Someone reblogged this saying they'd never heard any of this before and they didn't even know how to begin verifying it, so let me help!
Here's a 1995 article from the NYT about Disney putting this policy into effect after promising to do so in 1994.
Here's a wikipedia page about Disney's unofficial Gay Days and how they've been protested by Christian groups.
I tried to find the book I read, but honestly so many different weird evangelical anti-Disney books came up when I was googling that I can't be sure which one it was. 🙃
So I’ve been enjoying the Disney vs. DeSantis memes as much as anyone, but like. I do feel like a lot of people who had normal childhoods are missing some context to all this.
I was raised in the Bible Belt in a fairly fundie environment. My parents were reasonably cool about some things, compared to the rest of my family, but they certainly had their issues. But they did let me watch Disney movies, which turned out to be a point of major contention between them and my other relatives.
See, I think some people think this weird fight between Disney and fundies is new. It is very not new. I know that Disney’s attempts at inclusion in their media have been the source of a lot of mockery, but what a lot of people don’t understand is that as far as actual company policy goes, Disney has actually been an industry leader for queer rights. They’ve had policies assuring equal healthcare and partner benefits for queer employees since the early 90s.
I’m not sure how many people reading this right now remember the early 90s, but that was very much not industry standard. It was a big deal when Disney announced that non-married queer partners would be getting the same benefits as the married heterosexual ones.
Like — it went further than just saying that any unmarried partners would be eligible for spousal benefits. It straight-up said that non-same-sex partners would still need to be married to receive spousal benefits, but because same-sex partners couldn’t do that, proof that they lived together as an established couple would be enough.
In other words, it put long-term same-sex partners on a higher level than opposite-sex partners who just weren’t married yet. It put them on the exact same level as heterosexual married partners.
They weren’t the first company ever to do this, but they were super early. And they were certainly the first mainstream “family-friendly” company to do it.
Conservatives lost their damn minds.
Protests, boycotts, sermons, the whole nine yards. I can’t tell you how many books about the evils of Disney my grandmother tried to get my parents to read when I was a kid.
When we later moved to Florida, I realized just how many queer people work at Disney — because historically speaking, it’s been a company that has guaranteed them safety, non-discrimination, and equal rights. That’s when I became aware of their unofficial “Gay Days” and how Christians would show up from all over the country to protest them every year. Apparently my grandmother had been upset about these days for years, but my parents had just kind of ignored her.
Out of curiosity, I ended up reading one of the books my grandmother kept leaving at our house. And friends — it’s amazing how similar that (terrible, poorly written) rhetoric was to what people are saying these days. Disney hires gay pedophiles who want to abuse your children. Disney is trying to normalize Satanism in our beautiful, Christian America.
Just tons of conspiracy theories in there that ranged from “a few bad things happened that weren’t actually Disney’s fault, but they did happen” to “Pocahontas is an evil movie, not because it distorts history and misrepresents indigenous life, but because it might teach children respect for nature. Which, as we all know, would cause them all to become Wiccans who believe in climate change.”
Like — please, take it from someone who knows. This weird fight between fundies and Disney is not new. This is not Disney’s first (gay) rodeo. These people have always believed that Disney is full of evil gays who are trying to groom and sexually abuse children.
The main difference now is that these beliefs are becoming mainstream. It’s not just conservative pastors who are talking about this. It’s not just church groups showing up to boycott Gay Day. Disney is starting to (reluctantly) say the quiet part out loud, and so are the Republicans. Disney is publicly supporting queer rights and announcing company-supported queer events and the Republican Party is publicly calling them pedophiles and enacting politically driven revenge.
This is important, because while this fight has always been important in the history of queer rights, it is now being magnified. The precedent that a fight like this could set is staggering. For better or for worse, we live in a corporation-driven country. I don’t like it any more than you do, and I’m not about to defend most of Disney’s business practices. But we do live in a nation where rights are largely tied to corporate approval, and the fact that we might be entering an age where even the most powerful corporations in the country are being banned from speaking out in favor of rights for marginalized people… that’s genuinely scary.
Like… I’ll just ask you this. Where do you think we’d be now, in 2023, if Disney had been prevented from promising its employees equal benefits in 1994? That was almost thirty years ago, and look how far things have come. When I looked up news articles for this post from that era, even then journalists, activists, and fundie church leaders were all talking about how a company of Disney’s prominence throwing their weight behind this movement could lead to the normalization of equal protections in this country.
The idea of it scared and thrilled people in equal parts even then. It still scares and thrills them now.
I keep seeing people say “I need them both to lose!” and I get it, I do. Disney has for sure done a lot of shit over the years. But I am begging you as a queer exvangelical to understand that no. You need Disney to win. You need Disney to wipe the fucking floor with these people.
Right now, this isn’t just a fight between a giant corporation and Ron DeSantis. This is a fight about the right of corporations to support marginalized groups. It’s a fight that ensures that companies like Disney still can offer benefits that a discriminatory government does not provide. It ensures that businesses much smaller than Disney can support activism.
Hell, it ensures that you can support activism.
The fight between weird Christian conspiracy theorists and Disney is not new, because the fight to prevent any tiny victory for marginalized groups is not new. The fight against the normalization of othered groups is not new.
That’s what they’re most afraid of. That each incremental victory will start to make marginalized groups feel safer, that each incremental victory will start to turn the tide of public opinion, that each incremental victory will eventually lead to sweeping law reform.
They’re afraid that they won’t be able to legally discriminate against us anymore.
So guys! Please. This fight, while hilarious, is also so fucking important. I am begging you to understand how old this fight is. These people always play the long game. They did it with Roe and they’re doing it with Disney.
We have! To keep! Pushing back!

