Hey kind of a silly question, but what are the strawhats epithets in japanese? I was especially curious about usopp' GOD title, since it was spelled differently for ener and gan ford in skypeia.

luffy: 麦わらのルフィ/mugiwara no rufi: mugiwara technically just means ‘straw’, but is understood in-universe universally to be shorthand for ‘straw hat’ (麦わら帽子/mugiwara boushi)

zoro: 海賊狩り/kaizoku-gari: ‘pirate hunter’

nami: 泥棒猫/dorobou-neko: literally ‘thieving cat’

usopp: ゴッド/goddo: ‘god’ transliterated

sanji: 黒足/kuroashi: ‘black leg’ or ‘black foot’ (ashi can mean either ‘leg’ or ‘foot’)

chopper: わたあめ大好き/wataame daisuki: ‘cotton candy/candy floss lover/loving’

What a gorgeous song for their first week of release! Simultaneous releases like this is a cool showing of both voicebank versions, and made me appreciate the strengths of each.

PinocchioP - UTuber (ft. Hatsune Miku)

PinocchioP is back with another song that really shouldn't have a plotline but does, somehow. Really loving the Miku design here, very un-Miku color scheme but still visibly Miku (the negi twintail is a nice touch).

Kashuu Ryousuke - Shoka no Ase, Shishita Sanagara Chi ga Mint (ft. Yuzuki Yukari)

Summer is the perfect time for a song by this producer. I'm just repeating myself at this point but I can't get over how "dry summer midday on the edge of a heatstroke" their sound is.

I don't know how I missed this producer for so long (this song is from February), because this is all I want from an experimental/rebellion against aesthetics song: decently long, switching up between chaotic noise and beautiful melodic (and in this case orchestral) parts, and unmistakably robotic vocals with no room for doubt that this is definitely not a human being. 10/10, both song and PV took me for a ride.

　⸻ [ T ] HE MOMENT VI GOT A TEXT from Cait about Ekko being home, Vi knew exactly what she needed to get. Her motorcycle sped down the street and came to a stop at Jericho's, one of the best food shops in the city. She set her helmet down on the handlebar and found the food she wanted to buy. She got her personal favorite, but also some for Ekko too. And then she grabbed several bags of cotton candy, the wataame Ekko's favorite dessert.

Vi knew everyone's favorite food and sweets! Never let it be said she didn't know her food.

Once the order was made and in hand, she put it into one of the pouches on the side and sped back to the mansion. The bike flew like the window as if wings allowed her to soar through the streets. Nothing could stop her, even pushing the speed limit at times just to defy societal standards of safety. She pulled off into the driveway, set the helmet down, and pulled her foot out. Shifting the leather jacket on her shoulders, she stepped into the house and went directly to Ekko's room. "Hey, Catch!" Vi shouted, as she tossed the bags of Wataame at him and grinned as he not just caught it but somehow ripped it into the bag in seconds to start eating it.

"Not this time, picked it up at Jericho's," Vi said and lifted the bag. "Got us some dinner. I'm starving, and this is a perfect excuse for good food," She pulled out the rice, octopus, and veggies and plopped down into the chair. "Don't forget to come up for air sometimes, little man," Vi grinned as she opened up one of the containers and used her fingers to dig in to eat. "What'cha been up to?" The question left her lips, half chewing her food and half talking as she grabbed the notebook and started to look through it.

It was always relaxing, being at home where he didn't have to deal with people. No, he would much rather be at home with his family. Although he did have a dorm with his team, he personally didn't like spending more time there than he needed to. As such he usually snuck off to either JInx's dorm, or in this case, home.

Home was where he tended to do most of his work, whether it be homework, his tech work, or anything else. It was more quiet and warming. Especially when Vi came in with his favorite food. Heterochromic eyes lit up at the sight of the wataame, the brightly colored cotton candy always made him smile. He also noticed the the of rice.

"Oh, its been a hot minute since I had any of this, thanks V." Ekko reached out without hesitation, already biting into the cotton candy. "Did you make this or buy it this time?" Either way, it tasted like pure heaven in his house and he let out a sigh of relief.

