I had a dream that I started seeing posts on tumblr about the "the pool water update." It was some new change to the site, being rolled out gradually, that people mostly didn't like.

When I got the pool water update, it turned out that when you opened up tumblr it would fill the room you were in with chlorinated water, up to the level of half an inch below your power outlets.

So to use tumblr you had to hold still, because too much movement would cause ripples that would rise to the outlets and electrify the water and kill you.

I had mixed feelings about the update. I got some pool noodles and it was nice to float around my bedroom whenever I checked tumblr. There was a trend called 'tranquilityposting' that I enjoyed. So not all bad.

There were a lot of blaze posts on dream-tumblr selling amulets that nullify electricity damage. Also, @max1461 claimed to have developed a 'posting technique that causes uncontrollable thrashing in 60% of tumblr users,' and was demanding a cash ransom to not use it

Meet Wind, the Tropicbird!

Facts about Wind:

He’s a smol sea bird, but he’s very agile in the air

Likes fish and crabs; he and Sky are buddies for seafood night

Sticks in a pair with Sky on the ground! That does mean he loses food sometimes (this will be explained more when Sky is posted)

He and Sky both prefer to fly on their own. They are solitary birds in flight! On the ground he will hang out with the group, though.

Aquatic birds actually have larger, more developed oil glands because they need more oil in combination with their denser feathers to stay waterpoof. Wind needs to preen more than the others because of this!

We bought a collar for Wybie that came with a qr code pet finder tag! Wybie probably won't be going out with us much, so it has been claimed by Lumpkin, who goes with us everywhere these days.

We attached it to a claw clasp so we can attach it to whatever accessory he is wearing when we go out.

The only pet options were cat or dog, so he is now an honorary dog. From the app we can see locations the tag has been scanned at!