I asked for fic recs so it only makes sense that I provide some.
The Invisible Stan by The Last Speecher (HeidiMelone)
Simple, short, but elegant. You know how hanahaki disease is a trope? I feel like this should be a trope, but idk what you'd call it - Ninny disease sounds bad, but like it's clearly based off of Ninny from the Moomins. Anyway, great fic <3
An Outreached Hand by WDW
Ghost trick au! Love a good ghost trick au! I reread this recently and it still holds up so well, still so good even if unfinished. Haven't played ghost trick since, some of the twists make a hair more sense - especially the twist in the last chapter posted and being like 'OH IT'S *THE* GHOST TRICK'. Shoutout to undead creepiness and cute kitties :3
Retrograde by scrawling_stardumb
Kissing this one on the mouth. Only one chapter and unfinished, but it's a long chapter and really makes you go 'whoa'. It's interesting because the summary *technically* gives you more info than the chapter itself, but it's that kind of dramatic irony that fits the writing so well. A good solid McGucket POV too, which there really isn't enough of. Tbh, it stands okay almost as a one shot? I wish this became a whole popular au like all the others, bc it kicks ass as a concept.
Finding the Right Frequency by impish_nature
A pretty cute one! Ford trying to figure out how to deal with Bill, and Stan having found a stable job, and someow their two worlds intersect. Cute moments between the two, and some good Stans getting to reconnect.
Things You Can't Take Back by thesnadger
Classic by the Snadger! I always appreciate people who take Stan's memory less and make it more complicated, or at least have there be aftershocks to have your whole life erased :D So well written.
like they were a perfect fit by hapful
Stanford Pines and the photo he never looses. A beautiful story about Ford throughout the ages and his opnions on family, specifically Stan.
putting the dog to sleep by parsnipit
Old Yeller is such a sad story, and also some of this made me think of Mice and Men, and ugh just Stan and Ford and beign willing to kill something you love - sometimes because you love it - and it's such a perfect analogy to them I could die.
none of those phds is an md, you dumb idiot by untrustworthyglitch
I always love a fic that acknowledges language barriers. It reminds me of a really old fic where I did something similar, but like, being away from Earth would lead to you forgetting a lot of things, including language.
Too Late, Too Soon, Not Enough by IncomingAlbatross
Ah, gotta love a good fic that shows the missing scene of Ford and Stan switching places. Who came up with the idea? Who needed to be convinced? What swears do they get to use while off camera? Stan I love you so much, and Ford I lov eyou for beig nso complicated.
Raising Stakes by MaryPSue
Mwah! A Classic if I've ever seen one! While I'm partial to werewolf!Stan, Vampire!Stan does have so much potential and MaryPSue puts it to use so well! A great look into what Gravity Falls was like back in taht time period, and I love when people utilize Susan in fics that take place pre-portal <3 Also, Carla! I miss you so much Carla <3 It's drama, it's action, it's everything!
Lost and Found by PengyChan
Tate & Fiddleford have a lot of untapped potential, and while I think going the angst route makes a lot of sense, this one is almost more fluff and catharsis, I guess? I love it, near and dear to me.
Off-Season by anistarrose
Time Travel fic, but not a timestuck au? More likely than you think! A cute oneshot with particular focus on Stan, Mabel, and Dipper. Just a fluffy little thing with a couple strangers helping Stan out through a difficult winter.
Persist and Dwell by fencesit
A bit of Soos's trust in Grunkle Stan, and a mystery that isn't so much mystery as it is simply just not explicitly said. One of the final scenes has still stuck with me, and this is defo a concept I'd love to see explored more.
flee from your ghosts (burn your house down) by thepolysyndetonaddictsupportgroup
While typically OTGW x Gravity Falls crossovers are, like, Pinescone, I'm partial to this version where Wirt is their dad. There'a few details that didn' sit well with me, but over all so incredible and well written. Some of the metaphors are just so evocative I could eat them. The descriptions are to die for. And I love the depiction of a dad struggling to get his kids to open up to him that feels like it's part dads struggle with teens and part those pines twins just won't tell the truth.
If you have any Gravity Falls fic recs, feel free to comment them!

