatz (sparrow) like how people worship different god's by leaving offerings. I think he'd hunt his food often so he'd give schatz the bones and fur, he'd clean them too and would use the fur to make her things to add to her collection, anything to show he can provide for her. I think she'd be the small towns little witch, at least that's what people say, I think she's just a regular girl who loves cottages and creepy stuff but small villages talk, and konig is hooked immediately.

Keegan 🦷- Keegan isn't bothered, he'll he'd make it you, go into the woods and hunt for bones and dead bugs to preserve for you. I think he'd go to all the fairs and shops and I think he'd even get some himself for the animals he likes, not many but I definitely think he'd have a crow or something. my first thought with Keegan is on their anniversary he'd order his darling blood jewelry made from his own blood, I don't think he'd even think to much into it, the price doesn't matter and blood doesn't bother him, anything for his woman.

Ghost 💀- we all know that ghost is closed off and doesn't love easily so you can imagine when he does love he falls hard, in walks in this little thing and he's fucking hooked. He doesn't care how morally wrong it is, she's his, the second he sees her, just a little thing, he's gotta protect her, provide for her. Some how he worms his way into her life (definitely a meer coincidence and I'm sure no stalking involved at all) and he's not going no where. I think he'd buy her anything she wanted, he doesn't care about the price and I think he'd have some... unethical ways to get her certain oddities let's say, he kills an enemy and notices he has a prosthetic eye or something , well his little bunny would love that for her shelf, he can clean bones no problem, and if she asks where he got a human skull because they're so expensive and rare well 'got em from an antique shop' thats all she needs to know.

Best Of Me Alexis Sara, 2024 Edition.

Before the new year ends it’s time to celebrate one of the things I love the very most, myself.  In 2024 I did a ton of work, a lot of which I wasn’t able to share because it’s part of bigger projects. I wrote two books [rough drafts] in the Love Beyond The Holy Light series and am working on the 3rd, worked on Thirsty Sword Lesbians next expansion, helped my GF with one of her own novels, worked on several other TTRPGs, got to work on Gales Of Nayeli, started working on SRPGs of my own and more. Most of which I am more proud of than the stuff that is here on this list.  However, this is about the best stuff I released this year not things I did so enjoy the stuff I did this year that you can in some way shape or form access this year I think is best. 

10. The Upcoming Sapphic Games Guide This is one of the projects I work on all year long. Since I started doing it in 2023 I’ve been doing my best to find and cover as many possible upcoming sapphic games as possible. This is a big passion project that I put hours and hours into playing demos, reading pages over and over again, looking through devs twitters, watching every game showcase I can, I really and honestly put everything I can into making sure folks know where they can support sapphic games that are coming out. I hope for a world where I don’t feel the need to do this cuz people just say there is sapphic rep and what kind of sapphic rep in their games and that is an easy thing to find but unfortunately it’s way harder than it should be so I am doing the work so folks don’t need to.

9. Why FE4 Remake Can’t Happen Since the release of Fire Emblem Echoes people have had “rumors’ that the next fire emblem game is an FE4 Remake. Ever since then it has been the next game for every single game releases and it was going to be announced at every Nintendo direct. Somehow, this hasn’t happened and in this article I explain why it won’t happen [and shouldn’t]. I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time and it was nice to finally lay it out. 

8. Pokémon Sun and Moon Fic - Lillie: To Stand By the Moon Part 2 

After a little over a year, I finally wrote the second part of my MoonLillie fanfiction. I really want to finish this story but I’ve been busy doing work and didn’t take a lot of time for fanfics in general. I am really proud of this second part explaining what was up with Moon during the events of Lillie’s story and leading into part 3 with Lillie. 

7. Sacred Stoners #1 One of the biggest pleasures of the year was getting to work with Actuallizard my favorite FE Youtuber for an episode of his new podcast Sacred Stoners, in fact on the debut episode where I got to talk about queer rep in Fire Emblem one of my favorite topics in the world. Lizard and Sequitur were so much fun to talk to and I would hang out again any time really. 

6. Dream Game: Pokémon Contest Legends 

The start of what I would like to be a series but likely will only just be this one article, I talked about my dream pokemon game, a Pokemon Contest forward pokemon game that is all about raising pokemon to do well in contests and dressing up and really focusing on the bound with pokemon. 

