Watase Masaru: "I know a relationship with someone like me is never easy. But if you'd be willing to go down that path with me, I'd be a very happy man."

Watase always has work on his mind, even when he's being romantic. He's totally sincere by the way! He'd just never want to put you in a situation where his lifestyle and occupation would be a point of discomfort for you.

It's definitely not a spewing of emotions. Watase is a well put together man and he's taken time to put is words together before saying anything. Speaks rather formarlly as well for some reason, even if he already knows you well.

He will not plan out a specific place or setting to do this, and his stoic demeanor does not give away that this is something that's going to happen. If you're more of an oblivious person, it'll be quite a shock.

Kashiwagi Osamu: "Maybe it's foolish for me to say this but... thank you. For being in my life. You don't know what it means to me."

Kashiwagi does not confess in the hopes of having his feelings reciprocated. The man does not think he is romance material. Let's be real, most of his underlings fear him and the scar is a bit of a point of contention too. Bless his heart.

To him, a confession is something he has to do out of necessity or it'll just grow inside of him until it can't and it'll just die. He'd hold that in until a point where it would be too late and he'd regret never saying anything.

No fancy setup or gimmick or gifts or anything. Just a conversation. It's something he'll need to psyche himself up for a couple days in advance, but he shoots his shot so calmly you'd never guess he was nervous.
