Solar water heater 100 ltr price in Bangalore
Solar water heater 100 ltr price in Bangalore
Solar water heater 100 ltr price in Bangalore, You should know about solar power first before going for any solar thermal system. Solar thermal system is based on the principle of converting sunlight into hot water (or steam) for use in heating homes and buildings. Solar water heating systems, commonly called solar hot water systems, convert the sun's rays into energy using a black-body absorber located inside a glass collector. When the temperature drops below, however, the efficiency decreases rapidly. Most solar thermal collectors have a maximum working temperature . To install a Solar water heater 100 ltr price in Bangalore, contact Jupiter Solar , www.jupitersolars.in .

What Is A Solar Water Heater?
What Is A Solar Water Heater?,a solar water heater is a device that converts solar energy into useful heat. These devices utilize the power of the sun to create a warm liquid that can then be applied to our homes and businesses. In effect, a solar water heater is similar to a conventional electric water heater; however, instead of electricity, sunlight does the work. Our bodies need water to survive and if we do not drink enough water, we become dehydrated. If we live in a desert area where there may not be much access to fresh drinking water, having access to heated water would be helpful.  Thus, a solar water heater could be a cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative.Buy solar water heater , contact Jupiter Solar , www.jupitersolars.in .
How Does Solar Power Work?
Solar powered water heaters make use of the sun's heat and convert it directly into usable hot water. There are several different types of solar water heaters depending on the desired output. The two basic designs are a direct (concentrating type) and indirect (reflecting type). Direct solar water heaters focus the sun's rays onto copper tubes , while indirect solar water heaters reflect the sunlight back towards the tubes. Both of these types of units produce hot water at high efficiencies, although the concentrating type has higher operating costs.

Cost And Efficiency Of Solar Water Heaters
To calculate how much you might save with a solar water heater, you'll need to determine the size and capacity of your current system along with an estimate of the total annual usage. Next, you'll need to figure out how much electricity you currently spend on your utility bill. Then simply divide those figures together. Your savings are determined by dividing the difference between your estimated monthly expenses and what you'd pay by the amount of energy your solar water heater produces. Let's assume you're saving $40 per month on your utility bills - that equals $480 annually. To calculate the approximate number of gallons of hot water produced by your existing system, multiply the volume of your tank by the average flow rate. Once again, let's say you have 5 gallons of storage capacity and your current flow rate is 10 gallons per day. That means you're producing 500 gallons of hot water each year. Divide that by 12 months to find your monthly consumption. Now subtract both the $240 annual savings and the $500 annual production from the $960 total cost of your present system. What's left over is how much money you stand to save by switching to a solar water heater.
Size And Capacity
You'll want to consider the size and capacity of the solar water heater you plan to install before making a decision. Many manufacturers offer models ranging from 100 litre to 200 solar water heaters. The larger the system, the greater the potential savings. Smaller systems can be installed outside while larger ones may requires a free standing structure . A good rule of thumb is to buy the largest solar heater unit possible. Keep in mind that the size of your home or business building will affect the size and weight of your solar water heater. Obviously, larger homes and buildings require bigger and heavier units.
Installation
Most solar water heaters are preassembled and ready to go once you've purchased them. However, they do require some installation work. After placing the solar heater unit in its final location, you'll need to add the hardware. Finally, fill the reservoir with water. Depending on where you live, the process may take a few hours before you start receiving hot water.
Maintenance
Solar water heaters don't require very high maintenance once they've been installed. You won't need to worry about replacing the elements until the solar water heating units are working or cleaning the panels since their performance will remain unchanged. However, you may want to clean the surface of the black-body absorbers every so often. Fortunately, they are easy to remove and replace. Also, remember to keep your unit clear of debris such as snow and leaves.
Water Heater
Water heating systems are used to warm water for bathing, cooking, washing purposes, etc. A solar water heater uses solar power to heat the water directly without using any fuel. In some cases, they use a storage tank where hot water is stored until required. These tanks are filled once a day and then heated by the sun. Heating water by boiling is considered efficient since many percentage of the energy goes . Solar water heaters, however, convert this thermal energy into electricity . Energy efficiency is thus increased. Other types of water heaters are gas-based, electric ones.
Storage Tank
The storage tank is the place where hot water is kept. When the temperature drops below a certain level, the pump sends water back to the boiler. Another type of storage tank is the closed loop system where water circulates continuously between the boiler and the tank.
Boiler
A boiler is a device that takes water at room temperature and heats it to high temperatures. Once the water reaches these high temperatures, it is sent to a tank where the excess heat is removed and converted to useful energy. Depending on the size of the boiler, it may need to have a fan inside to remove extra heat. The fan can either run constantly or only while the water is being pumped.
Pumping System
Pumping systems move water from one point to another. There are many different pumps, but some of the most common ones include centrifugal, screw, and piston pumps.
Electric Motor
Electric motors are the devices that turn the mechanical energy of steam or electrical energy into kinetic energy. An electric motor uses electric current to create rotating force. The rotor spins within the stator, converting it to rotary motion. The electric motor converts electrical energy into rotational energy which is then transferred to the shaft turning the impeller blades.
Impeller Blades
Impellers are the blades that are attached to the shaft. To improve efficiency, the blades spin faster by increasing RPM (revolutions per minute). The higher RPM increases the pressure of the water pushing it outward forcing it to flow around the outside of the impeller blades. This helps the water leave the impeller blades in a continuous stream and exit the unit.
Air Pump
Air pumps help move air across surfaces, keeping them clean and preventing mold and bacteria buildup. Air pumps are often used in air conditioning units to move cool air over coils and condensers.