5. Drums Of War Review 

Drums of War is an amazing romhack and one of my best games of the year in 2023. I really want people to try this game, it’s better than most mainline fire emblem games even if it is a bit hard [I think they’ve added an easy mode since after i beat it]. It’s truly a great SRPG experience and I really do hope one day we could see what Parrhesia would do with a game they could actually sell and not just a romhack. 

4. Super Idols RPG Episodes 38 and 39 

While Super Idols RPG episode 38 didn’t come out this year, the part of the show I was more actively a part of episode 39 did debut this year and I am so proud of my performance on this podcast as Selena, one of my all time favorite OCs and putting her on that stage was really fun.

3. Fire Emblem Engage One Year Later 

To “celebrate” one year of Fire Emblem Engage and talk about how bad it is and how I kept finding myself disliking it more and more over time. Fire Emblem is my favorite game series and going over these feelings I think helps me place where I am with the series for the future which is, that i might not get a switch 2 because honestly, Fire Emblem is one of my main selling points for a Nintendo console but unless Tecmo Koei is making the next Fire Emblem game I honestly don’t trust it. 

2. Sierra Laider My Dragon Age the Veilguard OC Sierra is among my favorite things I made this year and how does she show up on a list like this well, I wrote a massive 31 day challenge of fics for her and I wrote another fic before that challenge for her and I’ve actually worked on more fics and stuff of her while I was playing Veilguard. Actually playing Veilguard I’ve mentally adjusted some of her lore while choosing to Ignore Veilguards shallow writing in other areas but I have a full canon of Sierra and Asher planned out now even going into some post Veilguard stuff. I don’t know if I’ll share their stories but I love Sierra so much and I think I wrote some fun little fics. 

1. Love Beyond The Holy Light Volume 1 Rough Draft 

While the rest of this list is not really order and the numbers are here to make it look like a structured list, number one is actually this, Love Beyond The Holy Light Volume 1’s rough draft now out on Patreon. Love Beyond The Holy Light is my novel project, started as a webnovel years ago, I hosted it on it’s own site and it’s a story I never moved on from, I was realizing every story I was making was Love Beyond The Holy Light, that since I gave up on it so I had to return. So I went back and rewrote it from scratch not borrowing any of my old writing and wanting to take it again from the top better than ever and I really think the story is finally the story it deserves to be. I am so proud of this and I really want people to read my story. I think Love Beyond The Holy Light is really special and folks should check out my story in which a couple of Catholic girls get down so bad for a pair of trans women they give up on their religion and end up helping with a revolution against a theocratic state.

sushi was postponed...

sad because today i was going crazy how hungry i was, my gf had to order food and i had to eat leftovers... maybe i'm screwed up if a lot of my calories seem to come from snacking on carbs... if that's the only thing like holding me over... idk... whatever though, it does kind of feel good to not eat a lot i guess, or, eat less, since i already didn't eat a lot. is that messed up, sorry, i guess the being hungry is leaving me scattered. or maybe i'm just deprived of sugar and that's also good for me...my brain is adjusting... guess i am a freak fiend for sugar.

anyway, got ending a of fear and hunger termina... a lot to say and i'm sleepy. i learned to get ending b, at the tower, i need to kill everybody and that made me cry a little, honestly, it made me so sad! i can't hurt them, or i can, i guess i will... to see... because it seems like a happy ending for the character you put through there and everyone kind of deserves that happy ending. but gosh. i don't want to hurt them, i like them too much. ending a was shockingly easy, or, i guess i got lucky, apparently miro is gonna be nerfing damage over time and the blade weapon, the meat grinder thingy, i don't think it's thingy, it's just meat grinder, but i got the final boss with damage over time from poison, bleeding, and burning i think. i'm glad i did, but i guess if i'm any good, i'll be able to figure out a good strategy by the time the update arrives and i'll be able to do that route without being too cheap... but it feels like being cheap with the enemies is intended, because they can mess you up bad. so i think some of that will remain. i hope miro keeps it playable for people like me who really really suck at games, is all. i guess i have easy mode though. i don't mind doing that. what else...