Tumblr merch propaganda:
Sweatpants: super comfy. I ordered a 3x and they were a little tight but I'm also losing weight so that doesn't bother me. The print is good quality and feels tough. I don't know anything about screen printing or whatever the process is but I have a hoodie from WDW in 2014 with the same kind of printing and it still looks like new. I would be willing to bet the printing will last. They are black, not tumblr blue.
Vanilla Extract Bottle: color irl is brighter than pictured on the shop. I got pink thinking it was a more bubblegum pink but it is BRIGHT. the lid has a foldable straw. It's flat on the bottom but rounded on top, surprisingly comfortable in the mouth. Internal straw detaches for cleaning. Holds soda with no problems, but will hiss and release pressure when the straw is lifted, doesn't fizz out of the straw. Keeps cold really well! I filled it with a water bottle from the fridge and left it out all night and it was still cold the following morning. The finger loop has gel padding and is comfortable to carry by one finger even when full.
Tumblers: I got the presidential pink one and the sky one. Smaller than expected but perfect size for morning coffee. Comes with a matching straw and the lid has a slider to close the tumbler when not in use and keep things hot. Probably dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash so no promises.
Patches: some are printed, some are embroidered, both seem fine. They have iron on backing but never hurts to double secure with a sewing machine.
Offline Journal: I haven't written in it yet but it has a good weight and is hardcover.
Shoelaces: they're great, only complaint is the plastic aglet but I'll let that slide since it would be hard to get the tumblr logo on a metal one

It feels like so many people have visited Disney recently!
Anyways, since it's the perfect time for themed outfits, here is the Alice inspired outfit I wore to Magic Kingdom back in May 2022. The frilly lace details on the apron are my favourite ☺
Cinderella castle still had its WDW 50th anniversary decor at the time, but I think it has since been all removed earlier this year.
It was another hot, tiring day as we tried to hit all the notable rides. See last pic for "booking it to Space Mountain after rope drop".
JSK (Dot Pleats Sailor), apron, ankle socks, blouse, necklace: Angelic Pretty OTK Socks: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright Shoes: Fluevog (but I did wear sneakers most of the day) Headbow: Handmade Bag: Resailan (taobao brand)

