why is illusion both funniest episode of miraculous and also one of the most heartbreaking
#the scene at the lunch table and the cake/pizza scene had me DYING#vs the contrast of gabriel’s VERY apparent abuse towards adrien and just general cruelty?!?!#i’ve never wanting to throw that man into a chokehold more#there was SO much dramatic irony in this episode that enhanced both the comedy and the horror#gabriel being a part of the resistance network?!?!? WELCOMED WITH OPEN ARMS?!??????#gabriel manipulating and gaslighting adrien with adrien so shocked and happy for his attention?!?!?#while we know they are each other’s enemies?!?!?!?#gabriel is a disgusting slimeball and i hope every day that we do not see his sorry busted crusted self get redemption#we arealdy knew he did not deserve it#but there is not a doubt in my mind after this episode#UGH#i think illusion is now one of my most favorite miraculous episodes#there’s SO much going on in all the good ways#and i left feeling slightly nauseous#which means the episode made me really feel stuff#which is GENUINELY impressive given how numbed out my emotions are 💀💀💀#i’m going to be thinking about this episode for a looooong time#ml spoilers#ml illusion