well, thinking more on the meaning of the game, it's still difficult to put anything together entirely about that, there's a lot of stuff i looked at in the dialogue though, between certain characters, that makes them more affecting to me, the game gets more emotional as i think about it more. very odd, or not odd really, that's how lots of things are, the emotional experience eventually crystalizes into something more easy to articulate, and you don't necessarily give anything away when you do. i remember being scared of that as a kid, and early adult, that telling people these thoughts made them less important inside you, that was just clinginess, our private experiences remain such, heavy as always, it is a curse really that you can never be rid of them, an inkiness always following you. anyhow, reading marina's dialogue when she's in your party rather than play her, it reminded me of when i've had people in vegas and shown them around, pointing at how awful things are, hating the place in front of them, stuff like that. and then things like referring to herself as her father's "crossdressing son." i'm sure all of this is very general (every character just about has a twinge of that (it's good, though)), but it also feels easy to make it particular, or, there's a particularity to her that reaches me, and others, showing people around the evil places we grew up, or places we've come to see evil in, and the nostalgia for earlier times. in a way, looking at prehevil through her and levi's dialogue, there's something expressed about seeing a place you hated get worse, fall further into reaction and 'tradition' which seeks to snuff out all difference, for the two of them it can be / will be fatal, especially at that point, a material situation built on creating more desperation.

the other thing, is learning that rher's traces are simply being manipulated by the sulfur cultists is crazy, as is the rather poetic fact that the moon is only reflecting the sun, making it feel very crazy and obvious. so i suppose this make's rher's dimension the sulfur god's, meaning the production present, the strange factory putting...i'm not sure, you find lots of food, it seems like it's an extension of the god of fear and hunger maybe? as if he is some kind of god of labor? the flesh monstrosities stitches makes being a hyper-efficient and tortured labor force for one particular thing? very weird. it's also crazy that le'garde is the kaiser... and then logic, being olivia's sister, karin died in the fight with her... which was sad but then we won, i felt a huge weight off my shoulders, that twist is almost too much, the two reunited but in some... end of eva goo world where everybody is one...that kind of vision always makes me so sad, not that i think miro likes it, but that this is the "happiest" ending possible for the others... but i suppose as well... this could be a force which is genuinely kinder to people? it seems possible. it also seems possible to be, and it seems explicit in its ties to the fascist kaiser populist army, or co-option by them, that it could also, by the fact that desires and wishes of each shape the world inside the simulation, the wish granting, it would only turn to some sort of echo chamber (from the start it's an obvious analog to the internet, i wonder where miro will take it).

i'm just kind of devastated to have beaten it... these games now mean a lot to me, so suddenly. it feels really good to have new favorites, in games. with books, not to devalue their meaning to me as they always mean so much, but that is the thing, they always mean so much (i also always need to read more (i am stupidd...)), and music, i just love a lot of it, and spend a lot of time with it, movies... it's rare with movies too i suppose, but games idk, they are special to me, i grew up with them, books, music... and out of the three there, they are honestly rather...not good a lot of the time. stupid, aimlessly violent, whatever... halo is fun but what does it mean to me, the time i spent, it feels like, wasted youth almost. this didn't feel like a waste of time, i guess when games make you feel pain, like actual pain, like, i wish i were dreaming pain, and panic, it forms a connection in your body, they are extremely about embodiment, good arcade games are always like that, home gaming, it seems as if it's been harder for people to get there. but horror games, and games like this especially, they bridge that gap to the body, the speak to it by making your heart race, and then, speak to your heart with the characters, and then suddenly, your body feels its particular sorrow for a dead friend, as if a real body has lost life and fallen near you. it's not even 1/10th of real loss, but, maybe 1/100th? i'm not sure. i'm very emotional, and i care too much about very stupid things, i will get to something related to that in a bit, from today. but god, i dunno, the way it works, its movement, it is special for that alone. and then... the art... the characters, the fact that the lore is less lore and more a bunch of odd poetic associations between images and miserable sensations, failures of knowledge, in fact, that's something interesting the game's lore about gods contradicts and fights itself, the skin bibles vs. that donovan guy's book, who says enki is effete, the fact that miro weaves in this reactionary perspective into the production of some knowledge, it points to something much more interesting happening in the text, or via the text something we can recognize appears.

i also made a drawing today, because i was so sleepy i napped, which is now proving to be stupid, since it's 1:35 am right now (whoa... 13:35, like that one puzzle (my mind is ppsycho). i kept having this vision as i was in and out of sleep, it was this:

i don't know what to make of it, the penis woman, or the prawn baby. the entire vision was continuously, the penis woman reaching toward the baby, the other woman scared, watching, it was only ever getting nearer and nearer to happening, the sense was that it was some terrible inevitable ritual, but it was so distant from me, and the woman seeing, she was trying to protect the baby at the start but eventually seemed to stop, i dunno. clearly part of this is too many video games... but also i'm ddisturbed anyways. i always like hands that look like that, drawing things of that nature, it's cuz i liked vatiel's hands, the creature from sh3.