He's such a loser to me now. All of my favorite celebs are crashing and burning this year 😭
IMO, Everything we see is in the contract. He isn't married, and he feels bad about lying. I know it eats at him that people in HW know he pulled this embarrassing stunt. He's ashamed, that's why he's hiding. At least disable all of your SM after your true love's bday. I was expecting another photo dump for his true love. He's embarrassed about team real vs. team PR. He's embarrassed that his life has been outlined and that magazines and gossip blogs, basically anyone, can read and refer back to everything on tumblr. He's embarrassed about being called a creep. I agree with the anon about Chris being timid.
But, why on earth would anyone settle with a person who is willing to post nudes for more fame. And he's private. She pulled a Kim K. When that happened, I thought, "damn, she would do anything for fame." Like all these influencers and youtubers. Those are the worst kinds of people imo. It wasn't a fit. She and her friends followed sugar baby pages that had him as a target. She had someone randomly 'spot' them at WDW, and all of that screams, "I can't be trusted." He took control of the narrative because he hates being filmed or photographed without his knowledge. She made moves he wasn't aware of. He calls his own people for staged photos. She changed all of her interests to his as well. He sees right through it. I truly believe none of his circle likes her. Including his family. I wouldn't want my son/brother with a girl who researched him and changed her personality to fit what he likes. That's a wolf in sheeps clothing. If he did spend alone time with her, he's probably anxious about her talking about their relationship. So this is transactional, make her famous to get her on her merry way. But now he looks sketchy chasing 20 something year olds in his 40s, which I learned is a pattern for him. His actions and words go against all his Im LIkE StEvE ROgErs bs. If none of this went down, he would still be on his high horse talking shit about Trump, chiming in on the war, and spouting more fake activist bs. But no, he's hiding because of this mess. And it doesn't help that she looks like a minor. The optics are horrible.
Her friends are always around. Like chaperones. Even in NYC, did they have to be present if she was with her "husband"? They are never alone. I know the NDA's are ironclad. He does not trust any of them. This is karma, he reaped and now he's sowing.
I wouldn't dare want to be with anyone who loves clout and morphed into my perfect soulmate after looking me up, like who even is that person really? I couldn't sleep next to someone with two faces. He's stupid for sure, but he's smart enough to be sitting at home alone with dodger while she's in her home country. He loses so much sleep over this, he even stated that his anxiety kicks in at bedtime. Oh well.
I don't think they're together, because all of this reads PR. But it doesn't matter now. His actions are repulsive to me. I can no longer be a fan. Im not watching his interviews or movies. When I see him, I keep scrolling.✌️

