Bought these two bags of Lay’s Extra Barbecue and Hot Chilli Squid flavour wavy potato chips. If you asked me what about the “Extra Barbecue” taste in there. Well, it tasted just like the normal smoky BBQ flavoured chips, nothing extra. Tearing open the Hot Chilli Squid chips, I can smell the umami flavours of the squid, coupled with the spicy profile when I bite into the potato chips. Between these two flavours, I preferred the latter for the flavours of the sea.

Idk if anyone has asked this before but if you were a potato chip flavor what flavor would you be?
Hmm, interesting question. I guess I’ll say that I’d be those wavy chips. On the outside, they seem like they’re just a slightly unique version of plain chips, but once you try them, you realize that they’re far better in every way they have a lot more interesting textures than you’d think. Horrible metaphor aside, I’d say that fits me pretty well.

Gotten this pack of Lay's Maxx Roasted Chicken Wing Flavour Chips (香脆烤鸡翅味) from the local supermarket. The thick wavy cut potato chips held their shape well in the bag while being crispy and crunchy. But the seasonings barely evoked the feeling that I am eating roasted chicken wing, maybe just some barbeque hints.