either my vulture culture hobby or because i am, by a small margin, more protective of ace than he is of me there'd be a lot of exaggerated "he asked for no pickles" energy fanarts or fics even though in reality i do exercise a lot of trust in ace being able to take care of himself (because he clearly can) and rein in my fretting most of the time

because we both initially get introduced during alabasta and won't become bigger deals until later, the tropes that are popular for us fluctuate between then and now

because to start viewers/readers would only know

ace is luffy's brother

i'm ace's girlfriend (and luffy thought we got together way before we actually did)

we're all childhood friends

at the end of alabasta, we get a cameo conversation where it's revealed that part of the reason why we weren't worried about luffy is because my devil fruit abilities didn't trigger finally revealing what my devil fruit is (faerie faerie fruit: model banshee)

+ minor things like ace is a narcoleptic while i'm an insomniac (complete with my irl eyebags that are half-genetics and half-my sleeping problems)

so during that early era, there'd mostly just be nothing but speculations on our childhood together thus our only real popular trope at first was childhood friends to lovers

            We got ANOTHER promo y’all!!! It’s technically a trailer but it’s thankfully very brief, given the runtime it’s hyping up is only two episodes, compared to usual TOH trailers that are advertising at least nine episodes! This is an official release and NOT a leak!

         First off, Luz’s laptop!!! She’s doing this 11:09 pm at just 20%, she’s got references to Stardew Valley and Hollow Knight on her desktop, and I think that one Hades game? The one with Zagreus? Anyhow the Hollow Knight references are REAL, coupled with the S1 intro, makes you wonder if it influenced stuff like Hollow Mind…!

         Luz also has a Good Witch Azura fanfic file! And she’s recently made art since her return to the human world; You can’t see all of it, but it appears to the Owl House’s roof, in a parallel to how the intro usually ends with Luz, Eda, and King on the roof when she ignites a light spell and pushes it into the sky! Augghhhh she’s coping…! And her username is @FriendofOwlsandTitans… Oh my GAWD! She accepts King as a TITAN she’s a friend to TITANS!!! Original art do not steal, just like her GF!

         “All I ever wanted was to be good at something”��� Good lord, if that doesn’t summize SO much about Luz. Her feelings of inadequacy. Her initial dreams of being a chosen one. Her desire to help others and be of service to them. Her need to JUSTIFY her own existence, to quote her girlfriend… That hit hard. Like I know but OW.

         She’s making video diaries again as we guessed, but this time to HERSELF; Girl needs a place to vent, good for her! She probably stayed up and snuck to the kitchen to let herself indulge in her dark feelings and thoughts alone. Did Luz make a video for Eda and King and eventually give up, being forced to confront herself inward without any distractions? She says she knows what she has to do now, is… Is Luz about to do something rash? Something involving Belos? Babey don’t hurt yourself, or maybe she just means the general principle of making thing right!

         Then skipping past stuff we DO know, we see Luz and Hunter dressed up for Halloween! Hunter has a HOOTY mask, likely meant to invoke his Golden Guard persona, and Luz is honoring King OH MY GAWD WAAAIIIIII!!!!! She’s MOURNING her Titan brother, just like she mourned Eda! They’re in a dilapidated house, the shack where the Portal opens? They’re armed… Probably investigating paranormal activity, AKA Belos. This fits with another shot of them entering a basement with the same coloring as the house, atop the stairs!

         We get a proper look at Amity and Gus’ new designs in the show’s own art style! They look AMAZING… They painted Hooty’s face on the door, pffft, but also ouch. The longing. Treating this place as an earthly version of the Owl House because it kind of is with its role and even coloration! If they miss Hooty you KNOW it’s been a while. Willow must’ve grown flowery vines outside to spruce up the place, it seems to have been converted into a fulltime hideout! If this was the old Wittebane home, I’m sure Caleb would appreciate it… Philip on the other hand.

         The door seems to have just… Opened on its own as Amity looks back. Or did somebody, probably Luz and/or Hunter (seeing a glimpse of Gooplos?) quietly leave, and Amity only notices when she hears the door swinging behind them?

         We have a hand, either Amity, Willow, or Hunter’s, reaching out to some glow-in-the-dark night decorations; Including a symbol of the moon and sun. This is likely one of the characters mourning and being reminded of the Collector, rather than in-universe connection.