Favorite Disney Parks Attraction Showdown: Round 7/FINALS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Videos and propaganda under the cut!
Haunted Mansion: Disneyland, WDW Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland
Propaganda:
"The ride system was perfected by Bob Gurr, gay icon. Seriously, any Disney gays and Haunted Mansion gays, thank gay icon, Bob Gurr for giving us an iconic ride vehicle and system. The whole ride is iconic. It inspired modern day horror tropes, gives goth kids a cool ride to enjoy as they pretend not to enjoy their trip with family when they actually do, has that really interesting spider story in the ballroom scene, X Atencio giving us an iconic song, story, script, and voice acting in the Lemme Outta Here ghost and the break down spiel, THE FREAKING STRETCHING ROOM, THE WALLPAPER!!!!!! Hatbox Ghost being an urban legend, with his existence being argued and questioned for years until we finally got a blurry picture confirmation and him coming back years later, ICONIC! Madame Leota and Little Leota! The hitchhiking ghosts!!! GHOST HOST!!!! The freaking conveyor belt at the end of the attraction that you step off to and if your not careful, it's easy to almost fall, accidentally giving one last scare before you leave the ride and makes you realize how clumsy you are? Iconic. "
"This is a ride that I was absolutely terrified of when I was a little kid. I actually have photographic evidence of this (ask for it if you'd like). But, my goodness, this rough start only made me love it all the more as I grew up. This is such a fun and goofy ride despite the morbid theme and occasional eerie bits! It's a duality. The ghosts have such a personality and the Ghost Host is such a charming guide (and I find the fact that he abandons you to go join the swinging wake hilarious, especially because you wander into the attic with Constance when unguided). It's just such a well-crafted ride! There's so much to see and I never get tired of it. The Doombuggy itself is an ingenious way to move people through the ride with such a distinctive design. The Ghost Host raising and lowering the lap bar for you is neat (fun fact, The Phantom in Phantom Manor is a terrible host and doesn't do this for you, probably because he's too busy planning your death. Asshole.). The effects in the ride are so cool and hold up, especially the Pepper's Ghosts effect. The rooms are distinct and eccentric. The Grim Grinning Ghosts song is absolutely delightful, and it's such a nice touch that you can distinguish the vocals of different ghosts you see in the graveyard. I should also just give a shout-out to the soundtrack for the ride as a whole, which wonderfully warps the Grim Grinning Ghosts theme to match the scene you're in. The ride also does such a good job of plunging you straight into the experience with facade of the mansion (I adore the look of the conservatory) and the queue. The tombstones are so funny and I really appreciate the interactive elements they added in the exterior section. And then you get inside the mansion, hear the Ghost Host's narration, and get into the Stretching Room. How can I describe that room other than frightfully fun? So, why Walt Disney World instead of Disneyland? I prefer experiencing the changing portraits on the ride rather than in the queue. I love the library as the setting for the busts that watch you. The music room with the ghost you can only see in shadow playing a version of Grim Grinning Ghosts is captivating. And, my goodness, the staircase room takes my breath away and I love watching the ghostly footsteps on the stairs. It's even going to have the Hatbox Ghost soon (I am not weighing in on the discourse over the potential location for him).
"I love it. I love ghosties. I love the effects. I love women who murder their husbands. I love the jaunty tunes. I love having to stop for 4 minutes not even partway into the ride and having to watch the same things going on for ages. I love a good ghoul ride, man "
"Epic conveyer belt keeps the line moving (though that won't always stop the line from being long)."
youtube
Tower of Terror: WDW Hollywood Studios, Paris Walt Disney Studios Park, California Adventure (2004-2017), Tokyo DisneySea
Propaganda:
"you forget how scary it is until you watch the preshow. and then you forget how fun it is until you ride the ride. 10/10 would recommend went on it with my friends twice last time we went."
"WE LOVE HORROR MEDIA REPRESENTATION!!! ONLY PUSSIES TAKE THE STAIRS"
"This ride made me absolutely terrified of elevators for a bit. xD Anyway, the bellhop cast members are hilarious. The hotel that is covered in cobwebs and was clearly abandoned in a rush after a terrible event is so cool. The Rod Sterling Twilight Zone intro is iconic. The basement is an interesting setting for the final part of the queue. The generators, lights, and floor indicator malfunctioning helps build your anticipation. The friggin elevator moving into the hallway and into a new shaft when the electrical ghosts make their appearance and you enter the Twilight Zone is so impressive. The dropping and rising of the elevator is such fun and I love the randomized events they added. I have to say, though, that ventriloquist dummy in the unloading room still makes me uncomfortable."
"Who doesn't love a creepy dark drop narrated by the man, the myth, the legend Rod Serling himself?"

Just watched Haunted Mansion (2023) and yeah, they did good. In my opinion, at least. (SPOILERS as I ramble my thoughts. Obviously.)
Enough park canon material included to make me very happy! And best of all! We still don't know the origin of the Mansion! Ahhh! Perfect!
They have the WDW Mansion belong to Hattie (movie verse's Alistair Crump), but our classic mansion, while owned by Gracey who made a big mess with the help of Leota, still has an undefined origin.
There was an emphasis on the Captain. I do like that. He's a major hitchhiking ghost and one of the friendlier ones right away (technically). He's still left ambiguous, though. His haunts make him the Mariner, but he's anyone from Captain Gore, to Culpepper Clyne, to unnamed and forgotten captain.
I am actually a big fan of Gracey and I love his inclusion. He's the owner, or was the most notable one, at least. Not the originator of the place, but he was handed the role of "fucked up stupendously" and I love that for him. I'm speaking lightly but genuinely, this movie does show us grief in a lot of its forms and I can honestly say that I laughed and cried my way through the movie. They did very well.
So yeah, I enjoyed seeing the way they played out the cycle of grief, his desperation inviting the madness of a dark player. Hattie's origins are good by me. I only cared that he was NOT tied to Constance. The two can be diabolical ghosts but I didn't want him to be one of her victims. Big bad murderer in his own right is good with me. Love that journey for him. I do wish the cgi had been a little more...greenish and glowy. And I wish he'd been a little more playfully devious. But I was good with it. No surprise villain or unexpected twist—just ghosts we know, weaved into a tale, and real humans that worked.
I also loved the art style during Bruce's expositional talk about Alistair Crump. Like, damn, I want more of that. Deeply love it.
From cheesy to heartfelt to genuinely nice, this was a great ride. I laughed, I cried, I loved the story. I love that it was about the people. It was about genuinely difficult emotions that none of us can outrun. I love that there's a Mansion full of Happy Haunts in the end.
It didn't feel like they were rewriting or forcing a new canon. Hell, they had Bruce reference the endless crazy theories about the place. The ghost appearances came straight from existing, physical characters (love the Mummy of course). Stories like the dueling brothers and Constance already existed, and played right into the Tragic Souls after Gracey and Leota had already poisoned the Mansion through his grief.
Hatbox Ghost was the only one given an expanded backstory because the story needed an antagonist. I was good with that. Honestly the Crump Manor bit surprised and delighted me. But I also don't care if people view this as only one of many possible theories. I, personally, quite like it. I could probably ramble on this point further but I'll end it here.
Good movie. Well suited to the material. Playful, spooky, intense. I will definitely be watching it again.