Choosing the right water tank for your home or business is a crucial decision that impacts your daily water storage and usage. A 1000-liter water tank is a popular choice for many households due to its adequate capacity and manageable size. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll explore everything you need to know about the pricing of 1000-liter water tanks, including factors affecting the price, types of water tanks, and tips for choosing the best tank for your needs.
Types of 1000-Liter Water Tanks
1. Vertical Water Tanks
Vertical water tanks are cylindrical and stand upright. They are ideal for locations with limited ground space and provide a high storage capacity without occupying much area. These tanks are commonly used for domestic water storage.
2. Horizontal Water Tanks
Horizontal water tanks are designed to lie flat on the ground. They are suitable for installations where height restrictions apply or where the tank needs to fit under structures. These tanks are often used in commercial and industrial settings.
3. Loft Water Tanks
Loft water tanks are compact and designed to fit in tight spaces like lofts or attics. They are typically used for indoor water storage and are a great option for homes with limited outdoor space.
4. Underground Water Tanks
Underground water tanks are buried beneath the ground, offering a discreet and space-saving solution. They are perfect for properties with limited surface area and can be used for rainwater harvesting and emergency water storage.
Price Range of 1000-Liter Water Tanks

How to choose a water heater
Things you should consider when buying a Geyser | Water Heater
Types of water heaters available in the market
Safety Components of water Heater
Key aspects to consider when choosing a water heater
1) Types of water heaters available in the market:
Solar Water Heater: Solar water heater works on the principle of converting sun rays into heat for water heating purposes using FPC (Flat plate collectors) or ETC (Evacuated tube collectors). The key methodology used is black body absorption. Solar water heaters are an eco-friendly and green approach to water heating. Water is heated using natural sun rays and can be used by the entire family. Many state governments also give a rebate on electricity charges on households that have installed solar products in their houses. The payback for the investment in a solar water heater works out to around 2 to 3 years. The various capacities available are 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 500 LPD (Litres Per Day).
Electrical water heater: The most common type of water heater is the one that uses electricity as its energy input. The voltage used for a water heater is 220v to 240v but few are 110/120v. The wattage rating becomes critical for comparing various variants.
Gas Water heater: The gas water heater is also known as an instant water heater. This takes gas as an input and can instantaneously increase and decrease the temperature.
Way of Installation:
Vertical Water Heaters: For Vertical Water Heater vertical space is needed. While the price of vertical water heater may be cheaper than the horizontal option, the aesthetics look is not as good as compared to the horizontal water heater. The vertical water heater nonetheless has good efficiency and is easy to install.
Horizontal Water Heaters: Horizontal water heaters are space-efficient and can fit above the false ceiling. They come with options of right and left water inlets and one needs to be careful when purchasing horizontal water heaters. Horizontal water heaters are a popular option.
Best brands available:
Havells Water Heater
Jaquar Water Heater
AO Smith Water Heater
V-Guard Water Heater
2) Safety Components Of Water Heater:
Human skin can take water temperature up to 30 to 40 degrees. Safety aspects of the water heater become a very important consideration. The key safety elements to consider are as follows:
Thermostat:
The thermostat regulates temperature by cutting power supply beyond a set temperature. It works as a temperature sensor. When the sensor is heated, the liquid medium expands and break the circuit.
Thermal cut-out:
In case of the thermostat malfunctions, the thermal cut-out comes into play and cuts off the complete power supply when the temperature goes beyond 88 degrees. The water heater employs a high-temperature limit protection switch which can be reset by manual operation. The switch rapidly cuts off the phase line and neutral line simultaneously to guarantee safety.
MFSV: Multi- Function Safety Valve
This comes into play when there is a leakage of the water heater. It occurs due to build up of pressure inside the water tank. There are 4 functions performed:
a) Pressure Release Valve: When the pressure is more the 8bar pressure, release valve will help to release the pressure using the spring system.
b) Non-Return Valve: This avoids the hot water to seep into the cold water line.
c) Anti -Vacuum Valve: When there is no water in the overhead tank and water heater, there will be a vacuum generation inside the tank and it will cause harm to the tank. Anti-vacuum valve will help to release the vacuum.