         We see our cast, sans Luz, looking at some sort of box with styling reminiscent of the Portal! Not only does it suggest it was actually Caleb and his wife who made it (and Philip plagiarized), but also! Caleb must’ve left it behind in the human world. When Flapjack was pecking at the floorboards, was it to find this? It must be a clue, perhaps on how to make a portal, a Titan’s blood rift, etc.! Is this distraction what got Luz to sneak out earlier?

         There’s some sort of book page we see next, presumably the contents of the box the kids found given their hands! I’m not sure the significance of the symbols, but the bottom one reminds me of the curse… Or is it just a reference to Clawthornes loving birds, AKA his wife? Is that some sort of teardrop? Maybe it’s Titan’s Blood and that’s meant to be a FURRY arm of a Titan! And what even IS that thing to the right?!

         Hunter says “Did you know that HE was here?!” In a distressed voice. Is this him potentially confronting one of our protagonists for keeping information about Gooplos’ potential survival, regardless if they actually knew and were hiding? Or him talking about Philip and Caleb to perhaps Luz, with the realization that either was a town founder, and inquring as to how Luz didn’t notice!

         Then we get Gus and Hunter THE BROS dressed up for Halloween, Hunter doesn’t want to hear spoilers because Gus is likely talking about a recent human hyperfixation of theirs! Brothers.

         And then, finally… Luz and Hunter aren’t here, it’s just the other kids, maybe those two are at some other part of the zoo more personal like the aviary…

         WE GET THE LONG-AWAITED ANSWER TO THE GIRAFFES!!! AFTER TWO YEARS, ARGUABLY THREE IF YOU CONSIDER WHEN THE FIRST TEASER THAT MENTIONED GIRAFFES WAS RELEASED!!! Since the very beginning, we have been haunted by this question and whether they’d answer it, but now… NOW…! It all comes to light.

        The kids are obviously scared and locking arms in preparation, that’s so cute, venturing into ancient territory that hasn’t been traversed for generations. WILLOW HAS HER HAIRCLIP FROM WING IT LIKE WITCHES!!! Was it a gift from Amity, I MISSED IT SO MUCH! She takes a picture and a Giraffe, recognizing natives from its home realm, FREAKS… 

       We get one idea of why Giraffes were banned and it makes sense. God the kids’ reactions are so funny. Of course Willow the Bravest is bold enough to step ahead and take pictures for the rest! This is such adorable levity and I appreciate the closure, this is their one chance so of course they’d take it after two months of debating if they should risk it! Mayhaps they regret that risk now.

“Nana!” You reach out to poke his cheek, and he puffs them up before pouting at you. He reaches out and pinches your cheek.

You swallow hard, nervously fiddling with the hoodie strings once more and shoving all the butterflies down to the pit of your stomach. Twisting in your seat, you move your chair and spin his around until you’re both facing each other, knees touching.

At the immediate thought of kissing you, his cheeks explode in various shades of pink, the tips of his ears catching fire. He’d be lying if he said he hasn’t thought about kissing you daily. “I, uh, I don’t think I can answer that,” your best friend stammers out as his eyes dart towards your lips before meeting yours.

Jaemin tugs you closer until you’re pulled onto his lap, a muffled squeak of surprise coming from you, and he laughs as he presses his lips against yours more firmly, hands gripping your thighs as you straddle him. Your arms loop around his neck, and your heart ricochets in your chest as you kiss him back until your lungs are screaming for oxygen and you have to pull away.

Jaemin positively beams at you, eyes sparkling as he leans forward and nuzzles his nose against yours affectionately. He laughs breathlessly, resting his forehead against yours. “Yeah, that was really helpful. Our first kiss just happened right here a few seconds ago. And now, our second kiss is about to happen.”

Your best friend closes the distance, crashing his lips against yours once more, and you kiss him back just as fervently, smiling against his lips as he does the same. Never in either of your wildest dreams did you think this was going to happen, but you sure as heck aren’t complaining, and neither is he.

When the two of you finally break apart, you bury your face into the crook of his neck, flustered, and Jaemin laughs giddily, cheeks flushed and eyes twinkling. He hugs you tightly to his chest before nudging you to look up at him. “So did I get a 100% on the boyfriend tag?”

“Yes,” you say, sitting up straight on his lap and grabbing both of his hands in each of your own, intertwining your fingers with his. “You got twenty five out of twenty five. Congratulations on your perfect score.”

