　⸻ [ T ] HE MOMENT VI GOT A TEXT from Cait about Ekko being home, Vi knew exactly what she needed to get. Her motorcycle sped down the street and came to a stop at Jericho's, one of the best food shops in the city. She set her helmet down on the handlebar and found the food she wanted to buy. She got her personal favorite, but also some for Ekko too. And then she grabbed several bags of cotton candy, the wataame Ekko's favorite dessert.

Vi knew everyone's favorite food and sweets! Never let it be said she didn't know her food.

Once the order was made and in hand, she put it into one of the pouches on the side and sped back to the mansion. The bike flew like the window as if wings allowed her to soar through the streets. Nothing could stop her, even pushing the speed limit at times just to defy societal standards of safety. She pulled off into the driveway, set the helmet down, and pulled her foot out. Shifting the leather jacket on her shoulders, she stepped into the house and went directly to Ekko's room. "Hey, Catch!" Vi shouted, as she tossed the bags of Wataame at him and grinned as he not just caught it but somehow ripped it into the bag in seconds to start eating it.

"Not this time, picked it up at Jericho's," Vi said and lifted the bag. "Got us some dinner. I'm starving, and this is a perfect excuse for good food," She pulled out the rice, octopus, and veggies and plopped down into the chair. "Don't forget to come up for air sometimes, little man," Vi grinned as she opened up one of the containers and used her fingers to dig in to eat. "What'cha been up to?" The question left her lips, half chewing her food and half talking as she grabbed the notebook and started to look through it.

It was always relaxing, being at home where he didn't have to deal with people. No, he would much rather be at home with his family. Although he did have a dorm with his team, he personally didn't like spending more time there than he needed to. As such he usually snuck off to either JInx's dorm, or in this case, home.

Home was where he tended to do most of his work, whether it be homework, his tech work, or anything else. It was more quiet and warming. Especially when Vi came in with his favorite food. Heterochromic eyes lit up at the sight of the wataame, the brightly colored cotton candy always made him smile. He also noticed the the of rice.

"Oh, its been a hot minute since I had any of this, thanks V." Ekko reached out without hesitation, already biting into the cotton candy. "Did you make this or buy it this time?" Either way, it tasted like pure heaven in his house and he let out a sigh of relief.

He smiled at the older woman, relieved to see her. "Sorry, been kind of busy drowning myself in work, forgot to come down and eat." Ekko sat his notebook to the side. "It's delicious, thank you."
