hey hope u dont mind me asking but how hell did u get the mods from qsmp to work bc i am Struggling rn

...it was not an easy task LMAO. i think i fought with it for like an hour or so, working out conflicts, compatible versions, which certain ones that just broke the whole pack altogether, etc. at one point i literally when through the whole list, enabling them one by one, until i found the one thing breaking it all (embeddium) and just scrapping it.

i might be able to help if you give some more details on what's breaking, but the main most annoying problems i had were: i couldn't get waterframes/watermedia to work, no versions were compatible with each other??? and if you have embeddium, GET RID OF IT. it made everything crash instantly every time without even a log which was the most annoying thing everrrrr.

edit: i could've sworn it was embeddium and that i removed it but looking now it's installed again and working fine this time. so fuck me i guess

Ayyyy we had a good time being gay art nerds and we definitely have to do this again sometime! (It was supposed to be 1-2 hours, we ended up bullshitting for 3 hours lmao)

I think the next subject will be something like WATERMEDIA 101: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, knowing your pigments and how they affect paint handling, etc., then we can see who wants to learn a little Tibetan Buddhist iconography lol

I learned recently that no reins or horseback riding is a thing! They called it “gentle leading.” Gist was that the rider steers with their legs/hips and takes a LOT of trust and a strong bond.

Overall sounds so fitting for the Hero of Time and Epona.

Geese at the winter lake, 8 x 10 in. Gouache on board. In the last photo, the painting is already varnished. I started this painting last winter, but couldn't finish it because of another work I had to do. When spring arrived, I wasn't particularly inspired to paint snow, so I decided to finish this painting next year in the winter. So here it is. It feels like the light in the painting suggests that Spring is just around the corner 🌱☀️🦆