“Technically, you did do the boyfriend tag with your boyfriend then, right?” he says slyly, squeezing your fingers. “Shouldn’t I get some bonus points for helping you do the tag correctly?”

You chuckle, failing to contain your smile. “Okay, fine, you get bonus points, too. You did an A plus job, Nana.”

“I’ll take those bonus points in the form of kisses.” He puckers his lips at you, and you easily comply, wordlessly leaning forward to give him one, two, three kisses.

Jaemin grins at you, positively delighted before he attacks you with kisses, peppering soft kisses onto your cheeks, forehead, chin, the tip of your nose, and everywhere else in between until he finally kisses your lips gently.

If this was a cartoon, there would be hearts floating around his head and shooting from his eyes. He leans forward again to kiss you one more time for good measure. You smile mischievously, tilting your head to the side slightly as your hands curl around his shirt. “Are you sure there’s nothing else you want for your bonus points?”

His eyebrows furrow for a split second before his entire face lights up. Jaemin carefully cradles you, picking you up as his grip tightens under your thighs. You let out a quiet squeal, wrapping your arms around his neck, as he stands up enthusiastically.

❦ school was extremely transformative for me. as you stated i may have had traumas that shown through in school, most of my subconscious traumas did come to light within school. early elementary i showed a lot of attention seeking behavioral patterns as well as inappropriate discussion topics for a child that age. during intermediate school there was a lot more escapist tendencies, focusing more on not being involved much with family/school. there were times i had to lie to faculty about where my bruises would come from. high school was the hardest, i’ll only share that when i was put into foster care i was sitting in my headmasters office. i learned a lot more about the negatives and dark side of life and focused a lot more on making it through than living a childhood.

❦ i do have a tendency to try to escape the physical world, more often than not. i definitely find myself smoking and going on late night drives to get the best escape, but also find myself sitting in my own head sometimes because i got used to escaping mentally when i couldn’t physically.

❦ i’m extremely emotional, obviously bc of my cancer moon, but the way you were able to rope everything together was scary good. i feel a lot, almost everything, but i also feel this impending weight on not sharing what i feel? my mother’s rule growing up was “what goes on in this house stays in this house” and i got a lot of my ‘secretiveness’ from that. mostly due to feeling like a burden or a problem after sharing. i’ve witness my mother get arrested on multiple occasions, even had to console my siblings and pull them away from it before. i’m moody, possessive, and comfort-seeking as you stated, all traits i can see that i’ve acquired from my mother. i find myself taking on a mother role within relationships, platonic, familial, and romantic and i can see in my past where i’ve gotten taken advantage of from that. ❦ overall this reading was amazing, you know me without knowing me. i feel understood and accepted. the time it took to write this and feel the things you wrote make you one amazing astrologer and human being. i love your work as a whole, thank you so much. you’re a d4rk angel📷

My favorite character, my comfort character is Izuku!

He just seems so sweet and patient and understanding, and that's something I've always wanted in a relationship. but he's also not a total and complete push over which is also important. I just relate to a lot of his feelings. He just feels like he'd be safe.

Hmm about me. I am the mom friend, I fuss over everyone. Making sure they're cared for. I'm very soft hearted and sensitive, quick to irritate but slow to anger. Im a giggly bitch by nature. Aka I cope with humor. Ummm I'm a Virgo sun and Moon if that means anything to you?

As far as favorite tropes, I have so many, but I choose best friends to lovers. It's just so sweet!

Izuku came back with a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his head. “Thanks, (y/n). I don’t know where I’d be without you.” He took the bag from you. 

“Somewhere without a lunch, I’m sure,” you laughed, ushering him back out the door. “Go on, you’re going to be late for work.” 

“What are they going to do...fire me?” Izuku ignored the roll of your eyes. “I’m the one who runs the agency.” 

“Alright, no need to get cocky,” you said with your hands on your hips. “Are we still on for dinner later? The usual spot?” 

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world!” 

You grinned as you watched your best friend disappear out of the door, painfully aware of the butterflies that had erupted in your stomach as you recalled the way his eyes lit up every time he looked at you. Unfortunately, you were too afraid of jeopardizing the friendship if you told him how you truly felt. You couldn’t help it; he was so warm and inviting and sweet, it would be impossible not to fall for him. 

“How was your day today?” you asked, trying to make conversation. “Catch any bad guys?” 