Can I just say the music that plays at the Boardwalk hotel in Disney World is my favorite thing ever?
That is my favorite place in the world. I'm telling you. It is the most comforting environment ever and the music and the atmosphere it just hits all the feels for me. It's like a punch to the gut but it's like... a good punch to the gut. Walking around there when the sun is going down and you can hear the Epcot fireworks if you're staying there, it's all just perfect. Not to mention the amount of stuff to do there, I mean you have the entire boardwalk, plus you're in walking distance to 2 parks and you've got 2 other hotels right nearby and everything about it is just so perfect
I've stayed there a few times, but one of the times was during its soft opening after Covid so it was almost completely empty. We get a room looking out at the boardwalk right over one of the restaurants and that was just the perfect trip. The amount of comfort is just so UGHHHH
Sorry I could ramble about the Boardwalk for literal hours it's my favorite place in WDW and also just like... ever

41. she’s his what?
it was 9:53 when you finished getting ready, you kept checking your phone every 2 seconds to see if he had texted you; he hadn’t..at least not yet. you hoped..
a ringing came from your phone while you saw a car pulling up; more specifically, his car. he looked at you and smiled.
‘agh! yn you just saw him and you’re blushing already! get it together!’
you smiled back and got in his car, he looked at you with a fond look in his eye and turned to start driving.
“you guys are adorable! do you mind if i take a picture?”
the sudden voice startled you and you turned, there was a woman with amber colored hair sitting in the backseat.
“oh, sorry for not introducing you. this verr, my s-”
“his girlfriend! i’m his girlfriend!”
you froze. his what?
“ah! is that so? it’s..um it’s nice to meet you..?”
she started laughing at you, “the pleasure’s all mine.”
she winked at you and you turned back around towards the front.
meanwhile you couldn’t see xiao he looked at verr disgustingly in the mirror, she stuck her tongue out and she gave him a ‘just go along with it look’ he sighed and shook his head.
when you arrived at the themepark verr was the first one to get out, you were about to get out but xiao held you back.
“don’t listen to verr..she’s like my older sister. she runs the place i stay at.”
“ha that’s a relief.” you sighed and stepped out the car, not realizing what you had just said. when you closed the door what you just said ran through your mind. ‘eh?’
‘AHHHHHH WHY DID I SAY THAT.’
of course on the outside you acted normal, the whole day continued like that and you actually had a really fun time.
extra!
“she’s cute, i’m glad i got to meet her!”
“yeah? well you’re not meeting her again..”
“aw c’mon! i think she’s perfect for you!”
“shut up!”
when he shut the door he put his hand over his mouth while blushing
“i think she’s perfect too..”