d) Drain Valve: This is useful at the time of maintenance to remove the water from the water tank.
Earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)
This helps in protecting against short circuits. It stops the electricity supply in case any unwanted event happens, like a short circuit or high voltage and protects the geyser. The electricity supply can be started manually by using a reset switch. It works in two modes:- 1) Voltage earth leakage circuit breaker & 2) Current earth leakage circuit breaker.
3) Key aspects to consider when choosing a water heater:
The following are the key aspects, one should look for when purchasing a water heater for one’s home.
Water Heater Capacity
The capacity of the water heater starts from 1 liter and can go upwards of 100 liters. The application and water heater type are elaborated in the table below:
Capacity
Application
Suitable water heater type
1 ltr and 3 ltr
Instant water heater mainly for kitchen sink
Electrical water heater
6 ltr and 10 ltr
For a single person as well as kitchen sink
Electrical and gas Water heater
5 ltr and 25 ltr
For regular shower for a family of 4 people
Electrical water heater
40 ltr, 60 ltr, 80 ltr, 100 ltr
Used in PG, Hotels, also where bigger showers are used
Electrical, Solar Water heater
200 ltr, 300 ltr, 400 ltr, 500 ltr
Centralized geyser for more than one bathroom available in Jaquar
Electrical and solar water heater
Poly Urethane Form (PUF)
CFC free thicker PUF insulation offers complete protection against radiant heat loss, reduces energy consumption and provides higher energy efficiency. Check if the water heater has good PUF insulation before buying.
Tank material:
Regular water heater tanks have a thickness of 1.5 mm. Better quality tanks will have 2 mm thickness which is made up of mild steel. 1.5 mm thickness tanks will be priced lower compared to 2 mm thickness.
Anode rod: The magnesium anode rod is also known as a sacrificial anode. It protects and saves the tank from electrochemical reactions during water heating.
More active than the base metal and easily reacts with different water salts/chemicals.
It helps in protecting the MS tank from corrosion and increases the life of the tank.
Rod replacement is done based on the hardness of the water. When the water is extremely hard, the anode rod has to be replaced within one to three years.
Tank corrosion protection coating
Since the water tank will be in contact with hot water for a long period of time, the tank interiors and the heating element can get corroded. Many modern water heaters provide for a glass coating to provide protection against scaling and corrosion. A smooth glass surface ensures a uniform layer to the inner side of the tank and over joints. It provides protection against leakages and premature tank failure.
Water pressure handling in high rise buildings
The water pressure can become very high in multi-storeyed buildings. The water heaters in such buildings need to be capable of handling this high water pressure. Only some water heaters are suitable for such high rise buildings.
ISI mark
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency is an agency of the Government of India, which gives a rating on a 5-star scale for all electrical products, based on the electrical efficiency of the water heater.
One of the water heaters which has a 5-star rating is “ELENA PRIME” from Jaquar.
There are various brands of water heater which have a 4-star rating in the Indian market such as Havells, Jaquar & AO Smith, etc.
Warranty for water heater
The warranty for the water heater is as follows:
Number of years
Material warranty
1 yr min – 7 yr max
Steel container (Tank)
1 yr min – 4 yr max
Heating element
1 yr min – 2 yr max
Comprehensive

Solar Energy
Top brand solar water heater - Jupiter Solar ,www.jupitersolars.in, this technology uses light and solar power to generate electricity. Solar energy collectors work similar to a photovoltaic cell. When sunlight hits them, they convert light energy into electrical energy using semiconductor materials. While solar cells use silicon to collect radiant energy, the sun heats up water which then generates steam. Inside of the collector takes the steam and turns it back into hot water. Then, a pump moves this hot water throughout the house. By doing so, you will save money on utility bills without sacrificing comfort. You don't have to worry about the weather either since your heater works regardless if it's cloudy or sunny out. Top brand solar water heater , Jupiter Solar, one of the best solar water heater Bangalore.

In other words, you aren't wasting a lot of space storing huge amounts of water that is never actually used. As long as you have a constant supply of hot water coming out of your faucet, you won't have to worry about running out of hot water. Not only does this type of water heater help conserve natural resources, it also costs significantly less monthly compared to traditional storage tanks.
