My personal favorite George Lucas lore is that Star Wars put him in the hospital, and by that, I mean that he was so stressed while filming A New Hope that he had to go to the hospital because of an anxiety attack.

just thought about an olympic scenario where something goes wrong - it's the third or fourth time that andrew, neil, and kevin are playing with the US court, all together. and the USA have been reigning champions for each one of those years that they've been representing their country. they're a powerhouse, unbeatable, undefeated, each of them changing the game, a nightmare to play against.

andrew minyard, the best goalkeeper the sport has ever seen, every time playing better than the last. nobody wants to play against him. maybe it's funny for a second, strikers having this dream - can i do it? can i score against him? is he really that good? and he is.

the US have carried the game through to the finals, and now it's the finals. USA vs JPN, as it usually is, or USA vs IRE. their racquets clack together and the game begins. and the other team gets a goal in, and the USA scores, and the other team scores, and the other team scores, and the US team are losing it today, folks.

they take a time out, and andrew calls neil over. he's pointing across the court as if he's giving him instruction, but he's frustrated. I'm not with it, he shakes his head, his german is quick and messy. my head isn't in it, i can't fucking do it.

he's angry, and he's passionate, and it's one of those moments that neil or kevin really see how much andrew has changed - if andrew doesn't care, why is he so concerned? but this is his life now, and fuck anyone else if they think he's willing to let them lose. but his head isn't in it - his body isn't working with him, it's the worst timing for him to be in the place he's in mentally. but there's nothing he can do.

play resumes, its another few minutes, and then the goal behind him is red again. he slams his racquet against the ground, and he swears, and he puts his hand up to get subbed out. if he keeps playing like this, they're going to lose. kevin stops him as he walking across the court, but andrew keeps walking. his helmet is off before he's reached the court door.

OLYMPIC BLUNDER: IS IT TIME FOR ANDREW MINYARD TO RETIRE?

he's sitting on the sidelines, watching the game continue, maybe jeremy tries to offer him some comfort beside him, but he's not listening. is this it? has he peaked? why did this happen now, why at the olympics?

IS ANDREW MINYARD LOSING HIS TOUCH?

QUITTER, INCAPABLE, LOSING IT, LOSING IT, LOSING IT

is he selfish for coming off the court, when he's the best in the game? is he costing them their win by staying, or is he costing them their win by stepping out? is neil distracted now, glancing at him every now and again, to make sure hes okay? is this it? is he ever going to be the best again?
