I got. REALLY carried away drawing my version of Death from the @witherburn-after-school-news finale.

Heavily impacted by the Not Deer(I based a lot of the bones on deer skeleton photos) and the fact that there’s a cool skull in the art lofts that I’m currently doing a charcoal piece of!

I meant to do everything in order!#now I’ve only done the bare bones pacing and a way overly detailed version of a guy in one frame #also. only really noticed it when someone else mentioned it. but it does kinda look like the modern depictions of certain Native American #folklore/mythology. that was not the intent. I just. really like skulls and the Not Deer seemed like a fun thing #and w/ that a deer skull+skeletal elements felt apt for a depiction of Death.#esp since there was a decomposing deer on my schoolbus’s route for several months of 7th grade.#only really mentioning it bc I know it’s something that like. gets appropriated a lot. this isn’t intended to be that