Hello there everyone! And welcome to night fifteen of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month!
Tonight we have the DLR/WDW, National Pancake Day 2023, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Wreck-it Ralph pin. LR.
This was released for a limited time in celebration of National Pancake day on the twenty-first of February, featuring what may be the perfect character to represent the minor holiday. Pancake Bunny from the trailer and end credits scene from the Ralph Breaks the Internet movie. The pin itself has the classic pin-on-pin design, featuring a sliding gimmick that allows one to push the pancake stack closer to Bunny's waiting mouth. A little fun detail are the words "Pancake Day '23" written in syrup on the pancake stack.
A little fun fact about this pin. Originally it was released in the UK on the Disney Store website, before later being released in Disney Parks for fans to grab off the shelves. Why this was, well actually while doing research for this pin I came across Shrove Tuesday, which is also known as pancake day in the UK. This day goes deep into English heritage; involving religion, song, traditional recipes, and joyous activities. Including races that originated centuries ago when apparently a local woman late for church was seen dashing through town with a frying pan in her hand. Honestly, I did not expect to go in this direction when writing this post, however the history was fascinating to me and I just wanted to share. Just goes to show the interesting places you may go while doing research.

i Don't think it's the fact that she flew with her friends. Like on NYE is common to spend with a large group of friends, at least here in Europe.
I think it's the fact that she didn't stay with him after NYE or before, like on Christmas.
Or the fact that when he flew to Lisbon he stayed in an hotel, or the fact that nobody ever spotted her in Atlanta, or the fact that before the article confirmation no photo was leaked.
Or that after the pap walk he went back straight to Atlanta and after WDW she went back to Portugal.
That doesn't seem a couple who spend time together alone and the body language that they have around each other show that.
...sorry for my English but is not my first language...
Your English is just perfect for this, no worries. You said what many people are thinking.

Dress: Faithfull the Brand Praia Crepe Mini Dress ($180.00) | Jacket: Nili Lotan Tori Cotton-Blend Denim Jacket ($550.00) | Ankle boots: Loeffler Randall Raquel Chelsea Boots ($395.00) | Handbag: Ulla Johnson Hilma Leather Crossbody Bag ($765.00) | Ring: Haute Victoire Tiger´s Eye Carved Heart Ring ($1,800.00) | Hair clip: Jennifer Behr Large Monarch Flip Clip ($265.00)
Today's random outfit was inspired by Disneyland Paris's Disney Sequoia Lodge. The hotel has a modern Wilderness Lodge (hotel at WDW with a similar theme) look that inspired me to create a modern mountain outfit perfect for a day at the parks.
To bring this outfit to life, I started off with a dress that perfectly fits the hotel's vibe. I understand that it might not be suitable for hiking or walking in nature, but it would look vibrant and cute around the parks. The dress has a unique design that makes it stand out.
I added a jean jacket to complement the nature theme of the outfit. Besides, the woods and mountains can get chilly in the evening, so the jacket would be perfect for warmth and style.
For the boots, I wanted something that would be comfortable to walk in, not overly chic, and not look like hiking boots. The Loeffler Randall boots fit the bill perfectly, and they blend well with the outfit's earthy tones.
The handbag is one of the key accessories that bring out the outfit's style. I chose earth tones and the tie-dye print gives it a well-used appearance that pairs well with the outfit.
To add a touch of chic, I included a ring and a beautiful butterfly hair clip. The ring has a unique design that complements the outfit's vibe. The butterfly hair clip is a statement piece that adds a dash of elegance to the outfit.
In conclusion, this stylish and comfortable outfit inspired by the Disney Sequoia Lodge is perfect for your next trip to Disneyland Paris. It is an outfit that you can wear all day to the parks and still look chic and fashionable. I hope this outfit inspires you to create your own modern mountain look that is perfect for your next adventure.

I have very strong opinions about parks like Disneyland/WDW moving towards having core park features be exclusive to phone apps and Genie+ is the perfect example of what I think just sucks as a concept from the moment it started. Yeah okay, having to pay money for something that was once free with our tickets sucks because we're now paying more to have less access to these features. But I think what really sucks the most is how it all functions on an app that you have to download on your phone and fight with everyone else to use the in-park wifi* that has become even more bloated because it's the only way you can have access to anything Genie+ related.
It's an accessibility problem is what it is, because Disney thinks that everyone that visits their parks have access to phones andwifi or cellular data, and is even able to use a phone in the first place well enough to navigate through their app. Surely it's not like disabled or elderly people want to go Disney either though (said sarcastically.) (* = Unless you live in the states or you as a foreigner think it's worth it to buy a data plan.)

I think WDW's fantasmic with its changes is now my favorite version of the show. Not perfect, but better than it's previous version, and since it still has most of the original score and no Pirates I think it edges out Disneyland's for me.