He smiled at the older woman, relieved to see her. "Sorry, been kind of busy drowning myself in work, forgot to come down and eat." Ekko sat his notebook to the side. "It's delicious, thank you."

BALITANG ENTERTAINMENT: Representing the LGBT way - TV Asahi's "Crayon Shin-Chan" and "Wonderful PreCure!" join forces in a new special crossover episodes [#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE]

TOKYO, JAPAN -- Twice the heroine, double the weekend fun! A Tokyo-based anime studios between Shin-Ei and Toei Animation proud to present the world's first anime collaborative crossover of 'Crayon Shin-chan' and 'Wonderful PreCure!' airing both last Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning the next day (May 18th and 19th, 2024 -- Japan local time).

In a spot report via Crunchyroll News, a special collaboration recently happened first on national Japanese kids TV. Airing just for the occasional purpose since both anime shows are part of the same network at JOEX-TV 5's TV Asahi, among the affiliated All-Nippon News Network TV stations across Japan.

For those don't know about these anime collaborative shows on TV Asahi last weekend… 'Crayon Shin-chan' is a long-running comedy anime series centered around the misadventures of a mischievous kindergartener named Mr. Shinnosuke Nohara (knowing simply as Shin-chan) and his family of Nohara. While 'Wonderful PreCure!', one of a latest magical anime girl franchise of 'Pretty Cure' follows a group of the 2nd-year middle-school student sisters between 'Komugi Inukai' and 'Iroha Inukai' of Second Wangan Middle School (SWMS) who transformed together into magical warriors to protect the world from evil forces.

The show is known for its little to adult humor, quirky characters, perverted bits in several episodes and slice-of-life storytelling. And on the other side for a new 'Pretty Cure' anime franchise, they introduces new characters, themes and magical transformations who puts into teamwork with talkative animals.

Crunchyroll and OneNETnews are on the scene in action, in the upcoming episode titles on both anime shows called "Ora, I'm a Precure" and "The Mystery of the Mirror Stone". Anime fandoms on both sides in Japan are excited to see the difference in this said collaborative crossover event. It is unclear if they are going to have a secured animation and local licensing partnership on both animation studios of Japan.

Between 'Crayon Shin-chan' and 'Wonderful PreCure!' if Shin-Ei and Toei officially plans to have a limited 8-episode series event on TV Asahi, sometimes more or less… Everyone soon to be shocked globally and turns himself into an LGBT-style anime show with the same anime title but not on 'Crayon Shin-chan' at that time.

'Mr. Shinnosuke' (Cure Oshiri) and a pet dog 'Shiro' (Cure Wataame) may soon obtain the transformation item together of 'Wonderful Pact', saying their phrase individually "Pretty Cure! My Evolution!". Fighting to save the world in a normal life of Japan but, this needs to be a short training for both gay-like Cure heroine individuals for a while.

It may be the best to go on late nights at primetime in one go each weekend, right after your local news in their selected affiliates of "All-Nippon News Network" and a main TV station of TV Asahi in Tokyo. Neither of the show creators yet to be approved either for web streaming exclusive, a TV-anime show for teens and maybe adults, or both. One things for sure if 'Mr. Shinnosuke' (Cure Oshiri) and the pet dog 'Shiro' (Cure Wataame) now soon become a legal LGBT-style precure duos… His future depends on it, in time for this anime collaborative crossover event with a good professional, quality-wise storytelling that makes Japanese viewers and around the world to see themselves in history.

Here in the Philippines for international syndication, 'Crayon Shin-chan' airs in the early millenium of 2000s on IBC 13, RPN 9 (now RPTV) and ABC 5 (now known as TV5). While the defunct-cable anime channel 'Hero TV' in the late-June 2007, 'Pretty Cure' was aired (part of the ABS-CBN cable network, now as Kapamilya Channel) in a potential lost media of Tagalog dubs.

It's a sure delightful blend of contrasting styles & looks, and Japanese fans of both anime series likely enjoyed seeing their new protagonist boy-heroine characters interact in this unique and upcoming crossover anime episode events! 'Crayon Shin-chan' and 'Wonderful PreCure!' are available to stream right now on demand thru 'Abema TV' and 'TVer'.
