Tales of Paul Simonon's effortless rizz: The Clash signing autographs at their WBLS radio interview in NYC, 1981, as captured by Paul Busch.

When the Clash came to the US, the band, impressed with the burgeoning hip hop scene, fully embraced that NYC vibe and 'The Magnificent Seven" was one of the earliest takes on rap by a rock band. When they hit New York in May 1981 for a three-week residency, the landmark black-owned soul and R&B outlet WBLS had "The Magnificent Seven" on heavy rotation.

15 DAY BL CHALLENGE - DAY 10

Most Emotionally Pleasing Love Scene

This is tricky like emotionally pleasing...in what way? I have two interpretations!

The final love scene in The Sign, definitely had heavy but good vibes. It's so beautifully soft and emotional. Tharn knowing he's saying goodbye while Phaya is celebrating having survived what he thinks is the worst thing they'll go through together. It's so well done and just such a warm, golden hour glow, despite the ominous knowing feeling.

On the other side, we have the emotionally intense love scenes and MY GOD I think that has to be the COUCH SCENE from We Best Love: Fighting Mr. Second.

This is one of the most tense love scenes in a BL (IMO). Like Shi De is so sad and all messed up and he wants Shu Yi but he knows he shouldn't and he doesn't understand why Shu Yi is upset with him so he gets wasted and shows up at his place. Shu Yi is so mad at Shi De but unwilling to communicate and he misses Shi De and is also just sad and he still wants Shi De...but maybe not like this.

This position is visually stunning and as uncomfortable as the scene is. It's just so intense and dark and messed up and very well done. I love it.

Tan & Bun: "this proposal is insane and not something anyone with any sense would ever do and it's the only reasonable way that these two would ever do a proposal. this is coming from the couple who said I love you for the first time in the middle of faking their deaths. part of tan's plan hinged on the fact that bun would find his location using the one way tracker he installed on his phone back when he still suspected tan of murdering his friend from childhood. it involved their adopted teenagers chasing them with guns. bun did not hesitate to say yes. if tan proposed in a slightly less insane way I think bun would have been a bit disappointed."