Izuku looked up from his ramen and nodded. “Finally got that guy that’s been setting bus stops on fire. Turns out he was fired from his job as a driver and he was trying to get revenge. People are so strange…” 

You swallowed nervously and set your utensils down. “Hey, can I tell you something?” 

Izuku returned his gaze to you and smiled. “Of course, is something wrong?” 

“No,” you said, biting your lip. “Well...kind of. We’ve--we’ve been friends for a while now, right?” 

“Yeah.” He frowned. “What’s this about?” 

Here goes nothing. “I...I want to be more than friends, Deku. With you.” 

A moment of excruciating silence passed while he stared at you, completely dumbfounded, until the biggest smile you had ever seen him wear spread across his face. Taking that as a good sign, you let out a nervous laugh. 

“(y/n), I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting to hear you say those words.” Izuku reached across the table and took your hand. “You’re my best friend. You’re the one who knows me the best, and I’d be insane if I didn’t fall for someone as amazing as you.” 

“You’re so sappy,” you teased, but you squeezed his hand. “I just...can’t imagine going through life without you. I didn’t want to say anything because I cared too much about our friendship, and I wasn’t sure if you felt the same way, but--” 

“Trust me, the feeling was absolutely mutual.” Izuku resumed eating, but kept holding your hand, running his thumb across your knuckles affectionately. “After this do you want to go watch a movie at my place? Like usual?” 

“Are we allowed to cuddle now?” 

“I’ve been waiting so long for it, I’d honestly be offended if we didn’t.”

Aww that’s okay; if anything I’m sorry that a show and fandom that used to be enjoyable on the majority have turned into something exhausting and even triggering for a lot of people. What kind of shows are you into at this moment? I’ve seen a lot of people get interested in Danny Phantom lately (the full series is up on Hulu and apparently the season 2 finale anniversary is next week) but I’d love to hear what you personally like these days.

Hope you don't mind me taking the chance to place some recs! For these are really good and can use more attention.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts

A Dreameorks cartoon on Netflix now confirmed for a 2nd season! Its a colorful post apocalypse world where most humans went underground and animals mutated and evolved to rule it. It has a very Ghibli vibe to it in feel, especially falling animation. Of the humans that are our leads, all three are poc, two African Americans and Kipo is African-Asian (possibly Korean with her naming a pig Mandu). Also has an openly gay character, making it another in the DW roster to include LGBT characters.

Glitch Techs

Sadly canceled the first few months out, too expensive for Nick's taste which is a shame since Glitch Techs is one of the most fun cartoons I've seen in a while, and the animation is so fluid. Its a true love letter to gaming, so many references that gamers of all kind can pick up, and has a very diverse cast, with both leads are biracial (Five is Chinese-Hispanic and Miko is Japanese American). This is also one of those shows that fo siblings right. While cancelled, there are some unreleased eps, hopefully more views can help get the rest of s1, and maybe Nick will fo more with it.

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This has become my favorite adaptation of TMNT made thus far. It has a new fresh spin on characters and set up, fluid animation with small details that you can catch later with a rewatch, really funny and the turtles feel like teenagers and siblings, a very flawed and human Splinter, and April is black in this one and is easily my favorite version of her. Its wholesome, funny, action packed; those in Canada can watch it on Netflix. It is a different take on TMNT, but to me its refreshing and thry are changes I like a lot.

Amphibia

One of two Disney cartoons I've been liking. About a Thai American girl teleported to Amphibia, a world of anthromorphic amphibians. Very wholesome, colorful, and funny. It has some Gravity Falls vibes, though the mystety is more background and its more family focused.

The Owl House

2nd Disney cartoon, a spiritual successor of GF, of sorts. It matches GF in weird and dark tones and designs. And its a fascinating world to see. Luz is full of life and I'm rooting for her to succeed in becoming a witch, Eda is a literal hoot and has a lot of mysteries to her, and King is adorable. I am curious to see if there is something more to him as a lot of fans theorize.

Now this is where we move to rewatch list. Gradually rewatching Spop with my brother (his first viewing) and its been golden. Also been rewatching Inuyasha and AtLA.

For new shows (for me) is checking out Card Captor Sakura for the first time (very cute), and the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime, which has been a lot of fun so far. I will also be checking out s2 of 3Below sometime but, honestly not too excited do its been the back of my list.

And those are all the shows I'm into atm.

I got some fic ideas for AtLA and Trollhunters, here's hoping I can get them going.
